I am sorry. Truelly love a storytelling in this game, which touches somewhat taboo episode of our history.
Also this game is from my czech borthers.

But , eeh well , i fell sorry, especially for a dude doing combat system. They had to be really far behind dead line or what, because nobody sensible wouldn't release it in this condition.

There had to be literally no balance testing , or a guys did a game for themselves only .....

我喜欢阅读crpg的文本，我也玩过暗黑2重制版，但是这款称为合并crpg和暗黑2的游戏设计的太不合理了。装备学习暗黑2的鉴定修理，但是价格有很高，我也没找到鉴定卷轴存在，要么NPC花钱给你鉴定，要么自己点出鉴定能力。但是这里面crpg元素的能力设计简直坑人，每个能力分为门徒、学徒...以此类推4个等级，每个等级不仅要求你的某一项数值（智力、敏捷...）达标+加点数达标，还需要人物本身等级达标，crpg的加点自由度？不存在的，你只能老实升级，从前期残疾人变强。这游戏本来就只有骑士，法，贼三个职业，这样一来法爷就永远是法爷，智力优势，能鉴定能卷轴开锁，其他两个就是残疾人。最重要的还是钱，游戏里的经济设计太烂，贼和骑士根本就没法靠鉴定过的装备卖钱，各种东西死贵，传送也是，这游戏没有crpg的大小休也没有暗黑2的传送卷轴，但你不补状态怎么过，这样不是难上加难？总之制作组想法非常好，但是这些人性化设计太缺失了。另外这游戏没法改键位，我键盘没有pause break，没法即使暂停。

优点还是有：
+丰富着迷的对话，真丰富，特别喜欢和每个npc聊天
+90 00 年代的俯视角美术，复古的好看

我是先下载了盗版试玩，打了会觉得，哇真不错，于是蹲到打折买了正版，结果非人性化的内容就开始出现了，直接让我对这游戏的评价倒转。要是真对这游戏感兴趣的，不免可以下载个盗版试试，大概3个小时你就知道这游戏的人性化设计是否适合你了，这时候再买正版也不迟，存档是通用的

Hi,
Great game from the past with plenty of options for customization, which I liked a lot. You have access to most of the stuff at the get go huge plus in games, freedom exploring is always good.
it is definitely one of those old games that is just great, I enjoyed my time with it, even if it had to fell short.
Why I quit?
Well there is a stamina system which drains super quick, than you atack slower you walk slower the regenaration is non existing.
The chance to hit system that I always hate in games. Somehow it seems like my archer charachter can only hit 4 out of 10 shots and when they hit the damage seems to be weak. even tho I sacrifices any defencive skills in which i spend all my points on buffing my only weapon and skills.
Spells are ok but I do not found most of tham that usefull.
it might be that Im missing something which can be the case because there was so much text I pretty much skipped most of the reading.

Un bon petit jeu, mixte entre un diablo II et un baldur's gate. Les graphismes sont moyen pour un jeu de 2012 même si on peut lui reconnaître sa propre pâte artistique.
La traduction française est exceptionnelle et l'histoire est bien écrite avec beaucoup de texte.
Le mélange ambiance médiéval + enquête inquisitoriale est bien fait et pour les plus psychopathe d'entre nous bien que peut nombreuse les phases de torture sont vraiment soignées on s'y croirait ;)

Tengo sentimientos encontrados con este juego. [b]Inquisitor[/b] es un RPG de acción que tiene un argumento destacable, pero una jugabilidad desastrosa. En él somos un inquisidor que debe investigar la muerte de un comerciante. Esta simple premisa se ramifica y al final nada parece lo que es. La escritura es preciosa y si no te gusta leer, es probable que no sea un juego para vos. Tiene una absurda cantidad de texto, que a diferencia de la opinión de otros, está completamente justificada.

El verdadero problema de [b]Inquisitor[/b] es la jugabilidad completamente desbalanceada y un diseño que no piensa en el tiempo del jugador. Pelear cuerpo a cuerpo es completamente inutil. El inventario se llena rápidamente con objetos de misión que vamos a llevar prácticamente todo el juego. Los debuff enemigos, como por ejemplo el envenenamiento, pueden durar literalmente 4 minutos, haciéndote daño por cada segundo. Las dungeon son enormes y te obligan constantemente a ir de una punta a la otra y a veces, encontrar interruptores ocultos para avanzar. Luego está el sin sentido que algunos enemigos del Acto I son más fuertes que los enemigos del Acto III. El inventario no se ordena solo y estás obligado a estar ordenando para que entren más objetos. No existe un “conjuro de teletransporte” por lo que luego de recorrer una dungeon de 5 pisos, tenes que subir cada piso para volver a la ciudad sumando horas vacías de juego. Y puedo seguir…

No obstante [b]Inquisitor[/b] tiene un buen argumento que en lo personal me llevó a jugarlo completamente pese a sus defectos. Tiene buen número de misiones secundarias y todas están bien escritas. Visualmente es increíble y está cargado de detalles. Su nivel sonoro es muy bueno y genera una buena inmersión en cada escenario.

Dicho todo esto, ¿es recomendable jugar a [b]Inquisitor[/b]? Si te gustan las historias oscuras y la lectura, te diría que sí, pero con algunas consideraciones: jugar en la dificultad más baja y tener siempre una lista de cheats a manos para cuando la cosa se pone complicada. Ante casos de bugs, el foro tiene a uno de los desarrolladores que participa activamente para brindarte soluciones y eso es algo que no se ve muy a menudo. Ahora si preferís un juego dinámico la verdad es que deberías buscar en otro lado. No es un clon de Diablo ni mucho menos. Tiene una duración aproximada de 60 horas (y puede que más si te ponés con todas las side-quest). Se consigue a buen precio y no tiene logros ni cromos.

This game is like a hidden gem. For the fans of games like Arcanum, Fallout 1-2. This is what you need. The only suggestion for the players, do not throw or destroy items, especially quest items, otherwise you'll need start again. Overall 9/10.

The game was well done. Its got a LOT of story and stats detail. TOO MUCH IMO. The game would be SO much more fun,if they had not put in SO much dialogue to read. I got sleepy just reading the stuff in the first town. Mechanics are ok for the time period. Story is like Divinity Original Sin...who murdered who type,leading to other quests. Causal fun game,if you can get past ALL that reading.

Deep Character Progression items looking good allready at the start.

UI / QOL could be better but the game is very old.

YES BUT WITH A FEW RESERVATIONS!

The story is great and I think that's what is saving the game but on the technical aspects it could have been better, WAY better.
It has bugs, glitches and some gameplay issues that should be fixed.
So do not expect the best playable game ever!

GLITCH
The only glitch I found is about the game crashing by itself for apparently no reason, but it could be related to how many times change the screen to save the game. When the game starts to show big red squares, it means the time has come! At that point is not even possible to quit the game normally and, on that segment, it can generate corrupted savefiles.

BUGS
The bugs I found are: your character getting stuck on the wall, a member of your party getting stuck somewhere or chasing enemies that are not even on the screen. One big bug is when facing a major boss, it applies a debuff on you that will kill you instantly. The problem is there is no indication of what's going on.

GAMEPLAY
There are many gameplay issues and maybe that's the big problem of this game.
1) You have no control over your party and they do not make your inventory bigger. They just follow you with no possibility of changing the equipment or interaction if not for dismission. Plus, they tend to deplet your healing potions stocks if you don't be careful. There is a command to make them stop doing that but, come on!
2) Your inventory has limited space and the collectible items are not stackable. This means that if you have 3 identical objects they will occupy 3 different slots. Also there is no automatic inventory reorganization and if the items are positioned in the wrong way, the game will act like you have no space, when it just requires to reorganize it.
3) In critical moments you can't pause the game, so you have to move your cursor fast which implies that if you want to use an aggressive spell, you eventually end up hurting your allies or an npc. Also, when targetting for normal attack, if you accidentally target an allied or npc, the dialogue will start disrupting the moment, this appens when you go for an adaptive cursor in a real time combat.
4) Some mission items do not disappear automatically.
5) After some time, your game will be full of dead bodies. That's right, the game doesn't make them disappear.
6) On each location, there are some spots in wich a single specific enemy respawn. The problem is they can respawn always, you just need to get the point off the screen, without changing area. Also some spawing points are a pain in the ass (like in the entrance of a dungeon).
7) There are 3 difficulty levels but they are not relevant to the gaming experience (only monsters HP change).
8) There are no potions for debuff removing, for example there's an antidote for the poisoned status but it does not remove the status. Anytime you get debuffed you have to wait for the effect to run out of time or to go to a healer and it will make you and your party brand new.
9) Even if you can choose the magic schools and the spells, there are too many and while some of them are just identical others just do not work as they should.

Even though, I really enjoyed the game, I loved the story and I pursued to reach the end of it.

SPOILERS
- Way too much unneeded text. Every NPC has pages of text he tells you which is just pointless and doesn't give you any more information. Just text for text.
- Fights are terrible. Not hard, but just very boring. Most enemies have low damage compared to huge amount of HP.
- Melee is useless. Paladin with melee skill on Master level still can't do anything to anyone. You just stay there and stab enemies until you fall asleep from boringness. And you needs tons of potions. There are four pages in the inventory, at least two of which should be reserved for bottles. And still you need to go back to the town and buy another 100 potions every one or two levels of dungeons.
- Only way to kill enemies anyhow fast are sigils. So there is no real possibility to roleplay. It doesn't matter if you play priest, paladin or noble: you can kill enemies only with spells.
- My first playthrough was as a priest, so I struggled immense at the start, but in the second half of the game you have access to imba spells which kill everybody on the whole screen. That was back in 2012. Now I have tried it as a paladin and start was much easier due to the tankiness and some clues how to play, but later in the game it got only harder.
- There is no fast movement possibility in dungeons. You can freely walk from graveyard to barrens or anywhere else, but if you want to get to the town from the dungeon, you need to do it manually. With slow walking speed and awful path detection it is another challenge to your patience.
- Again, too much useless text. Wanted to play as a paladin to the end, but realized at the start of Act 2 that I don't want to waste my time to click through walls of same answers to same questions from every NPC.
- Ridiculous unlogical scaling of enemy stats. At the start of Act 1 when you are level 1 you need certain amount of effort to kill giant bats at the starting location. At the end of Act 1 when you are already level 20 and equipped with uniques you need the same amount of time if not more to kill same giant bats in the depths of Iron Mines. I am talking about melee combat now. Which is just useless.
- Some locations are full of very strong enemies where I just couldn't find any way how to kill them. But there is a Magical box! You break it and tells the genie you need help against your foes. And the genie rips everything apart. And there is endless supply of these boxes by vendors. Sure they are expensive. But my question is: why is every town suffering and perishing if they can just break ten magical boxes and kill every orc, lizardman and werewolf?! That thing bothers me most than any other problem of this game. Perhaps they did it so because they didn't want to make proper balancing of fight system and enemies. I don't know.

Well, many points, but briefly summarized:
walls of useless text and absolutely unbalanced fight system kills the game.

Despite the fact that I probably won't play it till the end once again, I still like it. It looks very nice, has it's own charm and has many interesting ideas. It is worth to play, at least to try.

Unf I'm dropping it because of the combat, which isn't so much hard as boring, due to the balance between health and damage being a bit outta whack. There are a lot of fighting to do and it's the worst part of the game, by far.
It became such a chore, it made me stop enjoying the game and quit.

I wanted to like this, but it didn't work out.

I can see what they were trying to do. Taking the Diablo isometric action RPG formula and spinning a story on it that has more going on than "HEY THERE'S SOME SPOOKY STUFF IN THAT HOLE THE DEVIL IS INVOLVED, GO GET IN THERE!" and what they were doing with it seemed pretty interesting. Working for the church not only in the sense of being the beatstick to fight freaks in the woods, but also actually working for the Inquisition and investigating people and gathering evidence to the point where you can point to someone and declare them a heretic is actually pretty cool as a concept, and in dialog there's options where you can be a real hardhead about it trying to catch people for stuff that they said without meaning to: "OH SO YOU CONFESS??" I actually really liked the very first chunk of the game after being allowed into the first town. Talking to the villagers, learning about whats going on in town and who's suspicious, who gives bad information, getting some background info about the world the game takes place in, it goes a long way to making the world feel tangible, that there's stuff going on beyond the peninsula where the game takes place.

Sounds good so far, but then the GAME part of the videogame kicks in. Your first taste of combat is "Hey, you gotta kill these big bats around town before we'll let you in." and you're off. Immediately you learn that the name of the game is SLOW. Character movement is SLOW, there's a speed stat that helps you counteract this, but your default starting speeds are "amble" or "SLOW jog". There's stamina, which is used for actions like attacking and casting spells, can't do stuff well, or at all, without it and it recharges SLOWLY only when you are standing still, otherwise it will not recharge at all, even in a conversation. Mana does not recharge automatically overtime, there's a skill for that instead, which uses stamina to pay for more mana, which comes back SLOWLY. You might think "Well, this is only the very VERY beginning, surely things to start to hit their stride after the first town once you level up some and get some starting gear." and the answer for that is no. Be prepared to kill three zombies max and run back to town to recharge your health, stamina, and mana if you don't want to burn through your cash chugging potions.

"Hang on." you think, "How do I know you're not some guy with a broken brain that demands dopamine every ten seconds that needs the jangling keys in front of their face in order to not die of boredom?" I can't give you a window into my brain so you can see exactly what's wrong with me, but I CAN give you an example of something that I actually really enjoyed in that starting town. In the inn, there's an old man who, if what he claims is true, is well over a hundred years old in a setting where it looks like no one lives past fifty, and it's a HARD fifty. You can ask him for his life's story and it's pretty cool. It's a bunch of back to back text dumps where you can go "Please tell me more" or "Okay I'm hitting the eject button on this conversation", and I really liked it. You actually get some fancy boots for it. The story stuff, the Inqusition stuff, being able to go "WE GOT THE EVIDENCE LET'S GET THIS DEVIL WORSHIPING PSYCHO IN A CELL."? Big thumbs up, cool idea I want to mess around with. The Diablo styled combat itself? The actual keyboard/mouse clicking gameplay that would let you get to the point where you could interact with that some more? Nah. I wanted to like it, but I ended up bouncing off it twice with different characters.

End result was I just wasn't having fun and didn't have an expectation of it getting better overtime. Maybe you'd like it, but I can't recommend it.

Surprisingly intriguing game. It might specially appeal to those familiar with the oldschool Diablo games.
It does have one flaw in that the movement is initially very slow and you need to spend Level Up points into Movement just to move faster. And BELIEVE ME, you will want to move faster.
Other than that, though, it's a pretty solid game, mixing the classic Diablo-esque combat with some investigation into trying to find who is the true heretic making pacts with the Devil and who is actually innocent, being framed or just misunderstood. (guess my only second complaint is that, when the heretics are caught, they are... ridiculously over the top at being eEeEvIiIiL) XD

The starter classes are similar to the first game: Paladin is the Fighter, Priest is the Mage and Thief is the Rogue.
By the way, small tip: play the Thief as an archer and a noble. YES! The Thief character in this game is an exiled noble so to speak, and later on as you progress, you can visit a small ruined property which belongs to you and you can recruit a soldier (swordsman or archer) to join your party. It's so cool!
And as you progress in the story as the Thief, you slowly start ranking up on the hierarchy. Count --> Earl --> Duke, etc. And with each rise in rank, you get permission to recruit one more soldier into your party. You essentially have a mini army, if you include the standart NPCs you can invite to your party! (btw, the dog is best boi)

In the year 2012, there emerged a clandestine creation known as Inquisitor, a game shrouded in obscurity, whispered only amongst those registered upon the scrolls of gog.com. It beguiled me with its profound medieval ambiance, an almost historical tapestry woven in the newly forged kingdom of Ultherst. Amidst the medieval tapestry, treacherous souls bartered with Satan, beggars transmuted filth into gold through black magic, and ghastly rituals summoned fallen angels, unleashing Satan from his millennium-long incarceration.

This narrative-driven odyssey beckons one to immerse oneself in its atmospheric embrace, forgoing the crutch of a quest arrow, relying solely on the aid of an auto-map feature. Every quest intertwines seamlessly with the overarching plot, a mosaic that thrusts thee into the shadows of the game's darkened world.

Within Inquisitor's parchment lies a tome of unparalleled length, akin to the Avernum series. Dialogues flow abundantly, necessary to fathom the intricate web of deceit spun by the unfaithful. The brilliance lies in the convolution of quests, demanding thy own deduction to unveil their secrets, often yielding unexpected outcomes. In my pursuit, I tormented Glatzburg's mayor relentlessly, only to discover his innocence, leading to a benevolent forgiveness and a peculiar plea for matrimony.

This fantasy-medieval opus unfolds as a dark detective tale, rich in plot twists, enigmatic characters, and extensive dialogues. Its mastery is akin to the textual opulence found in Planescape: Torment. Longing echoes for a sequel from the adept hands of the Czech studio Cinemax, crafting a worthy successor to the venerable Darklands by Microprose.

Though confined to the kingdom of Ultherst, glimpses into distant lands such as Jad-Habbal and the Thron pagan race, rulers of the underworld eons ago, captivate the curious mind. The political machinations within this realm enrapture, and time surreptitiously slips away as thou delves deeper into its lore. From an alternative perspective, one could easily dub Inquisitor an isometric Dark Souls, where each demise entertains as a lamentable yet amusing chapter in thy saga. Inquisitor is a good RPG that mixed common fantasy elements with Church lore, resulting in an original product among others RPGs, far superior lore construction i must say. You see, all those daedra in Elder Scrolls games are demons trying to ruin common people by spreading evil, confusion and bad jokes that result in disgrace, they are not gods, and the Tribunal clowns of Morrowind also are not gods. That means that on RPGs we got used calling "god" any kind of entity that simply achieved a certain level of power.
Holy scriptures, holy water, "the first prophet", fallen angels, christian references turned out to be perfect, and in a perfect rpg world i should be able to burn at stake each of "molag baal", "Sythis" "sheogorath" or "Mehrunes Dagon" acolyte scum i find. You will do a lot of investigation and burning of heretics that performed dark rituals for the invocation of the Fallen Angels, and you gather evidence to submit them to trial.
Great story and artwork on this game, people that made the soundtrack and scenarios did an amazing job and this game is worth playing because of the immersion it gives you with all the investigation and the plot's development. The amount of detail on the infernal kingdoms and cities, world map, common houses, noble enviroments and churches you will find its astonishing. Old Rpgs are really difficult and inquisitor is even more due to unbalanced combat mechanics.
I recommend that you use cheat console and choose easy mode, if you are in a dungeon, do not bother going all the way back to the city, open the \ and use givenewitem kamenmudrcu to gain magical box and do your shopping, then continue the dungeon.
If the story, lore, music and scenario artwork are amazing, i cannot say the same thing to the combat and gameplay, there are common issues that need to be fixed: characters being stuck on walls, graphics of friends and enemies get too close on combat and you talk to your companion when you just wanted to move your character, or even you accidentally cast spells on them, the durability of weapons is horrible, the leveling system has limits and does not let you be too powerful, and is a fact that rpg players want to be rewarded by being overpower after spending a lot of hours exploring and leveling. They should have removed the level limit.
There are 7 magic books each one with 10 spells, so the magic system is rich and once you get the strongest spells your game experience gets better (only the priest can learn all kinds of spells).
This is not the game you play many times, but you should buy it and play it until the end at least one time in your life just for the experience and to form your own opinion (it is not an expensive game, from time to time it is available for less than $5).
If you don't like reading this game is not for you.

10/10 story and writing
3/10 gameplay mechanics (combat, movement, leveling system etc...)
7/10 bugs, glitches and graphic performance (the game freezed some times and it is normal to glitch if you play more than 2 hours, then you need to exit and run the game again)

Overall, It is worth the squeeze. If they managed to fix the gameplay mechanics issues and develop a continetal world wide plot (like Arcanum) it would be one of the greatest RPG games.
It takes at least 130 hours to beat the game and explore the world map.

This is an incredible game. It has an amazing story with an extremely dense and engaging lore and universe building. There were very few games which have made me so interested in the in game universe and that have given me a profound sensation of what it would be to live in such universe. Страдай и ты, ибо эта игра- боль. Здесь дурная боёвка, кривой интерфейс, скромный, серенький графон. Но страданию дана великая очистительная и воспитательная сила, ибо страдание пробуждает дух человека. В нем закаляется стойкость человека, его мужество, самообладание и сила характера. Без страдания нет ни истинной любви, ни подлинного счастья. Тот, кто хочет научиться свободе, должен преодолеть страдания.
С Божьей помощью и молитвой открылось мне счастье и особая ТЕРАПИЯ сей игры- ГОНЯТЬ ГРЕШНИКОВ! И не просто гонять, а вжиться в роль Инквизитора, пытающего еретиков изощренными средневековыми методами. Хотя, можно добросовестно искать истину, не делая поспешных выводов, и, как детектив, распутывать интриги, собирая свидетельства и подозрения.
Игра не лишена чёрного юмора, затягивает с головой увлекательным повествованием, но утомляет нудными подземельями и бесконечными драками с сундуками и нечистью,-последнее нужно выстрадать.
Здесь не всё полезно, что в инвентарь полезло, он НЕ резиновый,- в этом заключается одна из проблем игры., важно обязательно собирать все "белые"/ квестовые вещи, а ещё (что по-моему дико и странно)- таскать ВСЕ трупы ДО КОНЦА игры, - рано или (((очень поздно))), они вам понадобятся. Не зная такой особенности, можно просрать все полимеры, потеряв важные предметы. Спаси Архангел Гавриил!

P.S: Если бы фем-активистки, игравшие в Inquisitor, разозлились- они бы сожгли на костре разработчиков и всех причастных к игре, ибо она буквально пропитана средневековым духом женоненавистничества, взятым для аутентичности, скорее всего, из печально известного трактата "Молот Ведьм". Да, тут ББПЕ, и девственниц приносят в жертву, женщин жгут на кострах, оные зачастую оказываются злейшими дьяволопоклонницами и вообще падшими персонажами. Даже выбор героя, по понятным причинам, ограничен мужчинами (я выбрала священника).

P.P.S: Музыка божественна, особенно композиции с органом, например Cathedral- пожалуй, один из самых моих любимых треков, -можно слушать даже вне игры.

This game is absolutely fantastic. I can't believe it has had so little attention on YouTube. The storytelling is top notch. If you don't need cutting edge graphics but enjoy a great story, lots of well written dialogue and a dark, adult environment, then this is your game. You may think this is an ARPG but this game actually turns into survival horror if you play as a paladin on hard difficulty.

I will keep it short. While I personally do like the game, I can't honestly recomend it to anyone. It's ARPG but unlike your usual game from this genre, this one plays really slow. It's nothing like Diablo.
Inqusitor lean lot more on story and while decent it becomes predictable after 2nd act.

Gameplay is bad. Enemies have a lot of health even on lower difficulty, melee is weak, shooting is a little better and magic is a mixed bag. Some spells are useless or subpar while a few of them are way above everything else.
Magic can and often does fail. The only things that lowers enemy's chance to resist is you leveling up, putting more point in a school of magic you are using, drinking appropriate potion or casting a spell that affects it. No other skills have effect on this despite what their description may say.

Some skills are pointless to train and some straight up don't work or work only partially.
You don't need any kind of persuade or intimidate skill your class may offer. These skills don't offer anything extra and you don't need them to finish a single quest in the game which is disappointing considering Inqusitor has a lot more dialogue than your usual ARPG.

I finished Inqusitor three times. With all classes, on all difficulties.

Got this game on sale for 3$ and it was worth the price. But the game is balanced horribly for anything that isn't Easy difficulty.

Game consists of potion spam and there are too many times where you can become soft locked. Saving is piss poor- there is only 2 autosaves and 1 quicksave. Meaning you can get soft locked if you quicksave right next to a boss that you can't run away from.

It requires a lot of motivation to drudge through the horrible balance this game possesses. There is a gem to be found here past all the crap though, which is a beautifully dark hellscape of a world that forces you to fight against the dark evil or become one with it. The atmosphere is well made, the creatures, bosses and dialogue are well written and can even freak you out. That's why this game is worth playing imo. But alas;

I say again, horribly balanced. The only viable way to get through parts of the game is potion spam. There is a "Mana regen" skill that is completely useless. I say this because its a complete waste of skill pts that could be invested elsewhere due to the fact that this game is heavy on the potion spam. It is ridiculous; every dungeon you enter will require you to be prepared with stacks of potions, and even then, you might run out half way through and have to run back to town to buy more.

Its very obvious this is inspired by Diablo. But this isn't a good game, even for power gamers, and since its no longer being developed there are issues that remain that become frustratingly annoying and are frequent. Too frequent to actually have a solid playthrough session.

5/10. I won't recommend because this game is unfortunately horribly balanced alongside frequent bugs that stall gameplay. I will not be wasting any more time on this game personally.

do not play on hard mode.

This game is a gem, its story, mechanics et cetra, but dont play on hard mode, don't spread exp points too far and cut corners where you realistically can, usually i advocate for hard mode, for the long way to the end of the road, im in act 2 currently on hard mode as my first play through (its mechanics, style et cetra made me think of arcanum and baldurs gate) and i wouldnt recommend it, sadly however you cannot change this later. So, play on normal, forget what you know about mechanics of the other rpgs that are similar and use the magic grenade boxes wherever you can, Im going to shelve this game for a later date, but for all those new players, stick to normal and you will find a great game. If normal is also unoptimized then i guess aim for easy mode, because regardless of its really bad difficulty settings, this game, and dare i say its combat (which is fine if you dont pump the difficulty up, its akin to acarnum) are great.

Hra je obrovská, což je její plus i mínus. Nabídne vám stovky hodin hraní, ale také hodiny procházení stejných a obrovských podzemních chodeb, kde jen tupě vybíjíte nepřátele. Velmi brzy se tak dostaví pocit nudy, hlavně v podzemí. Inventář zmatečný. Po polovině hry by to klidně mohlo skončit, ale hra pokračuje dál a defacto vás staví před stejnou situaci jako na začátku, podobné místo, podobní lidé, stejné odpovědi a defacto dělá to stejné znovu, jen na jiném místě. Autoři si tímto hodně ulehčují práci a kopírují postavy a rozhovory jen s jiným jménem. Vůbec rozhovory a texty jsou obsáhlé, ale bohužel se dost opakují a při vyšetřování se nejednou stane, že vám deset lidí odpovídá stejnými dlooooouhými texty... po polovině hry máte toho všeho plné zuby a přitom to je skvělá hra nebo by mohla být. Ale určitě lze doporučit rpg maniakům. ;)

Пару слов про техническую сторону:
Если описать одним словом то, [b]омерзительно[/b], игра работает хуже чем Divine Divinity, которая вышла в 2002.
- Невозможно играть на 2к мониторе (подключал FHD монитор ради игры)
- Игра стабильно вылетает раз в час
- Внезапные краши
- В последнем акте отваливаются сохранения.

[b]МИНУСЫ[/b]
- Очень душно и тяжело
- Воды в диалогах больше чем было у меня в дипломе
- Однотипные квесты
- Бесконечные подземелья в которых ничерта не видно, так и еще ты должен искать серые рычаги на сером фоне.
- Ломаешь [u]стоячий[/u] сундук около минуты, за паладина, ну и что что сундук стоит на месте и промазать по нему очень тяжело, ты все равно будешь промахиваться даже на 40-лвл
- Враги спавнятся в зачищенных местах
- Ловушки с замедлением по 2 минуты, ползаешь как придавленный таракан
- Отвратительные города, в игре всего 2 города и 1 деревня, так вот, деревня в 1 акте выглядит лучше чем два "Больших" города, города не интересные, блеклые, расположение NPC и лавок убогое.
- NPC даже не пытаются симулировать жизнь, они просто крутятся на месте.

К концу игры, я возненавидел ее, меня тошнило от многоуровневых подземелий, они везде,эту игру нужно было назвать "Подземелье и Еретики" 60% игры проходит в темных дырках. За 46 часов игра еще не закончилась, впереди остается часов 10 минимум, а я уже без сил и хочу закончить. Если бы они сократили игру вплоть до 30ч, было бы шикарно.

Если бы это была книга а не игра, было бы намного лучше, моя оценка [b]6 из 10[/b].
Если бы я знал как невыносимо мне будет в 3 Акте, я бы ее никогда не купил.

P.S Видел отзыв, что человек потерял тело мертвой девушки и не смог закончить игру, похоже меня ждет тоже самое т.к при мне только последнее тело, а где 2 других только Иисус знает.

Поначалу затянуло, интересный сеттинг, огромные длани диалогов, в теории могла бы выйти неплохая игра, но всё это наотрез перечеркнули несколько факторов.
1)Ужасная графика, которая больше походит не на олдскул, а на дешёвый закос под олдскул).
2)Невероятно ужасно-скучная боёвка которая заточена под райтклик.
3)Очень неудобный интерфейс.
В целом, вся игра является лишь скучнейшей книжонкой, разбавленной неприятным геймплеем.

Despite me I liking the game, mostly because it reminded me of my childhood, from when things were easier and such, I had this one main issue with the game that made me give up on it. Was that, at higher resolutions, the text is unreadable... Yeah, I know I can play in 800x600 but I loved the art way too much when it filed my 21:9 screen to just see huger and huger pillar box as I lowered the resolution... I want to say thank you very much for the devs to support ultrawide in such an old title, which is amazing, if only the texts would not get so small and the came so far out... My eyes are hurting as I write this just after I have uninstalled the game because of that ):
Wish I could zoom in into my character with the mouse wheel and that the hud would not get soo small in a game that is heavy focused around reading as this one.

I have read around the web that they took more than ten years to make this game and 3 years to translate it into English. Such effort must be recognized. Thank you again for your hard work and I am happy to have this amid my collection. It's very sad that the developers are not together anymore.

Den Teufel in die Hölle schicken

Ja, zugegeben, ich bin mit der falschen Erwartungshaltung an das Spiel gegangen. Auf den ersten Blick sieht es wie ein Diablo-Klon aus, spielt sich aber tatsächlich komplett anders. Eher wie ein Baldur's Gate. Von dem Veröffentlichungszeitpunkt in 2012 sollte man sich nicht täuschen lassen, das Spiel erschien 2009 in Tschechien und war wohl 10 Jahre in der Entwicklung. Das erklärt die Grafik und die Animationen - aber immerhin, man kann es ohne Gefummel auf Full-HD einstellen und dann ist auch nichts verzerrt. Also drücken wir bei der Grafik mal ein Auge zu, ich hatte es oben schon erwähnt, nein, es ist kein Diablo-like, dafür ist es auch viel zu träge. Mal läuft relativ langsam durch die Gegend und man muss viel laufen, sehr viel. Es gibt sehr viele Dialoge zu lesen (nur englisch, keine deutsche Übersetzung), die Missionen erfordern es dann auch, mit so ziemlich jedem zu reden, um in Erfahrung zu bringen, wo man als Nächstes hin muss. Immerhin gibt es ein Quest-Log. Die Kämpfe sind auch eher etwas schnarchig. Man klickt auf den Gegner und dann schaut man zu, bis der Gegner oder man selbst auf dem Boden liegt. Zwischendurch kann man sich mit Heiltränken und Ausdauertränken noch auffrischen - aber so richtig machen... macht man halt nichts.
Für meinen Geschmack alles etwas zu zäh und sperrig. Wer wie ich auf der Suche nach einem Diablo-Klon war, sollte sich mal Sacred anschauen, wer Spaß am Lesen hat und ein umfangreiches Rollenspiel sucht, kann sich mal Pathfinder: Kingmaker reinziehen (oder gleich Baldur's Gate). Alles spielen sich irgendwie spannender und dynamischer als dieses Spiel, leider.

好评给美术，过于平庸的战斗体验，和冗长的流程，白瞎了这个场景美术和ui以及插图，游戏本身的文本量不小，游戏原本的文本是捷克语，英文也是社区玩家翻译的，外语水平有限的玩家就不要买了，如果单纯的对美术感兴趣，建议全程配合cheat engine来玩，游戏内最好要用4:3的分辨率，否则有些界面和插图会有拉伸，
三个职业中，圣骑士自带一个装备修理技能，但最开始只能修一些低级装备
游戏中装备的耐久度系统非常差劲，收到多个敌人攻击后装备马上就坏了，只能只吸引单个敌人战斗，并且买足够多的备用装备

Well that was a waste of f*cking time.
My priest started off with one spell that failed every time even though I'd maxed out Intelligence in character creation. He runs so slowly it's painful. He's trying to kill bats with a staff. Oh no he's run out of stamina, let's stand around for 10 minutes waiting for it to recharge.

AHA, I've found a stash in a pile of rocks... why can't I pick up the loot? Oh it turns out the pile of rocks in the first encounter was TRAPPED and I can't pick stuff up because I'm dead and the game hasn't told me that I got hit or that I'm dead. Uninstall

Is a good game, but the age don't forgive it, is extremly outdated, only worth it if bough in some sale, at it's real price, won't be worth it

The game was in development for almost 10 years before its release in 2009. Three more years were needed to translate the game into English.

Когда слышишь, что игру разрабатывали 10 лет сразу понимаешь что-то тут не так. Inquisitor начинается очень бодро прям в стиле классного фильма “Сонная лощина” вы прибываете в небольшую деревеньку и пытаетесь расследовать убийство торговца антиквариатом, попутно решая кучу проблем местных горожан. Но весь фан продлится только до первого подземелья. А дальше начнётся бестолковая рутина, убили пару монстров, полечились, отремонтировали доспехи и опять. Потом появятся соперники с дебафами и добавляется ещё пункт ожидания их окончания. Это настолько сбивает ритм, что люди иногда тратят на прохождение 90 часов. При этом ваша раскачка по сути никакой роли не играет, да и священник с паладином по сути бестолковые классы. А ведб разрабы придумали кучу хороших квестов, разрешили пытать подозреваемых и всё это похоронили самым бестолковым образом. За старание и сеттинг поставлю 7.0, но категорически не рекомендую.
