[b]Hospital Manager[/b] está mais para um passatempo casual, pois ele segue o formato de muitos jogos mobile, visando cenários simples e objetivos a serem completados num score de até três estrelas. Você inicia com um montante de dinheiro a algum prestígio (grau de satisfação), para atingir a pontuação máxima, é necessário completar as missões com alto prestígio e antes da data marcada, você perderá estrelas se estender o prazo.

Cada cenário é apresentado com uma história, ao longo de 28 fases, das quais as cinco primeiras funcionam como tutorial do jogo, apesar da boa intenção, ele limita muito o jogador, impedindo ele de aumentar o hospital, sendo obrigado a desfazer salas para atender outros casos, o que quebra a dinâmica de um gerenciador neste estilo.

Em termos de jogabilidade, ele se aproxima ao Theme Hospital, mas com interface muito mais simples e carente de diversas opções, nem mesmo a personalização do ambiente é competente, entregando largos espaços vazios e mal distribuídos.

Não somente o cenário, tudo nele é muito brando: profissionais sem especialização, centros clínicos com cara de UBS, pacientes sem carisma, patologias e prognósticos totalmente irreais, nada que prenda, nem mesmo aos jogadores mais casuais, sem conquistas ou mesmo trading cards, mas contém alguns bugs aqui e ali para testar sua paciência.

Played for about an hour and came to the conclusion that it's just not very fun. It's similar to games like Theme Hospital or Two Point Hospital but the gameplay is dumbed down. You go level to level managing a fixed layout with new diseases each time - possession, zombies, etc.

The fixed layout with a limited number of rooms was quite annoying. On the possession level, I had to build an exorcism room to deal with the new disease. The only issue being that all of the room slots were filled and actively being used, so all the possessed patients had to be turned away.

However, the game is so easy that you don't even need to deal with the new disease to pass the level. It's doesn't require much management or optimization, just casually clicking various buttons. Clicking the shop/staff tab buttons will freeze the game for a second each time.

This game is not Theme Hospital.....

The applied veneer of charming, quirky, comedic graphics might give the impression that it ticks all the right boxes to be a spiritual successor or at least a somewhat decent clone.....

What you get is shallow, paper-thin, tutorial-level gameplay mechanics across the board. The levels are basically pre-determined to what you should do, so you only have as much space to build as what the level requires you to beat the level.

So the gameplay consists of placing down one building, waiting for a meter to fill up, placing another building, waiting for another meter to fill up, repeat until all the buildings the game requires you to place fills up all the allocated space for those buildings and then its the end of the level.

Coupled with some technical glitches, launch issues and a number of crashes to desktop, I recommend passing up on this one.

Call me strange but actually I had fun with this game.
Comparing this game with Theme Hospital is out of place IMHO though. The style and graphics resembles each other but while TH is about building successful hospital, this game is about challenges, and it does it good.
For a price of pack of chips during sale I had my fun, and at such price I recommend it.

- Simple, not an intense management game
- There's no complex management system where micromanaging employees is key; no itemized
finances/finance scraping; no player diagnostics system; no complex room creating/moving; no following
patients & viewing their thoughts
- Game-play is easy after learning the overall strategy
- Took one, maybe two tries for one star levels. Sometimes took only one time for two or three stars.

Recommend? Sure. This is for those who want a simple, not too complex challenge (oxymoron, yes). Strategy is easily figured out within the first few levels.

Just a note: Once laboratory is placed, can't replace it with another room. Even when research is fully complete, there's no way of replacing it with another room. This game crashed one time; still don't know why it crashed, but at least it saved.

It would be acceptable as cheap mobile game, exept it crashes to the desktop all the time.
Only good thing is that other reviewers pointed out theme hospital and two point hospital and they look promising.

As for this one: avoid.

It's a good game. Worth buying on sale.
I use to play the original theme hospital on PS1 and this is not as deep.
It's more like a puzzle game version of it.
Most negative reviews are from people who want another theme hospital.
Other games like that already exist.

If you just play this game for what it is instead of looking for an updated nostalgia it will be fun.
It's feels a lot like theme hospital combined with plants v.s. zombie feel.
The price is not bad even when not on sale.

An sich ist das Spiel gar nicht so schlecht, macht aber einiges falsch, sodass ich das Spiel nicht positiv bewerten kann. Was vor allem stört, ist die Tatsache, dass ich mein Krankenhaus nicht gestalten kann wie ich will und auch nicht ausbauen kann um mehr Patienten zur gleichen Zeit versorgen zu können. In jeder Mission muss ich mit einer vorgegebenen Anzahl an Räumen auskommen, das nimmt viel Spielspaß raus nach meiner Meinung. So muss man zwischen den verschiedenen Räumen abwägen und manchmal einen Raum durch einen anderen ersetzen.

Da spiele ich lieber spiele bei denen ich vollkommen die Freiheit habe zu entscheiden wie viele Räume ich bauen will. Das Spiel macht einen Mobile-Game Eindruck, also als wäre es primär damals als App für Handy's erschienen und hätte dann eine Portierung auf den PC erhalten. Für eine Simulation eindeutig zu wenig Potenzial welches man ausschöpfen kann und daher eher für ein Spielchen für zwischendurch geeignet.

A pale imitation of a cult classic for mobile devices, Hospital Manager borrows the colourful isometric aesthetic from Theme Hospital and that's about it. There's no actual challenge, none of that Bullfrog-style humour, and barely any gameplay to speak of, which leaves the game feeling bland and empty.

Buy Two Point Hospital on Steam or get Theme Hospital from GOG if you play on a potato. Don't waste your time with this.

I got this in a bundle a while ago, and finally got around to installing it.

It is an obvious mobile port, with pre-determined room layouts and cartoony drag-and-drop assets.

Gameplay wise, I found many aspects challenging in a bad way. The pacing is too fast (both in terms of new patient arrivals and scenario length), the advisor pop-ups are too frequent, the initial staff stats are based entirely on luck, and a large majority of the décor, research, and room options are unnecessary traps to waste your hospital funds.

It’s really not robust enough to be a true sim game, and while I at first thought maybe it was going to be more of a puzzle game, about halfway through I realized I could just use a single strategy on every level to guarantee 3 stars.

The humor also falls flat, feeling insensitive and dated. If this were made in the 90’s, it might be forgivable (or relevant), but it was released in 2014.

While I did get many hours of gameplay out of it, I’m not sure it was a worthwhile use of my time, especially when there are far, far better hospital and management sims on the market. And it is for sure not worth the full $5 asking price.

Asumí que se traba de manejar tu propio hospital, pero nada mas lejos de la realidad que eso. Es un juego de gestión de tiempo, donde en cada nivel se te pide cierta cantidad de reputación. Reputación que conseguirás haciendo mejoras para que los pacientes no se vayan enojados. Todas las mejoras que apliques, las perderás en el siguiente nivel. Si pudiese devolver el tiempo, en definitiva no lo compraría.

Копипаст Theme Hospital 97 года от ЕА и bullfrog, только все сделано хуже на порядок, да еще и дико короткая. Такое чувство, что разрабы за это время стали считать игроков тупее таракана и практически не дают думать.
Игра сойдет детишкам лет 7-10, остальным лучше воспользоваться виртуалкой и играть в старый theme hospital.

Très bonne surprise.

Pour le prix, 90cents, le jeu est agréable, intuitif et drôle.

Sa durée de vie dépendra du temps que vous passerez à faire les différentes missions et éventuellement à les refaire pour obtenir le maximum d'étoiles.

Le jeu n'a pas une durée de fou, vu qu'il n'y pas (pas encore ?) de mode où l'on créé son véritable hôpital, cependant, il y a largement de quoi passer le temps.

Quelques paramétrages sympas sont possibles, comme le fait de désactiver le son qui souvent dans ces jeux est assez pénible après 5 minutes. J'ai conservé les bruitages car les maladies farfelues sont assez drôles.

A voir comme un petit jeu sympa, et je ne dirais pas non à de futurs ajouts pour des missions en plus voire quelque chose de plus long.

This game was obviously cut from the same cloth as Bullfrog's Theme Hospital. And Hospital Manager nails the game-play almost as if it was it's own.

That being said, the game fails miserably when it comes to humor, creative writing and social commentary which it is trying to give.

It's not just that Hospital Manager fails to deliver good humor. Its writing misses the target so badly that most in-game jokes could be seen as offensive, insensitive or careless. Which doesn't sit well, especially when talking about disease, medical insurance and pharmaceutical industry.

I am in no way a moral purist and political correctness makes me want to puke. But this game went in the wrong direction. To a point where its own sloppy and immature writing takes away from the overall game mechanics and turns you off of what could've otherwise been a fun title.

This game is the blandest of blands. Good luck optimising anything in this.

You have a limited amount of rooms you can build and per level you cannot expand your hospital. You HEAVILY rely on being able to upgrade your ONE diagnostics room, or any room for that manner, to be able to efficiently run this hospital. "Your patients are complaining there aren't enough restrooms." Cool. Can't build more and it's already max upgraded, what do you want me to do?

Go to Two Point Hospital or Theme Hospital. At least those two offer more freedom for a fine price. 5.49CAD for this garbage game that feels like a mobile port you play because you just NEED to pass time. I really cannot recommend it. Not even an hour in and I'm already agitated by how much the game limits you in what you can do.

You start a level, there's "pre-made" rooms. You just need to assign what you want to them. No expanding. No building multiple rooms of the same kind. No making hospital bigger to fit patient needs. This game gets a big no from me.

I got this game on sale and I am happy I did. First - I was intimidated by how fast everything moved, it almost caused anxiety. Second - You never go past 4 months, I never reached 100% cure on any illness, nor did I get to use half of the items in the store to upgrade. IF there was a sandbox play that would have almost made up for this flop of a game. It has potential and could be a great game for age groups around 12. It was fun in a basic aspect but I beat it within a few days. Like I said before, glad I got it on super sale.
I would not recommend if your looking for a slow paced management game.

But don't let the steam page fool you.
This game is just a weird mobile port.
You have to follow specific objectives.
This is definitely not a sandbox game.

I liked the game basically. But there are only predetermained games no build your own way games with challenges randomly coming up. Basically 10 levels once the goals of each level are met you're moving to next one. If you want a few hours past time only then this game is perfect. But revisiting the game after completing the levels is basically just repeating your past experience.

Ужасное исполнение попытки повторить и преобразить нам привычный симулятор доктора.
Ужас. Нет никакой возможности творчески изобразить вашу идею. если строим кабинет, то он автоматически расставляет мебель только в одном положении.
Бесят эти лишние звуки кассовых аппаратов после успешного лечения пациетов. Этих звуков так много, что голова начинает болеть. Графика вроде и прятная, но после 30 минут так же начинает болеть голова от этик псевдо-токсичных цветов.
Парадокс, но после этой игры вам самому понадобится почещение госпиталя.
Игра проходит как рутина. единственно, что от вас требуется эта кликать мышью и строить кабинеты - всё!

Die Steuerung mit der Maus ist schier unmöglich, der Zeiger hüpft selbst bei extrem langsamen Mausbewegungen unkontrolliert über den Bildschirm. Es gibt keine Möglichkeit etwas über die Optionen zu ändern.

Etwas genau zu platzieren dauert unendlich lange, wenn man überhaupt die Geduld aufbringt es zu versuchen. Selbst für recht wenig Geld ist es eine absolute Fehlinvestition, da der Spielspaß bereits verfliegt wenn man im Tutorial den Button zum Starten zu drücken versucht und der Mauszeiger überall hinfliegt eben nur nicht dorthin, wohin man ihn bewegt.

It appeared to be like a cool concept, but when I attempted to play it the game ran very buggy after downloading. Good thing I got it on sale! :P The bugginess was the mouse and game didn't like each other and it was a struggle to get through even the tutorial. :( Really wanted to like it.

There's serious issue with the arrow, my arrow keeps wandering around and I cannot click the buttons I want to click, I tried to swtich to the touch screen mode yet it didn't support, basically making this game impossible play.

Dette spil er ikke værd at bruge penge på. Der er en fejl som gør at den sætter skærm indstillingerne forkert og på den måde kan du ikke selv sætte dem om, da du ikke kan se knappen "options" nogen steder.

TLDR: Fresh coat of paint on old Theme hospital concept peels off to reveal shallow depth, cryptic cause for patient unrest and frantic fast paced clicking action. Repetitive. Engine can get buggy.

The game will not every work correctly in fullscreen mode, once windowed you can go through a series of pre-made scenarios with no ability to play sandbox. The game engine, tone and general mechanics are all straight imports from Theme hospital but they somehow feel much more limited. You cannot, for example, click on a patient to have an indepth breakdown of their situation, thoughts and feelings. There are arbitrary time limits in by which you must have achieved a certain score by or repeat the level. This adds to the already overhwelming repetitive nature of the game and quickly wears out its welcome

Conclusion: Would rather wait for a Planet Coaster/Jurassic Park type remake from Frontier or go back to Theme hospital. This mobile feeling game with somewhat clunky user interface is not worth holding on to.

簡単なゲーム内容＋文章は少なめで言語障壁は低め。

・雑なスマホ版移植
・ESCキーでいきなりゲーム終了。進行状況も即消滅。
・効果音が酷い。効果音の音量がバラバラ。　
・音楽が10秒ループで短すぎる。曲も酷い。
・バグって終了不能になる
・バグって操作不能になる
・ヘルプが早すぎて読めない、邪魔、出過ぎ、的外れ
・シンプルゲーなのにカクカク動く
・ゲ－ムバランスが雑
・シュールギャグ連発で、ギャグセンスが厳しい
・AIの挙動が理不尽

欠点を挙げれば山ほどあると思うけど
なんだかんだ遊べる方と思う。

「ゲンナリするわコレ・・でも、もう1ステージやるか」
という感じで、面白いけどストレスもあると感じた。

There's a bug where you can't use the mouse in full screen mode. But, if you play in windowed it works fine. I enjoyed the game and found certain levels to be challenging.

Ein schönes Game für zwischendurch.

Man kann immer mal wieder kurz reinschauen und muss nicht unbedingt lang Zeit davor sitzen.
Die Tutorials sind gut erklärt und der Rest des Games erklärt sich von selbst.

Hospital Manager stellt verschiedene Sprachen zur verfügung, darunter auch Deutsch, ansonsten gibt es nicht wirklich viele Möglichkeiten zum Einstellen, was aber auch nicht nötig ist.

Für mich als alten Mann, ein gelungenes Spiel

Ammetto di averlo comprato per nostalgia di Theme Hospital edito dalla Bullfrog nel 1997. Hospital Manager è la copia sputata del gioco ma pecca di alcune cose.
Chi avrà giocato ad entrambi i giochi scoprirà che la versione "old" è molto meglio. Molto più simpatica, giocabilità migliore ma soprattutto costruivi tu l'ospedale a tuo piacimento.
Qua invece le stanze sono già segnate e non puoi nè personalizzarle nè arredarle. Diciamo che c'è poco da giocare.

Di solito quando si fa un gioco nuovo, sulla scia di un vecchio capolavoro, si dovrebbe migliorare sempre di più... qua sono stati fatti passi indietro.
Nonostante tutto non sconsiglio a nessuno questo titolo perché per le nuove generazioni, che non potranno paragonare i due giochi, resta comunque uno dei pochissimi giochi di simulazione e gestione di un ospedale per gli amanti del genere.
