Дешевая копия animal crossing. Все ощущается пустым и недоделанным, диалоги какие-то топорные и искусственные. Еще разработчики решили изобрести колесо и почему-то придумали собственную систему управления, играть с которой ощущается просто пыточно. Не советую.

Animal Crossing für Leute, die eigentlich lieber im Baumarkt arbeiten
Wertung: 6.5/10 (Süß, aber ein bisschen „Abklatsch-Beigeschmack“)

Sagen wir es, wie es ist: Wer Hokko Life startet, kriegt erst mal ein heftiges Déjà-vu. Du kommst mit dem Zug in einem Dorf voller Tiere an, sollst alles aufbauen und die Bewohner zwingen, dich zu mögen. Ja, es ist ein dreister Abklatsch von Nintendos Goldesel, aber – und das ist das große Aber – es hat ein paar Tricks im Ärmel, die das Original alt aussehen lassen.

Was es besser macht als das Vorbild (Der „Handwerker-Bonus“):
Der Design-Editor des Wahnsinns: Hier zieht Hokko Life an Animal Crossing vorbei wie ein Ferrari an einem Bobby-Car. Du kannst Möbel nicht nur umfärben, sondern komplett selbst bauen. Jedes Brett, jedes Kissen, jede Lampe kannst du frei platzieren, drehen und skalieren. Wenn dein innerer Designer raus will, ist das hier dein Spielplatz.

Platzieren ohne Grenzen: Du kannst Möbel und Deko-Objekte endlich so hinstellen, wie du willst, und bist nicht an dieses nervige Gitternetz gebunden. Endlich stehen die Stühle mal schräg am Tisch, ohne dass man einen Nervenzusammenbruch kriegt.

PC-Power: Da es auf dem PC läuft, musst (oder darfst) du nicht auf einer Switch rumkrebsen, die bei drei platzierten Bäumen schon anfängt zu rauchen.

Warum es trotzdem nur ein „kleiner Bruder“ bleibt:
Der Charme-Faktor: Die Tiere in Animal Crossing haben Charakter (meistens zumindest). In Hokko Life wirken die Bewohner manchmal ein bisschen wie seelenlose Statisten, die nur darauf warten, dass du ihnen ein neues Regal baust. Es fehlt dieser letzte Funke „Magie“.

Das Spielgefühl (Der Rohbau-Vibe): Alles wirkt ein bisschen hakeliger. Die Steuerung ist nicht so geschmeidig, und manche Animationen sind so hölzern, dass man sie fast als Brennholz für den Kamin benutzen möchte.

Wenig Neues: Abgesehen vom Bau-System bietet das Spiel kaum eigene Ideen. Angeln, Käfer fangen, Gärtnern – wir haben das alles schon tausendmal gesehen. Es ist solide, aber eben nicht innovativ.

Fazit:
Hokko Life ist der perfekte Ersatz für alle, die keine Switch besitzen oder denen die Gestaltungsmöglichkeiten in Animal Crossing zu kinderleicht waren. Es ist süß, es ist entspannend und es lässt dich kreativ völlig ausrasten. Es ist ein „Abklatsch“, ja, aber einer mit Herz und einer verdammt guten Werkzeugkiste.

Kaufempfehlung: Wenn du gerne stundenlang an der perfekten Kurve deines Couchtischs feilst und über den leichten Mangel an Seele hinwegsehen kannst: Zuschlagen!

I've tried a lot to really enjoy this game but I just can't... There just feels like it's missing so much. The gameplay is so slow and unrewarding and there's no sense of direction. The game's way too zoomed in but that just shows how small the game world actually is, and how little there is to do. The farming portion of the game is obnoxious, being able to water 1 plant at a time and only 6 plants before you have to refill your watering can.

I don't know, maybe I'm just not getting it, but I can't see how this hasn't been polished and added to over the years its been out, it definitely isn't finished

I have such complicated feelings for this one. It's not a bad game, but it's has some hiccups that sort of prevent it from really standing out.

Pros:
- An entire furniture crafting system, w/ a large variety of options! Super cool idea overall and it goes a long way to giving you a reason to keep playing if you love making the village look nice.
- Plenty of 'farm sim' activities - mining, fishing, bug catching, farming, crafting, 'quests'.
- It actually tried something different and in some cases succeeded, and there are people creating cool furniture for the online sharing portion.

Cons
- You have to wait for specific villagers to show up at random to unlock farming, fabric creation, clothing store, and island exploration. It doesn't tell you that there are special villagers, or what requirements they have. I had no idea until a rabbit told me it would set up a place for me to design fabrics, I then looked it up
- Some activities feel inconsistent.
- The crafting system is so finicky and I personally found it kind of a pain to use, but there are so many cool player downloads that I might just kind of suck at it
- Resources are slow to return until you do specific things to unlock a faster rate, it's not the worst idea...but it does mean you'll have days where you'll do bare minimum and then sleep just to speed it up

Ладно, игра в раннем доступе, но это не обьясняет того, что нету адекватного редактора персонажа, нету пола, нету корректировка лица, одежды. Просто ни чем себя не выделяющая гриндилка. I really wanted to like this game, but it is so grind-centric that even a SPORE-like asset creator cannot save it. Perks are unlocked through repeating the same task like XP was gained in old generation RPGs, while the resource counts required to craft the custom assets seems to be calculated from an equation more greedy for resources than the US economy, meaning you need to harvest what would be several metric tonnes of cotton to craft one pillow. And after you unlock the perks, all activities left to do are customising the town and getting more residents in, which requires such an absurd amount of resources you'd never see it happen if you chose to gather them. Uninstalling was way faster.

Básicamente, esto es lo más parecido a Animal Crossing que se puede encontrar en Steam (o al menos lo que yo he podido encontrar).

Al principio resulta adictivo mientras vas consiguiendo los logros donde te vas acostumbrando a la mecánica y descubres artículos y lugares nuevos. Además, la creación y personalización de objetos es su propuesta diferencial en comparación con AC y juegos similares. Sin embargo, el juego se vuelve un poco aburrido con el paso del tiempo porque no hay tanta variedad de eventos, ya que estos giran en torno a los torneos de pesca y las cazas de bichos (conocidas como estudios entomológicos).

Recomiendo comprarlo en oferta, a pesar de sus defectos. Por unos 4 euros, puedes sacarles unas cuantas horas de juego sin problema y funciona muy bien en Linux usando Proton Experimental.

This game was everything I wanted from Animal Crossing [i]and more[/i]. There were a couple hiccips here and there and the only negative I have isn't really a negative against the game, more of just personal preference since I prefer simpler crafting mechanics.

Time skipping is readily available within the game so you have the option to play as fast or as slow as you want to. I have more control over my item placements and I can pick and choose which villagers I want on my island as I please. Once the initial quests are done I can downsize who's actively living on the island and where without the game forcing me to have a set amount. Once they're unlocked they go into a pool you can select from when you're moving someone in.

The overall game is a bit slow to start out (but this isn't something unique to Hokko Life, it's present in every cozy based farming sim) because you don't have access to a lot of the major equipment right away. It gets better once you unlock things.

I highly recommend picking this up and giving it a playthrough if you're a fan of farming/virtual life games.

Hokko Life é aquele tipo de jogo que não grita ele cochicha. Um simulador calmo, artesanal, feito pra quem gosta de criar no próprio ritmo, sem relógio no pescoço. O sistema de construção é o grande charme: dá pra desenhar móveis do zero, errar, refazer, acertar e sentir que aquilo ali é seu. A vibe lembra os clássicos do gênero, mas com identidade própria, mais simples e mais intimista.

Não é um jogo perfeito: a progressão é lenta, falta um pouco mais de polimento em alguns sistemas e quem espera ação constante pode achar monótono. Mas se a ideia é relaxar, decorar a vila, conversar com NPCs simpáticos e passar o tempo criando coisas sem pressão, Hokko Life entrega exatamente o que promete. É um jogo honesto, confortável, quase terapêutico ideal pra desligar do mundo por algumas horas e só… existir.

This game is full of wasted potential. Furniture customisation is fantastic and in-depth - but that won't save the game from its mediocre gameplay loop.

I usually enjoy grinding in farming/cosy games, but Hokko Life felt unrewarding and souless. Everything was a chore. Animations are also slow which doesn't help when doing repetitive actions like watering crops.

"We have Animal Crossing at home"

A lazy attempt at the Animal Crossing genre of games out there. It feels like I'm playing a 3DS game. The visuals are so-so, the start of the game feels so incredibly slow-paced I can't be bothered to continue. The gameplay feels just a little bit off and slow.

Ich empfehle dieses gewaltfreie, friedliche Spiel besonders für jüngere Spieler:innen durchaus weiter, auch wenn es nicht perfekt ist!
An der einen oder anderen Stelle hat es schon mal ein kleines bißchen nervige Wiederholungen.
Die Möglichkeit, selber Möbel, Deko etc. zu entwerfen und zu bauen finde ich eine sehr schöne Idee.
Leider gibt es dabei keine Größen-Information beim Entwerfen, was teilweise frustriert, wenn am Ende das Entworfene zu klein oder zu groß geworden ist.
Da die Ansicht auf das Spiel nicht gedreht werden kann, ist es teilweise nicht möglich, hintereinanderliegende Gegenstände zu platzieren oder auszuwählen.
Aber trotz allem finde ich das Spiel im Großen und Ganzen gut.
Es gibt immer etwas zu tun und den NPC-Dorfbewohnern kann man immer wieder bei diversen Dingen helfen.

最初に駅からやって来たり、動物の住人たちと触れ合って行く人間型主人公といい、おそらく「あの任天堂ゲーム」を志向した感じのクローン系ゲームだと思います。

ニンテンドーのハードを揃えるのが面倒くさい人や持っていない人には代替品としてちょうどよいと思います。

とりあえずの第一印象が「これどう◯つの森だ」でした。特定の有名ゲームが出てもそういったゲームは特定ハードに囲い込まれていることが多いので、もし「Steamでもどう◯つの森がやりたい」と思っているならこの作品がちょうど良いかと思います。

村からスタートして家を作り変えたり橋を自由にセットできる、他人の家のカスタマイズまで自由にできるというのは良かったです。自分の望んだレイアウトの街に変えられるMinecraftのような自由性は自分にとって非常に合うものでした。

動作要件も比較的軽く、推奨設定でもメモリが「4GB」、グラボが「GeForce GTX 660」級と高レベルのグラボを必要としない環境で済みます。ストレージも10GB行きません。

[h3]【悪い点】[/h3]

最初に慣れていくまでの一本道感がすごいです。徐々にやれる事が増えていくのは楽しいですが、そこに入るまでの間がけっこう長く、Skyrimなどのオープンワールドに慣れているせいか序盤からの自由性がないのはきつかったです（アイテム配置してて偶然から本来の手順飛ばして先のエリアにいけちゃう役得はありましたが）。

キャラクターの顔造形が少なすぎるのが問題です。最初の店でいつでも自由にキャラ名変えられるのは助かりますが、もっとヘアスタイル増やしたり目の種類増やしてほしかったです。

Honestly, this game is a mixed bag, leaning more on the positive side. It's very cozy, fun, and keeps you busy but not in a pressuring way, and tbh, I enjoy some parts over animal crossing! However, there is only one BIG issue with the game. THE GRAPHICS. They are absolutely terriblie in my opinion, and this is the only negative I can think of. If you don't care about the townfolks being a little creepy, some textures glitching and a few stiff animations here and there, this might be the best town/life sim there is on PC.

TL;DR: the game is VERY fun, but it's ugly in my opinion and it's the only drawback I have.

It's a cute game with a lot of things to do and even some interesting systems for the cozy genre, so I can't really give it a negative review. But...

The gameplay is really slow and weirdly streamlined. You learn to make a whole bridge before making a chair, learn how to fish or anything else and it lacks the quality of life features like quickslots for shovels, fishing rods, etc. Everything gets so slowly unlocked, through the main "story" (mostly boring dialogue, not even wholesome, just bland) and requires a lot of gathering and sleeping to replenish resources.

The furniture creating is the main highlight of the game, but it's another time dump in itself to figure out and customize. You can also buy the blueprints from other players, but I can say you'll find exactly what you're looking for, better to take some days off from work and make 'em yourself.

Overall, it's a really nice cozy game for kids, but it's gonna require some patience and good will to overlook it's technical flaws.

O jogo é muito legalzinho, a passagem do tempo é mais do que suficiente para fazer as tarefas, coletar recursos não é difícil. Porém, parece que depois de um tempo você fica limitado no que fazer, pois vai desbloqueando as coisas mas não tem tantos desafios e nem missões. Também não tem a interação com os npcs, você fala com eles mas não evolui a nada. O jogo é interessante para a construção, mas ainda sim parece limitado, principalmente pela questão de ter que ter o código dos jogadores para acessar as lojas.
Gosto de jogar para passar o tempo.

I'm recommending it with a caveat. This game froze my Steam Deck a lot after a few hours of progression. If you don't have to force-shut down your Deck, you'll probably end up force-exiting the game, losing progression. But here's what I thought of it otherwise:

+ It's cute. Most of the villagers are decent and the art style is easy on the eyes
+ Lots of customization
+ You can create your own designs or download other users' for free
+ Everything is pretty straightforward and there's helpful tutorials
+ Progression saves when entering an area, which helps when it freezes
+ There's a lot to do in terms of activities (fishing, farming, archeology, creation/customization, etc.)
+ You can earn "merits" which gives helpful permanent boosts or new items

- Game runs smooth until you progress about halfway, then starts freezing a lot
- The creation station is a slog, with the pointer moving so slow it discourages using the mechanic
- It's almost empty. There's things you can do but there's no real quests or reason to do any of it outside of the occasional villager request or tournament

Freezing aside, it's a solid 6/10. I don't have the patience for cozy games but it seems like it's a decent play for those who do. It might be better on PC, tho it runs ok for the most part on the Deck.

I like farming games. I really do.
I am used to farming games, that make the MC do all the work. Of rebuilding a town. Getting people back. Yk, the usual farming game story.
That being said, one would think Hokko Life works. It has all the checkmarks on the boxes.
It just didn't. And that's not for some ridiculous story reason - grandpa inherited us a farm, bla bla - no, we ACCIDENTLY stumble accros this run down town. Falling asleep on the train. Getting out at the station. Never meaning to actually come here - no idea where we were actually going to though. And yes, we get shelter.
And then it starts. Weird NPC - why are all NPC animal but the MC is not? Is this some psycho trip? Or even a worse kinda trip? - laughing so hard, that I insta hate them. And to top it off: Hey, you could restore a house and live here. And you could also... yk, build this crap and that crap and make the town pretty again, bc that's how things work when you just stumble into a town. I don't expect NPC to ever help, but... "oh no, I can't clear the farm it's too much work" and not even a day has passed and I cleared it.
"We are so grateful, that you stumbled into out little town - now work your ass of and bring more ppl here!"

Writing this... I think I just hate the story. And oh, the stupid spawning of things. Well. Fish to be precise.
It could have been cute. It could have been nice. But it didn't work out for me.

It's mediocre. Nothing amazing. Quite slow and boring as well! If you're looking for this kind of game I'd recommend playing Animal Crossing instead. This is basically just a rip off of Animal Crossing. The art-style (excluding the character designs, not really to my liking) is quite cute and vibrant! It feels full of life and very cartoony at the same time. In summary, it's a rip off of Animal Crossing.

I wanted to like it, I truly did. This isn't the cozy, Animal Crossing like I was promised. I didn't expect it to be on par with one of Nintendo's best franchises but it just fails to deliver on everything. None of the animals are interesting to talk to beyond 3 sentences, there's little to do after the early game besides grind, the exploration is minimal. The ONLY okay thing is the customization mechanics but they are buggy to work with and the placement boxes are wonky. It's a pretty game, that's it.

It would be okay if it was early access but the devs say THIS is the complete game? Seriously? I'd be embarrassed if my creative project came out like this and the devs should be too. It's clear it's made to suck you in for 2 hours so you cannot refund it.

Trust me, I tried to love it after a certain YT video sung its praises. I tried to tell myself it would get better or I'm placing too high of expectations on it but it's clear after I bought it from early access years ago this opinion won't change. Please do not buy this, there are so many better cozy games out there from other indie devs. Try Spiritfarer or Stardew Valley instead.

Jeu super intéressant, très casual friendly, le coté personalisation apporte vraiment quelque chose d'intéressant. Excellente alternative à Animal Crossing selon moi, il surpasse même ce dernier.

Après ça reste un jeu du même genre et ça tourne facilement en rond, mais ça vaut l'essai quand on sait a quoi s'attendre

It's a nice little relaxing game. If you like building furniture and such this is the farming game for you. It's the only aspect I don't like but it doesn't heavily require you to do it to enjoy the game. Farming does get easier once you unlock some merits so that made me happy. Overall not a bad game.

我自己碰到卡住了，看也有人碰到，分享一下原因。
需要修理的是莎莉给你的那个那个椅子，钢的，缺了个腿。把那个椅子带在背包里，再带上造好的钢才能触发任务对话，不然就只有购买配方的对话。

其他人入住是需要中午或傍晚去旅馆和客人对话，邀请他入住。在建好的空房间右边的牌子可以分配已经接受邀请的动物，必须分配，不分配就只是空房间。

旅店对话很重要，除了邀请入住，还有好几个npc也是在旅店碰到对话的。例如钓鱼老，房地产老板，托尼老师，岛屿探险家。

我感觉种地的部分还是挺枯燥的，每天需要浇水，每次只能浇1*1的地块，一壶只能浇6次。如果你就种个6*6，需要盛水，每个浇一下*6，再盛水，重复6趟。
特别需要注意的是，农作物有季节，季节不对了，是会死的。如果种的时候季节不对，播种时正常，但第二天就没了。

I know this game has been getting bad reviews lately, and the critics say that it's like Animal Crossing without the fun parts, that it's boring or slow, but that seems unfair. I mean, we're all here for one thing, right, and that's to relax. This game is suited for those who enjoy a relaxing grind, like Animal Crossing, like Story of Seasons. It may be a little slow sometimes, but that doesn't make it a bad game.

And it breaks my heart to see this game getting bad reviews. I enjoyed my time with Hokko Life. It gave me a light when I didn't have a Switch and couldn't play Animal Crossing. In a way, this game saved my life. No meme intended. I really had fun with it, so... give it try, for yourself. If you don't like it, then before the two hour mark is up, you can get a refund.

I liken it to a slow burning candle. Yeah, it may burn slow, but it lasts twice as long. It has a lot to offer, for those who want to bask in its relaxing village vibes. That's just my two cents.

I love this game so much that I've bought it twice! I originally got it for the Switch, and then I bought it again on Steam for more storage to build bigger things.

The really standout part of Hokko Life is the crafting system. I would absolutely buy a program that's just the crafting by itself if it was offered, it's that good! You can combine shapes and materials into literally anything you can conceive of, and the controls (at least with a controller) are really versatile and intuitive once you get used to them.

The story part of the game is fun and cute, but kind of limited compared to other titles in the genre- if you're looking for another Stardew Valley, this isn't going to be a good fit. If, however, you're more of a Minecrafter or if you've used Blender before, I highly recommend giving this a try!

Developer asked us to put in our input so here is my honest take.

As a 100% completetionist, I strive to get everything done, which is incredibly difficult for this game. The end game farming is introduced EXTREMELY late and there is no benefit to farming other than achievements, and food requests and food requests take forever to spawn in, making it even more grindy. Overall, the beginning was very slow but I found the constant need to want to play more and get everything done. I think this game is something I would not recommend for a PC user, but as a steam deck player, I enjoyed watching a movie and playing this.

The beginning can definitely be slow and hard to get into, but it can get a little monotonous and fun if you're someone like me that likes to turn on a movie and play a game at the same time.

Positives:
Good to pair with a second activity like a movie
Fun on Steam deck
Insane customization in terms of building objects.
Very plausible 100%
Mayor Merits make the game more fun

Negatives:
Very limited customization in terms of what the games gives you - only a few furniture items, floors, etc. - its all very random
End game content is extremely grindy, and the Island activities hunting for artifacts it near soul-level difficulty to get an object, and some aren't even guarenteed. I played 10 hours straight and couldn't get this one artifact I wanted, and I do NOT consider myself a Bad player.

It's a gender-neutral content creation game...First thing you'll notice when creating a character, there's hairstyles and colors for what are traditionally considered "Boy" and "Girl" Styles, no matter which you pick your character is referenced using non-gender child-like pronouns (e.g. "Tyke"."Dear",etc). There is no female/male selection, only hairstyle and colors(hair/skin/eyes/accents)...

That's the player character, once your in game, the game plays a lot like animal crossing only without the multiplayer features. The Core Gameplay Loop revolves around designing objects and crafting them from materials, but it would be an error to consider this "Open World Survival Craft" since the designs are made from "Parts" that you can assemble into dedicated objects; this system works for any of: Furniture, Wall Patterns, Floor Patterns, and Clothes. With the latter being gated behind certain story events (don't worry this is laid back, it's not a challenge, just time consuming).

There is dyeing of the parts eventually and you will unlock dyes quite early on. If your like me and love pink the good news is you don't have to suffer my pain now because I'm telling you those white rocks on the beach are chalk, i spent ages looking for that in all the wrong places...

There's also a nice array of brush types for clothing dyes and painting. Normal Furniture is painted "per piece" but clothes and actual paintings or coverings (wall/floor) are free-hand drawings using brushes (with an optional "Fill All" Option)

Basically? The Game is targeted at children between 6 - 16 leaning on simplicity and creativity rather than violence or sex appeal. There are no tasks required of the player that I am not 100% confident a six year old could manage with enough reading skill, as the directions are often simple and to the point. That is not to say it is strictly a "Kid's Game"...but it lends itself well to this facet.

Best Played with a Controller for younger children, but teens and young adults may find the mouse and keyboard more responsive.

My Only Complaint is there is a "Undo" button, but no "Redo" button...

TL/DR: The Game is fit for children interested in arts and crafts, and has enough content of its own to allow even teenagers and young adults to enjoy the experience.

It gets veeery grindy towards the end - at least if you`re going for all the Mayor Merits (sorta like ingame achievements/challenges which get you rewards and unlocks). I eventually gave up on that and settled for getting all Steam Achievements.
Aside from that, some things are a bit... wonky. I unlocked the weather control device before the sprinklers, making the latter pointless. If you use fertilizer to make higher quality veggies, these do not count for the all veggies achievement - only the regular ones do. The rewards you get for completing villager errands (usually clothes) seem to come from a very limited pool - I kept getting the same things over and over.

That being said I got the game on sale for 4 bucks. For that price it isn`t terrible... but not good either.

I was hoping to prove the negative reviews wrong but it's veryyyy slow and basically no gameplay, I ended up just sleeping through days to skip until there was something to do. Slow gameplay can be done well, e.g. Animal Crossing, Tom Nook or another NPC gives you a new task every day etc to keep you on your toes, but in this game if you ask the 'tom nook' character what to do, they just tell you to ask the towns people (all 3 of them) even when none of them have nothing for you to do. The fact that you cant unlock certain things (like the map??) until you've sprinted for X amount of time is bonkers when your (invisible!) stamina bar drains in about 0.3 seconds. Pretty broken that you can steal everyones furniture from their house/shop and sell it with zero consequences, however, unfortunately this animal crossing knock off missed the mark :(

Quando eu vi esse jogo na loja, ele me passou muito uma vibe de Animal Crossing ou Stardew Valley, sabe?
Aquela coisa gostosa de ser o novo morador da cidade, ajudar os habitantes, construir sua casinha, fazer missões, coletar itens...

Mas infelizmente, ele deixou bastante a desejar. Falta conteúdo, variedade, profundidade, no geral, achei tudo muito raso. É uma pena, porque a estética dele me agradou bastante. O visual é super fofinho, e dava pra fazer algo bem mais legal com o potencial que ele tinha :(

Enfim, espero pra que evoluam com atualizações ou talvez em uma sequência. Mas no estado atual, acabou não me prendendo.

When I first saw this game in the store, it really gave me Animal Crossing or Stardew Valley vibes, you know?
That cozy feeling of being the new villager in town, helping the locals, building your own little house, doing quests, collecting stuff...

But unfortunately, it ended up being quite disappointing. It lacks content, variety, and depth. Overall, I found everything a bit shallow.
Which is a shame, because I really liked the art style. The visuals are super cute, and the game clearly had potential to be something much better :(

Anyway, I hope it improves with future updates, or maybe in a sequel. But in its current state, it just didn’t manage to keep me hooked.

The first part of the game focused on competing "Mayor Merits" - global tasks like collecting 10 unique fishes or bugs, crafting N objects etc. They unlock new zones and new gameplay mechanics. After that, the game focused on crafting objects and building the village, because other things like: fishing, catching bugs, and making requests for villages are pointless. Days go by quickly and you can sleep to skip days and hours, not like in Animal Crossing.

Pros:
The game has good visuals, raining days look good.
The fishing and catching bugs are enjoyable.
Building is good. You can craft objects and get crafted objects from other players. You can build, place, and add a second floor to houses.
The game does not require you to grind resources, only if you craft a LOT. Villagers will bring you resources each day.
Cons:
Farming requires you to water crops each day - very boring. Once you unlock the weather device you can just call rain.
NPCs look lifeless, and the dialogues are not interesting and repetitive.
Nothing to do except build a village.

I was really on the fence with this recommendation. The game is pleasant, the Ui easy once you get use to it, the fishing game isn't insanely difficult which is usually my problem, and the graphics are cute. You can build a very cute town. I tilted towards recommend as the game clearly has a lot of hours and love poured into it.
HOWEVER - the sheer volume of picky little parts to create things and complete quests is ridiculous. I am trying to build a lamp for another character. I need light bulbs. I have purchased the bulb pack, but it tells me I have insufficient material. I have glass, seems obvious, and I bought something suggested by another player. NOWHERE can I seem to find out what the required material I don't have is. I will play the game for hours, but I rarely quit because it's bedtime. I quit because I'm frustrated. If that sort of thing bugs you, you'll probably be frustrtaed too. If you consider it part of the fun, you'll have a blast!
