so time consuming that you can fail others things in life, if you get distracted by this very good, and very addictive game,

you can fail on life
you can fail on ambitions

if purchased please play sensibly and remember things exist outside of your laptop or computer at home,

i ran a business while a student but failed my degree as i could afford the nicer life and enjoyed few hour gaming sessions a day,

enjoy.

My hours for this game are because I left it on for a whole weekend when I went away by accident. In reality my hours are around 4 to 5 hours on this game.

I could not get into this one despite being a huge football fan, it felt outdated at the time when I played it (which was in 2017). But if I remember correctly the community felt similar at the time about this one.

Uno de los mejores de la saga. Amalgama bien complejidad y profundidad de gestión sin que sea terriblemente extenso todo lo que hay que hacer para poder jugar un partido de fútbol. Uno de los mejores de la saga y tengo casi todos desde el 2007-2023. Si eres un enfermo del tema gestión y entrenamientos, los últimos te vendrán súper. Si más bien quieres una partida un poco más dinámica sin tantísimo que tener en cuenta, este es el ideal. Sobretodo con los packs de extensión de ligas, kits y escudos, que aún pueden conseguirse gratis por algún lugar escondido.

I'm not a football fan, but this game is addicting. I've played FM08, FM11 and FM13, each time I played a couple of dozens of hours in Lower League Managing, but these games lacked a bit of cohesion and consistency. FM17 is different, more complete. I'm now 600+ hours in the game. I started deep down in the lower leagues: level 22 in Sussex and started as a complete novice manager without experience, looking for the first amateur club that would hire me: Heath Rangers.

I'm now 15 promotions further in the game and leading the Isthmian competition. It's fantastic. I'm having a great adventure and slowly crawling closer to the English Premier League: Heath Rangers against Manchester United or Liverpool... and wining? We'll see.

The game is not perfect. Managing an amateur team in FM17 is too easy. It's too easy to get strong players to come over from the other side of the country to play in your club. Not really realistic, and thus too easy to compose a relatively strong team for the league you're in. But once your club reaches semi-pro status it gets more tricky. Budget restrictions will get in the way of relying upon good players for free. But I found a way around it: not getting payed, and no staff besides an assistant manager and a football director. Who needs coaches and scouts at this level?

So far I did not get into the pro-leagues, so my experience is very limited. But until now, this game brings everything you can expect of a game to have an epic adventure from zero to hopefully one day hero: Heath Rangers champions of Europe.
