This game is absolutely fantastic. The amount of detail in the art, and even the white sticky fluid, was spot on. I think the writing of the game is absolute cinema - Shakespeare is not dead. This is a life changing experience, and it helped me become a better man (I started cleaning up after myself). I also managed to score my first coochie.

In my opinion, this game is both better and worse than the original HuniePop game.
In the original HuniePop game, I feel like there was more of a story focus and you had to do more before you could progress, whereas with this, you’re just thrown into it all from the get-go with no build-up.
The gameplay itself is a bit more engaging, but also more difficult. Especially in the beginning before you’ve really gotten it all down and understood the mechanisms.
Overall I think I find the original more fun, both in terms of the way the matching game works, and in terms of the plot. But this game is nice too, and it feels fresher and more modern. I will definitely get back to it one day and try to improve in it.

Yes, yes, "Huniepop 2: Double Date" reminds me fondly so. It reminds me of when I was younger—obviously not too young to tag our little liaison repulsive (Hark! I was a reasonable and well-adjusted [ADULT] at the time)—when there was nothing more to say nor do. Strongly did I adhere to that sentiment as night after night, I circled through my Steam library with chin in hands. Who should be my inamorata for the night, to entertain this tortured soul? [RESPECTABLE GAME NO.1]? [RESPECTABLE GAME NO.2]?
Nay.
I think myself a dog, you know that? Not any ape-ish dog that would lick the floors clean had it smelled a mote of the overhead fortune (leftover paella, cubed potatoes dressed in smoked paprika, many such cases!). Respect escapes me, but even that would be damning. I would be closer to my neighbor's dog from grade school. The poor thing dared not even sniff lest it be placed in her pink bowl accented with a bone decal printed on the front. When I think myself a dog, I think myself that type of dog. Shed the metaphors and "Huniepop 2: Double Date" finds itself the kibble at the bottom of that rose bowl. I had known nothing more, and [at the time] I would have had needed nothing else.
It was fun while it lasted. My company couldn't agree less. Seldom were they enthused to see me use my awesome sentiment-infinite-turns build. Philistines, I tell you.
The stinky [genitalia] passive made me really mad. The strategy is to get BIG PASSION first before BIG MATCHES. Your delicacies' stench matter not. I needed to win the game, and still, you deny me.
The gameplay is fun. While the stamina management introduced is frankly, frustrating, the double date mechanic finds itself reinventing the base gameplay to something clever and fun.
I have no comments on the, hm, "Goons" of this game. When I first played its predecessor and found my [unfortunate] self on NIGHT 5, I was far to engrossed in the pleasurable Candy Crush Fever Mode to notice the accompanying sprite of [UNNAMED FICTITIOUS WOMAN] had found themselves bare. And naked.
The discovery was quickly followed with a frightful scream.
The sentiment never escaped: I close my eyes every time it was time to "goon." It's still scary. It's really scary.
If you're from the 1st game and enjoyed it, I will hardly not recommend getting the second one. Its an entirely different feel. They thought adding more=better game, but in reality its not. They sacrificed the "dating-sim" aspect of this game... you're just now a fking gigolo. Every character became too tryhard to be different without fleshing out who they really are. Threesomes are too forced, its so stupid. I could yap a lot more but now im questioning why am I getting to riled up in a porn game? I guess I just had expectation after having a blast with the first one. Too bad though, even if the art of 1st one is not the cleanliest, its much more with soul and passion compared to this game which is just milking the glory of its predecessor.

Firstly, I want to mention how absolutely hilarious the dialogue is in this game as well as its prequels. The characters are so perfectly embodied, and their interactions sound as though they're actually talking to one another. I've played the other installations in this series and this one is by far my favorite. However, I've spent 192 hours, 8 days of my life trying to complete every last achievement. It is the worst grind I've experienced of any game thus far. I'm convinced I may never 100% this game, but I won't give up just yet. I DO NOT recommend going for every single achievement unless you have literally no life.

Obviously the sexy anime women are always a plus- however, the play and strategy behind making three and more literally gets me sucked in every time I come back to this game. A silly, sexy, and fun time!
While I feel the characters aren't as fun and engaging as the first game (and I don't love the whole 3-way thing, especially when it's between characters where one is being racist to the other 😒), the gameplay is great. It might even be more fun than the first game. There are so many ways to play each date, and so many different strategies.
I have perfected the game because it's so much fun.

Not as good as the first game writing-wise, but the gameplay and music is still fun and the hot girls are still hot. I recommend this one if you mainly just care about the gameplay and boobs, but I didn't find it as funny as the first, or care about the girls as much. The double-date style kinda "ruins" the dating sim aspect, for me at least.
Also: SNOW BUNNY is a term that applies to the WHITE WO/MEN that date black wo/men. It does NOT APPLY to black wo/men who date white wo/men. IT IS THE OTHER WAY AROUND. THAT SHOES GIFT HINT FOR LOLA MAKES NO SENSE. FIX IT. FIX IT. FIX IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love this franchise and this game - literally took the time to 100% all 3 entries of the Huniepop series.
I hope there are more games- it's literally the perfect mash-up of smutty and engaging puzzles. I also love the characters, it's just a lot of fun overall.

Is a really good game, but it has some negative point that I hope they can be looked at soon.
First, the bad quirks that a girl has also affects their companion. I wanna think it is some kind of glitch. In my opinion it makes no sense that if a girl doesn't like plushies you can't give one to their companion either ,also the one who doesn't like them also get mad as if you were giving it to them.
Second, I don't know if it is just me but some quirks say that you can't give them a specific item unless they are exhausted or upset but there is no way to do that since they are completely out of battle.
Other than that I really enjoy the game, I always have fun playing it. <3
I hope they have a chance to fix or change those 2 points in the future if possible.
Alright, so I really enjoyed the first HuniePop game, but this is so much better. The whole idea is that you're still playing the same match-3 game, but now, you've got two girls to split your energy/attention, each with their own preferences and baggage. It took a little getting used to, but this was such a fun challenge with the same ridiculous, over-the-top gooner humour that I love about these games. There are a few characters that aren't present in this game, unfortunately (Aiko, Tiffany, Beli, Nikki, Audrey and Kyanna), but there are a few new characters that kind of make up for it. As usual, the CG art is great, too.
If you enjoyed the first game and are looking for an added challenge, I highly recommend this one. Gooner logic aside, this has quickly become one of my favourite match-3 games to play - in general; with or without the tiddies <3
(Aiko is still best girl, but Jessie is here, so I guess I won't dock points for snubbing my favourite HuniePop girl).

Hunie pop 2 much less so. gameplay on the boring/too hard side. Grindy. many repeat lines. very little interaction between the girls that matched.
I finished the game with chat engine for unlimited stamina.
On the pozitive: cool character designs, kinky lines of dialogue. but is not enough.

If you like mix and matching games with va's (voice actor's), pics where you can see the lines without blur, and fantasies of getting a crank out then sure. However if you aren't a fan of story or matching items to reach the next double date then find something else.

im writing this after 26 hours played, i can totally say that i dont recommend the 2nd game, its such a huge downgrade from the 1st game, you barely get any affection from token matches and the game basically punishes you for doing 4 or more of a kind matches which is disgusting, i dont find the achievements THAT hard but the gameplay itself is the problem its SO hard to get through the dates ive spent hours trying to complete even ONE singular date and i couldnt do it. ive 100%'d the first game all achievements 45 hours,it was so much more enjoyable than this piece of ♥♥♥♥, i bought because i thought it would be better but its extremely worse. I dont mind that the girls have stamina but at least dont use more stamina for 4 and up of a kind matches, its so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. One thing i do like tho is that you get to bang kyu once again at the end of the game which is like the best part, besides that the gameplay and the final battle, especially on hard mode are extremely hard to complete, anyways huniedev, i hope that if you do make another game, dont make it as hard and dumb as this one, have a good gooning sesh everyone!!!!!

В предыдущей части, геймпейно девочки не отличались почти не чем, кроме предпочитаемых токенов. А в этой части им добавили уникальные для каждой дебаффы, которые открывают им слоты для подарков! И для каждой девушки нужен свой подход! Так еще в игре идеальное (для меня) понятие сложности!
На легкой сложности дебаффы просто не работают.
На средней сложности работает один из трех рандомных дебаффов.
А на высокой сложности работают все три дебаффа!
В то время, как в других (даже не три в ряд) играх повышение сложности - это "Ну вот тебе пара тысяч очков поверх для прохождения и пи*дуй бороздуй!", в какой-то порно игре сложность меняется условиями, а не большими циферками на больших сложностях
Да, я согласен с теми, кто говорит, что стамина душит, но придрочившись, становится не так сложно.
Если и будет следующая часть, то хотелось бы тоже самое, но с самостоятельным выбором пар для свиданий и больше артов, а то 24 пары и 31 арт (в общем), маловато для 12 девушек

Currently in the middle of my annual co-op playthrough with my wife. We've never managed to beat the nymphojinn on hard mode but we're going to this time. Good music, fun characters and most importantly, solid puzzle gameplay. Will be first in line if a third game ever comes out.
