Kakele is nearly a great old school MMO which allows for near infinite progression, but it's fatal flaws have never been addressed or improved upon.
Fatal design flaw: Enchanting equipment
The game starts with simple leveling, quests, and a minor emphasis on equipment. However, this turns into an atrocious shift into power creep through equipment which requires infinite resources and time shifted to enchanting.
Every item can be upgraded for +5 stat points, but the cost infinite increases. Meaning instead of grinding in the game world everything eventually shifts to tedious resource gathering.
This is probably malicious and intentional since P2W as usual could "buy" resources. Regardless it's a horrible system, but it's much worse.
The mining takes about 10 minutes per session, but only ONE instance can occur at a time. Which can cause a completely unnecessary pile up and if you enter the mine and someone is already there you just ruined your entry and have to go back to the NPC to restart it. This is just garbage design and has never been improved or addressed.
Fatal Design: Old school sloppy death penalty
You lose 1% of your exp upon death. Not 1% of your level. An infinitely increasing 1% of everything you ever acquired in the game. How you died doesn't matter. Disconnect, lag, outage, doesn't matter. You lose "Good day sir".
How this obnoxious and unrestrained penalty has gone on for so many years is just sad. A penalty is fine. An infinitely increasing penalty without restraint is absurd.
Fatal Flaw: Discord
I went to address these issues on their discord, but I'll never interact there. It requires a phone identification to post anything. I'll pass on sending personal information people can sell and spam robo calls on.
Fatal Flaw: Impossible puzzles that are out dated and a mess. Most of the guides if you can find them are not in English. You can destroy an entire main quest line by destroying random items throughout the quest. Some of the quests seem nearly impossible to understand. With vague descriptions and random design. Furthermore, some quests require server events to be running to even be possible.
The quest indicator will also only point to the final location. Which is nearly meaningless in many quests because they are on a sub level which requires knowing the path to even the dungeon. Some mysterious and hidden areas are fine. However, this is so overboard and convoluted it's a major problem.
The sad thing is otherwise this would actually be a great game. The grinding can be challenging. It's responsive action combat. The game world is large. There is a least a minimal active player base. If the progression systems where just cleaned up it would be a much better game.
The enchanting has to change. There is no mechanic to increase the amount of resources obtained. Thus you have an infinitely scaling amount of resources needed. It's also not balanced vs character level. I believe there are actually a few caps to enchant vs player level, but the resources needed is so absurd it won't matter.
The enchants value should be far less. Maybe +1 instead of 5. And there should be systems to increase the amount of resources obtained. So there is an actual market and way to acquire reasonable amounts. There should be mining veins in grinding locations so you are not stuck in the limited mines and something should be done about the one instance issue.

Edit: Yeah you can give that a rest. Being small is an excuse for a year or two NOT 6. I been playing games for over 40 years so go feed that crap to someone else. There is TONS of games with a single dev and it can get controller support so you are just using this BS reason to get me to change my review. 6 Years is enough time period! This is a perfect example of why you shouldnt havnt wait till the code is a mile long and harder. If you did as you went it would have been easier im sure. But no people with disabilities get pissed on again with the same BS reasons!

I recommend people don't waste their time with this.
It's like runescape/tibia for pay-to-win but worse, you can buy experience boosts, strong pets, bag space (wtf?), then there's premium tiers to boost your character even more.
There seems little room for real accomplishment and earning the rewards in this mmo through gameplay. Ironically it told me to stop cheating when I logged out...
Horrendous mobile game.
Grafika nawet niezła, mechanika ok, jest nawet voice acting i kapibara z głosem dziewczynki... no właśnie, kapibara z głosem dziewczynki, która mówi "ja tam nie potrafię pisać i czytać, więc polecam wszystkim zostać w szkole" i podobne kompletnie cringowe teksty. Muzyka mocne 4/10, niby dobra, ale nagle z typowej fantaziakowatej muzyki przechodzisz w rocka do ubijania bossa, co bardzo psuje immersję. Dla dzieciaków w wieku szkolnym to będzie odkrycie roku, dla mnie wychowanym na Margonem czymś, o czym chcę zapomnieć.
Bom jogo.
Jogo sólido e muito bem construído. Kakele mantém a essência do MMORPG 2D clássico, com ótima progressão, updates frequentes e uma comunidade madura. Dá pra jogar por anos sem enjoar. Recomendo demais.

Um bom jogo. Os devs tentam balancear a jogatina, dão até VIP de graça as vezes. Não tenho o que reclamar, tem muitos modos de jogo interessante in game, eventos, bestiário, pvp, etc. Vc nunca fica sem o que fazer.

Buen juego tengo 4-5 años jugando y todo bien.
In Kakele you can solve mysteries that nobody solved yet! Even if you only play a bit each day, you can feel getting stronger and having better gear as time goes on. Theres also countless quests, some easy some harder with big rewards!
The only sad part is that it can be hard to find people to play thogheter so come try it out :D
Kakele is a complex game where you can explore a vast map alone or with your friends. The game provides a story quest mode in which the player can follow it optionally. The feeling of progress and freedoom that the game gives is what makes it fun and lets you always thinking about what you should do next.

i really wanted to play something like tibia. but without the pay to win and the old system that just dont work anymore. but sadly this aint it, the biggest issue is that its a mobile game in its core which is the reason i persume it didnt take off on steam. the UI and the combat just dont work for PC so many have tried before. now i doubt they care cause its most likly really fun on mobile for people that like that. first of not having an action bar for spells and utillites on a mmorpg pc game is a killer for games like this. the movement and combat is oversimplified cause its for mobile ofc. and not being able to change hotkeys for f1 f2 f3 which is spell, utility, pet and it is hilarious cause you can change on other hotkey. its a cool game and animation of the game is good. if it was made for PC it might been really good. but mobile is the purpose of this game and might be the bigger audiance for this kind of game really. we 2d mmorpg fans a kinda small on PC and hopefully apogea will scratch that itch in the future

O jogo tem um visual muito bonito e simples, infelizmente é P2W, de uma forma muito engraçada e sorrateira os DEVS viram que começou a dar certo e investiram nisso, tanto que os próprios STAFF jogam, os drops beiram a loucura no valor, justamente por isso muitos ainda se mantém de pé jogando este jogo,
Mesmo que passe horas e horas, você não sente progressão alguma, eu uma jogadora SOLO, não senti nenhum tipo de progressão, e não, está não é a primeira vez que jogo este jogo, já joguei em 2021 e 2022, fui tentar da uma chance novamente e realmente o jogo continua da mesma forma.
Os dev dão prioridade e escutam somente aqueles que gastam massivamente dinheiro com o game, principalmente as guilds, e mesmo eles fazendo coisas erradas, você é banido por reclamar, isso mesmo.. BANIDO!
Fiquei afk por uns meses, ok até entendo do game ter atualizações, mas a STAFF roubou meu personagem para vender os itens, isso foi o auge da fuleragem, evitem este jogo a qualquer custo, péssima administração.
E nem adianta vir com esses comentários robóticos de ctrl+c e ctrl+v não devs, vocês sabem oque fazem de errado, não melhoraram porque enquanto estiver dando grana, que se fodam os jogadores.

Боевая система проста, но тактически интересна, особенно в командных сражениях. Социальный аспект развит хорошо - игроки активно торгуют, вместе охотятся на боссов и просто общаются. Есть четыре класса на выбор, каждый со своими уникальными особенностями.
Несмотря на устаревшую графику, игра затягивает своей простотой и чувством прогрессии. Если вы ищете игру без излишеств, где важен не донат, а умение и терпение, то Kakele Online - отличный выбор. Единственный минус - отсутствие подробного обучения, но это компенсируется активным и дружелюбным сообществом, готовым помочь новичкам. В целом, рекомендую всем поклонникам классических MMORPG.

Acho o jogo ótimo, de ponta a ponta.
Eu jogava Tibia, mas deixei de jogar por conta da comunidade BIZARRA do jogo.
Quando achei Kakele, encontrei tudo que eu busco em um MMORPG: comunidade boa, boa jogabilidade solo também, mecânicas simples, um pay to progress absolutamente justo (que torna o negócio Kakele sustentável mas não torna o jogo pay to win).
jogo há uns 6 meses. Já deu tempo de pegar atualização que, na minha visão, melhorou o jogo e, enfim, não tenho pontos contra a apontar.
Se eu fosse pontuar uma coisinha só é com relação aos acessos. Alguns acessos são injustificadamente chatos de fazer (exemplo do céu dos piratas) o que torna a gameplay em alguns momentos meio chata, mas, de resto, gosto muito.

É um excelente RPG produzido por brasileiros. Não é enjoativo, como alguns RPGs que possuem para o celular.

Gráficos em pixel art que lembra muitos títulos clássicos da era de 16 bits tais como Tales Of,Final Fantasy,Chrono Trigger etc.
Jogabilidade legal em tempo real não existindo a possibilidade de auto play.
Em comparação com outros games é relativamente fácil fazer dinheiro, não vai jogar achando que de cara vai fazer mas depois de um tempo da para tirar ou troco.
Comunidade pequenina mas ativa, comércio fácil.
Esses são os pontos positivos que me animam ainda a jogar essa "pinga" a mais de um ano.
Agora os negativos são:
Comunidade tóxica e chata, dinheiro manda no game e nos devs, obrigatoriedade em fazer "amizades", entrar em guildas para poder progredir principalmente missões e acessos.
Caso você opte jogar solo seu progresso vai ser árduo principalmente se tua classe for de suporte como mago e alquimista.
Caso queira jogar pegue furioso e a classe mais desbalanceada e ideal para quem joga sozinho.
Tudo no game é muito caro,com um sistema que não faz sentido algum.
Skins,montarias por exemplo além de você ter que farmar os itens para fazer tem que pagar Gold e a moeda do jogo para ter disponível e muitas só podem ser usadas pagando a Premium.
Toda atualização piora ainda mais o game,prometem que vão resolver problemas e só adicionam mais.
Não recomendo, estou aqui ainda pois gastei muito tempo e consigo mesmo com uma certa dificuldade e demora tirar um troco.
O único motivo que me trouxe e do qual continuo, DINHEIRO,se não fosse isso já tinha excluído esse "trem" da minha vida.

This game is definitely inspired by Tibia, but... in Tibia you could die easily, here however...
-> You pretty much start out as a damage sponge.
-> The game is repetitive and very easy/casual.
-> No challenge and no thinking required.
-> There is literally 0 choices to be made in this game.
I've played through tutorial and a bit afterwards.
-> The game is very boring, does not get better.
You can't even build your own character, because levelups just give you buffs - you have no control over your character development, which pretty much makes every character in given class the same.
i play tibia but consume alot of time so i find this game aint the same but similar to it and i enjoy it so far
