Feels like a cash grab from the developers, they had a good game, stopped working on it and then just left it to die, what a shame.

Returning to take a look at this after, what, several years, it's horrific that steam didn't mass-refund purchasers of this title. What a crying shame anyone spent money on this garbage.
Grafisch schön anzuschauen, tolle Maps, wo nicht eine davon nur Stückwerk ist.
Modelle etc sehen super aus, jedoch muß man an seiner Frustrationstoleranz arg arbeiten, denn was hier selbst die Bots wegstecken hat noch keine Beschreibung gefunden und man selbst, fällt schon beim Anhusten. Leider, ist hier die gute Balance, welche in Day of Infamy implementiert ist, abhanden gekommen, aber der Spaß und der Genuß solcher Maps, machen das zum Großteil wett.

The developers of this game have completely abandoned it. They promised 3 years, THREE YEARS of updates to the game.. as soon as it was released, they ditched it. Its a laughing stock and i wish i could get my money back. There was a solid promise of this game that hit the nostalgia of the DOD Game days. Which i had amassed thousands of hours on pre-steam tracking. This is such a bad joke.

Les problèmes soulevés aux dev' semblent pris en compte (CF : MAJ et annonce), à voir si ca dure.
On est sur un vrai early accès, le jeu tourne est basta : le contenu est encore pauvre côté maps, certaines armes sont encore (selon moi) trop déséquilibrés (je ne demande pas non plus d'avoir des armes strictement identiques).
Les dev' semblent avoir besoin de feedbacks pour améliorerle jeux qui en a grandement besoin.
Faut il acheter ou non? Je pense qu'il vaut attendre encore quelques semaines (2-3) pour voir si les dev' se bougent et améliorent le jeu ou non. Pour ceux qui l'ont acheté je pense qu'il n'y a pas de quoi s'en mordre les doigts :p
Ce que je regrette c'est que pres des 2/3 des avis négatives émanent de joueurs ayant joué moins d'une heure...
Je regrette aussi de voir des sites comme NOFRAG balancer des phrases du style "Pour l'heure, 530 joueurs s'affrontent sur Days of War, mais on doute qu'il y en ait toujours autant dans une semaine.", lors de la publication de cet article le jeu n'était dispo que depuis quelques heures (moins de 7h...). Les gars on a pas tous la chance de pouvoir poser une journée de congès et jouer dessuite... laissez le temps aux gens de rentrer du boulot :p et laissez au jeu le temps d'évoluer.
Certains joueurs on demandé aux DEV' de permettre au jeu d'afficher plus de 60FPS... Je pense qu'il vaut mieux faire des demandes sur des choses essentiels comme le son des armes et leurs rééquilibrage, de nouvelles maps etc que de demander à afficher plus de 60FPS, vous ne verrez même pas la différence ;)
Pour ma part je ne regrette pas mon achat, et ai hâte de voir comment va évoluer le jeux :) et recommande le jeu (à voir si je change d'avis).
Ich finde es gelungen, es ist schlicht einfach und schön.
Das Game ist top, aber leider finden das nicht alle so, lieber Battalion 1944 etc zocken, was nicht mal annähernd so gut ist;)
Hab es früher mal angetestet und fande es richtig mies, aber man merkt das die Entwickler das Game nicht fallen lassen und fleißig weiter daran rumschrauben. Also ich bin mehr als begeistert. Ihr verpasst was Leute, ganz im Ernst. Das Game ist vermutlich auch noch nicht ganz fertig, ich hoffe sehr das noch weitere Inhalte folgen, wäre sogar bereit etwas zu bezahlen.

- mehr Realismus, besonders gut, die zu viel von COD oder BF etc haben.
- einfacher Einstieg, nicht so krass wie das fast krasse Ultra realistisches Setting von Hell Loose.

- schade das die Nationen dünn gehalten werden, momentan nur 4 Fraktionen spielbar: Russen, Amis, Briten und die
Deutschen.
- und weiterer Nachteil geringe Spielerzahl. ( Naja dann müssen halt die Bots daran glauben ;)

不用相信差评的评论，游戏很好，我一直喜欢这种一战二战题材的游戏，虽然说有很多这种游戏，不过，这个游戏做到了pve体验历史战场，比如诺曼底，虽然不是整个大军，但也足够了。枪械的手感也还不错，就是狙击枪开镜时晃动太大，不好瞄准，建议改成像cod那样按住shift可以短时间稳定住瞄准镜。还有就是夺旗战，每个旗点占领时间太快了，刚占领一个，跑去下一个旗点，然后刚才占领的旗点又被占领了。还有摧毁设施战，盟军埋炸弹的时间太快了，而且爆炸时间也很快，轴心国军根本来不及去拆炸弹，如果不拆，就会输，所以建议改一下这些时间。总的来说还是不错的游戏，平时打打bot就很爽了，线上我没玩过，估计很卡。
Good Foundation, Poor Execution.
All the groundwork for a good game is there. The gunplay and TTK just kill the vibe of everything. TTK is so high, it takes 6 rounds from the 1911 to kill... with all headshots. Recoil on automatics is unbearable. The closest comparison I can make for the recoil on automatics is Totally Accurate Battle Grounds. So unrealistically over the top. The character models could also use some serious work.
There are some positives to this game. Gun models are mostly polished. Runs pretty smooth. Maps are very detailed and are above average design. But that's not enough for me to say it's worth hopping in to.
Сначала все было прекрасно, но последние дни просто не могу поиграть, т.к. не находит игроков. А играть с ботами.. Скучно становится, к тому же, за это не поднимается уровень, что очень важно. Единственное, что хорошо, тут боты с мозгами, не просто мясо ходячее, они могут тебя перехитрить и убить.

Days of War is what I imagined a new Day of Defeat game would be like if Valve were to ever give a single damn about that property and provide us with a more updated version. So far no bugs, the game controls well, and runs well too. It really needs more players, though. I can understand people being hesitant to buy this game at $25, I know I was, so I strongly urge the publisher to drop the price permanently so that people on the fence are more willing to try.
This game absolutely scratches that "new DoD" itch I've been having for years and I hope we can get more players in the mix!
I started in dod then moved to dods I have tried Post scriptum and really loved it but it is to hard to get 80-100 guys together so was still looking tried Hell let loose nope! then I found Days of War! fast paced just like dod and dods has awesome maps and map editor cause Im a mapper! It has competitive match making and it is on UE4 it has everything I have been looking for in a ww2 shooter! This is Merrill from Merrill's Marauders. I bought Days of War and I'm very impressed / surprised with the level of detail regarding the maps and game play. The pace is fast and graphics are very good. This is unlike any other WW2 FPS I've seen and well worth the price.
Ich habe dieses Spiel in der Early-Access-Phase gekauft und war anfänglich höchst begeistert wegen der mir von DoD:S bekannten Maps. Als die dann - wohl aus Lizenzgründen - verschwunden sind, passierte einige Zeit nichts. Fortschritte waren nicht zu erkennen und irgendwann hat es einfach niemand mehr gespielt. Betrugsvorwürfe machten die Runde. ABER: Ende 2019 kam die Wende. Mehrere Live-Events vor dem Launch und dann endlich der Launch. Das Spiel stellt eine Symbiose aus den guten alten Tugenden von Day of Defeat: Source, moderner Grafik und Gameplay dar. Meine größte Hoffnung besteht darin, dass alle alten DoD:S-Veteranen, die wie ich beim Original mittlerweile Augenkrebs kriegen, auf dieses Spiel umschwenken und dass sich wieder so eine großartige Community etabliert, wie wir sie von damals gewohnt sind. Ich für meinen Teil habe die Hoffnung noch nicht aufgegeben.

Grave amélioré par rapport à sa sortie initial, très bonne immersion !
Hit Box de ouf, personnellement, c'est le seul jeu en tête qui touche autant, ultra précis.
Puis un Kiff de jouer Allemand / Anglais / US ou RUSSE ! Manque les Italiens et Français, dommage.

Similar to Day of Defeat Source. Some elements are a bit easier perhaps. I think there is less recoil in the heavier support class weapons. The graphics are nicer. Surprisingly, it seems to play as smoothly for me as DoDs (on a 2.5 year old ASUS gaming laptop). I set the graphics on LOW all the way across the board (instead of the MEDIUM setting that came with installation on this laptop). It still seems quite good graphically and I don't know what I'm missing. There appears to be at least one exploit wherein a player was either in spawn or spectate (what someone said in-game) and was somehow lobbing a continual stream of nades (couldn't see them...was more like mortar fire) just outside of my team's spawn. Someone banned that player, so that took care of it. The developer seems to be willing to tweak it and work on fixing flaws and making it better. There are more teams to choose from (4 instead o just two), and various weapons and weapons and feature unlocks that come by leveling up via experience and playing performance, though nothing you can't play without or feel at a disadvantage for not having them. This may become the successor to DoDs imo. (I purchased this game on sale for $19.99. It's the only game besides DoDs that I've ever purchased for myself.)
UPDATE (Nov 25 2022): Unfortunately, the game never gained traction with players, was sparsely supported at first and then unsupported shortly thereafter. The potential player community never developed and at this point has no reason to try. The number of public servers is down to 3 as far as I can tell, and they only offer a few bots max and never any real human players. It's effectively a dead game. I can't get it to come up in my library for some reason and have to find the game in the Store and then click "PLAY" there. It shows me as owning it. Not a big deal as I don't see any real reason to play it for more than a few minutes from time to time just to enjoy some of the unique elements over DODS.
My initial review was very negative, and now my opinion has changed a bit. Despite this, [b]I still cannot recommend the game in it's current state[/b]. If this current version is how the game initially launched onto early access then I might recommend the game. Knowing this is the full release version out of early access, I genuinely can't recommend it. It honestly feels like very early alpha version of a Day of Infamy/Day of Defeat clone. Here are a few reasons why this mostly isn't worth a buy currently:

Overall, I backed this game from day one and am a fan of this style. If you like where the game is heading and want to support it regardless of it's current state go ahead, but the playerbase is waning. I will definitely keep up to date with this game in the hopes that it improves so that I can change my review.

My biggest issue instantly with the game was how clunky it felt. I really believe the reason games like dod and counter strike were so successful was because the base mechanics felt great in the game and addictive. Whenever I look/move around and sprint It feels unsmooth and very off. I think the movement speed/animations need to be smoothed out or adjusted to be slower as it feels very hectic/twitchy and rough (not in a good way). While I appreciate you added all of these weapons, maps, and other content, I think you guys need to absolutely smooth out the base mechanics and have those come second. Another issue that I only face in this game is, on my i7/GTX 1080/144hz build, I get stutters and screen tearing from just looking around. I also recommend quality of life changes such as being able to see the crosshair as you adjust it and viewmodel fov sliders. Also what is up with the x and y sensitivity sliders?
Years in development with no communication. Finally comes out and still feels like ♥♥♥♥. Bad guin play, bad movement, and getting shot by jumpers. No way near DoD. Just play DoD.
EDIT: Reinstalled and servers are empty, says enough. Play something better.

I tried the 2.0, this new version is much much much better than the 1.0. Its likely a new game.
Day of defeat style, i like it.
Allá por Marzo de 2016 un estudio formado por cuatro personas (literalmente) lanzó una campaña en Kickstarter para producir un videojuego de disparos en primera persona que fuera el "sucesor espiritual" de Day of Defeat. El objetivo era desarrollar un producto que brindara una experiencia de juego lo más parecida a aquel, pero mejorado gráficamente y adaptado a los nuevos tiempos. Ni que decir que la gente se lanzó a apoyar este proyecto y consiguieron recaudar más de cien mil dólares.
En Enero de 2017 el juego se lanzó en acceso anticipado y los meses fueron pasando hasta que la paciencia del personal se fue agotando. La gente llevaba dos años y pico esperando por un juego que se había lanzado con la calidad de una versión alfa (sólo tenéis que leer las reseñas de aquella época para haceros una idea)., y la comunidad se redujo hasta desaparecer. Los desarrolladores seguían trabajando, pero el juego estaba prácticamente muerto y lo que quedaba de su comunidad cabreadísima.
En Agosto de 2019 los desarrolladores se asociaron con un editor (Graffiti Games) y el tema se encauzó finalmente. Los desarrolladores estaban trabajando en una versión muy mejorada (y muy diferente) de la que se encuentra a la venta en Steam, y en Noviembre y Diciembre se han lanzado dos fines de semana de beta cerrada.
Y aquí es donde llego yo al juego. Decidí comprarlo (por cierto, a 20 euros, téngase en cuenta que antes costaba 25) y al instalarlo lo primero que encontré fueron cuatro servidores (pero CUATRO) y no había nadie jugando. Si miráis las estadísticas del juego en Steam Charts son para echarse a llorar, vamos. No obstante me metí para dar vueltas y ver cómo era el juego, y la verdad es que las sensaciones no eran buenas, y la sensación general era la de que estaba ante un juego sin pulir. Como anécdota: en la media hora que estuve probando el juego pude encontrar un bug bastante cachondo: al soltar un arma delante de una pared, ésta atravesaba la pared y caía al otro lado, de manera que ya no podía ser recogida. No entro en el comportamiento de las armas porque ya os digo que estaba completamente solo en el servidor.
Ese mismo día me llegó clave para probar la beta cerrada, así que la instalé y entré. En la beta el juego va como la seda. Los efectos de sonido son la parte más floja, y las animaciones (especialmente las animaciones de muerte) a veces no tienen sentido ninguno (por ejemplo: si te disparan estando tumbado, saldrás volando como si te hubiera explotado una granada debajo). Pero la jugabilidad... AY MI MADRE la jugabilidad.
La mecánica de juego es calcada a la de Day of Defeat. Nadie salta y las armas no tienen skins estúpidas de colores (un saludo, desarrolladores de Batallion 1944). Los mapas tienen el tamaño correcto para albergar partidas de 12 vs 12 y utilizan el viejo (y querido) sistema de captura de puntos (banderas) de Day of Defeat (un saludo, desarrolladores de Day of Infamy).
AL FIN un juego de la Segunda Guerra Mundial que mezcla jugabilidad y realismo, en el que los niños rata no entran porque no se puede disparar saltando. AL FIN un juego para mí, y para todos los que hace veinte años nos dejamos los ojos jugando a Day of Defeat.
El juego incorpora un sistema de clases en el que es posible elegir el equipamiento dentro de una gama de armas específica de cada clase. Las armas se desbloquean subiendo niveles (como ya hemos visto en otros títulos como la saga Battlefield). Desconozco cómo encajará esto en el entorno competitivo del que se ha hablado en alguna ocasión.
Los controles son idénticos a los de Day of Defeat: andar, correr, agacharse, tumbarse, saltar. Aunque saltar en este caso sólo nos servirá para subirnos a determinados elementos del mapa. Las armas tienen dos modos de uso: desde la cadera (con un punto de mira en el centro de la pantalla) y "a vista de mira" (iron sight) en el que la precisión es mucho mayor. Si te agachas o te tumbas consigues un mejor control del retroceso, que para algunas armas es realmente grande.
El sistema de juego invita a pensar rápido y a actuar despacio. Las carreras locas para capturar banderas a saltos aquí no tienen cabida. Busca una posición, elimina lo que veas, lanza una granada de humo para que no te revienten MGs y francotiradores, y avanza hasta otra posición segura antes de que llegue la siguiente oleada de refuerzos.
Ah, y no mueras.
Si la comunidad responde, esto puede molar mucho, chavales.
Versión tl;dr
- La versión a la venta en Steam actualmente (Diciembre de 2019) NO merece la pena.
- La versión beta que está en pruebas (y que lanzarán en Enero de 2020 si todo va bien) SI merece la pena. Pero mucho.

He de cambiar mi opinión sobre los mapas oficiales: El juego soporta 32 jugadores (16 vs 16), pero parece que los mapas están pensados para 16 (8 vs 8), lo cual hace que muchos de ellos resulten completamente desequilibrados y a pesar de que son muy bonitos, son HORRIBLES para jugarlos con tanta gente. Están diseñados de forma que uno de los dos bandos se va a quedar encerrado, perdiendo la partida irremediablemente.
Esperemos que los mapas custom diseñados por la comunidad hagan lo que los desarrolladores claramente no han sabido hacer.
Aún así no cambio mi recomendación. Es un MUY buen juego y un digno heredero de Day of Defeat.

Unreal Engine 4 - Entwickler habe ich in meiner Gruppe aktiv gefördert. Unter der Vielzahl der Unreal Engine 4 - Games, die es mittlerweile gibt, ist dieses Spiel eine Tragödie. Gleich nach Release wurde scheinbar die Produktion eingestellt, dennoch die Hoffnung am Leben erhalten, dass daraus etwas werden könnte.
Seit 1,5 Jahren erscheint weder ein Update, Patches oder neuer Content.
Mit anderen Worten, muss Steam solche Produkte, prinzipiell, umgehend von der Plattform entfernen. Warum ? Weil immer wieder Spieler das Produkt kaufen, dann aber feststellen, da passiert nichts. Vor allem bei Multiplayer-Games, wie in dem Fall, spielt das keiner mehr.
Warum also kaufen ?

Steam, Valve, trägt so zur systematischen Irreführung bei. Die in den Verlust der eigenen Kaufkraft mündet. Unter 2 Stunden Spielzeit kann man zwar noch umtauschen, doch das ist nicht immer der Fall. Wenn du ein Spiel kaufst, wo du nicht weißt, vor allem im Early Access, was daraus wird im nachhinein, dann bist du über deine 2 Stunden lange hinaus. Und dann ?
Sitzt du auf einer Kartei-Leiche, auf einem Spiel, was zwar deine Bibliothek füllt, aber ist das effizient ? Tun, kannst du damit nichts mehr. Und dein Geld ? Könnte besser angelegt sein !
Keine Empfehlung für Abzocke, Cash-Grabbing oder ähnliches.
Übrigens führt das auch zum großen Vertrauensverlust, was man oft in den Reviews lesen kann, wo sich die Wut kanalisiert. Eine Sache, der auch zuwenig Aufmerksamkeit geschenkt wird. Egal von welcher Seite aus !

이 게임은 명불허전 갓겜이다. 데이 오브 디피트의 정신적 후속작을 자처한 것 답게 기존 데이 오브 디피트 시리즈의 개성을 매우 잘 살려서 잠깐이나마 추억을 되살려보는 아주 좋은 시간을 만들어줬다.
근데 이런 미친 게임 세상에 사람이 1명도 없어서 환불 긔긔~~!!!

This game is garbage. I purchased the game quite a few months ago, and it has undergone almost no development. First off, there is nobody ever playing it. The servers are always completely empty, as I'm sure every player has given up on this awful game. Second, this game has a MAJOR glitch. The title screen has a sort of green, blinky effect. This occurs with my friend's copy of the game as well, and it is quite annoying. However, what you may not know, is that this glitch is EXTREMELY DANGEROUS. I opened my game, and left my PC to make a sandwich. When I returned, the screen was still a blinky mess. As I later found out, the image of the title screen had been BURNED into my monitor. This is unacceptable. I payed $25 for a game that no one ever plays, and that PERMANENTLY DAMAGED my computer. If I had the option to refund this game, I would in a heartbeat. DO NOT BUY.
There was a lot of hype for this game amongst the Day of Defeat community. Looking back almost a year now it is funny to think of all the existing clans and realism units which were planning to move to this game and even funnier to think of all the clans and units which formed to play this game. Shame it turned out to be rubbish. I really hope there is still some way this can be a good game but as it stands it is not worth playing. Developers, if you have not abandoned this game then please add bots. They don't have to be good bots. The least you can do is give those of us who bought this game some fleshy targets to shoot at because NOBODY is playing this game.

Dev attitude towards its very small playerbase is bad. After taking away ads they suggest if you want ads, to just go play another game.
Taking away a game mechanic like ads is absurd if you think its going to help build your playerbase. You have no playerbase the way it is. I'd suggest listening to your community rather than thinking you know whats best for your game. With how poor the game is turning out in regards to your playerbase, I'd say its clear you don't know what is best.
I pay for your game and you tell me to go play another game because you don't want to listen to the feedback of your community. Ok...
When this game was first announced on Kickstarter, there was alot of hype. People liked what the devs were saying about this game, and people couldn't wait to get it. I personally know at least 10 people who pledged money to the game, and curretnly 26 of my Steam friends own the game. With each update, the devs are pushing towards a WW2 version of CSGO, which is not the direction they said they would be taking during the Kickstarter, or the initial release of the game. DOW has a ton of performance issues for a game that doesn't have AMAZING graphics. (The graphics are good, but I shouldn't be at 30 - 40 fps with my system). This was just another cash grab for the developers. DON'T BUY THIS GAME.

Ich empfehle diese Spiel zum jetzigen Zeitpunkt nicht zum Kauf weiter, da das Spiel an sich viel spass macht allerdings gibt es noch zu viele Bugs und der größte und nervigste der wahrscheinlich niemals gefixxt wird ist: das man unter der Server liste keine vollen Server findet geschweige denn Deutsche außerdem findet man nur leere Server selbst etliche male neu Installiieren und starten hat nichts gebracht.

The game started out well. Lots of promises and I noticed that the devs actually improved things.
A frew months later they ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up everything. Modified the maps, added INVISIBLE WALLS so you can't jump anymore to specific spaces which makes the game feel like you're playing in f'ing tunnel. And it would be fine if they were improved recoil, sound and animation glitches and made the jumping mechanic better. But no. They made everything worse.
And in the end, THEY REMOVED IRON SIGHTS.
This game is dead to me now. If I could, I'd ask my money back...

PS2時代のゲームを100名対戦にしたようなFPSでゲームとしては値段相応の面白さ＆懐かしさがあったが、如何せん人が居なければプレイしようがない。
ゲームとしては面白かったので良評価。しかし何かプレイヤーを増やす努力を開発側でしてくれないとこのまま終わると思われる
I know this game is early access, but it seems to me the development team at Driven arts really doesn't have a clear vision of what they want in this game, or if they do they have changed their minds on what they want this game to be.
It started out as a great game, but now is nothing more than an inferior clone of the 12 year old Day of Defeat Source.
I do NOT recommend this game. If you like Day of Defeat Source, just stick with that. Gameplay is better and it is much less resource intensive.

Over one YEAR later, and still no update, and no game. Anybody who still believes these scammers are actually going to release this game are delusional.

Over TWO years later and still nothing but empty promises from this rip-off dev group.
Now they say game release in 2020... I'll believe it when I see Steam telling me there is an update. But of course I don't believe THAT is ever going to happen.
It started out good, need some work and instead of the devs actually trying to work out the flaws they had with ADS they decided to just remove it. Don't know if they can't or what but i spent 10 plus hours everytime they had a patch to go in and see if it was getting better but it was not and with the last patch that removed ADS all together i uninstalled the game. Just lost out on 24.99. Stay away the community is small and no one ever plays it. A lot more are jumping ship since last patch.

Ich finde schade, dass ich es so sagen muss, aber es gint einfach keine Spieler mehr, obwohl jeden Monat Updates geliefert werden. Es ist an sich ein sehr gutes Spiel mit viel Potenzial. Die Enteickler schaffen es aber einfach nicht die Spieler wieder zurück zu holen. Das könnte aber schon daran liegen, dass es immer noch kein Rangsystem gibt. Des Weiteren gibt es bisher nur vier Karten und die Community kann immer noch keine eigenen Karten veröffentlichen. Die meisten Server haben leider auch meistens einen Ping von 140 bis 170. Komme ich aber nochmal kurz zum Positiven. Die Karten sehen gut aus und es ist mal ein anderes Konzept als das von Call of Duty oder Battlefield. Zu dieser Zeit kann ich das Spiel aber leider nicht empfehlen aufgrund der geringen Spielerzahlen (meist sind gar keine auf den Servern).

Ich finds gut! Ich zocke seit Jahrzenten DoD und irgendwie kommt einem alles bekannt vor!
Aber gebt dem Spiel etwas Zeit. Alles funktioniert etwas anders (die Waffen und das Gameplay), aber die Grundsätze sind da und durchaus gut. Ebenfalls finde ich es gut, dass hier wesentlich mehr Wert auf das Gameplay gelegt wurde. Die Grafik könnte zwar hier und da etwas besser sein, aber wer wie ich von DOD:S kommt dem gefällt es. Viel Potential für epische Schlachten ist jedenfalls vorhanden. Auch stimmt es, das die Server noch nicht wirklich voll sind. Aber wenn dann fetzt es :D .
Ich hoffe wirklich, das mit dem Free Weekend und dem späteren release viele Spieler hinzu kommen!

Having played the genre extensively, this is by far the worst addition to it. I'd rather play Heroes and Generals.
Play dods. If dods is too old for you, play Day of Infamy. Avoid this game like the plague.

There is absolutley no servers with people to play with .... this is a month + after the game is released and one server that has people in it .. its full i cant get in .. and the rest is empty... game plays choppy also on my rig that can more than handle this crap .... dont buy it ....
Nouvelle evaluation (MAJ du 09 juin 2017) suite update du jeu hier.
Un échange avec un dev du jeu plus bas dans l'évaluation (MAJ du 09 avril 2017).
Jeu en EA actuellement depuis maintenant 5 mois. Nombre de joueurs quotidien très limité (sous la barre des 50 joueurs quotidiens depuis 3 mois et sous la barre des 30 joueurs depuis 1 mois) comme vous pouvez le constater ici ( https://steamdb.info/app/454350/graphs/ ) parce qu'il manque cruellement de contenu, que l'EA est sortie beaucoup trop tôt, que bcp de joueurs ont été déçus et que les DEV ont du quasiment tout reprendre à "0" depuis le mois d'Avril 2017.
Le jeu est sorti avec 4 maps puis 1 map a été retirée très vite (il s'agit de Thunder). Il a donc fallu jouer sur seulement 3 maps dont 1 (OMAHA) qui n'est pas vraiment une map intéressante à jouer s'il n'y a pas de jeu d'équipe. Les Devs ont donc pondu une 4ème map il y a peu (dow_foy) avec plein de bugs...qui ont été pour la plupart réglés depuis.
La jouabilité et le gameplay sont en constante évolution. Les devs font des tests pour savoir ce qui peut plaire ou non. La majorité de la communauté venant de DoD ou DoD:S, ils ont forcément envie d'un clone. Donc la jouabilité, le recul des armes, etc... se rapprochent de DoD.
Donc pour les armes par exemple, ils préférent le tir au jugé (ou à la hanche) plutot que le tir en visant (plutot orienté CoD et que je préfère largement pourtant). D'ailleurs la dernière MAJ du 08/06/2017 viens de supprimer la visée pour toutes les armes sauf les rifles. Autant dire qu'il s'agit d'un parti pris totalement orienté clone de DoD même si sur Cs il n'y a pas de visée non plus. MAIS, le recul n'a rien à voir entre DoW et CS. DoW, c'est carrément du random shot, en tout cas largement plus que sur CS. Les armes ont une dispersion et un recul hallucinant et pour les contrôler au niveau de la souris, je vous souhaite bien du courage. Par exemple, pour tenter de compenser le recul du BAR en tir automatique, je dois monter (je joue en souris inversé) la souris sur la totalité de mon tapis qui fait bien 30 cm dans la hauteur...
De plus, le système des armes est mal équilibré selon moi. Certaines manquent de rof (de cadence de tir), d'autres ont un cof trop important (une dispersion). Avec les dernières MAJ, les DEVs ont essayé de limiter les problèmes donc pour mieux maitriser le recul on doit soit s'accroupir soit s'allonger. Le problème, c'est que ca ne suffit pas pour bien contrôler la dispersion des balles. Donc, la dernière solution reste de full spray et de prier que 2 balles random touche le joueur...(2 balles suffisent pour tuer un joueur avec la plupart des armes et 1 seule peut suffire avec les rifles). Pas vraiment ce que je recherche dans un jeu...
Ajouter à ça des cartes mal pensées et donc mal équilibrées et qui avantagent certaines faction par rapport à d'autres... plus des bugs de sons qui ne permettent pas de savoir ou se trouvent précisémment les joueurs en écoutant les bruits...
J'ai donc arrété de jouer à DoW depuis plusieurs semaines car le jeu est barbant et répétitif. En public, malgré 2 modes de jeu (domination sur 3 maps et detonation sur Omaha), peu de gens jouent les objectifs... on se retrouve donc en TDM et c'est pénible sur le long terme. En plus, les maps ne sont pas super bien étudiées et doivent systématiquement faire l'objet de mises à jour pour ajouter et/ou modifier des éléments de maps. Donc quand vous pensez connaitre et/ou maitriser une map, vous vous prenez une MAJ qui rajoute une rue, qui décale les drapeaux à prendre, qui ferme des fenetrès ou des sorties, etc...
Pour ma part, je continue à suivre l'évolution du jeu de loin mais sans y jouer. Je viens de tester le jeu avec la dernière MAJ (08/06/2017)... pour ma part, c'est pire qu'avant en jouabilité donc rebelotte, je ne joue plus à ce jeu.
Etant un ancien joueur de CoD² et 4, d'Alliance of Valiant Arms, j'attends plutot avec impatience Batallion 1944 qui semble plus correspondre aux feelings qu'on pouvait avoir avec ces anciens FPS (en terme de mouvements, de gameplay, de sensations, etc...).
Un point positif quand même, je trouve que les graphismes sont sympa même s'ils se rapprochent d'un style "arcade". M'enfin, je n'achète pas un FPS (soit disant compétitif ou avec un potentiel compétitif) pour les graphismes...
En conclusion, je dirai que DoW semble être une pale copie de DoD pour le moment sauf qu'on ne ressent rien de spécial à jouer à DoW tellement c'est barbant et répétitif...
DoW n'a rien de CoD 2 et 4, ni de CS, ni des autres FPS plutôt réalistes type Red Ochestra ou Rising Storm. On est vraiment sur du clonage de DoD avec un type de jeu très particulier.
Donc pour ceux qui veulent un FPS WW2 un peu réaliste (et pas arcade du style des CoD 1ers du nom), je vous recommande de tester d'autres jeux (Day of Infamy, etc.), en tout cas, pour le moment.
Pour info, je modifierai l'évaluation en tant que positive si le jeu s'améliore effectivement dans le bon sens et pas juste pour supporter un jeu qui n'est pas bon au final... (pour les DoD harder :) )

The concrete things i was waiting for are : more contents for sure, more maps (but maps with no big bugs, well studied, not only straight lines but closed quarter combat, and so on...), the map editor release, more types of game (and not just detonation and domination that are equals to TDM... Capture The Flag and Search & Destroy could be fun for sure), improve the weapons to a better balance and improve the gameplay (jump, ads, reloading, précision while aiming, kneeling, crouching and so on...), improve the visibility of the players, and surely more things i didn't remember atm.... I know it sounds that there are many stuffs to be adressed and/or improve... but it's my feeling and what i'm waiting about to replay this game... And if i'm talking about the weapons and the aiming experience, it's because, i don't really know where you wanna go with them... smthg like DoD or smthg between DoD & CoD... i really don't know. I follow Bat44 aswell and the game experience is very clear with it... it's about CoD2 and CoD4 promod.(édité)

@semperfiiii Thanks for sharing that, more maps are coming, the map editor we are baking internally with mappers who have shown initiative in UE4, game modes we will probably focus on domination, the next 3-4 maps will be close quarters and we will balance weapons around them once they are out. We've taken some steps to improve visibility by lightening character models but this is really sometihng that comes down to the map textures so we are aiming to use lighter textures in our new maps. We are going to lean more towards DoD gameplay now that CoD is ww2

As a longtime WW2 FPS player, I was hopeful that Days of War would be good. Unfortunately it isn't good in any way, and I have no hopes for it improving as the dev team is utterly clueless.
Positives:
It's a WW2 FPS shooter
It has good registration
Negatives:
Server browser rarely works
Game bugs constantly require it to be restarted
Game is awfully optimized
Few maps, all of which are awful
Mapmaker is perpetually "near release"
No one plays this game, constant reduction in players since EA release
Prone diving while shooting
Uninterested devs
Bad weapon balance
Sounds don't work properly
Grenades don't work properly
Shooting while prone crawling
Devs not interested in creating game for competitive play
To sum all of this up for you, the devs created an identical replica of the map "donner" from Day of Defeat, without permission from Valve, and had their game immediately pulled from the store for stealing IP. This is how clueless they are on basic gave development. I get that this is their first game, but I don't really think copyright is a novel idea in 2017. These devs are so clueless and disinterested in their own game, that they begged everyone in discord to go and write positive reviews to counteract the negatives ones, instead of accepting responsibility for producing a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ game, it's everyone elses fault for not liking it.
If they completely 180 on development and stop catering to realism and casual players then this game could turn around. At this stage, it is practically unplayable and has no indication it will ever change. This is the single worst game purchase I've ever made.
Edit: I played the game again after getting a message from the devs asking me to check out their new "relaunch". This game doesn't deserve the amount of time it would take to list all of it's problems so I'll keep it short for you; it's bad, the devs are bad, and I wasted my money. 2 years for a relaunch that was worse than the original and a bump from 2 to 30 average players.

Talk about your classic nostalgic pump and dump. I was fully torqued for this game, bought it as soon as it was available. Played numerous seasons in both DoD 1.3 and DoD:S across multiple leageues and LANs. The devs promised a game that would have the competitive community at the forefront. After a few subpar patches it became clear that is not the direction they are going. Balance patches over compensate for minor problems (added way too much recoil to rifles and basically NO recoil for assaults). Don't be surprised when the $30 DLC is called Nights of War and there are pitch black maps where you have to have dedicated torch bearers. Stay away unless you only want to pub a mediocre WW2 shooter.

Game has HUGE potential to be good,But its just not there right now.
The maps layouts & spawns need seriusly looking at,because all you seem to do is spawn,move out of the spawn point and you wont be able to move because you will be pinned by 10 of the enemy team hiding watching your spawn.
And it wasnt just a one off match it was like this,every single time i played with diffrent people/time.
Devs,You should consider making this game FREE while its in testing phase/early development..listen to peoples feedback and suggestions,then when the game is good of course sell it,Those that will have enjoyed playing it during Alpha/beta for free will buy it.
Right now the game isnt worth £20.

Во-первых это некудышная отимизация, такие игры как многопользовательский продукт должны иметь хорошую оптимизацию даже на ранней стадии доступа. Почему пошла такая тенденция выпускать сырые игры на рынок под предлогом что дальше будет лучше, а лучше может и не быть...... А деньги берут как полноценный продукт, бред.
Plays like ♥♥♥♥ and is blindingly ugly. DoD:S, an unloved game released 12 years ago is still more playable. Has "potential" but its pretty cheeky to rush to early access this game and charge NZD $30. "Potential" is not worth the asking price. The servers are also empty in Aus/NZ.
Grundsätzlich ist es schwer einen EA Titel schon im Vorfeld zu beurteilen. Immerhin ist das Spiel ja noch nicht fertig. "Days of War" möchte ein Konkurrent zu anderen FPS WW2-Shooter sein. Schafft es das auch?
Grundsätzlich ist "Days of War" ein solider 2. Weltkriegsshooter. Man kann ihm sehr gut mit Valves Shooter "Day of Defeat" vergleichen. Wenn der Ping eines Servers passt, dann hat man auch eine schöne Performance. DoW besitzt noch kleinere Mängel, mit denen ich aber noch nicht Hart ins Gericht gehen möchte. Dieses sind unter anderem fehlerhafte Hitboxen von Gegenständen, Netcode, etc.
Beworben wird der Shooter unter anderem mit 100 Slots Server und Fotorealistische Maps, sowie ein authentisches Weltkriegsgefühl. Es gibt 9 verschiedene Klassen und man kann aus insgesamt 20 Waffen wählen. Bis jetzt gibt es nur die möglichkeit auf 32 Slots Server zu spielen. Die 100 Slots Server werden erst freigegeben wenn die Performance des Spiels passt. Es soll also mal Massenschlachten geben. Ob die Performance das hergibt wird sich noch zeigen müssen. 100 Mann Server hören sich zwar Interessant an, aber ich denke darunter könnte das Spielgefühl leiden, da es schon schwierig genug ist auf 32 Spieler Server voranzukommen. Auch die Maps sind relativ klein gehalten und sind momentan alles andere als Massenschlachten tauglich, zumindest für meinen Geschmack. Wir können also hoffen das es noch mehr größere Maps für Massenschlachten geben wird. Bis jetzt gibt es 3 verschiedene Maps die es in verschiedenen ausführungen gibt: Sommer, Winter. Die Entwickler haben aber schon 2 weitere Maps angekündigt die noch 2017 ins Spiel finden sollen. Darunter eine Italienische Map und der Wald Foy in den Ardennen. Einen Map-Editor soll es auch noch in geraumer Zeit geben.
Mit dem Authentischen Weltkriegsgefühl, da kann das Spiel noch nicht wirklich Punkten. Der Sound ist nicht gerade der beste, man hat aber versprochen diesen noch zu Verbessern. Auch Effekte hat es schon mal bessere gegeben. Die Screenshots sehen zwar alle super toll aus, aber ingame dachte ich mir dann auch: "Hübschere Texturen wären sicherlich auch nicht verkehrt gewesen". Das ist aber nur meine Meinung. also Luft nach oben hat das Spiel alle male.
Das Spiel hat zwar Potenzial und wird auch mit Interessanten Features beworben, jedoch kann es auch nicht mehr Punkten als andere Titel. Unter dem Strich: 9 Klassen, 20 Waffen, 3 Maps (Momentaner Stand 20.2.17)
Es ist ein neueres und hübscheres "Day of Defeat". Natürlich befindet sich das Spiel noch im Early Access und man muss abwarten was daraus passieren wird. Ich sage nicht das, dass Spiel schlecht ist, jedoch ist es keine Revolution oder hebt das Genre auf eine neue Ebene. Ich bin mal gespannt was die Zukunft bringen wird, jedoch bin ich noch nicht davon überzeugt das es sich von anderen Titeln abheben kann.
Wer mit sich hadert sich das Spiel zu kaufen, dem kann ich es Empfehlen und wird seinen Spaß haben, der auf solche Shooter steht. Man wird aber auch nichts verpassen wenn man jetzt noch wartet und schaut wie die Entwicklung vorangeht.
O jogo até que é bom e tem bastante potêncial, porém ainda não compensa comprar agora, pois ainda está muito no Early Acess. Tem pouquíssimas coisas ainda, e está repleto de bugs.
Recomendo esperar um tempo antes de comprar esse jogo.

This game is Literally Day of Defeat: Source. Don't get me wrong, this is a good thing. Everyone here is looking for Hardcore Search and Destroy call of duty and not understanding that the game isn't trying to be anything than a remake of Day of Defeat. The graphics upgrade and new weapons are worth it alone. The main difference between Day of Infamy and Days of War is the speed and objectives. Watch gameplay and decide, but there's definitely room for both of these games in the genre. Each has their own playstyle and role.
Pros: Great gunplay and map design.
Cons: Lack of maps and poor sound design.
I'm really looking foraward to the development of this game. The guys at Driven Arts are taking on the AAA game industry with grace! I love supporting these FPS indie titles. Keep up the great work boys!
La temática del juego es muy atractiva, pero cabe recordar que el juego fue lanzado en "Early Access" y quizás no sea ni un cuarto del reflejo de su versión final de cara a este año o quizás el próximo.
Hay pocos servidores (12/18/26/32 jugadores) y muchos de ellos (si es que no 2 de cada 5) están protegidos con contraseña (y no pertenecen a ninguna comunidad por lo visto). Las físicas del juego son medias extrañas así como las animaciones de humo y explosiones (se nota un cuadradito en dichas zonas donde se produce). La decoración no esta mala, pero digamos que le falta muchisimo.
Y lo peor del titulo es sin lugar el TK (Team Kill), hay jugadores que terminan -30 (mataron a 30 compañeros de equipo) y le falta un poco mas de señalizacion para los modos de juegos (quizás una descripción o algún tutorial antes de iniciada la ronda).
En cuanto a la optimización esta ahí no mas, ni muy mala optimización ni muy buena, pero a mi me va 55-62fps jugando en alto a 900p.
Esperemos que su versión final o despues de un par de update mejore este titulo, porque podria ser un gran titulo si se mejoran estas cosas que mencione

Si vous êtes fan de Day of Defeat vous ne pouvez pas passer a côté ! Days of war est pour moi le parfait "remake" , immersif et coopératif le gameplay est 100% Dodesque. Le jeu est en early access mais est totalement jouable , l'équilibrage des équipes est très correct. il y a plus de classes d'armes qu'avec ce bon vieux Dod dont un Fusil à pomp qui raviera les renards qui aiment se cacher dans les batîments :p

- j'ai hâte d'avoir des maps suplémentaires, et Omaha beach resizée pour les 100 joueurs ^^
- Il manque la petite ambiance musicale de début et fin de partie.
- les grenades ont besoin d'être taffées , car les rebonds ou murs invisibles gâchent les lancés de type aventureux :(
- la hit nox et le ping sont plutôt bien géres pour de la early access, c'est un bon point.
- le prix est un peu fort pour le contenu du moment, mais rien ne vous presse car l'avenir sent bon la poudre.
- le Friendly Fire !! <3 la base <3
- un des avantage de ce jeu pour l'avenir est : le créateur de maps :p
- le petit plus produit du DOW c'est le moteur climatique qui change le gameplay d'une map (nuit , brume ou ensoleillé)
Pour conclure : fan de dod prenez les yeux fermés ! pour les autres attendez plus de contenus et une steam sold ;)
Great game, has a great Day of Defeat vibe and potencial to be a much better game with modern features once they implement it. It's Early Access, don't expect a fully featured game right now, expect a game with a huge future ahead of it.

Everything below still stick, but now there are also levels and bots... but it's still clunky and fugly and broken in a lot of ways in regards to achievements, guns and hit registry. It's nice with the addition of new guns that you can unlock, but the guns are really not much of an improvement, the level requirements are nuts, and it's also really annoying that if you don't stay for the end-game summary your progress is lost in every way - I can understand that as a way to motivate people to keep playing, which would be perfectly fine IF it was actually a nice game.
There is also a Leaderboard. Both Local and Global. At the time of this writing I am number 1 globally and number 1 in regards to friends, but it doesn't represent my skill in any way. It just means that I kill a lot of bots and cap a hell of lot of flags in the process. The leaderboard is silly and stupid in every way and means absolutely nothing - even less, it's actually kind of embarrassing to be on it at all. I am pretty sure that number one do the same.
My initial assessment that this game must have been done by devs that truly hate assault and support still fits my initial impression, but it's even worse. It feels as if Headshots are everything and bodyshots are nothing. There is also a slow-death animation that confuse me a lot, that cause me to waste more bullets killing something that is already dying... Somehow dead is not really dead until it drops.
It's been... what? Three years from beginning and apart from making "nice" with the maps, the gameplay and color balance haven't been improved at all. It's like playing a slightly improved version of the original fugly as hell dod reworked with an extremely bland and dull color palette. Without the map I would be completely lost in regards to objectives, because those flags are really easy to miss and the progress bar is on the same dark bland color palette. Color design is really poor all around.
Btw, models are not solid at all. Enemies can run straight through you and when you chase an enemy with a knife they can suddenly disappear in front of you and appear right behind you...

I am trying really hard to like this game, but I am constantly failing. I keep trying, but damn..
I would not recommend this game at the current price for any other reason than to revitalize your interest in whatever game you think that this game should be the spiritual successor of. For my part I feel that this game is lightyears away from the Day of Defeat: Source I know so well. Even though this is Early Access it has been in devopment for more than eight months and considering what state it's currently in it doesn't bode well for any near future.
The game is fugly, dark and clunky as hell. Tons of features missing to qualify this game as the successor of anything. Lots of clunky stupid and stuttering animations. Weird physics. Clunky gameplay. Extremely unbalanced weapons - someone on the dev team really hates Assault and Support. Very few and fugly maps and low res textures on everything. Everything seems to be on the same colour palette - I have huge difficulties telling wallpaper and players apart. Lots of inexplicable deaths. Tons of one-shot kills. Protected by neither VAC nor [strike]anti-cheat[/strike] - they've recently added EasyAntiCheat, but it remains to be seen what effect that has.
I've actually upgraded my gfx in order to play this game at the best quality in a reasonably fluent way, but there are some extremely bad design choices at work that makes adding what little quality this game has to offer much more of a punishment than an improvement in any way (you can add fog and lush terrain full of grass and bushes, but it will only obstruct your own view and it doesn't provide you any cover, because you'll be the only one that see it.. That's kind of lame.)
I would suggest that you check back in a few months to see what the reviewers think of this game, because unless you are interested in taking an active part in the development of this game, like providing feedback and suggestions, there is very little to do with it.

Update: Played it for another 6 hours, still fun :D There is one big problem there are only 3 maps. I saw the Kickstarter campaign video and there is a forrest map and where is it ? :( It would be really fun :D Still worth it. imo.

But overall i think this game have a big potential and deservs to be seen.
BTW, in future development, there will be 2 more factions, community will have access to Editor for maps so lots of dam fun! and Free weapons, maps from Developers also... Just lot's to wait on.
But please, don't expect this game to be Battlefield 1...
For an early access game this is brilliant. Days of War has all the foundations to be an awesome competitive FPS title. I am very excited for what the future brings for this game. Even in its present state I am having loads of fun with this game. I highly reccommend it!!

Heavily inspirted by games such as the original Medal of Honor, the original Call of Duty, Day of Defeat and Return to Castle Wolfenstein. Days of War if built in the Unreal Engine 4, which makes the game really user and community friendly.
Its a WWII shooter with oldschool standards: no bull****, you can't drop bombs with your ipad while taking a dump, can't ask for killstreaks nor health regen or any of those crutches. THANK YOU.
Its a class based shooter where you fight in a wide variety of maps/environments and its mostly about skill and team work. This game in on early access but feels really polished. The developers will give full mod support, incluing a level editor, free dedicated servers and complete steamworkshop integration.
It will only get better.

On retrouve bel et bien l'ambiance de DOD :)
Les problèmes soulevés aux dev' semblent pris en compte (CF : MAJ et annonce), à voir si ca dure.
On est sur un vrai early accès, le jeu tourne est basta : le contenu est encore pauvre côté maps, certaines armes sont encore (selon moi) trop déséquilibrés (je ne demande pas non plus d'avoir des armes strictement identiques).
Les dev' semblent avoir besoin de feedbacks pour améliorerle jeux qui en a grandement besoin.
Faut il acheter ou non? Je pense qu'il vaut attendre encore quelques semaines (2-3) pour voir si les dev' se bougent et améliorent le jeu ou non. Pour ceux qui l'ont acheté je pense qu'il n'y a pas de quoi s'en mordre les doigts :p
Ce que je regrette c'est que pres des 2/3 des avis négatives émanent de joueurs ayant joué moins d'une heure...
Je regrette aussi de voir des sites comme NOFRAG balancer des phrases du style "Pour l'heure, 530 joueurs s'affrontent sur Days of War, mais on doute qu'il y en ait toujours autant dans une semaine.", lors de la publication de cet article le jeu n'était dispo que depuis quelques heures (moins de 7h...). Les gars on a pas tous la chance de pouvoir poser une journée de congès et jouer dessuite... laissez le temps aux gens de rentrer du boulot :p et laissez au jeu le temps d'évoluer.
Certains joueurs on demandé aux DEV' de permettre au jeu d'afficher plus de 60FPS... Je pense qu'il vaut mieux faire des demandes sur des choses essentiels comme le son des armes et leurs rééquilibrage, de nouvelles maps etc que de demander à afficher plus de 60FPS, vous ne verrez même pas la différence ;)
Pour ma part je ne regrette pas mon achat, et ai hâte de voir comment va évoluer le jeux :) et recommande le jeu (à voir si je change d'avis).
Para empezar me gustaria hablar sobre el potencial de este juego , es un juego maravilloso a mi modo de ver , ya que tiene todo lo que un shooter "de la vieja escuela" debería de tener , véase tanto la salud del personaje , la mortalidad de las armas , el diseño de los mapas , etc . Otra cosa a destacar es el hecho de que no vaya a haber DLC´S de pago y todo el contenido que se vaya incluyendo al juego sea gratuito , un punto muy a favor . Dejando todo el tema de jugabilidad a un lado(lacual es realmente buena) , el apartado gráfico esta muy bien , al igual que la recreación de los entornos y el sonido de las armas . No hay que olidar que este juego aunque este en una fase muy avanzada , sigue estando endesarrollo y por eso actualmente es lógico , normal y permisible hasta cierto punto que haya algún "bug" . De hecho veo absurdo votar negativamente a un juego el cual estáen desarrollo por la falta de contenido o la presencia de algún "bug" . También es ciertoque el contenido actualmente es algo escaso (referido alos mapas , ya que solo hay cuatro) pero con el tiempo irá aumentando gracias a las actualizaciones . En definitiva creo que están hacieno un gran trabajo con este juego y qué sin lugar a dudas le debéis de dar una oportunidad . Ahora que también me gustaría y vería totalmente adecuado que el precio en vez de 25€ , fuése de 20€ , aunque de todos modos tápoco lo veo muy excesivo . Wer früher gerne DOD gedaddelt hat, dem gefällt auch DOW. Das Grundspiel ist in der
Alpha schon spürbar. Kleine schnelle Maps. Gunplay mit Kimme und Korn.
Wer Taktik sucht ist hier falsch. Maps sind linear und die Frontlinien treffen sich schnell.
Bis Dato kein überladenes HUD trallala mit Trefferfeedback und Punkte gedöns aller Battlefield.
Hoffe das bleibt so.
Reines Player Skill basiertes Spiel. Waffen sind alle stark bis Dato, hoffe das bleibt so. Das Waffen generfe aller The Devision und anderen Games nerft. Shotguns sind halt nun mal stark im Nahkampf...
Die 25€ sind gut investiert.

Ponto positivo por ser baseado na segunda guerra, prefiro guerras antigas ao invés de guerra modernas. Os mapas são interessantes, inpirados em locais que marcaram história, como ohama beach (dia D). A jogabilidade até que esta boa, mas um poco travada, principalmente na hora de jogar uma granada, o recoil das armas esta muito bom, e é muito interessante jogar com a mg42 ou a m1919. No jogo você pode escolher entre américa ou alemanha, e as principais armas para jogar, tem até a bazooca (acredito que vão trazer blindados para o jogo, senão não faz sentido). Algo que eu percebi tbm, quando fica com mais de 20 jogadores na sala, os fps caem bastante, ficando entre 25/35. Os desenvolvedores falaram que ja estao resolvendo isso.
Enfim, apesar de alguns bugs, jogabilidade ñ muito fluida e poucos mapas, pra um early access vale muito a pena, o jogo não esta caro e tem muito potencial!

Ich habe nun ein paar Stunden in dem Spiel verbracht und es macht Spaß. Es erinnert stark an CoD1 / DoD wobei aktuell mmn das Waffenbalancing noch gedreht werden muss. Auch die Hitboxen werden hoffentlich noch angepasst werden.
Für eine Alpha, sehr schön, aber es ist wie gesagt nur eine Alpha! (Mini-Map ist total Unübersichlich, viele Spieler begreifen die Spielmodi nicht, da die Flaggenpunkte nicht gerade auffällig gekennzeichnet sind, viele Soundfiles fehlen noch, Waffensounds sind nicht gerade schön, Hintergrundsgeräusche oder automatische Shoutouts der Spieler fehlen, Kommunikationsmenu/rad fehlt und und und)
Du solltest dir überlegen es zu holen wenn du folgende Dinge magst:
- Skillbasierter non Level Shooter
- klassischer Bewegungstil like CS/DOD...
- Teamplay begeisterung ohne dafür extra belohnt zu werden
- wenn du folgende Spiele mochtest: DoD/DoDS/CoD1+2
- Competives Spielen in Clans (das kann hier wieder eine Hausnummer werden mmn)
Du wirst von DoW definitiv enttäuscht sein wenn du:
-eher auf taktische Shooter magst (Arma/DoI/Ironfront und sowas)
-dir "nur" Infantriekämpfe zu langweilig sind (Du also der große BF Spieler bist)
-du eine niedrige Frustrationsgrenze hast.
-du nicht damit umgehen kannst, dass das Spiel aktuell noch nicht fertig ist.
Days Of War, o que falar deste game do qual joguei tão pouco mas já amo tanto ? E que agradeço a um amigo por ter me apresentado, nota 9 apesar de estar em acesso antecipado mas com atualizações que estão próximas tende a melhorar e progredir muito! Eu apenas sinto falta dos diálogos entre os personagens, de uma boa trilha sonora e obviamente da correção de alguns bugs que com certeza em breve ocorrerão, portanto minha nota para este game é 9/10, tenho certeza de que muito em breve será 10.
Edit: Nem vou baixar de novo este jogo pois vi que está abandonado, uma pena pq o jogo é bom, joguei 45,99 fora.

Я поклонник жанра шутеров и в частности Day Of Defeat, во всех его проявлениях (начиная с бесплатного мода для CS, добравшегося до версии 3.1). Мною любимый Day Of Defeat: Source, безудержно стареет и то что я ждал, так это вовсе не революции в игровом процессе или игры оторванной от корней шутера, некагда созданного поклонниками КС. Я ждал что появится игра способная заменить DOD:S. Да, именно заменить, что означает что сохранить она должна куда больше чем изменить а потерять вообще ничего не должна :) Days Of War, похоже справился :) Из того что бережно сохранено: Режим игры, где захват всех флагов в любом порядке, даёт мгновенную победу. Урон, не позволяющий игнорировать огневые точки противника. Быстрое возрождение, дающее впечатление массовости атаки и повышающее темп игры, поскольку страх игроков долго висеть в наблюдателях минимизируется (делает их смелее). Игра выполнена на современном движке, графика великолепна (для тех кому кажется обратное: не стесняемся заходить в настройки), превосходны звуки выстрелов (не мультяшно-киношные "пияу-бабашки" а именно выстрелы, а если кто попадал под арт-обстрел...) и мелкие приятные дополнения, в виде возможности целиться через прицелы, практически из любого оружия! По началу насторожило выросшее количество классов вооружения, но как оказалось, баланс хорошо выверен и каждый тип оружия разумно отличается от другого, давая владельцу приемущство в той или иной манере игры. Карты хорошо детализированы, нет приевшейся за долгие годы шаблонности элементов, присущих играм сделаным в редакторе для HL2. И что очень важно: сохранена "трудная стрельба" присущая всей серии Day Of Defeat! То есть всё что стреляет имеет вменяемую отдачу и действительно способно наносить урон! Ну где нынче одна-две пульки принсут вам фраг?! В последние годы, очень раздражает стремление разработчиков нивелировать разничу между игроками имеющими опыт и новечками. Чаще других решений, применяется снижение урона (эффекта от попаданий), что делать бегатню "толпой" самой эффективной тактикой, а попытки тренироваться и изучать технику игры, безцельными. И выходит, что-бы добится своего, нужно пыпустит во врага весь магази а потом ещё воткнуть в него осиновый кол... Игра в раннем доступе и из замеченных мной недостатков следующие: Пистолет, как мне кажется великоват (просто больше чем должен быть). Звуки МП-40 и немецкой двухстволки не очень правдоподобные (по моему личному разумению). Наствольная граната перестала рекошенить, нанеся ущерб игровому процессу. Гранату невозможно откинуть, а это было старой и доброй традицией серии. Ну и технические мелочи, в виде "болтающихся" автоматов, оставшихся от убитых и пары "детских" серверных проблем, обычно присущих большинству свеже-вышедших проэктов. Вообщем спасибо разработчикам, это старый добрый ДОД, который обязательно должен держать строй классических продуктов в жанре шутера.

+++ dod à un successeur soyez en sur. En tout cas, c'est le seul jeu en 10ans qui me procure la même sensation. J'ai aimé dod a 15 ans. Aujourd'hui j'en profite pluss.
++ Les trois maps domination. Elles font penser à celles de dod et il y a des longues, des rues et étages qui permettent au pur rifle et au shotgun de s'y affronter équitablement
++ le jeu est assez arcade. Un poil pas assez à mon goût. La vitesse de rechargement par exemple. J'aime la vitesse du perso, un peu lourd et une stamina moyenne meme s'il y a un petit trick pour en profiter de meilleure manière
+ il y a pas mal de monde et c'est maintenant qu'il faut montrer du soutien au jeu. En tout cas ça fait plaisir de voir une commu fr (dowfrance.fr) aussi rapidement avec des anciens de dod qui sont prêts à promouvoir le jeu parce qu'ils sentent aussi que dow, ca sent le dodgo

++ vous comprendrez vite qui sont les anciens doder. Le jeu n'est pas aussi simple que tous ces f2p en carton mais n'est pas aussi compliqué à prendre en main que cs (économie, sound, aim, etc). Mais il est certain que dow à son gameplay bien à lui et il faudra s'y faire avant d'avoir un scoreboard. Faut persévérer :3

- équilibrage des armes. C'est peut être le flou n'aide pas mais j'ai l'impression que les shotguns sont moins performants que dans dod. Et elles font des randoms abuses.

Je l'attendais, j'attendais quelque chose de mieux. Il faut rapidement régler les graphismes, c'est sombre, flou et sans vie. Il faut rapidement proposer du contenu et un mode de jeu haletant montrant la voie aux équipes et joueurs compétitifs. Néanmoins, je pense que le gameplay surpassera ses futurs concurrents (FPS WWII) qui ne devraient pas tarder. Pour tous ceux qui ont kiffé dod, prenez le. Les autres, je ne vous en voudrai pas si vous attendez quelques semaines. D'ici là, les développeurs auront fait du bon taff, je serai encore a fond et j'aurai plaisir à vous défoncer :)

Solo c'è solo un problema al momento(1 giorno di Early Access,aggiornerò la recensione).Problemi di fps,non troppo,se spenderete 5 minuti per settare la grafica almeno 30 fps li farete,e quindi sarà giocabile!

2 giorno da Early Access:Una mappa è stata rimossa per problemi di Copyright,la rimodelleranno e la reinseriranno nelle prossime settimane
3 giorno :update da 14 mb,aumentate prestazioni in generale,aumentata luminosità e circa 20 fps in più su ogni mappa :D

Понравилось:
1) Ориентация больше на классический Day of defeat, а не на source версию.
2) Сохранение основной механики игры.
3) "Хардкорный" шутер - никаких регенов и аптечек. Отдача при стрельбе, смерть с 1-2 выстрелов и все такое.
Не понравилось (минусы можно списать на альфу):
1) Ужасная оптимизация. Компьютер хоть и древний у меня, но 20 фпс на минимальных настройках быть не должно.
2) Исчезающие гранаты в воздухе, застревание в текстурах и т.д.
3) Ооочень странные звуки (понять по звуку шагов и выстрелов где враг невозможно). Порой враг, по звукам стреляющий тебе в спину, оказывается в противоположном конце карты. На сервере из 10 человек получается полная мешанина.
Положительную оценку ставлю так как верю в то, что разработчики доведут проект до ума и будут поддерживать и регулярно обновлять игру на всех стадиях разработки.
Вердикт: на данном этапе Days of War стоит брать только фанатам серии Day of defeat. Незнакомые с оригиналом рискуют не понять сути и забросить игру спустя полчаса.

很多人比较dod，觉得dod和这个差不多，但相对dod来说这个游戏毕竟采用一个新引擎，这就意味它才刚刚开始，有个好的地基，可以给我们更多的方案与遐想，所以发展空间很大。
而对于现在抱有高期望的玩家，一个卖挺贵的游戏里没有pve，人物也略显僵硬，武器声音很奇怪，服务器少也ping高，而且所谓的建造功能也没出现，ea只能给个及格，。但是毕竟还是ea。
游戏好坏现在还不好说，完全取决于制作组的更新频率，被大家认为是2016黑马的团队赚完一波直接走人的情况也多了去了（好像那些游戏大多数都是这个价是吧，这是诅咒吗？）。不过我觉得还是给个好评，路很长，要继续加油啊！

Представляю вашему вниманию обзор на альфа версию игры Days of War.
Days of War – мультиплеерный шутер в сеттинге Второй мировой войны, который предлагает игроку взять на себя роль бойца армии США или же бойца Германии и поучаствовать в самой известной войне XX в. Звучит неплохо, а что на деле? А на деле игра является обновленной в графическом плане копией игры Day of Defeat: Source, которая вышла почти 12 лет назад. Но давайте по порядку.
Геймплей.
Собственно вся игра сводится к тому же, что мы уже видели в DoD:S. В игре два режима – захват контрольных точек и подрыв объектов. Первый режим заключается в захвате всех точек на карте или же захвате большинства точек до конца раунда. Во втором режиме команды делятся на защиту и атаку, соответственно первым надо защитить объекты (как минимум 1 объект должен уцелеть), вторым их подорвать. Все доступные карты на данный момент взяты и перерисованы из DoD:S.
Об оружии.
Соответственно весь набор из DoD:S перекочевал сюда, но кроме этого добавили дробовики, причем немцам дали охотничью горизонтальную двустволку! Надо сказать, что стрелять из оружия непросто – отдача, смещение ствола в сторону при непрерывной стрельбе, убойность оружия – все это в игре есть. Кроме того звук стрельбы радует и сделан хорошо.
О графике.
Игра разрабатывается на движке Unreal Engine 4 и по сравнению с конкурентами, ее графика выглядит достойно. Другое дело, что оптимизация не позволяет полностью этой графикой насладиться. Приходится снижать настройки, чтобы фпс был играбельным (хотя автоопределение ставит все на ультра).
Общая оценка игры.
Плюсы:
- Сеттинг Второй мировой войны
- Графически игра выглядит достойно
- В игру планируют добавить СССР и Великобританию
- Стрельба реализована неплохо, казуалам будет нелегко!
- Цена 450 р. на период раннего доступа
Минусы:
- Оптимизация
- В игре нет свежих идей касательно геймплея, игра самый настоящий клон DoD:S
- Миникарта – она ужасна! Маркеры игрока и объектов сделаны плохо, приходится останавливаться и открывать большую карту.
- Чувствительность к пингу. Комфортно играть можно при пинге ниже 70.
Вердикт.
Игра способна захватить вас на 1 час, дальше начинает появляться осознание того, что все это я уже где-то видел. DoD:S в свое время была, конечно, неплохой игрой, но делать с нее копипаст в наше время как-то неуместно. Посмотрим, что нам предложат разработчики дальше, а пока не советую покупать.

This game is very Day of Defeat if it was on Unreal Engine. In some ways that's a good thing in others this game isn't that great. There's a lot of fixes that need to go into this and certain other WWII games kinda make this not that great but I will give some pros of this game.
Multiple classes and weapons nicely brings choices to the table.
Pro:
This is a fast paced shooter nothing is slow and deaths could be as quick as a single bullet but in some cases it feels more frustrating than say a death in other Realism based games.
Most of the guns feel quite nice but clearly need some balancing. I found most enjoyable weapons to be the classic Mauser Rifle and the M1 Garand even though for some reason one is known as Marksman and the other riflemen.
Visually this game is quite beautiful in the world a textures with believable fog
Cons:
Deaths can be frustrating especially when Friendly Fire is on making it extremely annoying if a team mate killed you.
Some weapons felt broken or need of balance badly. Heck the M1 Garand can't reload mid clip but the game forces the old You can't reload rule even like it's old WWII games, though more recent WWII games let you reload as you please at the cost of the clip or longer reload time. Though the german team can have unlimited G43's which can reload when they like.
Fog can be extremely annoying and shadows are so heavy you sometimes can't see a camping enemy at all.
Lack of customization of weapons each class should let you choose what items to bring as an option such as for example Assault letting you choose between a Thompson SMG or a Grease Gun for example.
Spawn Camping became EXTREMELY frustrating
In the games current beta state it needs a lot of improving. I would more heavily recommend a game such as Day of Infamy over this game even if it is on the old source engine. There is moments in that game that really make me feel a sense satisfaction when I make a kill as compared to say just spraying and praying kills this game has. At it's current price range avoid it until sales.
생각보다 렉이 좀 있음 암드에 맞춰져있다고 들음. 재미는 있음 근데 뭔가 팀데스매치류의 게임이라기보다 섬멸전의 게임이 대다수임 앞으로 개발진이 개발을 할지 안할지 모르겠지만 좀더 여러버전의 매치를 내놓는다면 살만할 게임이 될것같음지금은 살만 하지는 않고 섬멸만 주구장창 해야할텐데 그러기에는 가격이 비싸다고 봄 물론 여러가지의 섬멸맵이 있음컨셉도 다르고 나름 재미는 있음근데 진지빨고 할말한 게임은 아니고 정말 fun dp 중점이 된듯한 게임임스트레스없이 막 할수있는 그런게임임아직 얼리엑세스니까 추천줌 근데 개발이없다면 지금 현상태로는 한 오불정도면 살만할듯

graphiquement il est vraiment super , niveau sons : good , (juste sur un server a 32 sa tire dans tous les sens :p)
25€ un peu cher mais bon ca vallait largement le coups pour l'attente , il s'est fait tellement désiré !
vivement d'autres maps et quelques améliorations serait vraiment bien (comme clarté dans le jeu (y a des fois on voit pas grand chose due au décors (fumée) puis par moment on ne sait même pas d'ou sa vient que je trouve un peu dommage mais avec le temps sa viendra j'espere ;)
j'ai lu que le marksman etait plus ou moins la concurrence du kar98 , sauf qu'il a pas de grenade et il recharge plus lentement sinon ce sont avec les 2 armes que je joue le plus actuellement.
pour tous les grands fans de fps et day of defeat je vous le recommande vraiment on s'habitue assez vite quand même .
В целом неплохо,но оптимизации вообще нет!!!На высоких настройках 35 фпс ,ставлю низкие больше 25 не выдает)))
А если еще много народу играет то вообще труба!!!Ждем обновлений или патча!!Советую подождать с покупкой!!!
2005 ~ 2008 DoD 를 정말 재밌게 했던 저로써는 이 게임이 재미있네요.
dod 시리즈의 연장선이라고 보시면 됩니다.
- 여러개의 병과가 있으며, dod : source 가 2017년에 걸맞는 그래픽으로 돌아왔다고 생각하시면 됩니다.
9개의 병과가 있지만 일반 소총 / 자동 소총 / 샷건 / 저격총 / 기관총 / RPG 총 6개의 병과라고 보시면 됩니다.
- 어떤 병과든지 H ( 구급함 ), J ( 탄약함 ) 키를 누르면 딱 한 번씩 보급이 가능합니다 (본인 및 아군, 모두에게 사용 가능)
- 3-4개 맵 밖에 안해봤지만... 특정 지역 점령, 특정 건물 혹은 사물 폭파미션이 있습니다.
게임 진행 방식도 DOD 랑 똑같습니다.
- *** 새벽 시간대에 게임을 해서인지 몰라도 @@ 아시아 서버에는 사람이 한명도 없으며 @@,
300핑 이상 넘어가는 유럽 서버에는 사람이 정말 많습니다.
- 총기 데미지가 비교적 강하여 한방에 적을 죽이는 재미가 있습니다.(팀킬도 한 방...)
돌격 및 근거리 용도에선 샷건때문에 자동소총(반동 넘나 무서운것)은.... 안쓰게 되네요.
[ 17.02.01 빠른 점사를 사용하면 (딱!딱!딱! 끊어서 쏘기를 빠르게) 연사가 되는 모든 소총이 좋다는 걸 깨달았습니다. ]
- 대부분의 서버에서 팀킬이 가능하며, 실수로 아군사격을 하는 경우는 많아도 일부로 죽이는 사람은 한번도 못봤습니다.
- 게임 팁에 내 발 밑으로 굴러들어온 적군의 수류탄을 E 키로 눌러서 다시 던질 수 있다고 합니다.
시도하려 해봤지만 잡으려고 하는 매 순간마다 수류탄을 맞고 사망하여 확인이 불가능 했습니다..
(17.02.01 적이 던진 수류탄 및 적이 쏜 유탄을 터지기 전에 집어서 던질 수 있는 걸 확인 했습니다.)
- 매우 자그마한 미니맵 때문에 내 주위에 아군이 있는 지 잘 파악이 안되며,
(17.02.01 DOD 처럼 미니맵이 전보다 훨씬 보기 좋아졌습니다. )
일정거리 이상떨어지면 아군인지 적군인지 큰 지도를 보는 것외에는 피아식별이 안됩니다.
물론 미니맵을 잘 보면 되겠지만 갑작스럽게 골목에서 튀어나오는 아군을 적으로 오인하여 사격하는 경우가 참 많습니다.
- 발적화 개적화라는 글이 가끔 올라오는 데, GTX 780,& 8GB Ram 을 사용하면서 60 이상의 프레임을 보장합니다.
가끔 특정지역에서 프레임 드랍이 일어나기도 하지만 큰 문제는 없습니다.
- 총기 사운드, 발자국 소리 정말 좋습니다.
- 굇수들이 출연하기 시작했습니다. 17.02.01
- 개발자들의 열정이 대단합니다. 거의 매일매일 밸런스 패치 및 유저 피드백에 맞는 패치를 내놓습니다.
A játék fantasztikus, kurva jó a grafika, jó a gameplay, van content. Mi kell még?
Jelenleg a játék korai hozzáférésű, de eddig csak 1 bugot táltam. (Az eldobott fegyverek belebugolnak a földbe és táncolnak xD) Jelenleg 4 pája van, de van egy mapeditor amiben lehet saját mapot is készíteni.
A fegyverek használata nem olyan nehéz, egész könnyen bele lehet jönni.
A fejlesztők gondolkoznak egy cs:go ranked játékmód berakásán. (Szerény véleményem szerint MUST HAVE)
Összességében ajánlom a játékot, mert izgalmas DE ha nincs hozzá combos géped akkor szopó van. :P
Én gtx 1060-al i5 6400-al használom és maximumon megy 60 fps-el, de az omaha tengerparton kb 40 fps-em van.
Igen egy gtx 1060-al... Szóval kell hozzá vas. Érdekessége még, hogy a játék lowon szinte ugyan úgy néz ki, ez előny lesz a konzoloknak.

很像以前一些經典的射擊遊戲
以下為待改進之地方:
1.優化還不夠
2.有時會LAG
3.佈景的損害可以做出來
4.場景有點假 跟預告片不符
5.可以把整個人身做出來 不要只看到拿槍的手 腳什麼的也可以做可以看見的更真實
結論:以Unreal Engine4開發 這種等級算很低了
畫面不夠真實 UE4引擎可以做到很好的效果
有待開發商把它完全發揮
如果開發商能注重玩家所給的評論進行修改更新
這會是一個值得期待的遊戲 所以就先給個好評吧

Erstes Fazit:
Sollten die Entwickler ihre Versprechen einhalten und all das liefern was sie uns versprochen haben, wird Days of War ein genialer Shooter mit Mod Support, Map Editor und tollem Umfang! (Wehrmacht, US Army, Rote Armee, Brittische Army).
Das Grundgerüst steht und muss im laufe des Jahres fertiggestellt werden. Wenn das gelingt werden wir mit diesem Spiel noch eine menge Spaß haben.
チラっと一通りの兵科を触ってみた感想
シンプルだけど美味しい、面白い 。
プレイ感覚は最近のゲームで例えると、やったかどうかわからへんなな所とか、広いけど入り組んでるマップとかの点で、
リーン出来ない代わりにむっちゃ軽快な動きが出来る様になったRO2的なものを感じる 。
後、銃のリコイルはトレイラーが言ってる通りかなり跳ねるけど、銃口から明後日の方向には多分行かないっぽいと感じたので、マウスを下ろしながらフルオートするテクニックは役に立つかも。
出会ったバグに関しては、ミニマップが時々消えることぐらいだろうか、今のところは。
これは今後も色んな要素の追加を期待して喜んで応援したいな。
第二次世界大戦を舞台にした昔ながらのFPS。グラフィックはすごくきれい
リーンもなければ特別なアビリティもないから、銃の撃ち方と旗の場所さえ分かれば君も今日から兵隊だ
小マップでの試合の時間は十分程度と短く、気軽に遊べるのも高ポイント。
エイムぢからと立ち回りとチームワークで敵をやっつけよう。買い。
追記:幾度にわたるアプデで、ゴミと良作を行ったり来たりするゲームになりましたが、今は中間位です。正直これ買うなら別のFPS買った方がいいです。開発当初の仕様のままならたのしかったのに。あーあ
这估计是第一份天朝的评测：一个字 差！！！如果你游戏只是个半成品（或许半成品都不是）那就不要拿出来丢人。游戏实际画面与宣传视频相差巨大，就算你把特效全开，画面连05年的DODS都不如！！ 贴图模糊，整体色调不分明（一片屎黄 屎青 ）人物动作僵硬,各种BUG.....失望到家了。早期看宣传视频像胜利之日起源进化版才购买的 期待了好久就这熊样。
