Honestly, I don't understand all the negative reviews. This was a very nice, enjoyable game. Did it have a few shortcomings (for me, it was walking a few steps and having another encounter. However, escape worked well), yes. But overall, the story was good, the characters were likeable and unique, and the ending was....I won't spoil it. I enjoyed it.
