Вдохновлюсь чужим отзывом и сразу отмечу, что отзыв скорее нейтральный, чем положительный.

Видно, что разработчики уделили большое внимание деталям и попытались задать атмосферу мистического детектива в декорациях заснеженной канадской глубинки. У игры есть даже технические достоинства - например, езда на машине тут реализована в триллион раз лучше чем в киберпуке (это не шутка). Чувствуется, что ты водишь массивную махину из металла, а не картонную коробку с пенопластом.

Продолжая тему с машиной: езда будет занимать значительную часть геймплея - в игре много бектрекинга. И этот процесс будет сопровождаться прослушиванием одной и той же песни по радио, что является настоящим издевательством над игроком. В таких играх нужно большее разнообразие музыки по радио.

Второй момент: карта. Она дико неудобная, вечно норовит уехать куда-то в ноги при малейшем движении мышкой. Я понимаю, разработчики хотели добиться максимальной иммерсивности, реализма и т.д. Но это не должно идти в ущерб комфорту игрока. Карта в машине загораживает весь вид справа и ее нельзя положить на сидение, хотя мы и так имеем свободный обзор камерой в салоне. Сидя на снегоходе, карту вообще открыть нельзя, даже если остановиться.

Третий минус: ночь. Она наступает после исследования четвертого тела и застает врасплох. Если у вас оставались незаконченные дела в окрестностях, то их выполнение станет в разы сложнее, так как ориентироваться будет очень тяжело. Например, я за снегоходом пошел уже ночью, не смог разобраться в душном квесте с проводами и полез в гайд. Потому что в этом шуме пурги, в падающем снегу и темноте бегать и смотреть куда ведут провода это просто какой-то бред. Остальные оставшиеся активности на карте я вообще дропнул из-за ночи.

Четвертое: у меня сгорело от квеста с карибу. Почему это вонючее вино можно достать только в одном месте во всей игре? Это отдает душком старых квестов с пиксельхантингом. При этом, другие ресурсы находятся в избытке - спички, розжиг, дрова.

Пятое: заданная в начале интрига ни к чему не ведет. В игре очень плоский и примитивный сюжет, который завершается потешной концовкой с побегом от огромного рогатого норда. В основном история подается через записки, но читать большинство из них не интересно. Разве что, кроме четырех записок мужика, который фантазировал об убийстве своей жены.

Возможно, разрабам просто не хватило времени и финансирования, чтобы довести игру до ума. На это намекает большой недоступной кусок территории на севере карты. Но тогда непонятно, зачем было добавлять в игру столько сюжетных линий. Мистику и магию стоило оставить где-то на фоне детективной истории, которую нужно было сделать глубже и сложнее чем простой бытовой конфликт. В итоговом виде кажется что история про убийство и история вендиго скорее мешают, чем дополняют друг друга. А еще я не понял причем тут огненные арбалетные болты.

В итоге, неплохая бродилка на пару вечеров. Оценить выше не получается.

Jeux très intriguant, dont l'histoire est très prenante.
Les déplacements sont très libre, tout en nous obligeant à nous balader un peu partout pour pouvoir avancer. L'intrigue et le déroulé, est très bien amené et développé bien que quelques points des intrigues secondaires auraient peut être pu être un peu plus détaillés.
Très bon jeu tout de même assez court et complet dans une intrigue très intéressante et prenante.

Graphics and storyline were intriguing and I liked the idea of a case journal. I loved the details of the characters and the environments. There were parts that were somewhat creepy, and I like the fact there weren't a ton of hints when needing to find items. The universe is well put together, and the goals are fun to achieve. There are so few mystery games out there, and this one did a great job with a plot.

Cons are that there are no indicators of when to take photographs so your journal could end up being left with missing entries even if you've taken shots where you thought you should. There are some areas that are so vast, you'll think you've found everything, only to have the narrator tell you there's more to find. I wished there was also a compass. A little more information, like objectives or photo hints would've made the game more immersive instead of having empty pages on the characters and time spent walking to and fro.
Even with that I think I'll be buying the sequel, and I hope they make more similar games to this.

I like the idea behind this game for sure. However, the darkness made things so tough and you have to turn your gamma up just to beat the game. The map was awful to use while driving and having to get off the snow mobile to use the map was tedious. Not for me but others will have a blast.

If you like this genre and the rural Quebec setting, you can get a good few hours of enjoyment out of Kona, so, I do recommend it.

With that being said, the ending is so sudden and out of place, it's like cruising at 100 MPH then throwing the car into reverse. There are some other complaints but they all pale in comparison to the ending.

The atmosphere is great. Kona starts with a strong beginning but felt not like a detective game more like the Long Dark in another setting. I didn't understand all the items like steaks or flares and I don't want to spoiler much but I am little unhappy with the ending.

I bought it on a sale and for that it was worth my time. Played trough it in 6 hours.

I spent 25+ hours on this game. Why? Because I'm bad at games. It's not the game's fault.

Anyway, I didn't stop playing because I was *invested* in this story.
It's dark, melancholy, lonely. Carl lightens things up a bit, but takes it seriously.
The achievements were cool, most of them are possible without going too far out of the way.

I disabled the wolf attacks - as I said, I'm bad at games and dying over and over is teeedious.
Even the final thing was like, !! what I have to run now??? no one said anything about running!

A couple notes -
- If you are good at Mario Kart, you'll probably be better at the truck and snowmobile driving than I was. I was so bad at it.
- I wish there had been a compass on the map, maybe a HUD. Probably should have shaved 10 hours off my play time if I weren't lost all the freaking time. Yes, I know that's on me.
- Cold. I probably shouldn't have played it mid-winter. Again, that's on me.
- Steak. Why couldn't Carl have a steak? All these steaks in my inventory, all of these unattended kitchens...

Anyway, it was a nice interactive walking simulator. "Survival" is not freezing to death, not smoking your lungs out, having a beer every so often.

Overall, I loved this game, though there were a few spots in it that I couldn't figure out what to do, and there were a few problems with pacing. Still, the narration (English) was excellent, and I loved watching the story unfolded as I collected clues. Highly recommended if you liked games like Firewatch and Arctic Awakening.

Игра сама по себе интересная, так как сюжет завязан на игре Шерлока Холмса только связанное с условно говоря не поддающимся обычному понятию примерно как инскрипшн только тут всё по другому. Из минусов, это ♥♥♥♥ ёбаный спринт который работает как регистрация урона в кс (вроде нормально бежишь и жизнь прекрасна, а когда и вовсе как будто у тебя траблы с лёгкими). В общем советую, особенно когда ни скидке :)

An intriguing yet somewhat misleading murder mystery, often burdened by its "lost in translation" story. I enjoyed the setting and some strong attention to detail, but found some of the controls and features clunky. Some of the mechanics could also use some work, but I enjoyed enough of my time with Kona to give it a decent recommendation.

Definitely recommended to those who liked similar walking sims like Dear Esther and The Vanishing of Ethan Carter.

I was about to change the sensitivity for my mouse after the car crashed, as it was too high, but then i realised that i cant navigate in the menu, since the game randomly decided to recognise my mouse as a controller. And for some reason, that menu only reacts to joysticks, so it doesnt matter if i move my mouse, click or press buttons. Well actually you kinda can, but its very difficult and annoying and very limited, plus couldnt even interact with the slider, because arrows dont work and i dont have a cursor on the screen.
Otherwise i also cant progress the story since im unable to open my inventory to heal myself. Shortcuts are also shown in D-pad.
Menu worked perfectly fine before starting the game.
Guess its a refund then..

Good: The atmosphere of the game and most of its elements were enjoyable. Exploration occasionally rewards you with humorous narration. Eerie setting with quirky Canadian flavor.

Bad: Some gameplay feels needlessly clunky. You can't use the inventory while in a vehicle, can't use the map in certain vehicles, and there are invisible walls that stop you in your tracks and kill your immersion in what otherwise feels like an open world. Achievements didn't work at all with Proton. The ending felt like a copout in terms of both narrative and gameplay. The narrative is pieced together and spoonfed to you as you progress, so it felt less like a detective game and more like a scavenger hunt.

Overall I thought this was decent at a deep discount sale price, but would not recommend paying full price.

[h1]Це перший украхнський відгук.[h1] Гра непогана. Спочатку гри у мене були більші надії на неї, машиною управляти дуже зручно, фізика як у реальному житті, зі снігоходом так само.
Що не сподобалось так це замало екшену, всю гру ми бігаємо з револьвером, попутнбо знаходячи сигнальний пістолет та топор. Тільки в кінці нам дають Рушницю та динаміт. Хотілося б щоб на протязі гри ми мали вибір стріляти чи не стріляти в людей наприклад які збираються на тебе напасти. Одна жива людина на все село, дуже замало, можна було б додати ще людей щоб оживити трохи гру. Графіка та оптимізація на висоті, може бути суперником і в 2026 році іншим іграм. На "секретному об'єкті" хотілось закинути гру. Так як дуже не просто розгадати цей пазл. [h1]+ до цього гра здавалась нудною до розв'язання пазлу. Справжній екшн починається за 1 годину до кінця гри [h1]

Kona has character, which is about the best thing going for it unfortunately. While there are some puzzle mechanics sprinkled in, they are few and far between. Most of the gameplay will consist of you walking and seeking out clues to a mystery that the story, sadly, poorly conveys to you. Far too much of the game had to be told through narration, or you wouldn't have any idea what was going on, or what you were supposed to be feeling. In the end you don't solve the mystery, you simply get to a point, and the game shows you what happened. All in all, I think that is the biggest disappointment of this novel little indie game.

Let’s do the good first. I thought the gameplay here worked — I’d call it above-average. Granted the caveat there is that I tend to like the slower games and walking sims, so someone who needs like, GAMEPLAY, in the redditest sense, may not like it, but it worked for me. I liked the atmosphere, and I thought the narration stayed juuuust restrained enough to be helpful and not hokey. I enjoyed searching all the properties and snooping into people’s lives and that the town was empty definitely made it feel less intrusive and more detective-y. I also liked the scrapbook-style journal, both aesthetically and practically, although I wish it had more tabs — you can skip from “Investigations” to “Townies” but can’t easily scroll through the investigations.

My one complaint about the gameplay was that I wish there was a hint option for missing journal entries. Because of the way the townies are moving around, you don’t fill out pages all at once when you investigate a property. So for like Jill Smith, you may do 2/4 of her entries at the Smith household, but the other two entries may be at her workplace or her friend’s house. I would have loved a thing where if I clicked on an empty entry it said like, “Hmm, maybe if I check out The General Store I can find out more about this…” As it was, it was hard to know when you had found everything at a given place, and toward the lategame I just did not have the wherewithal to go back and comb over every tiny detail hoping to find missing stuff. (I actually think a postgame cleanup mode with fast travel would have been a great thing for QOL too, as I wanted to see everything but, well, I have other things to do, so I just ended up looking up what I missed.)

But on the whole, from a purely experiential perspective, I enjoyed this more than I thought I would, and I can see why it was a hit.

HOWEVER.

So, first, the good, again. It was competently written. The writing was, again, solid-to-above-average. I also appreciated, as I did in Obra Dinn, that it was pretty immediately obvious something supernatural was going on, and the mystery is about why the town was targeted. It also makes the very good choice to ground the supernatural part in human conflicts, which I always support.

The first issue is a writing issue, which is that the game provides the solution insanely early. So early, in fact, that I don’t think talking about this is a spoiler. I had actually initially theorized that the protagonist dies in the car accident at the very beginning, and you’re investigating the town as a ghost, which would honestly have been pretty fun, but the truth is far more cliche. In the first third of the game, you just find a book about wendigos that explains what they are, why they appear, and how to stop them, and it’s like… oh. Okay. And for the remaining several hours there’s just… no mystery. You know exactly what the issue is and why it’s happening and the game just kind of acts like you don’t despite spoonfeeding you all the info in hour 2. This was so bizarre that I almost wonder if the dev was having people in playtest say they couldn’t tell what was happening and felt like they had to cater to those stupid people and add in an item that just goes, “Here let me tell you the game’s plot”? It was really weird. The entire game would have been eons better if this one interactable didn’t exist.

The second issue is that this is a really basic Magical Native story, and as they often are, one that fundamentally posits indigenous people as savage, violent, and other.

I did some brief research, but this is not my area of expertise, so please take my claims about NA folklore with some salt here and do your own digging if you want more info!

But broadly, the wendigo seems to be a particularly appropriated bit of NA folklore (Anishinaabe, in the game specifically Cree). And the game uses it in a way that’s extremely typical of the way white people have used it in their fiction historically — the Wiki page is pretty robust here, including both examples and critiques from indigenous scholars, so check it out for details.

Indeed, the wendigo as an diagnostic symbol is so pervasive that one scholar called his book about the construction of indigenous mental illness “Revenge of the Wendigo‘ — it argues that “anthropology, psychology, and psychiatry–have together constructed a profoundly distorted portrait of Aboriginal peoples.”

My point is that this game made a choice that placed it in the midst of a long historical clusterfnck, and it doesn’t do anything meaningful to react to its own context, instead just becoming another iteration. While the full reckoning with this is outside my scope here, there is one thing I want to flag. Based on what I’ve seen, traditionally the wendigo is associated with greed, gluttony, and excess — it’s typically insatiably cannibalistic and has thematic ties to winter famine and antisocial behavior. Per wiki, “Ojibwe scholar Brady DeSanti asserts that the wendigo ‘can be understood as a marker indicating… a person… imbalanced both internally and toward the larger community of human and spiritual beings around them.'” Chippewa writer Louise Erdrich, for example, has a rapist become a wendigo.

Kona completely rewrites this, deciding instead that wendigos are creatures of vengeance. The spoiler book you read talks about someone turning into a wendigo to avenge the killing of their fiance. A few things about this:

One. This means the game is predicated on the fridging of a Cree woman, which, great.

Two. I think it’s really… notable, let’s say, that the game takes a piece of folklore that’s fundamentally about how important community and mutual respect are in Algonquin cultures and turns it into this ‘they may turn into violent monsters at any moment and kill all the white people’ thing that’s both far more individualistic and far more savage than the truth of the mythos. The game makes the extremely significant decision to have the fridged Cree woman killed by accident, by a stray bullet during a hunting expedition. This characterizes the ‘revenge’ narrative as completely irrational and, on a larger scale, characterizes indigenous reactions to white violence as unreasonable and dangerous. Further, and I shouldn’t have to say this, white people did not ‘accidentally’ genocide Native Americans.

The result is that this is just a really, really typical entry into the incredibly large pantheon of “fiction about how Native Americans are magical and also violent and irrational.”

Part of the problem with the game spoiling itself wasn’t just that it destroyed the mystery. It was also that it chose the most boring, rote, utterly exhausted story to tell, and does nothing with it. This is what I was getting at above when I said I was hoping it would turn out we’d died — I don’t think I’m a genius at twists or anything, just that would have been a far less cliche and retrodden twist than ‘it was magical natives,’ and as such to me would have been more interesting. Plus I like ghosts better than racism. But part of the reason these types of stories are so exhausting is because they get done the same way over and over, partially because people copy what they see but also because the structures that they support are synthetic and as such have to be constantly reified (see also my line about how Golden Idol was the same as a dozen movies from the 1950s).

So yeah it’s easy to say “I liked the gameplay here and on a technical level the rest was solid,” but for me at least, gameplay can only carry a game so far. It’s also a game that does nothing original, makes no critiques, and offers no insight into itself or its own genre.

Tolle Atmosphäre, die hat mich gleich in ihren Bann gezogen, es erinnnert an The Long Dark ist aber deutlich kürzer. Daher eher was für zwischendurch, da es auch nur einen Spielmodi gibt.

Konnte es auf dem Steam Deck gut spielen, hat sich aber gelegentlich aufgehängt und die Errungenschaften waren gänzlich geblockt leider.

Kona is a first-person view detective adventure game that mixes survival, horror and investigation elements. Our protagonist Carl, who is a private detective, has been hired by a businessman in a remote town in Northern Canada. When Carl arrived the town to meet his employer, he saw some unexpected events and murders had taken place; so he starts to investigate what is happening in this remote region in the middle of the winter.

Although my first impression on this game was positive, I must say that the game ultimately fails to give the player the experience that you expect from this concept. The game offers a semi-open world where you basicly travel between certain locations to find clues in order to progress. You must warm yourself by starting fire in certain points in order not to die due to cold. Weapons exist in the game but actual combat is very limited. There are no real puzzles in the game and you basically need to find the necessary tool for every action. You progress in a linear story and discover it step by step by finding and reading some documents. As a small spoiler, the game blends the story with some supernatural elements and the end is related to it.

I can say that the idea behind the game is good and it really manages to create a harsh and sorrowful winter atmosphere, but the main problem is it's pretty indecisive. Although combining the elements of survival, horror, investigation and some combat sounds good, the game ultimately fails to offer a satisfying experience in none of these elements and it becomes pretty repetitive. Story seems to be decent at first, but many details you have found during the game are actually irrelevant to the story and the end isn't a tricky or a shocking one you expect from a mystery story.

I can say that the concept of this game is pretty good, but unfortunately the implemantation of it has turned out to be pretty immature and incomplete.

This game looks interesting at first but then it turns into a repetitive back-and-forth travel between houses, searching through drawers for items that might become useful later. Most of the items I found were actually never needed.

For some reason, the map cannot be used while on the snowmobile, so you have to get off every time just to check it. Having to read one of the many documents just to progress is also annoying, and I wasn't the only one who got stuck because of this.

There are weapons in the game, but you only end up using them about three times. Spoiler: You don't even need to use them against the final boss, the Wendigo, so don't waste your time shooting it with every weapon you found.

Kona je titul ktorý určite dokáže zabaviť a vťiahnuť hráča do svojho sveta. Len škoda ,že akonáhle sa ponoríš tak ani si neuvedomíš a už je koniec. Ale aj popritom našiel som kopu kladov pošas hrania ale ako každý titul tak určite sa najdú aj nejaké zápory.

Plusy
- Na to ,že je to Unity engine tak tvorcovia vyžmíkali docela slušnú grafiku. Hra na svoje Indie pomery vypadá fakt dobré a mistami to pôsobila skoro AAA.
- Optimalizácia je vynikajúca nemal som žiadný pad a ani žiadné problémy a to hrám na Linuxe!
- Svet je otvorení sektorovo tak si užijete voľnosť menšiu vo svete len narúšajú to Loadingy ale tie sú fakt krátučke preto nevnímam to ako nedostatok ale ako spôsob optimalizácie hry.
- Lokácie sú zaujímavo spracované je ích akože málo ale dostatočne nadvezujú na dej samotnéj hry
- Je to udivuhodné ale hra obsahuje menšie survival prvky ako je teplota, mozog a zdravie a nechýba aj zbieranie veci. skladovanie veci do Auta alebo Skútra ktorý viete si opraviť a vo svete sa nachádza aj hromadu veci ktoré ide opraviť za mna je to dobré a hráča motivuje sa kochať všade aj ked toho moc neni.
- Animácie sú dobré a aj tie vizie hlavného hrdinu sú plné naanimované což taká hra Redfall sa môže schovať.

Mínusi
- Ovládanie mi príde rozbité Shift pri bežaní strašne mizerne reaguje dakedy musím mačkať aj x krát za sebou len aby sa postava rozbehla a to platí aj pri skákani.
- Inventár je strašne zlé urobení a človeka skôr štve v tom niečo hľadať.
- 30% mapy je len dostupný na hranie takže v hre si ani to kochanie a tie prvky zbierania surovin neužijete tak na čo napchali toľko tých veci ked ajtak je ta mapa strašne malička. Tuna mohli sa viac pohrať a mohli poskytnuť viac lokácií alebo ten svet mohli nejak expandnuť. - Rozprávač je asik najhoršie Developerske rozhodnutie mám rád hry kde je nejaký rozprávač ale tuna mi ten hlas toho rosprávača liezol pekne na nervy a vždy som sa ho pokúšal preskočiť ale nejde to a hlavní hrdina Carl ten nevysloví ani slovo a až potom v dome je nejaký dedo ktorý je nadabovaní a ku koncu. Tuna tvorcovia pohoreli na plnej čiare a tým zničili potenciál hry Kona. Hlavní hrdina mohol vedieť hovoriť. alebo keby ten rozprávač daboval hlavného hrdinu ale ksakru prečo to tak urobili ???!! Aj hra BIOMUTANT ma rovnaký spôsob rozprávača a skôr ma to tam vytáčalo lebo to bolo neskutočne otrávne a narušalo to to tajomno a objavovanie ked do všetkého mlel.

Za mna hra si zaslúži 60% Rozprávač, Mierne rozbité ovládanie a nedostatok obsahu túto hru mierne pochovala. Ale ak to kúpite za 1 euro dačo tak určite to stojí za tie peniaze.

It had been on my wishlist for a long time, probably for more than 10 years. With snow falling outside, I finally decided to give this game a try.

The story and voice acting are quite good, and the narrative remains engaging until the final chapter, but the ending was a bit of a disappointment for me. I was expecting something more realistic.

The sanity, body temperature, and health mechanics don’t really feel meaningful in practice. The controls are clunky and awkward, and there are some issues with the map design. You can collect a lot of items throughout the game, but most of them don’t actually serve a purpose.

Still, it’s a nice game to play for a few hours on a winter day.

Я честно не стану её проходить до конца ибо я уже знаю концовку и мне лень собирать видения для того что бы её пройти (Я бы её прошёл но после переустановки виндовс сейв не сохранлися что так же огромный минус)

Плюсы: Игра очень атмосферная в духе зимы честно когда проходил только она и задерживала меня в игре а так же очень классная канадская музыка с графикой если нравится симуляторы ходьбы то максимально прекрасный вариант за свою цену |0.84 доллара при скидках| Так же голос за кадром просто шикарен и волки которые забавную опасность создают и не более
Минусы: сразу бы хотелось сказать что все минусы сразу анулируются за цену игры ибо всё же цена/качество преобладает
Много не обязательных механик которые есть чисто для галочки,странная концовка,странный ход с мистикой (как по мне без неё было бы даже круче) ну и многим не зайдёт симулятор ходьбы без быстрых перемещений а ещё игра подгружается почти всегда но у меня это не сильно долго ( меньше трёх секунд ) так что ладно
вообщем-то покупайте ради атмосферы но людям с сдвг не советую ибо игра медленная и медативная

Tão bom que me lembrou que posso fazer análises por aqui.
Precisava falar desse jogo, ótima narrativa, muito estiloso, gameplay tranquilo, para quem realmente procura um bom jogo de investigação.
Explorar o mapa é muito divertido, ler cada documento, visitar todas as casas e cabanas, fotografar cada evidência e aos poucos desvendar o mistério, no seu ritmo, na sua liberdade.
A trilha sonora é um show a parte, muito boa mesmo.
A muito tempo que não jogava um jogo que me fazia sentir tão intrigado e entretido.
Possui alguns elementos de sobrevivência, mas isso não faz dele um jogo do gênero, diria que serve apenas para apoiar a narrativa do jogo, inclusive não apresenta desafio nenhum, tem que querer muito pra morrer nesse jogo.
O único ponto fraco do jogo, infelizmente, é o final, que para mim foi um pouco decepcionante, aguardava outro tipo de desfecho, mas quem sabe você goste.
De qualquer forma eu gastei 2 reais nessa budega e foi com certeza o melhor jogo que já joguei com essa faixa de preço, excelente trabalho para os criadores e esta muito mais do que recomendado

возьмите The Long Dark, уберите выживание, но оставьте детектив, и сделайте из этого детектива главную механику - получится Kona.
Приятно, размеренно, немного скучновато, да и на детектив это не сильно тянет, скорее на приключение с элементами детектива.
Но благодаря диктору, который комментирует повествование, это всё напоминает Stanley Parable, а в целом сеттинг мистического детектива в Канадо-Американской глуши как будто вообще отсылает нас к сериалу Twin Peaks.
Подойдёт для тех, кому нравится расслабиться и под завывание вьюги вести размеренное расследование исчезновения людей в никому неизвестном городке, где, кажется, пробудился какой-то древний индейский дух

This game grew on me, eventually winning me over. Initially, I was turned off by nonintuitive and clunky controller and menu design issues, things such as multiple layered functions and complex menus. But the storyline and environment held my attention long enough for me to get used to all that clunkiness and the gameplay smoothed out.

I have enjoyed the storyline, the striking environment and the idiosyncratic writing. Unfortunately, I accomplished a task a bit too early, it seems, and found myself hurled into permanent darkness for the rest of the game (like 65% of it). It's been a bit of a slog, playing in perpetual nighttime. I wish there was a way to opt out of that, or be warned it could happen.

Now that I'm nearly finished with this first installment of Detective Carl's adventures, I've been looking forward to finding the second Kona game - Brume. But I'm super disappointed to learn that it's not Mac compatible, so many of us won't be able to enjoy it, including me.

Kona me parecio un juego bastante inusual.

En un principio pense que era un juego netamente enfocado en la supervivencia, pero mas apunta a una historia enigmatica y misteriosa que debes desenredar de a poco, a medida que vas encontrando pistas con el detective. Es verdad que recuerda mucho a The Long Dark, pero solo por su ambientacion y algunos toques como sobrevivir a base de suministros y los lobos, pero Kona no es un juego de supervivencia, es mas bien un relato retorcido que debes descifrar a base de mini puzzles y recabar pistas, habran como una especie de tesoros que podras encontrar con un mapa.

Todo lo que vas consiguiendo en el inventario ni lo ocupas, porque no existe un progreso ni un desarrollo, solo es un loot muerto, resuelves un par de puzzles y evades facilmente los lobo. El final del juego es una literal mierd@.

Haberlo adquirido por menos de un dolar, fue una ganga.

It's a fairly short detective game.
It reminds me a lot of “The Long Dark” in terms of exploration. The puzzles aren't that difficult.
It's not scary at all, but you can feel the tension building in the second half of the game.
If you feel like trespassing on abandoned properties, immersing yourself in the more eccentric side of the Canadian countryside, and distilling moonshine for a war veteran in order to steal his coat, this is the game for you.

I really did not enjoy a single aspect of this game. The movement feels so clunky. The UI is inconvenient in several ways. Documents all share the same minimalist icon instead of having their own thumbnail, or being laid out in a book with tabs/bookmarks for easy navigation. You have to mouse over each document and read the title to know what it is. I should be able to tell my documents apart at a glance so I can quickly reference them.

I don't like the narrator that never shuts up, often describing what I'm already looking at or stating the obvious. You don't really have to deduce anything, you just do whatever the narrator tells you to do. The "mystery" was obvious from the first 20 minutes of playing. Gameplay consists of rummaging through empty houses for bits of garbage. You'd better check EVERY drawer and pick up EVERY piece of garbage otherwise you're going to backtrack across the entire map because now you need a roll of duct tape to proceed.

Apesar do jogo ser bem simples, nada muito complexo ou difícil, conseguiu prender minha atenção do começo ao fim. A historia é bem intrigante e despertou muito a minha curiosidade, me levando a explorar cada ponto de interesse no mapa.

Ele é bem curto e o final não é muito satisfatório (pelo menos pra mim), queria que houvesse uma solução ou algo perto disso, mas de qualquer forma não foi de todo o ruim, valeu a pena a jornada.
O gráfico do jogo é bem bonitinho, a mecânica de sobrevivência é meio, "meeh"... Quase que inexistente de tão fácil. Recomendo que espere uma promoção.

Da es gerade super billig im Angebot ist... sage ich schon nach nur 90Minuten Spielzeit..
Schlagt zu ! Die Atmosphäre ist richtig spannend und bedrohlich. Man ist mitten im nirgendwo... ein Schneesturm nimmt einem fast die komplette Sicht..es ist kalt, hier und da findet man einen Unterschlupf um sich kurz aufzuwärmen und ein wenig zu looten und andauernd dieses Gefühl..IRGENDWAS stimmt hier einfach nicht ! Was ist hier nur los ? Beobachtet mich jemand ?? Nur sehr wenige Spiele haben es in so kurzer Zeit geschafft dieses angenehm unangenehme Gefühl in mir zu erzeugen! Ich werde diese Review noch weiterführen... wie gesagt, das Spiel ist gerade quasi umsonst für den Preis. Freue mich schon hart auf die nächste Session! ...to be continued....
