Наша цель побить врага по итоговым очкам на руках и для этого мы используем разные карты с разными эффектами - копирование, просмотр колоды, убирание карт из руки соперника и т.п. и т.д. Ну и плюс мы еще ставим в начале абилки, которые очень меняют игру и их постоянно приходится менять в зависимости от правил текущей партии. Игра очень увлекает и я не прошел буквально пару последних поединков. Т.к. менял комп и забыл просто о ней.

If you enjoy the kind of randomness that comes with a card game like Fluxx, you'll like this. If you're looking for something with deep strategy, it probably won't be a good fit.
Also, it seems like the only volume settings are LOUD or Off. Why?

这款游戏就是这样的，玩家可以不断的翻牌，如果翻到与之前翻过的牌同种族的牌时，则本轮翻出的牌要全部弃掉。不过有意思的在于每一张种族牌都是有技能的，当玩家翻出时会执行一次种族牌对应的技能，非常轻松简单毛线的小游戏，不能网络对战有点恶心，不过作为休闲还不错~如果有机会会去再买套桌游来推新~

ARRRRRR. That's how I feel when playing this game. It's simple in theory but your traits can really make or break you, as well as luck, and it's easy to go from losing to winning or winning to losing in a round. Fun, sometimes infuriating little card game. The pirate theme is also done super well and I love me a cannon (although mystic for life here). Great game when you just need to kill a couple minutes and every game, win or lose, progresses you which I really like.

Ще трохи підбішує "чітовість" суперників. Адже іноді навіть неозброєним оком видно, що є "підкрутка". І коли це разочок, то нічого. Але коли гра прям наполегливо показує тобі, що ти не зможеш виграти, це дуже бісить. Це єдиний мінус.

A arte do jogo é linda, as mecânicas de card game são fantásticas, é um cardgame baseado em combo no maior estilo can-can. È um jogo competitivo porém a maior crítica que tenho é que não dá pra jogar online nem local, e considerando que a mídia física dele [o card game original] flopou, é quase impossivel achar pra comprar e jogar.
A trilha é "ok" e os efeitos sonoros são realmente bons.
Ainda sim fica minha recomendação porque é um ótimo jogo cardgame casual

Enjoying it a lot since it has huge random and relatively radical skills. Also a notable "one more turn" example. Simple, fast, not punishing, not demanding.
Playable with mouse only, so can be played fine from phone + steam link, and works fine with native touch screens too.
The game opens to a resolution that does not fit the screen and option buttons disappear. Which makes the game unplayable.
Even uninstalling game does not fix it. This is an issue that has been known about in the forums since at least back to 2015 and yet nothing has been done to fix the issue.
I found this for sale for under $3. It turns out there is a real-life card-game version of it, which I imagine is the more fun option if you want to play it with friends. Still this is a good introduction to the various cards and rules.
The core mechanic: keep drawing cards to increase your score for this hand, but if you draw a second of the same suite that's already in your hand you loose this hand. It feels like walking on thin ice every time I draw a card! There are scoring complications too, such as if you have a higher points card of the same suite already in your collection of cards, the card in your hand does not contribute any points - so every round as you collect more cards the potential for scoring points goes down with every new hand.
It's easy enough to teach and pickup a game with a friend, so I think it's worth getting the hardcopy version to keep in the car if there's ever an occasion.
UPDATE: The game does have at least 1 bug I observed, where I had set up a trait for tripling any treasure chests, and not only did it not triple the number of cards provided, it did not even double them. Instead it only doubled the number of cards that I had gotten up to the chest or key, but no cards after that. It was only stuck doing this behavior once, and when I went to another match it worked correctly again.

This is a great card game! It's addictive and has that polished mechanics feel. It's not a CCG with tons of rules, it's not complicated, and it does not take long to play a session. It's a type of card game that you can play repeatedly on a lunch break or if you have a few minutes to spare. This game is quite cheap on sale so there is minimal risk to try it out! :-)

TLDR: Lazy coding ruins an otherwise fun strategy card game that rapidly becomes too frustrating to want to deal with.
While it's a decent card game, it would be better with friends. The reason is instead of crafting any sort of AI for the computer player the dev just seemed to code hard "cheats". You have RNG, the computer gets predictable strings of plays. This quickly becomes frustrating because there is literally no lead that you can amass which will overcome the final hand, which is almost always a statistics-defying 20 card play by the computer. Pirate theme is cute but adds nothing to the game, so I could take that or leave it.
Might be good on a mega sale, but all in all needs to either replace the AI with RNG or add multiplayer functionality to really work.
Game is very "rigged". Once you pass the first few levels (to hook you), other than a few lucky wins, you will find yourself CONSTANTLY losing in the last few draws. The AI seems to always get the better draws (yeah right, rigged draws), and you will find yourself on the receiving end of MANY MANY "doubles" that end your turn (especially when you draw the card that forces you to draw 2...at least 70% of these have been me being forced to draw a pair every time!...that isn't just bad luck that is a rigged game).
It's a unique and fun game at first, but the RNG gets annoying very fast, and the AI is beyond shameless.

Jogo de fácil aprendizado e viciante, com mecânicas sólidas e bem construídas. A jogabilidade consiste em duelos com cartas, por turno, contra IA. Existem 10 naipes de cartas: espada, canhão, kraken, sereia, baú, chave, mapa, âncora, gancho e místico. Os valores das cartas são de 2 a 7, somente o valor mais alto conta para sua pontuação (existem exceções), e cada naipe possui uma habilidade ativável ao comprar a carta, furtar do outro jogador ou jogá-la da mão. Tua mão é montada na hora conforme compra as cartas, podendo comprar quantas cartas quiser, entretanto, caso compre duas do mesmo naipe, perde-se a compra.
-Espada: roube uma carta da mão do oponente, de algum naipe que você não possua;
-Canhão: dá ao jogador a habilidade eliminar uma carta do opoente, a de valor mais alto e de qualquer naipe;
-Kraken: ao comprá-lo ou jogá-lo (da mão ou cemitério), o jogador é forçado a comprar duas cartas adicionais em seu turno;
-Sereia: reutilize a habilidade de uma carta jogada/comprada antes dela.
-Baú: sozinho ele não possui habilidade, contudo, na presença de uma chave (ou vice-versa), ao comprar, dobra a quantidade de cartas recebidas;
-Chave: mesma habilidade do baú, um depende do outro;
-Mapa: resgate uma carta do cemitério e jogue-a na mesa, ativando a habilidade da respectiva carta;
-Âncora: protege quaisquer cartas compradas/jogadas antes dela de serem eliminadas caso compre uma carta de naipe repitido;
-Gancho: jogue uma carta da mão e ative os efeitos dela;
-Místico: revela a próxima carta na pilha de compra;
A "campanha" do jogo é duelar contra a IA em torneios e cada um deles possui regras próprias que alteram a forma de jogar. Alguns exemplos: um dos torneios leva em consideração o número da carta ao invés do naipe, que é o padrão, para anular a compra; outro determina que deve-se ter uma pontuação de 60 ou menos e ainda ganhar; outro manda as cartas da compra anulada pra mão do adversário, e por aí vai. O que mais me f*deu foi o RNG, ou, no bom e velho português, o fator da aleatoriedade. Tiveram situações onde eu tava em grande vantagem contra a IA e, de repente, ela puxa as cartas certas na hora certa e minha pontuação inverte completamente e eu fico na m*rda.
Uma coisa que agregaria mais valor ao jogo seria um modo duelo contra outros jogadores (sem ranques, apenas casual), ou até mesmo um modo cooperativo 2x2 com amigos contra a IA. Ambos modos dariam uma repaginada na maneira de jogar. É um jogo bem acessível nos quesitos preço e requisitos para rodá-lo.

You can really get hooked on Dead Man's Draw and play it nonstop for hours.

SAW someone say doesn't work on Windows 11, I just checked it 11-15-2023 on Windows 11 PC: 11400F with modest RX6400, and it works just fine, be sure to turn off scaling or it is zoomed in and unplayable.

Well... Not a big deal. This is a variant of a solitaire game with some traits and effects. The Graphics are decent. The music is OK. No story here.
No bugs or crashes.
Overall, it's entertaining for a while, then slowly, but surely, it becomes boring and feels like a chore. The game puts emphasis on the risk aspect, but the risk is mostly for you, as your AI opponent pulls super combos all the time while you DO know you gonna bust with the next card. Once you get that the game is pretty much scripted, it loses its appeal. It's also a grind feast to get the achievements. I guess I could still recommend it for the good aspects, mostly originality, but I play for entertainment, and when something makes me feel like quitting... well, it can't get a blue thumb from me.

A great "press your luck" card game. I liked it so much the first time I played it that I instantly bought the physical version. A decade later I still fire this up from time to time to play a quick match against the computer and try out a new combination of player abilities. A phenomenal little game that's worth a buy for anyone who enjoys card games.

[b]Dead Man's Draw[/b] is a Card Battler that can be both annoying and addictive at the same time. There is a lot of luck involved (as in any card game). Once you understand what each card does and which trait combos are the best, you will start breezing through the MANY opponents and stages. The game has one repeating music track which is very annoying. The character illustrations are interesting. Most stages require you to score 65 or higher to get 3 stars. This will be quite challenging to get the last achievement.
Tips:
- At some point you would want to set the Game Speed to "Fast" to avoid excruciatingly slow and boring game play.
- One of the best trait combinations is probably "Master Gunner" with "Scavenger". If your opponent has "Misfire", use the combination "Treasure Hunter" and "Plunderer" instead.

Its a card-battler where each type of card has their own ability and your goal is to score more points than your opponent.
The rules are quite simple and well introduced step by step ingame.
There are like small tournements with mostly 2-4 opponents and you are getting points depending on your score.
You can reach up to 3 stars in each one which is only "important" if you wanna go for the achivemenets, but you have to beat each opponent to unluck the next one.
After winning some matches/tournements you will raise your level and earn some passive abilities which you can choose before starting a duel, which is pretty cool.
This way you can create some strategies or counter your opponents abilities which you will see before the match starts.
Of course there is also a RNG-factor , so even your best strategy might not work if you run out of luck, but i think thats the case in most card games.
For me it was after a while a bit too repetetive, but i still think its a good game for 'in between' as one match only lasts 5min or so.
All achievements worked fine, but if you wanna go for 100% you need in 50 of 60 tournements a 3-star rating so that might take a while, depending how good and lucky you have been.
Overall its a nice simple card game so thumbs up.

It's great for a few quick matches against AI. Lack of multiplayer doesn't bother since I wouldn't use it anyway and prefer to play against AI.
I am a 45 yo father, probably one of the oldest people playing this game. I am a single father to my Son, who is 14 now. My son got this game from his uncle, so we installed it on his computer and he started playing. By the end of the week he had 24 hours on this game. This was horrible for me, as it was already hard for me to find ways to spend time with my son, as he is always out with his friends or just watching YouTube. So I decided to make a Steam account and get this game to see if I could maybe play alongside him. I loaded into the game, picked my character and world and started playing but I was stuck on what you where supposed to do. I asked my Son for help and he hosted a game for me to join. I loved it as it was the best time I had spent with my Son since my wife had died. This game has ever since brought me and my son closer again and now we actually spend time together outside the house together as well. This game reminded me that there's fun to be had in everything, and it has brought both me and my Son many happy memories.

Awesome card game! Fun for the whole family and all ages! One small problem, do not go fullscreen, keep it windowed. Has problems adjusting in fullscreen mode for modern screen resolutions.

At times it can be fun, but after a while it gets not only repetitive but also very annoying - not to mention (since it's a card game) very, very random, which is quite frankly frustrating after some time.
The biggest issue I (personally) have with this game is, that the AI has the advantage over you to know more then you do about what has already been played and what cards are still in the game and the odds to draw the right cards, and thus pulls off combos that will turn around a game completely.
(I am not sure but I don't think the AI is cheating - at least that is what it seems to me to be the case - but I'm not sure.)
PS: ...and yes there is a problem with the resolution settings, which is quite annoying but thankfully can be fixed.

Looking for a single-player card game that is unique, quick to play, and easy to pick up? Dead Man's Draw will undoubtedly be a great choice if you are such a player.
A simple and addictive electronic version of a tabletop game, which is quite simple to understand, and luck is often a very important factor in the game, in addition to careful thought and a strategy for steady progress. Players can often turn the tables in a single turn by chaining card combos.
Of course, Dead Man's Draw is not so perfect... Whether it's the single-player campaign design that gradually starts to get boring as it progresses, the neutering of the tabletop version for more than 2 players, or the failure to include multiplayer and only being able to play as a single-player game, it all makes this game perhaps not too much fun for players. At the same time, if the player is very unlucky, then perhaps even the best strategy is difficult to redeem the defeat.
As a single-player card game of such a small size, this game is certainly worth a try - especially for those who purchased it in Stardock's bundle - and as long as you're interested in the game's strengths, remember to give it a try at your leisure.
the AI cheats and removes certain cards from the stack so you can't have it. instead it pushes 3 of the same bad cards into discard pile to bust you 100%.
that's most evident case, not to mention wall hacking and knowing all cards upfront, getting a cannon to blow my cards almost every turn while I'm getting that card once per match if lucky, dealing enormously long line of cards without busting (over 7) and finishing it with chest/key from a heap pile to win a match where I had huge lead.

A simple but fun (and addicting) push your luck card game. While it's strongly in the "filler" category - and to be honest: also in the "port from mobile devices" - it does its job well. The game itself is simple and mostly luck-based, but even so the tutorials are great. The (loooong) campaign game and leveling up system is somewhat overkill, but it works in keeping you engaged. All in all, it has a strong "let's try it again to see if I can beat it NOW! :D" vibe.

My son bought the physical card game for me a few years ago. I have enjoyed playing the game in person but after downloading and playing the game on here, I have learned that we were not playing the game completely right. The changes that I have learned make the game so much more exciting and challenging. I would tell anyone that enjoys press your lucks kind of games to pick this one up and enjoy.

I can recommend this card game to anyone looking for something not far off from Solitare in terms of level of strategy. Gameplay variation relies entirely on additional abilities for specific suits of cards or different win conditions, which is enough for me when playing from my couch using Steam Link. It is only a card battler to the extent that cards can be stolen or discarded from the opponent's hand.
Exellent game. RNG plays a factor but its a bit trimmed down by your risk management.
Its also fun when the A.I. gets sacked by being to greedy and getting busted.
I’m always on the lookout for my next Hexcells, a lightweight game that isn’t mindless, but doesn’t take one’s full attention. Dead Man’s Draw can’t hope to reach the heights of that puzzle masterpiece, but is is a nice little card game, and I enjoyed many a round. There’s a real luck element, and it’s of only moderate depth, but it does what it says on the tin.

Nonostante questo, andando avanti e sbloccando tutte le skill a nostra disposizione, la componente fortuna rimarrà sì intatta, ma avremo un vantaggio notevole contro ogni avversario. Hey, lieber Leser, Du bists wieder. Für dieses Spiel erspar ich Dir das übliche blumige Review, Du kriegst nur ne Kurze Checkliste, also Augen aufgesperrt, es geht auch schon los:
- macht Spaß
- ist leicht zu lernen und bietet ein wenig Tiefe
- kurzweilig und weiß für ein paar Stunden zu unterhalten
- ist preislich absolut im Rahmen dafür
Wieso trotzdem negativ bewertet? Es wird flott langweilig, nicht weils so uninnovativ wäre (was es ist, aber daran liegts nicht). Es fehlt eben der Ansporn des Multiplayer. Gegen den Rechner zu zocken macht oft Spaß, bei so einem Game ists aber eben absolut hirnlos und nutzt sich nach ein paar Klicks ab.
Schade, eine gute Chance vertan, vielleicht wirds ja mit dem nächsten Release was, die Ansätze sind auf jeden Fall da.
Jeu sans aucun réel intérêt stratégique.
Votre seule option tactique se résumera à savoir si vous piochez une carte de plus pour emmagasiner plus de points, avec le risque de piocher un double et tout perdre.
Quelques cartes auront des effets particuliers afin d'agrémenter le tout.
Ainsi si vous piochez un cannon vous pourrez voler une carte à l'ennemi (la plus élevée tant qu'à faire), et une épée fera peu ou prou la même chose, une orbe dévoilera la carte du dessus pour vous éviter de piocher un double, etc
Mais l'ossature de ce jeu réside toujours dans ce sacrosaint dilemme: piocher ou ne plus piocher.
Même le jeu des 7 familles a plus de profondeur stratégique.
Voilà.
L'univers des pirates et ses coffres à trésors étant juste là pour colorer le tout.

Einziger Kritikpunkt ist der fehlende Multiplayer.
Ein schönes Spiel für zwischendurch.
Der Preis ist auch nicht hoch.
Ein Kartenspiel mit interessanter Mechanik, bei der es für jede Taktik einen entsprechenden Counterpart gibt. Schade, dass man nur gegen den Computer spielen kann, zudem gibt es zu viele Level, um das Spiel komplett abschließen zu können (irgendwann fehlt es an Variationen und man hat schon alles gesehen). Dennoch macht es für ein paar Stunden Laune.

Nope, nice idea but the third opponent cheats, so can't recommend as I'm quite sure the rest of them will do it too.
Un juego de cartas con mecánicas sencillas y bien pensadas. Sin vueltas, va directo al hueso.
