Primeiro de tudo o Rocksmith original não vai fazer de ti um melhor músico,
é um jogo de hit notes com o teu instrumento musical.
Como músicos não existe outro jogo que te traga ação aos dedos de guitarrista ou de baixista.
Ainda me lembro dos primeiros jogos deste género com botões nas guitarras, nada a ver...
Experiencia boa para saíres do buraco com muitas gigs virtuais mas antes tens de estudar as músicas.
(Podia existir modo repetição, só existe se fores quase um zero a esquerda nas hit notes)
Super interessante a interação com o público e á medida que o teu score vai aumentando no jogo, ganhas mais amps, pedais, cabinets etc que te vão ajudar a melhorar a experiência sonora do teu instrumento ao longo do jogo, No pain no gain!
Fatores negativos dependem de ti, ou seja se estás a estudar um instrumento com a preocupação das notas aqui esquece, se estás a estudar músicas para tocar formatadas ás originais aqui esquece a maioria das vezes a configuração das notas no instrumento podem ser mais difíceis, mas eu entendo a ideia é um jogo!

It's good for when you're starting out, but as you get more advanced, it doesn't really help you and also kind of hurts you.
1- Some mini-games don't work. The sliding mini-game especially.
2- The songs aren't very accessible. I've been playing about 7 hours when this review was posted and I've done three concerts. Every time afterwards there are the same songs, and none of them I really want to learn.
It IS good in some cases though.
1- It helped me learn chords quicker. PICK COMBO ARRANGEMENTS they really help you in the long run. I've learned a few songs to their full extent with combos on. They're not that hard.
2- The duck shooter mini-game is fun and it helps you learn your fret board. That specific one helped me learn how to navigate the fret board really fast and is honestly kind of addicting.
Me personally, I wouldn't like it especially if some of the songs you already know, it's just gonna ruin your experience. Maybe wait for it to go on sale if it even ever does.
TLDR: It's ok, but it's also made by ubisoft so they're greedy and really want you to waste time.

Dieses Spiel ist für Anfänger im Gitarrespielen geeignet, man darf aber nicht zuviel erwarten, so bin ich bei einzelnen Songs nicht über 50% gekommen. Der Hintergrundliegt darin , daß teilweise der Fortschritt zu schnell erwartet wird. Zu bemängeln muß ich, daß das Rocksmith Kabel nach ca. 3 Jahren kaputt war, und offensichtlich mit WIN 11 nicht kompatibel war. Nun spiele ich es ohne Kabel.

Great way to pick up and learn guitar quickly, or take your time and really get into the songs.
Rocksmith, c’est un peu comme un Dance Dance Revolution, mais avec une vraie guitare. 🎸
Le jeu est censé t’apprendre à jouer… et il y arrive plutôt bien, tant que tu as le matos nécessaire (le câble spécial, la guitare, et un peu de patience).
Les chansons sont variées, les mini-jeux rendent l’entraînement plus fun, et ça réagit plutôt bien aux notes. Petit à petit, tu passes de “bruit bizarre” à “presque musique”.
Après quelques heures, tu te sens prêt à monter sur scène… mais dans la vraie vie, c’est surtout ton chat qui assiste au concert, et lui, il ne t’applaudit pas.
Note : 6/10 – Un jeu qui te fera progresser… ou au moins devenir le meilleur guitariste de ton salon.

I felt like this game really helped me progress. My dexterity definitely improved. The game automatically makes your guitar sound like the song. Just tune and go. Good selection of songs. It doesn't feel like practicing. Sometimes I need that.

it actually teaches you how to play guitar, not just pretend, would recommend to anyone who likes to gamify the practice.
I enjoyed this program when it operated correctly. However it is not being kept up by the manufacturer and will no longer run. I have seen posts about doing this or that to get it to function but at this point have had no success.

Forget that other game with the flipper and colored buttons...ROCKSMITH crushes that joke. Two ways to play...concert mode where you score higher the more accurate you are...the other is lesson mode that teaches you how to play...offers exercises...drills to improve...and it is good for both real guitar or bass...the basic game comes with a selection of songs from various bands, but you can buy band or genre packages...if you want to play a real bass or guitar...and not just play with a toy, this is the package to by

Great game, fun way to practice your songs. Unique compared to the other versions and there things I really love about this version.
I dunno if you can really still buy this version or the DLC. If you can and the price is right, go for it.

Been playing for almost 50 years. Never took any lessons. Wish I would have had this when I was young. This is a fun way to learn how to play. 9 out of 10 rating.

I'm actually not happy they took it off the shelves just to promote their new product that you have to pay subscription for.
I recommend this product for anyone who can get their hands on Rocksmith or Rocksmith 2014 Edition.
Now for the product itself, it is a genuine learning tool that will help you learn the basics of a Guitar / Bass. This product is not meant for you to be a turn key ready musician, you have to work outside of the tool and learn how you sound without others playing.
I actually have way more hours on my Xbox Edition as well when I played a lot of Offline.
Back to my Complaint:
Out of all the things that could be subscription fee, learning how to play instruments, especially for a specific song, should not be a subscription fee.
You could take one day trying to learn a song, or it'll take way longer than a month just to learn several sections of it.
bring the dlcs back !
Please re-release Rocksmith 2014 or I'll downvote every Ubisoft game!
I like things about this product, it also has good stuff about it.
It's sad that you can't buy this anymore, and that the genuine proprietary cable is so hard to get. the sequel greatly improves on this one.

if you do the (rocksmith recomends) tasks you will be able to play these songs. spend time in guitarcade. even the games you don't want to play are entertaining. No it isn't a live teacher. Yes there is an improved version. This game will take you pretty far into your guitar learning journey. One day I will pay a teacher, but I think that teacher will be impressed how far a video game took me.

What I really appreciate about this game is that it caters to both beginners and experienced guitar players. I had been playing guitar for a year or two when this game came out, and I remember my brother and I playing it for hours on end. Playing along with live tabs instead of sheet music was a unique experience, and I felt like it improved my reaction time in a different way.
It isn't perfect of course. The "Real Tone Cable" required to play is a bit of a letdown. It's an expensive USB cable, and you can't use an external sound card with a regular jack cable to play the game. I found this really annoying, since the auality of the real tone cable is questionable.
Overall, I still think Rocksmith is a great tool for learning and practicing guitar. It's a fun and engaging way to improve your skills, regardless of your level of experience. While it may not be perfect, the game is certainly worth considering if you're looking to improve your guitar playing abilities.

Don't bother with this one - go straight to 2014.
Either it sucks or Ubisoft sucks. I have had two games that for the life of me will not read my guitar or it reads it and i can hear it for a minute or two then it just stops. Getting someone to help is imposible and they have had 5 dollars of my money for a cpl years. Why is that? The 3rd copy i purchased before the ones for PC was for XBox 360. It worked great. So i try a digital interface and the same thing and over the years i lose the short end of the true cable and purchased another that didn't help. Not sure how much all that ads up too but theres always next year if my patients build back up.
I just started guitar and the tutorials really help, I also like the selection of songs, not that divesified but there is still quite the selection
I had Rocksmith 2014 before Rocksmith - there are a few things in the original that I wish had been included in 2014 - the original is fun to play and teaches extremely well, just like 2014 does... i found adding the original was worth my time...
It's not like Guitar Hero or similars. You can actually play with your guitar or bass. And it can truly teach you how to play a song or the instrument, since it has the lessons. The only downside is that it has an additional cost to buy the special cable, and it also requires an instrument. If you have them, it's totally worth playing. Nice blending of gaming and music playing.

If your goal is to play a real guitar, this is a far better way to spend your time then playing Guitar Hero
I learnt quite a few songs playing this game. It's been a long time ago though.
Good game, but I couldn't get the cable to work on any of my PCs except my old 2013 motherboard and a USB 2.0 slot. And even then, Windows had a *lot* of trouble recognizing and configuring the device on a consistent basis.
It's like "guitar-hero" but played with real musical instruments. A fun way to start playing guitar or bass.
It's not just a game, it's also a learning method!
I've played for a long time but am just picking guitar back up after a few years. I bought this just to try something new when I'm just needing to play but damn if this isn't fun as hell! I love the song catalog so far and am hoping I can still download more songs. Highly recommend!

Excellent guitar learning game. Lots of different content to practice and hone you skills. Those mini games make you laugh and curse. Definitely recommended for every skill range. 10/10 unless there is something better.
it's the funnest way i've found to play cover tunes... i've always been an original artist... this game gives me motivation to play other peoples music and the control to work on specific spots if needed... and the games actually are a fun way to practice speed and hand eye coordination... i love it!!!

Too bad this game is no longer available. While I certainly appreciate RS2014 and all it has to offer, I do miss the pseudo career mode in this version.
