Fun little classic FPS (Doom, Wolfenstein 3D, etc.) with engaging combat and punchy gun feel.

А где тут развлечение? Я знаю сотню модов, которые не просят деньги, но развлекают игрока на три головы выше. А тут автор просто сделал "в духе", но то что это должно быть весело он забыл. Если ты не обделался, не значит, что геймплей становится интересным на автомате.
Какая-то херня беспонтовая. (Так много времени в игре, потому что свернул её, забыл и ушёл)
It's like Wolfenstein 3D but has less content in every department. It's not 1992 anymore so this won't do. No map, no settings to change your controls... are you insane? Overall it's a really short okay game, but I'm giving it a thumbs down so the devs can learn from this and do better next time 'cause I feel it's a wasted potential. 5/10.
For Steam Deck owners looking for how to rebind the keys (the default is WASD for movement, which works for most, but sucks for left-handed freaky deaky me), you have to do it via the .ini file.
This is where I found it:

You also need to use numerical values for different keys. I use my mouse with my left hand, so I like to rebind from WASD to arrow keys for movement. These are what the values for those are:

Зомбительно, но хоккей
Чёрт возьми.
Это игра на 2 часа, которая надоедает спустя пол часа. Явно закос под Вульфенштейн 3D, но в Вульфе скорость персонажа была в 3 раза выше, а также уровни больше (что на первый взгляд компенсируется друг другом, но эта унылая долгая ходьба в этой игре - это что-то с чем то, в сочетании с угрюмой цветовой палитрой создается невероятное ощущение скукоты и однообразия, Вульфенштейн 3D было позадорнее играть) + саундтрек в Вульфе был более мелодичным и таким бодрящим, а здесь полный кал, уж извините, мне редко не нравятся осты в играх, но это невыносимый саундтрек, я его понизил по громкости очень сильно.
Конечно платина забавная, но... нет... к чёрту. Мне не понравилась игра.

Short and simple levels for fast in and out gameplay something you can speed run. More of an arcade shooter nothing to really think about just shoot, grab the keys, find some secrets, and get to the exit.

Cute fun little Wolf 3D style FPS. Simple but charming graphics, REALLY good soundtrack, modern controls, and an intuitive level editor, all indie, clearly a labor of love, and all for cheaper than actual Wolfenstein 3D. What is there to complain about?
If you're among the crowd that thinks Wolf 3D is too simple to hold up today, then I guess you might not like it. But if you're someone who still plays ECWolf and Wolf4SDL mods and has a blast (like me) or just wants a cute few hours of fun, it's easily worth the whopping $4.00.

There are tons of 2.5 D shooters in the market rn, but i gotta say this one stands out in the good way, it feels polished, it starts smoothly and most importantly, it's really entertaining.
As you progress in the game you discover new weapons as well as new enemy types and the maps keep evolving so if you don't have good sense orientation you may have a bit of a hard time, but it's great lol.
I'd just love that there was a level selector option so if you are more of a completionist you don't have such a hard time going all over the whole game again just cuz u missed something
Intrude is a blatant Wolfenstein 3D clone that plays by the motto of ''less is more''.
Its simplicity, visual style and soundtrack are what first got my attention, and I wasn't disappointed... controls are responsive and the gunplay feels great. That's everything I expected!
Plus, it's a game that rewards strategy. The other side of the coin is that it can get a bit frustrating at times... you need to carefully manage your ammo and health, because there are no resets as you enter the next level, so if you didn't look good in the previous one, you'll probably suffer quite a bit in the next! Also, there is no saving system except the automatic one at the begining of each level, so that's why you have to play it smart.
It's still a Wolf3D clone though, so it is fast-paced, and it even improved on the level design... initially I enjoyed playing Wolfenstein 3D, but after a while the maze-like level design just bored me out of my mind and it took me years to actually beat the whole game (leaving and returning on it every now and then).
Intrude, on the other hand, surely draws influence from that level design, but keeps maps smaller, more straight-forward and quicker to play, thus more enjoyable.
As I hinted, the soundtrack is really good! It almost sounds like a cross between 90s industrial metal, Doom's MIDI soundtrack and Nine Inch Nails (yeah, remember the link between NIN and id Software? I guess these things are all connected, not a coincidence at all). The only complaint I have is I wish it had more tracks (some repeat in various levels)!
It's pretty short, but it's never a downside to me, so take it as you will... it's not an expensive game, after all.
After beating the game the first time you unlock two new modes which honestly just seem like a novelty to me (I don't feel like replaying it anytime soon, even tho I might one day), and the level editor is a great idea to expand the game's life, but having the Steam Workshop implemented would come in VERY handy!
There's also a few minor problems... for instance, it crashed once when I was at the end of a level (instant ragequit for that day), you can't replay selected levels to 100% without replaying the whole thing, and things like that.
Still, if you're into old-school shooters, minimalism and short indie games, I'd say give it a go!

This may be the most simple steam game I've ever yet enjoyed. Aesthetic may give you an impression that because enemies look how they do, this is some bs game but it's really not. It's a wolf3d clone at the core, sure but a really good one. It has both hitscan and projectile enemies. You also get an rocketlauncher.
It's sort of an labyrinth fps but aside from earlier levels, you tend to keep your sense of navigation quite well. Definite minus is that it has no automap as I know that can be a problem for some players. Sound effects are very good for what this is, not some pew pew bangs. Music also includes some quite rocking tunes.
The controls are simple and quite responsive. However sometimes when firing pistol in quick succession, the mouse will not register all clicks. Framerate is also capped at 60fps but you can run higher refreshrates. Other than that, I'd recommend this if you know what you're getting into. Small little throwback fps for the afternoon.
Intrude is a small project that tried to capture the likes of Wolfenstein 3D with a few modern ammenties and graphic improvements. Although much shorter, it is still a fun experience as it has 3 episodes of 5 levels for each. I know mentioning Wolf 3D might turn people off as it can be very difficult to navigate, but with the level layouts being somewhat smaller sometimes and varied textures, it is easier to find your way.
You get 5 weapons, a knife which is a one-shot for most enemies, a pistol which is good for the whole game, a shotgun which is better up close, a machine gun which shoots faster with less accuracy, and a rocket launcher that does a ton of damage. Each with their own ammo and done well enough in this game that they are fine to use and have a purpose for each throughout. The music is nice, just wish there was more than 5 tracks.
The enemies are different colored, but unnamed soldiers, each with a different weapon from your arsenal. Greens have a pistol, Browns have a baton, Purples have a machine gun, Blues have a rocket launcher, and there is a moving sentry and the final boss. Somewhat simple to fight, but they work and for some reason have telepathy as they often shoot before your round a corner and can never be ambushed. Which brings me to the only bug I found. The Purples shoot a burst and it seems there is something wrong with the targeting because I have had them hit me through walls. Besides that, my only complaint is there desperately needs to be map and stat counter if you want to 100% and helps navigate. There are guides for both already, just kind of needs to be in the game, but the dev(s) seem to have left this project.
In conclusion, a fun experience if you are wanting to play something like Wolf 3D, but shorter and easier.
Intrude is really bland and kinda boring, and is missing some essential components even games made 20 years ago had.
It's a Wolfenstein 3D clone, meaning all the levels exist on a flat plane and you also can't look up or down. Although it's a clone of that game, it doesn't have quick-saving or a map which makes navigating its maze-like levels tedious. The levels themselves are not as complex as your average Wolf3D level but they're still big enough to get lost in and the visual design of the levels is not as good, everything looks the same with the same wall textures and floors.
It's not the worst thing ever, but I just see no reason to play this when many games have done this formula better. Even if you've played Wolfenstein 3D already and want something similar, this really isn't worth your time.

Визуально локации весьма похожи, хоть и немного отличаются что бы не было ощущения, что совсем уже однотипно.
Но самое важное это то, что эксплоринг и лабиринты вырезали вообще. Заблудиться тут невозможно, поиск ключей и прочего совершенно не напрягает и нет "куда мне блин идти?!", за что огромное спасибо разработчикам.
Там же есть пару уникальный уровней, типо аренки или побег от лазеров, что хорошо разбавляет геймплей.

Considering Steam is full of Wolfenstein 3D inspired shovelware, finding an actual good Wolfenstein 3D inspired shooter feels like finding an oasis. Thankfully, Intrude is the latter. While the lack of quick saves is not for everyone and there are some cruel level design moments, it's still genuinely challenging for the most part.

Only Wolfenstein 3D fans need apply. It plays like an almost-finished Wolfenstein 3D 2 that exists in an alternate universe, except for most of the "pixel art" having less detail. Insert moaning about indie games and the memetic "8-bit" artstyle here. I get it though - the game was mostly made by one dude with a budget of nothing.
There is no map, but the levels are smaller to compensate. If you can't understand why it has no saving during levels then I assume you play your games on easy difficulty as you don't seem to enjoy tension. It makes a death more difficult to deal with compared to hitting quickload.
edit: About a week on and I've already forgotten what this game is like. Idk, it was good but ultimately did nothing to make it stand out, and is therefore a pretty forgettable experience. It lacks character. The boring artstyle doesn't help things. I *did have fun*, but I recall very little about the game.

What happens when you take Wolfenstein 3D, put it into a sci-fi environment and add a Doom-style sounding soundtrack? Intrude happens. A great old-school boomer-shooter for everybody who wants to relive the moments from their childhood when they have been secretly playing Wolf3D on a school computer behind the teacher's back. I don't know if retro-style titles such as this can entertain younger generations though, but I want to believe they can. The design of these old shooters, which consists of traversing maze-like corridors, looking for hidden health packs, ammo boxes and even more hidden secret chambers and then suddenly combating large number of enemies in a more open battle arena, does not age in my opinion. This kind of design will always be fun. It is eternal.

I bought this game, because I wanted to try out an shooter like the old "Wolfenstein 3D" and this is what I got: (spoiler: it was far better than expected)
Simple and fun gameplay!
The level-design is really good and challenging for the player. I did not have high expectations, but the basic graphics fit perfect for this type of game and the music keeps you driving forward.
All enemies are well balanced and fun to play against.
CONCLUSION:
Intrude is definitely worth its money and the developers of this game should be proud of themselves!

Its Good I Just wish the game had a map function like doom
I would gladly give this one a thumbs up, if it would not freeze after 2-30 minutes of gameplay. The crash is also somewhat hard to deal with as the window will not close by normal methods and will always be on top by default. Can be dealt with of course, but on top of the game crashing and saving only between levels this is just infuriating.
Please fix or at least make the window close itself, if the game crashes.
Apart from this the game is pretty good.

Este juego tiene una clara influencia de Wolfenstein 3D y rememora un poco el estilo que tenían los FPS en aquel entonces, pero diría que está en un punto intermedio entre ese título y GUN GODZ. Es muy entretenido aunque carece de variedad en armas o enemigos, pero como consta de quince niveles no llega a cansar.
Lo único que echo en falta es un mapa, ya que la cantidad de texturas en los niveles es pobre y repetitiva, llegando en algunos casos a perder al jugador.
Muy recomendable para pasar el rato, en rebajas llega a bajar hasta un pavo y medio. Por ese precio merece la pena darle un tiento.

Funky little game
It's not bad, but it's not that good either. Intrude just feels very basic - I get that it's trying to give the experience of old '2.5D' games, but they could have followed the limitations/style a bit less imo. The textures and 'models' are all limited/re-coloured so everything all looks the same, even across different levels. The sounds are also the same few over and over.
No map means you get lost pretty quickly once the levels get longer and larger. The game only saves once you complete a level, so it's back to the start of the level if you die. You can also still get attacked when you pause the game for whatever reason.
It's not an unreasonable price (£2.99 while writing this), however it's just not really that fun to play.
This is a game that's clearly designed to imitate the classicest of classic shooters, 1992's Wolfenstein 3D, and it does a pretty good job except for some SERIOUS frustrations.
Pros:
-Art style is suitably old-school
-Enemies are clearly distinct
-Weapons feel good to use (other than the shotgun reload taking too long)
-Music is good
Cons:
-Game is very short (15 levels total - maybe 2 hours of content)
-Levels are rather mazey and there's no map (not a big deal given the inspiration)
-The game randomly hard-freezes, requiring a Windows+Tab to switch to a new desktop so you can open task manager and kill the process
-Enemies can kind of shoot you through corners, so you're getting hit by enemies you can't even see.
-NO SAVE FUNCTION. Being able to save mid-level has been around for 30 years now. For crying out loud, the 30-year-old-game this is aping even has mid-level-saving. So, if there's a tough spot on a level and you die (say running down a hallway facing 30 robot enemies that can shoot you before you can really see them), replay the entire level up to that point to try again. Oh, you died again? Then try again again. Oops, the game froze on this attempt? Try again again again. Some of the levels are around 10 minutes long, too, so hooray wasted time.
I really want to like this game more than I do. I bought it at full price during a sale (heresy, I know) because it looked right up my alley, but I just can't recommend it without some MAJOR caveats. If they were to add in a save function, this would be an undeniable recommendation, but it's very frustrating having to replay entire levels over and over and over and over due to some weird design choice that hasn't ever been a part of even the original games in this genre. If you love old-school nostalgia shooters, it might be worth taking a look, but you might find yourself frustrated too. I wish there were a middle-thumb rating, honestly.

It has an interesting presentation and a great feel about it.
But you can't save mid-level. That's a big no-no.
Not only does it mean you need to restart the whole level if you die, but if you need to quit (and some later levels are pretty long) you lose your progress.
PC games should always let you save whenever you wish.
This game is definitely something thats picked off from Wolfenstein 3D. Everything in this game is just like it. Although this game has some praise having it to be pretty smooth and just as simple as Wolfenstein 3D. Only thing this game bothers me is the enemy hitscan, since they can hit you pretty far even in the dark which you cant see. Its annoying but tolerable. The difficulty in this game starts off simply easy, but it builds up to get harder later on. Pretty good game in my opinion, so I say get it if you love Wolfenstein 3D.
Intrude is a game that keeps its scope fairly small. But what Intrude does, it does right.

2. С определённого момента патронов не хватает, притом что я почти не мазал и играл на минимальном уровне сложности (normal). Бежать на вооружённых огнестрелом болванчиков с ножом и криком "ура", бесславно погибать и начинать уровень заново я e6aл.
Great retro fps game for the price. It takes a lot of inspiration from wolf3D but is very basic and with really good strafing. The only really challenging level is the boss fight at the end. But even then, it only took me (someone who is kinda bad at games) three times to beat. There are 15 levels but they all look exactly the same. The best thing about this game is the sadly short gameplay.

Das Spiel ist ein gutes und solides Spiel bei dem echtes Retro-Feeling aufkommt.
Es hätte der totale Knaller sein können und in den Indie-Himmel gelangen können.
Leider ist der Schwierigkeitsgrad in Normal (Easy nicht vorhanden) viel zu schwer für "normal".
Die Programmierer haben es sich mal wieder zu einfach gemacht bzw. den Spielern zu schwer.
Das ... gepaart mit der fehlenden Speicherfunktion (Speicherpunkt automatisch nur am Anfang eines jeden Levels) ... machen das Spiel ab Level 2-4 zu einem Frust-Lauf.
Denn einen anderen Speicherstand laden wenn zu wenig Munition vom vorherigen Level übrig geblieben ist das ist ja (Wie schon vorher erwähnt) nicht möglich.
Ausweichen vor Gegnern ist auch nur schwer möglich.
Die Schrotflinte ist in meinen Augen viel zu schwach gegen normalen Pistolero-Gegnern.
Zumal die Intervalle des Schießens mit der Schrotflinte ab und an aussetzen beim drücken auf die Maus.
Aber das ist alles nicht das allerschlimmste.
Es hätte dennoch alles schön sein können wenn der Editor durchdacht gewesen wäre.
Die große Stärke des Spiels ist leider auch die totale Schwäche ... nämlich der Editor.
Ein Browser für User-Generierte Maps fehlt völlig.
Stattdessen wird im Steam-Forum gepostet man soll auf Fremdwebseiten die Maps tauschen.
Sowas geht gar nicht.
Auf Grund dieser ganzen nervigen Details kann ich von mir her nur einen Daumen runter geben.
Ich hätte es mir wirklich anders gewünscht ... aber so ist es beim besten Willen nicht möglich. :-/

В общем, Intrude - это клон Wolfenstein3D и Corridor7 от фаната для фанатов.
Сюжет не имеет особо значения, он лишь задаёт сеттинг происходящего, а именно - военная база будущего с лазерами и супер компьютерами.
Вы сбегаете из тюрьмы, охрана вас пытается сначала отдубасить дубинками, затем попытается застрелить из дробовиков, потом из автоматов, а потом из ракетниц. И вот я перечислил почти все типы врагов. Ваш арсенал, следовательно, пополняется аналогичными пушками, со временем.
Подход разработчика к картостроению вполне здравый (но не без огрехов) - сначала вам демонстративно показывают нововведение (лазерная ловушка, разрушаемые стены и т.д.), а уже потом отправляют вглубь карты, где фишки применяются на деле. То есть в игре нет ситуаций, когда вы не знаете, что делает та или иная вещь. Плюс, фишки наслаиваются постепенно, вам, как минимум, дают пройти целый уровень, чтобы свыкнуться с механиками.
Однако, игра не слишком легкая. Даже на обычной (она тут минимальная) сложности патронов пусть и хватает, но впритык. Та же история с броней и аптечками. А количество врагов растёт с каждым новым уровнем. Уровней всего 15, тематически они разделены на 3 эпизода. На три эпизода всего три трека. Это я считаю минусом, при первом забеге приедалась музыка довольно быстро. Но само качество музыки (и звуков) отличное. По длительности игру можно осилить за пару часов (есть ачивка за спидран игры за час).
В отличие от Вольфенштейна, поиск секретных мест вознаграждается расширенной концовкой, обусловлено это тоже сюжетом (пусть и не очень подробно). Однако, финальный босс, на мой взгляд, подкачал очень сильно как в плане дизайна, так и в плане постановки боя.
Еще добавлю, что есть легкий в освоении редактор карт. Для мододелов это может быть интересно. Лично я что-нибудь сделаю.
Играть рекомендую тем, кого от Вольфенштейна 3д не воротит.

[h1]Minimalistischer Wolfenstein-3D-Klon mit Anspruch[/h1]
Wenn ein Spiel die Bezeichnung »[i][b]Wolfenstein 3D[/b][/i]-Klon« verdient hat, dann das mit dem GameMaker Studio entwickelte [i][b]Intrude[/b][/i]. In diesem sollen wir mit unserem namenlosen Protagonisten eine eigentlich längst stillgelegte Untergrund-Basis infiltrieren, in der sich unbekannte, paramilitärische Einheiten eingenistet haben. Das Ziel: Ebene 15.
Auf dem Weg dahin schießen wir uns mit einem recht konventionellen und überschaubaren Arsenal (Pistole, Pumpaction, Minigun und Raketenwerfer) durch Soldaten mit derselbigen Bewaffnung. Das Environment ist wie in [i][b]Wolfenstein 3D[/b][/i] sehr schlicht gehalten, jeder der 15 Level sieht abgesehen vom Level-Layout identisch aus, Vertikalität gibt es nicht. Der ein oder andere hält dann aber doch auch eine Überraschung parat. Die Spielzeit ist vergleichsweise kurz – es gibt sogar ein Achievement dafür, das Spiel in unter einer Stunde durchzuspielen.
Das dürfte im ersten Durchgang aber eher nicht zu schaffen sein; [i][b]Intrude[/b][/i] bietet durchaus den Anreiz für mehrere Partien. Zu Beginn ist nur der Standard-Modus verfügbar, nach einmaligem Durchspielen können wir entweder im »Melter«- oder »Explosive«-Modus von vorne beginnen. In ersterem verschießen alle Waffen (also auch die der Gegner) Energiebolzen, die mehr Schaden verursachen. In letzterem ... nun, das kann man sich denken. Tatsächlich ist der Retro-Shooter kein Titel, in dem man einfach wie ein T-850 durch die Gänge marschieren und wild um sich ballern sollte. Gerade die späteren Level sind recht knackig – mit Healtpoints aber auch mit Munition sollte, trotz überall verteilten Medpacks und Muni-Kisten, nicht allzu sorglos umgegangen werden – sonst steht man plötzlich auf Ebene 12 nur noch mit dem Messer und 8 HP da. Zusätzlich erschwert wird das Ganze dadurch, dass nur am jeweiligen Level-Anfang gespeichert wird – freies Speichern gibt’s nicht.
Als weiteren Ausgleich für den überschaubaren Umfang hat [i][b]Intrude[/b][/i] einen der wohl am einfachsten zu bedienenden Level-Editoren mit an Bord, denn die Videospielgeschichte je gesehen hat. Damit könnte selbst eine Amöbe etwas vernünftig hinbekommen. Schade ist jedoch, dass der grundsätzlich gelungene Soundtrack nur recht wenige Stücke zu bieten hat.
[b][u]FAZIT[/u][/b]
[i][b]Intrude[/b][/i] ist in fast jeder Hinsicht, wie sein großes Vorbild nach heutigem Maßstab, recht minimalistisch gehalten. Dafür ist es aber kein Spaziergang im Park. Zwar ist der erste Playthrough schnell erledigt, [i][b]Intrude[/b][/i] kann aber durchaus durch die freischaltbaren Modi zum mehrmaligen Durchspielen motivieren. Für die 4 Euro Standard-Preis für Leute mit einem entsprechenden Faible für derartige Retro-Shooter definitiv einen Blick wert, mit einem ähnlich gelagerten [i][b]Project Warlock[/b][/i] kann es aber eindeutig nicht mithalten.

If you enjoy playing Wolfenstein 3D or Blake Stone in much smoother format, Intrude may be for you...maybe! Game plays smooth, audio & visuals are perfect for retro inspired FPS, it's simple but enjoyable. But that's all there is to it, although the game is promising, it lets you down on all other areas.

• Pause doesn't exists so if you're fighting for good time don't expect to visit the toilet
• Secrets are too simple or impossible to find (you shoot barrel and secret is opened). Some are reached by going through the wall so you have to run into each wall.

I just played Intrude from start to finish: I liked the game but I didn't loved it. Here's why: the movement speed is slow (you can't run in a FPS game ?!), medkits and armor are scarce and you must tread carefully with your ammo, which doesn't grow in corridors. About the enemies, they're very tricky and you must avoid their shots, which are pretty harmful.
Intrude is an homage to Wolfenstein 3D, but if you loved that timeless classic you should like the former. However, don't expect big from that game (it can be completed in less than 2 hours) and wait for a discount.

Hat mir viel Spaß gemacht, + 2 weiteren Durchlauf Modi der erste Modi verschießt man Plasmas ab, und nach denn anderen durchspiel kann man EXPLOSION durchspielen also Raketenwerfer! Für 100% hatte ich viel Frust und hatte keine Lust mehr drauf alles zuerreichen...habs aber denn dochnoch erreicht :P
Für 100% müsst ihr viel Geduld und Ehrgeiz haben! Es gibt gar keinen Guide für 100%, bloss, eine Map wohin es Versteckten Objekten oder auch Eingänge zeigt mehr müsst man selber erreichen.
Ich habe es ca. 10x durchgespielt und bin damit sehr zufrieden, wer kleines Shooter für bisschen "Pew Pew" sucht, ist hier richtig!

[b][i]Pas besoin d’un oeil à la cybermancie divine pour observer depuis plusieurs années un retour nostalgique aux Fast Fps d’antan, toutes époques confondues. Si la plupart vantent la période Quake/Unreal et leurs moteurs 3D polygônés, certains n’ont pas hésité à singer les origines du genre, évoquant Doom et ses dérivés. Intrude offre des sensations proches de ce dernier, mais adopte une simplicité mécanique et atmosphérique qui rappelle plutôt Wolfenstein 3D, le “Daddy”.[/i][/b]
Perdu dans une zone peu fréquentée de notre terrain de fouille favori, la Jungle Steam, Intrude se permet tout juste quelques apparitions sauvages en période de soldes. L’austérité et le manque de personnalité de ses screenshots n’aident pas à approcher l’animal, pourtant abordable du fait de son petit prix.

Un scénario aussi plat que son level design :
Une base abandonnée soudainement occupée. Et un seul homme missioné pour s’infiltrer (comprendre par là “massacrer tout les occupants”) et détruire la source d’un signal qui, apparemment, nous embête, sans plus de détails, mais bon, c’est pas comme si la narration nous intéressait. Ça tombe bien, il n’y en a pas.
[h1]Le Minimalisme[/h1]
Architecture sobre, toute en salles et en blocs identiques. Un seul type d’ennemis dont seule la couleur varie. Pas d’option de difficulté. Pas de sauvegarde rapide : on reprend le jeu au début du dernier niveau entamé. Intrude est sec, pour ne pas dire aride, et pourtant efficace.
[h1]La révélation[/h1]
Le simple “Swap Color” de nos adversaire suffit à identifier rapidement leurs types et leurs niveaux de menace. Il y a les Jaunes qui vous foncent dessus un PSMove à la main (c’est ce que j’ai trouvé de plus ressemblant) qui fait un bruit de ressort en guise d’arme de corps-à corps, les classiques Verts, au Pistolet, les Violets, plus vénères… Et puis il y a quelques autres dangers (ces %@!!?^£ de petites boules qui volent et leurs projectiles impossibles à éviter…).
La musique est au diapason : simple, entraînante.
Et ça bouge bien – vite très vite –; A tel point que votre vitesse (et votre confiance) peut devenir votre pire ennemi (attention aux lasers !)
Le jeu se paye même le luxe d’avoir des idées de gameplays variant un peu (bien trop rare) comme cette longue fuite en avant qui ne donne pas le droit à l’erreur.
[h1]Intrude dans la coque[/h1]
Tout juste pourrait-on lui reprocher une difficulté en dents de scie. L’approche de l’animal s’avère difficile, pour ensuite n’être que caresses avant de soudainement redevenir sauvage. Ce n’est pas forcément les niveaux les plus avancés qui m’ont donné du fil à retordre. Il faut donc persevérer un minimum pour découvrir les quelques idées plaisantes que le jeu nous propose plus tard.
Cela va sans dire que la durée de vie est moindre, rapport au gabarit du jeu. Petit. Mais mignon. D’autant que pour les maniaques de la complétion, les succès vous demanderont la maîtrise d’un Speedrunner ou le calme d’un moine bouddhiste, et que le jeu a, dans la grande tradition du genre, son lot de pièces cachées, seule manière de récupérer les “données” exigées par le “scénario”.
En fonction, compter entre 5 et plus de 10h de jeu.
[h1]IntRude[/h1]
N’imaginez pas que sa modestie vous laissera le mener par le bout du nez. Le jeu saît se montrer tendu et a eu le chic pour me faire monter en tension. Certains niveaux sont extrêmement longs et ne pardonnent pas. Parfois chiches en soins et souvent en munitions, vous feriez mieux de ne pas râter trop de cibles et d’économiser vos balles – ce qui va souvent de pair avec la prise de risque, d’où un cercle vicieux amenant à retenter en boucle les mêmes chapitres-. Ajoutez à cela quelques pièges et apparitions soudaines en mode “Die-and-retry”, ainsi que quelques injustices (tirs ennemis à travers des coins de mûrs et leur visée parfaite depuis de longs couloirs plongés dans le noir) et vous obtenez un jeu nerveux capable de vous faire “Introude” dans le cerveau.
Tout juste pouvez-vous activer le curseur de visée dans les options, absent de base, seul maigre équivalent ici à un mode “facile”.
[h1]CONCLUSION[/h1]
Finalement plaisant, exigeant, rageant, assez précis, ce jeu d’un seul homme (Michel Kruba) est comme une friandise qu’on aimerait voir décliner dans de nouvelles saveurs – plus de personnalité, évolution des décors et ennemis etc….
Mais à ce prix, le jeu ne triche pas. Petite dose entre deux livraisons de came, Intrude est un petit coït vite fait avec un(e) inconnu(e) : on en a ni plus ni moins, et ça coûte le prix d’un verre en province.

Ein schönes kleines modernisiertes Wolfenstein 3D für wenig Geld. Lohnt sich definitiv für die kurze aber sehr spaßige Spielzeit und bietet sogar einen kleinen Editor um eigene Level zu basteln. Empfehlenswert!

Un gran juego, con una sensibilidad adecuada a tu estilo y tus habilidades lo hara un juegazo. Sus logros son dificiles, igual que si dificultad en algunos momentos, lo que lo hace adictivo y un gran reto. El toque de Doom y Wolfenstein 3D lo hace nostalgico. Lo recomiendo bastante, y principalmente si se logra conseguir a un precio sumamente rebajado. Si tuviera alguna manera de jugarse online, seria brutal.

This game is impressive in terms of graphics and performance. For a game made with Gamemaker, It handled 3D very smooth and clean. I appreciate it.
However, The gameplay is a serious letdown. Here's why:
- Player's movement speed is slow as hell. It's too annoying.
- This game is ridiculously shy at placing health and armor pickups. to make the matters worse, You can't heal after beating the levels. If you cleared the level with low health, the next level will be a hell.
- slow weapon progress. In doom, I can quickly get shotgun, chaingun and chainsaw in the early levels of the episodes. Even wolfenstein 3D quickly provided machine gun in the first level. In this game, You get shotgun at the near end of 1-2. until that happens, I have to use pistol. It's so tedious.
These three reasons were enough to make me quit. I have only reached 1-2, but this game has only 5 enemies, 1 boss, and 4 weapons, so I don't think the later levels would be worth to play. This game could be much better with some tweaks, but appearantly it's adandoned by the developers now.
Not recommended, just play Wolfenstein 3D.
Great little game for a low price. This is an old school shooter a la the early 90s, as would be obvious from even just one screenshot. I had a lot of fun with this, and I haven’t finished it yet.
So far I can say that the shooting and weapons are good, but the levels are very simple. I wasn’t expecting wild novel level design every time in a $4 game but it’s something to be aware of. Levels are completely flat, with the same texture on every wall, and many areas are copies.
But for $4 this is a lot of fun! Worth a look.
This game is definitely retro and in a good way. While I feel it is basic in many ways it was also quite fun and for only 4 bucks I feel I already got my money's worth. I wanted to wait to review it until I completed the campaign at least once to see how it all played out. Despite the fairly similar enemies (barring the end boss and the sentry drones), and the rather basic AI and appearance of the game it's a solid shooter and I reccomend it even with a few things that bugged me.
The biggest negative for me was that enemies can shoot through corners, the regular strafe to duck behind a corner to avoid getting shot didn't work well unless I moved a bit further to the side. While annoying it wasn't game breaking and I was able to work with this limitation. Alsom the music is actually very good but there are 3 clusters of 5 levels (1-1 to 1-5, 2-1 to 2-5, and 3-1 to 3-5) and each cluster had its own music but there are only 3 tunes in total so it was a bit repetitive despite all 3 being good tracks.
The two most important things for me; fun and functional are here for sure; I had a good time and it ran smooth with no crashes, stutters, or other glitches. It may look basic but it was hardly easy once you got moving past the first couple of levels and I love this style of game even if I'd like more levels and variety in the appearance of those levels.
It even comes with a custom level builder and while I didn't mess around with it, it's hard to beat a game this fun for only 4 dollars as its normal price. This is a great first outing by Michal Kruba and I hope he makes more games in future based on this early effort.
This should have more level variation, a minimap and some save points. But besides the flaws, it's a nice Wolfenstein-like FPS, and it comes with a level editor.
I regret buying this game.

This is a relatively short, but very fun and challenging, game. It is a homage to old school FPS, like Wolf3D, SoD and Blake Stone.
Unfortunately it lacks a quicksave feature, or anything similar. The game automatically saves at the beginning of each level, but if you die, you have to start the level again. Which can be a pain, but it is still a great little game.
It comes with a level editor as well, which is rather user friendly, from the brief time I've had with it.
With the recent emergence of old school FPS games that cater to the late '90s, it's nice to see something that's going with the early '90s aesthetic.
If you're a fan of Wolf3D, you can't go wrong, especially at this price.
its an overall enjoyable little shooter even tho its very difficult but i have found 1 glitch that completly destroys this game and should be fixed immediately, so i finished the whole game and was like "ya i'll start a new game" so i did so and the game started me off with only the knife and 19 hp, I uninstalled steam and the game countless time to no change whats so ever. please fix.
Pretty decent Wolfenstein 3D clone. It takes some inspiration from Doom with it's weapon selection choices as well as with how each weapon serves its own purpose.
The problem for me was the level design. There are almost no health or armor packs, and with no saving in-between levels, this makes progressing through the game extremely tedious. There is almost no room for error. I found myself often finishing levels with around 10 or 20HP left, leaving me to die repeatedly on the next level until I completely memorized it. I would fix this by making this current difficulty "Hard Mode" and adding a new "Normal" difficulty with more health packs on each map.
This game has potential to be more than what it is. If there ever is a sequel or DLC, I'd like to see a backpack item, more enemy types (that arent hitscan please), and an automap.

Из хорошего: хорошие лабиринтовые уровни, но при этом без карты обходишься нормально. И вменяемая сложность: враги хитсканят, но время на реакцию есть адекватное. К тому с игрой без прицела начинает играть роль размер - в мелкие турели сложно попать. Тактика какая-никакая есть.
А теперь по плохому. Почему в похожем 8bit killer всё лучше, кроме разве что сложности (она слишком простая). Врагов больше видов, уровней хоть меньше, но они разнообразней выглядят, да и музыка куда лучше и атмосферней стилю.
Незачет, если кратно. Сыграть можно, но не фонтан.
Very fun and well made retro FPS in the vein of Wolfenstein 3D. Can easily be beaten in under an hour, though a first playthrough should take from two to three. Very replayable due to offering two extra campaign modes aside from the default one, and all in all enjoyable to both play casually and speedrun. Level design is surprisingly good given the design limitations of old school "maze" shooters. Comes with a level editor, though at the time of this writing there is no Steam Workshop support of any kind. Custom levels are currently available on third party sites maintained by fans.
"Inspired by old FPS titles" is a good bait for people like me. When you played too much old games and want something with similar feel, you look for that kind of games. Sadly this one is nothing but a cheap imitation that fails to deliver a concept that is around for decades. List of things that are wrong with this game:
-only 4 weapons, all of them generic and dull
-only 4 enemies, all of them generic and dull
-only 3 chapters, that dont differ one from another
-all levels have exact same tileset, which is, you guessed, pretty dull
-no saves on levels, if you die you will have to navigate the whole map again
-said maps have no map and feel like a big mess, thanks to the exact same textures for every wall
For a game that you can finish in an hour, this game is way too boring to finish it even once.
Awesome little game, a true throwback to the classic FPS. Levels are simple, but still manage to provide interesting, innovative challenges with some pretty cool level design. The weapon sound effects are top-notch, shooting an enemy is extremely satisfying.
Music is awesome and fits the style well. As some others have said, it does get a little bit repetitive, and I felt that the wall/floor textures also could have used more variety, as well as enemies. Basically, I just wanted more of this game, and if there's one flaw to have, that's a pretty good one.
Kind of short, but very very sweet and definitely worth the price. Highly recommend this game to anyone looking for fast-paced old school FPS action. Intrude scratches an itch that not a lot of games manage to, these days.

Игра достаточно клевая, в духе вульфы 3д, скорее даже дум 1 2, все атмосферно, но лишь первое время. ВСЕ ИЗ-ЗА ОДНООБРАЗНЫХ КОРИДОРОВ. Просто невозможно отыскать эту гребаную дверь, когда ты убил всех врагов. Все стены однообразные и часто я терял направление движения и возвращался назад. Все исправила бы миникарта с туманом войны (ну рил не разберешь где север где юг).
А еще. Вражины в игры ппц меткие. вот так особо не побегаешь как показано в ролике игры (и это на легком уровне сложности). Приходится ныкаться по углам и оттуда всех вражин отстреливать (хотя это не особо портит ощущение от игры, как будто я начинаю играть со среднего уровня сложности).
Игру конечно бы посоветовал, она рили клевая, хоть и косяки имеются (ну может подправят со временем). Тем более, что она не дорогая, всего то полтора бакса. Так что если кто соскучился по олдскульным гамесам ---> вперед и с песней покупать, гамать и наслаждаться.
El control y los movimientos son muy fluidos, la acción rápida es tipo DooM Clásico, los entornos y los gráficos son mas de estilo Wolfenstein, Es un juego divertido, muy sencillo de controlar. solo se echa en falta mas variedad en la música, el resto es Perfecto.

Neat game, it reminds me to wolfenstein and commander blake (that old apogee game).
- The game is fair (not imposible but you are going to die if you go all in)
- Is cool how the game teach you the mechanic (a guy dies in lvl 2 by lasers, in another lvl you have to blow up a barrel to know that there are crackeable walls, in the 3rd chapter a guy comes out from a fake wall so u can know that fake walls are a thing)
- lvl 1-5 is really fun
- There is replayable value with the other gamemodes
Is really worth it for the price.
Considering I got it for only $2, which was at least worth the entertainment value, I'd recommend it. But only just barely. It does have its share of issues.
No map, no manual saving, a lack of basic options like key mapping, VERY repetitive levels, a lack of variety in just about everything... but at least it plays well and the art is nice.
If you can get this game on sale, and if you enjoyed Wolfenstein 3d, give it a try. But don't expect anything exceptional.
A very solid, 21st century successor to Wolfenstein 3D.
Intrude is an oldschool Wolfenstein/Doom hybrid. While enjoyable and short, it is plagued with a few frustrating design choices.
The graphics are pixelated and the art style is, as mentioned, a well-done mix of Wolfenstein and DOOM. The music is absolutely amazing, and it's a shame there is only one track per episode, a little variety would've gone a long way.
And that's kind of a recurring theme here. There are is a knife and four weapons (pistol, shotgun, minigun, rocket launcher) which all use their respective ammo type (bullets, shells, large bullets and rockets). Basic, but effective. There are four human enemies which are all pixelated dudes of various colors: white - melee attack, green - pistol attack, purple - assault rifle, blue - rocket launcher. Then there's the classic 90s annoying enemy type, a small drone with a rather infuriatingly small hitbox. Again, there isn't much, but what there is... it's good. Would it be better if there were more enemy types and guns? Yes. Are the ones present enough? Sure.
But it all boils down to the most important question: is the game fun and worth your money? There are two answers here. If you're fed up playing Wolf3D/Spear of Destiny or DOOM for the n+1th time or you're after a short but quality distraction, definitely. It plays more or less the same as these games and the game consists of 15 levels broken up into three episodes (5 levels) each and they feature the standard key-hunting and pixel-dude exterminating gameplay of yore. It worked then, and it works now. I wished it were a bit longer (then again, I don't - see below) health and ammo were just a teensy bit more generously distributed, but if you're careful and don't waste resources, you should be fine. In short, the game is good, the controls are responsive, the enemy AI is excellent considering the budget this game was made with, they have recognizable attack patterns (I wish they would have unique callouts, instead they all just shout the same "Hey!"), they retreat and flank you... Good stuff. The weapons are also few, but, again, effective. To sum up, it ticks all the boxes in the gameplay department (maybe not the "extremely complex shooting" one).
EDIT: I just finished the game twice in "Melting" mode (going for the speedrun achievement) which transforms your bullets into cell projectiles - but also the enemies' fire! This game is what the base game should have been. Projectile-based gameplay is so much more rewarding and intense than hitscan (not saying hitscan is bad, but I strongly prefer projectile). "Explosive" mode is ridiculous though, but I think that was kind of the point.
I said there are two answers to "is the game fun?", so here's the second one. This game is fun, yes, but if you're a completionist... stay away from this game. FAR away. It's not worth it. Why? Because there's no saving in this game apart from the auto-save at the beginning of your last played level. Let me rephrase that: in order to get the achievements to find all the secrets/kills/barrels/data cores in the game, you have to do so in ONE playthrough in the ONLY slot this game provides you with. The game doesn't even have a real-time tally of collected secrets and killed enemies, so you can't know if you've missed something until you've FINISHED the level. Missed a barrel on level 13 of 15? Tough, you have to restart the whole game. Missed one enemy in level 3? Start over. This is downright infuriating and honestly, it's a totally cheap way to waste your time. I really can't decide which tactic would waste more time: try and get all the collectibles in one playthrough or focus on one collectible in multiple playthroughs. I think the creator of this game thought to himself "how could squeeze the most playtime from people in this 2-something-hour game?" or something, because it's baffling to me. While I agree that quicksaves can be abused and these games can become too easy if that happens, the very LEAST that could be implemented was a hud element that shows "Data cores: 0/1, Kills: 45/64 etc." to let the player know they're not done - it would still lengthen the playtime and I'd actually WANT to explore the well-designed levels instead of fearing the Exit button. Or, you could give the player a choice when they hit the exit button: LMB - next level, R - restart level. There are numerous other ways to squeeze extra hours from players, but the way it was done in this game is seriously the worst way I've ever seen. I hate checkpoint systems, but I'd take that over this crap anyday. Yeah, an argument could be made that the levels aren't long, but that's a bad excuse for a cheap way to increase difficulty and total playtime. Put another way, this game wants to make you NOT want to play it. I'm a completionist, sometimes even when it's not worth it, and a stubborn person to boot - if you can get *me* to throw my hands in the air and say "not worth it", then you done messed up somewhere. EDIT: someone was kind enough to post maps with collectible locations, and that makes the whole thing a lot more doable and bearable, but it's still an annoying mechanic.
Other than a lack of saving, there are some oddly basic things missing from the game. There's no sprint feature (I hope I don't have to tell you that you can't jump, crouch or look up/down), although I didn't really feel there was need for one other than pandering to people like me who are used to it. However, there is no option for custom keybindings altogether (if you don't have a QWERTY/QWERTZ keyboard, good luck), no windowed mode, the Steam overlay works but screenshots don't. At least there's a FOV slider and a mouse sensitivity setting, but apart from the resolution (all 16:9) that's pretty much it.
Some people will say "yeah, but the game was made by one person", and I agree it's an amazing game for a one-man project (well, two-man if you count the guy who did the music), but that doesn't automatically absolve you of any criticism for lacking basic features games have had since 1991. I mean, no custom keybinds... seriously?
So at the end, should you buy it? I'd say yes, it's cheap as it is and it's like 2€ during sales, but be aware what you're in for: great gameplay, artstyle and music, but a severe lack of features and a frustrating save system (or lack thereof).

I am finding it hard to feel any sort of drive to finish this "game", the dev somehow thinks that he is equal the iD software by making this so called "homage". Features that were basic in 1992 can not be found in this Indie title, basic things like control options, an escape menu, a map, any sort of manual saving functionality, again are not found in this title. had different enemy types that you could clearly identify by sight and sound, Intude has a single sound bite "hey" for every single human based enemy.
Intrude is repetitive, was repetitive but it had an excuse, this "indie" title has none of those excuses, the developer literally had more then 20 years to figure out how to improve upon a known and well respected franchise. Instead he appears to have cut even more basic functions from what is now ancient gameplay mechanics and made his title even MORE basic. As I stated earlier there is a single sound bite for every single enemy type in the game when they see you. The music is also painfully repetitive and not in a good way, again had excuses and honestly a better musical score that didn't repeat across entire chapters! For comparisons sake 3D which was released in 1992 had 27 tracks including menu and credit, Intrude has 4! Weapon sounds are fine however there's no real impact, again 20+ years in the future but still can't do it better then a game made in 1992.
The color pallet is awful, again had valid reasons, just because you're trying to keep it "retro" doesn't excuse you from putting any effort into your level design and art, the color pallet is even more bland then 3D. Enemy types do not have different tactics, they all walk around or side to side and shoot you, only one actually pushes forward and that is a melee only enemy type. They all look the same, again 3D in 1992 had a more obvious cast of enemy types then this title made in 2016. The enemies you face have very inconsistent damage hitboxes, someone you can actually dodge fire and other times you get hit around corners, funny didn’t' have that problem, if they could see you they could possibly hit you, not to much in this game that was released in 2016. Enemies also can hit you when they are beyond your in game visual range, because there was totally "fog" in that limited how far you could see right? Oh wait... no there wasn't... On top of obviously cheap and lazy programming the dev also added laser fences, all of which move faster then your slow walking speed. These totally fair and balanced “enemies” are an instant kill, and since there are several times in the game where you have to somehow out run these fast moving or on and off laser fences you will die a lot to these cheap mechanics that are just there to kill you and make you play the entire level over again. Not well designed, so already the enemies and environmental hazards are not fun and you are punished for just playing the game, yeah sounds like something I want to keep playing right?
The lack of any basic "retro" features is pathetic, no manual save or even quick save and loading?! Again you're beaten by a game that was made when they were pioneering the first person shooter genre! How do you screw that up?! No customizable controls, again 1992 did it, no in game map, 1992 did it, yet you kept the frustrating part about 3D which was the labyrinthine like maze levels but left out the areas that easily designated them as different zones and neglected to give the player a map. Enemies that do not drop ammo upon death, why? To make it more frustrating? I can tell you it’s not retro so why do it that way? Health pick ups are not even remotely plentiful like they were in which makes the lack of a save function even more painful.
This is a shell, a pale imitation of something that was done better by leaps and bounds in 1992! How do you charge money for something that is worse in practically every single way to something that was release 20+ years ago?! I've tried to give every aspect of this title a fair shake but really even the music isn't that good, it's fine maybe the first 1 or 2 times but when you hear it across 5+ levels per chapter and they are so short of a file. Everything works so hard to make the experience of playing this title painful and boring. The fact that I’ve seen mods for both Doom and surpass this title in every way shape and form, visually, artistically and fully upgrade the functionality makes me wonder what the developer was thinking when he charged money for this. I mean you can play a version of that is so beyond what the original was it’s honestly mind blowing yet here we have a “full” game that is even less functionality and soul then even the original and free mods! Even at the price of $4 it is NOT worth it, maybe single dollar, MAYBE but you can easily buy the originals and be able to mod them for FREE and get more for your money then this.
