I would recommend this game, but only with heavy caveats.

1) Be very careful about spending your money on this game. The only things that are truly worth their price are the premium pass of their seasonal event (last season was Frostspore, this season is a Movie themed event), and the monthy premium service. Everything else is extremely predatory and exploitative. The gachas allow you to see the probability of rolling each piece, and it's enlightening, so I recommend doing that. It's like a 0.01% chance of rolling the special treasure on your first pull, and even on your second last pull that number only goes up to 8%. You have to be prepared to spend the maximum amount of currency on every gacha you pull on in this game, which for the outfit sets is around $50 USD, but for the furniture sets? Lord only knows. It's probably around $400 USD.

Understand that the initial pull value they have listed is NOT what you will be paying for every pull. This latest set of outfits they released starts at 3 tickets per pull, then jumps to 12, then 24, all the way up to 96. It's a blatant attempt to obscure how much money you actually need to spend to get the full outfit set. Know what you are paying for.

2) Make a sincere effort to befriend others. The game provides a great foundation for socialization, but it's really up to you to build upon that foundation. If you never attempt to reach out to other players, the game will absolutely feel lonely. I've joined a discord server where we have private towns with people aged 30+ and it's been a wonderful way to make lasting friendships, that have even carried onto other games.

3) Temper your expectations if you are a collector / achievement hunter type of gamer. A lot of things in this game are gated by time rather than effort. It's a daily quest simulator, at its core, so # of days played will always trump pure effort. Additionally, you NEED to spend money to finish every set in the game, there is simply no way around that. And it will get pricey. If you're an all or nothing type of person, and money is tight, go with nothing, because you will be incredibly frustrated attempting to collect everything in this game.

무난하게 즐기기 좋은 생활컨텐츠 모음집.
모바일의 조작감과 ui를 그대로 포팅해서 시점 조작감이 어이가 없고(wasd로 움직일 순 있는데 화면을 돌리려면 마우스포인터를 화면의 빈 공간에 클릭 후 원하는 방향으로 드래그해야 한다. 이 와중에 캐릭터 주변에서 클릭을 시작하면 화면전환이 안 먹힘) 그 흔한 키 바인딩조차 없으며 상호작용키를 키보드로 꾹 누르는것으로는 작동되지 않고 화면에 떠있는 모바일 ui를 꾹 클릭해야 작동되는 일부 인터랙션처럼 뭔가 하다 만 듯한 포팅상태 등
편의성 측면으로는 이게 pc버전으로 나온 게임이 맞나 싶지만,
게임성 자체만 놓고 보면 썩 나쁘지 않다.

온라인게임처럼 퀘스트가 많고 일퀘가 있어 분재겜의 기본소양은 갖추고 있으며,
지나가다 만난 사람과 이모티콘, 동작을 주고받는 간단한 소통 외에도 여러 명이서 한번에 참여하는 mmorpg의 필드보스같은 컨텐츠도 있어 그럭저럭 온라인게임의 감성을 내 준다.
여러 생활컨텐츠를 하며 돈을 모아 가구를 사서 집을 꾸미는 게 최종 컨텐츠인데,
예쁜 가구는 구하기 힘들거나 비싸서 가구에 진심이 될 수록 지갑에서 돈이 줄줄 샐 각오는 해야 한다.
(여러가지 가챠가 있는데 의상 가챠보다 가구 가챠가 훨씬 악랄함)
안 질러도 인게임에서 구할 수 있는 옷과 가구로 충분히 볼만한 수준의 꾸미기가 가능하나,
더 꾸미고 싶고 더 화려해지고 싶다고 마음먹는 순간 평범한 모바일게임급 유독성 가챠를 체험할 수 있다.

가챠 얘기가 나온 김에 잠깐 설명하자면,
의상의 경우 비교적 저렴한 팩은 5만원~15만원 정도 생각하면 되고,
전시회라는 평범한 물욕 의상 팩은 10~30만원 정도 생각하면 되고,
가구 팩은 20~60만원 정도 생각하면 된다.
(당연히 특정 아이템 한두개만 먹고 빠지려고 했는데 운좋게 그걸 빨리 먹었다면 훨씬 싸진다)
그리고 게임이 나온 지 얼마 안 되어서인지, 사료의 양이 가챠 맛보기엔 턱없이 부족하다.
어느정도냐면 호요겜 이상으로 빡세다. 월정액 지르고 꾸준히 하면 한 버전에 70~100뽑 정도는 얻을 수 있는데
여기는 어림도 없다. 4,500원짜리 월정액 질러서 30일치 다 모으면 10연차 딱 한번 시켜주는데 뽑기재화 사료는 없는 수준이다. 월정액 사는 순간 한 번 주는 재화(180레드크리스탈)는 가챠재화로 환산하면 3뽑 정도.
10연차 깡트럭은 15,000원 정도고, 나같은 경우 이번에 나온 숲가챠 120번 돌렸는데 아직도 3부위를 더 먹어야 하는 상황이다.
미획득아이템 천장 횟수 생각하면 대략 180회 내외 정도가 올컬렉 천장으로 보인다.
이런 팩이 한 기간에 2~3개 나오고, 위에서 설명한 저렴이 의상팩도 동일 기간에 2~6개씩 나온다.
이 게임이 정말 마음에 들어서 지갑을 털어도 좋다는 게 아니라면, 그 상태에서 동숲을 해본 적이 없다면
가챠 할 돈으로 스위치 사서 동숲 하는 걸 20,000배 추천한다.

게임에 어느정도 익숙해지니까 앞으로 할 것들이 눈앞에 그려지면서 동숲라이크+라이브서비스로서 지속성의 한계가 보였기에, 이 부분은 꾸준히 한 달에 한 개 이상씩 테마를 선정하여 인게임 참여형 이벤트를 열어서 게임이 살아있다는 느낌을 유지하는 게 필요하다고 생각한다.
아직 오픈한 지 몇 달 되지도 않아서 기우일 수도 있겠지만.
여튼 지금의 감상은 풀 멀티플레이어 게임만이 가지는 장점을 플레이감각 부분에서 좀더 활용했으면 좋겠다.

근데 진짜 pc판 내면서 키 바인딩이 안 되는 건 뭔 생각인지 싶다.
쓰는 키 몇개 있지도 않은데도 조작 면으로만 보면 붉사보다 더 불쾌하다.
하다보니 적응돼서 그냥 하긴 하는데, 2026년에 개발사가 지정한 키 외에 다른 키를 쓸 수 없는 게임이 있다는 게 말이 되나 싶다. 뭐 엘든링 g키처럼 일부 키 1~2개만 못 바꾸는 그런게 아니라 그냥 하나부터 열까지 모든 키를 아무것도 변경할 수 없다.
나는 e보단 f를 상호작용키로 선호하는데 상호작용이 f키라 그나마 다행이다 싶었다.
근데 키 바인딩은 참고 해도, 시점 조작은 도저히 용서가 안 된다.
아이온2로 치면 왼손은 아이온2버전 조작, 오른손은 아이온1버전 조작을 해야 한다 ㅋㅋ
이런식으로 포팅할거였으면 차라리 wasd 이동을 없애고 마우스로 땅바닥 클릭하면 거기로 가게 하는 고전 mmorpg식 조작이 훨씬 나았을거라고 생각한다.
물론 가장 베스트는 현재 기준에서 키바인딩 도입한 후 tps처럼 마우스 흔드는대로 시점조작이 되는 것.
지금은 모바일게임을 억지로 키마 연결해서 하는 느낌이 너무 강하게 든다.

아쉬움이 많지만, 아직 게임이 나온 지 얼마 되지 않았는데 내가 느꼈던 불편함은 대부분 편의성 관련이므로
시간이 해결해주지 않을까 란 생각에 그래도 긍정적인 시각으로 이 게임을 보고 싶다.
재미는 있다.

After playing this game for 2 months straight, I can confirm you literally can not get ANY of the nicer outfits without dropping $12 at the BARE MINIMUM . There was a cut scene that they did during the last event where there was some racist undertones. I just got an AD on Twitter that is just straight up racist and am uninstalling this game as I write the review.

so this game started off really nice and cozy but soon you start to see how expensive the game really is. for example to unlock all the plots of your lot it takes almost $1,000,000 which is very hard to obtain unless you login and grind really hard everyday. plus on top of buying the clothes and furniture it makes it really hard to save. my other issue was you only get like 5 daily quest and thats it the rest of your gaming time goes to grinding for money and to level up hobbies (which hobbies take for ever to level up due to the points requirement being so high) i didn't mind the grinding at first but it became boring due to the repetitiveness. there is also a bad pet glitch that never got fixed that made it hard to interact with your pets. also the extras that cost real life money were most of the time better then the stuff that cost game money making you want to spend your real life money more. they make it hard for you to get the things you want in the game and force you to spend your hard earned money on a free game. they really should have a better balance like other games but they don't. also clothes and furniture repeat a lot at the store so you never really get a lot of new options. i'm uninstalling this game and removing it from my account and most likely won't be playing it in the future. it's not worth it.

I normally don't leave Steam reviews, because I'm usually pretty happy with the games I buy here. But I wanted to lave one for this game because I genuinely tried to give it a fair chance, even with some of the criticism already surrounding it.

Visually, the game looked cut and promising to me, like a mix of Animal Crossing and The Sims. Unfortunately, I ran into major performance issues almost immediately. I only have 0.6 hours into the game I could barely get through the tutorial. I experienced crashes, "Not Responding" alerts, lag, and temporary freezes before I could even properly get into the gameplay.

I lowered the settings all the way down to Low Quality and even reduced the resolution in Windowed Mode to about half my monitor size, but nothing fixed the problem. My PC is not high-end, but it usually runs most of my games just fine, including some larger ones, so this stood out to me as a game-specific issue.

I wanted to be fair and give this game the benefit of the doubt, but in its current state, it feels too unstable for me to recommend. I do think the game has potential, and I hope the devs seriously address the performance problems in future updates, because that is mainly the reason I can't recommend it right now.

Ok, the game in itself is ok, very chill and very approachable, but the currency is a true nightmare, both the money (that runs out faster than your patience playing the events to earn some) both with the gatcha currency. It's actually impossible to play gatcha without paying real money, the game gives you NONE. You get 2 a day for a week when a new banner is out, and THAT'S IT. So, if you are interested in the gatcha side, forget it altogether unless you are LOADED.
If you want to enjoy a cozy game without caring about the cute stuff the team puts in the banners, it's a very relaxing and cozy game.

Heartopia is a surprisingly peaceful and relaxing game, but at the same time it quickly pulls you in. From the very beginning, it’s easy to get hooked – I kept telling myself “just a few more minutes,” and suddenly hours had passed 😄

It has a certain charm in its simplicity and a really pleasant, cozy atmosphere. It also reminds me a bit of the old game Fishao, which unfortunately we can’t play anymore, and maybe that’s why it gives me such a nostalgic feeling.

If you’re looking for a game to relax with, but still something that can truly immerse you, Heartopia is definitely worth trying.

Estou jogando no PC a um bom tempo, é ótimo o jogo, falaram que é predatório, não vi nada disso. Até pelo contrário. As estrelas que seria o conteúdo pago, você ganha fazendo missões e até acha elas pelo mapa de tempos em tempos. É só ir juntando se não quiser gastar.
Falaram de racismo, OI? Onde? Nunca vi e nem entendi onde estão vendo. Acredito que isto está nos olhos de quem vê.
No mais é um jogo muito relaxante, pra jogar sem pressa, com amigos é ainda melhor.

The game is practically borked when it comes to controls... it even said in dialogue "tap" instead of "click" and it's clearly optimized for touch control. I could run mobile version on my laptop and it would feel exactly same. Simply said game is not friend with mouse and keyboard. Really poor port of mobile game to desktop.

Well after 200+ hours playing this game....
This game has its good and bad sides. Cute game for sure, proof that I always come back to play, to do daily tasks since the day its released until now. Even though now kinda boring after unlocking all the plots and did all the story quests. The gacha system... is very bad :"> Back to each individual, free to choose how you want to play this game... For the f2p players, there will be so many events in the game, you can still get cute cosmetics and furnitures for free. The paid one much much cuter indeed, don't expect too much TvT my experience, I always unlucky with the gacha.

I still recommend this game, it's fun if you want to fill your free time and dive into some coziness. If you like socializing with other players, there are so many cute interactions you can do with others here.

Was good at first but now it is clear that the game is just a gacha money trap with no good and meaningful content being added at all. Only "updates" are seasonal slop and very unfair gacha gambling additions. Collabs with weird other products to maximize profits.

Meanwhile many bugs remain. Despite the devs publishing posts and surveys nothing changes. The real updates are very small and void of any content. The potential is so huge but it is ruined totally with all the gacha race where the only content is to compare your gacha (or the lack of) to those of other people. Buggy pets, buggy unfinished cutscenes, barebones hobbies, lack of coop content, existence of 5 different currencies, lack of new content (not seasonal slop where you do the same thing but in different seasons/themes) are some of the complaints that I have. Frankly I won't spend time writing a proper review to a game that has devs who don't spend time developing to achieve the great potential that the game has. I will not recommend this game. I used to have fun with my girlfriend and the game amazed me at first. Like I said though, it went downhill quick.

TL;DR If you are rich and want to compare your gambling wins with your neighbors but lack a real neighborhood and somehow live in a secluded martian desert, you can play this game and start comparing your hard earned gambling wins with your neighbors today. Otherwise stay away.

Game is okay..... but not in PC, it is a really lazy port, I don't recommend it just because its not optimized for PC yet and seeing how ignored the community feedback is I don't think it will be any good soon, maybe never. Just keep playing on your phone or endure the annoying gameplay like I do. If you ignore the PC version the game is okay and fun, events are pretty easy, you get rewards for anything, money is not a problem and overall is a nice game to relax. Just play it on your phone.

I’ve been playing this game for about 3 months and have put in hundreds of hours.

At its core, this cozy style game is genuinely charming. The furniture designs, character aesthetics, and fashion system are creative and fun. It has a lot of potential which makes its problems even more frustrating.

When it comes to obtaining special furniture or fashion items, the monetization becomes very aggressive. After playing many gacha games, I can say the system here feels poorly designed. There is a pity system, but it doesn’t feel rewarding at all. Even when you reach pity, you can still get duplicates, and with the already low drop rates, it makes progression feel unreliable and discouraging.

In most gacha games, pity systems exist to give players a sense of certainty or progress. Here, it still feels like you’re gambling with no real guarantee. Combined with the duplicate system and bad rates, it quickly becomes frustrating especially for a cozy game that should feel relaxing, not stressful.

Yes, the game gives some gacha currency from events, but it’s heavily time gated. You can’t realistically save enough for the items you actually want, which makes the system feel forced and pushes players toward spending.

Bugs are still present, but that’s somewhat understandable and they are slowly being fixed which is good. However, the core system issues are never addressed. Players are clearly unhappy with the rates and duplicate heavy rewards, yet nothing changes.

Another major issue is the gap between global and mainland servers. I understand that regional differences can exist, but when rewards or compensations differ despite the same events and timing, it feels unfair. This is honestly one of the most noticeable and frustrating disparities I’ve experienced.

This is a good game with poor system management. It had the potential to be a great cozy experience, but instead it just feels unnecessarily exhausting.

Im a new Player. I play for a few Days now. And i really love the Game. I played other cosy Games before, but Heartopia is different and has my whole Heart.
Heartopia has so much possibilitys and endless Options and a huge Potential.
And yes i was aware it has a Gotcha System when i downloaded it.
You are not forced to buy things, you get plenty of free Stuff with events and with in Game Gold too.
The Gameplay is very easy to learn and the overall Look, the UI ect is very clear. Quest Instructions are clear and easy to follow.
What i also love is the Building Mode for the Home. Easy to learn and to work with.
Sidenote: i saw the Criicism of some Part of the Community and im sure the Devs will roll out the Stuff & Events the chinese Players get later on to the Global Version.
What i will NOT do : praying for the Downfall of the Game just because the chines ePlayers got soemthing before the Global players did. That way of thinking is very immatuire in my Opinion.

If you search for a Cosy Game and like the Chibi / Kawai Style i absolutely recommend Heartopia

Gosto muito do jogo mas é ridículo como após tanto tempo rodando, ele ainda é um port de celular pra pc, é muito divertido fazer amizades e encontrar com amigos nas vilas mas, após um certo nível se torna cansativo sem ter objetivos que não estejam escondidos em time-walls, espero muito que esses pontos melhores, vou continuar jogando pois gosto muito mas não me vejo recomendando o jogo para que alguém caia nesse tipo de armadilha.

Great Game. Very relaxing. Lots to do and lots to build/collect. Love the interactive furniture and pets. I also love the fact that if someone is bothering you in game, you can block them where they no longer appear on your screen. Very playable even if you don't spend any real money on it.

I love that there are many things that you can do in game. Ten hours on already and I really like it a lot. You can customize your character, your house, catch fish, bugs, and gather materials to make furniture, cook food, and even interact with other players online and your friends. It is pretty fun so I definitely would recommend. It is a really cute game.

Its a very cute game with LOTS of things to keep you busy.. there is an emphasis on making friends and helping each other, however, you can easily play alone, or with few friends. There are many things to keep you occupied past the daily tasks. The building feature is very good. I love Open World Survival Building and while this is not that, it does have a great building aspect, as you play you earn and buy building material and decorating aspects, my favorite. You can indulge in being an author, your artistic passions, and so many other things..its a GREAT casual game I feel many people would enjoy, give it a try

Ich spiele Heartopia jetzt schon eine Weile und kann die vielen negativen Bewertungen zum Gacha-System ehrlich gesagt nicht ganz nachvollziehen. Oft wird behauptet, dass man ohne Echtgeld nicht weiterkommt – das stimmt so meiner Erfahrung nach nicht.

Ja, es gibt die Möglichkeit, Echtgeld auszugeben, aber das betrifft vor allem besondere Items wie exklusive Autos oder spezielle Kleidung. „Normale“ Autos und Outfits bekommt man hingegen recht schnell und problemlos durchs Spielen selbst. Beim letzten Event (My Little Pony) konnte ich mir durch das Event bereits 1–2 Ziehungen erspielen und habe mich nur entschieden, etwa 20€ auszugeben, um ein besonderes Auto zusätzlich zu bekommen – notwendig war das aber nicht. (Ich habe vom Event 2 Outfits komplett und 1 Auto mit 20€)

Für mich ist Heartopia vor allem ein entspanntes Cozy-Game. Besonders viel Spaß habe ich beim Häuserdesign und beim Kochen, da man hier wirklich kreativ werden kann und viele Möglichkeiten hat.

Ein kleiner Kritikpunkt ist allerdings die Steuerung, die sich aktuell noch etwas unbeholfen anfühlt und hier definitiv noch Verbesserungspotenzial hat.

Fazit: Man ist absolut nicht dazu verpflichtet, Echtgeld auszugeben, und kommt auch so sehr gut voran. Auch wenn es „nur“ fünf Daily-Aufgaben gibt, hat man genug nebenbei zu tun, sodass das Spiel insgesamt abwechslungsreich bleibt.

Heartopia è l’ennesimo esempio di gioco free to play costruito per farti spendere, non per divertirti.

All’inizio ti illude: grafica carina, atmosfera tranquilla… poi scopri che se vuoi anche solo un oggetto decente devi tirare fuori soldi a non finire. Letteralmente, per avere qualcosa di bello sembra che devi spendere più dello stipendio del papà.

La community peggiora tutto: invece di essere un ambiente rilassante, è piena di gente che si sente superiore solo perché ha speso di più. Se non paghi, vieni ignorato o preso in giro. Un vero peccato per un gioco che dovrebbe essere sociale.

Come se non bastasse, il gioco è pieno di bug: problemi vari e meccaniche che non funzionano come dovrebbero. Questo rende l’esperienza ancora più frustrante.

E quando non sei occupato a evitare questi problemi, ti rendi conto che il gioco è sempre uguale: attività ripetitive, zero evoluzione, noia assicurata dopo poco tempo.

In sintesi: pay-to-win, monotono, pieno di bug e con una community tossica. Assolutamente non vale il tempo, figuriamoci i soldi.

The game isn't terrible, can be enjoyable at times. However, I encourage steering away from this game if you are considering getting into it. Heartopia uses a gacha system, like many other free-advertised games, in order to make their money. The game is playable without spending any money, but limited and less cosmetics/furniture can be purchased. If you're like me where customization matters a lot in a game, the f2p options will quickly begin to feel very limited. Their gacha banners use a certain currency that is primarily obtained through purchasing, and although they provide players with some for free they're very limited and don't get you far. Heartopia's gacha rates have been confirmed to be misleading and unfair. I pulled over a hundred times on a banner with 40 furniture items and still don't have all the items. In fact, I got 0 out of 4 of the highest tier item and 1 out of 4 of the second highest tier. Out of 100+ draws. Continuously this game advertises false gacha rates and uses generative ai in the production of their advertisements and some in-game items. It may be cute and fun to play with friends sometimes, but I would generally steer clear of it.

TL;DR at the bottom. I don't leave reviews but I want to be honest about my experience because I was extremely excited about Heartopia since this was the kind of game I've been BEGGING AND WAITING for. I could excuse the gatcha (as scummy as it is, I understand as it's FTP), but the racism? The use of AI? Bad system/devs? Inexcusable. I played at the very beginning, and I stopped playing in February for a few reasons:

1. I'm going to speak on this first: that part of the quest was so intended to be "silently" racist. I don't know how they thought that they could get away with that unnoticed. They must think their audience is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ stupid, which maybe they do considering their gatcha is so bad and they give the worst updates and people stick around. Regardless, it's disgusting. And not to mention, not even a direct apology for it? You can't even call it an apology. There was only one statement made (that I could find) AND IT'S NOT EVEN AN APOLOGY. "I'm sorry YOU got offended by the OBVIOUS racist act" Is what it basically said. Suuuuuuper disgusting--Eat a brick. I'm so glad I made the decision not to continue supporting this company/game back then. If you continue supporting Heartopia after this, you're racist. There is no ifs, ands, or buts, because there's zero reason to keep playing after this situation of the devs/game for being disrespectful and racist to other HUMANS and not even taking accountability and giving an ACTUAL apology for it. And for you "it's not that deep" people; go learn some empathy or argue with the wall. I digress.

2. Gameplay/Devs: the devs ONLY care about one platform. Mobile. They DO NOT give a ♥♥♥♥ about PC players. When issues came about for the first update (prior to being available on steam), PC and mobile both had logging issues. However, literally within 24hrs, mobile players were able to log back in with minimum issues, and then it took SEVERAL days for PC to even log in, and most still had issues. They released the steam version and I had to agree to the weird Eula crap because the Heartopia launcher was still not working for me! Regardless, that was LOST gameplay and time for leveling up. And that's the other issue: the gameplay is BAD. All the controls are CLEARLY still for mobile players, there was ZERO thought into the "re-design" for PC players. But it was still better than playing mobile I guess? Designing/house building was still a pain regardless. The game loop feels very predatory as well, you can ONLY (and not even always at higher levels) level up ONCE a day, and that's IF you get all the D.G. members quests done within a certain time. As someone with a job, I don't always want to play every day, and I don't want to be FORCED to play every day if I want to keep unlocking things, I want to play at my own pace and time. Why make it a daily requirement? Because then you feel like you're behind/at a loss because you missed one day so you keep playing or fomo.

3. AI usage: when I learned of the AI usage (I noticed their ads used AI) and I wanted to report it only to find out that they SUPPORT the use of AI and didn't care. That disappointed me so much that it put me off from playing for a little. Only to then have it come to the light 3 days later that they ACTUALLY used AI in their game (shocker) for stinkin' puzzles! It's not like they couldn't have gotten someone to just make them, it's a multi-million making company--OR EVEN DID AN ART CONTEST, there was so much cute art made, people would've GLADLY made for them! Regardless, they handled it so badly, and didn't even give a real apology about not being up front with the usage and silenced anyone who tried to call them out about it (prior to them making a statement). It wasn't until they were continuously called out and reported to steam that they FINALLY put the discloser on it. So if they're not even going to be upfront about that, what else are they not being up front about?

So, do I recommend this game? NO, this game sucks ass.

TL;DR: Heartopia's gameplay sucks, they won't apologize and take accountability for being racist, and they don't give a single ♥♥♥♥ about their player base: it's just a pretty cash grab.

love this game, its so cute and the design is just -MWAH- it keeps me occupied when im bored and i love the little actions you can do with friends, one of my favorites is the holding hands XD baisically the only downside is it takes a lot of storage on mobile, i reccomend if you are gonna get heartopia you should get it on pc -Four stars overal :3-

As much as I want to to say this game is inherently good, I can't. Obviously I do like Heartopia to some extent, I wouldn't have this many hours if I didn't, but that doesn't necessarily make it a good game, at least not from an ethical standpoint. While yes, the graphics are cute and there's a lot of good things I could say about the character design, I still have my grievances.

Firstly, there's the obvious issue of this being a gacha game. I have nothing against gacha games in general, but this one is incredibly predatory. There are almost no ways for a free-to-play player to easily receive premium currency in game outside of events, and even the event given currency doesn't amount to much. The Devs give out frequent codes on their discord, sure, but those don't usually give premium currency either.
My other two issues aren't something to go as in-depth into. Again, another obvious one is the monkey incident (iykyk). It doesn't make a difference that the devs are chinese, racism isn't excusable, and the fact that they immediately started banning people for speaking up speaks volumes. And my other big issue is the use of AI. The devs don't have the excuse of not being able to afford to pay real artists when they are the ones that reported making over a million in revenue within a month.

tl:dr - Gacha's rigged, multi-million corpo doesn't wanna pay real artists, the monkey incident

EDIT: Forgot this part, mb. To all my black brothers and sisters, A. this games playerbase has a pretty big racism problem, and B. If you want your character to be black and an accurate representation of you, good luck. We get two unique hair styles, if you include the buzz cut. Not even an afro.

Esconderam o uso de AI até serem apanhados. A quest com o único POC a fazer sons e gestos de macaco (que acabaram por tirar sem qualquer pedido de desculpa pelo racismo)... Para não falar nas técnicas extremamente predatórias de gacha, nem nos mil menus super confusos e desnecessários.
