Гра запускається на Proton 7 - 10 в повноекранному режимі, але в параметрах запуску потрібно вказати наступне:

При цьому, на 9+ версіях чомусь чутливість миші дуже висока. На нижчих такої проблеми нема. Саму гру я ще повністю не пройшла, просто запускала для перевірки і проходила декілька перших загадок. На Proton 7 гра раз зависла, але потім таких проблем не було.
Параметри запуску допоміг підібрати ШІ. Просто відкрила стім через консоль і скормлювала йому помилки, які видавала гра при запуску. Ми з ним перебрали чуть не всі можливі варіанти. Правки конфігів самої гри, встановлення додаткових бібліотек, Winetricks та інше, але всі ці кроки виявилися зайвими.
Autant le 1, j'en ai gardé un très bon souvenir, avec multiples possibilités tout au long du jeu, autant là... Une déception. Non seulement les possibilités nutritive sont amoindries, mais, de plus, certains objets sont difficilement trouvable voire impossible à obtenir. Notamment le miel, que je n'ai pas pu récupérer.
Et cette fin... Le choix est horrible à faire. Il aurait fallut deux fin différentes dans les grandes lignes ! Une fin sur l'île et une fin hors de l'île avec Jep, qui se fait soigner. Enfin bon...

After playing this game all the way through, I kept thinking things were going to get interesting or have that mysterious quality that the first game did, but then the story just went in a weird direction that I just did not like. The puzzles were few and far in between, playing as Jep for some of the story was weirdly irritating, and having a full-fledged scene play (which was un-skippable btw) every time Jep wanted to climb back on Mina's shoulder was taxing. I fully recommend playing this game if you want to see how the Mysterious Island story ends but in terms of playing it again just for the game I would not recommend.
Головоломки прикольные и игра интересная. Показывают больше локаций чем в первой части. Новые механики. Испытал огромную ностальгию. НО концовка полная фигня. Авторы Пытались в моральный выбор но в итоге они заставляют игрока сделать тот выбор который они считают правильным, жестоко наказывая за несогласие. По сути выбор между плохим и очень плохим. Еще и логика начинает под конец хромать. Явно авторы пытались из последних сил натягивать сову на глобус. Выбрал подразумевающуюся плохой концовку просто на зло. Лучше ужасный конец чем ужас без конца.

For Windows 10 a computer restart was needed to get the game to stop lagging. It's not the reason for the thumbs down. (More like a neutral)
I loved the first one and ECHO when little. They still hold up and the puzzles have some logic past click everything together. This game has three issues that make it become a slog to finish.
1. The puzzle design is not so much something to think through. Pretty often it is simply pick up item, walk to other side of map, interact once, walk back and put item back. Because you can't see what the next room has you can't do multiple interactions at once and will walk back and forth. For puzzles in one spot it can be trial and error to find what it wants you to do. One spot you have to learn a language to get the instructions on how to learn the language. It makes sense in story, but is not fun to play.
2. The game is made for early ipad games. A few mini games are required, and a little iphone pops up on screen. It's clear they were not made for mouse.
3. A lot of things in the story just sorta happen. The first game had a good story intertwined with the reason you solve puzzles for game play. This mixed with the constant back tracking makes it hard to tell what you are suppose to pay attention to. Early on a turtle will show up as a precursor to something at the end of the game. The turtle doesn't make sense story wise with the twist end and is never interacted with for game play. Then the game ends in one of two endings, both a bit lack luster.
If you want to experience the last game of a fun studio and have some nostalgia it is worth it. But I recommend playing with a guide open to have a better time.

First game, Return to Mysterious Island, was really good. But not the sequel. More linear, weaker story and just outdated (while first game is okay).
I voted No for this game, and I do like it better than the first, but I don't plan on finishing it, at least not without a guide. I think this is a game with a lot of cool ideas and potential, but it's age, slowness of changing from Jeb to Mina, and the puzzles themselves fall a little flat. I think having the monkey, Jeb, as a separate companion is a cool idea. It's the same island as the previous game, but with some areas changed and expanded upon.
Is there any reason to buy this game? Yes, maybe if it's on sale and you're a game designer that needs to study examples of puzzle games that should be great, but aren't quite there.

как бы сильно я не хотел поставить положительную оценку игре, но момент с тем что у меня закончилась глина, и мне пришлось заново проходить игру, не дает мне это сделать.
В целом игра прикольная но во всем уступает первой части, в середине игры начинается часть где вообще не понимать зачем я делаю то что делаю. как поможет сбор красок для обезьяны мне починить генератор вообще не понятно, становится ясно когда ты уже непосредственно это все сделал

I recommend it for the gameplay because I enjoyed the puzzle mechanics, but I do not recommend it for the story.
Also I fixed the frame rate issues by rebooting my computer? I'm not sure why that fixed it.
Spoilers ahead for why I did not enjoy the story.
[spoiler] There was no "return" to the Island, you never even left! And for some reason, there's aliens?? I enjoyed the story so long as it seemed rooted in reality (beyond the fact that your monkey friend is really good at helping you solve puzzles), but Jep's thoughts being translated via alien machine, and the presence of said alien machine which somehow was protecting the entire island from destruction made me less interested. And the endings were both incredibly sad. If you choose to stay and raise the shield to protect the island, you are stuck there until you die with only monkeys for comfort, and you've lost your phone so you have no way of ever hearing from your friends or family again, and you have no way of letting them know that you're safe. I'm pretty sure in the first game you told your mother you were okay, but now she's left waiting and wondering for her daughter that's never coming home. Sure, you've saved all life on the island which includes plants and some animals that by this point you've become emotionally attached to, and you have a monkey friend, but you're completely isolated, and you might go crazy from isolation. BUT, if you choose the "selfish" ending, which is "Hey I would like to return home to my family," the game punishes you even more! The helicopter gets freaked out by the green mist and just books it, leaving you alone on the island anyway, except now JEP IS DEAD AND YOU BURY HIM IN THE MONKEY BONE CAVE WITH THE GRAVES OF THE OTHER MONKEYS, and now your SOLE COMPANION is gone, and you're stuck on the island anyway, and you might as well raise the freaking shield if it's not too late because otherwise all life on the island will die soon except you, and you'll end up starving to death in days because all the plants and animals have bit the dust, and everything is your fault. What kind of choices are those? Eternal isolation with a monkey with a lifespan much shorter than yours, or isolation that's probably much shorter with no companion at all, and possibly the death of a very small ecosystem?? Both endings left me sobbing. The first game left off at a much better place. You and Jep are rescued by a helicopter, you make it back to your mom, and Jep lives a happy life with you. You can take Jep on adventures to other lovely tropical areas, and all is well. That's where I wish it ended. [/spoiler]

Интересный квест, проходится за 2 часа. Правда может возникнуть проблема с заставками в начале (будет черный экран), решается это просто - заходите в папку с игрой, свойства и поставить галку во вкладе совместимости "отключить оптимизацию во весь экран", после чего корректно будет все ролики показывать и играться.
По мне 1я часть больше нравится, но и в эту стоит поиграть, тем более есть русский язык и озвучка, как в 1й части

I've played the first part 3 times and finally I've finished the second part and the ending broke my heart. Developers are cruel and Mina is cruel in this game. I've got a feeling men where writing her.

Continue your journey on the Lincoln Island in the second instalment of the ''Return to Mysterious Island ''. After unfortunate failure to leave an island you and your monkey friend Jep have to find the alternatives to escape... or maybe this Island in not a bad place to stay for a little bit longer? The choice is yours...
There's some stronger sci-fi elements than the last game which aren't very well-foreshadowed and can seem rather out-of-place, but it's not that out of left field given the rest of Jules Verne's body of work. Besides that, the gameplay, soundtrack, setting, characters, and more are all built upon beautifully from what the previous game established. Moreover, some elements that were merely hinted-at in the previous game come to fruition in this one! If you liked the first one, odds are good you'll like this too!
Jo also ganz ehrlich. für ein spiel aus der Zeit ist es ein ein absolutes Meisterwerk! Man könnte hier von Pionierarbeit sprechen denn dies ist der erste Walking Simulator! ich habe mit Lösungen knapp Sieben Stunden hier verbracht und muss sagen das mir die Synapsten leicht durchgebrannt sind!
Trotz allem gute spiel! würde ich empfehlen.

I am absolutely disappointed at the performance from this game... a PC with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti should not run this game at 10 FPS, and there don't seem to be any graphics settings for the game. I've seen reviews of other games from this publisher (or developer, not sure) that were very bad iPhone ports and this honestly feels like one of them - especially since the first time starting the game I got 2 pop-ups asking about iPhone sync/compatibility/whatever. Note that I have not had these issues with "Voyage", aka. "Journey to the Moon", and I haven't played the first game from Steam yet (played it long ago from CD). Absolute disappointment...
The only saving grace is that I got the game as part of RtMI 1 & 2 bundle while it was on 90% discount, so I really lost very little money.
If you get past its age and lack of animated cutscenes, its an awesome game like the first

Got very near the end but was unable to catch 6 objects thrown at me even using there "easy" variation for a cost of 10 points. This is not a puzzle but a test of reflexes and definitely aimed at gamers. Ultimately I was unable to progress so i had to simply give up. Very disappointing.

I highly recommend the game. Unlike RtMI 1, which runs on Linux ONLY, this game works perfectly on Win 10. Compelling storyline and graphics. I was pleasantly surprised that this game included little to no dialogue and a lot of items to find and combine.

This is a direct sequel to "Return to Mysterious Island" Since first was an adventure game with a set ending, this game picks up where you left , gives a short summary about first game then lets you find your way in the island again.
Technical issues from the first game are gone but still , its stuck to 1024*768 so playing windowed is logical choice. No crash or speed up issues like the first one.
++Gameplay : Collect items, combine them to solve puzzles. There are multiple options and more than one way to achieve same stuff. This time however there are small games. Most of them repeatable so you can always find food etc. Some of them can be annoying till you get the hang of it, fishing for me for example, however there is an easy mode for them if you like. System is good overall, however there were times I wasn't able to see some of the things i had to click on screen.
+Story/setting: Second game pushed a little further on the islands story and it lost some of its "mystery". Still quite original though. Hand drawn comic like panels are nice but few.
+/-Sound/music/Graphics: They are ok for an old game but nothing brilliant.
If you managed to played the first or want a nice small game to pass time by, its good.
Autant j'ai adoré le premier opus, autant celui-ci est beaucoup trop compliqué ou illogique pour certaines énigmes. L'utilisation de solutions est indispensable sur la deuxième partie.

Les énigmes ne sont pas à faire que par les enfants mais plutôt en famille. Sinon, c'est graphiquement beau. Toujours un plaisir de redécouvrir l'île après le premier opus. Si vous aimez les point and click qui ne sont pas simplistes, prenez les deux opus ainsi que le jeu "Voyage au cœur de la lune" créé par la même entreprise (qui a malheureusement coulé).

I don't use this word very often but I feel it is accurate to describe this game: ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. It's especially worse if you've played the first game as it tries to "solve" some of the more elusory details about Mysterious Island 1. Which collects into a compilation of poorly thought out, goofy crap such as a cult of monkeys determining what happens on the island, a secret underground alien facility, some dues ex machina evil gas. And remember those mysterious spires in the first game out on the water? Yeah, apparently that's also some kind of Morrowind-esc ghostgate deal which prevents you from leaving the island because the gas will spread and kill everything. So instead you have to become the next Captain Nemo and stay on the island to safe guard it or leave and watch Jep and everything else on the island die through cowardly inaction. And would you believe this all begins because of some cliche helicopter crash after a magical volcano fireball grounds it?
It's not all bad, though. Still, that almost makes it worse. There's a fun new mini game where you can get Jep to befriend other monkeys on the island by playing music for them, giving them gifts or grooming them. But this is the monkey-cult part of the game. Then you can explore the eastern side of the island. At first, this is a really fun part of the game where you see a whole new region and discover further details about the survivors who landed on Lincoln Island before you. But then you reach a beach which has a whole bunch of weird crap like magical Aztech tablets, instantly growing plants, magic paint and a stone face built into the side of the mountain that pukes out the gas. What I'm getting at is, the game leads you by the lip then punishes you with bullcrap in the last leg of the game. If it was just garbage through and through you could shut the game off fifteen minutes in and not waste your time.
It completely undermines the story and world the first game made by forcibly injecting magic voodoo alien ♥♥♥♥ into it. And who can forget Mina, right? The lovable, sweet, attractive, fit, resourceful curious navigator girl who got stuck in this whole mess? Well, she seems needlessly helpless in this game. I really can't describe it in full detail but I just feel like her character has been nearly assassinated here. Not to mention she's annoying. I don't know if they got her a new voice actress or something but she just feels whiny and condescending a lot of the time. I loved Mina in the first one but here she's just... eh.
I know the first game is supposed to be based of a Jules Vern novel of the same name and I wonder if this is a Game of Thrones type thing where they didn't have any more source material to work with and were creatively bankrupt individuals themselves so they genuinely tried to make something interesting but then ended up painting it all brown.
Anyways, don't play this game. It really isn't worth it especially if you're a fan of the first one, like me.
Co tu powiedzieć, gra robi takie samo wrażenie jak obrazek tytułowy jej. a na obrazku bezczelna "adaptacja" zdjęcia M. Jacksona z szympansem, a tu mamy bohaterkę z małpką.
Generalnie to jakieś wypaczone łamigłówki, jesteś małpą i pomagasz swojej pani przetrwać na wyspie z której w pierwszej części prawie uciekłaś. Scenariusz jak z Trudnych spraw. wszystko fajnie, tylko jest nudno w hoooj. Chodzisz ta małpą i zbierasz ziarenka , szmaty, deski itp miziasz inne małpki albo z nimi się dogadujesz po małpiemu.
Tak samo ta gra denna jak brzmi mój opis jej właśnie, dlatego po 20 minutach już się więcej nie chce. Ale jak gdzieś za free to można sobie popaczeć co to za gamingowy odszczep.
Ale co by nie mówić sama gra i gameplay jest zrobiony ok. Komiksowe cutscenki , scenerie , i całokształt nie odpycha. Po prostu jak się do kupy zbierze co napisałem powyżej i że to straaaasznie daje nudą, to szału nie ma.

it is both charming and beautiful. the characters are likeable, and almost every obstacle has many ways that the player can overcome or bypass them. there is a lot of variety in them, leaving it infinitely replayable as you try alternative paths. Make a salald or burn the weed for soda? bribe the monkeys, or scare them away? there are so many choices.
Terrible puzzles and mini games. This one is almost not an adventure game.
Just like the first one, try to combine a bunch of items together or with the environment until something luckily matches. Items disappear from your inventory that are later required to progress, so I hit a dead end. Both of these games are awful, I don't know how they are so positively reviewed.
Fine adventure game. I enjoyed playing it, but it isn't anything to write home about.
Продолжение первой части стало определенно лишним. Механики все те же, к ним претензий нет (кроме одной упоротой загадки, решение которой приходится смотреть в интернете), а вот сюжет... Я все понимаю, разрабам захотелось драмы, но в таком случае оказалась перечеркнуто все, что было в первой части. Не одобряю.

The game is as good as the first, with some cool new features, such as playing as the monkey, new recipes, new tools and activities.
My only real quibble is that nobody involved in making the game seems to know that bread dough, cake batter, and pie crust are separate substances. Peculiar. Anyway, it's a good game. I have recently learned that the term for castaway stories as a genre is "robinsonade," after Robinson Crusoe, who in turn was based on Alexander Selkirk, a real person. Might even find my way to reading the Jules Verne book these games are based on.
Absolutely amazing game! I played it multiple times and just love puttering about on my little island. What a great get away from a mundane reality. Fantastic!
Aventura gráfica en 1ª persona, continuación directa de Retorno a la Isla Misteriosa, aunque con mayor peso en la alimentación y en las relaciones con la fauna local. También se puede usar a los protagonistas de manera más independiente y además tiene varios finales..., y con todo eso, por algún motivo, parece menos entretenido que su antecesor.
Plus: Schöne Musik, bewegendes Ende. Den Affen gewinnt man lieb.
Minus: Die Geschichte verblasst, weil primär Aufgabe um Aufgabe abzuarbeiten ist.

Lovely point&click adventure game with a good story line, beautiful artwork and good voice acting. Quest/puzzles are mostly relying on your common sense and observation skills so they're no problem. I really enjoyed the RtMI duology.
Désolé mais malgré plusieurs solutions utilisées et des retours en arrière pour tester ces différentes solutions, rien n'y fait. Impossible de terminer ce jeu. Il y a trop de possibilités intermédiaires et de nombreux "cul de sac" qui bloquent la continuité de ce jeu. Pour autant au troisième essai j'ai passé les "cul de sac". Attention donc
На сей раз ностальгического опьянения нет, а потому будем ворчать. У игры много проблем. Прежде всего, технических. Начну, пожалуй, с того, что игра... не запускается, мать её. Точнее, у меня-то запустилась, на удивление, но внутри меня ждало 5 FPS, и решить эту проблему я смог только тем, что запустил игру на своём втором древне-слабом компуктере. Если у вас нет такого же разваливающегося ведра, то можете даже не пытаться поиграть в сие творение. Оно для богоизбранных олдов.
Но внутри меня ждали другие сюрпризы. Многие механики работают криво или непонятно интуитивно. А что-то попросту сломано. И ладно бы это была нога главной героини — с этим челленджом я бы справился, но сломан был, к сожалению, один важный скрипт. На моменте с появлением (в моём случае, непоявлением) обезьяны-художника у меня почему-то ничего не произошло, и место, где должна была возникнуть эту животина, у меня пустовало. Я, как дебил, ломал голову часа 4, думая, что это головоломка, и разведывая буквально каждый уголок острова. Уже подуставший от некоторых прошлых душноватых задачек всё равно шнырял по проклятому острову, пытался соединять несоединямое (акваланг с бананом, ага) и решить-таки эту задачу. Которой на самом деле не было. В какой-то момент я всё-таки сдался и полез в интернет (слава богу, лучше бы раньше поступился принципам). И просто захотел убить гадкую обезьяну, эту творческую душу, которая у меня не объявилась.
Вот такие вот приколы. Это был поворотный момент, который лишил игру шанса на положительную оценку, ведь до этого, несмотря на все косяки, она в принципе мне нравилась. Может, рассказать про неё что-нибудь, а то чё я? Игра, как и первая часть, — олдовый Point&Click квест, где надо решать головоломки, крафтить и блистать эрудицией. Головоломность тут высокая, поднапрячься придётся. Но ещё сильнее придётся напрячься из-за душности некоторых решений. Вот мы на заброшенном острове, нам надо срочно пожрать чтобы выжить, и мы кое-как скрафтили удочку. Но использовать её пока нельзя! Потому что мы ещё не раскрасили поплавок в красный, а это обязательное условие.
И вот вроде появилось несколько приятных новшеств. Мини-игры. Возможность играть за Юпа (подручную обезьянку). Больше взаимодействия с другими обезьянами. Не менее стильные, чем в прошлой части, комиксы-перебивки. Несколько новых весьма интересных мозголомок. Но, честно, всё это уже как-то не впечатляет.
Потому что если прошлый остров был таинственный, то этот остров — задолбавший. Чувствуется вымученность сюжета. Какой-то вроде нагруженный, но при этом незапоминающийся фантастический лор. Это как "[b]Чужой 4[/b]" — вроде возвращение, но такой натянутый бред без прежней атмосферы.
Да, на самом деле, тут классно можно размять извилины, лучше чем во многих других игро-квестах, в этом есть своё удовольствие и кайф от выполнения, но технические косяки заставляют негативить. Хотя концовка, отмечу, таки эмоциональная, тронуло даже мою раздраженную душу.
Однако на минусы закрыть глаза невозможно в данном случае. Пусть бы остров лучше так и оставался таинственным.

Ein genauso tolles Click-and-Point-Adventure wie der erste Teil mit wunderschöner Grafik und kniffligeren Rätseln als im ersten Teil.
Auch der immer wieder anfallende Wechsel zwischen Mina und ihrem Affen Jep, die einige Orte nur getrennt von einander aufsuchen können, fand ich eine tolle Idee. (Obwohl es teilweise schon haarsträubend ist, was der Affe alles können muss. XD )
Allerdings gibt es zwei Punkte, die mich persönlich etwas genervt haben:
1. Das Nachspielen von Melodien. Das war für mich ohne Lösung kaum möglich. Und jedes Mal, wenn ich die Lösung gesehen habe, hätte ich schwören können, dass ich genau diese Möglichkeit schon versucht hatte.
2. Das Freundlich-Stimmen der Affen. Dabei sind einige Affen fast schon absurd wählerisch.

Без проблем запустилась на Win10, сильно тупанул посреди игры, выдул стеклянную колбу и додумался налить в нее синюю краску, очистить от нее не смог ! новую сделать не смог, т.к. не смог найти еще угля, позже не смог набрать в нее газ, помогло переодическое сохранение и откат на пол игры. Может баг, может просто не додумался как очистить колбу от краски.

The first game is fun but this is a truly awful experience.
The first big problem is that there are huge frame rate issues; the game is ancient and my card isn't, but I'm lucky to get 10fps in RtMI2.
The second big problem is the gameplay itself. Some of it is fine, much of it is terrible. This is labeled as a puzzle game, but most of the gameplay is in fact not puzzle-based, its mostly tedious minigames which more often than not require split second reaction clicking. The developers seem to have been obsessed with shoving as many truly awful minigames as they could into this thing.
Example 1: Whereas in the first game you can make a whole collection of pottery with a few clicks, and use the whole collection as a single inventory item to collect things which require containers, this game makes you play a minigame just to craft each individual clay container; and then it makes you micromanage those individual containers in your inventory.
Example 2: Despite being full of terrible minigames, this is still the type of game where every item in your inventory could be vital to advancing to the next stage of the game, and yet there are a couple of instances where you get surprised by a monkey stealing items from your inventory, and have to play a minigame (requiring split second reaction clicking, of course) to keep those items it's trying to steal; the items it tries to steal are random, so you could potentially lose items that would brick your playthrough if you don't have them.
To much switching back and forth between Mina and the Monkey....got old fast
You can easily get soft-locked in this game, so make regular saves and in multiple files.
Other than that, it is a nice follow up to the first game.

10/10 Отличная головоломка. Единственный минус, так это то, что игра заставляет повторять много одинаковых последовательностей. Терпение в помощь! Пройти на одном дыхании, как по мне, невозможно. Однако, сюжет и азарт разгадки, будет заставлять вас думать об этой игре в свободное время. Рекомендую.
Pros: You get to play as the monkey, which adds a few more interesting puzzles
Cons: The story is less compelling and the puzzles are even more obtuse than the first game. Also, it's possible to still make several hours of progress AFTER unknowingly putting the game in an unwinnable state. It's actually pretty easy to softlock - I found quite a few people complaining about it when I went looking for solutions.
UPDATE: I hex-edited my save so that I could get past the softlock. The endings weren't worth it.
Nem gondoltam, hogy ugyanott fog játszódni mint az első rész (bár a címéből épp lehetett volna :), de aztán teljesen jó volt így. Jóval szebb is mint az első rész, és igen hosszú is. Egy ideig magamtól játszottam, aztán pár hónapra abbahagytam (bizonyára elakadtam valahol), most végül leírásokkal, de befejeztem (főként mert megvettem akciósan a Room 4-et és végre az jön :) A 3. harmada sokkal "történetesebb" mint a 2/3-ig, mintha már egy 3. részt akartak volna csinálni(?). Win10 x64 alatt tökéletesen ment, a monitoron kell csak 4:3-ra venni az ascpect ratio-t, hogy helyes legyen a kép. Már ingyen is osztogatják, érdemes kipróbálni.
I highly recommend the first game as the story line will make more sense but they do have a recap.From what I've played of this i love it, maybe even more than the first one, it has mini games unlike the first one and you get to play as Minas side companion Jep making it, in my opinion, far more enjoyable and exciting to play. Would recommend for people who love adventure and puzzle games or anyone who just wants to play something fun :D

I had this game on iPad a few years back and really enjoyed it. Was pleased to see it in Steam. It's just difficult enough to challenge you without being so hard or so easy that it bores you.
Nice attempt to make a solid quest with decent puzzles. Some of them are great to solve but some of them just required illogical combination of inventory. I did read all notes and did attempt usual logical combinations even without knowing what it might give. Still, some of them made me crazy of not being able to find, say, 4th ingredient out of 4 without reading the walkthrough and then scratching my head how on Earth I was supposed to find it myself.
Plot is fairly standard without any twists at all, perhaps, apart from transition from 1st part of the sequel to the 2nd one. And about the ending... I'm not spoiling here, so let's nominate one ending "good" and one "bad" by the quite obvious game designers intentions.
Then, I can only say that I surely cannot be named an animal lover, especially if an animal in question is a monkey, and is not very cute monkey, as for my taste. So, not being hooked by the game's animal loving line, I did not actually find a choice of the ending decision to be so morally difficult as the game attempted to present. Instead I did my best to act as a realistic good-willing person would likely to do in these circumstances in attempt to rescue herself, while in the same time doing her best to spare as much on this island as possible. What sort of ending that would be then? (still no spoilers...) Ok, the game design didn't let me to follow my "likely realistic" ending scenario but I'm sure that in reality, the protagonist would first attempt to proceed with "bad" ending (remember, I told you I'm not an animal lover?), but then after seeing it as not evolving to the hopes, triggering mid-way the decision to execute "good" ending, at least to prevent immediate disaster and taking some decent time to think and find better solution for practically workable rescue. After all, the triggering decision seems to be fairly reversible, I didn't find any contradiction in the plot preventing to make the second attempt from the events of "bad" ending. What would be the motivation of any sane person to stop short of further action and confine herself in "bad" ending? Perhaps, some deep depressive mental health condition or suicidal desire? Anyway, Mina seems to be very far from that sort of mindset. Reality check is not passed here.
Of course, my "realistic" ending would not end up same good as "good" one but hold on a second... thinking realistically again, should we even name that "good" ending as good? I'm in big doubts. Following the story of the island colonists and captain Nemo himself, I cannot consider Mina's fate to be actually good then. So, in reality "good" is not good and "bad" doesn't end up all in bad. Game designers apparently over-engineered in their attempt of delivering a moral dilemma, which actually happened to be a non-issue. But the mere fact that I'm sitting and writing this "Hollywood vs Reality" essay, speaks by itself that the game is still good enough (without double-quotes!) for playing and enjoying its puzzles.

Ну это просто моё детство, жаль что игр в таком жанре уже мало осталось и те кто в них играет по словам школьников СТАРЫЕ БАБКИ КОТОРЫМ НЕЧЕМ ЗАНЯТСЯ, боже, молокосос у которого ещё молоко вокруг губ не обсохло, не оскорбляй одну из самых прикольных игр, с офигеным сюжетом, ты либо иди дальше в фортнайт иди задроть и воруй дальше у мамки бабки на скины, либо притуши свою хлеборезку, кхм, чет сбился с мысли, игра до сих пор интересна, я с радостью прошёл бы её заново, жаль ток что в стиме нет достижений для неё, когда найдёшь юпа у тебя было бы написано на пол экрана, mmm, mokey, хах, я бы на такое посмотрел, всем рекомендую для лампового прохождения.
Испортили игру полностью. Теперь у нас супер умная обезьяна, которой Мина раздает указания, а та бегает и их исполняет, при этом собирая всякий хлам выполняя дурацкие мини игры по типа собери 10 муравьев, расколи 10 орешков. Вариативность сократилась в разы. Пытался отогнать змею, не мог найти способ, прочитал проходилку, оказывается обезьяна должна сигать мелодию на окарине (таком примитивном музыкальном инструменте). Просто фейспалм! Короче нет желания играть в этот бред разработчиков.
This is a game with a lot of nostalgic value for me, and I was pleasantly surprised to find it as good as I remember! It's definitely worth getting this one and the first; most of the puzzles are easy enough to be fun but challenging enough to feel rewarding. Definitely recommend!
Une horreur totale.
Pourtant ça commençait bien.
J'ai l'habitude des jeux comme Myst et Syberia mais alors là ça devient ridicule.
Des énigmes qui ne veulent rien dire, des objets qui disparaissent de votre inventaire...
Et même en cherchant les solutions sur internet j'ai abandonné tellement c'est un grand n'importe quoi.
Les deux épisodes achetés à 1€49... ça ne les vaut franchement pas.

Not as good as the first game. Too many obscure puzzles, and the mystical aspect in debatable if you're a fan of Jules Verne's work. The only redeeming aspect was the emotion the ending choice brought me.
Отличная игра, но очень серьезная проблема с оптимизацией, Запустил на более менее нормальном ПК, тормозила как cyberpank после анонса, а запустил на стареньком ноуте, полетела!
По поводу геймплея в целом, первая мне нравится намного больше, нет корявой анимации, да и графон как-то приятней. Короче решать вам, конечно, а я ставлю лойс
