Storyline

Part of me really wants to recommend this game. I have so many memories sinking hours and hours into it when I was younger. It's hard to believe it's been almost 15 years. However, nostalgia aside, what we are left with is a clunky and dated mess of a game. The story is irredeemable garbage and the dialogue and voice acting are genuinely terrible. The core gameplay loop is ok, but so many of the quests are just so tedious. Look me in the eye and tell me that going through the sewers for the supermarket quest in Act II didn't make you want to drown yourself...

That being said, the resort from Act I is still breathtakingly beautiful in present day. This is what most people remember about the game, because it was such a unique and fun area to explore. The City and Jungle areas that follow just do not hold up, and are such a drag to traverse in comparison. The only reason to play this game in 2026 (as someone new to the franchise) is running through the game with friends for comedic purposes. There is no other reason to subject yourself to it.

In conclusion, even though I have sunk many hours into this game and will continue to do so, I really cannot recommend it to new players. Just pick up Dying Light. You will be much better off.

Awful game. Bland characters, unengaging and forgettable story, boring and repetitive gameplay when most of the time you complete some boring-ass tasks that don't push the game further, irritating combat, bugged as hell. Sad to admit this piece of ♥♥♥♥ came from my country. I know it's kinda fun when you play with friends but even the worst piece of crap is fun when you play with them cause you can all laugh about how bad the game is.

I've played this game MANY times throughout the years it's been released. It isn't the best, but that doesn't mean it isn't enjoyable. In fact, its little bugs add to its charm and make it my comfort game (perhaps even one of my favorites).
If you're looking for a long form, story based zombie game, I would highly recommend this. There's a main quest and PLENTY of side quests to go around (so much so that it takes me about 17 hours to complete the storyline 100%).
Definitely great for its time, and still a solid 8/10 for me!

Bueno, que decir sobre Dead Island... Muchas cosas y casi todas son malas.
Comencemos por lo mas básico y simple que solo le interesa a la gente media o muy pelotuda.
LOS GRAFICOS:
Teniendo en cuenta que es un juego de hace 10 años y que en su época si mal no recuerdo era "muy bueno" gráficamente, digamos que a día de hoy esta "bien". No hay mucho mas que decir.
BUGS:
La verdad que en este aspecto el juego destaca bastante, lo cual no debería ser algo destacable sino algo normal pero bueno... Solo me buguie un vez y lo solucione fácilmente usando una granada y aparecer en el punto de control, otros "bugs" que me tope fue uno que mas que bugs debe ser algún error de diseño, en este juego cuando decapitas a un zombie, sea cual sea su diseño este se transforma en un PELADO (jajaja), lo cual es incluso bastante gracioso cuando te das cuenta por primera vez. Y por ultimo un bugs que si me rompió bastante las bolas fue en el acto 2, en este acto por alguna razón el clima se vuelve loco y por ejemplo estas caminando y de la nada se nubla y comienza a llover, haces 10 pasos y se despeja todo como si nada, haces 15 pasos y el viento crea una tormenta de polvo y así constantemente, haces 10 metros y de la nada se hace de noche, no es algo que influya directamente en la jugabilidad pero si le quita un montón de inmersión y es bastante molesto.
JUGABILIDAD:
Bueno acá vamos por el punto que NO RECOMIENDO este juego, sinceramente la jugabilidad es una mierda y ahora lo voy a explicar el porque. Para empezar, el juego no cuenta con un botón para cubrirte y si esto no seria problema si los movimientos fuesen al menos decentes pero no es el caso, el movimiento de tu personaje es malísimo, tosco, lento, errático. Entonces no tenes manera de cubrirte y encima tu personaje parece que tiene solo una pierna util. Por otro lado tenes a los zombies que explotan este defecto al máximo, en el juego tenes dos clase de zombies básicos, unos lentos y otros que vienen corriendo y gritando, la cosa es que da igual porque al estar cerca tuyo te hacen el mismo ataque, ataque que no podes bloquear porque no existe esa acción y que solo podes hacer 2 cosas, o te vas hacia atrás o hacia los costados, algo que funciona si solo vienen 1/2 zombies pero que se hace totalmente inútil si vienen mas y si en casi todas las situaciones van a venir mas de 2 zombies, entonces básicamente en cada enfrentamiento te van a sacar vida, lo cual nos lleva al siguiente punto y uno de los mas cansinos y asquerosos de este juego. Resulta que algunos de estos zombies básicos llevan algún arma en su poder, ya sea un palo, una tabla de madera o una tubería, en este momento pensaras "ja que bien, asi es mas "dinámico" ¡NO! DINAMICO MIS BOLAS, resulta ser que estos hijos de su putrefacta madre pueden lanzar ese arma y el problema viene en que el daño que causa este ataque es RIDICULO, pero ridículo al punto de que el 90% de las veces que morí fue porque este ataque básicamente si no tenes el 100% de la vida te hace ONESHOT, literalmente si salís de un combate en el que te bajaron 5% de vida y uno de estos te lanza el arma TE ONESHOTEA y esto no solo es una mierda sino que es totalmente estúpido ya que en el juego hay armas de fuego y los disparos de un rifle de asalto te quitan 10% de vida por golpe mientras que un palo de mierda lanzado por un zombie parece que te arranca la cabeza. En fin pasando a los zombies de elite, son malísimos también ya que aunque cambien sus diseños llevan el mismo ataque en el cual te golpean, caes al piso y por alguna razón los zombies te ignoran totalmente, incluyendo al elite lo cual le quita inmersión de manera instantánea. Podría seguir con la IA de los npc aliados que te dan ganas de reventar el teclado contra la pantalla, varias veces te ponen misiones de escolta en las cuales el npc camina sin parar pasando entre medio de grupos de zombies y atrayendo muchas veces a 10/15 zombies jajaja me rio para no meterle una piña a la pantalla ahora mismo, obviamente fracasas la misión porque matan al npc y la tenes que hacer otra vez hasta que por algún milagro logras que sobreviva y podes seguir tu camino. Me quedan muchas cagadas por nombrar pero para cerrar con la jugabilidad tengo que agregar que el sistema de armas de fuego es una basura total, las miras son un asco y para colmo para matar a un zombie le tenes que meter 10 tiros en la cabeza lo cual es ridículo en todo sentido y antes de que salga aun intento de ser humano a decir algo como "pero es que asi el juego evita que uses armas de fuego ñi ñi ñi y uses los mods y crees armas toxicas y electricas ñi ñi ñi" escucha una cosa descerebrado, las balas son super escasas hasta casi el final del juego y los zombies en casi todas las etapas te vienen de a 5/6 o mas, usar armas de fuego todo el tiempo aun si le hicieran oneshot en la cabeza a los zombies te haria quedar sin balas en minutos entonces no es excusa, el sistema esta mal hecho y punto. Bueno ahora si, sigamos, aunque me quedaron varias cagadas por nombrar.
HISTORIA:
Bueno jajaja aca no se puede decir demasiado, sinceramente la historia de este juego no llega ni al estandar mas básico y mediocre del cine de zombies, es mala con ganas, mala y super estúpida ya que por ej y tal vez de ahora en mas sea todo puro SPOILER.
SPOILER. - SPOILER. - SPOILER.
Empezas con la clasica de un virus que nadie sabe de donde salio y bla bla bueno cuestion que la isla ahora esta llena de zombies, okey bueno resulta que rapidamente te encontras con un grupo de randoms que al parecer te ven cara de buena persona o de muy pelotudo porque te comienzan a hacer recados en plan traenos agua, traenos comida, traenos armas, traenos mas comida y vos tipo para la concha de tu madre no trabajo para pedidosya. Asi vas pasando de recadero mientras cumplis otras misiones y avanzas en la historia para llegar a otro lugar con refugiados que OTRA VEZ para "ayudarte" vos los tenes que ayudar primero y asi DURANTE TODO EL JUEGO. Lo mas gracioso de esto es que vos vas por ahi prometiendo que los vas a ayudar a salir de la isla y al final te chupa 1 huevo porque cuando pasas de zona esos grupos quedan en el olvido jaja sin contar los npc random que te encontras por el camino y cuando los salvas se quedan en una casa o guarida en vez de ir a uno de los refugios mas grandes y vos decis "man, te acabo de salvar y te quedas aca solo sin proteccion" un sin sentido total y el peor de todos los sin sentidos es que eventualmente los zombies hacen mierda la mayoria de los refugios y vos te quedas como diciendo "perdi horas salvando y luego ayudando a estos forros para que despues simplemente mueran", Esto pasa al menos 4 veces en todo el juego, la historia esta llena de agujeros de guion como cuando conoces al jefe de la tribu que porta el virus y en un mision claramente te dice que "ellos conocen el virus desde hace generaciones" y vos pensas "¿y justo ahora se descontrola porque si?" sin ningun motivo ni argumento, solo porque meh, esto te saca aun mas de la historia que ya de por si es pesima y bueno el final... EL FINAL es de lo peor que vi en mucho tiempo. La pelea no esta tan mal osea la pelea antes del final, pero el jefe final es algo tan aberrante y basico que hasta da pena, para que se den una idea en la escena final tenes a LOS CUATRO personajes principales + 3 personajes que fuiste ayudando y estan ahi con vos, el malo tiene UNA PISTOLA y esta AMENAZANDO A 7 JODIDAS PERSONAS SIN NI SIQUIERA TENER UN REHEN cuando vos estas armado hasta los dientes y te abriste paso por un lugar infestado de zombies OSEA totalmente estupido y sin sentido, cuestion que el malo este se inyecta "la cura" en realidad no lo cura un carajo y se transforma, si tenes un arma mod con toxica te lo garchas en 10 segundos y listo fin del juego.
Bueno gracias por leer, si es que alguien esta tan al pedo para leer todo esto de un juego de hace 10 años, felicidades o no, mejor busca ayuda profesional, estas mal, muy mal. ¡Saludos!

[b]Dead Island Definitive Edition[/b] is basically what you get when a tropical resort turns into Z‑world and someone yells “SURVIVE” in your ear. The game throws you onto the island of Banoi with a horde of undead, some blunt weapons, and big dreams of not dying… ideally.

At its heart this is a zombie‑slashing RPG survival thing — you loot, you craft weapons, you swing stuff at shambling zombies until they either explode or you do. Smash heads, crack skulls, chuck acid bottles — it feels satisfyingly visceral when it works.

[b]Co‑op is where it shines[/b]. Playing solo is fun… for about an hour. But when you bring friends? Chaos. Someone revives you right as a zombie pounces, another steals your weapon, someone else forgets controls exist… it’s beautiful.

[u]But yeah, it’s definitely aged a bit[/u]. The melee combat mostly rocks, but the animations can feel clunky and the controls a tad stiff compared to newer titles. At times quests feel like “go here, kill thing, come back” — classic fetch energy.

[b]The negatives:[/b]
• Zombies respawn way too often, so clearing areas doesn’t really stick.
• Story feels generic and voice acting is… hmm, let’s say “retro.”
• Some tech quirks and bugs still lurk in corners.

Je m'ennuie à mort chaque fois que j'essaye d'y jouer et je fini par abandonner... Les maps ont quasi rien d'intéressant à explorer, les zombies qui respawn tout le temps ralentissent le jeu beaucoup trop en plus que ca rend la durabilité des armes encore plus insuportable. Le genre de jeu qui nécessite de jouer avec quelqu'un pour combler les vides.

Eğer tek oynayacaksanız ASLA önermem. Ben zamanında tek başıma denedim, baya sıkılıp bıraktım. Yanınızda illa bir arkadaşınız olması lazım ki sonuna kadar beraber ilerleyebilesiniz.

Oyunun combat’ı, özellikle silahları geliştirmeye başlayınca, gayet keyifli olsa da ana görevler berbat. Mesela oyunun Act 2’sinde bir şehre gidiyorsunuz. Mekan olarak gezmesi gerçekten ilginç ve zombilerle dolu. Burada görev yapmak eğlenceli olabilir ama adamlar şehre hiçbir görev koymamış. Full sizi lağımlarda, aynı yerlerde gezdirip duruyor; sürekli bir yerlere yürüme, eşya getirip gelme görevleri falan yaptırıyor. 2 kişi oynayınca konuşa konuşa bunlar yapılıyor ama bu kısımları tek oynasaydım sıkıntıdan geberir ve bu oyuna olumsuzu basıp geçerdim.

Bir de bu araba sürüşü ne lan böyle? Gerçek hayatta bindiğim atı kontrol etmeye çalışıyor gibi burada arabayı yolda tutmaya çalışıyorum. Bir de oyunun sonrasında zırhlı bir araç kullanmanız gerekiyor. Pencere o kadar küçük ki önünüzü göremiyorsunuz. Bir de görevlerinden birinde o araca zırh takıyorlar, iyice görmeniz zorlaşıyor.

I just finished the story and man it was so frustrating... Every single time when the player thinks he could move on with the story the game gives him an additional quest 75% of the time for example:
!SPOILER WARNING!
-You should bring us some "Firepower" to help our friend to be less afraid
-Fighting trough the zombie horde then bringing him the only 1 ammo box what I have found.
-That's not good, you should open the door from the kitchen area "cause my boys are hungry"
-Finished the quest, okay but we still need extra firepower (Are you for real bro?)

Overall this game could be better but the quest variants are so few that it becomes boring after ACT 2
(I played with Xian and went for a melee/Stamina build for comfort)

Intentionally playing this game as a cheapskate, running around with almost broken weapons and not repairing them to save money makes the game feel a little more intense and scary. Also spam exchanging molotovs with the guy that gives away them for 3 booze bottles and you're pretty much cheesing the game. The story is there, yes. The remastered graphics look really good and the female playable characters are hot.

You can for sure find better zombie games with more inventive combat, survival, traversal, story etc., but this one is a solid fun title with the option of co-op.

Хоч по завершенню гра й залишила приємні враження, але порадить її складно гггг. Дуже крива: шо ґрафіка, шо сама гра. Таке враження, що гру випустили на 6 місяць зарано, але виправлять цього вже ніхто не буде :D За повну ціну це куплять не раджу в жоднім випадкові, але за 90% знижкою (та бажано кількома друзями), це цілком гарний спосіб провести кілька вечерів.

The Hook:

-If you’ve ever wanted to turn a luxury vacation into a gory survival horror playground, Dead Island Definitive Edition remains the definitive way to do it. Even years after its release, there is something uniquely satisfying about the "crunch" of a lead pipe hitting a Walker's skull against the backdrop of a beautiful Banoi sunrise.

The Good:

-Visceral Combat: The melee-focused combat is the star of the show. The weight of the weapons and the multi-layered damage system (where you can actually see bones break and skin tear) still feels better than many modern zombie titles.

-Atmospheric World-Building: The transition from the sunny, blood-soaked beaches to the claustrophobic city of Moresby and the dark jungles is top-tier. The "Definitive" lighting upgrades make the resort look genuinely stunning.

-Co-op Mayhem: This game is 2x more fun with friends. Scaling the zombie hordes with a 4-player squad turns a stressful survival game into a hilarious, chaotic action romp.

-Weapon Modding: Crafting "Ripper" baseball bats or "High Voltage" machetes remains addictive. Hunting for blueprints to turn garbage into tools of destruction is the core gameplay loop that keeps you going.

The Bad:

-Aged Mechanics: Compared to its spiritual successor, Dying Light, the movement feels heavy and "tanky." There’s no parkour here—expect to get stuck on a waist-high fence or a rogue beach chair more than once.

-Technical Jitter: Despite being the "Definitive" version, some of the legacy bugs are still present. You’ll occasionally see a zombie clip through a door or a quest item fail to trigger, requiring a quick checkpoint reload.

-The Story: It’s a B-movie at best. The characters are mostly stereotypes, and the narrative serves as little more than a reason to move from Point A to Point B.

The Verdict:

In 2026, Dead Island Definitive Edition is a nostalgic trip that still holds up for fans of pure "hack-and-slash" gameplay. It lacks the polish and verticality of newer titles, but it makes up for it with sheer brutality and a great atmosphere.

Eu não sei se gostei ou não do jogo, eu joguei pra porra, mas não sei qual meu sentimento final.

A mescla de RPG com zumbis é uma ideia muito legal, mas acaba que o método que eles utilizaram para a progressão da "história" - se é que pode chamar assim - fica muito repetitivo. Por exemplo, quando nós vamos para o segundo ato, temos que realizar várias, VÁRIAS, side quests para conseguir prosseguir com a história principal. Até aí eu estava gostando muito, eu comecei a desgostar quando saímos do resort para uma cidade toda fodida, esperada de um apocalipse zumbi.
Nessa cidade tem tudo o que a gente já tá acostumado: humanos - com uma IA horrorosa - espaços pequenos, uns carros pegando fogo, uns lugares meio estranhos para entrar e tudo mais. Eu sinceramente não gostei desse cenário, mas eu fiquei com tanta raiva do jogo de ter que ficar entrando e saindo dos esgotos que a parte que mais odiei foi, sem dúvida alguma, os esgotos. Não sei nem formular, só não gostei. Em seguida temos a floresta e a cadeia, que na minha concepção são mais foda-se ainda, EU QUERIA JOGAR NUM RESORT, AF.
Tendo tudo isso em vista, nós temos a história, que eu não vou mentir que prestei atenção, mas assim, o jogo base, apenas ele (não joguei a DLC), é muito estranho. Nada faz sentido, as side quests não se conectam à progressão da história, do nada uns personagens que eu nem sei quem são morrem e vai lá em X lugar e pega Y item, repete isso mais milhões de vezes e boom, do nada, o lugar q você ajudou foi consumido por uma horda e, olha só, você vai ter que matar :O
Quanto à jogabilidade, eu gostei, é divertido sim, mas eu não joguei em grupo, talvez seja mais engraçado e engajante com mais gente. Dirigir foi meio difícil, mas vou deixar o benefício da dúvida que eu não sei dirigir em primeira pessoa.

Eu não sei quão bugado esse jogo costuma ser, mas para meu computador, que diga-se de passagem é HORROROSO, foi bem sofrido algumas partes. Eu morria e spawnava deus sabe onde, aí o carro me prendia em algum lugar que eu literalmente conseguia passar, eu levei dano de zumbi que foi ser renderizado só depois de me bater, eu já vi armas flutuando que estavam me atirando, mas para mim o pior eram minhas armas desaparecerem.
Agora, com relação à DLC, eu jogo muito mal para conseguir dar alguma opinião, então eu me irritei morrendo e tendo que voltar no último save point com cada vez menos itens, já que ele volta no save point mas os itens que você usou continuam gastos.

Em resumo migos, comprem em promoção se quiserem jogar, porque não vale o preço cheio nunca.

I came to Banoi for the crystal-clear waters, the sun-kissed beaches, and the promise of endless mai tais. What I got instead was a masterclass in 'how to turn a luxury resort into a limb-strewn abattoir using only a oar and a dream.'

If you've ever thought, 'You know, my chiropractor just isn't cutting it, maybe I should try repeatedly smashing a zombie's head in with a spiked baseball bat until its brains are a fine mist,' then Banoi is your spiritual retreat. This isn't just a game; it's *therapy*. Zombie therapy. With optional co-op so you and three friends can argue over who gets to craft the electrifying machete and who's stuck with the flaming wrench. (Spoiler: everyone wants the flaming wrench.)

The combat loop is simple, satisfying, and slightly deranged. Kicking zombies off cliffs? Chef's kiss. Throwing a fully upgraded weapon only to forget where it landed amidst the carnage? Peak Dead Island. Getting jumped by a Thug after you thought you cleared the area? Classic Banoi hospitality.

Sure, it's janky, the quests are basically 'go fetch that thing I just forgot about because I'm a survivor and my short-term memory is shot,' and sometimes the driving mechanics make less sense than a zombie trying to explain quantum physics. But tell me, where else can you find such cathartic joy in turning the undead into modern art? The answer, my friends, is 'nowhere quite like this.'

**Pros:**
* Zombie-kicking satisfaction levels: Off the charts.
* Co-op chaos: Priceless.
* Weapon crafting: What do you mean a *nail bomb* isn't standard luggage?

**Cons:**
* The locals are a bit... bitey.
* My insurance company won't cover 'zombie apocalypse-induced property damage and loss of limbs.'
* I now instinctively try to kick things that aren't zombies. Send help.

Come for the paradise, stay because your arms are too tired from swinging a bloody cricket bat to swim away. Best holiday ever. 10/10 would re-vacation.

Это мой первый серьёзный обзор на игру, начну с графики, она для 2011 года очень похожа на дл1 чем то и мне она понравилась, сюжет там очень простой, просто 4 чела проходят опасный путь от острова до тюряги и улетают на вертолете, геймплей скучный, в начале может показаться, что открытый мир интересный, но на 20 часу ты задолбаешься выполнять однотипные миссии принеси, убей, отнеси, деад исланд 2 будет во всем лучше, там хотя бы мини боссов интересно проходить, а не как в самом конце, с другом поугарали и он баговал сильно, не советую к покупке, если берете за полную стоимость, берите за 100 рублей, возможно она столько и стоит, она очень утомляет и почти под конец мы даже не трогали зомби, просто пробегали вперёд все двери и все

Die Grafik von 2016 sieht auch 2026 noch gut aus. Das liegt an dem nicht abgenutzten Setting. Das Gameplay geht gut von der Hand, es gibt Levelaufstieg, Upgrades, Crafting, Karte mit Wegpunkten und dazu die Urlaubsstimmung für 1,99 Euro (im Sale), wo gibt's das schon. Also rein in's Vergnügen.

I can honestly say this game is very boring. The controls are clunky, the story is horribly bland and uninspired, the voice acting is crap and any interactions with characters suck. The quest system is hard to use, movement feels weird, the combat is very boring.

It's basically a fetch quest simulator. Get this, get that. Do this, do that.

Nah, I think I spent too much time on this already. Wanted to give a fair shot but it wasn't worth my time or energy.

I'll give dead island 2 a shot and hope it's a bit more fun and more refined, would suck to have wasted my money on trash.

Played this a lot on the Xbox 360, despite how janky the gameplay is (especially on PC) this game is very fun to play. The quests are rewarding and there's a ♥♥♥♥ ton of replayability too.

Story is decent. It's better than what Dead Island 2 tried doing.

26 раз сбегай с одной части города в другую, прогрессия сломана, сайдов много - и все они ТОЧНО ТАК ЖЕ заставляют тебя бегать туда сюда.

Игра однозначно хороша была когда-то, но не сейчас.
Но! Это же дефентив. может, багов не будет? а хЪй там плавал. их тьма. Еще и с софтлоками.

Jogo carregado pela gameplay, extremamente divertido ficar matando zumbi. Encontrar arma nova, modifica-la etc. Transformando em uma maquina de matar. A história é okay, passavel. Os mapas alguns sao legais outros nem tanto, da para ver claramente que Dead Island é o Beta de Dying Light, sendo o mapa da cidade basicamente o DL sem parkour. Mesmo assim, gostei do game porém tenho que admitir, o resort foi o melhor mapa/momento do game, saindo dele o game ficou okay, o que segura é a Gameplay. 7.5/10

Eu zerei esse jogo e ele me surpreendeu. Eu levei umas 24h (Que não foram seguidas e sim divididas em vários dias), fiz uma mescla de missões da campanha principal e algumas secundárias. Se eu tivesse feito todas as secundárias eu teria muito mais que 24h no game. Eu não esperava que esse game fosse ser tão grande, sendo dividido em 4 atos e assim... a história do jogo é interessante de forma geral mas eu acho que tem bastante encheção de linguiça. Só mais pra frente, no ato 3, quando tu chega em um laboratório que você entende o que é o vírus, e como ele surgiu e como começou a epidemia na ilha de Banoi. Até então a história mostra como você e os demais sobreviventes estão fazendo pra sobreviver na ilha. Entretanto a transição, na história, dos eventos da praia, até a selva, e depois pro laboratório seguem uma linha de raciocínio. Então eu gostei em partes da história com algumas ressalvas. Algumas missões da campanha principal onde você precisa escoltar os NPCs as vezes são longas de mais e você sente que é um caminho exagerado apé e que o jogo tem isso justamente pra encher linguiça. Tipo no ato 3 quando tu vai com uma npc pro laboratório e ao invés dela seguir você e entrar em um carro ou usar o fast travel, ela te obriga a andar o caminho inteiro apé em um mapa gigante, com um monte de zumbi no meio do caminho. Então tem pequenas coisas que você percebe que é só pra passar o tempo. O ato 4 pra mim foi o pior, as missões naquele lugar foram bem desnecessárias tendo em vista que elas não serviram para absolutamente nada e você se sente meio bobo. Outras missões de "pombo-correio" também são um pouco chatinhas. Você não é obrigado a acabar com todo e qualquer zumbi que cruze o seu caminho, na verdade, se você quer só sair correndo e ir pro objetivo você pode e graças a Deus, porque teve vezes que eu não queria nem mais enfrentar ngm, só correr pro objetivo e acabar aquilo logo. O jogo me surpreendeu também pela quantidade de mapas diferentes, a ilha, a selva, a cidade, a prisão, que são os mapas maiores e bem grandes. E fora os mapas menores e acessórios, como os esgotos, casas abandonadas etc. Tem bastante lugar pra explorar e isso me surpreendeu. As missões secundárias que eu fiz foram razoáveis. Mas basicamente elas consistiam em: Limpar alguma área, recuperar algum item ou escoltar o NPC. Os mapas são tão grandes que eu andei o equivalente a 75km dentro do jogo! kkkkkkk Existem carros que você pode usar, fast travels pontuais. A história também tem plots e eu fiquei :O

A gameplay é boa... Quando estamos falando de armas corpo a corpo, afinal o jogo é focado nessas armas, uma grande variedade de armas afiadas e contundentes, como bastões, clavas, cassetetes, martelos, facas, espadas, facoes, machados, facas de combate etc. As armas de fogo temos, pistolas, metralhadoras e espingardas. (E já adianto que a espingarda é A PIOR ARMA DESTE JOGO!, eu não sei como eles conseguiram pegar a arma mais foda e poderosa num apocalipse zumbi e tornar ela tão inútil! Se você equipar uma banana, ela vai dar mais dano que essa escopeta. Como que pode você estar COLADO no ZUMBI ou no NPC, você ATIRA com a 12 e ela não da dano nenhum??! Sério, horrivel, você leva mais de 8 tiros pra acabar com um zumbi e ela demora de 2 a 6 dias úteis pra recarregar a 12. Não usem!). O combate com as armas de fogo não é lá essas coisas, é bem mediano quando estamos falando dos zumbis. Ainda bem que eles são lerdos porque se todos fossem rápidos o combate com armas de fogo seria impossível.

O combate contra os NPCs (que sempre usam armas) é uma coisa complicada. Muitas vezes você coloca a retícula no lugar certo, atira, e o tiro simplesmente não pega, a hitbox é muito ruim. Você precisa estar em uma distância média-perto pra ser mais efetivo, usando a pistola ou a metralhadora. É um pouco irritante você atirar e o NPC só ignorar o tiro porque a bala foi desviada por uma intercessão divina da hitbox. Essa situação acontece especialmente no final do jogo, foi um pouco irritante. Esquece as armas de fogo, foca nas armas corpo a corpo e eras isso.

Cada personagem tem uma classe diferente que te da buff com um tipo de arma. Joguei com a Xian Mei que da mais dano com armas afiadas. Ai tem o Sam B que usa armas contundentes, a purna com armas de fogo, o logan com armas de arremesso... Enfim. Talvez se você usar a purna as armas de fogo sejam mais eficazes, mas não espere que vai virar um call of duty, o foco sempre será as armas corpo a corpo.

Acho que se tivessem tirado todos os momentos de encheção de linguiça na campanha principal teria reduzido pela metade o meu tempo de gameplay. No final, ele não é um jogo ruim. Foi um bom jogo de apocalipse zumbi, com uma história interessante, uma gameplay corpo a corpo aceitável, gameplay com armas de fogo duvidosa, alguns plots na história. E um final que tem uma ponto pro segundo jogo. Recomendo.
