Devs continue to ignore & delete requests to add better Color Blind modes or solutions for the 'Arrow through Colored Circle' quests/missions/trials. They actively delete requests/reports of bugs for this!! STEAM needs to offer refunds, as you have to play longer than 10 hours to get to these situations. I've tried these trials on all of the color blind modes but the Blue & Purple still are almost the same for me.
Its clear accessibility and Disabled gamers are NOT welcome by this company!!
So, I gave to the game chance even so I have seen it's early access and also people complaining or "mentioning it's lacking of content"
After 13hours here is what i think.
-UX/UI in this game is very weird, it remind me games from 2000s on first smartphones 1/10
(+ also there are missing some additional informations like when you are inputing softwood to workbench to create planks... when you hold E it will automatically input them in faster then repeatedly smashing "E" button if I wouldnt ask on discord I wouldn't know)
-combat is working but it's really in need for rework, movements are nice even how character is moving, it's pleasure to see it, but when you get surrounded by wolfes or boars then you will see how it's lacking of touch, for me combat here is 2/10...
-building is here nice, but nothing new, its kinda stereotyp repeating since conan exile, but no bugs and its smooth 6/10.
-also as others say, its lacking of content.. I know its early access, but same as this early access was as well Valheim, Enshrouded, Aska etc. Valheim was also released by small studio and theyr concept was way more playable, and more things to do there. (clocked there 1.3k hours)
So, in the end I'm refunding the game, In my POV its not worthy of 20euros. I wanted to support creation of new survival game with basebuilding, but this is way below my expectations.
Maybe later I will buy it back again but now it's in not even a shape to stay in library...
A nice good crafting building game with certainly some differences.
I'm really enjoing it so far and recommend it.
It has a lot to do. The fighting is really entertaining, and the game is a good challenge.
good combat, simple building not over complicated gameplay, GREAT mobility abilitys so you can cover distance fast, and some puzzles that arent to complex
This is a visually stunning and beautiful game. With how large the game is for early access is so far has been so fun to play. I highly recommend.
Dawn of Defiance is a deep, absorbing sandbox that kept me playing for hours. The mix of questing, exploration, base-building, and resource gathering gives you plenty of ways to play, and the variety of mob strengths and encounter pacing keeps combat feeling fresh and balanced. There’s a satisfying loop of expanding your base, pushing into new zones, and tackling ever-tougher threats.
The developers are clearly engaged with the community and actively improving the game, which shows in steady updates and thoughtful tuning. My one concrete request is more Steam achievements: with so much content and so many playstyles available, a richer achievement set would reward creative play and give additional goals for long-term players.
If you like open-ended survival/strategy hybrids with strong progression and developer support, Dawn of Defiance is well worth checking out.
Very good storyline, and has a great building matrix, and they are just getting started.. lots for the Devs to expand on.

Good game, a few bugs but nothing game breaking so far - update now I cant get the game to even start, little square in the middle of my screen and that is it.... hopefully the devs will catch it

Jugue bastante e incluso ♥♥♥♥ la estamina infinita para poder explorar todo el mapa rapido, y creo que los desarrolladores tienen que hacer al respecto a lo vacío que esta el mundo. En todo lo demas esta bastante bien, pero explore islas enteras en las que habia 3 soldados y absolutamente nada mas. No habia animales, no habia otros enemigos, nada. Tenes que recorrer muchisimo para encontrarte y pelear contra algo que no sean los 3 mismos soldaditos genéricos de siempre que aparecen 1 vez cada 3km recorridos. Hace bastante tengo el juego comprado y ha avanzado poco y nada con respecto a hace un par de años cuando lo jugue por primera vez. Es cierto que es un early acces, pero vamos, a ponerle ganas...

I like it.
Ist wirklich klasse und macht echt Spaß, man hat zwar nicht so viel Bausachen zur Auswahl, aber das sieht dafür ganz nice aus und reicht auch erstmal völlig aus, dafür ist das Spielsystem interessant und man hat einiges zu tun um alles frei zu schalten, man kann wie bei Conan Bauen und auch Quasi überall!
Conan in Rome/Sparta, so würde ich das Spiel beschreiben.
