Its an actually decent smash melee clone with actual original aspects. Now, the game isn't exactly being maintained by the developers much anymore since Rivals 2 came out a couple years ago. I haven't played that yet, maybe I will, idk. Either way, it has a workshop with plenty of mods to spice up the gameplay, and online... It's online. Most people there are pretty chill. If you're looking for modded online, you're gonna have to pray they have the characters you have. Me? I'm a mod merchant, almost any character you want, I got. Too bad I don't play online much. So, is it worth 30 bucks? Yeah, I guess. Depends on what you're looking for. Also I haven't ONCE touched story mode lmao

I've played this game quite a bit and in the grand scheem of things its great after all. We need More good 2d Fighting games. Due to the endless stream of modded Fighters, Stages, Ext! It will probably be a bit before the game has nothing left to do. So yes I do Recomend this game.

Bought the game, installed 10 modes, played it in school, got 10 people to start playing the game everyday with me, installed 20 more mods, eventually hooked my game to a projector in my class, installed more modes, got more people interested in playing with me, other classes start playing the game or even bringing a consoles to school to play in their classes or in mine, all of this in the span of around 3 months. this game changed my social life and if I would say that you shouldn't get it I would hate myself for life.
Get this game, it's peak.
(my playtime is mostly offline so I'd say it's around 60 or 80 hours.)

this is the best fighting game on steam In my opinion, the workshop is constantly growing and the game feels very responsive and smooth. as someone who played smash bros religiously I can confidently say this game Feels a lot more polished with the hitboxes and the response times in multiplayer. combos are 100% more rewarding when you don't have an edge grab to save you or a block button to hide behind. 10/10 if you love smash you will love this game

Really good game. Amazing ost, the game feel is satisfying and abyss mode is surprisingly addicting. The online could've been better tho. Oh, and the workshop has a plethora of custom characters, stages and even game modes to play.
The price is kinda eh imo, I would hold on until a sale comes through. Even so, I would still recommend it, especially with friends.

This is more competitive smash than the whole package of smash. Missing the wackiness like items and mode modifiers. Sad because this had potential.
