Quasi-Monsters in real-time combat attacking on their own, quasi-RNG based collectathon. Honestly a fine enough game to get engrossed in (at least so far with my short play time, but I can't say I expect it to shake the formula up more than what I've seen so far), but I will admit my disappointment at the high number of recolors in the lineup as a fan of monster collectors, usually numbering four to five of a type of monster when pooled into one type leaves you with just 17 monsters in the lineup (or 18 with one, but it's weird),
That said, the focus is more on the different treasures that act as callbacks to previous games and generally roaming around trying to hit the right RNG blind-pick numbers when the areas and treasures line up to match what you're missing. It does feel a bit aimless, partly because there's no set piece to get the treasures to fill out your list barring the main story bits, it's just roaming the area following your tracker to go to random spots to get treasure or slightly less good treasure until you're stocked up and leave, where it'll then refresh. Combat's also in that weird aimless territory, but also brainless, partly because there's not a lot you can do beyond just setting up party composition and maybe using items in the kinda clunky menus. Still stings a bit having treasures be monsters that aren't in the game, but, c'est la vie. I'd say get it on a sale unless you're a die hard Dragon Quest fan that claps when you know what the thing is. I dunno, number wise on score I'd give it a 6? I'm not sure out of what number, try reloading the page and refreshing the RNG to see if my score changes.
すごく楽しいゲームです。何かを躍起になってプレイするのではなく、今やりたいことをプレイして、ついでに物語を進めていけば、最高に楽しいです。
仲間を増やす、宝を探す、サブクエ挑戦、ついでにメインクエも進める感じでプレイしてます。
ただ、力尽きた時にセーブした所からになるので、セーブはこまめにしないとです。

致命的に悪い部分はないが、万人受けする要素もあまりなく
どんな層が楽しめるのかがわからないため
「おすすめできるか」という質問には「いいえ」と答えるしかない
基本的にはコツコツ繰り返すことを苦としない人でないと飽きる
ストーリーもシステムも単調であり、大きく盛り上がることはないし、大きく悲観することも起こりにくい
このため、何か大きな感動を求めている人には勧められない
逆に「ルールを守ってコツコツプレイ」が楽しいそうであれば苦にならないし、
アイテム発掘で経験値が手に入るので、戦闘が苦手であっても楽しめるようになっている
その一方で、クライマックス部分の[spoiler]戦闘中に「アイテムをとれ」と言われるが、
今までやってきた「かすめとる」を行うとなぜかミスする
実際には近づいてボタン長押しという今までなかった操作を要求されている
操作自体は難しくないが、ルール通りに「かすめとる」を行うとミスするので困惑が勝る[/spoiler]
クライマックスでこれが起こるのでモヤモヤしたままエンディングを迎えることになり、
ただでさえ単調なストーリーの後味が微妙なものになる
このため「ルールを守ってコツコツプレイ」を好む層にも手放しで勧められない
つまり「コツコツプレイ」が好きでないと勧められないが
「コツコツプレイ」好きにも勧められない作品という評価に落ち着いてしまう
Not a big DQ fan. I loved Builders 2 and couldn't get into 11 at all even though I really like JRPGs.
What I like:
- A cozy experience. Its laid back with running around large maps. You look for treasure and monsters to recruit.
- Its a collectathon. You just wanna pick up everything. Rare monsters, and tons of different treasures to find.
- Simple but loveable characters. You're just gonna look at everyone and feel a fondness for them.
What I don't like:
- The combat is really, really boring. Don't even expect a hint of depth. Just clicking and pressing the dodge button occasionally.
- The fast travel points are rather far and few in between? This can be resolved by an item you get from quests sometimes, but man, there's a lot of back tracking. Not exactly respectful of one's time.
Overall, if you're looking for a exploration game that's simple and relaxing I do suggest this. If you are familiar with the DQ series then that will probably add more to the enjoyment. But if you want a traditional DQ experience, then look elsewhere.

トレジャー収集系実績（パーフェクトコレクター等）よりも、この「億万長者」の方がグローバル達成率が高いのが信じられません。みんなどうやってお金貯めたの？？
【改善してほしいシステム面（BAD）】
1. 操作性とテンポの悪さ
アクションの判定： 壺を割ろうと近づくと、割らずに上に乗ってしまうことがあり、探索のテンポを削がれます。
演出の冗長化： トレジャー画面を開くたびに発生する「最新価格の表示モーション」がスキップできず、回数を重ねると非常にストレスを感じます。
2. モンスター関連のバランス
おしゃれモンスターの出現率： 遭遇率が極端に低いです。ポケ〇ンの色違いよりはマシな確率かもしれませんが根気が必要です。
視認性の低さ： 「ちびドラゴン種」や「トンブレロ種」は、おしゃれパーツが小さすぎて、一見しただけでは判別がつきにくいのが難点です。

I couldn't recommend this game, even if you're a fan of the franchise, or you really love DQ11, take a pass on this game. There are better spin offs and better yet, if you've never played DQ Builders 1 and 2, get that instead, especially you're expecting a cosy experience from this game but instead it gives you nothing but headache from the lack of QOL and annoying rival and monster pestering you from doing what you want to do, in this case, treasure hunting.
Recommending this solely on the fact that there is a party member available who is one of the killer samurai robots voiced by Pekora from Hololive. It constantly spouts off her greeting and other catch phrases, and also makes little weird Pekora noises.
There is also a special party member that is voiced by Yuji Hori, the series creator. It says things in both Japanese and English, like "It's me, Mr. Hori," and "Welcome to my world."

L’envie de trouver le meilleur trésor, qui pourra vous rendre toujours de plus en plus riche, est bien présente tout au long du jeu.
Il ne faut pas s’attendre à une grande aventure comme celles auxquelles Dragon Quest nous a habitués, mais si vous êtes fan de la licence, ce jeu peut vous offrir du plaisir. Il m’a permis de découvrir un peu plus l’univers de Dragon Quest.
J’aime bien tenter d’obtenir tous les succès d’un jeu, mais pour celui-ci, je me suis contenté d’en obtenir un maximum sans me casser la tête, car je voyais clairement que faire un 100% demanderait beaucoup trop de grinding.

とにかく主人公が弱い。後半になるほどパチンコ＆強弾無しでは同じレベルでも勝負にならない。
モンスターを仲間にするのにいちいち要求アイテムを用意するのが非常に手間。
一個でも宝を取ると無限に湧いて出てくるライバル団がうざい。しかも倒すごとにレベルが上がり硬くなる。

E um jogo para fãs de Dragon Quest que querem mais.
É um pseudo-RPG moderno de andar e coletar, a parte do combate é terciária e esse é um ponto negativo porque fica repetitivo pela falta dele, mas no que se propõe é bem caprichado, uma viagem na nostalgia com os tesouros e tem toda a aura mágica de Dragon Quest nos eventos, bem o espírito de DQ Monsters na verdade!
Tem que ir com paciência, eu curti, desanimei, aí animei de novo!
Pra quem curte DQ e quer algo inédito pra relaxar é muito recomendado! Para quem quer algo RPG deixa ele pra depois.
J'adore les Dragon Quest et celui la je le trouve tout de même moins bon. Le principe est sympa, l'histoire aussi, mais un manque énorme de bestiaire. Tout le long du jeu c'est les même monstres en boucle mais d'une variété différentes... Je trouve ça dommage et pas à la hauteur de ce qu'on attend d'un Dragon Quest.

Spinoff di DQ11 grafica migliore e colonna sonora molto simile con qualche aggiunta nuova e qui finiscono le cose positive. Da fan della serie non posso non giocarlo MA ci sono davvero molte cose che lo rendono molto tedioso; un gameplay molto semplice e ripetitivo, molto simile al primo ni no kuni vai in giro a caccia di tesori seguito da 3 mostriciattoli che puoi sostituire in base a quelli che trovi, non sarebbe male visto che ho apprezzato ni no kuni, ma qui risulta tutto molto semplice quasi senza meccaniche e con un solo attacco statico e le abilità dei mostri; per non parlare della lentezza del tutto 10-15 secondi di animazione per cambiare zona o raccogliere un tesoro....

賛否両論なレビューでずっと買うの迷ってましたが、ストーリークリアまで楽しむことができました
お宝を集めてコレクションするゲームを求めていましたが、お宝にはかなりの種類がありまさになゲームでした
ドラクエはⅤしかやったことなかったですが、歴代ストーリーを知っている人なら懐かしのお宝もあってより楽しめるんじゃないかと思います
ただ、ほかの人のレビューにもある通りお宝集めのテンポが悪いので、全実績解除まで至らずに飽きてしまいました
お宝以外にもモンスターのリセマラ？したり、作業が好きな人にはおすすめですがセール時購入した方がいいかもです
総じて「惜しい」という評価が一番しっくりくる。今作によって、「運ゲー」は「クソゲー」という図式が出来上がってしまった。
「おすすめはしにくい」が、どこまでやり込むかによって評価が変わる作品だと思った。
「ライト」に遊ぶ分には、それなりに楽しめる。それでも外伝までもを含めたドラクエシリーズのニッチな知識は前提となるが。
「お宝コンプリートしたい！」という人には全くお勧めできない。MODありきでコンプリートしたが、それでも大変だった。つまりMODがなかったらもっと大変だったということさ。
批評ついでに（誰に向けているかは分からないが）アドバイスも書いておこう。
□まずゲームのジャンルについて。
「ハクスラ」＋「探索」に特化した意欲作ではある。ここは評価したい。「宝探しのロマン」はある。……あるいは「ロマン」しかないと言うべきだろうか。
とにかく何かにつけて「ランダム要素」が発生し、「ひたすら運ゲー」を強いられるので「ギャンブルゲー」と言い切ってしまっても良いかも。
まず誰を対象にしているのかが分かりにくい。全体的な雰囲気は「夏休みの子供向け」である。ストーリーは無味無臭と言ったところ。あるいは「幼いストーリー」と言っても良い。
しかし前述したように「ドラクエシリーズの知識」が必要になるため、実際に「遊んで楽しい」と思うのは「中高年」になるはず。多分制作陣の平均年齢が高かったのだろう。それとも「親子で楽しんでね」という想定なのか？ それにしては遊びにくいが……。
一方、「従来のドラクエシリーズ」とはシステムが根本的に違い、「〝薄味の〟アクション」となっているため、「ナンバリング」のファンは苦手と感じる人が多いかもしれない。
つまり「子供」に向けられていながら、「中高年が楽しめる」作りになっており、中高年の中でも「コマンドバトルにこだわりがないよ！」という、ものすごく〝限定的な人〟が対象となる。…………ゆえに、入り口の狭さで失敗していると言わざるを得ない。
正直、この内容だったら「ドラクエ11S」に出てきた「人気の高いカミュくん」「出番の少なかったマヤちゃん」のままで良かった気がする。ストーリーはもう少し肉付けが必要になるが。どうして「子供時代」なんていう「描きづらい・受け入れづらい設定」にしてしまったのか…………。
□とにかく全体的に「遊びにくい」。快適さとは程遠い作りであり、コンプリート出来るものならやってみろ！ という開発陣の挑発的な態度が見え隠れする。――「やり切ることの大切さ」を子供に伝えなくていいのか？
・まず移動速度の遅さ。これは本当にやめてほしい。マップを行ったり来たりする仕様上、移動速度の遅さがマジで嫌がらせのレベル。MODがなくとも、二倍速、三倍速ぐらいは付けておいてほしいものだ。
・お宝を掘り出すまでの「長押し時間」が割と長い。〝いちいち〟発生するので、何回もやっているうちに鬱陶しい！！ ってなる。「足止めの時間」が長いほど、探索の楽しさが減ると思うんですが、この辺、どうお考えなんですかね？
・同じお宝が良く出る。――――というか、まず大前提として「掘り出せるお宝は、未鑑定のお宝を拠点に持ち帰った後、毎回変わる」という点を留意しておかなければならない。「最初の島に在るお宝をコンプリートしてから次の島に向かう」みたいなプレイスタイルの人は気を付けてほしい。「同じ島を探索し続けるより、いろんな島を満遍なく探索する方が良い」のである（実体験）。
では話を戻そう。――お宝にも「キズモノ」から「天下一品」という「品質」が存在する。高い品質の方が査定が高くなるというわけだ。できれば品質の高いお宝を集めたいが、これもランダムなので一発で天下一品が手に入ることもあれば、何回やっても「ふつう」なんてこともある。「同じお宝が出る度に品質が上がっていく」「天下一品のお宝はお宝ガチャから排除する」みたいな仕様があれば「天下一品を手に入れる喜び」も上がっただろうに。ちょっと自信はないが、「天下一品」の二つ目を手に入れたことがあったから、多分普通に出る。……「天下一品」とは？
問題なのは「贋作＝レジェンドのニセモノ」である。最後の最後まで残っていたものは「ロトの剣」だったが、まあ贋作の方が手に入る手に入る。ロトの剣を手に入れるのに、MODありきで3時間ぐらいかかったが、その間に贋作は三本出た。――贋作、マジで許すまじ！！
「お宝占い」によって「レアなお宝」の有無が分かるのだが、「贋作も伝説級も同じように驚愕の反応」であるため、見分けがつかない。また「じゃあ本物もニセモノも掘り出しちゃえばいいじゃん！」と思うかもしれないが、その島に配置されるのは「本物」か「ニセモノ」のどちらかだけなのである。「お宝の気配がない」と表示されるまで、その島にあるお宝を全部掘り起こしたから間違いはない。
１，まず「お宝占い」が出ない。
２，「お宝占い」が出ても「ホンモノ」が出るとは限らない。
３，そもそも、そのお宝を見つけられるかはプレイ方針・プレイ内容による。
４，クソゲーと嘆く。
これだけは憶えておいてほしい。――「持っているお宝」は「持ち物」から任意で捨てられるということを。
シルエットからお宝の内容をある程度判別できるようになるまでは時間が掛かるだろうが、「お宝占い」の際にシルエットも表示されるので、見逃しやすくはあるが注意しておくように。過去に見たことのあるシルエット・手持ちの中で同じシルエットのお宝は捨ててしまってもいいだろう。…………一部、「全く同じシルエットでありながら、別のお宝（例えば〝カード〟）」というものも存在してはいるので、ある程度やり込んだ人向けのアドバイスになってしまうが。
とにかく何が何でも「伝説級」のお宝を優先するべきだ。後に残ると苦行になる（実体験）。
なお「ジャンク」に関しては後回しにしてしまっても構わない。こちらに関しては「持っていないものが出やすくなる」仕様であり、ジャンルさえ合わせておけば自然に集まるはず。また総査定額によって団ランクが上がり、団ランクが高いほど様々な側面で有利になる。そのため「トレジャー」を優先的に集めることをおススメする。
・そして「念願のお宝」を手に入れても「落としてしまう・奪われてしまう可能性」があること。
それぞれの種族には「お宝ガード率」というなんとも分かりにくいステータスが設定されている。これは「攻撃を受けた際に、仲間モンスターが所持しているお宝を落とさない確率」である。そもそも、手に入れたお宝はモンスターが運んでいるのであり、同時に運べるお宝の数も種族によって違う。例えばスライム属なら「二つでガード率は100%」、ギガンテス属なら「四つでガード率は85%」。お宝で両手をいっぱいにすると零れ落ちてしまうようなイメージだろうか？
雑魚敵の場合は拾い直せば済む話。しかしライバル団の場合は、落ちているお宝を拾って持ち帰ってしまう＝ほぼ永遠にロストしてしまう可能性がある。これがもし伝説だったりしたら……と考えると嫌がらせとしか思えなくなってくる。
じゃあ「お宝ガード率の高い仲間にレアなお宝を持たせておけばいいんだね？」となるが、できないのである。もう一度言うが、お宝を誰に運ばせるかを選択することはできない。いったん捨てて拾い直すなら可能かもしれないが、どのお宝にどれが入っているのかは傍目には分からない。ヒドイ話である。
・そもそもライバル団と戦うメリットがあまりにも少ない。倒して得られる目ぼしいものは「決まった種類の料理」と「コイン」のみである。
ライバル団とは、お宝をたくさん所持していると、探索中に襲ってくることがある「お邪魔キャラ」である。――――これは序盤に勘違いしていたことだが、警告が出ると「拠点のお宝」が狙われているのだと思って、帰ってみると警告が消える。「あれ？」となっていたが、そうではなくて「探索中に見つけた未鑑定のお宝」を狙って襲ってくるのである。しかも結構な頻度で。警告されたからと言って、できることは迎撃する以外にないのだが。
…………もし仮に「一時的に防衛拠点を築く」なんて仕様があったら、また違った印象になっていたかもしれない。警告が出る→防衛しやすそうな場所を見つける→防衛設備を整える→いざバトル！ ――みたいなね。タワーディフェンス要素として、総査定額で「買い物」をして「ライバル団を迎え撃つ」わけだ。総査定額が多くなるほどいろいろ「買い物」ができるようになるのでゲームバランス的にも徐々に簡単になっていく。そのためお宝の査定額を上げる方法がもっと必要になるだろう。ライバル団は「〝持っていないお宝〟を落としていく確率が高い」とすれば戦うメリットも確保できる。
……ただしもう一度言うが、これはあくまでも「実装されていない」ことに注意してもらいたい。
・戦闘が虚無。初撃の出の遅さ、壺を割ろうとして、壺の上に乗るが多発する、ロックオン機能がないため良く外す、近接を仕掛けるとやられやすい（らしい）、パチンコぺちぺちが地味に使いづらい。――最終的には主人公の「きようさ」が「バフ込み」で「2700」ぐらいあったが、「きようさ」はなにに影響しているんですかね……？ ここまで上げても「確定クリティカル！」……とはならないんだ。バフなしで「500」とか「600」（正確な数字ではなくて、すまない）なら、単純にクリティカル率も3倍、4倍になっているということなのだろうか？ 多分相手のレベルによっても変わるんだろう。良く分からない仕様だ。
――パチンコに関しては、せめて連射が効いてくれれば……と思わないこともない。三点バーストなら三つの弾をあらかじめ選んでおいて、同時に撃ち出す、とか。「マヌーサ＋毒＋ルカニ」なんかは戦闘の初手に持ってこいだろう？ 「眠り＋スカウト＋スカウト」とか、組み合わせを考えるのも楽しいかもしれない。…………弾の制作コストも下げる必要があるだろう。
・「スキルチェイン」の仕様。ほとんど理解しないままコンプリートに至った。「発生したら儲けもの」ぐらい。「スキルチェイン」が発生すると「NEXT」として属性アイコンが表示される。これの内「どれか一つ」を「別のキャラ」が当てることで「スキルチェイン」が継続するようだ。
大ダメージを狙えるため多発しない仕様なのだろうが、出てほしい時に出ない、出てほしくないときに出るなど、「確率系必殺技」の悲しい宿命を背負っている。「ダンジョン」ではスキルチェインが前提になっている節があり、「あまり良い仕様ではない」と感じた。
・「ロマン技」＝「任意で出せる必殺技」は地味ぃぃぃぃに演出が長い。「スキップ」できないのはどうしてなんですかね……？
・虹コインの出にくさ。コインにも「銅」「銀」「金」「虹」とランクがあり、「銅」では一つしかスキルが付いておらず効果も低い、「虹」では四つもスキルが付いていて効果も高い――となれば、最終的に金以下のコインは「捨てる」しかないのだが、合成によって「虹コイン」を作れるようになれば遊びやすかったと思う。「お目当てのコインがまず出ない」「出たけど金」みたいながっかり感はプレイ意欲を削ぐ。対応策が必要だったと思うんだ。
・「ダンジョン」の煩わしさ。全5フロアで、最初のフロアは何もない。最終フロアにはボスが居る。よって変化するのは3フロアのみとなる。ほぼ探索要素がないため、楽に思えるが、ウェーブ戦になっている場合があり、倒しても倒しても湧いて出てくるのが非常に面倒。クリアしても手に入るのはお宝一つと（装備してキャラクターを強化する）コイン一つ。
1分以内にクリアすると「虹」判定になるが、何が良くなっているのかは実感しづらい。（MOD使用のため）そもそも1分以内クリアがどれぐらい実現可能なのかは定かではない。多分もらえるコインがレアになるとかそんな感じだろう。「確定虹」であってほしかったが、金が出ることも多いため、尚更実感しづらい。
更に厄介なのが「かなりの低確率」で「邪面のボス」と戦える仕様。「レオヴァン」というキャラからクエストを受けられるのだが、この一連のクエストで「邪面のボス三種類を倒す」というものがある。クエストクリアまでは「戦えないことが問題」になり、クエストクリア後は「戦うのが面倒」になる。また「同じボスが何度も出る」というのも煩わしい。クエスト中、「そいつじゃない！！」と何度思ったことか…………。
参考までに実績達成率を見ると「2025-08-18」時点で2.9%。ストーリーをクリアした人が19.6％。ほとんどの人がこのクエストを諦めたということだろうか。
確率を上げる方法は、多分存在しない。ダンジョンの前でセーブロードすると内容が変わる、とは言うものの、「お宝の内容は変化しない」ようなので、多分「邪面ボスかどうか」が変化することもないと思われる（試した回数は少ないので確実ではない）。ひたすら「面倒なダンジョン」を攻略し続けるが「近道」とだけ言っておこう。
・「駅を復旧させるクエスト」の面倒臭さ。「駅」はファストトラベルの地点として機能するが、「キラーパンサーを駅員として紹介して！」と言われ、「キラーパンサー」を「雇用」しなければならず、近場に出てくるキラーパンサーを「スカウト」しても、「雇用」するために一度拠点に帰らなければならない。アイテムを揃え雇用した後で、「もう一度〝歩いて〟駅に向かわなければならない」のだ。つまり「ファストトラベル地点」を解放するのに「ファストトラベル」が欲しい――というなんとも不親切な設計である。テストプレイしなかったのか……？
・「鍵のかかった宝箱」。宝箱を見つけても開けられない！ は良くある話だが、中に入っているのは「お宝」であり、コンプリートする際には避けて通れない道である。鍵を入手できるのはストーリーをそれなりに進めた後である。「本格的な探索を始める前にストーリーをクリアしなさい」という想定なのだろうか？ 開けられなかった宝箱をマップに表示しておいてほしい！ とまでは言わないが、せめて「マップに印を付けられる」機能は欲しかったですね……。
□パーティ編成の不自由さ。
・まず仲間モンスターには、それぞれ「ハイジャンプ」「地面に潜る」「滑空」「ダッシュ」「サーチ」のどれか一つが付与されている。スライム属なら「ハイジャンプ」、ドラキー属なら「滑空」と種族によって決まっている。
冒険に連れて行けるモンスターは3体まで。五つある中から最大で三つを選ぶ、という形になる。……正直、5体連れて行ける方が良かったと思う。「ハイジャンプ担当の中から一体を選ぶ」「ダッシュ担当の中から一体を選ぶ」など。
・序盤からしばらくは「ハイジャンプ」「地面に潜る」「滑空」の編成にしておかないと、「見えているけど開けられない宝箱」「何かありそうだけど、行けない場所」というように移動に関して非常に煩わしい制約が掛かってしまう。その点「ダッシュ」と「サーチ」は「やり込む上であると便利」といった程度なので優先順位が低い。
・とりわけ「サーチ」の使いにくさ。「素材やお宝が壁越しにハイライトされるようになる」という機能だが、明るい場所だと非常に見づらい。素材もお宝も同じ色で表示されるため、形で判別するしかない。色分けとか、「いかにもここです！」みたいな矢印を表示する（画面が矢印塗れになってしまうが）とか、範囲内の未取得のお宝をマップに表示させるとか、……なかったんですかね？ プレイヤーに対する親切心。（実際には実装されていないのだが）上記の「マップに印を付けられる機能」で「要：地面に潜る」みたいなマークをお宝の傍に置いておけば、せっかく辿りついても「パーティ編成のせいで取れない」なんてことも減っただろうに。
・おしゃれモンスター・宝石モンスターの存在。宝石モンスターは特定の位置に出るモンスターが一定確率で置き換わるというもの。分かりづらいが、とりあえずスライムであれば、どの位置に出現するスライムであっても、確率で「ヒスイスライム」に置き換わる……わけではない。出現場所が決まっているので、これを知らないと時間を無駄にしてしまうだろう。とりわけ宝石モンスターは「宝石系のお宝」を、それぞれ二種類ずつ持っているため、宝石モンスターを見つけたら「見つけた位置」を覚えておこう。
おしゃれモンスターの方はなおさら厄介である。おしゃれモンスターは「通常固体」に対し「特別な特技」を身に着けているので、戦闘能力が高いと言える。ただモンスターをじっくり眺めることがあるだろうか？ すぐに襲ってくるのに？ モンスターを観察し「違いに気付けるかどうか」で判別するのは非常に面倒。遠くを見られる「遠眼鏡」のようなアイテムがあっても良かったと思う。世界観にも合ってるし。
見分けづらい以上、すれ違いざまに殴り倒して、倒した後で「あ、おしゃれ固体だった！」ということが頻発する。またおしゃれ固体も確率でしか「スカウト」できない。おしゃれ固体は確定スカウトでも良かった気もする。ここでも「運ゲー」を強いられるわけだ。
「名前の色が違う」「パッと見でキラキラしている」「団ランクが上がると出現率が上がる」「ストーリークリア後には更に上がる」みたいな仕様があっても良かったのではないか？
更に厄介なのが「モンスターのランク」である。「銅」「銀」「金」「虹」とあり、虹が一番良い。「おしゃれ固体を見つけました！」「ちゃんとスカウトできました！」「……でも〝銀ランク〟でした」ということも良くある。「銀」だと「使える特技が少ない」「探せるお宝が一つしかない」など「後半になるにつれて重く圧し掛かってくるボディーブロー」となる。さっさと解雇してしまおう……経験談として、「おしゃれ固体」の「メタルハンド」「マドハンド」はできなかったのが。
「特別固体」に関しては「虹」確定でも良かったのではないだろうか？ あるいは、何かしらの方法で「虹固体に育成できる」と良かったのではないか？ とにかく「強いられる運ゲー」のせいで遊びにくさが際立つ。
・次に「スカウト」→「雇用」の流れ。まずお目当てのモンスターを「スカウト」できるかどうかが「運」であり、次に拠点に戻って「雇用」する。「雇用」して初めてパーティに組み込めるようになるのだが、「雇用」の際に要求されるアイテムの量が尋常じゃない。「スカウト」はできたけど「雇用」はできないという事態が多発する。
・「レシピ」がマップに点在している。きっちり探索しているつもりでも結構見逃していた。攻略サイトありがとう！！ 「しっかり探索をしたご褒美」と言いたいところだが、モンスターを「雇用」する際に「料理」を要求されるため、「レシピ」を見つけられないと「いつまでも雇用できない」ことになる。「レシピ」も「トレジャー」に含めてくれて良かったんじゃないですかね……？

A treasure hunting action RPG in the DQ world. If you absolutely love the Dragon Quest series then you'll certainly enjoy this, at least for a bit like me. That being said, the combat is pretty bad and there is a lot of RNG involved in most aspects of the game. The worst offender though, is not only the fact that it's grindy as ♥♥♥♥, but it's grindy in a way that's just there to waste your time. Wanna dig a treasure up, that'll take 10-15 seconds. Wanna travel somewhere, that'll take 10-15 seconds. Everything you do has an unskippable animation or load attached to it and it becomes a real chore. Dragon Quest is one of my favorite franchises and I did enjoy most of this game, but as a completionist, this becomes an absolute nightmare.
I've been playing Dragon Quest/Warrior since 1, and this is a massive letdown that seems targeted at a younger audience but only accessible to older. If this were some other brand I wouldn't even have heard of the game. Tose has made some other great games like Dragon Quest Monsters, go play those instead. This feels more like a Squeenix cash grab.
So many QoL failures. The dispatches and crafting feel like they intentionally waste time, digging up treasures feels unnecessarily long, waiting for travel abilities to re-pop, various unskippables (especially the special treasures from sidequests), the absolutely persistent voices from the monsters, the 3 annoying alarms for rival invasions... Everything feels absolutely tone-deaf, even for a relatively "look what you found!" series like Dragon Quest that hypes stuff up.
Pushing gripes aside, most of the time spent was on finding crafting ingredients or, sadly, the failure that the main treasure hunting mechanic is. To give you an idea: When you're not in combat (which will get in the way of searching and the ally monster AI is braindead) you follow a compass to a nearby treasure, but the location difficulty has nothing to do with the value of what you dig up, will usually be next to a tree or something, and you can accident across it while going in the general direction and having a shiny spot scream at you from quite a few steps away. And you do this, walking around, occasionally riding, for potentially hundreds of hours to get all of the different treasures, every step feeling like a chore.
And the ally AI... they will walk through lava, poison, stand in AoEs, and basically just go berserk on the enemy, and maybe accidentally heal themselves or teammates every so often when they notice.
And then there's the story that was just thrown together to fit the game into the series. I don't want to go into that.
I can't even recommend this to fans.
This is more a neutral review.
The game is overall pretty nice and collection treasures and exploring the huge maps is fantastic and a lot of fun.
The story is very basic but ok, visuals are nice, sound ok the same DQ soundtrack you have for every game.
BUT the biggest problem are that this game is pretty much abandoned and some achievments are bugged.
For example I am not able to get "Teachers Pet" even if I finished all quests for Cpt. Levanter. Also after you got around 700 treasures it will be hard to get the last ones I would expect 120-160h to get all 777 which is way to much and repetetiv.
Also one achievment were you have to accumulate 99.999.999 Gold is nearly impossible because it would take 30h+ to grind.
So overall if you just want to play you will take for the full story 20-30h+10h for every content after the finale.
So... The game is kinda fun. I love the Treasure hunt part.
What i really dont like is the lack of combat mechanics.
You have a standard attack combo that you use over.... and over.... and over until the end of the game.
Okay you can use a special attack but to fill the special bar... gues what. Yeah you have to attack over and over and over.
I played through the game and thats basically the reason why i just couldnt find myself going for 100%.
The Monster catching, team building and treasure hunting is quite fun tho.
If you are thinking about buying it keep in mind that the combat just isnt that deep.
I would wait for a discount.
Pleasantly surprised by how much I'm enjoying this game. I am a huge dragon quest fan. Shame that we couldn't get as many monsters as Dragon Quest Monsters the Dark Prince, but I realise that's a lot more designing cost.
This game can be played in VR with the UEVR mod too. I saw a UEVR demo on youtube and knew I better try it. UEVR runs great and adds a fantastic level of enjoyment to it.
PS: Hey Square Enix... Can we get a game like "World of Dragon Quest" where we can play with or without the UEVR mod? Pretty please? With all the elements of Dark Prince and Treasures into one game? That would be rad.

I am a fan of the Dragon Quest universe and I'm happy to say this was an amazing addition to it. I love the toony style of this series as well as all the monster designs that Toriyama employs here. This is one of the best action JRPGs I've ever played.

If you like a good RPG with loot, hack and slash game play and collectible monsters this game is for you. I would say if your a dragon quest builders fan pick this one up for sure it is real time combat so no turn based. Strong 8/10 on this one go give it a shot!

Dragon Quest Treasures offers a laid-back, treasure-hunting loop that feels both familiar and refreshing. You hop into various regions, dig up hidden valuables, then haul your findings back to the base to bask in the gleam of your ever-growing hoard. It’s intentionally simple—there’s not a huge amount of complexity in combat or mechanics—but that’s part of its charm. You can drop in for quick sessions, make some progress, then step away without feeling pressured.
Of course, that same simplicity may wear thin if you settle in for marathon play. The combat leans heavily on basic mechanics and doesn’t demand much in the way of strategy; it isn't the most bare-bones combat ive seen but it isn't quite on the level of the mainline Dragon Quest games. Still, I’ve found it enjoyable overall, thanks to its whimsical vibe and the steady sense of progression from uncovering new treasures.
Like many Dragon Quest spin-offs, Treasures rewards longtime fans with nods to classic characters and themes. It’s the kind of experience where you can appreciate all the references while forging ahead in your search for that elusive next find. I understand how it might not hold universal appeal—treasure-focused games aren’t exactly a dime a dozen—but the signature Dragon Quest aesthetic and polish make it stand out. Taken together, it’s a genuinely fun, if straightforward, adventure that’s easy to get lost in when you’re itching for a relaxing treasure hunt.

Thought I'd enjoy passing the time with this but the gameplay just feels like such a slog, vast empty spaces, awkward movement tech, unintuitive design (that to be far is pretty much expected with any dragon quest title, it was done this way 40 years ago so it has to be done that way now).
Ultimately I'm not enjoying playing it enough to continue. Maybe If I didn't have the backlog, or maybe I was younger (def feels like its attempting to draw in a younger crowd...while appealing to nostalgia from 40 year old games, which is a little conflicting) maybe I'd feel different about it but as it is I'd rather pass time with so many other games in my library or just continue trying other new things that have sat there for far too long.
Give it a skip, theres better Dragon quest monster type titles (though I'd also skip DQM3 the dark prince, its the worst in the series, even the gameboy one had more monsters and was more interesting in gameplay, check out the remakes on 3DS if you can). This can't quite decide what it wants to be and in the end just is a worse version of everything else it tries.
Takes a few hours to ramp up, but it shows itself to be far more than it lets on initially.
I love the different monster Forte and their usefulness in combat and exploration. The team put a lot of love into this game, and it shows. High jumping off of a Slime over a cliff to immediately start gliding with a Dracky in order to bypass very dangerous monsters had me grinning from ear to ear.
The gang base for your treasure crew is well thought out and more fun than it has any right to be. Glad this didn't stay stuck on the Switch because you can play it on Med-High settings on Steam Deck at 60fps no problem! Very few technical hiccups from what I have encountered.
One of my favorites that Ive gotten to play this year. A must for any Dragon Quest fan or anyone who enjoys a bit of Monster Hunter.

個人的にはドラクエ6の主人公とそっくりなので、しばらく、何番のDQだったけと？となることが多かった。
しかし、すぎやまこういちの音楽や鳥山明のデザインが効いていて、すばらしい作品でした。
Super fun.
Bought this game because I loved DQXI, knowing that the games were very loosely related and were otherwise, very different games. Sadly, this game just did not land for me. The whole gameplay loop with collecting treasure could’ve worked well, but the fact that you can only hold a maximum of 9 treasures at a time, and that the treasures you find are random, makes the whole game feel sluggish. The combat really isn’t much fun either since the majority of it is just waiting for your team of monsters to defeat foes for you, while you do have some impact in combat, there's not much you can do to speed it up.
There is still some level of charm here, but if you're not a fan of the gameplay after the first hour or two, it doesn’t change much from there. I'm still trying to work through it all, since the completionist in me doesn't want to completely give up on this game yet, but I don’t feel like I can really recommend this game to anyone.

I love DQ and have played many of their games.
But this one bored me so much I gave up playing. It could have been a good game - but the combat system is terrible and every battle felt the same.

Super chill game. Has all of Dragon Quest's charm but you're basically just hunting for treasure. Very nostalgic for veteran DQ players as all treasture items are from past DQ games.
A true completionist's trial.
Casual players will be fine running through the story and a good chunk of content but people who 100% will have their mental fortitude greatly tested.
All 777 treasures are RNG, finding each one does not remove them from the loot pool because you can find duplicates. Every time you pick up a treasure you can only see it's silhouette and type so you have to keep a spreadsheet on hand of every treasure you are still missing. You can only carry up to about 10 treasures per outing before returning to base. Your monsters can potentially drop their treasure every tick of damage requiring it to be picked back up. The worst RNG I have ever seen with even more handicaps to make it worse.
Furthermore there's plenty of annoying sidequests that are ALSO RNG reliant.
THEN even after you manage to do everything you still have to hit gold cap which is one of the most tedious mundane grinds I have ever endured. Gold Golems, a lot of them, and a lot of save & loading.
I'd rather 100% a 200 hour long JRPG WITH MISSABLES than the 90 something hours I spent to 100% this collectathon.

This is very much a game for the Dragon Quest diehards but as someone who very much is in that camp, this put a big smile on my face constantly while playing. The gameplay loop revolves around setting out from your hideout to explore various floating islands to find treasures based on items/characters from previous Dragon Quest games. You'll glide, ride monsters, and climb around various biomes filled with tons of trinkets and monsters littered all over. The ability to expand your moveset by taming monsters is a nice touch but the pool of monsters is rather small once you notice how many times they repeat them with a palette swap. The story and dialogue is purely kids stuff but to me the wholesome energy it brought was an asset and not a fault. I'd say if some simple exploring and action combat in the cute world of Dragon Quest sounds fun to you, give it a try!

Addicting if you are a collector. Annoying you can not bring all forte's (creature abilities) with you that you need. Story plays in about 30 hours (endboss lvl 40) but when you are collector, you are going to put a lot more time in this
"Dragon Quest Treasures" est une belle trouvaille dans l'univers des jeux d'aventure et de la série Dragon Quest. Dès les premiers instants, les joueurs sont plongés dans une belle aventure. Devant d'abord s'échapper d'un bateau pirate (faisant office de tutoriel) pour finir dans un monde magnifique, rendu vivant par de beaux graphismes et une superbe direction artistique. Les paysages variés sur fond des musiques iconiques de la série raviront les fans de la série.
Les musiques iconiques de "Dragon Quest" sont au rendez-vous, contribuant grandement à l'immersion. Chaque mélodie résonne avec l'âme de la série, suscitant l'envie irrésistible d'explorer chaque recoin du monde et de découvrir tous ses secrets.
L'aventure elle-même est une véritable épopée, avec des quêtes captivantes et une jouabilité fluide qui maintiennent l'intérêt du joueur tout au long du jeu (même si on est plus sur de l'action que du RPG). Cependant, il y a quelques défauts à noter. Le mode multijoueur est plutôt anecdotique et ne parvient pas à ajouter une valeur significative à l'expérience globale. De plus, la nature aléatoire des trésors peut parfois être frustrante, car il n'est pas rare de trouver des doublons, ce qui peut légèrement ternir l'excitation de la chasse au trésor et donner aussi l'impression d'une progression très lente (surtout sur la fin). Puis les boss se ressemblent un peu trop excepter le dernier (que je ne spoilerai pas même si il fait appels aux autres boss vu plus tôt se qui devient d'autant plus répétitif)
Avec ces inconvénients de doublons, j'ai eu énormément de chance de pouvoir terminer "Dragon Quest Treasures" à 100% en moins de 90 heures de jeu (j'ai vu qu'en moyenne le joueurs mettaient plus de 100 h pour tout avoir). Mais on est pas obligé de faire le 100% et le jeu propose quand même une très bonne durée de vie.
En résumé, "Dragon Quest Treasures" est un très bon jeu que les fan de la série ou de jeu d'aventure ne devrait pas manquer. Ils est un bon spinoff tel les ''Dragon Quest Builders'' même si il apporte une approche différente.

macht wirklich spaß. man sieht immer wieder auch bezüge von anderen teilen von Dragon Quest. Kampfsystem find ich in Ordnung (man selbst mit bis zu 3 Monster,welche eigenständig kämpfen. der eigene Limitier steigt bei Angriffen und man kann davon 3 stacks sammeln und bei aktivierung spezialangriff mit einem monster machen oder sich selbst verstärken)
man kann im nahkampf kämpfen oder über munition (welche man kauft oder selbst herstellt) im fernkampf aktiv agieren oder eigene monster supporten.
es gibt 5 verschiedene monsterskills die man unterwegs nutzen kann. man muss sich nicht explizit an pfade halten, sondern kann sich mit jumpskill zb auch im einen berg herum bewegen,sofern das gelände es zulässt.
optisch sieht es angenehm aus. man kann zwischen den beiden figuren männlich/weiblich im spiel nach belieben wechseln.
schwierigkeit ist okay. nicht zu anspruchsvoll,aber mit genug skill kann man auch deutlich höher levelige monster herausfordern.
andere monster schließen sich per glück/zufall von selbst an,oder man versucht sie mittels spezialmunition anzufreunden und in der eigenen basis muss man nur mittels ressourcen die anwerbekosten zahlen und kann dann die monster nach belieben ins team wechseln.
es gibt viele rezeppte zu sammeln für essensgerichte oder munition fürs selbst herstellen.
gelegentlich wird man unterwegs von anderen teams angegriffen und diese zu besiegen droppen oftmals nützlichen dinge oder man verteidigt auch mal seine basis und der wert der eigenen schätze steigt kann.
bewegung auf der karte läuft in erster linie über ein inselsystem,wo man jeweils nur 1 ankunftsstation hat und weitere freischalten kann und dann auf den inseln frei bewegen.
hab eigentlich nichts negatives auszusetzen.
höchstens nur noch mehr content oder was in richtung koop und etwas mit noch höheren anspruchslevel (aber ich ahb das game auch noch nicht komplett durch)
langweilig ist es noch nicht und das obwohl ich eigentlich sonst nur online multiplayer games zocke.
fazit: definitiv eine empfehlung von mir für das spiel
was ich dennoch negativ beurteilen würde. dass das game keinen anhaltenden spielspaß hat. das spielen selbst ist cool, aber wenn es durch hat.dann ist boring AF. gibt einem 0 anreize weiter zu spielen.
It's on a pretty "casual" end of scale for a DQ franchise game, but it's pretty fun, and if you are a completionist, it will have hours of playability. The variation of monsters are a bit lacking, but there are plenty of treasures to hunt for, which is the whole point of this game.
The main quest is only short.

- Lots of things (treasure, monsters, materials) to collect
- Cute and simple writing. (Don't get this if you want a super immersive story)
- Casual and simple RPG mechanics (This was great for me I have been playing too many Souls-likes and coop action games (games that require a lot of focus)
- Great sense of progression
- Simple map design is delightful, world still feels large
- Cartoony 3d and colorful graphics feel like WoW
Cons:
- Some game systems are a little too simple like the Homebase Shop, restaurant and pellet smith. You do quests to unlock them, but was disapointed when they were just dialogue menus.
- Pretty cookie-cutter movement and you can tell this game's development cycle was pretty short. Easy to look past this as the game gives you a lot to do though

I'm gonna start off this review by saying I don't give a ♥♥♥♥ about the DQ series outside of respecting it for being a legacy series. I hate turn based combat so I could never get into them. However, if you, like me, have a loot goblin brain, then you will definitely enjoy this game. Collecting treasures and seeing your funny gold numbers go up is super fun. The game does get stale rather quickly, but if you just wanna play a bit here and there for the loot then it's a great time.
Combat is still trash (though I prefer it to a turn based style) and you have very few options open to you. Your attacks are stiff and feel unnatural. The slingshot is the only viable method of attack. I really enjoy recruiting monsters and getting medals and hoping for the rainbow rarity, but getting it for medals is really hard, and getting it for monsters means it'll take you hours of grinding to find the materials you need to recruit them.
I think that the game would be a lot more fun if you could attack with your monsters manually in battle kinda like Spectrobes. But implemented better. I'm around level 37 I think right now and I still do ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ for damage with the dagger, so maybe having some sort of upgrade system for that would be nice. Also removing the material grinding aspect would be ideal since it's already grindy just to get monsters to the recruit station. Anyhow, if you just play the game for the loot elements then it doesn't matter too much.
It's a great Dragon Quest spin-off - nothing will beat Dragon Quest Builders 2 for me but this is in a similar vein, except with treasure hunting instead of building. Worth getting!

Dragon Quest Treasures aurait pu être un petit joyau mais il demeurera dans l’ombre des précédents opus. Grâce à ses mécaniques de collecte, de domptage et de crafting efficaces, le spin-off aurait pu me rendre totalement accro. L’exploration est généreuse, prenante, mais les allers-retours rébarbatifs, l’absence de voyage rapide, le système de combat d’une pauvreté risible et la technique vacillante auront raison des plus patients.
Un jeu amusant, même captivant au début puis le potentiel découvert se retrouve gâché par une expérience de jeu désastreuse, un gameplay inutilement complexe et laborieux. Les quêtes et le scénario sont assez insipides et ne relancent pas du tout l'intérêt de l'aventure. C'est vraiment dommage car avec ses graphismes colorés et les bonnes idées de départ liées à la recherche de trésors, la collection de monstres et son ambiance très chaleureuse, j'avais envie d'aimer Dragon Quest Treasures. J'ai vraiment essayé d'y jouer et de l'apprécier mais j'ai fait une overdose ! >> 09/20

This game is really hard to recommend, on one hand It is really mindless and repetitive, but on the other hand looking for treasures and recruiting monsters is a fun mechanic.
I will list some of the positive about the game
- Finding treasures is a fun mechanic, specially If you are a fan of the series, since most treasures are references
- Recruiting the monsters from the Dragon Quest world is always a cool mechanic
Here are the negatives
- The story is bland
- You get a lot of duplicate treasure, which is a pain if you want to get the complete colection
- The whole game is kinda slow
Overall the game is fun, but bland and repetitive, get It if you are a fan of the series and want a more mindless adventure.
和小外甥一起玩，和金属史莱姆王，金属手怪以及卡缪保护者组队寻宝，很开心。小外甥很厉害用史莱姆高挑一些有挑战性的地形，跳上去后很有成就感。后期藏宝图的迷宫打邪恶的宝藏守护龙，杀他也很有成就感。打单一boss自己的浪漫绝招是最强的。角色携带正确的属性修正的银币也很重要。就是血石英很难获得也，遗忘的车站一直修不好。主线老早做完的说。值得推荐的亲子游戏。

This game is a beast of a collectathon and for those achievement hunters out there it’s a satisfying grind once it’s done.
The story, characters and gameplay are charming and very easy to follow. HOWEVER, trying to find those last treasures to finish the collection is ROUGH. There’s not enough balance on finding duplicates to new. I know that it is random for some treasures but spending 3.5 hours to find just one new piece is soulcrushing.
10/10 would recommend if you are a collection goblin like me and love the satisfaction of finishing a egregiously long hunt!

Dragon Quest Treasures evokes nostalgic memories of Nintendo DS titles with its bite-sized gameplay sessions and charming art style. The game has a refreshing twist on traditional RPG mechanics. Instead of engaging in direct combat, your character strategically buffs your party of three monsters and debuffs enemies with a variety of pellets from your weapon, a slingshot, adding depth to each encounter.
However, while the gameplay mechanics are novel, I couldn't overlook the game's tendency to feel repetitive, particularly in the later stages of my 40-hour journey. Additionally, the long cooldown on the monster forte, sprint, which allows you to mount one of your monsters, proved frustrating, extending travel times unnecessarily and disrupting the game's pacing.
Despite these drawbacks, I had fun digging up treasures and the unique leveling system tied to collecting treasures instead of just battling other monsters, kept me engaged throughout. While Dragon Quest Treasures may not be without its flaws, its nostalgic charm and innovative gameplay mechanics ultimately made for a fun experience. If you are a fan of spin-off games from the Dragon Quest series, I recommend giving this game a try.

Do you like Dragon Quest games? Do you like cutesy JRPGs? Do you like mind-numbing treasure hunting? Then you will love this game! Great graphics, incredible music, fun gameplay, and characters you may already know from other Dragon Quest games. What's best is that you don't need a crazy-powerful computer to run this.
A fairly simple action JRPG with a fun and addictive gameplay loop. Also has a hint of monster collecting as you'll recruit monsters and build teams to go along with you on your expeditions for treasure.
This is generally a very stress free experience and a good game to get lost in if life is kind of overwhelming at the moment. If you're looking for a cozy experience but don't want to play a game where you're managing a farm and want some adventure, this should work for you.
An offline game in the style of an MMO RPG for people of all ages to enjoy. A casual fun grind for us old folks and for kids it is a tutorial in advanced rpg gaming. I found it to be a lot of fun despite being largely repetitive, and that was exactly my thought about Dragon Warrior 1.
Encore un jeu où il est difficile de donner un avis tranché comme l'exige Steam car si le jeu est globalement sympa, il n'est pas dénoué de défauts qui pourraient déplaire à pas mal de monde.
Le jeu a dû être développé pour un public plutôt jeune (l'interface très simpliste, le gameplay assez basique, une intrique peu recherchée et bien en deçà d'un dragon quest)
Aspects positifs :
* Un univers familier, celui des dragons quest.
* Pas mal d'exploration où il faudra utiliser les capacités de vos monstres.
* La chasse aux trésors
Aspect neutre :
* Un gameplay sympathique mais limité : en combat, vos monstres combattent en auto et parfois, quand il y a beaucoup d'adversaires à l'écran, font un peu n'importe quoi). La puissance de votre héro en fera, souvent, l'élément faible de votre groupe. En exploration, vos monstres ont une spécialité (une parmis 5, une est peu utile (le scan qui permet de repérer des ressources dans un certain rayon), une moyenne (le sprint) : elle permet de gagner un peu de temps sur des voyages un peu long et les 3 autres totalement indispensables : le rebond, (sorte de super saut en hauteur), le planeur (pour rejoindre des endroits éloignés en planant) et la furtivité (seul moyen qui vous permet en fait de passer sous des entrées très étroites) ; et comme vous êtes limités à 3 monstres dans vos équipes, bah vous prenez un monstre des 3 spé les plus utiles. La lassitude se fait ressentir après quelques heures de jeu.
* un scénario faible et vraiment peu développé.
Aspects négatifs :
* trop peu de places pour les Trésors, obligeant beaucoup d'aller retour à la base et quand vous avez des trésors, vous ne pouvez utiliser les "Retour à la base" sans perdre vos trésors, cela ne vous laisse que 2 choix : les ailes de retour, un consommable à la quantité limité (donné par quelques quêtes peu nombreuses) ou de rejoindre une gare que vous avez débloqué (certaines vont nécessiter pas mal d'ingrédients et conditions) et ceci peut être parfois long de rejoindre.
* La sauvegarde unique : ce n'est pas possible de sortir en 2023, un jeu avec ce choix ; j'aurais apprécié au moins 3 sauvegardes.
* les monstres "spéciaux" (rubis, jade, métal) qui fuient trop vite à votre vue et qui se déplacent plus vite que vous ou vos monstres et ne vous laissent pas vraiment le temps de les affronter pour récupérer leurs récompenses.
* Des monstres qui font parfois des dégâts absurdes (plus que certains bosses)
En gros, c'est un jeu sympa mais plutôt destiné à un public jeune (moins de 12 ans) ou un public peu critique.
This game is a chill treasure hunting game. I am a sucker for looting and random treasure and this game is full of it. The voices are fun and its a good time. Sure, the graphics aren't insane like DQXI but don't let that stop you from trying this game out.

If you've played Dragon Quest XI, you'll be playing Erik's childhood with his sister in this game.
Game runs really smoothly, musics are the classical Dragon Quest ones, pretty to look at. Basically everything beside gameplay and story is great.
Your main purpose is to collect treasures and explore land to find treasure and tame monsters. Sounds fun but it quickly get utterly boring. The gameplay loop is incredibly repetitive. Usually i don't mind repetitive gameplay if it's rewarding and/or fun but it's not the case here. I stopped the game after 11 hours and don't see myself going for at least 15 more knowing what's ahead.
Basically, you manage monster ( up to 3 in your team), you play the support role healing them (you barely do any damage) but they use their mana points so fast and in useless manner that they run out of mana points very quick.
Anyway, they tell you when you're close to a treasure, you dig to find the treasure, you bring it back.
With the more treasure brought back, you can send teams to go collect things, build stores in your base, etc... Nothing incredible though.
You level up but your monsters don't get any new skill, spells or anything they just hit harder.
Fights are just a mess where melees hit whereas they're too far away and caster cast when the mobs are already dead, not compelling whatsoever.
I love Dragon Quest games, but this one is not bad per se but just really boring. Seems like there is a lot to do but it's just all the same with different coating.
