It is so laggy and unnecessarily complicated controls
I really wanted to like this game but I just can't. Offloads are absolutely broken and contests in the breakdown is non existent. The game barely resembles rugby you would see on TV.

Ce qui reste mauvais sans être une surprise : les graphismes, mais bon, le rugby n'a pas autant de fans que le foot, donc vraisemblabement pas les mêmes budgets jeux.
Ce qui a empiré depuis la précédente version que je conaissais (rugby 2006 ou 2008, bref 10 ans avant) :
1. On ne décide plus du nb de joueurs qu'on envoie dans les rucks, c'est pourtant fondamental mais ça ne gêne personne
2. Finies les combinaisons en attaque
3. Pas trouvé comment on saute sous un coup de pied à la suite d'une chandelle, donc sauf coup de chance, chandelle = ballon rendu
4. Le must du scandale : le positionnement offensif des joueurs est surréaliste, même les blacks n'en sont pas capables : quel que soit le sens de votre attaque et de la circulation du ballon, vous pouvez changer de sens en plein milieu et retrouver de l'autre côté une ligne d'attaque parfaitement formée en profondeur, il est ainsi possible de balayer le terrain de auche a droite puis de droite à gauche sans quasiment aucun ruck jusqu'à l'essai. J'ai ainsi gagné la coupe du monde avec les samoa en mode difficile après 3h de jeu...
5. J'aimais bien la possibilité de plaquer un joueur sans ballon (et d'être pénalisé)
6. Lorsque vous désellectionnez un joueur hors jeu, il peut en se replaçant rester bloqué en bug sur le ruck, déclenchant une pénalité contre vous
Ce qui s'est amélioré
avec manettes modernes, on doit pousser pour assurer progression dans les rucks et mélées, c'est pas mal
Au global :
L'animation offensive est tellement peut réaliste qu'elle vous fait regretter les versions d'il y a 10 ans.

I'll recommend, but with a catch: don't pay more than $5 for this. I was quite close to giving it thumbs down due to the frequency of glitches during game play.
I like the game. I live in the states, and there isn't much for rugby where I live. I don't care so much about the accuracy of team lineups as much as I just want to experience rugby in some kind of way besides watching youtube games, and this pretty much satisfies that need.
Obviously play this with a game pad.
Here's some glitches and other complaints from my 6 hours of play:
- Defender on the other team ran in circles around the ruck for the last half of the game.
- Defender on other team frozen in place.
- Time expired for the half when I was on defense and won the ruck. The players all froze on the field and I had to quit the match.
- Passing is about 95% reliable. Once in a while the pass goes off in a random direction that I did not want.
- The switch pass is a little slow to respond.
- Free play mode is only a single player-no way to make unopposed runs to practice, which leads me to...
- There is no good explaination in tutorials or documentation of what the "change attack" and "change defense" buttons do, I didn't even realize that was an option until several hours of play.

It is said that an infinite number of monkeys with an infinite number of type writers would eventually write the complete works of Shakespere. It turns out it only takes 4 monkeys with 1 typewriter to produce an awful video game loosely based on the game of rugby. I bought this for just under £5 and now I wish I had spent that money getting AIDS from a low end prostitute.
PROS:
-This game didn't give me AIDS
CONS:
-The controls were designed by a WWII veteran with dementia who had forgotten what it was like to have hands.
-You have two camera angles to choose from both designed by Ants In My Eyes Johnson.
-The players aren't real players which makes the game about as immersive as taking a bath that's been filled with the sneeze of a small child.
-The game of rugby was described to HB studios by a hebrew man with no tongue down a bad phone line. Apparently no one at HB studios speaks Hebrew.
Summary:
If you're desperate to play a rugby based video game, then be desperate for longer.
If you loved RWC 2011 then you'll hate this game.
If you love rugby you'll hate this game.
If you want to waste your money on something see above mentioned prostitute idea.

Le jeu ressemble beaucoup aux anciennes versions (j'y jouais à l'époque sur PS2), mais pour un jeu de Rugby, c'est très correct.
Bon, après, au prix fort, si vous ne comptez pas y jouer beaucoup, cela demande réflexion. Après, je pense que le jeu est surtout intéressant si vous pouvez y jouer à deux en local, vu qu'il n'y a pas de mode online et on doit assez vite faire le tour des modes de jeu solos.
Mais en solde (personnellement, je l'ai payé 5€), c'est plutôt un très bon achat si vous aimez bien les jeux de rugby et que vous pouvez y jouer à deux en local.
Ce jeu (Rugby World Cup 2015, payé 8€ sur ce site avec -75%) est exactement le même que "Rugby15" (payé 20€, et que j'ai voulu jeter par déception, après avoir lu les autres avis)
J'y joue avec une manette de Playstation 3 (Dual Shock 3) qui émule la manette Xbox360.
Tout fonctionne parfaitement (y compris les vibrations).
Après un effort d'adaptation (transcription affichage Xbox360 vers DS3) et un peu d'heures d'entraînement, je trouve ce jeu bien fait, riche. Il faut bien s'entraîner aux Rucks / Mélées / Mauls (bien comprendre la décomposition en Libération / Contest / Orientation / Décision). Pas évident, mais c'est ça l'entraînement. Je conseille plusieurs France/Namibie pour se rôder.

Este juego es malo con avaricia. No sé como la federación de Rugby tiene los santos huevos de ceder los derechos del mundial a semejante mojón. La calidad gráfica es tan pésima que este juego podría correr en mi teléfono. La jugabilidad es arcade no, lo siguiente. Los nombres de los jugadores son falsos. Encima ni siquiera se parecen, todos los jugadores 12 son negros con coleta, sea cual sea tu equipo. Es ridículo. ¡Ah! Se me olvidaba, en 4 partidos ya he visto bugs como jugadores que se quedan en el centro del campo dando vueltas sobre si mismos, jugadores que atraviesan el suelo y juegan de rodillas para arriba y que después de conseguir el balón en una melé, el jugador se quede pillado y no se mueva.
Compré este juego con mucha ilusión y me ha hecho sentir vergüenza, como a la mayoría de aficionados a este deporte.

Thoroughly enjoying the game. Using a gamepad, which is working really well. The graphics are decent; the gameplay is fast-paced and enjoyable; and the controls work really well. It is easily the best rugby game I have played, despite the many negative reviews. Compared to other rugby games, this seems to give much more freedom to actually play rugby properly and to execute a fast-paced running game. The controls for rucking are another highlight, I believe, actually allowing for slight errors to result in penalties (as opposed to just deliberate actions).
One or two people have suggested that you may need a decent working knowledge of the sport to enjoy this game, and I can see how that could be true. Even so, I would still strongly recommend this game.

This game had poor reviews but I thought it coudn't be as bad as everyone was saying, so gave it a chance, believe me IT IS WORSE than stated!! Why would a game that is using the licenced logo of the rugby World cup not have the correct team lists? Also I can't pass using my controller and there doesn't seem to be anywhere to change the controls.
This game cost $39.99, not worth it if it cost $3.99. My advice is wait for Rugby Challenge 3!

I thought I'd buy it purely because I've been itching to play a PC rugby game.
Team sheets are poor. No rugby game should have NZ or SA incomplete.
You would expect graphics to have moved on from the last world cup.
Gameplay is shoddy.
Waste of money.
Do not purchase, rather wait for Rugby Challenge 3.
Not without some flaws and missing features, but definitely a good, fun and quite deep rugby simulation experience.
To the players complaining about unresponsive keyboard, plug a pad, it works well.

But I think it's too hard for people not familiar with the sport.
I don't recommened it for people that don't know the basic rules of rugby. Otherwize it is worth playing.

Couldn't even play once installed. Must be some sort of problem which needs to be corrected. Really disappointed.
I quite like the game as it is one of the very few Rugby games out there, it's certainly not perfect but it is a lot of fun. The main issue I am encountering is CRASHING, it is constant and makes the game totally unplayable, very disappointed and am hoping for an update soon as I wish to spend more time playing! Cannot reccomend at present as unplayable otherwise pretty fun for Rugby fans (although not the polished article). 3/10.
**UPDATE** - Shall re-trial the game to see if I can get rid of the crashing issue and the report back. Original game was a lot of fun so hoping that re-installing will remedy the issue!
This is a very SAD game...disgrace to Rugby. lol
