Puzzle Dimension provides probably 100 levels of very smart and intelligent puzzle design. Because of its 3D environments you really need to plan your path well.

You are a ball that rolls around pre-determined maps where you collect flowers. Once you've collected all of the flowers the end level portal opens up. Maps start out very simple where you can move from one path block to another. As you proceed further into the game you will find hidden blocks, spikes, icy blocks where you can't stop, quick sand blocks where you can only jump over another block, and more. Eventually flowers are on both sides of the playing field, meaning you need to find ways to get to the "upside down" area of the map, basically flipping the level.

The trick is that gravity is still very real so jump without a block beneath you means you fall to your death, but fall just right and you may land on a block. What appears simple at first becomes quite tricky towards the end and really gives you those ah ha moments when you finally realize the path you need to take to get the last flower or to finish the level.

The graphics are perfect for this type of game, and you even get to choose your type of block design. Changing it mid-game can take some getting used to as you try to figure out which ones are ice blocks and so on, but it provides some variety, but is unnecessary and does not alter the game in any way.

The music and sounds are decent enough that I never got annoyed with the music, and the sounds of the ball rolling were actually pretty good as sometimes it really does sound like a metal ball rolling on hard ice.

Achievements are fairly easy outside of the fact that the game itself is pretty hard, but if you can finish the levels you will get all of the achievements except for the points achievements. Points are given for collecting flowers, but blocks start out pixelated in the level. As you roll adjacent to other blocks, they are unpixelated and that counts for points. After enough points you will get combo points up to 32x, meaning each block unpixelated is 32x the point value as when you start the level from scratch. The trick here is that you need momentum to get to 32x so you have quickly get there or else a timer slowly reduces the potential for you to reach the next combo score. This is to say that some of the achievements are not easy to obtain.

However, if you like leaderboards, you can pursue points for that as well outside of the goal of unlocking achievements. I'm not sure at how well the leaderboards work, but they are there none the less with not too many that appear to have cheated, but those that did are pretty obvious.

If you like puzzle games I highly recommend this game. I played it a long time ago and picked it back up to finish and get 100% achievements, and I was just as entrenched in this game as I was the first time. It's quite good and again very well designed to keep you mind bending.

マップが３Ｄになっていて視点の変更が多く、びっくりするほど酔います。それにストレスもたまる。全体を俯瞰した視点にできるけど、その視点では自機を動かせない。全体を俯瞰した状態でプレイさせてほしいです。または「一手戻る」をさせて欲しい。見えない床もストレスです。ただでさえ分かりにくいゲームなのになぜ見えなくするのか。しかも、見えないブロックの道の途中で本当の空白（乗ると落ちる）がある。カメラ視点から切り替えるときにもいちいち視点を変えてきてさらに酔うし、まったくおすすめできません。

A solid and challenging puzzle game, Puzzle Dimension is a game that, for almost 2/3rds of the time I spent playing it, I had no complaints whatsoever. Eventually, the annoyance of the camera managed to become a complaint, and I do have a minor gripe with how there's a score achievement, but it's a bit of a pain to work out what levels have what scores, which kind of makes it a pain in the ass - but otherwise, it's honestly really good fun. Graphics are excellent, sound design is spot on, levels are well put-together and well engineered to take advantage of the mechanics - which themselves are added incrementally with enough time for you to get to know them before pushing into more difficult levels. I have almost no complaints, and for such a low price, I was honestly amazed with how good this product was. Play it.

This game has screwed my mind, but in a good way. When I started browsing Steam's store and beholding a confusing world of game options I'd have never thought existed before then, this is one that landed in my crosshairs.

It's simple and spectacular and a game above all else with a surreal premise and no explanation - a true early-to-mid-2000's zeitgeist game despite it being listed here on Steam as of 2010, supposedly.

The premise is as simple as it looks. You roll, you jump, you try to clear the floor, and there are bonus options for a better score. A return of a game-curious non-gamer's game for which simply the premise of what you were controlling and how mattered in a big way for making the game experience- and me, I liked, and wanted - I still like and want, to be honest - the satisfaction of rolling a giant ball around.

For simplicity and a return to what was on the OfficeMax shelves back when Linkin Park and Green Day were picking up Steam, I recommend Puzzle Dimension.

The age of this game is definitely evident. But this was one of the first puzzle games I played almost 10 years ago. Revisited it recently and was pleasantly surprised by the well crafted and fun level design. The only major negative is the controls suck. And the music isn't the best so this is one I shuffled discovery on Youtube and played finding new artists. Very nice!

Nesse jogo temos 100 niveis onde basicamente, você deve usar a esfera para andar sobre os cubos, e descobrir como pegar todas as flores. Pelo preço, o jogo dura bastante até, cada mundo tem seu design e mecanicas próprias, o porém é que, apesar de bem intencionado por dar 100 fases, o jogo depois de um tempo fica enjoativo, uma vez que mesmo mudando um pouco as mecanicas, basicamente é sempre o mesmo objetivo.

well finally decide finish this game , bought long ago and well here I go. this game is really good. The solutions can take time and get the achivement of points can be hard.. or will be hard if I not say this first, focus in get all the blocks first, and then the flowers so you get more points. Beware of places that you can't go back but except for that is all good.

Give it a try if like puzzles and spatial memory.

I was reminiscing about an old PlayStation game I used to love called Kula World which lead me to this. Definitely has the spiritual successor to Kula World feel.
Strange thing is that I couldn't buy it on Steam as there was no purchase button but I bought a code from the Humble Store.

Puzzle game qui demandera au joueur un bon skill en vision 3D dans l'espace.

Le but est simplement d'emmener sa boule au portail de sortie du niveau, lequel ne s'ouvrira que lorsque vous aurez récolté tous les tournesols. Le joueur contrôle la balle en la faisant rouler dans les 4 directions et en la faisant sauter (d'une case). Il y a évidemment des pièges sur le sol, cases où l'on ne peut pas changer de direction une fois dessus, cases où l'on ne peut passer qu'une seule fois, etc... Si les premiers niveaux sont assez simples voir simplistes, les énigmes se corsent rapidement et vers la fin c'est très difficile de s'orienter tellement les labyrinthes peuvent être complexes.

Au final, 100 niveaux, 17h pour les finir, les énigmes sont très bien pensées et ne sont pas trop répétitives. La musique est à chier, il n'y a que 4 environnements différent, et faut vraiment aimer se creuser la cervelle. Sinon, c'est génial.

The principle of Puzzle Dimension is simple: As a golden marble you roll through 100 levels and collect sunflowers. So that the brain cells get something to do, you roll through 3D labyrinths made up of lots of small fields. These squares take on all sorts of shapes, each with a specific, logical effect. Spikes destroy your own ball just like flaming grill fields. Crumbling platforms crumble when you roll over them and on ice fields the gold marble automatically slides in one direction. So when you are beamed into the respective level, you have to think about it first. The first puzzles are solved in no time, but soon you have to brood for a while until you have found the right way through the 3D structure.

Das Prinzip von Puzzle Dimension ist simpel: Als goldene Murmel kullert man durch 100 Levels und sammelt Sonnenblumen auf. Damit die Gehirnzellen aber auch ordentlich was zu tun bekommen, rollt man durch 3D-Labyrinthe die aus lauter kleinen Feldern aufgebaut sind. Diese Vierecke nehmen allerlei Formen an, jede mit einem bestimmten, logischen Effekt. Stacheln zerstören die eigene Kugel ebenso, wie etwa flammende Grill-Felder. Bröckelige Plattformen zerbröseln wenn man darüber rollt und auf Eisfeldern rutscht die Goldmurmel automatisch in eine Richtung. Wenn man also in den jeweiligen Level gebeamt wird, ist erstmal Nachdenken angesagt. Die ersten Puzzles sind noch im Nu gelöst, doch schon bald brütet man erstmal einige Zeit, bis man den richtigen Weg durch die 3D-Struktur gefunden hat.

A great puzzle game - very smooth learning curve, greatly satisfying feeling after each level.
There are a few puzzles that can be frustrating (those I call "lottery levels" - you have many paths that look equivalently good, but only a specific combination of them is successful) but they are far and few. Mostly the levels require a bit of trial and error and a good deal of planning ahead - and implementing your planned run and seeing it succeed is very rewarding :)

Smooth graphics and ambient music to go with. Truly a bargain for its low price.

A wonderful mix of planning, exploring, puzzling out what went wrong the previous attempt, thinking out of the box and a great sense of achievement with each and every level that you get through. The difficulty seems just right, there is not a single unfair level, and even 3dimensionally challenged people like me can wrap their heads around the more involved stages. Asthetically pleasing, relaxing, challenging... A perfect game.

I strongly recommend you use the second tileset, the others can be too dark for you to see what you need to see at some angles.

Just a note to start that this particular review is a little more price-dependent than I usually factor in. If it cost just a few dollars more, I'd have a hard time recommending this game to anyone who wasn't as much of a puzzle junkie as I am, but at a base cost of $3, not to mention if it ever goes on sale, if you're interested in it, you might as well give it a go.

I was really pleasantly surprised at how engaging the puzzles in this game are. The concept is deceptively simple, but with just a handful of small gimmicks and twists, puzzles get fairly complex fairly quickly. Puzzle Dimension is a fair few hours of solid puzzling.

That said, I can't recommend the game *entirely* unqualified: the game doesn't quite have the level of polish nor artistic expressiveness from the devs that I usually look for in a recommendation. The menus are bog-standard, "let me click through this as quick as I can because it's kind of unpleasant to be on this screen" in their style. You can use a mouse in the menus, but the cursor doesn't change which menu option is highlighted, and clicking selects the currently-highlighted menu option, not the option the cursor is over; let's just say I was very confused for a second when I first booted the game and tried to adjust the settings. Controls for gameplay are unresponsive and have a frustrating lag, especially the jump: if you're moving one direction, then want to start jumping in a different direction, you need to make sure you've come to a full (or at least nearly full stop) before pressing the new direction and the jump button, otherwise you'll be sent off jumping the same direction you were originally moving, often leading you to fall off the stage and have to restart the level from the beginning. Puzzle Dimension really doesn't have an emphasis on speed, so most of the time this isn't a major problem, but it's frustrating to be getting into the flow of solving a puzzle only to be booted back to the start for something that wasn't your fault.

The less-than-stellar presentation doesn't remove from the extremely-solid core, though, and you can get a good amount of solid puzzling from this game.

JUST BUY IT ALREADY. Don't believe me? Play the demo, if you don't like it then it's on you and your lack of appreciation of your own intelligence.

This is puzzle design at its best. A handful of tiles unfolds in an unbeliveable variety of puzzles that will make you rewire your brain cells. The contextual gravity mechanic gives this game its soul.

It's a steal even at full price, so if you are not a puzzle player but ever now and then think about giving the genre a chance, look no further, puzzle dimension will make you a puzzle fan.

This is a game where puzzles are not an inconvenience that interrupts the natural flow of the game or the story. In this game the puzzles ARE the game itself and the story is the story about how you work your way through a mind bending series of challenges.

При взгляде со стороны может показаться, что Puzzle Dimension — это Kula World, только в более высоком разрешении. Примерив на себя роль таинственного металлического шара, Вы должны на некотором абстрактном уровне, состоящем из однотипных блоков, собрать все подсолнухи, после чего нырнуть в открывшийся портал, который отправит Вас на следующий этап, где Вы повторите всё то же самое. Если с Kula World Вы знакомы не понаслышке, то не узнаете из вышесказанного ничего решительно нового, разве что самую малость смутит ничем не обусловленная замена ключей на подсолнухи при сохранении их первоначального смысла. Сам же играбельный мячик по-прежнему может делать только две вещи: катиться и прыгать через одну клетку. Всё разнообразие игровых ситуаций всецело проистекает из обстановки, в которую попадает шарообразный протагонист. На Вашем пути к победе встанут десятки различных платформ, смешанных в самые безумные комбинации! Ваш круглый подопечный будет скользить по ледяным блокам, застревать в песчаных блоках, сгорать заживо на мангалоблоках, проваливаться сквозь переключаемые блоки, разваливаться на части от игольчатых блоков — это лишь малый перечень проблем, которые не позволят Вам пройти игру за пару вечеров. Но ключевой особенностью игры остаётся возможность закатываться на отвесные стены и переворачивать вместе с этим всю окружающую действительность, и на этом моменте появляется первое серьёзное расхождение с оригинальной игрой 1998 года.

Перво-наперво, уровни состоят теперь не из кубических блоков, а из плоских, что резко сужает просторы для пространственного платформинга, поскольку вместо шести граней Вам будут доступны только две, что зачастую обыгрывается так: Вы сначала осматриваете на предмет подсолнухов внутреннюю сторону этапа, после, перекрутив гравитацию, попадаете на внешнюю его сторону и также её изучаете во всех деталях, после чего думаете над тем, как же добраться до спасительного портала. Но не всё так просто! Замена кубических блоков на плоские развязала разработчикам руки и позволила ставить платформы по отношению друг к другу не только под прямыми углами, но и под любыми другими, благодаря чему уровни стали выглядеть очень необычно. Из этого следует второе отличие от оригинала — протагонист может закатываться только на малый угол. Но всё сказанное ранее — это пока простая теория, потому как на практике начинаются самые настоящие чудеса.

Игра состоит в общей сложности из сотни уровней, разбитых на десять тематических сборников по десять этапов в каждом, причём тематики не ограничиваются введением в игровой процесс какой-то новой фичи либо демонстрацией платформы нового типа, но также могут акцентировать внимание на одной из ключевых механик. Что важно отметить, новые подборки открываются с небольшим опережением, потому Вам совсем не обязательно проходить все уровни строго по порядку, благо наскучивший сборник всегда можно будет переключить на свежеоткрытый. Однако меня смутила одна маленькая, но существенная деталь: визуальная обстановка не зависит от выбранной подборки. Вы просто в самом начале выбираете полюбившийся скин и играете до тех пор, пока от него не начнёт тошнить. Если Вы играли в Kula World совсем недавно и всё ещё хорошо помните тамошнее управление, то первое, что Вы сделаете в Puzzle Dimension, — это упадёте в пропасть. Дело в том, что разработчики кардинально переосмыслили реакцию главного героя на нажатие клавиш. Вот как было раньше? Вы нажимаете вперёд — мяч катится вперёд, Вы нажимаете вправо/влево — мяч поворачивается направо/налево. Классическое танковое управление. В Puzzle Dimension же мяч будет катиться туда, куда Вы ему скажете, даже в сторону экрана. Поворачивать камеру придётся вручную с помощью правого стика, что иногда создаёт небольшие трудности с ориентацией в пространстве, поскольку у игры только четыре фиксированные стороны света.

Поначалу игра полностью лишена сложности. Ни ограничений по времени, ни ограничений по жизням, ни свойственного Kula World ограничения по очкам. В игре даже нет как явления врагов, вынуждающих искать обходные маршруты либо надеяться на собственные платформенные навыки. Наличие бесконечных жизней позволяет просто форсировать сложные уровни и выискивать логику в их прохождении методом проб и ошибок. Но уже на шестой подборке Вы заметите, что всё чаще и чаще начинаете заново, а на подступах к восьмому сборнику так и вовсе рискуете впервые встрять на каком-нибудь из уровней. Волей-неволей придётся вникнуть хотя бы в базовые законы и механики, по которым живёт игра.

В плане дополнительного контента игра насыщенностью не блещет. Kula World мог похвастаться и бонусными этапами, и секретными, и режимами дополнительными, и возможностью посоревноваться на скорость и качество прохождения с другом, и мега-сложным режимом. Puzzle Dimension в свою очередь не припас ни одного козыря, способного увлечь не на одно прохождение... Но нет, один всё-таки припас. Помимо сбора подсолнухов, в игре можно заниматься ещё депикселизацией окружающего мира. Хотя, правильнее бы звучало "девокселизацией", поскольку уровни изначально состоят из объёмных пикселей, но разработчикам виднее. Процесс депикселизации довольно прост и незатейлив — геройский мяч катается по уровню и обращает в красивое 3D всё вокруг себя в радиусе одной клетки, включая диагонали. Таким образом Вы должны прощупать весь уровень, чтобы он преобразился целиком. Проблема кроется в том, что сбор подсолнухов далеко не всегда подразумевает прохождение героем по каждой клетке очередного этапа, из-за чего приходится осознанно усложнять самому себе маршрут. А учитывая, сколько всякой гадости и мерзости не даёт нормально выполнить даже основную миссию по сбору подсолнухов, опциональную депикселизацию вполне можно причислить к форме мастеринга игры. Тем более, единственная награда, которую Вы получите за успешное преображение всего мира Puzzle Dimension, является банальной ачивкой в сервисе цифровой дистрибуции... В общем, обычная самоцель для тех, кому игра прямо очень понравилась.

Да, практической пользы от депикселизации никакой, зато эстетической... Не став привязывать сей гиммик ни к чему сугубо геймплейному, разработчики пошли другим путём и связали его с... музыкой. Разумеется, от игры, не только наследующей традиции Kula World в самом лучшем смысле того слова, но и разрабатываемой одним из её ключевых первосоздателей, я не мог не надеяться на возвращение в качестве игровых композиторов группы Twice a Man. Увы, этого не произошло, и композиторское сиденье занял Йонас Хеллберг. Свою работу он выполнил на "отлично", однако вынужден признать, что ожидания мои не совсем оправдались. Вместо густой и потусторонней музыки, коей был известен Kula World, предстоит слушать теперь воздушно лёгкие и, пожалуй, достаточно рядовые мелодии. "Но как всё это состыковывается с депикселизацией?" — спросите Вы. Всё просто. Звуковой фон на этапах изначально стилизован под чиптюн, и, по мере преображения уровня, музыка будет постепенно терять свою писклявость и обогащаться новыми инструментами. Причём процесс будет проходить не рывками, а плавно, т.ч. за игровым процессом Вы рискуете даже не заметить подмены, но стоит проиграть — резкий возврат музыки к первозданному звучанию остро ударит по ушам.

Вердикт: не Kula World 2, но определённо Kula World 1,75. В меру хорошая головоломка, которая с целью разнообразить геймплей выкрутила собственную механику по упора, создав в рамках общей идеи впечатляющее количество различных игровых ситуаций, однако приятных мелочей в ней стало поменьше. В любом случае, пройти её от корки до корки окажется не так просто, благо к определённому моменту игра перестаёт сюсюкаться с игроком, потому если хочется бросить своему мозгу вызов — Puzzle Dimension окажется отличным подспорьем для этого.

Для своей цены очень качественная пространственная головоломка. Хоть конечно и не Mercury. Очень не хватает порой фишек с вращением камеры во время прохождения. Всё строго под углом 90 градусов. Но головоломка вполне норм - красивая, русский язык есть, достижения, облачное сохранение, поддержка контроллера. Но скучновато порой в это играть. Нет соревновательного духа, как в Mercury Meltdown и других логических игр на консолях. Здесь всё как-то монотонно. Но за такую цену не могу поставить неуд... Так что покупайте и шевелите мозгами время от времени.

Non fatevi ingannare da Puzzle Dimension, dalle immagini sembra uno di quei giochi in cui si comanda liberamente una sfera (come Kororinpa, Monkey Ball o simili) lungo un percorso, invece no, è un puzzle game a caselle in cui al posto della sfera poteva esserci qualsiasi altra cosa.

Detto questo, lo scopo del gioco è, muovendosi/saltando di casella in casella, raccogliere dei fiori e raggiungere l'uscita. Ci sono 100 livelli suddivisi in 10 mondi, nei quali vengono man mano introdotte nuove meccaniche come la sabbia, i teletrasporti, gli interruttori, le caselle scivolose, friabili e via dicendo, con gli ultimi mondi che presentano un mix di un po' tutto quanto.
Non tutte le meccaniche sono ugualmente riuscite, le caselle invisibili ad esempio sono molto noiose perché non si vedono (ovviamente) finché non si è vicini.
I livelli si possono anche ruotare con una telecamera abbastanza rigida, cambiando così l'alto con il basso e dando vita a ingegnose soluzioni in cui buttarsi di sotto per atterrare su una casella dall'altra parte o roba simile, le inquadrature e la prospettiva spesso non sono un granché ed è difficile capire bene.

Oltre a questo c'è anche uno strano sistema di punti con un moltiplicatore che sale in base alla velocità con cui… "depixeliamo" le varie caselle avvicinandoci, cosa che non serve assolutamente a niente tranne a una classifica online che non si vede nemmeno nel gioco, ma solo tramite Steam.

La curva di difficoltà invece è abbastanza ripida, specie da metà gioco in poi, con diversi livelli in cui la soluzione è una e una sola, non c'è alcuna libertà di movimento o di tentativi: si deve seguire l'esatto percorso pensato dagli sviluppatori dalla prima all'ultima azione, e se per sbaglio si rompe una casella che sarebbe tornata utile più avanti, si deve rifare tutto da capo (posto che ci si renda conto di dov'era l'errore).
Comunque, gli altri livelli permettono un minimo di improvvisazione, e sono di certo i più riusciti e piacevoli da giocare, anche se finiscono con l'essere tutti abbastanza ripetitivi dopo un po'.

Graficamente fa il suo lavoro ma non è troppo originale (ci sono dei temi aggiuntivi da sbloccare, volendo), e il sonoro è invece composto da un paio di tracce elettroniche stile Megaman per NES, parecchio azzeccate. Come longevità siamo attorno alla dozzina di ore, ma dipende molto da quante mezz'ore decidete di far passare tentando inutilmente di capire la soluzione di alcuni livelli ostici prima di arrendervi e di guardare una guida.
Un titolo discreto per gli appassionati di questo genere di puzzle, che pur diventando frustrante in alcune occasioni regala livelli cervellotici e soddisfacenti quanto basta.

За что мы любим головоломки? Я считаю, что за их сложность (если мозги хоть чуть-чуть начинают напрягаться - уже неплохо) и хорошую реализацию. Так вот, Puzzle Dimension точно можно считать отличной головоломки. Сложные уровни, при этом с простой идеей (довести шарик до портала, попутно собрав все подсолнухи), классная картинка, расслабляющая музыка, низкая цена. Русский язык и достижения также присутствуют. Что еще нужно?

To start at the end - Puzzle Dimension is easily the best navigation puzzle game I've ever played. Simple as that.

If you look at the abundance of puzzle games created in the last ten years, you'll find plenty in all categories, if you categorize like "navigation", "construction", etc. If you categorize like "2D" and "3D" - well, you'll find hardly any in the latter category. It's not hard to see why - creating good puzzles in 3D is much tougher than in 2D, you need much more serious testing to make sure your wonderful levels don't have some silly loophole that reduces the 15-minute brain-whacking challenge to a 2-minute walkover, and since 3D puzzles are inherently more complicated than 2D puzzles, your game will be much less casual, which seriously reduces your potential audience. So from this aspect, going for a serious 3D puzzle game may look like a silly decision. And what do you call people who make such kind of silly decisions? YMMV, but I call them "heroes of the gaming industry".

Doctor Entertainment took no prisoners with Puzzle Dimension. After the first few levels, it was obvious that the game was created by people with rich craftmanship in puzzle games, people who knew the rulebook well but didn't constrain themselves by it. You're guiding a ball in the game, which can roll (move 1 square), jump (move 2 squares) and later be catapulted (move 3 squares). Your objective is to collect sunflowers on levels that consist of squares, and additionally, you may want to affect (pixelate) all squares for a bonus objective. The squares can connect to each other in a single plane, but they also can connect with 45-degree deviation, which means after two steps you're perpendicular to your previous position, and after four steps you're upside down. The gravity is always related to the square you're on, so you won't fall - but you can jump / roll off, and if there's no square under you, you're dead. This set of rules enables the creatiion of horrenduously complicated levels, and later in the game, there'll be some.

Puzzles start out in a gentle manner, but starting from level 4 or 5, they're not quite obvious. New mechanics are introduced about every five levels - you generally have one simple level to experiment with your new block type, and then there are four more medium headscratchers. That goes on until level 50 (or the first five clusters), then you have two thematic clusters - #6 is called Bends, which showcases the 3D connection method I outlined in the previous paragraph, and gives a teaser of what will come in the last two clusters. Then #8 (revisited) is a kind of remix of earlier levels, big, sprawling and hugely enjoyable puzzles. Non-hardcore puzzle players should consider to stop here...
... because the last two clusters feel more like tactical warfare than a puzzle game. As the conclusion of the game, you get 20 puzzles you need to explore thoroughly, and think about your completion strategy, as you might paint yourself in a corner with your first step already. These levels took quite serious time and effort, but the level of satisfaction gained is massively superior to almost any other game I played. There's no navigation puzzle game that ever came close, and in the entire puzzle "universe", only SpaceChem was better. When I completed the last level (after forty-odd minutes of wrestling with a level that felt like a bona fide roguelike game), it did feel like a huge victory.

Presentation is also worth a few words. The game looks pretty enough with the initial pixelated look, but when you affect the squares, they turn into very nice hi-res blocks. There are four visual themes available (they unlock as you progress), and all of them are beautiful. Sound design is also excellent, with the ball clattering on standard blocks, scraping on ice, or the catapult (spring) blocks making huge noise when launching the ball. The music rounds out the experience nicely.

All in all, it's not too tall to say that Puzzle Dimension is as perfect a navigation puzzle game as it's possible to come close to perfection. I spent more than 15 hours solving its puzzles, and that contained no silly cutscenes and no time wasting. This game stands head and shoulders above the other entrants in its category - if you're looking for a brainy challenge on the PC, this game will surely deliver. Most recommended.

Uno dei tanti puzzle game, con una buona grafica, meccaniche basilari e se non altro qualche momento stimolante nella comprensione della mappa, in cui la rotazione e il cambio della prospettiva sono il maggior spunto d'interesse.

Il problema è che nelle mappe avanzate bisogna fare ESATTAMENTE il percorso come l'hanno studiato i programmatori, altrimenti bisogna ripetere tutto dall'inizio, il che non è il massimo.
I comandi reagiscono abbastanza bene.

Giochino tipo i puzzle-game dei cellulari, da giocare non più di 5 minuti alla volta, perchè non ha evoluzione di gameplay ed è sempre più o meno la stessa minestra. Fredda.

Kula World anyone?

A very unassuming, yet enjoyable marble-rolling 3D puzzler. I tend to forget it's there, then go back to it and go "oh hey, I forgot this was pretty neat!" - You basically roll around the level with the aim to collect all of the sunflowers to unlock the exit. Why a ball need sunflowers is anybody's guess... But screw it, it looks nice.

The challenge, of course, is in the myriad of tiles introduced along the way. Some collapse after you have used them once, others have spikes that can be deactivated with a switch... and the classic: Ice which keeps you rolling in the same direction - often off the edge of the board.

But this is only half the challenge. When rolling over curved blocks, your orientation and gravity shift with it too, adding a neat dynamic to the game. Sometimes the only way to reach a certain spot above you is to roll around so that it ends up below you, allowing gravity to do its thing. Add into this the regular additions of new blocks, and this makes for a decent puzzler that picks up difficulty pretty nicely - many levels often needing a few attempts to fully crack. I'm not even halfway, so estimate you should be able to get at least a good 10 hours out of this one. Not bad at all for a puzzler.

It looks nice but could perhaps be a bit 'cleaner' / more zen (akin to the likes of Quell, Patterna and Hexcells). Right now it feels like it's not sure what its design should be... particularly in combining HD and retro into some sort of arcade machine. I'm not a big fan of the retro music and sounds, which leaves it feeling a little jarring. That said, the pixelated blocks changing into beautiful HD as you roll near them is an interesting touch and makes for a nice extra to 'paint' the whole level so to speak.

So it's a bit slow to get into and not as engrossing as other head-scratchers out there. But the puzzles are plenty and well-crafted enough to give you something to sink your teeth into. Overall, I'd say it's a well-balanced mix of trial-and-error with sufficient "oh! I think I've spotted how to do it!" to keep it rewarding.

I bought this game a while back from Steam and kind-of forgot about it until recently. I opened it up and became instantly addicted to it. Puzzle Dimension is a fun, casual, puzzle game. It is challenging, but not impossible. The game has a tutorial, but you probably won't need it- the rules are simple to learn so you will be in the game in no time. There are many levels, to keep you playing for a long time. If you find that you have made a mistake, you can quickly restart the puzzle and in a few seconds you are back in. That feature keeps things moving and keeps frustration at a manageable level. You can use your keyboard or a gamepad (my preference) and swap the backgrounds. Puzzle Dimension is well-designed and a steal at this price...I highly recommend this game.

1) Скучно.

Ну вот честно. Может любителям головоломок и понравится. Но на мой вкус абсолютно скучно. Еле заставил себя пройти 20+ лвл. Как по мне так Marble Mayhem был гораздо гораздо забавнее и интереснее.
