An absolute load of rubbish. This "Game", is not worth being free let alone paying anything for it. The controls are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, the "game-play" if you can call it that is none existent. There are several basic quality of life stuff that isn't included. This is clearly just a poorly made asset flip. Avoid this one, not worth getting even if it was free.
I've played this game, so you don't have to.
It's cheap, but buying ice cream or bubblegum is a better investment than purchasing this game.
There is nothing positive that I can say.
Car handling? bad
Track layout? Mid at best
Optimization? AAA Games released in 2025 run smoother than this

I'm 100% about some assets like cars - Fantastic Race Car 53/43/7/59 (and others).
Textures or environmental objects like grass or barriers are more difficult to give a concrete name, but some assets are very similar to the ones in the game.
I'm not sure that this game is an asset flip. Some elements don't seem like assets, such as car handling or the damage mechanic(they're that bad). Still, you shouldn't waste your money on this game.

Two notable criteria for what makes an asset flip instead of legitimate use of stock assets are whether those assets comprise the majority of the game, and whether the "developer" properly credited the people who created most of the assets in the game. The "developers" here didn't credit any of the artists and real, actual game developers who created the assets here, so this is plagiarism, as well as cash grab shovelware.
In this case, the asset flipper took a bunch of low quality Unity car assets and dumped them on a basic driving/racing game template, with a rough "country racetrack" theme that does little to disguise what this really is. Some effort did go into fleshing out a bare bones "game", and a few basly slapped together tracks, but ultimately this is just another attempt from an amateur developer to get YOUR money for someone else's game assets. It has no value or merit as a real game.
Taking this shovelware seriously as if it was a genuine attempt to make a game, it doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard.
The mismatched game assets are fairly mediocre/low quality, it's a wonder why they couldn't be bothered "borrowing" higher quality assets for this asset flip. This is a lot like going on a shoplifting spree but only stealing the cut price store brand goods. Regardless, the poor quality assets alone should be enough to deter gamers from bothering with this.
These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game.
Dumbass Drivers! didn't appeal much to the people who own a copy of the game, either. It has achievements, and they show us a very clear picture that the game didn't really capture any interest from gamers. The most commonly and easily attained achievement is "Hunt's Raceway", for racing on one of the racetracks, trivial to get, but less than 3 percent of players bothered to get that far before uninstalling the game. Hardly a success story, even the people who own this game weren't interested in it.
Reviewing SteamDB to check how popular this game was with players reveals a surprise... there's a modest spike in player counts for the game. But this only happened once, and isn't consistent with the achievement stats, that show less than 3 percent of players bothered playing the game for any reasonable amount of time. How is it possible for this game to have so many concurrent players who didn't bother engaging with this game? Trading cards. People will use card idling software to collect the cards and sell them, but this won't trigger any achievements in-game.
That tells us people only really bought this game for trading cards, and that's a damning indictment of the woeful quality. A closer look at the numbers shows the game just has a couple of players every week running up the game and idling it for cards, then deleting it. We must ask how it benefits gamers for there to be so many games like this, with little merit as a serious game, that only generate sales from people idling and selling the trading cards.
This kind of asset flipping isn't harmless. It makes it harder for gamers to find genuinely made games from ethical developers. It makes it harder for genuine indie developers, who put hard work into trying to make real games, to find an audience for their products. It gives indie developers a bad name.
So, should you buy this asset flip? Is this better than any of the 110,000+ genuinely made games on Steam? Of course not!
Dumbass Drivers! is relatively cheap at $1 USD, but it's not worth it. Given the defects and quality issues with the game, coupled with the unrealistic price, and the questionable ethical nature of the developer and/or their associates (as outlined above), this is impossible to recommend. Remember that if you buy a game from an unethical developer, you're putting your money at risk.

-Зачем то в угол снизу впилили эту убогую картинку улыбающегося чела. ЗАЧЕМ?? ЭТО ГОНКИ, ЗАЧЕМ???
-"Уличная" тачка может ехать гораздо быстрей и лучше, чем самая дорогая машина в игре (ПОЧЕМУ??)
-Вы-гощик, но при езде прямо у вас будет ломаться машина и надо др.. "дрыгать" кнопку ремонта на протяжении всей длинной гонки.
-Миникарту может захавать жук (bug), иначе я не могу объяснить, куда пропадают куски

I don't give that many negative reviews because i know what an indie game might represent for the dev'' but in that case, it is hard to do otherwise. May be i don't catch the spirit of the game, may be it was not for me but frankly...the circuits are (just have no word), the cars look like (no elegant word in mind).
You might purchase this stuff for the steam trading cards (if you find a 66% or a 75% coupon.)

This resulted in breaking my fifth metacarpal in my right hand—the hand I worked with, played games with, and used to carry my children to bed—the hand I desperately needed to ensure I could continue providing.
Upon learning the severity of the self-inflicted damage, I became almost suicidal. Keep in mind that just a few months before this, I was the happiest man, with no history of depression or anxiety. I had never experienced anger outbursts, nor was I the type to break down and cry, but I was in a tough situation that truly prevented me from seeing the light on the other side.
With nothing better to do, I looked for a game I could play WITH ONE HAND while recovering. Somehow, I stumbled upon this game and read some of the comments. I decided it was worth a try... I must admit I didn't beat the game, nor did I play as much as some of you. In fact, I may have played this game for only a day or two. That being said, after doing so, I had a new joy and hope for life. I managed to leave behind the pain and suffering that had been thrust upon me. I could experience the joy and happiness of other people. I relaxed for 5 ♥♥♥♥ minutes listening to this music, long enough to realize that I would be okay.
After realizing this, I turned off the game and went back to work. My hand hurt a lot, but I was motivated. I stopped feeling so sorry for myself and became the father I needed to be at that moment, not the weak boy I was behaving like.
Today, I am close friends with the mother of my children. We don't fight, argue, or say hurtful things to each other. We are parents and friends.
Now I have 3 children. My third child is, wait, ALSO 4 YEARS OLD. The woman I am with was going through a very similar situation at the time of my separation, and we just unexpectedly stumbled into each other's lives. We have been dating for a year and are very happy together.
Moral of the story: you never know what life has in store for you, and if I had given up when all odds were against me, I wouldn't be where I am today. This silly little game helped me realize that.

dumbass drivers! is a 2017 arcade racing game developed by mj lovegrove (their first game according to steam, followed by 2019's 'mr. maze') and published by screen 7. i've now officially completed their first eight games published to steam with the completion of this, with only two more to go in my currently-owned backlog (the aforementioned mr. maze (2019) & lorelai (2019).
as for the quality here, it's......not good. i do not recommend this unless you get it in the screen 7 bundle, which i recommend but definitely not because of this game's inclusion.

I love the part where the still png of a very badly modeled man stares at you for the entire race.
I like the game but it has few glaring issues:
- Takes way too long to repair cars mid-race, it is very annoying having to spam F constantly to repair.
- The car prices should be lowered or races should give more for winning, I shouldn't have to farm the first mission as much as I had to to get cars (probably over 20 times, likely more).
- Massive bug that I got three times now where I will pass the finish line first but the game says I finished second, with the scoreboard showing me in second with a lower time than first place, and not unlocking the next track.
- Despite there being no indication, if you hit $0 mid-race all your progress gets reset. I think this should be removed entirely and just make you lose the race and get kicked back to the main menu instead, either that or at the very least TELL THE PLAYER IT WILL HAPPEN.

After coming to that realization, I turned the game off, and I went back to work. It hurt my hand like hell but I was motivated. I stopped feeling so damn sorry for myself, and I became the father I needed to be in that moment, not the weak boy I was behaving as.
Today, I am close friend with my kids mother. We don't fight, or argue, or say hurtful things to each other. We are parents, and friends.
I now have 3 kids. My third child is, wait for it, ALSO 4 YEARS OLD. The woman I am with was going through a very similar situation at the time of my own separation, and we just stumbled in to each others life unexpectedly. We have been in a relationship for a year now, and are very happy together.
Moral of the story, you never know what life holds in store for you, and if I would have given up when all the odds were stacked against me, I wouldn't be where I am today. This silly little game helped me realize that.

rodo no meu noot samsumg (nada gamer) e assim dei uma chance a esse jogo, de inicio parece algo horrendo e mal feito portado de celular, mais ai vemos que é dos mesmos produtores do game :(the adventures the fatman, game simples e também muito divertido) então conhecendo um entendemos pela escolha de palheta de cores e tudo mais simples e dinâmico, a diversão em si.
temos dois tipos de camera fora do carro vendo as imperfeições de como nosso carro anda sob a estrada e pista ou do lado de dentro, vendo como os carros dos adversários não tocam no chão suas rodas;mas esta tudo bem afinal é divertido e zoeiro e da um certo ponto de nostalgia de lembrar games antigos de ps1 de carrinho doidos.
ainda contém cartinhas e conquistas, o que com certeza ajuda a manter o equiibrio para da-lo uma oportunidade.

Didn't play it much so far, but I am having great fun. The controls are a bit confusing at first, but once you get the handle of it, it is fine.
I didn't notice the instructions on the settings tab when I first played, so it took me a while to find out that I should press space bar to get the turbo lol.
And well, it IS annoying when you are in first place and crash right before the finish line on the last lap :)
Also, the game is cheap, sometimes you get discount for it, and you get trading cards. I guess it is worth to buy it.

I was pretty salty when I first wrote my review but let me explain better:
I had put three hours into this game, grinding levels over and over again to fast track and unlock the best car because I thought that was a fun way to play, when I finally did I did a race to test the handling of the car.
I was super low on money I just wanted to play with it, however I kept crashing and ended up damaging my car too much, when I got out of the race and had no money left the game removed all unlocks and reset me from scratch, all tracks all cars gone.
This is really bad game design, I can understand a punishment for this hell, its even got an achievement tied to it so the Dev knew what would happen but this is way too much and will cause many players like myself to just give up on the game.
All the little bits of enjoyment I had during this silly over the top game were ruined by this moment and every-time I think about re-installing this game that moment resonates with me and I just move on.
I cannot recommend a game that is designed to punish the player so hard.

"Dumbass Drivers!" ist ein Rennspiel.
Der Titel des Produkts läßt schon Schlimmes erahnen. Erschrocken ist man dann aber doch, wenn das Spiel die geringen Erwartungen noch meilenweit unterbietet.
Das Spiel selber bietet 16 Strecken, eine schlechter als die andere. Und ein paar wenige Fahrzeuge, die stilistisch deutlich an realen Fahrzeugen angelehnt sind. Wir fahren also erstmal auf einem stupiden Rundkurs im Kreis und schon beginnt das Grinden. Denn wir haben zu Beginn nur Zugriff auf ein Fahrzeug und eine Anfängerstrecke. Es braucht mehrere an Langeweile kaum zu überbietende Rennen bis wir endlich mal genug Kohle zusammen haben, um uns mal eine andere Karre zu leisten. Die fährt sich dann auch nicht besser als die Schüssel, die wir zu Beginn hatten.
Und das liegt vor allem an der nicht vorhandenen Physik. Das Fahrverhalten hat nicht mit echten Autos, die ja auch Gewicht und Trägheit haben, zu tun. Es erinnert eher an Raumschiffbewegungen aus alten Atari 2600 Zeiten. Lenken wir in eine Richtung dreht sich das Fahrzeug einfach um eine unrealistische Achse. Man hat nie das Gefühl, daß wir überhaupt mit den Reifen den Boden berühren.
Ein Indiz für diese These ist, daß auch manche Gegner optisch deutlich sichtbar keinen Kontakt zur Straße haben sondern frei mehrere Zentimeter über der Erde in der Gegend herum schweben. Das wir die Fahrer nicht wirklich stören, denn eine KI ist nicht nennenswert vorhanden. Damit wir nicht davonschweben bleiben wir regelmäßig an Objekten oder Gegnern hängen und beweisen dabei ständig den quantentheoretischen Casimir-Effekt, denn wir bleiben einfach untrennbar an den Objekten kleben.
Das Besondere an dem Spielchen ist, daß wir immer wieder während des Rennens was machen müssen. Eine Taste drücken zum Beispiel, um während der Fahrt nachzutanken oder das Auto zu reparieren, das allein schon durchs bloße Fahren ständig an Leben verliert. Oder wir erhalten einen Anruf, den wir annehmen müssen.
Diese Ablenkungen sollen wohl witzig sein. Im Endeffekt sind sie einfach nur bescheuert und richtig grottiges Gamedesign.
Grafisch kommt der Titel direkt aus der Unity-Hölle. Wer ganz zu Anfang als Unity noch neu war keine Ahnung hatte, wie man mit einer Engine umgeht, der baut solche häßlichen Billigwelten. Immerhin gibt es unterschiedliche Ansichten und sogar eine Lenkradperspektive, die allerdings kein animiertes Lenkrad hat, sondern einfach nur aus einer einzigen statischen Textur besteht.
Einen nennenswerten Sound gibt es erst gar nicht. Dafür läuft ständig ein niveaubefreites Gedudel. Und immer wenn wir fahren sehen wir eine unfaßbar häßliche Repräsentation unseres eigenen Selbst, die uns zweifeln macht, ob es wirklich eine gute Idee war, daß unsere Vorfahren einst die Bäume verlassen haben.

I buy this game thanks to reduction code steam, and I'm not disappointed. It's à game made with Unity, so it's not a big game, but it's an entertaining and interesting game, especially for its price (0.53€ = 0.63$)

Даже не знаю, кто в здравом уме и трезвой памяти ставит лайки этой игре. 2017 год, но по графике как раз на 15 лет устарела, ибо это 2002 год максимум, да и то с натяжкой! Геймплей же и вовсе картонный, невразумительный.
Прошёл трассу из 9 кругов 2 раза и вырубил, ибо даже не заработал на первую машину - здесь ещё и китайская пытка с гриндом.
Для сравнения - даже первая часть Need For Russia просто шедевр в сравнении с этим! Никому не советую, здесь даже достижения не выбьешь лёгкие.

另外加速是烧钱的，如果你一直按着加速，你的钱就会被一直扣下去，中石化留下了感动的泪水。
总而言之，是个乐色游戏呢。

I understand that this is supposed to be a budget racing game, but it's real bad. There are a few neat things, but not enough to warrant a purchase.

I absolutely enjoy that there are various camera angles for driving. This is extremely helpful and sometimes needed. The button is reasonable, as you just press down left joystick to switch between over the car, first-person, and hood view. The music isn't bad, but the songs get a bit annoying after a bit. The timed levels are pretty cool as well, but sometimes uneven pavement can completely destroy a good run.
[h1][b]The Bad[/b][/h1]
The first issue is the controls. The controls feel extremely stiff and even with a controller, it's hard to control the car's turning because of how sharp it reacts to input. The buttons are oddly placed and having the "A" button on a controller be reset is very confusing, since it's normally gas or boost in a racing game. Instead, boost is activated by pressing down the right joystick. Holding "B" turns the camera 180 slowly until you are facing yourself. It's an odd button for this and the camera turning slowly makes it impossible to turn in time to see the people behind you.
The second issue is the car's magnetic abilities. The car sticks to the ground on the track, unless it's a jump course. Going 120 mph on a steep hill? You won't leave the ground and the camera will whip downwards to match the hill and it's quite nauseating and somewhat difficult to get used to.
The third issue is the track design. On quite a few of the turns, there are very steep inclines, but the textures are poorly mixed, so your car stutters for a second because it's not a smooth surface. Imagine running over a pothole going 70. The vehicle damage seems random and sometimes I was damaged just for being near other cars. This is a problem because you have to pay a bit every time you damage your vehicle. It's small, but it adds up.
The fourth issue is the grind. I understand that there has to be a bit of replay value for a $2 game, but you shouldn't have to play the same level a few times just to make enough money to be able to progress in a racing game. You should be able to upgrade your car as you complete the races without having to replay. In order to beat the races, you have to use the boost. Otherwise, the cars will just lap you because of their speed. This becomes a problem with the grind because using boost and repairing cost. A full boost bar costs over 200. It's a bit difficult to get money, but if you want to cheese it, go as slow as you can on the first race and slightly speed up. Every time you beat your current best lap timer, you get about 150 and using certain powerups get you money as well, however the game does't tell you how to earn powerups.
My fifth issue is the map. It is hard to tell where the cars are coming from behind you because of the slow-turning camera, but it's made worse by the map for the cars. Each car is marked as a giant circle larger than the track itself. There is little to no option of avoiding a car if it comes speeding towards you due to catch-up. If one of them hits you, then you're out of the race and most likely spun out.
The largest and final issue is the AI cars. I have no idea how they work because of their inconsistency and this is where the grind comes into play. It is a huge issue because the AI doesn't seem to care how well you do. I beat the first and second level along with the first stunt jump, but the third level is locked behind a hardlock. You have to upgrade your car before you should even attempt it. Within the first minute, I was already in 3rd place with no way of catching up, as the 1st and 2nd place were already half a lap ahead of me. I never crashed and used boost on the upward slopes and going straight. I figured I had to upgrade my car, so I replayed the first level again. I used boost whenever, got 2 boost refills, 2 temporary speed boosts. I was in 1st place and about half a lap in front of the car behind me. While boosting around the final corner, the AI speeds up and rams my car faster than I can boost, then I got launched into the wall due to the speed of it. It seems that if you go too slow, you lose, but if you go too fast, you lose. Difficulty in a racing game is supposed to be moderately close the entire time, not insanely easy or hard. It makes it frustrating and sucks all of the fun of the race when you're being dominated by over half of the cars.

I may have forgot to touch on something or not have explained well enough, so if you have a question, comment below and I'll answer. There are much better racing games out there for equal or slightly higher prices. Just pick up the good ones on a nice sale. Don't waste your time and money on this one.
A bad option to spend your money on!
This game is trash.
Not the good kind of trash, but just a waste of time!
Here are some of the reasons why:
- Maps are badly done, yet playable with much patience!
- Design sucks. I mean the graphics are worse than many free games from the beginning of the 21st century, it is just bad, cheap landscaping and very low budget production overall.
- THE GUY to the right of the screen makes me freak out. I mean WHY? Why do you add something like him? xD
You can get the achievements relatively easy, if you feel the need to get them ... (<25h)
BUT...
You better go get yourself a burger for that money!!!
