Jedna z najbardziej chillujących gierek w jakiekolwiek grałem. Miałeś ciężki dzień- zresetuj się układając puzzle. Bez stresu, nerwów ze spokojną muzyczką. Gra na start daje kilka lub kilkanaście darmowych obrazków do układania, a jak Ci mało to masz 140 DLC do kupienia. Jest tyle DLC, że praktycznie zawsze jakieś są na promocji po - 90 % w groszowych cenach po 3 zł, 6 zł itp. Jaką trzeba być cebulą, żeby grze wystawiać negatywną ocenę za płatne DLC, które kosztują naprawde niewielkie pieniądze, a dają masę frajdy, chillu i wyciszenia. Warto spróbować nawet jak w realu nie przepadałeś za puzzlami.

It was enjoyable for me for a good while, casually puzzling away - until a big UI update happened that broke a few things. Some of which may have been fixed by now, I suppose. But I don't know how to describe it, I'm not generally against changes per se; something just took away my enthusiasm with the new update. I've been crawling my way through the packs I have already purchased to try and get as close to 100% as I can. But I also realized over time that this game is going to be an achievement hunter's nightmare because even if you finished it a year ago, new DLC will keep coming and coming and coming... And then you'll have to decide, can you deal with having -1 perfect game, previously completed, or will you buy the new DLC? And if so, will you wait for a discount or get it asap to get that +1 back?

Don't get me wrong, a game constantly and consistently updating is generally a good thing. New challenges now and then, for a game that is, at its core, free, what's not to like? I guess I'm just suffering from exhaustion at the thought of never being able to catch up. Games like Age of Empires II can be hella grindy with their achievements (I didn't get those 400+ hours for naught) but at least the end is in sight. There is a finite goalpost.

If I could give it a neutral review, I'd do that, but right now I'm more inclined to recommend against it than for it - from the perspective of someone who likes to wrap things up and get that 100%. If not having all achievements is not a problem for you, then by all means, give it a shot. You can unlock more than the initial freebies thanks to rewards for challenge puzzles, and I recommend waiting for a triple gold month if you really wanna make the most out of F2P, since you get triple rewards for regular completions which means you'll be able to unlock stuff faster as well. The new UI isn't all bad and if you haven't started this game prior to the update you might even wonder what the issue is. There's definitely some QoL improvements made. Me, I'm probably falling hook line and sinker for the sunk cost fallacy and keep going, haha. Fingers cross I 100% it one day, or at least that I 100% the packs that I've already purchased.

One nitpick I have is that I've seen some of the images in the dev's other puzzle games. I distinctly remember finishing a Challenge or Flash Puzzle with a certain purple-hued butterfly image either here or in the Traditional PP game, and later discovering the same image but in different hue in one of the DLC packs. I couldn't tell you which came first. And I think it happened with other images as well but after a while you do kinda lose track I suppose.

From what I understand there is currently only one dev, so I don't mean to be too harsh. Like I said, if I could I'd give a neutral recommendation.

Wish me luck in accumulation however many extra hours it may take to wrap this up. I'm currently not quite there yet, haha.

I love jigsaw puzzles so I was thrilled there was a free version through steam. There are a lot of free ones but they have a lot of sales all the time to buy new packs (and many below $2, so it's a heck of a deal). I will be happy to keep buying more packs in the future as well. Haven't played the competition ones but I prefer to play at my own pace anyway. Totally recommend.

They keep changing the menu system in the horrible ways. Now when I select 'OWNED puzzles' it continuously links me to puzzles that I obvioulsy don't own. As if I I don't already pick up enough puzzle packs on disount when they are on sale that otherwise I enjoy. BAD form Pixel puzzles, BAD form.

'Monthly challenges' used to be just that - monthly. Now they occur whenever - rarely monthly - so you wait ages for a new one. The user interface was easy to interact with and pleasant to look at, now it is neither. No idea what the reasons for these deteriorations are except keep being told that it is about 'upgrading and improving' but in truth it seems more like downgrading and decaying. As a result I have stopped buying any further puzzles and would advise others to stay well clear of this diminishing-quality product.

An interesting take on putting puzzles together with moving pieces and five holding areas. Most of the puzzles are a good mix of design to give you a challenge. Just wish they wouldn't turn on the rain by default which needs to be turned off everytime you work on a puzzle. But that's a minor point. The puzzles you purchase aren't too expensive and the best times to buy is when they have sales on them, especially the packs. If you like putting puzzles together, this is a good program to have.

This is a pretty good jigsaw puzzle game with a large number of puzzles to choose from, however the puzzles seem to take longer to put together than other games. I just started a fairly easy puzzle with 140 pieces, and tried to put the edge pieces together first, and I have been searching for edge pieces for 38 minutes and still haven't found all of the edge pieces yet. One nice thing about this game is that you can exit the game in the middle of a puzzle and come back to the puzzle later.

Not spectacular, but not awful.

Base game is free so it's definitely worth getting just for that reason alone. There are also a lot of dlc's and during sales are marked down significantly. There are also various items (skins, music, pointers and other puzzles) that you can unlock with in game earned currency. This is one of my go to games when i just want to play for a bit.

With that said the upkeep as of late has slipped a bit. There are a few puzzles that are bugged and have been for a while now. The free monthly puzzle sometimes is quite late (it is however free so I don't consider that to be that big of a deal, but some do). It also has a new interface that looks nice but isn't as user friendly.

All in all I recommend the game and getting the dlc's when they are on sale.

game is good puzzle game, free puzzles pop-up sometimes. id say that its not waste of money to buy some puzzle packs but dont if you are not fully into puzzles. there is much to do without money investment.

After the dev's for some reason decided to rework the UI,the game is now a broken and buggy mess. It is now cluttered, ugly and many part is so buggy they do not even work.
For those that think achivments matter the dev's have decided to remove earned achivments without explanation or notificaton. So beware in the future if the dev for whatever reason decide to remove some achivments.
Some Puzzles are also broken, giving wrong info, with confusing new Puzzle UI, that also is partly broken, and partly not even made to function at launch.

i use to enjoy this a lot (as you can probably tell by looking at the number of hours i played it). however, recently and out of nowhere the developper decided to replace the existing ui (which wasn't exactly a 10/10 tbh, but it very much served its purpose and added a lot to the overall relaxing vibes) with something that can only be described as GARBAGE. no one asked for a stressful ui that doesn't even display all the stuff you want to know. no one asked for a removal of the miniature pizzle preview. no one asked for flashing, trembling buttons. the game was good the way it was. right now i can't play it anymore.

don't get this, not even on discount. the current ui isn't worth a single cent.

Certes, le créateur s'est fait une belle machine à cash, le nombre et la valeur totale des dlc peut rebuter, à juste titre, mais les soldes à -75% sont fréquents. Aussi, il ne faut pas hésiter à mettre vos packs convoités en liste de souhaits pour attendre la bonne opportunité. ;)

Easy puzzlin' - rotation can be disabled - lots of dlc - just great casual gaming that you need sometimes. Every solved puzzle gets you an achievement which is nice somehow. Interface is a bit 2000 but it serves its purpose. Kids like to catch the fish which serves no purpose otherwise. Too much dlc but good news: many sales for 90% so best to wait if you want more puzzles.

It's a calm, chill game that saves progress as you go. For someone like me that may only have a few minutes while resetting my brain for the next task...this game is perfect since I can simply place a few pieces and pick up where I left off next time. It's got some customizations for backgrounds and other stuff, as well as the ability to get more puzzles and stuff just for solving puzzles.

One of the big complaints I see from others is instead of having over 300 individual games, the developer simply adds puzzles and associated achievements to the existing game as DLC. So while some scream about hundreds of dollars of DLC, I for one appreciate not having to scroll through over 300 pixel puzzle games alone in my library every time I want to move from "O" to "Q" in my game list. Talk about something that would drive me crazy every day!

I realize it isn't everyone's cup of tea, and that is especially true of achievement hunters who want to one and done a game. This game is not designed for achievement hunters - it will constantly drop you out of 100% by adding monthly challenge puzzles and new packs. You will have to spend more money without increasing your game library count if you want a chance to 100% the game again. I know it's a real crying shame that you can't buy the whole Pixel Puzzles franchise and add over 300 perfect games to your profile. If you can't handle having a game that you can't 100%...don't buy this game. There are over 50,000 games on Steam specifically geared for achievement hunters. Leave this one alone please K? This is a great way to relax, especially if you are fond of jigsaws. Some of the themes can irritate and the fact that most of the puzzles are paid DLC is not so good. However there are enough free puzzles and challenge puzzles to keep you going for a while. Some of the DLC puzzle packs are not bad value, others not so much. It's a bit of a money grab and with no puzzle generator, slightly annoying but still something I like to while away an hour or two after doing more active and intense gaming

这开发商疯了，出了120多个DLC，还在不断的出，已经5年了，就靠卖几张图就能吃一辈子.几千个成就。还出了另外2个版本，一个是传统风格的，一个是插画风格的，也是疯狂出DLC。

My personal favorite game for digital Puzzles. Perfect to calm down after a stressful day to relax with some music or a podcast in the background.

The game has a good number of free Puzzles so you can get a feel for it and how it plays. There is a huge amount of DLC packs, so everyone can find motives they enjoy for sure. Mostly they are fairly priced and many of the packs are often on Sale, so if you have a bit of patience, you can get your favorite packs for a great deal a couple of times a year!
Besides that, there is a Free Challenge Puzzle each month for you to enjoy.

Pixel Puzzles Ultimate offers a hint system with 3 different kind of hints you can activate. They cost hint tokens to use which you will earn after you placed a certain amount of pieces correctly. After each completely Puzzle you earn Golden Puzzle Pieces, which can be used to purchase new Cursers, Backgrounds, Music and many new Puzzles in the Kiosk.
What PPU is missing, is a system that matching puzzle pieces can click together anywhere on the board. The Puzzle pieces only lock in their spot when they are in the right place. I don’t mind that, but I can see how this is a turn of for some, so I wanted to mention it.

The Music that comes with the game is relaxing but gets repetitive after a while. But it’s the perfect game to listen to something you enjoy in the background.

If you are a fan of Jigsaw Puzzles, I absolutely recommend you to give Pixel Puzzles Ultimate a try!

Ein Muss für Puzzlefreunde. Eigentlich kann man nicht viel dazu schreiben, aber es gibt eben doch die ein oder andere Besonderheit. PPU bietet eine Menge gemächlichen Zeitvertreibs - eine Umstellung vom echten zum digitalen Puzzle war für mich kein Problem (und ab sofort gehen auch keine Einzelteile mehr verloren).

Das Hauptspiel ist gratis incl. einiger kostenloser Puzzle-Packs. In Packs sind unterschiedlich viele Puzzle zu einem Thema zusammengefasst, ich weiß gar nicht, wieviele es derzeit gibt. Eine Menge jedenfalls, das sieht man schon an den über 2000 (!) möglichen Errungenschaften - Tendenz steigend mit neuen DLC´s. Die Bilder sind geschmackvoll, schön und auch mal witzig oder bunter Comicstil. Da ist für jeden was dabei. Die Teilezahl liegt zwischen 60 und etwas über 1400, was für ein digitales Puzzle eine ordentliche Hausnummer ist.

Die Packs sind als DLC zu kaufen, manche davon sind sowohl ein DLC für PPU als auch ein eigenes Spiel mit eigenen, weiteren Errungenschaften. Willst Du Dich nicht arm kaufen, dann empfehle ich oft mal nachzuschauen, ob es Rabatte gibt - und die gibt es oft, auch bis 90%. Ansonsten würden alle Packs schnell hunderte Euros kosten.

Die Besonderheiten bei PPU sind die monatlichen challenges und der shop im Spiel. Natürlich kannst Du aus dem Spiel heraus auch DLC´s kaufen, aber dieser shop ist was anderes. Beim puzzeln erhältst Du zufällig "hints" (im nächsten Absatz mehr) und am Ende, je nach Schwierigkeit, Goldmünzen. Und für die vom Entwickler gratis gestellten challenges gibt es noch Sondermünzen. All dies lässt sich im shop als eine Art Währung hin und her wechseln und Du kannst von einzigartigen Puzzles über neue Hintergrundmusik oder alte challenge-Puzzles einige weitere nützliche Dinge "kaufen". Macht Sinn und man hat noch etwas, worauf man sich beim puzzeln freuen kann. Gute Idee.

Natürlich kann man diese hints auch einsetzen, um sich beim zusammen puzzeln Hilfen geben zu lassen. Je nach Hilfe kostet das 1, 3 oder 5 hints. Manchmal ist das gut, gerade wenn es darum geht, die höchste Schwierigkeit zu spielen. Dabei sind die Teile zu Beginn nicht in der richtigen Ausrichtung. Du musst also probieren, wie rum Du die drehen musst - das ist aber abschaltbar, wenn es zu schwer ist. Gute Sache.

Prima Unterhaltung für den, der gerne puzzelt. Von den digitalen Puzzle-Spielen, die ich bisher gesehen habe, ist dies das Herausragendste - auch gegenüber den neueren Versionen mit ähnlichen Namen.

Один паззл - одна ачивка. Ачивки регулярно добавляются по мере выхода паков (в каждом паке около десятка паззлов), паки платные. 100% ачивок здесь получить теоретически возможно только на небольшой промежуток времени - до выхода нового пака с паззлами. Все бы ничего, если бы паззлы были вменяемые, но нет - вменяемых тут совсем немного.

Это ад перфекциониста, и я не знаю почему я здесь застрял и что тут делаю.

I am a junkie for jigsaw puzzles and have tried every jigsaw game I could find on Steam. This one has among probably the highest production value, and yet is one of the worst to actually play for two reasons that make putting puzzles together an exercise in frustration rather than relaxation.

1. You can't interlock loose pieces together, pieces only snap to their place on the board.
2. Many of the puzzles use weird formats that make it hard to tell from looking at the pieces' tabs and slots which fit together. There are puzzles in which edge pieces are virtually indistinguishable from non-edge pieces because they're flat. This would be a lot more tolerable if loose pieces could be snapped together, so you end up not being sure which flat edges go together if they're solid colors.

If they ever add the ability to lock loose pieces, a feature even cheap perv jigsaw games seem to have no trouble implementing, then I will change my review to a thumbs up...but until then, the experience playing this just kind of sucks.

Un juego de hacer puzzles con una música relajante. No hay más, ni tampoco menos. Si disfrutas haciendo puzzles pero te falta espacio en casa (o dinero), esta opción te quitará el mono. Además de los puzzles que vienen incluídos en el juego, cada mes lanzan uno nuevo a modo de desafío que, si lo completas, te permite desbloquear otros gratuítamente.

Eso sí, tiene una contra: el precio de los packs de puzzles temáticos es elevadísimo para lo que ofrecen, en mi opinión.

Puzzle pieces snap to locations on the board, but NOT to each other.

This means you end up mostly having to work from the outside-inward every single time, even when you find a group of pieces that go in the middle of the board that should clearly be able to snap together (but don't, because pieces don't snap to each other in this game, they only snap to their location on the board)

I want to exit my game because I'm done playing but most of the time I quit because being forced to play in a way that just isn't natural for putting jigsaws together just gets too frustrating and I need a break from the frustration before I can eventually go back and see if I can finish the puzzle in the one way that this game allows you to play it.

There's another good review that mentions a bunch of the problems with only having a tiny space where we can place unsnapped pieces in between gaming sessions so I won't add any more to that but yes, everything that review talks about is also high on the frustration list.

They spent a lot of time adding animations and such that add nothing to the enjoyability of the game but failed to add basic essential jigsaw features that are present in almost every free mobile jigsaw game out there and that is really disappointing because it's easy to sink a lot of money into the scads of DLC they release for this game only to be reminded each and every time we play, that the free mobile games are actually a lot more fun to play.

I reeeally want to see an update to the base game itself (rather than just even more DLC) that adds those needed essentials to the game so we can all come back and give this game a thumbs up. Seriously, it would take only a few small changes to totally eliminate all the frustration with this game and make it a really great puzzle game. It's so close... but I don't really foresee them adding more playable improvements at this point. They seem pretty addicted to just selling DLC. (I'm absolutely willing to eat my words if they prove me wrong. I do, after all, have a bunch of their DLC that I would really like to actually be able to enjoy playing).

Auch sonst ist es für ein Puzzle-Spiel durchaus besser geformt als andere. Was mir besonders gefällt, dass immer wieder neue Puzzle dazu kommen, in verschiedenen Grössen und Schwierigkeitsgraden. Einige kostenlos, viele jedoch kosten. Man kann Ingame durchaus Puzzles freischalten, aber das dauert. Aber Puzzles sind bekanntlich auch ein Geduldsspiel. Die Preise variieren, wie auch das Angebot pro Pack. Nach langer Spielzeit (etwa 100 Stunden) entschied ich mich dazu weitere Elemente dazu zu nehmen. Ich wollte mehr Auswahl und gönnte mir diese. Es ist ein kostenloses Spiel mit DLCs, welches ich gerne unterstütze.

Pixel Puzzles Ultimate Jigsaw! Hier ist der Name Programm! Das Grundspiel ist kostenlos und bietet momentan 4 kostenlose Themen mit insgesamt 19 Puzzles. Also 4 DLCs sind gratis und weitere über 100 DLCs kann man zusätzlich dazukaufen. Die DLCs decken alle Möglichen Themen ab und es kommen anscheinend immer noch weitere dazu! Die Ausgestaltung der Motive finde ich meistens schön, aber dies ist halt Geschmacksache. Man muss ja nicht alles haben, sondern kann sich das kaufen, was einem gefällt. Preis/Leistung des Hauptspiels ist unschlagbar, da es kostenlos ist. Die weiteren DLCs haben unterschiedliche Preise, da sie nicht immer die gleiche Anzahl von Puzzles haben. Manche DLCs sind schon recht Teuer. Aber kein Problem, denn im Sale, werden diese teilweise um bis zu 90% reduziert verkauft! Geduld wird hier also belohnt.

[b]Insgesamt betrachtet kann ich das Game allen Puzzlefans empfehlen. Der einzige Negativpunkt für mich wäre, dass das Menü anfangs sehr unübersichtlich ist. Wer sich nicht sicher ist, kann das Hauptspiel kostenlos testen und ggf. wieder löschen. Achja, es gibt auch Sammelkarten und Errungenschaften.[/b]

Pixel Puzzles Ultimate Jigsaw est à prendre comme une sorte de plateforme à part entière qui regroupe un nombre incommensurable de puzzles (classiques) dont le nombre de pièces et la difficulté sont variables.

Si vous possédiez déjà certains puzzles de la série "pixel puzzles 2" (Japan, birds etc) ainsi que les extras "undeadZ" ou "radical roach", ceux-ci seront à nouveau jouables et intégrés gratuitement dans cette "plateforme".

Il est clair que si vous êtes chasseurs de succès et que si les puzzles ne sont pas réellement votre style préféré, je vous conseille de ne jamais commencer à y jouer. En effet, si vous escomptiez obtenir un 100% un jour, vous risqueriez de devoir débourser une fortune.

Si au contraire vous aimez vous détendre à l'occasion sur un petit puzzle, c'est l'endroit idéal.
Les images y sont de bonne qualité, il y a également de nombreux bonus sous forme de points vous permettant de customiser votre interface (avatars, sons, curseurs, images de fond...) et vous pourrez même obtenir quelques puzzles "gratuits" grâce à ces points.
Tous les mois il y a un challenge à relever mais c'est très corsé (nombreuses pièces).

Je recommande pour les fans uniquement, et ceux qui n'ont que faire des succès ou alors à ceux qui sont riches et pour qui débourser des centaines d'euros dans des puzzles est juste une paille lol.

При запуске сразу дается тутор, за прохождение которого дается небольшая ачивка и это сразу портит статистику достижений
А ачивка в игре отдельная за каждый-каждый собранный пазл. Кажется ничего сложно? Только вот большинство пазлов платные и их много. А полная покупка игры вылетает в большую копеечку, каждый месяц выходит новый донатный пак и новый челлендж

This is a rare case of a game I actually sometimes play but can't recommend, for some very simple reasons. Why can't you connect pieces to each other? Why can't you change the cut of puzzles? Why is the DLC, which must be nearly no cost to "develop," so expensive per image? And WHY, if all the game does is puzzles, do the images seem to have no thought behind them as to what makes an image fun to assemble?

In summary, why would I invest in a bunch of DLC when someone could easily put a better jigsaw puzzle game on Steam and I literally would have no reason to ever come back to this mediocre option again...

...and now I think someone did. I'm going to check out Super Jigsaw Puzzle: Generations.

Anyway, play the three Animated Jigsaws games instead. They are fantastic.

Definitely a thumbs down because pieces don't stick to each other, they only stick to the grid board!! Half the fun is solving small portions of the puzzle and then combining them together. You can't do that on this game, the pieces will only snap to the predetermined grid. It's a shame, since I really wanted to like it.

UPDATE, 2025-11-24: This [i]used[/i] to be my go-to game when I wanted to take a break from all the other games I bought on Steam, but so many issues have occurred ever since the September 2022 update breaking a lot of the game, and just getting further broken with the UI overhaul in mid-2024. The screenshots as seen on the store page doesn't even reflect the drastic UI change in the actual puzzles themselves. Feels like the only times I ever come back to play Ultimate is for the monthly challenges and just to see how much more broken this game can get, and I don't mean broken in a fun way, I mean broken in the sense of making the user experience worse and worse over time.

Go play Pixel Puzzles Traditional, or Pixel Puzzles Anime, until the developer ruins those games' UIs as well. Then maybe consider switching to Coloring Pixels or Coloring Voxels if you want a break from all the other games you've bought on Steam.

Lange Zeit habe ich mit mir gerungen, eine Bewertung zu PPU zu schreiben. Das hängt jedoch nicht damit zusammen, dass es nicht genügend zu erzählen gäbe oder ich keine explizite Meinung zum Spiel habe. Vielmehr habe ich einen zu hohen Anspruch an meine Bewertung, dass ich mich bei der Planung der Bewertung hinsichtlich des Umfangs des Spiels übernommen hätte. Daher möchte ich mich nur auf einen und zwar den kontroversesten Aspekt des Spiels beschränken: die Kosten des kostenlosen Spiels.

Das Basisspiel ist kostenlos und für zusätzliche Pakete bezahlt man Geld. Um ein kostenloses Spiel zu bewerten, muss man den Umfang betrachten, den man ohne Kosten zur Verfügung gestellt bekommt. Anfangs waren das verschiedene kleinere Pakete mit ca. 20 Puzzeln, später kam ein Kiosk hinzu, in dem man für eine Währung, die man nur im Spiel verdienen kann, weitere Puzzle kaufen konnte. Auch gab es relativ früh nach Veröffentlichung des Spiels monatliche Herausforderungen (sprich ein neues Puzzle jeden Monat), durch die man sich eine "Super-Währung" verdienen konnte, mit der direkt der auf eines kostenlosen Kiosk-Puzzles möglich war. Schließlich gibt es zu bestimmten Anlässen wie Weihnachten noch zusätzlich ein Puzzle oben drauf. Alle diese Inhalte sind kostenlos und werden ohne Einschränkungen zur Verfügung gestellt. Auch wenn ich diese kostenlosen Puzzle nicht gezählt habe, dürften es sich mittlerweile leicht um über 100 handeln. Das ist meiner Auffassung nach kein schlechtes Angebot.
Das ganze muss natürlich auch mit den Kosten des kostenpflichtigen Teils verglichen werden. Und dazu gleich vorweg: Die Preise, die man hier bei den DLC sieht, sind die Kosten, die maximal auf einen zukommen würden. Sofern man das Spiel nicht zu 100% abschließen möchte (was meiner Meinung nach aktuell quasi unmöglich ist), findet jede Kaufentscheidung außerhalb des Spiels statt und ist von den Kosten her überschaubar. Auch wenn der Preis von mehreren hundert Euro für alle Pakete immens scheint, kann man bei Sonderangeboten und größeren Bündeln gut sparen. Auch der Preis eines einzelnen Pakets ist generell nicht übertrieben. Wenn man der Ansicht ist, dass beispielsweise die separaten Spiele PP1: Japan oder PP2: Space ihren Preis wert sind, trifft dieselbe Aussage auch auf die meisten Pakete von PPU zu. Ich habe dazu einmal eine Excel-Tabelle erstellt, mit der ich die Preise verschiedener Pakete anhand der Anzahl der Teile und Puzzle gegeneinander und mit den Vorgängern verglichen habe: Nicht nur gibt es keine signifikanten Unterschiede, manche Pakete wie Ukiyo-e sind sogar deutlich günstiger. Ich halte daher die Preise für angemessen, kaufe trotzdem bevorzugt bei Angeboten.

Als Fazit kann ich festhalten, dass man unbedingt das Spiel ausprobieren sollte. Da bereits der kostenlose Teil so viel Umfang besitzt, dass man sich leicht eine abschließende Meinung bilden kann, läuft man auch nicht Gefahr, Geld zu verschwenden. Lediglich als Jäger der Errungenschaften sollte man sich darauf einstellen, viel Zeit und Geld zu investieren. Natürlich sollte man auch Puzzle mögen.

Бесплатная игра классических пазлов. Условно бесплатная. Бесплатного контента хватит не надолго, за остальное придётся очень сильно раскошеливаться. Картинки в большинстве своём для сбора не интересные, а зачастую вообще откровенно уродливые. Такое впечатление, что разработчик ходит по рынку изображений и откладывает в корзину всё самое захудалое, что людям стыдно продавать дороже чем даром. А ведь можно было бы набрать шикарных фотографий, но нет. Гниль всякая ближе к сердцу. Количество кусочков в пазле никак не регулируется и находится в ведении злой фантазии разработчика. Как его левая нога возжелает, так и будете собирать. Захочет - будете 1000 кусков собирать, а захочет - только шестьдесят.

Я долго следила за развитием этой игры и убедилась, что его нет. Баги и недорзумения как были, так и остаются, неудобства и нелепости игрового процесса как были так и остаются. Но зато стабильно клепаются всё новые и новые DLC. Причём по совершенно конским ценам, словно я на фотостоке покупаю эксклюзивную лицензию на эти изображения. И с чего бы вообще им столько стоить? Всё же по накатанной, покупка изображений по копеечным ценам, программное разбиение их на кусочки и всё. Алгоритм давно написан, интерфейс тоже. Дел на пять минут. Вы одной своей покупкой дополнения за полную цену окупите все затраты разработчика на годы вперёд. Фантастическое рвачество.

При этом долбаных карпов и лотосы я должна принудительно отключать каждый раз, когда гружу пазл, даже если вышла из него на минуточку, возвращаешься и опять эта помойка плавает. Кому она вообще нужна? Что за дурная идея это всё вообще сделать?
Картинка-превью по-прежнему микроскопическая и её нельзя увеличить, что бы рассмотреть подробнее. Так она ещё и обрезана по краям. Резать-то её зачем?
Этот фильтр на фотоизображения зачем применять. Для чего я должна видеть эту размазню на кусочек пазла вместо чёткой картинки, по которой бы можно было нормально определить откуда этот кусок? Чисто из пакости души?
Почему при выборе опции "играть в окне", не только скудный набор нелепых разрешений, но и окно не разворачивается во весь экран? Это кривые мозги не позволяют сделать полноценное окно, или опять же, гниль за грудиной?
Почему до сих пор нельзя поменять цвета подложки для поля временного размещения избранных кусочков? Кусочки тёмного цвета туда откладывать вообще бесполезно, их на чёрном фоне не разглядеть. Казалось бы, простая функция, для других полей игры реализовано. А тут что, религия сильно против?
А какой извращенец придумал эту системы подбора кусочков? В какой больной ум пришла мысль, что когда я тыкаю мышью в свалку кусочков, то мне нужен не верхний, который я вижу, а нижний или какой-нибудь из середины? Пол-минуты можно потратить, пока наконец к мыши не прицепится тот самый кусочек, который я вижу и хочу взять. Пока докликаешься до него, вот уже и играть перехотелось.
Так же по-уродски сделан и поворот. То на 90 градусов повернётся, то на 180, сиди убивай нервы на попытке повернуть кусок в нужное положение.

Остальную кучу нелепостей и неудобств даже перечислять не стану. Хватает их, но начинать надо с вышеперечисленного.

В общем и целом, отзыв мой отрицательный, хотя игра в целом работоспособна, но рвачество и отсутствие желания довести её до ума бесит. Пора взбодрить разработчиков.

Si Pixel Puzzle Ultimate propose pas mal d'options pour ceux qui recherchent la difficulté, il en propose à mon sens trop peu à ceux qui comme moi recherchent au contraire la facilité.
Ici, par défaut, les pièces se déplacent toutes seules en tournant sur elles même, le tout sur un "fond" dynamique animé où on croisera par exemple des gouttes de pluie ou des insectes qui ajoutent encore à la confusion.

Heureusement, il est possible d'uniformiser le fond en limitant certaines de ces déraisonnables fantaisies animées.
Il est également possible d'empêcher les pièces de bouger et virevolter magiquement dans la boite, et même de faire en sorte qu'elles restent toutes placées dans le bon sens.
Enfin, il est possible de régler la tolérance avec laquelle une pièce reconnaîtra son emplacement.

Malgré cela (et bien qu'il ne soit pas foncièrement mauvais), ce jeu écope d'une éval négative pour plusieurs raisons.
- Impossibilité d'assembler des pièces indépendamment du puzzle principal : tant qu'elles ne sont pas correctement positionnées au bon emplacement, il est impossible de construire des "morceaux" indépendants à part.
- L'interface infecte, placée sur le côté droit par dessus les fragments qu'on essaie de manipuler au lieu d'un fin bandeau DÉDIÉ qui n'empièterait pas bêtement sur le stock de pièce déjà trop étriqué.
- Impossibilité de choisir la difficulté pour chaque puzzle : ils sont livrés avec un nombre défini de pièces, que l'on ne peut pas choisir soi-même.
- La photo du modèle est beaucoup trop petite pour des images aussi foisonnantes de détail que les tableaux de Bosch (l'unique DLC que j'ai acheté). Or dans la mesure où ce jeu impose de placer les pièces au bon endroit sans possibilité de les assembler ailleurs, je ne comprends pas qu'il soit impossible d'accéder à la photo du couvercle de la boite en plein écran. (Par exemple avec un appui maintenu sur espace, et un retour au puzzle en relâchant la touche).
- Ici, on doit passer par un zoom pas du tout pratique, puisqu'il zoom toujours sur le centre et non sur le curseur, obligeant généralement à un déplacement de caméra ensuite - de plus, il ne fait même pas le taf, puisque le grossissement est toute façon beaucoup trop faible pour y décerner quoi que ce soit - particulièrement sur un écran petit/moyen et avec des problèmes de vue (circonstances qui boostent déjà suffisamment la difficulté en ce qui me concerne).
Je précise qu'il existe une sorte de pouvoir qui consomme des "Hints" (une ressource assez rare obtenue en jouant) pour voir l'espace d'un court instant l'image s'imprimer directement sur le fond... Pourquoi n'y a t'il pas moyen de régler ça en illimité pour ceux qui veulent jouer en "très facile" (ou simplement "vite") juste pour se détendre?
- Au lieu de résoudre ces problèmes évidents, (pourtant pointés du doigt depuis longtemps par la communauté - voir forums), DL Softworks a préféré développer pour 500€ de DLC, qui consistent - je le rappelle, à vendre simplement une demi douzaine d'images lambdas fragmentées en divers nombre de pièces par le moteur du jeu.

Je trouve cette mentalité assez détestable à vrai dire.

Je lui préfère amplement Super Jigsaw Puzzle, qui bien qu'il soit finalement beaucoup moins complet en terme d'options fantaisistes inutiles, propose d'une part de vrais niveaux de difficulté (choisir le nombre de pièces pour chaque image), ainsi que la possibilité d'assembler des pièces ensemble indépendamment du puzzle principal, et une image référentielle de taille décente.
En bref, des attributs beaucoup plus indispensables à mes yeux qu'ajouter des bâtons dans les roues avec un déplacement magique + une rotation perpétuelle des pièces sortie de nulle part.

Tolles Spiel für alle Puzzle-Fans.

Das Grundspiel und ausgewählte Puzzles sind kostenlos, ansonsten muss man die meisten Puzzles durch DLC's erwerben. Dabei arbeiten die Entwickler stets an neuen Packs und Puzzles.
Zudem gibt es eine monatliche Challenge - ein Puzzle, für das man einen Monat Zeit hat. Schafft man es, das Puzzle in der Zeit zu vervollständigen, so besitzt man dieses auch. Schafft man es nicht, kann man es über den Kiosk kaufen.
Im [b]Kiosk[/b] gibt es verschiedene Puzzles, aber auch "Cosmetics" (Curser-Aussehen, Musik, Toolbar-Aussehen,...). Diese kann man für bestimmte Tokens eintauschen, wobei man die Tokens durch Puzzeln, Vervollständigen der Puzzles und Vervollständigen des monatlichen Puzzles bekommt.

Es ist Zeit meine Rezension anzupassen.

Man konnte den Eindruck bekommen ihnen ging der Content aus, damit lag ich nicht richtig,
Es gab Monate in denen es keine Challenges gab, das hat sich wieder geregelt.
Warum der Entwickler ein Pixel Puzzles Illustrations & Anime als weiteres Spiel rausgebracht hat entzieht sich meiner Logik, ich bin zufrieden mit Ultimate.

Ein schönes Puzzlespiel in dem man sehr viel Zeit investieren kann.
Das Hauptspiel ist zwar kostenlos, und es gibt ein paar freie Packs, doch läuft es darauf hinaus Packs DLCs nachzukaufen, wenn man dabeibleiben möchte.

Ich kann jeden nur Empfehlen zu warten bis die DLCs so bei 60% reduziert sind.

Dann gibt es noch die kostenlosen monatlichen Challenges die es teilweise richtig in sich haben.

Leider scheint ihnen der Content auszugehen, oder die Entwickler wollen die Challenges langsam wegfallen lassen, was sehr traurig wäre.
Noch bleibt der Daumen Richtung Norden, doch das kann sich ändern.

Wie man daran geht ist unterschiedlich, da die Formen der Puzzle Teile und die Motive oft sehr anspruchsvoll sind.

Mir macht es sehr viel Spaß

PPU has been out for almost 9 years and still going strong. Most of the content is paid at this point, but packs commonly go on sale if you wait and can also be combined for further discounts. The developers have changed stuff up over the years, but we are still getting quality of life features (recently added option to fill in a puzzles border in exchange for some hint tokens).

You can still access and/or unlock over 200+ puzzles for free, including the monthly challenges - that also just hit 100 in total, but anyone with a completionist mindset needs to be ready to spend money. New packs of puzzles get released at a study rate for those that pick and choose or wish to finish everything in-game.

Puzzles range from 60 to 1,410 pieces and reward varying amounts of gold tokens to unlock puzzles and other miscellaneous items. These can be exchanged for hint tokens and vice versa. The developers, usually around the big yearly sales, run 2x or 3x gold token campaigns.

I do recommend this for anyone who likes puzzles. The sheer volume it contains it both it's best strength and biggest weakness. This is not a game that many can "100%" or might not have the time to invest. Yet it remains a good way to spend times and relax if you can't decide on something else to play.

After 4,600+ hours of playing Pixel Puzzle Ultimate, I have come to the conclusion that along with its DLC's this game is one of Steam's hidden gems. A great way to relax whilst listening to music or taking a break from the real world. There's a puzzle to everyone's liking!

However, I might be one of the few players who dislikes the recent overall visual revamp of the main menu.

いくつかジグソーパズルを遊んでみましたが、今の所これが一番面白いです。

元はアイテム探しゲーム(HiddenObject)に出てくるミニゲームのジグソーパズルを時々遊ぶぐらいで、ジグソーってあまり好きなパズルゲームでは無かったんですが、何度もジグソーミニゲームを遊んでいるうちに、ふと「これって究極のアイテム探しゲームなんじゃないか？」と気付いてしまい急に興味が湧いてきました。

ただ、カジュアル系のジグソーパズルは、ピースの掴み判定の甘さにイライラすることが多くて、目的のピースを探す為に邪魔なピースをマウスで掻き分ける作業で手がつりそうになります。

最初は枠周りのピースを選別する作業になりますが、これが凄く面倒で疲れます。この作業を自動で仕分けてくれるタイプのジグソーパズルもありますが、「[b]究極のアイテム探しゲーム[/b]」として考えると、自動仕分け機能は面白みが無いので難しいところです。

また、他のジグソーパズルはピースの向きが固定されているものが多く、難易度を上げるには単純にピース数を増やす方向になりがちなので、アイテム探し的な楽しみ方としては、ピースの向きが回転できるタイプのほうが楽しいです。特に歳をとると細かなピースを凝視するのは結構辛いので、回転機能があることは長く楽しむ上では重要です。

本作「 [b]Pixel Puzzles Ultimate[/b]」は、以上の不満点を上手く解消してくれています。

ピース判定に関してはドット単位でチェックしているようで、後ろに埋もれているピースでも少し見えていれば掴めるのが良いです。カジュアルなジグソーパズルは上にあるピースの判定が大きめだったり、内部処理のピース番号順に判定を調べているのか、何度クリックしても目的のピースが掴めなかったりするので、遊んでいて発狂したくなる仕様が多かったですが、このゲームはバッチリ掴めます。

さらに、ピースが回転しながら漂っているのが凄く良いです。ピースを自動でかき分けてくれてるようなものなので、凄くストレスフリーにピースを探せます。ここらへんは正に「[b]究極のアイテム探しゲーム[/b]」という感じで、頭の中の画像パターンと合致するピースを目を凝らして探しだす面白さがたまりません。ピースをハメ込む時も回転させながらパターンマッチングに試行錯誤する工程が楽しいです。

画面の空きスペースにはピースをストックする領域があって、５つのタブを切り替えてピースを整理しておくことが出来ます。パズルは完成前に終了しても状態が保存されますが、盤面に置かれた未確定のピースは戻されてしまうものの、ストック領域に置かれたピースは状態が保存されるので、気軽に始めて気軽に終了できます。

[h1]マウス操作の改善方法[/h1]

ピースの回転が、マウス左ボタンを押しながら右クリックという操作なので、他のレビューを見ると腱鞘炎になるという方もいるようですが、ピースを掴んだ状態でSPACEキーを押す方法でも代用できます。私は AutoHotKey というキーカスタマイズ系フリーソフトのスクリプトを書いて、右クリックだけでピースを回転できるようにしています。

個人的に関心した点として、完成画像が小さめに表示されていますが、この画像の周囲がフレームで少し隠されているのがパズル的に凄く面白いと思いました。周囲のピースは手がかりが掴みやすく場所を特定し易いので、どうしても作業感が出てしまうのですが、完成画像の枠が少し隠れているおかげで、各ピースの難易度が平均化されているように感じました。特に四隅のピースは特定が凄く楽なのですが、本作では画像が隠されている割合が一番大きくなるので適度な難易度になっています。初めて遊んだ時はダミーピースでも入っているのか？と思ってビックリしました。

凄く単純なパズルゲームゆえに、小さな工夫が光るジグソーパズルです。英語版なので少し敷居は高いですが、遊ぶ上ではあまり問題になることは無いです。追加DLCで沢山パズルの絵柄が出ているので、セールの時にでも気に入った絵柄を買うのをオススメします。出来れば好きな画像データーをパズルに出来たりすると嬉しいですが、ゲーム本体が無料なので開発者への応援の気持ちでデーターを買っていこうと思います。

I have put many hours into this game and this is what I have learned. First and foremost the puzzles you can purchase are FAR FAR too expensive. How hard is it to get a picture and turn it into a puzzle these days? The options you have to work with only apply to sound, graphics and controls. Actual game play options are limited. You can change how fast the pieces spin but not the cut of the pieces. You can't change how the pieces are placed on the sideboard; either left, right, both or all around. I get it that the developers want the puzzles to be challenging but with all the tedious options, how about the option to choose how challenging it is?
I DO like playing the game and have purchased the puzzle packs that are $1.31 or under. I will never pay $5-10 for four puzzles that I will only do once anyway. But meanwhile it is a good distraction when you have a bit of time to spare and I will play until I have done all the puzzles I have.

[h1]A simple puzzle game[/h1]

Pixel puzzles is what it is – a jigsaw puzzle game. Free to play so worth trying at least, great for relaxation when you’re tired form other games. It comes with a good amount of free puzzles and DLC is quite affordable when on sale. The good thing is you get choose from a bunch of differently themed puzzles, so anyone can find a puzzle pack for his taste.
What I would add is music packs. I usually listen to my music when playing this but music packs matching the theme would be nice also. Like Halloween, Christmas themed music and something to match different puzzle packs, like 60’s music for pin-up girls pack for example.
Each month a huge free challenge puzzle being unlocked which takes several days to finish.
And of course the game has a ton of achievements. Each completed puzzle gives you one or two achievements.
Really nice that developers do this. It keeps me coming back to the game,
Just try this game it’s fun you won’t lose anything.

Well I suppose after 1,000 hours I've played enough to write a review. ;-)

This is the Ultimate jigsaw puzzle game on Steam. For one thing, it's FREE! And not only the program is free but they also give you quite a few free puzzles so you can try it out and see if you like it. Then, if you do like the game, there are tons of DLC puzzle packs to buy, each with a theme like Halloween, Christmas, Trains, and for the dudes who think puzzle games are lame they have Pin-Up Girls (ooo-la-la!). You can pick which theme interests you and only buy those. Or be like me and just buy them all. Piece size ranges from 100 to 1,000, though most of the time they are in the 200-300 range with a couple bigger ones like 450, 640. And the pieces themselves have weird cut-out shapes on some of the puzzles. They are not always the traditional cut-out shape. That could be a pro or con depending on if you like variety or would rather just stick with the traditional style.

Features:

Play the way you want to play. There are settings for how fast the pieces float in the river, and if they rotate, and other things I've forgotten.
There are different backgrounds behind the puzzle that you can choose from, so you're not stuck with the koi pond.
Kiosk! You earn stars and gold which you can use to buy a variety of cursors, headers for the main page, and unique puzzles in shapes!, plus some extra puzzles.
Every month there is a Challenge Puzzle. And some of them have been quite the challenge. 640-1,000 piece range. I tend to use a lot of cheats.
Oh, I haven't mentioned the cheats before! There are 3 of them: Flash image of entire picture for a few seconds, Show the location of the piece you are holding, and...something I've forgotten. You use the blue stars for the cheats, and each has a different number of stars they cost.
Music tracks to choose from (I turn off the music because I listen to podcasts while I'm puzzling)
You can replay a puzzle that you have finished, like if a family member wants to do a puzzle you have done.

Achievement hunters, I got bad news for you. You'll probably never 100% this game. Because there are achievements for each puzzle in each pack, and they keep adding packs once in a while throughout the year. Unless you spend your entire day doing puzzles you'll never come close to 100%.

So tldr:
It's FREE with lots of FREE puzzles to do
DLC Puzzle Packs that have themes - buy the ones you like
Lots of customizable settings
There are a few puzzles with a FROG as the subject, so there you go that's all you need to insta-buy! P-)

Do you like puzzles? That’s probably why you’re here, right? If so, you’ll like Pixel Puzzles Ultimate. The game is FREE! Once a month you’re given a FREE monthly puzzle. There are ways to earn token pieces inside the game that you can use to “purchase” more puzzles from the in-game store or “Kiosk.”

There’s quite a few DLC available as well. Some are better than others. The older ones tend to have pictures that are lesser quality. The new ones (the last year or so) have been universally quite good quality. While the DLC’s are not expensive, this is more for people who love puzzles and less for achievement hunters as they’ll feel they need to buy every single DLC that rolls out every month or so to keep the game at 100%. Not just that, but there’s some incredibly difficult puzzles (to me at least!) that many people may not want bother with. There ARE a lot of achievements though. You get one for each puzzle finished, one for each kiosk item unlocked and one for each pack finished. Then there are about 40 basic ones for the usual types of things.

Puzzles range in size from 60 to 1410 pieces. When the game advertises 96-1000 it’s referring to what you get for free starting out.

The only downside is a popular complaint – you can’t put pieces together in an unattached segment of the puzzle. I personally find this to be not such a big deal. It’d be nice occasionally but I have multiple monitors and I screenshot the image before I start the puzzle so I have an image to look at.
+ FREE to get going means you can try it for free. I always like that.
+ It’s by far the best puzzle game on Steam. I’ve tried the others.
+ Very low DLC prices. To me ~$5 for 15 hrs. of entertainment is a no brainer!
+ Highly customizable interface (pointers, music, backgrounds, colors)
+ Huge selection!

- It would be nice if pieces could be connected before connecting them to the actual puzzle much like you can do with “real” puzzles.

Pixel Puzzle Ultimate is a jigsaw puzzle STORE FRONT for Pixel Puzzle puzzle packs. I call this "game" a store front simply because once downloaded it is filled with various FREE puzzles, an actual truthfully FREE monthly challenge puzzle, the occassional FREE bonus puzzle, and internal ways to generate gold and ultimate pieces to "buy" other puzzles and kiosk items (music, avatars, backgrounds, etc.) There are NO micro transactions involved and the player only buys additional content if desired through DLCs puzzle packages. Plus if the player happens to own previously purchased Pixel Puzzle packages these puzzle packages can be downloaded in the Pixel Puzzle Ultimate store front and consolidated there.

Many comment/complain about the puzzle package DLCs, and I do wonder why? The packages range from 0.49 cents US to around $11.99 US. These DLCs frequently go on sale containing anywhere between 1-25 jigsaw puzzles. That is actually a very good deal for those souls out there who enjoy putting jigsaw puzzles together for the sake of putting a puzzle together.

Others make comments/compliants about achievements. Anyone even remotely aware of the game achievements will understand there are and will be an unending amount of achievements since every new puzzle package released contains its own achievements. (FYI: I do believe AStats - an achievement tracking group - only recognizes the first 100 achievements due to Pixel Puzzle constantly adding achievements.) So do stop complaining.

I highly recommend for jigsaw puzzle enthusiasts downloading this Store Front as a way of consolidating any or all of the Pixel Puzzle packages one has. Plus there are free puzzles available and an actual FREE monthly challenge puzzle which if completed the player gets to keep. There are a huge variety of puzzles to put together from variety packages, seasonal packages to specialized packages. No money required and DLC buys available only if wanted.

Took me a while to choose between a Negative or Positive review for this game, as i found it a very enjoyable Jigsaw puzzle game. But alas, i decided the Con's outweighed the Pro's.

The ultimate podcast game.
If you have played any of the other Pixel Puzzle games and liked them, you will like this. Put on a podacast or some music and just kinda zone out and solve puzzles, for me these games are the perfect level of concentration that I can focus on listening to something but not be bored or fidgety. It's great.
It comes with a decent ammount of free puzzles, and if you own the other games all the puzzles from them are here too, and there are also occasional challenge puzzles. You can buy mini puzzles in game as well. So there is a couple hours of content at least for free, or more, depending on how bad you are at puzzles (I'm terrible at them which is good cause it makes the game longer), And after that there is a massive ammount of dlc, which is fine since the base game is free, so it's basically more content if you want it if not don't buy it.
The best part for me is the customization options. You can change basically every element of the game from the distance the pieces snap into place to turning rotation on or off. My least favourite of the other games was birds since there was no way to turn of rotation, which I find annoying since on the larger puzzles that can really become quite annoying with how long it takes. So it's good to have that option here.

Ну что можно написать про старые добрые пазлы. Возможно, что не все смогут понять данное увлечение. Но они неплохо расслабляли, расслабляют и будут расслаблять. Ещё со школьных времён я собирал пазлы. Очень любил корабли по несколько тысяч штук. В каждой квартире, где я жил (в детстве, в студенчестве, уже во взрослой жизни) на стене висели пазлы, в том числе и сейчас висят. И вот теперь я добрался и до пазлов в стиме! Иногда не хочется играть в крупные проекты. Наверно, это приходит с возрастом. В этом случае, такие игры и спасают. Политика разработчиков не самая лучшая, но понятная. Есть бесплатные пазлы. Пособирал, да забросил. А будучи задротом, покупай хренову тучу пазлов отдельно. Более менее спасают распродажи. Но всё равно, конечно, очень дорого. Ну и не знаю когда можно добить игру на 100%. Либо к старости, либо никогда. Но, в общем, игрой доволен!

[h1]Pixel Puzzles Ultimate - это то, что нужно было сделать разработчикам давно.[/h1] Предыдущие части очень понравились, но иметь мозаики в одном месте в виде DLC куда удобнее. Сначала меня оттолкнула идея F2P с покупкам мозаик, но потом после того как разработчики стали делать скидки, раздавать некоторые DLC, а также портировать предыдущие и давать их бесплатно (для тех кто имеет на аккаунте), я ее принял. Сейчас в игре, есть Киоск, Ежемесячные испытания, и всякие мелкие кастомизации. В игре присутствует своя валюта - золотые мозаики. Зарабатывать ее просто, достаточно собирать мозаики, за которые их и дают. В зависимости от размера паззла, кол-во разное, т.е. чем сложнее, тем больше монеток дадут. Их можно тратить на курсоры, фоны, музыкальное сопровождение, покупку уникальных мозаик (их не продают в DLC), а также на приобретение пропущенных испытаний. Можно конвертировать в Энергию. Энергию можно тратить на подскази, когда мозаика уже собирается. За выполнение ежемесяч.испытания дают фиолетовую монетку (пропущенные, которые куплены в киоске, уже не идут в счет), которая конвертируется в 100 золотых. Игра очень понравилась, единственное бывают мелкие баги в виде, когда устанавливаешь деталь, куда она должна помещаться, а система думает, что это не ее позиция.
Игре поставлю 9/10. Огромное спасибо разработчикам.

Finally a puzzle game for older people like myself. Pixel Puzzles has something for everyone. Traditional, challenges, small, medium, and large puzzles. This game will keep you playing for hours. The music is relaxing although repetitious at times and it usually does not match the topic of puzzles you are working on.
The layout of the game is very organized and easy to use. I especially like the sound that is made when the pieces are put in the correct space. The DLC packs are very good, just wait for a sale if you love puzzles as much as I do.

Overall: Beautiful graphics, challenging puzzles, lots of fun.
Grips:The music needs to fit the theme of the puzzles more. And there were a few puzzles I could not finish cause not all of the pieces were there.
10/10 Excellent game.

Fixed a few flaws from the previous games but many remain. Among other issues, the terrible zoom & UI make big puzzles a nightmare.

More importantly, although they bait you with a free to play base game, the DLCs - necessary if you want to 100% the game or even get anywhere close to that - amount to this day to a total of $350 roughly. And each DLC is ten times more expensive than it should be for the number of puzzles it brings you. The most shameless Steam scam there is.

De ultieme puzzeluitdaging in 1 game. Alle vorige packs van Pixel Puzzle krijg je erbij als je die al had. Er zijn echter nog veel andere packs met uiteenlopende thema's zoals sport, kunst en landschappen. Elke maand een nieuwe uitdaging en de schop met allerlei andere puzzels, geluidjes en dingen om je spel te personaliseren. Als je graag legpuzzels maakt dan is dit zeker een aanrader! Maar ook als je even een rustig spel wilt.

Opgelet: de basis en enkele pack zijn gratis maar de meeste zijn best prijzig. Dus als het kan, koop ze tijdens een sale. Voor achievementjagers is dit spel met zijn vele honderden achievements iets van lange adem..

Here's the thing.. if you enjoiy jigsaw puzzles you WILL like this game. That being said.

Points of good or bad elements
1. While the base game is free and there are free packs available.
You are going to have to frequently pony up for new puzzles.
Yes if you owened an earlier version of this developer's puzzle game you get those old puzzles for free added.
But honestly that makes this game a puzzle drug dealer.. just the way I feel about it.

2. All the earlier game version anoyances have been removed.

3. The challange puzzle is rediculously HARD. So many pieces as to be blindingly fiddly. Eye aching puzzle images.

So is it worth buying, yes. But I'd wait for bundles and sales for your pack buying expenses. You'll feel less ripped off that way.

Decaying Logic gelingt es auf einfache Art und Weise das beste Jigsaw-Puzzle-Game auf Steam zu betreiben. Ich sage bewusst betreiben, denn die Zahl der Erweiterungen steigt stetig und die monatlichen Challenges können durchaus als Community orientiertes Weiterentwicklen betrachtet werden. Es ersetzt natürlich kein echtes Puzzle, das Aufräumen entfällt aber und so viel Platz nimmt es auch nicht weg. Das Basisspiel bietet derweil nicht all zu viele Puzzle, lässt einen aber einen kostenlosen Einblick in die Mechanik gewinnen. Dabei wird von Seiten der Entwickler eigentlich alles richtig gemacht. Übersichtliches Menü, einfache Bedienung, attraktive Features.

[b]Features[/b]

Für das abschließen von Puzzles gibt es neben den Errungenschaften auch "goldene Puzzleteile" und während dem puzzlen kann man "Hints" finden. Mit den Hints lassen sich beim puzzlen Hilfestellungen anfordern (richtige Rotation eines Puzzleteils, genauer Ort eines Puzzleteils & kurzer Blick auf das Gesamtbild) oder 50 Stück können in ein goldenes Teil umgewandelt werden. Mit goldenen Puzzleteilen lassen sich Items im Kiosk freischalten. Von Zeit zu Zeit gibt es auch Events, wo für das Abschließen eines Puzzles doppelt so viele goldene Teile vergeben werden.

Decaying Logic hat mit dem erwähnten Kiosk ein Feature implementiert, welches als Langzeitmotivation angesehen werden kann. Neben kosmetischen Items zur Individualisierung des Spiels (Cursor, Musik, Themes), lassen sich auch sogenannte "Uniques", d.h. besonders schwere oder aufwendige Puzzle freischalten. Dazu können die bereits angesprochenen goldenen Puzzleteile verwendet werden. Auch alte Challenges lassen sich auf diesem Weg noch spielen.

Die monatlichen Challenges sind ein weiterer Pluspunkt bei der Entwicklung. Kostenlos und äußerst anspruchsvoll, lassen sie den Puzzle-Fan schon die ein oder andere Stunde vor dem PC verbringen. Die Motivwahl ist dafür auch sehr unterschiedlich, wobei die Farbnuancen und die Puzzle-Form der Einzelteile einen zuweilen zur Weißglut treiben. Bei erfolgreichem Abschluss erhält man ein sogenanntes "Ultimate Piece", welches auch im Kiosk eingelöst werden kann.

[b]Die DLCs[/b]

Ohne Packs wirkt das Spiel recht leer. Wer bereits die anderen Spiele der Pixel Puzzles-Serie erwerben konnte oder sie bei einer der etlichen Promotionsaktionen kostenlos erhielt, der kann sie bei der Ultimate-Version nochmals spielen. Auch das ein oder andere DLC kann noch kostenlos im Netz gefunden werden, wie bspw. DaVinci oder Beach Volleyball, sodass man eine doch schon recht große Auswahl an Puzzlen (ca. 100) von Beginn an haben kann. Es bedarf aber etwas Arbeit im Vorfeld!

Die DLCs scheinen auf den ersten Blick natürlich überteuert, jedoch erhält man für die Preise i.d.R. guten Content. Für 0,99€ kann man dann, je nach Erfahrung, mehrere Stunden mit puzzlen verbringen. Wartet man auf einen Sale, rentiert es sich erst recht. Bewertet habe ich jedoch nur all jene DLCs, welche regulär mehr als 4,99 Euro kosten. А теперь непосредственно к игре. Пазлы, складные картинки или же просто мозаики – отдельная категория развлечения для крайне усидчивых людей, особенно когда число кусочков собираемой картинки выходит за три сотни. Сначала в Steamе появились отдельные сборки Pixel Puzzles с японскими мотивами, ожившими мертвецами, аниме и прочим, а потом создатели этих игр решили выпустить бесплатное приложение Pixel Puzzles Ultimate к которому можно подключать бесконечное количество наборов с новыми пазлами. Решение достаточно сомнительное, ибо покупать кучу дополнений за немаленькие деньги мало кому понравится, но никто не заставляет вас покупать ВСЕ дополнения. Благо наборы сформированы по темам и выбрать парочку себе по душе не сложно.

Другое дело зачем спрашивается вообще играть на компьютере в нечто подобное? Тут уже каждый ответит за себя сам. Лично для меня это приятное занятие в те моменты, когда занят периодами с небольшими перерывами и играть в нечто активное нет возможности, а вспоминать каждый раз в какой-нибудь пошаговой стратегии, что ты хотел сделать уже надоело, вот именно для этих моментов и случаев «Pixel Puzzles Ultimate» подходит идеально.

Вдобавок к огромному количеству разных картинок у данной игры есть возможности по настройке сложности. Можно играть без напряжения с не крутящимися кусочками, которые к тому же будут прилипать к полотну отпущенные в сантиметре от нужного места, а можно устроить себе ад, где ничего подобного нет и в помине. За победу над очередной мозаикой нам выдают золотые кусочки, которые можно тратить на украшение своего внутри-игрового профиля и покупку маленьких плюшек таких как изменение вида курсора или музыки. Как говорится – мелочь, а приятно.

Проблемы у игры тоже присутствуют. Мне больше всего бросается в глаза такое изредка проявляющееся явление как лёгкое залипание процесса при активном перемещении кусочков. Но игра неспешна по своей сути, потому едва ли это сильно мешает. А потому мы имеем условно бесплатную игру на любителя в которую можно зайти и на дюжине начальных картинок проверить подходит ли вам это, чтобы платить деньги за многочисленные дополнения или же можно пройти мимо и занять себя какой-то иной забавой.

Плюсы: широкий выбор тем, расслабляющий игровой процесс.

Минусы: много платных DLC, иногда игра подтупливает.

If you like puzzles, then this is an okay game. I say it's only okay because as many other people have pointed out, most of the puzzles in the game are DLC. When bought on sale or in a bundle, it's not too bad, but some puzzle packs are like, 6 bucks or more, and they add up very quickly. I think I got most of mine on sale or in bundles, so I haven't spent too much on DLC, but I think I bought a bundle of them through the Steam Store (on sale) for like, $20! That's expensive DLC. I bought it partially because I just love puzzle games and plan on doing all of them (even if it takes me a really long time) but also because I like the sense of accomplishment of getting the entire collection and of getting all of the achievements. Honestly, this game is an achiement hunter's worst nightmare. As of writing this, I think there's over 700 achievements, and you NEED to buy DLC to get them all, because a vast majority of them are finishing puzzles and entire puzzle packs. On an interesting note, if you bought any of the stand alone pixel puzzles games, you already have all of those puzzles in this game free, and they are slightly different because they have different amounts of pieces and possibly different shaped pieces.

Just due to the amount of DLC and the cost of the DLC, I don't think I can recommend this game, unless you don't care about earning achievements, or you really, really, REALLY love puzzles.

I bought this for my Mum as she had enjoyed all the other Pixel puzzle games.
She is very much enjoying this one too, but the sheer amount of DLC means that it's only worth picking up DLC during sales.
The DLC is not on sale very often and it's usually during the large sales it's on special.

As others have said, the UI isn't the greatest, but it eliminates the hassle of actual puzzles being done and losing pieces.

By far the best of the series (for the sheer number of puzzles), Pixel Puzzles Ultimate is a great way to lose track of time. At least if you are into puzzles. If you are an achievement hunter, this will take some time (not least because some of the achievements are for puzzles and sets not released yet). It is a great game, and you can choose which puzzles you want to tackle first/next.

I really am enjoying Pixel Puzzles, it's one of those games that kind of sneaks up on you and turns out to be much more fun than you expected. While it is a free game with downloadable content in the form of extra puzzles there is plenty in the base game to keep you busy and the new content is pretty good and certainly adds to the game. Would recommend this for anyone that is a fan of jigsaw puzzles, puzzles in general or just wants to play something a little different.

I dont mind that you have to pay for all of them.
But I do mind that every ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ DLC has a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ achivement attached to it.
Once installed your achivement completion rate will forever be ruined.

Ultimate? Ultimate ripoff. You can spend over 200 bucks on this game, just to get the opportunity to make different puzzles. I know, you don't have to buy all of them and the main game is for free. But seriously, it's not worth it. Because the game itself has basically no options at all. You can select a theme, a puzzle (and there are no puzzles with less than over 100 pieces) and that's it. No customization at all.

Gameplay: How complicated can it be, to put some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ puzzle pieces together? There is a pool, there are multiple "drawers" where you can put the pieces in and a dozen of options on the right side.

Music & Sound: Good lord, this game has one of the worst soundtracks i've ever heard. I almost think it's the first game ever, where i turned the music off, because i couldn't listen to that ♥♥♥♥ anymore. Seriously, it sounds like a monkey on drugs played some instruments with his ♥♥♥♥.

Graphics: Ah, forget it. I won't judge them. Game is already bad enough.

Fazit: It sucks.

Pixel Puzzles Ultimate is "Free To Play" game. But it's not really free. Free mode would give you a only some sets of the puzzles, and you are required to buy DLC for more. New patch allow you make your game a lot easier by setting "Piece Rotation" to None and "Piece Snap Sensitivity" to 5.

Previous version of Pixel Puzzle only contain 60 to 320 pieces per puzzle. While Ultimate Puzzle allow you to get extra large puzzle, up to 1,400 pieces per puzzle. The more pieces in puzzle make the pieces look smaller, and give you more trouble to snap especially when you turn on the Piece Rotation.

For 100% achievement hunter, you must avoid this game. Why?
1. You must pay more than $100 for all DLCs.
2. Some achievement could only unlocked on certain date. And you are to late to unlock Challenge 1, Challenge 2 and Challenge 3.
3. Dev keep launching 4 DLCs each month and they add the achievement for new DLCs.

In the other hand, if you are a AStats rank achiever, then you could consider this game. This game alone could give you 10,000 AStat point, which could boost you to top 5,000 rank. People don't want to spend more money to buy new DLCs, which make the new DLC achievements become "Epic Achievement" with high score. It's easy, but require money. So we could say it "Pay to Win".

Tato hra je především určena pro milovníky skládačky, které se říká Puzzle. Akorát to není klasické papírové puzzle, ale chcete-li elektronické, prostě počitačové.

Hra je zdarma, jak by jsme řekli free, ale zas to není tak pravda. Je zdarma, ale na skládání máš jenom pár obrázků, zbytek si budeš muset dokoupit, tedy za předpokladu, že tě to bude bavit.

Dejme tomu, že tě to bude bavit, tak si dokoupíš další skládačky, máš na výběr přírodu, hrady, strašidelné, Halloween, Skotsko, Anglie a mnoho dalších skládaček ( DLC ). Ale bohužel ty nejsou zadarmo, pokud jsi opravdový milovník, dáš do toho několik desítek, ale i stovek €.

Obrázky se skládají od 60 dílků po 1410, což opravdu je dost, dost na počítačové puzzle, protože dílky jsou malé, a špatně se skládají.

Hra má tu výhodu, že neztratíte ani jeden dílek.

Hru doporučuji, ale může zde hrozit riziko, že se hra rychle omrzí, ale pokud jsi opravdový milovník puzzle, tak u tebe to zřejmě nehrozí.

[u]DLC doporučuji kupovat v balíčku, ušetřite i 30 % z ceny.

If you are REALLY into jigsaws this can be for you. As someone looking for a bit of a puzzle fix, this wasn't it. The puzzles can be ridiculously tedious due to the sorting. All of the pieces overlap and a lot of the puzzles have so much of the same color that sorting the pieces can take an hour. You only get a handful of puzzles to start with, and the rest of the packs are 3-6 puzzles at $1-9. Overall just not worth the purchase unless this is your favorite type of game and you want to spend a lot of money on it.

Wow un bellissimo passatempo per rilassarsi un pochino. Lo trovo molto divertente ed educativo. Soprattutto per i più piccoli, ho visto che ci sono dei puzzle estremamente diffici. Наконец-то вернули возможность отключить эту у*банскую ротацию! После её отключения кусочки будут находиться под нужным углом, главное нужное место правильно найти.
[u]Моя искренняя благодарность вам, разработчики, за то, что этим фиксом вернули старый добрый дух пазлов![/u] А то собирать пазл из 1000 однотонных деталек, которым ещё и нужный угол наклона надо задать, было как-то не очень весело.

А теперь по основным аспектам игры:

[*] Просто ОГРОМНОЕ количество пазлов, пусть даже 95% из них и платные. Но никто же не заставляет вас покупать их всех за раз и за полную цену, ведь так?
[*] Определённым плюсом является возможность выбрать оформление интерфейса во время сборки пазла. Я предпочитаю минимализм, поэтому Simple - самый оптимальный вариант.
[*] На музыкальное сопровождение плевать, сразу его отрубил. Лучше включите свою любимую музыку или аудиокнигу послушайте, явно больше удовольствия получите.
[*] Почти 1000 достижений! В грядущих обновлениях их явно станет ещё больше, чему я очень рад.

For what it is - which is a casual jigsaw puzzle game, it's pretty good. The range of paid content on offer may be daunting, but it also lets you pick and choose what themes and piece counts you feel like. On the other hand, the interface is still far from comfortable, especially in the main menu, and the game has launched into the first-launch tutorial several times on launch even though I've already put quite some time into this game.

Personally, I like to play it while listening to podcasts and YouTube videos. So far I've put 50+ hours into PPU, and the number is sure to keep rising. There is some free content to get you hooked, so try it for yourself.

UPDATE: 200+ hours now. Guess I really did get into the game.

Являюсь любителем пазлов, пазл-игра такого наполнения в стиме огромная редкость, да еще такая достойная, что бы стоило проиграть в ней кучу времени. Другой такой же не нашел.

UPD: ACHIVMENT HUNTER'Ы НЕ лезьте СЮДА!!!!!

Плюсы:
Графика, отличная проработка воды и четкость изображения.
Музыка, однотипная, но релаксирующая.
В игре присутствуют пасхалки на другие «миры»
Есть сложные пазлы, это подстегивает интерес.
Появились сложные «Испытания», которые рассчитаны на определенное время.
Фиксация части пазла на месте где он должен быть, если Вы поставили его на нужное место.
Zoom, если пазл состоит из 600-1000 деталей он мелкий, увеличение придет на помощь.
Стоимость платных пакетов не высокая, не более 100 рублей, за исключение нескольких тематических (видимо за брэнд пришлось платить).
Постепенно бесплатных пакетов становится больше.

Минусы:
В процентном соотношении бесплатных пазлов меньше, чем платных (они добавляются).
Некоторые платные пакеты содержат лишь один пазл.

Итог:
Игра достойна внимания любителей головоломок. Совет по поводу платных пакетов – покупать пакеты только со скидкой 75% и больше, все-таки нынче кризис, люди GTA V то покупают далеко не за 2000 рублей, так что покупать пакеты головоломок за 3000 рублей это как то дико. Хотя найдутся люди, которые купят за полную стоимость некоторые пакеты, понравившиеся им.

Life, as every other great teacher with sense of humor, mocks you along the way. It's not Life's fault - it's your own.

Being young, inexperienced and lacking knowledge about fundamentals of jigsaw puzzles, I thought putting together small pieces is as interesting as watching paint dry on the wall or slowly and painfully dying with morphine just out of reach. One day, who knows what rendition of digital jigsaw puzzles reintroduced me to concept and voila! here I am, playing and enjoying jigsaw games.

Latest installment in Decaying Logic's Pixel Puzzle series is Pixel Puzzles Ultimate, free-to-play title that doesn't radically differ from other PP titles, although it manages to fix certain problems I've encountered while playing Pixel Puzzles UndeadZ, game that I didn't like at all.

For starters, Pixel Puzzles Ultimate is not limited to certain theme. It allows players to put together different motifs ranging from animals (cats, dogs, reptiles...) to country motifs (Montana, Thailand, Japan, Korea...). Being free to play game, Pixel Puzzle Ultimate employs paid DLC content the expected way: you pay to unlock more themes. Puzzles are organized in theme packs and content varies from pack to pack - from one up to fifteen puzzles per pack. Unlike Microsoft Jigsaw, one of the most polished jigsaw puzzle experiences on PC unfortunately available only to Windows 8 and Windows 10 users, Pixel Puzzles Ultimate will not allow you to earn free puzzles simply by playing. This restricts puzzles behind paywalls and basic users are given three free sets and one complimentary DLC download. This means you will get 13 puzzles ranging from 112 to 1000 pieces which should suffice for several hours. Without paying a cent, you will be able to judge do you want to invest more money in the game.

First time you enter the game, you will be able to accommodate to game controls via short interactive tutorial that also allows you to setup your gaming experience. This includes limiting or turning off annoying floating pieces and customizing rotation and snap to grid options. Snap to grid allows your puzzles to be automatically placed down on board when in correct place and rotated correctly. It is VERY useful if you're running out of patience fast.

You are putting together your puzzles in different themes. Now, themes are pretty interesting concept and can be further customized, depending on a theme. Each consists of different graphic background, sounds and music. Music is definitely a great addition to Pixel Puzzle Ultimate. Each theme consists of several tracks and it's pity you can't mix themes and music - tracks are locked to themes and if you like tracks of one theme and graphic design of another, you will need to decide will you go easy on your eyes or ears.

It's pretty easy to master the PPU's control scheme. You can use mouse/mouse-keyboard combo or controller to move, rotate and place pieces. Pieces can be further categorized with the usage of drawers. Unfortunately, game doesn't allow selecting multiple pieces and moving them at the same time, which makes sorting a grueling task of drag and dropping. It's not that hard when you're working on 112 pieces puzzle, but imagine 1000 pieces. Yes. Drag and drop, all the way.

However, there are few crippling problems that PPU suffers from and these make time spent playing Pixel Puzzle Ultimate less enjoyable.

First of all, Decaying Logic stubbornly insists of strange patterns of puzzle pieces. What's known as traditional puzzle piece design is basically non-existent here and majority of puzzles are made of weird cutouts. This is not the first time Decaying Logic is promoting this contemporary approach to puzzling, it is well known from their other games. I get it, you want to modernize the game, but new isn't always the best, you know? While at one point players can get used to different patterns and use contemporary shapes to easily find missing pieces, players wanting more traditional approach may suffer from lack of enjoyment putting these puzzles together. Also, apparently due to limitations of their engine, puzzles are locked to pieces number. You like Horses DLC's puzzle? Well, get ready to lose your eyesight with 1000 pieces puzzle. No way you can learn about joys of puzzling or maybe introduce your kids to it by working on 50 pieces horses picture. I know, I know, real life puzzles couldn't change number of pieces, but it's 2016 and we're talking digital, and digital should allow us to abolish certain limitations.

Most people know that putting huge puzzles together requires you to (usually) connect bordering pieces, then categorize pieces according to their colors and then build different sections that you later put together. I simply can't understand why PPU doesn't allow players to snap different pieces together outside of main game area. Yes, this means you will not be able to connect pieces that go together and save them for later. This makes sessions so much more exhausting.

Zooming in should help us deal with puzzles more easily. Unfortunately, due to Decaying Logic's implementation of low quality pictures, zooming in only brings another set of problems. If you're working on puzzles with more than 300 pieces, you will need to zoom in to check some details. However, upon zooming in, picture becomes truly blurry. Eyesore causes eyeache and this is the primary reason why I don't recommend anyone with any kind of eye problems and/or headaches caused by straining your eyesight working on anything bigger than 300 pieces and only in session of one hour or so. Puzzle preview can't be zoomed in separately, so using the integrated zoom in question accomplishes nothing.

Low quality pictures aren't the only problem concerning graphics. Beside unintuitive UI that makes puzzle area feel cramped, most packs are bringing boring motifs that don't really get you excited about spending your time hunting for miniature pieces. If you can, try Microsoft Jigsaw and see their packs. Or try mobile jigsaw aps by Kristanix Games and Bandagames and witness the excitement of putting together beautiful photographies. See their cats packs and then come here and see what PPU is offering. PPU' packs seem lazy, lacking quality control and I firmly believe they would make their BEST PACK ever by only asking amateur photographers to submit their photos. Yes, that's how average their packs are.

Here's the first time that I'm aching from the fact we don't have Not Sure recommendation button on Steam. Truth be told, I'm more on red than blue thumb button (no, this is not Trump reference). It seems we only get P2W and badly ported mobile games here on Steam lately and I pray to all the cosmos forces to see Microsoft Jigsaw or similar good mobile game here on Steam. Putting the pieces together should be fun, mind engaging and relaxing experience; however, due to bunch of problems (majority of packs locked behind paywall, low quality photographs, lack of advanced control options and any kind of customization), Pixel Puzzle Ultimate leaves a lot to be desired.

However, due to the fact it's free and it will provide you with few hours of fun with its 13 free (and who knows how many more at some point) puzzles, unless you can't stand weird patterns, I am rating it positively. But if Decaying Logic continues being stuborn and doesn't allow players more freedom, both in controlling options, gameplay experience and free content, the first sign of another puzzle game with different motifs and traditional approach and I'm outta here.

I absolutely love these jigsaw puzzle games.

Pixel Puzzle Ultimate is basically every other Pixel Puzzle game with the jigsaw puzzles as paid DLCs and a few puzzles you can try out for free.
This concept is great as no one will then not know what they are getting into with regards to how the puzzle mechanics works and what the limitations are.

Problem is, the puzzles themselves are just too expensive.
The 40% off intro discount was perfectly fine for a starter pack, but €3 for Angel Wings, which contains one single 1000-piece jigsaw puzzle, feels like a rip-off, and €4 for Cats, though there are 6 puzzles here, is also at the high end. Especially when you look at Pixel Puzzle Japan, the stand-alone game, that contains 19 puzzles for €7, or Pixel Puzzle Birds, another standalone, with 25 puzzles for €9. (all prices are without any timed discounts).

So my advice: Try out the free puzzle and see if this game is for you, then wait until a sale comes around and grab the puzzle packs for a reasonable price.

I have been trying to write a review with no luck so here goes again....
I had the original decaying logic jigsaw , " Pixel puzzles Japan" and always enjoyed it.
I only regretted that there was no way to save my progress .
So when THIS huge collection of new puzzles was released, I immediately snapped it up.
NOW, in these puzzles, there are so many great options, but the main one is that YOU
CAN SAVE PROGRESS!!
You don't need to try to finish in one sitting...so great for the larger puzzles especially!
Other huge pros are;
gorgeous pictures
lovely ambient sounds and music(which can be disabled if so desired)
Very customizable; for one, you can enable rotation or not and can zoom in so it's super easy to find pieces in the pond or in your"stash" in the four trays

So all in all a great collection.
I think , it's refreshing to have games which do not have time limits nor require dexterous fingers....
For me it's a great way to slow down and exercise the brain in a relaxed and peaceful way.

Awesome game if you enjoy jigsaw puzzles. It really does an excellent job of bringing jigsaw puzzles to the computer screen, which is rather difficult if you consider the limited space. I especially like that the developers are listening to the users, and are quick to make changes. In fact, most of the things people have been complaining about in the negative reviews have been fixed in today's patch (9/11/2016).

Update: I just did one of the largest puzzles (1000 pc) to see if the game held up to that many pieces. I'm pleased to report it did remarkably well. The 5 puzzle trays provided ample room to divide the pieces by section, and I just threw them back in the puzzle pool when I was ready to work on that section. It took about the same amount of time to do the puzzle as in real life, with the added benefits of:

- not having to turn all the pieces picture side up
- being able to use my dining room table for dining
- having that warm, cozy feeling of knowing that all the pieces are actually there, and not fallen on the floor to be eaten by my dog (or not even making it into the puzzle box at the manufacturer)
- being able to enjoy the completed result without having to break it down to make room for the next puzzle

All in all, a very enjoyable experience. My only disappointment with the game so far is the lack of a golden retriever puppy puzzle in the dogs pack. Everyone knows they are the cutest!

P.S. For those wanting to put pieces together, then move them as a group, there is a simple workaround. Before putting the pieces together, take one of them and move it around on the puzzle board in the approximate location of where it goes (as can be seen using the puzzle picture). Wait for it to lock in, then just build around it. I did all the horses in "River Crossing" this way before doing the rest of the puzzle. Works like a charm.

I've been a big fan of Decaying Logic's work, and have all the puzzles they put out to date, including the newest ones. I like aspects of this game and how they incorporated some elements from old games and made the new UI, but the new puzzle snap settings (tried all 5) are too tricky for PC-based puzzling, IMHO, and much less tolerant than past versions.

As to the new pay as you go model, with DLC...

It is good that the base game is free and has some puzzles that come with it, but it really should be priced against other PP2 games, which are $10US for 25+ puzzles. Charging 2-3 times that for a puzzle pack is not going to work. Overpricing then discounting is tacky. The only well-priced puzzle at the start is Ukiyo-e for 99c, and then the starter bundle is only slightly overpriced. 4 puzzles for $1US is - trust me on this - the pricepoint to strive for.

As it stands I am going to give a positive review, but I am basing that on optimism that Decaying Logic will market this respectfully and not just make it into a cheap cashgrab.

所謂ジグソーパズルです。日本語なくても大丈夫だと思います。
初回立ち上げ時爆音注意。
左クリックでピースをつかみ、掴んだまんま右クリックでピース回転です。
ピースを正しい場所に置くと軽快な音が鳴りますが、場所の判定は若干シビアかな。
隅っこの方である程度組んだ物のドラッグができないっぽく、そこんとこは不親切だと感じました。

無料なんで気軽に遊んでみて気に入った絵柄があるようなら
別途DLCを購入しても良いのでは。
