泼泼冷水吧。如果想看看缺点，那我这里有。
小时候玩过，当时惊为天人，现在补票，第一感觉就是不值得。没有中文也就算了，毕竟文本量不大，可以勉强理解文本内容。
星球探索多了，也就千篇一律，很重复，给几种换颜色的树加上几个敌对和被动生物。地形上给个门，给个矿洞，这个星球就做完了。
矿石！这玩意很难获取我说白了。探索过几十个星球，稀有扫描攒满了。还是凑不够矿石。游商又少得离谱，空间站基本上都是武器升级商人，想买都没地方买去。好不容易找到矿石商人了，还贵的要死，压根买不起矿石。
射击移动手感更是一坨，不知道为撒大屏玩还有点晕。
指引稀烂。打了一半了才知道有辅瞄。支线任务基本收集不全，只能完成几个小任务。主线任务也要摸索很长时间，更重要的是容易卡关，能量方块拿到手里，钩爪力气太大直接给我扽悬崖了，复活一看方块倒是安装上，任务却识别不出来，卡关了，重读重开都不行。还没有存档是让我重新开始吗？剧情也很老套，一个实验品大战邪恶博士的故事，我卡关了没打完，也不知道还有没有反转。
玩法很新颖，很有趣，但是其他方面太烂了，解决不了体验问题，属于一手好牌打稀烂，难怪热度低，汉化包都搜不到。4/10吧。

I REALLY hope the developer is reading these reviews because I want to let it be known, I think I HAVE FOUND IT!!! Is the game perfect? No. Does it open the doorway for something that could change history? OH YES!!! The Metroid Prime Clone! Listen, I like the game. I am going to play more of it. I really hope this turns, dare I say, a Metroid killer. I wish the best of luck! I can't wait to continue playing it.
a quirky little adventure, I am slowly growing to appreciate such simple yet complex storytelling all in wonderful low poly goodness.
As much as I want to like this game, I just can't give a positive recommendation. In short, the game is full of glaring, tedious, and harmful bugs, the basic gameplay just doesn't offer very much to entertain the player and requires mostly walking and scanning identical polygons hundreds of times. There are elements of a good game here, but they're overshadowed by an extreme lack of polish or thought put into the design. [u]In its current state, this game is flat-out not worth playing.[/u]
You'll notice while playing the story missions that they can break very easily. The developers had some extreme tunnel vision and thought the players would take certain routes on the terrain, and did not account at all for how the game would function if you, say, dropped down from a cliff a few steps earlier than they arbitrarily thought you would. You will miss the trigger for the next part of the mission for no reason, and if you do something else in the meantime, run the risk of soft-locking your save for good.
In order to gain any upgrades that'll make you faster, be able to scan from further away, do more damage, generally make the game less slow and repetitive, you need to gather a LOT of resources from visiting a LOT of planets, then hope you get lucky and find a space station that has the upgrade station you're looking for. I went almost my entire playthrough visiting every space station I found before I saw my first tool upgrade merchant. I didn't even realize you COULD upgrade your weapons and scanner until then.
Walking across the planets to gather resources and scans takes quite a while, and the landscapes look mostly the same. Sure, there's a charm to the low-poly and low shading style, but it doesn't work well here when not accompanied by environmental elements that help distinguish different areas. It's laughably easy to get turned around and lost on the non-story planets, and the map only helps a little.
Many important upgrades are locked behind rare scans, something you're only going to find if you're willing to scan the exact same thing you've already scanned, several dozen times. Traversing mostly barren land just to point and click at this same thing again and hope it's a rare scan this time, and hope your rare scan was the one you needed.
Now, I don't think this game is irredeemable, there's a lot of work put into it that's just waiting for a chance to shine. Here are some things that I think would go a long way toward improving Morphite.
1) Mark space stations from the system and star maps with what upgrade stations they have and the names of quests in those systems after you've visited them. Just having to randomly guess where your missions were and which stations had your upgrades is incredibly annoying.
2) [b]Add a sprint key.[/b] I'm serious, just that little addition would do so much. Disallow tool/weapon usage while sprinting if you need, but let the player cross terrain faster, it's so incredibly tedious. More traversal options in general would be good, but sprinting is a good start.
3) The base scan distance needs to be longer, and you should be able to tell if there's a rare scan nearby without needing to run around and click every individual object. It's a waste of the player's time and offers no value to the game the way it currently is.
4) Add more random objects to non-story planets, allowing the player to navigate easier and remember where they've been. Better yet, add the ability to put waypoints on the map and lock the map orientation.
5) Fix the sound effects on Myrah's voice. The helmet comms effect is present on her voice lines even when she's not wearing the helmet. Small gripe, but it's very visible and I'm surprised this wasn't caught.
6) Re-do the scripting for story missions and the relevant triggers on the map. Seriously, it should not be this easy to accidentally break the game and have to restart from the beginning.
7) [b]ADD MISSION MARKERS.[/b] Currently, when you receive a side-quest, you get no indication of where you need to go unless it's a little task on the space station you received it on, or in the rare cases the mission description tells you where it is. Saying "in the current system" isn't good enough when there are multiple other planets in the system that will take ages to explore and you aren't likely to get anything useful from your time there. You get bored and fly somewhere else. Then, that mission description is EXTRA useless because you don't even know where you got it from.

ehhhh, I'd say pass on this one unless you can get it get it under 5 bucks. It's a low poly No Man's Sky with a lot of flaws.
I want to like this game. The art is great and the overall world seems full of mystery and character. The story seems interesting...
but my goodness is it boring and buggy. So many bugs I had to stop playing. So many different worlds you can explore... but they are all the same. Cool creators but nothing much else. You can land on a world, and if it isn't a world for the story there is nothing else to do but scan things and maybe get some upgrade material. With a lack of a sprint feature and character speed so slow it makes exploring a chore.
This game feels like No Mans Sky at launch, but worse. It saddens me.

9 hours in and the game started glitching out. Key parts of the UI became corrupted and I was unable to progress because I could not craft some thermal upgrade that I needed to be able to get to some kinds of planets.
I came back to see if it would be worth giving it another shot. Reading other peoples reviews it seems the game is still buggy and it probably never got the testing it needed. Seems it was abandoned by the developers a year after release. I assume it just never sold as well as they hoped and it probably should be pulled from the store.
It's a shame because it was fun. A kind of off-brand No Man's Sky that actually does some things better. Shame a lot of people who play it will probably never be able to finish it.

This is a poor-man's-NMS which is best bought on a deep sale. It doesn't feel as bloated as NMS, and once it clicks it gets quite addictive, but don't spend more that $5 on it, or you'll think the game is "too bad for the price".

I unfortunately experienced several bugs such as missing textures, clipping through the graphics and getting stuck, falling through the ground etc. There is also a weird flight mode that you can't get out of without restarting. Then I hit some bug which prevented my from continuing the story so I called it quits. At least an hour of my steam time is replaying the same part over and over trying to get the next checkpoint but the game was stuck.
Regardless my enjoyment was already waning as the game-play ultimately gets very repetitive. The main mechanic of scanning flora and fauna just becomes a chore because you can't tell which ones you've already scanned as a lot of things just look the same.
Your millage may vary of course but its a no from me.

Basic, but funny game.
Late in the game, I was locked out of obtaining the final item by accidentally sequence breaking (no out of bounds, simply revisting a previous area earlier than intended), ending the mission prematurely and softlocking my entire save.
This game is really fun. I enjoy the gameplay loop and just the art of dropping down somewhere and exploring is very fun. Ive actually had lots of memorable moments when a monster is faster than I expected or I see some terrain generation that takes me by surprise. I do feel like one more update could have made a few more places a bit more varied or added some more interact-able objects/environments (space stations are a lot less dynamic than planets) but as a simpler game it still has a lot to it. Also fast travel to story planets you've already been to would be something neat to unlock.
I'd say the main issue with it is outside the game, in that it never took off to get important things like a Wiki (either official or fanmade) which hampers things when you feel confused, or need some clarification on the controls or if you're curious and want to see what the later progression is like. So info is a bit split up and you have to do digging more than you should. Also a lack of a soundtrack is a shame since the ambient music is great. A lot of games are really enhanced by things like these out of game experiences, but I cant really knock the game for it specifically. Plus it does help you feel truly alone and exploring the universe. In the end I recommend it.
Beautiful. Absolutely beautiful. Everything is so well aesthetically done down to the music and even just looking around. This game is so relaxing to play on free roam. I've bought this game multiple times now on other platforms because of this.

its fun at first, until they introduce the grappling hook and the racing. theres quite a few bugs still. but thats what seperates this game from being loved to just liked. still very enjoyable and for 15 bucks ive played quite a bit.
Morphite is a mobile ported minimalist/low poly story driven FPS game where you play the role of a space traveller collecting bioscans and exploring different low poly planets in search of a substance called Morphite.
This isn't a terrible concept but the implementation is a blend of "okay" and "godawfully terrible decision making" and "hamfisted zoomer highschool dropout tier talent". Voice acting, story and game concept have traction here, but the developer then decided not to hire any artist or designers or computer graphics people and used very lazy low poly "art". Was this because of a lack of budget, or talent? Either way, it looks lazy and terrible, despite a lot work apparently having gone into it. Why spend a lot of effort making things look bad? If you're going to put lipstick on a pig, don't spend weeks doing it, pretending you're a makeup artist. They also used procgen instead of handcrafting the content, presumably for the same reasons they tried to use low poly graphics as a substitute for modern PC graphics.
A lot of things are heavily dumbed down and designed to appeal to mobile peasants. Which means the game falls below expectations for PC.
Here's the nail in the coffin. Once more we see greedy mobile devs trying to scam PC gamers. They want $15 USD for this on Steam, but they give it away free on Android. Mobile devs must learn PC gamers are not here to be gouged, and can't be expected to pay a premium for a free mobile game just because it's been lazily dumped on Steam.

Is this a good game? It could be. But i can't get the gdm game to be stable, crach is 50/50 chance when i load a planet or checkpoint. Also, i can't rebind my keys. Playing on a azerty that is a HUGE PAIN. Well you can start the game pressing Ctrl. And you get a window to rebind keys. But even that wont work! used to be qwerty. But rebinding to azerty i now get wasd instead of zqsd to move. Just terrible controls.

I was quite surprised that Morphite was able to hold my interest for as long as it did.
It is an indie version of No Man's Sky, and the gameplay loop is fairly fun. Unfortunately it's incredibly buggy.
You go down to planets, you scan animals, you shoot animals, you find minerals, you go to stations, you sell your stuff and you upgrade your ship and weapons. You do all this while progressing through a fairly mediocre story. It doesn't sound that interesting, but Morphite manages to do this really well.
Morphite is very much about chilling and meandering. The natural progression and upgrade systems always create a simple goal, I was able to follow. The planets are distinct and the animals are nice to look at. The game also throws in other smaller elements, every few hours making the game always interesting. We have space events, space fights, grappling hooks and fun puzzle sections, as well as boss fights and funny story events. The gameplay is surprisingly not grindy, even though I expected that from a game like this.
It all sounds really good, sadly Morphite is an indie game and it that really shows, because it's full of bugs and glitches. Geometry doesn't always have collision, animals can hit you from far away, missions you have completed repeat, if you land on the same planet twice. Clipping through puzzles happens often. Checkpoints don't always work.
What finally broke the game was a bug that happened while I was shooting and entering a cutscene. After the cutscene was over all my guns needed to be aimed half a screen lower to connect. This made the game unplayable.
There were other smaller issues, like terrible enemy AI, boring combat, all weapons feeling identical, no settings, difficult controls, random location for upgrade stations, side quests that are just checklists without meaning etc. These didn't break the game... The bugs did.
This is why I ultimately can't recommend this, even though I enjoyed most of my time with the game.

Pastelowa monotonia. Dla mnie gra na 5/10, czyli przeciętnie. Jednak przechylam się na nie ze względu na małe urozmaicenie planet jakie odwiedzamy, na którym nie ma co robić. Przeskanujemy do max 10 elementów fauny i flory na danej planecie i w sumie tyle. Ogólnie w grze odwiedzamy planety, skanujemy na nich faunę i florę, niekiedy strzelamy do wrogich zwierząt i tubylców, zbieramy minerały, czasem pohandlujemy i w sumie tyle. Skany możemy zamieniać na kasę, za którą można ulepszyć nasz kombinezon, wyposażenia a także statek (ale tylko w określonych miejscach).
Gra posiada główny wątek. Nijaki i dla mnie z błędami, które w tej grze jednak występują i trzeba było posiłkować się resetem. Oprawa wizualna - very low poly, audio - poniżej przeciętnej, gameplay - monotonny. Grę wyhaczyłem w jakimś bundlu - za pełną a nawet za pół kwoty tej gry bym nie kupił.

Oyunu ilk defa Android platform da Google Play Store'da keşfettim. Oyun First Person bir bakış açısı ile oynananıp binlerce gezegenden ve uzay istasyonundan oluşan bir açık dünyası mevcuttur. Her gezegende farklı yapılar, farklı medeniyetler, farklı bitkiler ve hayvan türleri mevcuttur. Bunun haricinde oyun muhteşem bir hikayeye ve görev sistemine sahip. Böyle bir küçük yapımdan çok da beklenmeyecek kadar zengin çeşitlilik sahibi olması gerçekten şaşırtıcı. Türkçe çevirisi olmadığı için çoğu kişi belki çoğu şeyi anlamakta zorluk çekebilir fakat 2 kelime de çeviri yeteneğiniz olsa çok da ayıp olmazdı bence. Oyun belki diğer açık dünya uzay oyunları ile karşılaştırılamaz ama yarışacak kadar potansiyeli olan bir yandan da geliştirilmemesi üzücü olan bir yapım. DLC'ler yada yeni yamalar ile çok fazla şey eklenebilecek bir geleceği olduğunu bilmek heyecan verici fakat şirketin ölü mod da olması yapımı ziyan ediyor bence. Alın uzun süreler oynayın 0 pişmanlık ve bol eğlence ile kütüphanenizde uykuya bırakın.

I don't often write reviews but I have no idea how this game has a mostly positive rating, this game is a bare bones FPS clearly ported from mobile with a modicum of effort to make it work on PC.
There is barely any content and the content that is included is dull, the voice actors are serviceable but seem to have no passion for the script (which I'm not surprised considering the game would be better off without one). The game is full of bugs to a point that I don't understand how they felt it acceptable to release.
I'm not gonna say that alot of the reviews are paid for but even release day NMS was a magnitude better than this game can ever dream to be.
Based on my ~1h experience I cannot recommend this game. It looks like a cheap version of No Man's Sky. You could say that low poly aesthetics are design choice, but I think it's just an easy solution for getting a lot of work done quickly and effortlessly. There is somewhat interesting story in the game, but the gameplay loop is boring and uninspiring. You scan large amounts of objects (like plants or animals) which get's boring very quickly and fight some simple enemies who constantly walk into the walls (suggesting lack of polish). Music is good but voices sound like recorded using very amateurish equipment. There's plenty of better games than this one.
Morphite is a mixed bag. Ultimately, I found it worth finishing but it also is an unpolished, buggy, glitchy mess.
The main game follows a simple story-line leading you to fly to different star systems, land on hand-crafted space stations and planets, collect currency and other resources and lifeform or tech scans to upgrade your ship, suit and tools to unravel the narrative while fighting a few bosses along the way. There is a bit of grind that can be done on procedurally generated planets and space stations.
This layout prompted many comparisons to No Man's Sky - which is fair for the base concepts but in the way they are implemented (depth, usability) the games quickly distinguish themselves. Now, I have not played NMS, so I will only say: You cannot fly around on planets and flying around in star systems is only ever confusing. Also, this game is clearly low-poly.
As the draft of my review closes in on 2000 words, I decided to change focus and only highlight some things.
Hint: You may want to manually keep track of visited systems and planets, and maybe which resources they offered. The game barely supports that.
Hint: Return objects in main missions as soon as possible or the game may glitch and a return will no more be possible, e.g. the car part for the race. Although glitchy, this does not block game progress.

Despite and a bit because of its many problems, I recommend to buy Morphite at 50+% discount. It started of interesting, soon dampened by mediocre story-telling, 100%-ing achievements became a chore.
I wanted to like this game. I really, really wanted to. But playing through the game, and seeing the many, many bugs that haven't been fixed, including gamebreaking ones that mandate that you start over from the beginning as there's just one savegame slot, and it is automatically overwritten at every checkpoint.

When I was on a lava planet near the end of the game, collecting hieroglyphics, the first time I walked past the initial hieroglyphics piece and picked up the second piece first. This broke some scripting, as despite returning and picking up all the pieces, there was no way to make the cutscene trigger after returning with all the pieces. I tried reloading from checkpoint, no go. Doing the planet over again, no go. No way of completing the quest, and thus no way of completing the game.
If such bugs were to be fixed, I'd change my recommendation to a positive one. But as it is, with the scripting a fragile thing and not programmed for robustness, I can't give this a thumbs-up.

刚进游戏的时候的映象就是，喵的，这不是无人深空么，实际体验才发现，这款游戏虽然无时无刻不显露出无人深空的影子，但是它既不无人，也不深空。
不无人是因为，游戏有着很多没有五官菱形脸的NPC，当然主角也是没有五官的，谈不上诡异吧，看着还是很奇怪，因为这个游戏的剧情占了很大一部分，所以npc并不是个摆设，而且有着专业的配音，听起来相当舒服，不会很尬。
不深空是因为，虽然主打探索，但是其实自由的余地并不是很多，没有无人深空那种完全开放的世界，大部分时间还是得按照基本法，一步一步做任务，升级武器。
游戏虽然说是个FPS，但是射击要素聊胜于无，右键就可以自瞄，在射击上的难度基本没有，手持一把激光枪，击中反馈基本没有，要是这是一款单纯的FPS，那肯定是渣到不能再渣的那种。而且游戏的控制也异常鬼畜，仿佛这个宇宙里，到处都抹了油，走路手感总是滑滑的，虽然不算很糟糕，但是体验上也让我不是很爽。
游戏主打探索，外加少量的解密，基本都有提示，没什么难度，制作组更想让玩家体验这个世界，体验故事，因此在探索世界上的体验会比较好，虽然限制颇多，号称星球随机生成，反正可以探索的东西其实很多，比较适合闲不住的玩家玩。
游戏最大的亮点就是音乐相当出色，推荐带耳机玩，深邃的宇宙，空灵的声音，跳动的音符，这个BGM实在很合我口味，前面也提到了，游戏的配音相当专业，细节音效也很出色，在苦闷的探索中，优秀的音效是相当重要的。
简而言之，这是款小品级的探索类FPS，可以说是低配版“有人浅空”，不是十分优秀，但是也值得一玩。

Игра кайфовая, мульти но ман скай. К сожалению нет русского языка, но это уже мои проблемы.
作为crescent moon games的游戏，可以说是太了不起了，根本就是里程碑。比起曾经惊骇众人的aralon和ravensword，后来的exlie，以及各种稍显粗糙的掌上大作，morphite更像是很坦诚地接受自己是款小制作，但是总体游戏设计布局都颇为周到。
简单地说，各种no man sky的影子，但是却青于蓝，支线任务一大堆，武器种类也相当丰富，任务引导也很人性化，特殊制作过的星球也很多，玩上去比起探索游戏确实更有一份探险解密游戏的感觉，最鲜明的例子就是metroid prime吧。
当然，光看预告之类的就知道是什么艺术风格了，而游戏中后期有特点的环境构造也相当也让人眼前一亮。但是！！你能玩到中后期吗？我知道我玩到中期真是坚持不住了，什么垃圾游戏，还不如回去玩土豆厂的流水线3a。支线任务完全靠乱碰，资源管理十分原始，野兽ai很傻但也很烦人。如果这些还不是弃坑的理由的话，那么这游戏超强的小学生阅读可以让你靠着椅子背开始读新闻，就这么夸张。地图探索也相当乏味，就算是买了速度升级，依旧超低的fov和vaperwave还是啥的那种强对比度画面看的人头晕目眩，玩一阵子必然要出去呼吸下新鲜空气否则得憋死。
但我还是给了好评，毕竟新月下一部ravensword也要做成这个风格了，而此作也让我多少有些放心，制作人员还是些有理想有才能的非凡之辈。
This game surprised me quite a bit, knowing it was an IOS game i didn't expect to put 21 hours into it. Combat is pretty simple, you see enemies you shoot em up, for a while you'll have just a pistol but things get a little more interesting when you get the charge laser. There are shops littered around on planets and space stations where you upgrade your weapons damage, fire rate and accuracy etc. You can only get new weapons by doing story missions though so if you want to do a lot of exploration early on you'll probably end up upgrading your pistol quite a lot.
In addition to the weapons you get some gadgets such as a grappling hook and a wand that generates holo platforms, these items become integral to the missions after you get them so you'll have plenty of opportunities to use them and they switch up the gameplay a bit too. The exploration is pretty cool too, if you like the graphics you'll like seeing how different environments are represented by this graphic style. Scanning plants and critters might become tedious over time for some but i found it kind of addicting early on. Only thing i didn't really like was the space combat, you cant really maneuver the ship at all, you have a dodge button which tilts the ship but i didn't find it that useful
Also i want to praise the developers for the story line and characterization in this game, it isn't complicated or complex but i found it kind of wholesome. The main character Myrah reminded me a lot of April Ryan from The Longest Journey games.

Morphite — это казуальный No Man`s Sky на минималках. Здесь проще все — графика, управление и бои. Эта игра точно не про выживание. Скорее она про исследования неизвестных планет и про сюжет. Много лет уже ходят слухи о загадочном объекте Морфите. Он очень редкий, ценный и мало кому удавалось найти его. Во время своего первого исследования планеты, нашей героине посчастливилось найти символ Морфита и она решает идти по зацепкам, ведущим к нему.

Геймплей довольно прост. Вы садитесь в космолет и указываете пункт назначения. Корабль самостоятельно летит до планеты и выбрасывает исследовательскую капсулу с вами на поверхность. Далее вы ходите и сканируете инопланетную флору и фауну, расстреливаете бесхозные ящики и кнопки открывания дверей. Разумеется, порой нужно отстреливаться от агрессивных обитателей.
По ходу исследования часто приходится встречать необычные постройки, которые нужно исследовать для продвижения по сюжету.
Просканировав и собрав все, вы вызываете капсулу, которая поднимает вас на космолет.
Затем вы летите на станцию где продаете все данные сканирования, покупаете патроны и улучшаете снаряжение и корабль, заправляете космолет.
И так повторяется много раз. Каждый раз новая флора и фауна, новые станции со своим дизайном. Но меняется только форма, а
содержание, по-сути, остается тем же. Та же проблема была в No man`s sky, где планеты и их обитатели, по сути, почти ничем не отличались, кроме визуала. За отыгранное время я ни разу не встретил пустых планет без признаков жизни. Не видел также и действительно необычных планет, которые бы меня удивили. Во многом эти планеты очень похожи на разные климатические зоны на нашей родной Земле.
Как уже было сказано, это No man`s sky на минималках. Минималистичность здесь во всем. Простые минималистичные модели объектов, минимум деталей ландшафта, простое управление, казуальный геймплей без заморочек и особого вовлечения. Крафта и строительства (Ура!) нет. Взаимодействие с кораблем минимально. Им нельзя управлять напрямую — все делает автопилот.
Цветовая гамма довольно яркая и необычная. Но фиолетовые деревья и оранжевые здания понравятся не всем. На моем стриме по игре подписчики писали, что цветовая гамма им не зашла. Впрочем, это на любителя — мне понравилась.

+ Добрая игра. Morphite не провоцирует жестокость. Большинства схваток можно избежать, а если она началась, то можно просто убежать.

- В игре нет симуляции жизни — все живые существа, включая обитателей станции, просто хаотично перемещаются вокруг. Они даже не будут реагировать если вы будете разбивать контейнеры в магазине.
- Примитивный ИИ. Существа путаются в текстурах, не понимают как обойти препятствия.
- Разнообразная однообразность. Видов животных и растений очень много, но многие из них просто повторяют имеющиеся аналоги на планете Земля. Желтая ёлка — это все еще ёлка, а фиолетовая рыба — все еще рыба, как и олень с закругленными рогами — всего лишь олень. Впрочем, необычные существа тоже есть и их довольно много.
- Лицевая анимация отсутствует. Впрочем, для меня это не важно.
- Нет русской локализации.

Good idea, good elements, sloppy execution. I visited planets that started story scenes far beyond where I was in the main quest, I would accidentally overcome puzzles by just walking to the goal, and an area on a wrecked station had patches of floor that I'd fall through to instant death, or hallways where I would "fall" sideways through a wall and outside the map to die. Sometimes I would dock with a station with text on screen saying I was landing on a planet, sometimes I'd scan an animal for the first time on a new planet and told I already have it, but scanning a second animal would succeed. I wish I coudl recommend this game but it needs too many repairs.

Morphite te da una experiencia tranquila, visualmente muy bonita, en la que debemos ir completando diferentes misiones mientras exploramos distintos planetas.
Sus mecánicas son muy simples, escanear los objetos para saber más de ellos (y venderlos para conseguir dinero), matar enemigos (muy simplones pero que hacen bien su función de relleno) y explorar, explorar planetas bastante grandes, diferentes unos de otros, con distinta fauna y enemigos.
Tendremos a nuestra disposición un grupo de misiones que debemos ir haciendo si queremos completar el juego, por lo cual no te dejan tirado diciendo "Bueno, diviertete como puedas"
Es un buen juego para aquellos que les gusta lo lineal y para los que no, para entretenerte con misiones secundarias o ir directamente a la principal, o simplemente explorar planetas en busca de nuevas especies.

Simplistic approach, very effective and a lot of fun! The few things I absolutely loved when playing NMS was the scanning for unknown creatures and lifeforms. Oh yeah, the artifacts too, except in Morphite, you actually enter an ancient temple, explore it and ultimately find the artifact which is hidden there. You need a key and the story campaign actually teaches you how such a key works. It also shows a very in depth story and tension, you know there is something going on and you just want to know more about it.
And all those random planets... Oh boy, this game feels it can last endlessly.
[h1] After I beat the endboss in the campaign, I could keep playing and going to other planets and explore it's riches. Like, the game actually starts once you have completed the campaign... Because you gained the final ability! [/h1]
I still have some items to collect. The game does keep track which planet you have visited and which not, except for the planets that were the story mission planets. You can revisit it, maybe finding some secrets there, artifacts, trinkets, but just leave when you think you can't find anything.
I totally recommend this game!

まったり雰囲気ゲーが好きな人に向いたゲーム。動作も軽い。日本語はないが雰囲気で察することが出来る。問題なし。
イメージとしては、建築要素が無くパズル要素の濃いStar boundのFPS版といったところか。大量に探索可能な惑星が存在するが、メインストーリーに登場する惑星のようには作りこまれてはいないので、何度か惑星探索を終えていると、初めて来た惑星でも既視感があることが少なくない。やはりメインストーリーをメインに遊ぶゲームだと思う。
ゲームの大雑把な流れは、メインストーリーを進める過程で新しいアイテム(能力)を獲得して、次のメインの現場についたらそれらを生かして新しいタイプのパズルを解くという感じ。ゆるいけれどボス戦もある。
独特なローポリ？グラフィック表現に力を入れており、メインストーリーで足を運ぶことになるある惑星では、非常に美しいグラフィックを堪能できる。
視野角の変更ができない仕様になっているので酔いやすい人には向かないが、ダンボールか何かで視野角を調整するためのゴーグルを自作して使っている人がいるらしいので、詳細な情報があるかは知らないけれど、探して見ると他のゲームにも役立つかもしれない。
あるボス戦について、ひとつヒント。壊さなければいけないジェネレーターは2つある。
強くお勧めとはいわないけれど、悪くはないです。
The game was going good. I liked the minimalist colorful graphics. But then the language showed up. Even though the T rating didnt include "language" in it, there was the notorious "S-word" in the game. The hero was already talking too much and to add insult to her dumb dialogue, she had to resort to swearing like this. I stopped playing after this point. It really made me very angry that such language had to be dumped in the game like this. Kit kat being this cute little robot saying "damn" also seemed totally unnecessary and just more dumb dialogue. The kit kat character along with the cute creatures in the game, colorful cartoony graphics, lack of blood and gore, also made it seem as if this was an E rated game. But seems like i was wrong. I don't care what anyone says, this is a big pet peeve of mine and i wont let it happen ever again. I played the Metroid games and there wasn't this ridiculous language, and Metroid is rated T. Besides the language, some of the dialogue is dumb anyway and i think the characters talk too much, which leads to stupid language. I also ran into a few minor bugs in the game. I also thought the game was too easy, and it got a little repetitive at times. I'll stick with Metroid.
Taken as a whole Morphite has its issues. Some of these problems can be incredibly jarring, but even so, the good aspects of the game rise above them. A lot of attention has been paid to creating evocative and engaging alien worlds, which those who love exploring environments are bound to appreciate. I doubt that the story is going to rock anyone’s world, but it does a fair job of supporting the interesting exploration mechanics, as well as gradually introducing new weapons and items.

I definitely recommend this game it is relaxed and just beautiful.
What I wish for are regular updates with new content and I already have some ideas.

hello now after several years I started it again and had to find out that there were no more updates... so should you see the developers this I have a few suggestions that would massively upgrade the game and make it more interesting.
first thanks that you have made the free flying pure. so to my suggestions.
1. economic system
2. more complex random quests.
3. more ships
4. a more open universe.
5. walkable spaceship
6. boarding of npc ships.
7. more planet variety and complexity.
8. maybe smoke recovery from space ships both in space and on planets.
9. become active as a pirate yourself.
10. prisons when you get caught.
11. collect bounties or get some yourself.
the game in itself is great and has a lot of untapped potential. i would love to see all of this added in a major update.
Sometimes when im bored. I fly through the universe and convince myself morphite is real.
I hesitate to fully recommend this game, though my experience is mostly positive.
Morphite is a casual first-person Metroid-like game with an open world atmosphere and a somewhat interesting storyline. The main character is in search of a rare material called Morphite, and will be sent on a main mission that will lead her towards its discovery. In between missions, you are free to explore universe and collect materials to upgrade your equipment.
I consider Morphite casual because it doesn't force you to complete the main storyline right away. There is action-oriented combat when you approach aggressive creatures, but so far even the boss battles haven't been very exciting. What amuses me the most are the side missions. You can find some really bizarre requests if you talk to anyone and everyone you come across. From popping bubbles to free floating family members, to roasting marshmallows and throwing them into waiting maws, there are some fun things to do when you just wander around on your own.
Scanning can be fairly relaxing, if not a bit repetitive. There is a feeling of satisfaction from scanning all the creatures on a planet, especially since there is a purpose to it: Selling the common scans for money, and using the rare ones to upgrade your equipment. Unfortunately, this mechanic has a frustrating side to it. Scanning seems to work based on proximity, rather than direction; i.e., I may point the scanner at an insect in front of me, but if I'm standing right next to a flower, the scanner will want to scan the flower first, even if I'm not facing that direction. This turns what should be a completely satisfying event into a series of frustrating maneuvers, especially when you're trying to scan something aggressive before it can attack you.
I like that the space stations seem to be alive with activity. Often times you'll find residents who want to challenge you to minigames or ask you to do something around the station. I have even engaged in a few fights. I'm still not sure what purpose there is to buying food on the stations. I bought some cheesecake once, but all the game did was let me walk around with it in my hands.
For that matter, I'm still not sure what land vehicles and tamed animals are for. Every once in a while you'll find a village on a planet, and someone in that village will offer to let you rent their car or riding animal. The only time this wasn't a waste of money for me was when I landed on a planet with wide, open fields that I could cruise around. Most other planets have hills or stone "stairs" you have to hop on, and I haven't found a mount yet that can navigate them.
There are several mechanics in this game that I really like: 1) The ability to summon your drop pod. When you visit a planet, you drop down in a pod while your ship stays in orbit. Rather than having to walk all the way back to the pod, you can throw down a beacon and summon the pod to it. The beacon will automatically adjust itself to a safe spot, or let you know if there isn't one in close enough proximity.
2) Your health, fuel, and shields all recharge with enough time. While this mechanic does make the game seem super simple at times, it also saves me the trouble of abandoning a mission when it's barely just begun, which I appreciate.
3) Once you are technically out of ammo, your gun will slowly recharge up to a maximum of five rounds. This came in very hand in the beginning of the game, when the gun's ammo capacity is small.
I am, however, very frustrated by the upgrade system. The chambers used to upgrade your suit aren't found on every planet or station, so you might have all the ingredients and money in the world, and still have weak equipment because you can't find a place to get upgrades.
Again, if you're a casual gamer, this might be the action game for you. It's fairly simplistic in gameplay and graphics style, which can be great after a long day at work. But, if you're the kind of person who prefers heart-pounding action at the end of your day, this will not get your blood pumping at all.

Great game with subpar but beautiful graphics. It's fun to go around from solar system to solar system, scanning everything you see and fighting huge monsters with a dinky little pistol. My biggest issues with the game so far is that sometimes the story doesn't give entirely clear instructions on what to do or where to go next, although i can usually eventually figure it out. Entering one of the capsule things where you can upgrade your armor, visor, and boots usually completely freezes the game and almost all the lag i'd normally experience on my mac with Morphite up is gone, even though it's still up. I have to restart the computer to force quit Morphite and start up again. I love seeing the little upgrade station but i'm now hesitant to enter one. Fix this please.
Hmm this is another game I have a hard time giving a positive/negative review for since overall I LOVED THE DAYLIGHTS OUT OF THIS GAME! Why am I giving it a negative review? Overall this game has a bit of a problem once you get half way through the story. Once you get the hover feature you can kind of easily sequence break this game.
This is something apparent on the next major story planet you can visit, Octillon (if I remember right) which allows you to skip nearly the entire planet and jumping up to the third planetary arc fragment VERY EARLY. This is a major problem cause you skip a few cutscenes, and I believe a fight with a boss which you cannot redo if you collect the arc fragment.
I stopped after that point. Before this I'll say this game was whole heartedly enjoyable. The biggest complaint I have outside of that is that each planet you land on is somewhat randomized what is on it. Besides story planets that is. So some planets have loads of planetlife and virtually no animals, others have no plantlife and tons of animals and lots of mineral deposits.
The biggest problem though is that often you will land on a planet that is like 90% empty space. There is NOTHING on the entire planet, which makes it feel empty.
the other major thing is I wish there was a way to turn OFF the enhanced clarity upgrade because it makes seeing underwater an IMMENSE PAIN. I got more lost underwater with the upgrade on than I ever did without it, sometimes in the bigger underwater areas getting lost for 3-5 minutes due to not being able to tell my orientation since everything's so DARK!
But the colors in this game are incredibly vibrant it truely gives you the feeling of exploring alien worlds. So its up to you what you make out of Morphite.
Pretty cool fps game, with lo-fi graphics. If you like (somehow) No Man's Sky you'll like this one.

So many minor problems that add up too fast to enjoy.
The scanner has a 2 foot range and it has a tendency to turn off if blocked. unreliable for being chased by something hostile. The models also appear similar, so you constantly need to scan everything and get an error message saying you already scanned this. Also no discrepency to what can and cannot be scanned, plus animals are too fast to keep up with a laggy camera. Scanning is the main way to get money for upgrades, which are the only way to play the game without losing your sanity or dying. I have to assume this last part because the upgrade system needs a complete overhaul. I couldn't select anything to upgrade because the same button to select moves the category for what you're upgrading. I played 90 mins of a fool's errand to get credit to upgrade tech, just to find out that the game is too unpolished to actually upgrade any of it. I would be fine with all this if the game were in early access, but this is unacceptable if its finished. Needs some work done.
Too many bugs for me to recomend it. Price would suggest a much more polished game.

O jogo é muito bom! VI algumas pessoas no Brasil reclamando do preço, mas vale lembrar que nas promoções que rolam aqui ele pode acabar ficando bem barato. Acontece que os desenvolvedores colocam o preço padrão já pensando nisso.

Quem curte jogos com visual original e muito conteúdo, eu recomendo. Porém, vale lebrar que ele é um jogo desenvolvido por um estúdio independente, que na minha opinião fez um ecxelente trabalho levano isso em consideraçãao. O jogo tem garantido 15 horas de campanha, e como eu curto história, pra mim achei que valeu a muito a pena. Para quem quiser ficar explorando o jogo, ele vai durar bem mais.
Só recomendo que aguarde as promoções do Steam se você quiser economizar, quem pagar um bom preço vai ver que vale a pena.
Had to quit playing. I was getting motion-sickness from this. I play Overwatch frequently and have a long history of FPS experience and I've never had an issue before (as best as I can remember). Adding to the motion-sickness, the game's audio is pretty rough; the sounds all felt flat and even though I was listening with earbuds in, it still sounded like I was hearing the game through my phone's speaker.
I didn't get very far in the game, but frankly, I'm not at all interested to. I got the gist of the game in the first quarter hour. I'm sure other reviews on here can speak more in depth about the game's mechanics but essentially you walk around and scan some items littered throughout the sparsely populated areas and sometimes you can shoot things. It wasn't very fun and the graphics look nice in screenshots, but in motion the animations are stiff and artificial.
I can't reccomend Morphite.
[h1] Morphite Is A Decent Game That Has Flaws [/h1]
Morphite is an Indie FPS game about a woman called Myrah who explores planets to get resources for her father’s shop. One day, when she is exploring a planet, she encounters a strange object called Morphite. After getting some use from the Morphite, soldiers appear, prompting Myrah to go back to her ship and tell her father. Of course, he doesn’t believe her, so Myrah goes to explore what these soldiers are actually up to.
While the story isn’t all that groundbreaking, the pacing is good and there are moments when the game can get very interesting, if not a bit cliche. The voice acting is well done, bringing some life into the characters throughout the plot.
The gameplay is, at most, decent. It’s your standard FPS but with a specific mechanic that makes playing the game easier: an aim lock-on. If you don’t like aiming at the center of the screen, you can right click to Lock-on an enemy close enough and is on screen. There are over 5 of different guns to choose from, and over 5 tools. Each have a lot of upgrades to chose from. For the guns, you have the Plasma Gun (Very first gun you get in the game), Charged Lazer, Missile Launcher, Auto Rifle, and more. For the Tools, you get the Scanner (you use this to scan plants, animals, and other things for mostly Chunks.), Beacon (you use this to call your Drop-pod to your location, if it can), Ion Grenades (you use these for a boss battle or two, but they’re mostly used to destroy cracks in walls.), Puggles (he has unlimited uses, and he can be an ally for a battle if you summon him. He attacks enemies and helps.), and much more. There are a bunch of enemies in the game, which makes exploring different planets interesting and usually fun. For the guns, you need Ammo, right? If you’re out of Ammo for a gun, it will refill very slowly to a certain number. For the Plasma Gun, if you run out of Ammo, it start to refill slowly until it’s to 5. For the Charged Lazer/Missile Launcher, they can only go up to 1 when refilling. If you want more Ammo than just 5 total every time, some enemies might drop Ammo for your weapons. There are also objects that drop Ammo and other resources, when destroyed. Not only are the guns for shooting, they’re also for unlocking doors or activating objects as well. It’s kind of like Stories: The Path of Destinies where in order to unlock doors blocking paths you can take, you need to have a type of sword for a type of door. That’s what the door are like in Morphite, but instead of using swords, you use guns. Some doors needs the Plasma Gun to shoot at it in order to open. Some doors need the Charger Lazer in order to unlock. Some doors need Missile Lancher. etc.
If you’re not in a planet, you are in the ship. In the ship, you can travel to Star Systems. Each Star System has a planet, and a Station where you can refuel your ship, get upgrades for Myrah at a Conversion Chamber in the Station, get upgrades for the ship, accept side-quests, and break some objects for Ammo. If you are at a Star System and want to go to another one, it will use up fuel. You can get fuel at the stations, or just wait for a bit for the your ship’s fuel to fill up. If you’re in a planet, the ship’s fuel fills up while you’re there, which makes going from one play to another not all that tedious to do. It’s a bit annoying that you have to A) Wait for your fuel to fill up, or B) Buying fuel every single time you go into a Star System. What makes the ship moments interesting is that there can be a random event that can happen. Like there’s an event when you have a choice to trade and buy materials from a ship, or there’s a meteor dodging minigame where you have to dodge meteors in order to not take damage, and much more. While it doesn’t really make up the annoyance on traveling from point A to B, it’s cool they’re there.
But there are two problems I have with this game: the game needs some more polishing, and scrolling through your weapons/tools can get tedious.
Let’s start with the polishing. There were moments where I encountered frustrating bugs. For example, when I got out of a Conversion Chamber in the middle of a planet, I kept on walking to the left for no reason. When I pressed D, I walked right, and when I stopped pressing D, Myrah starts to continue walking left. This bug was fixed when I finished the planet and went back into the ship. Another example is one time when I was exploring a planet I’ve haven’t been to, I just started randomly shooting even though I wasn’t left clicking, and when I ran out of ammo, I couldn’t shoot anymore even though I had 2 ammo when it was refilling. This bugs was fixed when I went back into the ship. I found places where I can clip into objects, like big rocks. And there are moments where Checkpoints resets cutscene spaces. Like I started this cutscene, did this, did that, got the thing I needed, went here, and made it to a Checkpoint. I started the boss, died, and I did the boss again. When battling, I accidently went back to the place where the cutscene is, and it started the unskippable cutscene again while the boss was attacking in the background. For the scrolling being tedious: the order the weapons/tools are in don’t make sense. It would be easy to scroll through the weapons to find the weapon/tool you want, but it’s just a mess. You can press F to select what tool you want, which makes selecting weapons easier, but I just wish scrolling weapons would be easier.
As for the graphics, it’s quite hard to not be reminded of No Man’s Sky. They share strong similarities when it comes to the look of both games. Humans looks like humans, soldiers look like soldiers, robots look like robots, and the monsters look like monsters. The level designs in planets are very detailed and look nice for the most part. While I’ve played indie games that look better, the look of the game is nicely done.
For the soundtrack, it’s not all that good. While the soundtrack does fit the game for the most part, it’s quite forgettable. There are some songs that are quite decent, but for the most part, the soundtrack is just forgettable. The voice acting for characters is very well done, but the music at times is way too loud, which makes it hard to hear what the characters are saying (but there are Subtitles, which is good.) The sound effects do their job well is all I can say about that.
Over and all, Morphite is a very decent indie FPS that has a decent story with good pacing, nice graphics, and while a bit unpolished, the game is fun for the most part. If you like Indie games and FPS games, this is for you. If you want to play a game that has a catchy soundtrack, this isn’t for you. While this isn’t everybody’s cup of tea, I think people who enjoy FPS in general would find this entertaining. It’s not a great Indie game, but it’s not bad.

I bought the game in light of the Jim Sterling video and the glowing reviews. However, I was soon disappointed by what, to me, was the dead feeling of the universe in general. The constant need to scan things with no visual difference between the quality grades of each plant (weak, rare, strong, or diseased). Nor is there a difference between the limited selection of plants you can scan, and those you cannot. The repetitive nature of play and the sheer lack of packed content is both boring and bland. The constant need to scan takes up most of the gameplay and the space combat leaves much to be desired.

Man, that graphics are excelent and sceneries are enjoyable, satisfying, relaxing and so on. Never did many screenshots in one game tho. Ofc there are some cons - slow running, sudden fps drop and blinking. But all those will be fixed in future updates, I hope.
I’ve played fifteen hours of Morphite and have really enjoyed it so far. Some people compare it to No Man’s Sky (to the point that Youtube sticks a NMS icon on all Morphite Let’s Play), and to Metroid.
I can’t say anything about Metroid because I have no clue what it is. Maybe because there’s platforming?
Morphite has a fun, cute and effective main story that’s voice acted. I’m about 35% through the main quest (the game tells you that). It spans 15 hand-crafted planets, allowing for interesting puzzles. You can’t really rush through the main quest because your gear will be totally underpowered.
You need money to upgrade your ship, minerals to upgrade your tools and weapons, and scans (plants, minerals, fossils, tech, animals) to upgrade your suit. A bit like in Zelda games, upgrading your suit and acquiring new tools opens new areas, so take notes of where you’ve found locked or unreachable things.
There’s no free flight in Morphite. Click on a solar system, click Go, watch the two seconds warp animation and you’re there. Click on a specific planet or station, click Go, and watch the two seconds landing animation. We live in the future, autopilot exists.
There are however minigames in the form of space encounters. Sometimes you’ll man a turret to shoot at hostiles, sometimes you’ll navigate through a ridiculously dense asteroid field, but that’s the closest to flying you’ll get. There’s only one ship but you can (need to) upgrade it.
There are thousands of procedural planets, which you’ll want to visit for their resources, weird life forms, landscapes, villages, shops, and (usually silly) side quests. You won’t get a bajillion square miles of perlin height maps. Instead you’ll visit a couple of caves, fight in a tiny but dense forest, jump over one toxic river, find your way to the top of one platformingly nasty rock, etc.. Quality and variety before quantity. I’ve landed on 50 planets and I’m still discovering new things (first lava river last night!).
Oh, and there’s no inventory! Well, you do carry tools, weapons, scans, minerals, quest items, but they all show in their own list and stack infinitely. No weight, no slots, no encumbrance.
I haven’t finished the game so maybe I’ll get bored, maybe the end will suck, maybe I’ll encounter a game-breaking bug. I’ll write an update if that happens.
===== UPDATE =====
I've finished the game. My recommendation is a bit more tepid, now. The second half of the game is visibly less polished than the first and makes little annoyances more annoying.
* The checkpoint system is supposed to autosave your progress through the main quest, but it's really weirdly done: say you die or quit the game between talking to a quest giver and finishing a quest. Next time you load, the quest giver will still deliver their dialog as if you never started the quest, but they won't give you the item you need. The item isn't in your inventory or on the floor where you died either; in fact it's been magically teleported to where you were supposed to bring it. This is utterly confusing and caused me to believe I had been struck by a game-breaking bugs.
* You're going to see through walls, walk through missing colliders and fall through the level. It reminded me of Daggerfall.
So I consider this game as a very good Beta. It's fun, it's feature-complete, but it needs a few bug fixes and a layer of polish to avoid useless confusion.
Morphite feels like a well-rounded early access game. Solid gameplay, everything works, even some voice acting, but with fixes required. However, that said, the price is right for the game, and while I would love to see improvements made I am enjoying my time. The game is pretty much a zen-like experience, and even the combat could be removed simply in favour of puzzles and environmental platforming challenges.
The one thing that does bug me is that it appears like there are only a few models for plants and animals, and these are recycled endlessly, to the point where it is essential to scan everything just to see if you already have it. Even within "species" the variants (strong, weak, diseased, rare) all appear to be identical. I have not determined if there is an upgrade that allows you to see without scanning whether something is new, but better visual feedback here would be appreciated.
And no, I will not comment on whether or not this is a No Man's Sky killer, as I have not played NMS.

Morphite is an enjoyable casual game that offers a bit of adventure & exploration.
I created this review near the game’s initial release so please keep in mind that things can be fixed or changed since the point of this review. Also, since the game is still quite new I'll try to omit any bugs from this review and rather focus on the points that I enjoy or dislike about this game.
First, The Cons:
- Resources seem a bit low to obtain for the potential upgrades needed, the game is already quite casual and the pace of gathering resources is already low so expect it to take a while to upgrade your ship, suit, and weapons.
- There’s no run button… You don’t move that slow and you can later upgrade your movement speed with resources, but there’s no run button.
- Not enough interaction within space stations. It would be nice if I could destroy computers or plants for resources. Or have some kind of consequence like hostile station visors if you shoot them or take the resources from that room. I don’t have any sense of ‘new’ or unexpected when visiting them unlike planets.
- I noticed the same 'pattern' for a few planets, the same slopes, the same layout segments. It's not overwhelming but noticeable enough for some maps to feel 'visited'
- Scanning things can get annoying for being a major aspect of the game. Tiny bugs are sometimes almost impossible regardless of scanner upgrades.
Pro's
- Simple graphics that doesn't look ugly
- Plenty of content, mineral harvesting, exploration, missions, storyline, side quests, space interactions, player, ship, weapons, etc upgrades.
- There are plenty of planets to explore and each new visit leaves me enjoying the visit with a 'new' enough experience.
- Additional weapons are unlocked with a 'Metroid' feel behind it which kicked up some nice nostalgia for me.
- Creatures and AI interactions are nice in that anything could be hostile, fearful, or careless with the players presence.
- There's nothing to ruin my playing experience. No hunger bars, no nagging messages, no stamina meters, no small inventory space, no survival gauges, just a nice Casual / Exploration game that was designed with the intent of being ENJOYED.
- Why couldn't NNS be more like this game.
Overall, it's not a bad game for the price, but there is plenty of rrom for improvement & bug fixes.
So far it's an ok game. It needs to be improved on many regards, but I like it overall.

Going into a $15 game that seems as ambitious as the claims in the description are, I braced myself for the pain of NMS with degraded visuals.
I'm happy to report that the game manages to hit its marks and goes on to offer more if you really want it. Fifteen handcrafted worlds and innumerable others await the intrepid explorer, with lots of varied flora and fauna to scan before you kill it dead. Your little android buddy, Kitcat, is possessed of the sort of sense of humor one finds in a friendly ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ forum, Myrah has a dream that she stretches to realize, and her mentor is a dark bastard.
Go figure.
Would I recommend this game? Absolutely. It does have the odd bug, but I have yet to discover anything gamebreaking. There's no crafting, for a wonder, and the soundtrack is quite tasty. Unlike other (not as fun) games of late, it even seems that they took some time and effort with the voice direction.
Imagine, if you will, Mass Effect: Andromeda and No Man's Sky, with the things that made those games terrible either avoided (facial animations, implied Multiplayer), or done properly (voice acting, procedural generation), less the ridiculous crafting. What use there is for resources is handled by simplifying it to an extreme degree. Gone is the requirement for our hero to be not only starship pilot and explorer, but carpenter, metalworker, weaver and every-damned-thing-else under the sun.
The result was made by a small team, better than the two games I mentioned above, for an eighth of the price at release (less if you get it during the intro sale). For the type of game it is, I find myself genuinely thankful that I don't have to tell her to eat every ten minutes, drink every other minute, or anything else. Not having to babysit a woman grown is a breath of fresh air. Gone is the infant of your average survival game, and in its place we have a polished experience that can show AAA how its done on a budget of less than half a billion dollars.
Well played, Crescent Moon Games, et al. Well played. Now if you'll excuse me, I think I'm going to go play it some more, and fsk the backlog. ;)

The game goes a bit slow gameplay wise, but I feel like with the atmosphere and environments its a good kind of slow. The story is paced out fairly quickly, and there's a fair bit to do without giving you too much to micro manage.
Like a number of people Ive looked at have said, it does feel like a simplified No Man's Sky that gives you something to do involving a story. Would recommend.

The core Gameplay is the same but this only costs 15$ and it has a lot more content in the game at the same time. Here is just a small list of all the things Morthite has over NMS:

I have to mention that the game has a few minior bugs right now, but nothing Game breaking. The most annoying thing being that the Cut-scene trigger areas are too small for a game where you can wall jump anywhere and so might miss the point you are supposed to enter an area.
Gameplay is smooth, easy to play and love the graphics style.
The game starts off good, but it goes downhill before too long. The voice acting is decent, for the most part, but let down by one or two scenes. The main reason I can't recommend this game is that minor issues pile up after a while.
After finding the third key to open a gate on one of the story missions, waiting for the gate to open and using a grappling hook to get through the gate, I managed to fall through the world and die. After this the gate already had three keys in it, but my checkpoint had been at a location where the gate was still closed. So there was no way for me to progress short of replaying a whole level (planet?).
Also, I don't know how late in the game the spaceflight and ground vehicles shown in the trailer appear, but I didn't reach them. Also, while you can scan plants and animals for upgrades, this is not what you need for weapon or suit upgrades. I had a boatload of currency by the time I gave up, but not enough "Quantium" or "Lumite" to upgrade anything other than my ship.
The useless nature of ship upgrades is another thing. In my 5-ish hours I had two instaces of ship combat, which lasted maybe 20 seconds each. As a result I never felt the need to upgrade my weapons for my ship and instead save my money hoping for a random trader to sell me minerals so I could get useful upgrades for my guns which never seemed to have enough ammo.

Хорошее управление сочитается с неплохой минималистичной графикой) Игра не требовательна к вашему железу. Сам же процесс игры похож не не без известную No man sky, но заметно упращён. За проведенное время в игре, особых багов, фризов не заметил, что очень радует) Так же, данная игра выйдет на android и IOS и собственно, на этих платформах игра будет смотреться бомбезно. На PC же, сюжет игры кажется давольно слабым, что огорчает, ибо разработчики игры могли заморочиться и придумать что-то интересное, Карты - планеты, совсем крохатные, ну негде бегать... Разработчикам игры нужно разнообразить геймплей, добавить интересный софт, ибо игра имеет потенциал, но нужно больше КОНТЕТА!!! Стоит ли покупать данную игру? Стиот, хотя бы ради знакомства, но желательно купить её на android или ios.
No Man`s Sky dome right.
I returned to this game a few days ago, from years of hiatus cus i now have a better rig. The game has a lot of problems at least on windows 10, configuration options do not work and you can get stuck on the menu closing it forever in a nightmarish loop. It has some quirks and bugs that i'm not sure have always existed but i've been soft-locked a few times thanks to them, shame, i really was looking forward to play it to the end.
If you liked No Man's Sky, then maybe you'll like this.
If you did not like NMS, then you likely won't like this.
Or maybe you will. I wasn't able to really get into it. Everything is a bit too convoluted, controls are confusing.
all-in-all, left me feeling rather empty. Would be better off playing No Man's Sky.
This game is an "indie" version of an alredy indie game, i love the low poly art style i love the colorful diverse worlds i think that this game has potential to be indie game of the year, the only problem i have with the game is that it does not let you have a free roam mode like ( dare i say it) no mans sky, i have not played no mans sky... yet i have it for both ps4 and xbox one but the only diffrence is that this game is also going to be on android and ios once it comes out for android then ill pick it up on my phone and ill pick it up on ios once i get another ios device, i have heard other people call this game no mans sky done right but i have yet to see if that is true because like i said i have not played NMS and i want to be able to play it first before i can give it an honest comparison. and if your looking to play it on a cheap device weather its an android or a ios device biut also on budget/ entry level macs and pcs for example this game runs pretty good on a late 2009 macbook im honestly supprised, and immpressed that this game runs at all on my 2009 macbook

Lots of fun! Love the low poly graphics and the music is top notch and atmospheric! Really enjoy exploring all the planets! very chill game!
This game looks interesting, but it is unplayable (on a mac). The mouse does not lock on the screen in first person mode (Even on Fullscreen mode with a single monitor). This means that every time you look up or down, the mouse will go out of the window and appear over the game interface, so then you can see the mouse moving across the screen when you move the mouse. This game seems promising, however this glitch simply ruins this game. If this bug is fixed, then I would be more than happy to revise this review.
It has some pretty bad mouse acceleration and some poor voice acting but the rest of the game's a TON of fun, if you were hyped for NMS but actually have good taste in games pick Morphite up.
The No Man's Sky killer? Not quite.
In this review a want to adress 2 different subjects, one is the game as itself, and the other is the title "NMS done right" as put by many other reviewers... i have been too long chasing this fabled "NMS done right" and i have always come out empty handed... this is no exception, this is NOT like No Man's Sky AT ALL. (to read about this, skip to the bottom of my review)
Morphite is an exploration/platformer/puzzle game. It has many common elements with the Metroid Prime series, down the female character, we have then some dungeon crawling with passive and agressive wildlife, we shoot things to get health/ammo/etc, and we scan different creatures. We can get different upgrades for our scanners/suit/weapon, upgrades that will allow us to resist new enviroments, open new paths and such, standard metroid content here.
-Graphics are all made of big polygons and bright colors, i'm not going to complain here as it's only an artistic choice, you may like it or not, but it's not the game's fault.
Music feels aproppiated, no complains here either.
-Controls are a little "off" specially when trying to guess where are you going to land as we have many small platforms sections that might get a little frustrating, but a little practice you will get better. The scanner range (at least the initial one) is so small that you have to be face to face with your target, making scanning hostile animals a little dangerous.
-The story seems alright if something generic, and i didn't care much for the "young and reckless" protagonist... the cat it's kind of funny i guess as he seems to voice my own thought many times.
All in all, Morphite it's ok. Maybe a bit "poor man's Metroid Prime" i guess.
An 8/10 seems an alright rating for me.
Now, as a NMS killer...
The opening of the game hints a lot about NMS... the ships, the space stations, the space traveling setting, even the drop pods look the same, and this about as similar as they get.
-You can't fly your ship, just pick a solar system, and then planets/space stations from a menu, the ship will get you there and drop you off in a escape pod.
-The planets are not planets, they are just walled and closed areas, with platforms, switches to press, creatures to kill, and loot to get, it's all pretty linear and completely different from the planets from NMS
Those might be only two points, but by themselves they destroy any hope to compare both games, except to people blinded for their hate for NMS, who will end up claiming that Super Mario Galaxy was NMS done right. Morphite is not a bad game but it's nothing like No Man's Sky and i wasted more money on my quest to find my holy grail...

TLDR: Mechanically similar to Metroid Prime while still containing some roguelite elements and vast exploration along the lines promised in No Man's Sky, Morphite manages to inject a considerable amount of personality with its low-poly graphic style and voice acted cutscenes. Morphite is casual, relaxing, fairly well crafted, lightly story oriented, but a bit buggy and rough with some questionable UI choices. In conclusion: a soothing time waster in small chunks for those that have the space exploration bug.
Wow! Never heard of this game until the developers gave me a free copy for exposure on my YouTube channel.. and "Wow!" is all I can say so far! Within the the first 15 minutes or so, I was thinking this looks like an artistic polygonal graphics version of No Man's Sky but with an actual story and adventure to it! ..I need to play more.. but I'm already feeling like this little gem might be this years "Stardew Valley"!
