This used to be a pretty unique top down rpg with lots of build freedom, player housing, crafting, and reasons to explore the world and collect new spells and skills. There was optional pvp, good pve enemy variety, and lots of city building and cooperation.

The company was bought out, the servers have been taken down, and the game is being completely redesigned into a faction based conquest pvp game based on archetypes with set abilities rather than allowing full rpg style character design freedom.

I'm not sure who thought this was a good idea or why.

The servers will also be down for over a year so no reason to even look at the game currently.
