A cute otome game about a human girl who suddenly turns into a catgirl. The remastered version of "How To Take Off Your Mask" was remade in Unity, with a graphic overhaul for the UI, interfaces, character animations, CGs, and backgrounds. Linux support has also been added.

Storyline

Lilia is just an ordinary girl who works in a bakery. She spends every day happily with her childhood friend, Ronan. One day Lilia finds her body has shrunk. Moreover, she has grown cat ears and a tail?! She panics, jumps out through her room's window, and runs towards the town. And the first person she bumps into is the city guard, Ronan. One day you discover the other side of your partner you had never known. What is the truth beneath the masks? Each of them has secrets. The mask of "Big Sis" and "Luccretia Girl" she wears. The mask of "Lil Bro" and "City Guard" he wears. Which one of them will be taken off first?

This is a cute game, mildly entertaining and the first game in a series of 3, I believe.
It's not a bad game and I enjoyed the first playthrough. Though the 100% is a bit of a slog after that since it's the same story all over again with very little changes in writing.

The art style is okay, the music is okay, and while the series has an overarching story that is pretty good, the first game is slow in kicking it off.

The characters are quirky and lovable, but young, naive and full of troupes.

Price is a bit steep (14,79 euros as of writing this), however I got it on sale so I feel I got my moneys worth that way, so get it on sale.

The first game in the Eroolia series "How to Take Off Your Mask" is a sweet, romantic comedy about Lilia (name changeable) and her best friend, Ronan.

This is the Remastered version of the original game. Though I can't comment on the improvements since I haven't played the original game, I know that the developer spent 3 years to remaster the three games in the Eroolia series and made substantial improvements to the original game.

This game is simple and lighthearted, but enjoyable, nonetheless. The sprites and CGs are beautifully drawn and captivating. There is also a nice opening theme song sung by Kuyuri (which you can purchase as a DLC on Steam), as well as good background music.

Personally, I like the second and third game in the series - "How to Fool a Liar King" and "How to Sing to Open Your Heart" - better as I feel there is more depth in those stories. But, I would strongly recommend that you play this before the other two games in the series as the worldbuilding starts from the first game. Eroolia is a rich fantasy world and the first game serves as a great introduction into the world of Eroolia.

Gerçekten nereden başlayacağım hakkında hiçbir fikrim yok...
Sanırım oyunu gömmeden önce iyi olan kısımlarından başlayacağım. Müzik, seslendirme, çeşitli sonlar ve karakter gelişimi konusunda iyi iş çıkarmışlar fakat oyunun ele aldığı hikaye aşırı vasat ve kısa süre içinde "Ne oynuyom aga ben şu an???" dedirtiyor. Sadece düzgün bir inceleme yazabilmek ve bi şans verip bütün sonları yapmaya koyuldum ama bu fikirden de kısa sürede vazgeçip buna değmeyeceğine karar verdim. Hikayede yan karakterlerin çizilmemiş olması ve çizimler üzerindeki özensizlik örneğin; bir karakterin fiziksel hasar almasından sonra oluşan izlerini yazı olarak takip edebiliyoruz ama görsel olarak çizmemiş oluyorlar bu sebeple bulunduğumuz evrenin ve zamanın dengesiz hissettirmesine sebep oluyor. Özetle eğer sanat dizaynı, görsel tatmin ve dolu dolu bir hikaye önceliğiniz değilse satın alsanız pişman olmazsınız. Benim için bu oyun bi zaman kaybı oldu.

Pros:
- Become catgirl
- Get cute childhood friend who wears a crop top a̶n̶d̶ ̶h̶a̶s̶ ̶a̶b̶s̶
- give and receive headpats
- voice acting is pretty good
Cons:
- The MC and LI are both kinda airheaded and gullible but thats okay I think they're kinda baby

10/10 would recommend playing again bcs its hella cute (I want a Ronan irl pls)

while is have not played the remaster version much yet, but i have played the original
And i do love all the big and small changes and recommend everyone to buy this one as well.

controls are easy, there is full controller support, mouse and keyboard work too.

not only that, but when i tried the game the first time there was a problem (something called a coil whine) and they fixed it very fast, so a big thank you to the devs.

and a big thumbs up for this game
