Existe um polo sobre games de musicas que acabaram passando sua época.
Guitar hero e os de cantar acabaram ficando para traz e hoje em dia são lendas.
Motivos? como pegar uma musica e torna-la algo que toda comunidade goste. Agradar todos é difícil.
Mas tiro o chapéu para esse indie, Double Kick heroes conseguiu trazer de volta a musica e colocar como ingrediente zumbis.

Весьма неоднозначное впечатление от игры. С одной стороны мне нравится тяжёлая музыка, пиксельные игры и что-то типа Gyitar Hero, а с другой стороны почему-то это не сработало. Хотя причины не такие уж и загадочные.

Конечно, лайк за визуальный стиль, за отсылки и узнаваемых персонажей, базирующихся на реальных звёздах жанра, музыка в принципе тоже не плохая, юморочек. Но вот управление... Это бич этой игры. В это совершенно неудобно играть как на клавиатуре, так и на геймпаде. В случае с последним я вообще не понимаю как можно играть на последних уровнях сюжета и уж тем более на высокой сложности. Если на клаве настроить под себя, то становится более-менее сносно. Но когда на средней сложности тебе предлагают играть в ритм+добавляются "ноты" отвечающие за спец.удары, да ещё и автомобилем надо управлять вверх-вниз, то начинается жёсткая каша. Как некоторые говорили, не зря в подобных играх ноты бегут вертикально сверху вниз, а не в бок - так на много удобнее и в плане управление и для глаз. Возможно, кому-то и ок, но для меня это стало критических недостатком. В итоге доиграл на лёгкой сложности, так как было жалко забрасывать.

P.S. люди, которые прошли игру на максимальной сложности и собирали все ачивки, если вы смогли это, то может вам чем-то другим в жизни заняться? Ну типа это ж охренеть просто!

Five difficulties, yet a difficulty gap between 2(Hard Rock) and 3(Metal). Why? Your combo multiplier resets on every miss past the third difficulty, missing a note always means that you'll lose a life if the beat mapping doesn't give you enough grenades or snipes; all your damage is based on your combo. The only differences are the number of "tracks" you play. Even in the lowest difficulty, you are expected to be able to hit 200 bpm quarter notes, since they are unchanged.

There are some songs that are mapped in a way that you can win even if you ignore the special note tracks (Red and Purple), and just focus on Yellow, because that's where most of the damage output comes from anyway. Building a combo to upgrade your damage to max takes time, and the more punishing when you miss on higher multipliers.

If you want to make the highest difficulty trivially easy, just set your music partition speed to 0.5x, the timing window of hits scales with it, you can get away hitting 200ms away. Likewise, set it to 2x and you barely have 50ms to hit or you'll miss.

In truth, only two difficulties exist; easy(rock, hard rock) and hard(metal, violence, extreme). This game has issues with difficulty design; I don't mind it, but its hard to recommend.

The End of the World Never Sounded So Metal!

This rhythm-based shoot-em-up is a unique blend of side-scrolling action and rhythm mechanics, tied together by a glorious tribute to heavy metal culture. It’s loud, proud, and surprisingly complex depending on the difficulty you play on.

At its core, Double Kick Heroes is a rhythm game, but it layers in elements from the shoot-em-up genre in a way that feels both novel and occasionally overwhelming. You control a band fleeing the apocalypse in a weaponized Cadillac, shooting down zombies, mutants, and other monstrosities by hitting notes in time with the music.

Each successful beat triggers gunfire, and depending on which lane you’re firing on, you’ll use different weapons. The challenge ramps up as more instruments are introduced and patterns become denser. Later stages introduce dodging mechanics too, turning songs into intense multitasking gauntlets.

The rhythm timing is tight, and the game rewards precision. However, on higher difficulties, it can become frustrating—not necessarily because of bad design, but because the input readability sometimes gets muddled by the chaos on-screen.

Good news for those with limited use of one hand: you only need one hand to play—just the arrow keys are required.

Ugh, it's so frustrating because the game is great, but locking it at 60 FPS, and with how laggy the UI feels when moving around it, it doesn't *feel* as good as it probably could. Otherwise, though; it's a pretty solid game for sure. Definitely a lot of fun. Wish it had MIDI support built-in so I could just use my TD-17 on it, but I guess that's a lot of work. Still would recommend if you don't mind taking the time to calibrate everything and get it running properly.

Very fun little rhythm game with a banging soundtrack

Story mode took me 2 hours to beat so a bit on the short side so i might recommend buying this on sale as 20 bucks for 2 hours is a bit expensive for what you get.

I thought this was going to be an easy Guitar Hero clone sense there's only 2 notes. Until i started playing it and little did i know that not only do i have to hit notes but i also have to control when the shots come from the top or bottom of the car and for boss stages you have to control the car all at the same time. 10/10 just needs a multiplayer score battler and an easier way to upload custom music.

É difícil recomendar um jogo no qual você precisa de uma média de 95% de acerto e um multiplicador constante de x8 para terminar uma fase (joguei a maior parte do jogo na dificuldade "Violence", a segunda mais difícil).

Como a maioria dos jogos de ritmo, ele sofre ao tentar adaptar as músicas para as várias dificuldades: o modos mais fáceis descaraterizam a música ao simplificar a batida. Dificuldades mais altas acabam tornando coisas simples (como uma virada de bateria em semicolcheias, por exemplo) algo que não se traduz tão bem para os controles do jogo.

Esse é um bom exemplo de um design que ganharia imensamente em realmente tratar o que é considerado "bônus" como um "a mais". Punir quem não faz um streak perfeito de notas em um jogo musical, na minha opinião, acaba por desfavorecer a diversão. Dado que o jogo exige uma precisão tão alta, o mínimo esperado seria ter um modo treino para treinar repetidamente as partes mais complexas e/ou viradas que acabam estragando a sequência de acertos... (algo que até onde sei está ausente na versão que joguei do jogo).

Sem dúvidas, Double Kick Heroes é muito desafiador e provavelmente é uma boa escolha pros fãs hardcores do gênero e/ou pra quem é fã do estilo musical tratado. Fora desse nicho, no entanto, eu não recomendaria.

Good music and pixel art. I'm not ashamed to say I must play with with Chill Mode and no Overheat. I'm grateful those were included, because otherwise I wouldn't be able to get through the third song. There's multiple difficulties with reasonable increases of complexity. But compared to rhythm games I'm used to like Guitar Hero, dropping a combo in this game is brutal.

Extremely difficult game. You need at least 80 to 90 percent accuracy to pass a level. The controls are the arrow keys. Even with 4 button controls, easy to lose. I will recommend it because of the charm, the famous bands reference, and the soundtrack is amazing. The editor didnt work for some reason and the leaderboard also didnt work for some reason. I mostly bought this on a big discount for the dlc, the 2 disc album. The game itself is pretty ridiculus. I cant beat the shark boss with has about 19 percent of players being able to do it. The shark boss also seems to have a time limit. Some songs you have to just smash those arrow keys as fast as you can for minutes. Whoever idea it was it make both the song and boss hard at the same time with management is crazy. I do think I got my money worth. I paid less than 3 dollars for it. I mostly just got it for the dlc so Im not sure if I would recommend it or not. Only if you like the music I guess.

Rhytme.

Désolé le jeu, j'aime bien ta direction artistique et ton ambiance déjantée, mais tu me fais trop mal aux doigts et à mon honneur. Derrière son esthétique métal apocalyptique se cache en fait un jeu de rythme avec un gameplay limité (2 boutons), une narration appuyée (mais pas folle) et surtout une difficulté impitoyable. J'avais commencé en difficulté moyenne, étant assez habitué au genre. Vers la fin du second chapitre, soit environ 1h30 de jeu, j'ai commencé à déchanter et à recommencer en boucle les niveaux. Arrivé au début du chapitre 3, j'ai baissé d'un cran la difficulté tellement ça devient difficile. Sauf que... j'ai pas réussi à progresser, même comme ça.

En fait, les boutons contrôlent la caisse clair pour A, et la grosse caisse avec RB et RT. Facile me direz-vous ! Sauf que là on a affaire à du gros métal qui bourre la double grosse caisse, les demi-silences et les contre-temps à foison. Pour moi c'est juste impossible de suivre les morceaux sans avoir envie de m'arracher les cheveux.

太可惜了，美术跟音乐都很好，但玩久了有点单调，不是简单，有难度的，但单调。只有crtl以及← →，有时候打boss需要观察boss的移动位置，但上下分屏做得很割裂，看着下面的节奏点的时候完全无暇顾及上屏，那美术也白做了。

As a big rhythm game enjoyer liking to see spins on the genre, this is an unfortunate letdown.
having tried the game on the hardest difficulty, it quickly started to show some glaring issues with the game that made the it not as enjoyable as it could be.

to make it short, you run away from zombies, animals, and other stuff using the band's car and the power of metal to kill them off, said car being very fragile and can only take 3 hits before the song results in a fail.
the charts have 3 dinstinct notes (only tied to highest difficulty, lower ones have 2 or even), sniper at the top, grenades at middle, and guns at bottom which is the bread and butter of your damage.
-the first issue showing quickly is that the grenade and sniper shots are aimed seemingly randomly on the area, sometimes avoiding the nearest enemies to the car.
-the car moving on its own up and down making the guns sometimes miss on enemies near the top and bottom
-gun damage is tied to your multiplier (which only breaks if you miss on the gun notes) 1-4 being standard gun, 4-7 a shotgun, then 8 being a grenade launcher, the combo climbs very slowly between 6 and 8 making any single miss extremely punishable
-the difficulty ramped up way too quickly and is way too high, i think having a constant 90%+ score is pretty good, and yet the first boss still killed me with more than a third of its life, and then after the first boss the enemy waves are suddenly huge and caught up way too fast
-the charts also look pretty poorly made, some notes not placed in a constant beat looks bad and a bit confusing when there's a lot to focus on

also the online functions are dead, leaderboard is broken and there's barely anything on the created charts (you also need to download the .mp3 of the musics on there which is pretty annoying)

if there's one thing i can think of that can make the game better and more enjoyable, it would be a mechanic like Guitar Hero's star power, making the combo go up faster, better weapons or a bomb to get rid of everything on screen, but the game being abandonned it'll be left in this poor state

I adore this game. The OST is amazing and the characters are well written. The world and overall theming are funny, absurdist, and over the top in all the right ways. But, most importantly the game has the perfect balance of allowing you to play on a pretty easy mode, all the way to hard. And I mean HARD. You aren't playing one instrument, you are playing all of them, and driving. WILD.

Absolutely pick this up. Easiest $20 I've ever spent.

Great concept for a rhythm game. The art style and world design is fresh and keeps things interesting. The music is fantastic and the rhythm game play is spot on. It has a wide range of difficulties which helps make it accessible for a wide range of skill levels. The characters are juvenile and the story doesn't take itself seriously, but that's part of the charm. It's very short too for the price, but rhythm fans should get a lot of replayability out of this one.

习惯了下落式，这个不能调速很难受，打击感也不行。音乐没多少记忆点，可能更适合喜欢太鼓达人那种横向式的。最大的硬伤还是手感，就很奇怪明明如此有节奏的bgm但我觉得设计的鼓点都没在点子上？
上下移动又总是和左右鼓点打架，我真的怀疑制作团队有没有自己打打试试啊……真的很别扭。
为了等卡挂完，硬生生打完了4-5，不愿再打开。

더블킥히어로즈는, 좀비들이 만연하는 세상에서, 메탈밴드가 좀비들을 죽이면서 이곳저곳 돌아다니면서 라이브를 하는 내용의 리듬게임+슈팅 장르가 합쳐진 게임이다.

총 6챕터로 이루어져있고, 각 챕터마다 숨겨진 스테이지를 해금할 수 있는데, 그 숨겨진 스테이지를 클리어하면 아이템을 얻을 수 있다. 이 아이템들은 나중에 진엔딩을 해금하는데 중요한 키포인트가 된다.

전체적으로 봤을 때는 꽤 나쁘지 않은 게임이라고 생각한다. 게임의 방식은 위에 적었듯이, 리듬게임 + 슈팅인데 태고의달인형식의 리듬게임을 통해서 공격을 하면서 무기를 업그레이드하며 다른 특수 무기들을 공격하는 방식이다. 이러한 공격방식을 가지고 있기 때문에 조금 정신 사나울 수 있는데, 화면의 아래쪽에는 노트를 칠 수 있게 패턴맵이나오고 위에는 좀비들이 달려오는데 패턴맵을 치면서 좀비들이 어느방향으로 오는지 확인하며 공격을 해야하기 때문에 생각보다 집중력을 요구한다. 심지어 보스전에는 차량까지 이동시켜가며 플레이를 해야하기 때문에 보스전은 조금 더 뇌가 말랑말랑해짐을 느낄 수 있다.

게임의 방식은 태고의달인형식이라고 적어놨는데, 스팀에서는 뮤즈대쉬라는 리듬게임이 살짝 비슷하다고 할 수 있겠다. 기본적으로는 2버튼방식의 게임이지만 난이도가 올라갈수록 사용하는 버튼들이 많아진다. 하드록 부터는 수류탄이 등장하며, 더 높은난이도에서는 저격총이 나오기 때문에 살짝 햇갈릴 수도 있다.
특히나 극한 난이도로 가게되면, 노트 하나를 놓칠 때 마다 콤보수가 초기화 되기 때문에, 상당히 정확하게 패턴을 입력하는 연습들이 필요하다. 물론 스토리모드를 처음 부터 극한으로 맟추고, 보스 이전 스테이지에서 어느정도 키 연습을 하면 누구나 충분히 꺨 수 있을 거라고 생각한다. 그도 그럴게, 이 게임은 리듬게임의 요소를 담고 있긴 하지만, 결국 판정이아니라 얼마나 좀비들을 많이 잡았냐가 중요하기 때문이다. 물론 극한 난이도에서 보스전을 잡으려면 판정이 꽤 중요하게 작용되지만, 저격총이나 수류탄의 도움을 받으면 어느정도 콤보가 초기화되도 버티는 것이 가능하다.

본인은 처음에 스팀덱으로 플레이하다가 너무 불편해서 모니터 앞에 앉아서 키보드로 플레이를 했는데, 개인적으로는 키보드가 더 편했던 것 같다. (스팀덱은 안그래도 빠르게 노트를 입력하기에는 무거워서 손에 피로감이 느껴지기도 하기 때문에...)

이며 저격총은 빠른 노트가 나오지 않기 때문에 스페이스바 하나로도 충분하였으며, 총이나 수류탄은 후반부로 갈수록 키 교차사용이 많이 필요하기 때문에 양손을 다 사용할 수 있도록 연습하는 것이 중요하다.

전체적인 음악 장르가 또 메탈이다보니 호불호가 심히 갈릴 수 있다. 그렇기때문에, 유튜브 같은 곳에서 사용되는 음악이 어떤장르들의 음악인지 들어보고 결정하는 것도 중요할 것 같다. 아무래도 메탈이라는 장르가 요새는 매니악한 장르이기도 하다보니...

결론적으로, 꽤 나쁘지 않은 태고형 리듬게임임에는 분명하다. 물론 슈팅게임이 결합되어있어 처음에 특히 고렙곡으로 바로 시작을 하면 패턴맵을 보랴 좀비들 보랴 정신이 없겠지만 하다보면 익숙해질 것이고 또 치는 맛이 있기 때문에 꽤 재밌게 플레이를 하였다. 게다가 위에는 적지 않았지만, 스토리가 B급이긴 한데 B급 특유의 병맛도 있고, 번역의 현지화가 너무나도 미쳐버린 퀄리티라(정말 잘 됬다는 의미) 스토리보는 맛도 있을 것이다. (게임 분위기 상 욕이 많이 나온다....ㅡㅡ )

Pretty good rhythm game, especially for metalheads. I really liked how many songs this game has to offer across all its 4 modes, though 2 of them are the same basically (arcade and story).

As I mentioned, this game does have story but I skipped 99% of it and from the little I read it's nothing to crave for. What struck me is the overall difficulty, it has to be one of the hardest rhythm games I ever played. However, there are a few ways in the settings how to make the game feel like a walk in the park (besides switching the difficulty) so it's not all that bad.

Other than that, I don't have many complaints, it just sucks the servers don't work anymore which means neither the leaderboards or the neat map editor, where you could share your own maps with the community, work.

Its OK, I guess, about 6/10?

Since I don't know the tracks, I spend 99% of it looking at the 'tabs', and even on Metal difficulty some of them are brutal to go through. I couldn't get the first boss down in time with 99.50% hit accuracy on previous stages - so I had to lower the difficulty.
Not that what's on top of the screen matters much anyway - its basically a cool looking animation, and while you have to choose which cannon to fire by choosing which kick drum to hit, you can basically just alternate most of the time and be OK with it.

In its highest difficulty, you get to play three tracks at the same time - kicks, snare and cymbals. I believe, you're supposed to keep replaying game over and over until you memorize each song and each track. So far I've come to a point where I got to handle kicks and snares, and its kind of fun, honestly!

The custom songs system is pretty cool too, basically you can create or download a pattern, and then you just need to provide MP3 to your song.

Honestly if this game would have a Spotify integration - I'd immediately raise score for 1-2 points.

Final complaint, but a fair one for a rhythm game: calibration system should be a bit simpler, similar to what Hellsinger has. Rather than me manually inputting the milliseconds to match the blip, just let me tap the thing that I see or hear, and calculate this by yourself.

UPDATE 1: Changing my review to positive with a bit of a CAVEAT. This is going to be a long review so only read if you’re serious about purchasing the game as a NEW PLAYER. I don’t believe this review applies to veterans of rhythm games.

UPDATE 2: Added extra notes mainly for new players (and the devs if they even read this stuff).

TLDR: If you’re new to rhythm games and are scared that this game will be way too hard for you, don’t be. The game gives you all the tools you need to get better at it even if some of these options are a bit obscure. The music is superb, the game modes are awesome and it’s very forgiving in many aspects. It’s a well-made game overall but I do have some serious gripes which I get into in my longer review.

I’m going to begin by explaining my initial experience going from Rock to Hard Rock mode and the reason why I gave it a negative review at first.

I'm new to rhythm games. In fact this is my very first one. So I started in Rock mode as all noobs ought to. The game opened just fine. They start me off with the drums, gave me a nice tutorial, then they took the tricycle wheels off and away I went, and it was a damn blast to play. Challenging but very fun.

The issue is (and what almost broke the experience for me) was when I had beaten Rock mode and jumped into the next difficulty, Hard Rock. It starts out the same exact way as Rock mode so I'm thinking okay all is well, a little bit more difficult, okay having fun again.... then Stage 2-2 happened. In this stage, out of nowhere, they throw at you a new button. The snare button or grenades.

This new button may seem trivial to hardcore rhythm gamers but for noobs like me I had no idea how to incorporate it into my finger flow. I was already using two hands for the left and right guns so where the hell do I add a third button?

Now this would have been fine if A. They introduced the button in the beginning of the campaign with a tutorial just like they did in Rock mode and B. Started me off on Stage 1-1 so I can readjust my finger placement and slowly work the new button into my flow.

I was extremely frustrated and at this point wrote a negative review because I went from having a good flow to jumbling my fingers everywhere. Stage 2-2 is not an easy stage for beginners to start using this new mechanic. So anyway I whined and complained and ranted but I'm a Completionist, so I blew off my steam and gave the game another shot.

I had to drop using the controller because it ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sucked and opted to use the keyboard which was infinitely better than the controller for me. Once that was done, I needed to figure out a way to practice.

At first I thought that there was no practice mode, but there IS. CHILL MODE. In this mode you can turn off the zombies and just work with the music, then I needed to slow things down a bit. You can’t slow the music down but you CAN slow the musical bar so that you can hit the notes easier.

These two things alone not only helped me get better in a big way but it improved the fun I had with this game and then the addiction set in. I wanted to play more and more and I did. Every stage in fact. This is aided tremendously by the musical score which is just incredible. More on that later.

Eventually I worked my way up to Violence mode, and oddly enough this mode had the exact thing I wanted for Hard Rock mode. The mode opens with a tutorial for this second button, same as the drums. I sat there thinking what the hell, why didn’t you DO THIS EARLIER!!?

So then I worked my way through Violence (it was tough as nails) and landed myself in Extreme and guess what? They add a FOURTH frickin’ button. The sniper, which is FINE okay but I mean you add a new button on the hardest difficulty? Ugh…

This is the only real issue I had with this game. The arrangement of the difficulties. The fix for me is quite simple even, just put a tutorial in Hard Rock mode for grenade button and start us off on stage 1-1.

In Metal mode give us a tutorial for the sniper rifle and start us off on stage 1-1. Then for Violence and Extreme feel free to increase the difficulty in whatever various ways you may like.

That’s it. May seem trivial but it seriously almost ruined my experience and just might do so for a new player that doesn’t have the patience that I do to get better at this game when they can just play another one.

Don’t increase the difficulty by adding new buttons on top of heavily penalizing us for missing notes. Of course we’re going to miss notes. We need these buttons added earlier so we can practice and prepare for the harder difficulties.

Also yes some tracks are ridiculously hard and near impossible to achieve without being a pro level player. You will be able to get all the steam achievements (barely), but there are in-game achievements that are only available for professional drummers or anyone who uses a drum kit to play this game. If you're using your fingers you're screwed. It's not happening.

For example, to get one of the hardest achievements in the game, (Mobula Extreme), I had to straight up ignore the snares completely and focus on the drums and cymbals. Okay so I got it, but did it feel good to ignore one of the game's mechanics just to do so? No, but that's the thing. The game KNOWS its brutally hard so it throws us a bone every once in a while by not severely penalizing you for dropping the snares or cymbals focusing only on the double kicks.

Why exactly the devs thought it was a good idea to include songs that the average gamer couldn't do in a million years is beyond me. Funny thing is the game would be SO much better if songs with difficult note placement were included versus songs where you have to have the finger speed of the FLASH! (Mobula isn't such a bad offender here, but 66B6 and Gojira? Seriously though... great songs but what the ♥♥♥♥?)

If a sequel is in order please don't include these songs. I know super fast double kicking is a drumming staple but it is not fun to play in practice, especially with your FINGERS AND NOT A FRICKIN' DRUM STICK!!! The type of stuff serves as a barrier of entry for new players who veer away from this sort of thing.

Only other issue I had is sometimes when explosions happen the notes get all jumbled and I have to reset the run. However, I’m thinking that’s mostly because my computer is crap. Also the game crashes sometimes when you do multiple resets. Other than that everything else is perfect.

The music is FANTASTIC, some of the best metal I’ve heard in any video game (including Doom). It’s also very thematic and gradually changes in tone the deeper you get into the game, starting really chill then becoming darker and darker until you’re in death metal territory. It’s extremely well done.

The pixel art is fantastic! Loved the character designs and the diversity in the characters emphasizing that no matter you’re race and ethnicity, we all love and rock to Metal. This was great. Story is kinda dumb though but you can just ignore it by playing Arcade mode.

There’s even guest tracks that are all just so damn well done and gives you a break from all the Metal with a variety of different types of music. LOVED IT!

And the icing on the cake, the best mode in the game, the Fury Road mode which turns the game into a Rogue-like. This, in my opinion, is the future of this series. I would throw money at a full game that incorporates this mechanic into the main gameplay.

I couldn’t recommend this game more. I love all the features, am madly in love with the soundtrack and would happily throw money in for a sequel IF the issues I brought up are addressed, otherwise I'll pass on it. I just hope the next game is more inviting to new players and doesn't solely cater to hardcore ones. We all want to play.

Cool Guitar Hero like game but INSANELY difficult, even on "medium" difficulty, the game doesn't seem to be for casual players or friendly to people who can't "split" their hand movement. Music is nice and so is the art style, there's a lot of pop culture references in this, from video games to movies.

Warning! This game is extremely hard especially in higher difficulty.

I'm currently playing on "Metal" difficulty. I had to make my own custom button mapping just so I can get through the stages. Plus, you need to develop some muscle memory and get familiar with the songs.

With all that said. This game is highly addictive. It has good tracks and playing them is very satisfying.

A must buy for die hard rhythm game fans, especially if you enjoy metal!

Double kick heroes es un divertido e innovador juego de disparos, con una gráfica simple, se auto declara como el único juego de rock en que debes acabar con monstruos, zombis, vampiros, tiburones y muchos otros montando en el cadilac de la banda de rock. El juego es bastante especial, debes disparar al ritmo de la música como en la cripta del necrodancer, pero de algún modo trae recuerdos de guitar hero. A medida que avanzas la dificultad aumenta. He jugado tres horas y me entretenido mucho. En algunos niveles sólo disparas en otros además debes manejar. Está muy bien si lo compras en una oferta.

Overall, Double Kick Heroes is a good game. Not all tracks are bangers, but there is enough content here that made me want to fire up arcade mode to “perfect” my runs as best as I can. Those who really want to test their mettle can try Fury Road, a survival mode, though I am not sure who can get through over thirty tracks in one sitting!

Спустя целый год с момента когда я купил эту игру я наконец то смог пройти компанию на максимальной сложности. Именно поэтому я считаю что я наконец достоин того чтобы обозреть эту игру. А что о ней говорить, Жалею ли я о том что потратил на неё около 40 часов? Нет. Эта игра может и достаточно сырая с определённых сторон но она даёт уникальную вариацию ритм игр (по крайне мере я нигде не видел ритм-игру с такой же вариацией геймплея), в перемешку с НЕВЕРОЯТНОЙ сложностью которая заставит вас потеть, а ваши руки болеть так, будто вы сели за настоящую барабанную установку. Мне очень жаль что эта игра прошла мимо очень многих а её редактор не даёт такой свободы как другие ритм игры, но я ОЧЕНЬ сильно надеюсь что идеи и дух заложенную в игру смогут заново ожить в будущем в другом проекте.

It's a great concept with a great soundtrack, but it's sadly just not executed the best. Unoptimized, offset feels odd, and note snapping seems inconsistent. It also appears it may be locked to 60fps? That's not ok for any high skill cap rhythm game with scrolling notes in my opinion. For a casual player this could be a fun game to pass the time, but for a rhythm game veteran in the game's current state this just isn't it. Hopefully the game will improve in the future.

Double Kick Heroes es un interesante exponente en el campo de los videojuegos de ritmo.

Prácticamente combina un sistema de batalla con un sistema de aplasta el botón preciso dependiendo del ritmo.
Pero no es tan sencillo como parece. Su sistema es bastante modular teniendo la capacidad de que podamos crear nuestros propios niveles los cuales puedes subir a la Workshop.

Además tenemos el apartado artístico que es un pixelart muy reminiscente de ciertas novelas gráficas y con una calidad muy destacable. Incluso sus enemigos y escenarios son muy variados y peculiares.
También tiene muchos guiños al cine, música y videojuegos que pueden ser curiosos y entretenidos de ver.

Pero claro, el punto más importante es la música y claro que destaca muchísimo en ese campo.
Con una gran cantidad de canciones y varios niveles creados a partir de artistas invitados, hacen que tengamos un contenido principal de muy grande.

En fin, Double Kick Heroes es un excelente videojuego que merece la pena probar si son fans de los juegos ritmicos.

Qu'est ce que sa fait du bien d'entendre des musiques qu'on aime :D.

Ce jeu est vraiment impressionant y a rien a dire la dessu + j'aimerais tellement qui font une suite avec tellement de référence qui font plaisir et en HD si possible X) et aussi mettre d'autres musiques possible genre (AC/DC, System Of a Down, Night Wish, Epica, Nirvana et bien d'autres encore limite comme dans brutal legends ^^).

Je vous le conseil pour celles et ceux qui veulent le découvrir ou de le redécouvrir en tant que grand fan de rock et du metal ;).

Absolutely love the tracks, just wish I was better at the game. Even though I'm a metal-head and a musician, the 3rd difficulty level feels impossible, since I can't move my eyes around the screen to watch for enemies and keep up with the craziness. The game is a lot of fun though, I'll just never get into the high scores!

想了想还是给个好评吧，本身音乐加射击的元素非常有创意，但同时带来的是变态的难度，本手残党在故事模式都已经吃够苦头了，只能勉强保持霰弹模式，节拍一多手速完全就跟不上了，boss关要移动射击看的我眼睛都花了，但是背景bgm是真的带感！重金属真他妈的棒！

ngl i should've read more into the reviews, there's a big issue with this game and that's the fact that you have to follow the rhythm as well as keep track of where your shots are aimed at, both of which are in two different areas on the screen. i can't split my eyes for that, didn't expect gameplay to be that way.

it definitely has good style though and an excellent soundtrack. extra credit the devs for editing the 'user agreement' upon first download to just say 'You can't stop the metal \m/'. there's passion, but its gameplay isn't really good.

游戏的玩法就和名字中所描述的“鼓点”一样，是非常典型的节奏类音游玩法，与之相似的作品有万年跳票王的《Rhythm Doctor》（节奏医生）。本作在风格上和其他作品相比要更加金属，更加摇滚风，所以在节奏点的把控上其实本来是应该比较稳的，只不过就目前来看，音乐节奏和打丧尸的部分结合不够契合，缺少作为一个音乐节奏游戏该有的操作感。原本在一个以音乐节奏为主的游戏中，其核心部分应该是在编排谱曲和节奏点之间的和谐部分，这也确实是做到了，音乐是跟上了节奏[spoiler]（卢西奥：哦~跟上这节奏！）[/spoiler]，可丧尸们却没有点眼力见，依旧我行我素。可能是由于不同难度下丧尸们的刷新频率不同，有些时候会出现空鼓点或者空怪的情况，同时对应的左右按键也只是控制枪迪拉克车尾的左右射击，并不影响节奏上的判定。其实回过头来思考，双按键对应的鼓点设计可能也是出于无奈受制于音游题材本身，面对偶尔会出现的快节奏密集鼓点，双按键可能会更有效的缓解玩家手指上的压力。实际上为了能够将打僵尸的元素和音乐节奏结合，玩家如果能够保持在一关内多踩点而不失误的话，就能过提升枪械等级，手枪变来福，来福变加农，这能够迅速提升自己的武力。不过丧尸的出现并没有想象中带来更多的刺激感，更多的反而是在干扰下产生的紧张感，很多情况下玩家必须一方面注意丧尸们袭击的进度，另一方面保持关注鼓点的节奏不能失误，这对于一个需要把控节奏的游戏其实相当致命。除了故事模式以外，玩家还可以进入街机模式享受音乐的节奏，甚至是开启关卡编辑器自己成为制作人。

从画面上来看，游戏采用了像素的风格，原本让人以为是《Death Road To Canada》（加拿大死亡之路）的风格在融入了死亡金属摇滚后变的更加朋克了。看上去似乎是糙像素但在过场动画的演出中隐藏了很多细节内容，很多丧尸的动作在像素的加持下显得有些喜感，特别是某些鲨鱼怪物。音乐方面也已经在前文中提及了，这是一款金属摇滚风格的游戏，大部分的曲子都是在这样的熏陶下显得有些动感，只不过在国内这样不崇尚摇滚的大环境下应该是无法体会废土朋克的乐趣的。

音乐游戏似乎与PC平台八字不合。

不信您大可以去steam的商店界面亲自探索一番：当我们在数量惊人的“所有游戏”后的加上个“音乐”的范围标签后，这些游戏便尴尬地缩减到了三位数；而当我再加上节奏的标签后，其数量更是一下子锐减到了不到四百……考虑到这其中还掺着不少类似《Valiant Hearts: The Great War》和《Florence》这样只是原声带大赞的其他游戏，可见说“音乐游戏似乎与PC平台八字不合”已经是相当客气了。

然而我不太想，目前也没有能力探讨为何PC端如此缺乏对节奏游戏支持良好的硬件，只是想说在这样地前提下，《鼓点英雄（Double Kick Heroes）》那句“这是steam上唯一一款无敌摇滚金属节奏游戏”的广告语就显得有点儿科学，甚至可以说颇有吸引力了。

有点儿讽刺，《鼓点英雄》似乎同样不是一款血统纯正的节奏游戏，确切的说，它应该是一款关于与金属摇滚息息相关的节奏射击类游戏，因为和现实世界那些弱爆了的同行们相比，我们的主角乐队创造性地将各种武器与底鼓的双踩锤联系在了一起（物理），作为他们在这个世界末日里的求生的个性武器在一骑绝尘的“枪迪拉克”上与身后奔涌而至的怪物们奋战到底——不，这不是一场关于生存，希望，和与恶劣到极致的自然环境对抗的痛苦史诗，相反，在这游戏里，我们可以真切地感受到乐队的每一个成员似乎都乐在其中。

[b] 浪漫无害的废土之旅[/b]

中世纪的尼德兰思想家和神学家伊拉斯谟曾感慨道，对未谙兵事之人而言，战争无疑殊为浪漫，同样的话甚至不需要多做修改，就能用来形容不少死亡金属爱好者们钟情于“废土朋克”的特殊心态，这其中自然也包括《鼓点英雄》中的几名主角……

等下，这说法会不会有失偏颇？毕竟他们可是货真价实地在各种怪物、邪教成员和帮派分子的围追堵截下，一路聒噪着吉他贝斯键盘鼓点横穿了美利坚，并从欧洲一头扎进了地狱，直接用自己最擅长的手段和撒旦本人开战了。但只要您亲自进入游戏感受一番，一定会在片刻后发现这片废土究竟是怎样的“摇滚天堂”，它温柔到哪怕是文明已然崩溃也不愿打扰主角团体的忘我练习，以至于当他们信心十足登台亮相时才发现自己狂热粉丝们对大脑过于狂热的态度，只好中断演出登上座驾“枪迪拉克”开始逃亡之旅。

而当这段旅途正式开始后，上帝更是赐予了乱打乱撞的主角团体异乎寻常的幸运：缺乏补给了怎么办？当然是直接闯进不远处的养鸡场和军火库，在后备箱里装满嘎嘣脆的鸡肉和叮当作响的弹药，顺便干掉盘踞这里多年的怪物和邪教军队了；遇到居心叵测的其他人怎么办？嗯……热爱摇滚的怎么可能是坏人呢，无论是在自家大车库，州立监狱遗址，电玩城酒吧还是在北方小教堂，那些摇滚乐传奇教父可个顶个对主角团信任有加，连自己多年珍藏都会倾囊相送；不小心中招要变异了怎么办？去他的血清疫苗吧，当然是戴上耳机来上一段重金属轰炸了，保证“药”到病除，立竿见影……

所以说，这就是信仰的力量吗？如果是的话，这摇滚之神还真是给力，它不仅毫无保留地赐予了主角团体“废土朋克”中所有可能的劲爆与浪漫，也为他们的旅途剔除了所有丑恶，危险，甚至只是有些无聊的部分，其代价不过只是让这段完美旅程接近尾声时的那点儿波折显的有些刻意甚至矫情。

不过在我们的世界“摇滚之神”似乎并不这么灵验，因此无论是发烧感冒还是被丧尸咬伤了什么地方，都建议玩家第一时间前往诊所，医院，或是浣熊镇警察局向专业人士求助，再不济也能找到些志同道合朋友；而若您打算像主角团一样享受这末日废土独有的“快乐”，除了扪心自问自己是否足够虔诚幸运外，也许还要自己搞些大家伙，保证自己能随着节奏让子弹倾斜而出——至少不能逊色于“枪迪拉克”的神奇改装，您说是吧？

[b] 让“燥起来”逐步升级[/b]

正如前文所说，主角乐队创造性地将底鼓的双踩锤和枪连在了一起，其具体表现便是，当玩家在适当的节奏中按下RB或LB键时，便能成功发射一枚子弹，干掉身后穷准不舍的一名敌人。而更神奇的是，随着您连续精确地打出节奏，画面左边的升级进度便会逐渐累积，允许您将车载武器换成威力和攻击范围更大的霰弹枪甚至是榴弹发射器，消灭起敌人来自然效率倍增，不过更重要的是还有比这丧尸大军中绽放的金属烟火更能带动摇滚气氛的玩意儿吗？

当然有啦，如果您打算挑战自我，游戏中的乐谱的会变成更复杂的双轨甚至三轨，而除了单纯的底鼓鼓点外，您还需要注意在适当的时候敲下“军鼓”和“吊擦”——前者会累积进度让High起来了的队友祭出珍贵的手雷在丧尸群中炸出更漂亮的血花；后者则会让慢慢让队员拿出大杀器狙击枪，嗯……具体效果我就不是很清楚了，毕竟自己从来都没有成功触发过。

没办法，无论是游戏还是现实生活，想要玩转“三轨”都没那么轻松，况且游戏中某些关卡还需要们抬头关注下战斗确定射击的目标的优先级别或躲避BOSS的技能，要是没个几年时间踏踏实实地练习，硬着头皮前来挑战的结果自然会是在“上顾下盼”中惊慌失措，手忙脚乱地迎来了一系列高中低档的各种错误。

在现实世界里，如果不怕自己台上出糗倒也没什么，但在游戏《鼓点英雄》里，这失误带来惩罚可就严重多了，它势必会导致武器级别进度的中断（在高难度下甚至直接归零），大大影响“枪迪拉克”的输出能力，让漏网之鱼得以威胁队员（乐队成员）的生命安全；而如果玩家坚持乱搞乱敲，右侧的失误进度也会光速累计，直到最后“枪迪拉克”自己被炸成场上劲爆的焰火，之后在短暂的无敌中恶灵骑士般浴火重生——很摇滚范儿，但别忘了您可只有两辆备用车可以换乘，想玩儿得硬核还请量力而行。

反正我是决定不折磨自己，继续简单难度好了，虽说少了几分挑战自我的快乐，但这简单难度可同样满是恰到好处的设计：尽管游戏中的射击受到曲子节奏的严格限制，但制作组还是找到了最合适的时机加入射击点让玩家保持最合适的火力输出，既不会感到无聊，也不会在面对蜂拥而至的敌人时压力倍增；与此同时，尽管游戏需要玩家把控曲子的节奏，但由于实质上主唱键盘吉特贝斯都只是自顾自地奏着，本作音乐便有了与玩家水平无关的，流畅自如观赏性；而几场BOSS战虽说实在没什么新意，但也至少压迫感十足，那些BOSS的造型在高清像素风的演绎下少了几分狰狞却仍保留着鲜明的个性，着实让我印象深刻。

诚然，随着玩家对游戏机制愈发熟悉，“简单难度”也会愈发实至名归，也许差不多时候是挑战下更困难的“双轨”和“三轨”演奏了——当然选择权完全在您手里，毕竟不受外界因素影响，勇敢掌控自己命运的自由”才是摇滚的最本质的真谛吗不是？

[b] 致敬时空的巡回表演[/b]

说实话，我并不是很确定上文末尾提到的结论，因为我本身对摇滚乐知之甚少，非要说自己有什么对摇滚精神的独到见解更是会贻笑大方，因此在完成这几段文字时只好向身边的朋友们请教摇滚的真谛……然后就在不计其数的“滚蛋”和意义不明的一系列词汇里勉强总结出了叛逆之上，百无禁忌的自由，希望与坚持这样的关键词——您别说，虽然老生常谈，倒还真和《鼓点英雄》的气质相得益彰。

主角一行人是自由的，不只是因为他们可以开着“枪迪拉克”满世界乱跑，还因为他们不必在任何人面前卑躬屈膝：作为本作反派的德古拉伯爵乃至撒旦本尊自然无法阻碍主角一行人杀进地狱的决心，玛丽莲曼森这种流行教父没办法用自己致郁的理论影响到主角团体一丝一毫，反而会因为自己龟缩在车库里的消极被主角团体无情地嘲弄——这正是我个人最欣赏的一点，摇滚之下众生平等，即便是被流行文化捧在手心的摇滚巨星们在主角团面前也不过是个乐队主唱罢了，还很大概率和他们理念不合，该怼就怼，不必客气；只是在我本来无比笃定这一点后，杀进地狱的主角团却跪拜在了两位，似乎是某元祖人物面前，任其百般羞辱绝不还口，着实让我疑惑不解。也正常，我也完全搞不懂这游戏揭示的，我在维基上都找不到的摇滚乐细分，只能请真正热爱摇滚乐的朋友来指点迷津了……

同样的，玩家们也是自由的，不只是因为玩家在游戏中可以自由选择任何模式，任何难度，任何曲风体验游戏，还因为玩家们可以自由地吐槽制作组关卡设计屎一样让人难受，并秉承“我行我上”的经典原则打开“编辑器”创建并分享自己设计关卡，之后叫所有不喜欢它的玩家赶快滚蛋；不仅如此，您甚至可以让Elmobo遣词编曲的三十多首风格各异的摇滚金曲统统见鬼去，直接上传自己并游玩自己歌单里躺了半辈子的老朋友们——不管它在画风上与摇滚占不沾边，都会因为您这种叛逆至极的行为被打上“够摇滚范儿”的标签，我愿称其为摇滚乐悖论。

可能是因为自己入手较晚——或者是因为自己乐感极差，我并没有遇到目前游戏评论区所说的诸如手感延迟之类会影响游玩体验的大问题，但可能也是因为同样的原因（主要是乐感差），说实话我对这款游戏更多的是一种淡淡的无感。仅从游戏的世界观设定，艺术风格，可玩性和故事剧情上看，我能确定《鼓点英雄》是一款除了人物形象塑造有些拉垮，各方面都还不错的节奏小品，但我同样确定在对摇滚乐无感的前提下，这种评价必然是不够精确的。

那既然如此，我们不妨直接引用制作组Headbang Club自己的评价作为对这游戏的高度概括吧：

Dude this game is AWESOME!!! I highly recommend playing on keyboard though. I had a lot of trouble playing on a controller, but switched to keyboard and had a blast. Never played a game that combines rhythm with shooting, and the sick metal music is just icing on the Awesome Cake.

I've beaten the game on the Metal difficulty, have only played the bass drum and snare. Not sure if I can handle any more notes/drums. There's two higher difficulties, and the higher difficulties add more notes like a hi-hat or something, idk i haven't played it. But the bass drum and snare gameplay is SICK!!

[h1]鼓点英雄——末世玩摇滚，随缘押节奏[/h1]
是个在末世开着车听着重金属打僵尸的音乐节奏游戏啦。美术风格很棒，故事模式中的NPC还有许多摇滚歌手与B级片的neta。虽然选曲并没有和章节所在区域完全挂钩（古堡啦吸血鬼的部分就很有Gothic味儿），歌是真的蛮不错的，果然僵尸片就要和摇滚搭配才燃嘛。可惜的是判定手感不太好，杀金属以上的歌时一个点押不中就会一片押不中，满盘皆属，全屏小姐，挫败感极强。

[h1]开车不易，自动驾驶[/h1]
在游戏中，机制的丰富程度是与玩家选择的难度挂钩的。难度越高，挑战也就越大。如果选择了摇滚难度，那么就只会出现单轨；选择硬摇及其以上难度则会出现双轨或三轨（左右，Ctrl与Shift）。虽然是个比较亲切的难度设计，但也觉得比较可惜，毕竟这样一来就有可能没有办法体验到最原汁原味的三轨打僵尸了。毕竟玩音游嘛，基础难度肯定就是HD啦。（约么着应该是金属？）

除Boss场景外，玩家在游戏中均不需要自行驾驶枪迪拉克。在Boss场景中，玩家需要与Boss站在同一直线才能够成功判定攻击，因此若是分不出精力可以选择在设置菜单中开启自动驾驶选项。（但Boss场景开了自动驾驶会用另外一个排行榜进行排名）
不过不用开车这点也有缺点。因为Double Kick的攻击范围有限，有时候就只能放着空枪等着小怪自己进入射击轨道，或者通过技能去自动瞄准攻击，等的心焦。

[h1]节奏不准，冷静模式[/h1]
实话说，游戏中选的那些曲子真的不错，刚打开游戏的那个晚上我是用机械键盘玩的，十一二点钟的时间键盘打的噼啪响，在戴着耳机的寂静的夜里听的格外分明。出于继续扰民会被打成被迫自信音游人的担忧，我换成了自己的另一块静音轴键盘，虽然没有了清脆的段落感，但轴的手感偏软，因此押起节奏也是更省力了。[strike]（XX交互，来把广告费结一下，谢谢）[/strike]尤其是那种连续左右单押的Note，我记着某首歌里有一串持续了十多秒钟，这一串要是在后半夜打出来，我可能就得手和键盘只能选一个留了。

但随着Note的逐渐增多，问题也逐渐显现出来。多轨时会经常出现那种判定迟滞的“欸，我明明按了的呀”的奇妙Miss，一个两个倒是还好，但打音游节奏一乱心态就乱了（我反正是这样），一乱就是乱一串，乱一串就会进入惩罚时间，最后就只能怒退游戏或者愤然重开。我就是实在重开不动了才从金属难度切成了硬摇，然而即便如此仍旧使我心烦意乱，最后索性开了冷静模式丢在一边听歌了。

但爽是真的爽，要不是摇头晃脑会影响我读谱，我可能都会选择用头打节拍。因为脑子基本上都拿来读谱了也就没注意刷怪是不是和当前小节的节奏挂钩，感觉上应该是这样吧。

I liked this game until I need to drive the car up and down to fight the boss. This is so **** annoying. PLEASE DELETE IT. I just want to hit the note with the rhythm.

I am really sorry but i believe in the current state the game is broken. If i play on Rock difficulty i cannot see the enemies on the left of the screen - i have to let them come by downgrading my weapons and.. waiting.. If i play on Hard Rock difficulty then the notes come so fast that the game engine (whatever 60 fps engine may be) cannot render enough and clear frames (on my 2080ti) so i can spot and click on the note. It is really a mess.

The music is okay, the pixel art is very decent but the dialogues are too long and boring.

I had high hopes for this game.. meh..

This game was alot more fun than I expected. I loved how their were parodies off of real like celebs and rock stars. It wasnt has hard to play with keyboard as i thought either. I dont have my old guitar hero controller anymore but this will make me find one at a thrift story for sure. The music is catchy and who doesnt love taking out zombies with good tunes. Great job and many loved watching it on stream who are metal heads.
