Pretty great roguelike!
Fluid movement is the name of the game, so it both expects and rewards you for well timed dashes and maintained momentum. That or I might just be a sucker for well implemented parkour/movement mechanics.
Since it is a roguelike, can't really forget to mention build variety and paths - they're ok!
It essentially boils down to fixing your picked weapon's weaknesses and exploiting it's strengths. Though unfortunately it all converges into the same endpoint: making your picked weapon shoot a lot of bullets endlessly and quickly, that preferably home onto enemies and apply debuffs that help kill enemies even quicker. There are abilities and melee's too, but they're utility more than a consistent thing you can focus playing around.
Enemy variety is...ok, I would've expected a few more enemies variants for a game that's been out for quite a while. The same skull but recolored and retextured does get boring after a bit.
Maps too are fine for the most part, some compliment the design of being a 3rd person movement shooter, some borderline ruin it, constricting movement and locking you into repeating the same non-expressive pattern. The stages have had quite a few redesigns and overhauls, some needed, some not.
Crab champions, for me, peaked at "Variety update 1", the parkour game mode and the countless amazing maps that were introduced (and sadly not kept around), made me want to reach for a 100% completion. A sentiment that still keeps me coming back, even though it isn't all the same.
Still a great investment of time, especially for those looking to 100% the game, since there are quite a few unlocks that are generally fun to aim for. Very much looking forward to it's approaching full release.

i was skeptical when my buddy said we should try it out but I was wrong. The game is much more fun than it has any business being for 7 bucks.

its pretty fun if you got a friend to play with, otherwise it can get old relatively quick even with the large assortment of weapons and skill upgrades. 7/10 but it on sale for sure.

This game is far from perfect, but it has something that a lot of games of similar origin do not: a rock solid identity. It's not a mythical adventure. It's not here to make you rethink the nature of life. It's a fun roguelike made by a passionate developer based on a silly premise. You won't be too surprised by what you get, but it is what it is to a perfect degree.

Noisestorm (автор таких треков как: Crab Rave, Barracuda, This Feeling, Heist и Breakdown) ебнулся, в хорошем смысле, и теперь вместо того что бы писать музыку для например Monstercat'а ебашит игру и саунд к ней.
По геймплею это рогалик шутанчик от третьего лица, про зачистку зон (островов), где ты краб с пушкой или миллишкой и собираешь себе билд что бы максимально эффективно разваливать мобов, помимо комнат с мобчиками иногда встречаются "паркур" челенджи где тебе нужно максимально быстро пройти карту, используя особенности "крабьего мувмента", есть кооп.
Музыка это в основном электронщина от Noisestorm'a (мне нравится)

this game is fun and entertaining i have played for over three hours and it is very hard to slop playing. The overall humor of being a crab and going around with an rpg is one of the funniest things ever.
Absolutely goated. Peak Crab game. But also it honestly plays extraodinarily great and the roguelite experience with this game is magnificant. My only wish with the late game play we could keep buying even more slots for pickups as I like my endgame to be super silly, well it already is but I like to go full crazy. 10/10 play it lads you will not be disappointed!

This game is the equivalent of taking Crab Rave, Megabonk, Apes VS Helium, and smashed them all together with a hydraulic press.
I'm hitting levels of dopamine i didn't think possible.
If you do get stuck, it's not the end of the world, just do a few quick crappy runs for a few keys, unlock a new weapon, and you may get a lucky run that makes you feel like, well lack for a better word, like a god.
I genuinely believe you're wasting your money by not buying this game, and I absolutely can't wait to see what more becomes of this if that ever happens.
Incredibly fun with friends, every major update adds something great to the game, definitely worth buying and keeping.

Crab Champions is fast, smooth, and ridiculously fun. it has Great movement, satisfying gunplay, and tons of build variety make every run feel fresh. What starts as a meme ends up being one of the most addictive crab games i've ever played or touched. i def recommend this game for sure,
My favorite roguelite shooter ever. The moment is fantastic, the gun options are great, the perks you choose let you get overpowered in any way you'd like. On easy difficulties it's a fun "make number bigger" shooter, at higher difficulties you're praying to RNGesus for the perfect perk to fight for survival.
The only downside for me personally is that a run at max difficulty requires beating the final boss twice, so it takes 45min-1 1/2 hours depending on whether you're playing with friends.
Overall a 10/10 game, especially for the money. It's getting consistent updates, and I would honestly pay $40-50 for this if I had to.
No micro transactions or any other gimmicky stuff, just pure non-stop shooting and explosions.
You play as a crab with a gun and watch the big numbers get even bigger... honestly not much more you could ask for. It’s a really fun game to play with friends. It doesn’t take itself too seriously, and half the fun is seeing how badly you can break the scaling. 🦀

I got more addicted to this game than I thought I would. Friend convinced me to play it and I ended up playing it more than him. It challenges you while allowing you to slowly ramp up your difficulty. Having up to 3 friends join you and get independent upgrades from one another lets you share when you want to (pinging your items) while being able to have your build without contest (RNG aside of course)
Some of the unlocked skins are upsetting as they often repeat (the blue and red camos) but the ones that don't repeat are nice to have and can be a fun way to flex your progress when playing with others.
I would love to see more updates pushed but with a small developer ( I believe it is only one person ) and with the variety of weapons in the game already, it gives you plenty to work towards and hours of fun taking down hoards and bosses with or without friends.
Fun gameplay, absolutely BANGER OST, and you get to play as a crab with a shotgun. What more can you ask?

Very fun game to play with solo or with friends. Something about almost bricking my PC due to a combination of a multitude of Orbital Missile Strikes giving me shell shock and a machine gun that discharges 200+ ammo in 0.01 seconds just gives me joy.
Did this run fry my friend's PC? Can't confirm or deny, but it did get replaced.
Would I do again? Absolutely.
So TLDR, If you want to force your friend to upgrade their old starter PC while having a fun, play this 10/10 game.
Crab Champions is great. If you're looking to make action-heavy, interesting decisions, then look no further. The gameplay is vibrant and chill. There's a certain rhythm to dodging and blasting through islands to see how far you get. Perfect game to vibe out and literally shoot the ♥♥♥♥ with friends.

Really fun, especially with friends. But I do have a problem with one of the skins, kalieoscopic. It is way too hard to get. And I get it's supposed a rare, hard obtainable skin. But it's just way too cool to be basically impossible to get.

Nice autopilot game after busy days. It is kinda like gambling but I think I get more dopamine out of this game then losing 100$ at the casino, also dev keeps updating the difficulty because players keep hitting the ceiling, so if you beat it, chances are the next update adds 10 more immortal snails that chase you every map

amazing arena-style roguelike, with jump pads ala quake and sliding too! Decently deep systems, and hilarious crabs with guns aesthetic. Definitively give it a shot if you love arena-style shooters & roguelike mechanics!

I like games with animals doing stupid things like squirrel with a gun and goat simulator but this game is the heart of stupid animal games. I love the colors the maps and the idea all together. so I would recommend this game for gamers like me.
Why get this game?
For the boppin upbeat tunes while you mindlessly twitch kill everything in sight. Enjoy making broken builds? HOW broken you ask? Yes. The answer is just yes.
Does it have depth? No. Does it have a story? No. Why are we crabs? Who cares. Does it work? Hell yeah.
You can just jump in and play. It kinda gets me going the way Unreal Tournsment used to. I hope one day we'll get some more biomes and more complex bosses. :)

Kolejna mega chillowa gierka, z mega dobrą muzyką. Jest we wczesnym dostępie ale jest już bardzo dużo wrogów broni palnych, wręcz, granatów i specjalnych zdolności a także map i nutek. Grind na 100% achievementów może być męczący, szczególnie na te najrzadsze osiągnięcia, ponieważ gameplay na najtrudniejszych trybach zależy tak naprawde od szczęścia jakie ulepszenia się zdobędzie ( a niektóre bronie są naprawde gówniane i żeby być jak najbardziej wydajnym trzeba mieć naprawde duże szczęście na ulepszenia. Wrodzy mogą być naprawdę denerwujący przez to, że czasami naprawdę mają cela i świetnie przewidują nasze ruchy (jeśli jeszcze mają duuużo rzyczia i obrażenia obszarowe to wtedy serio jest problem). Szczerze jestem skłonny dać tej grze takie 9/10 mimo że nie jest jeszcze aż tak rozbudowana i że niektóre bossy najczęściej się powtarzają. Czekam na kolejne update'y (oczy emoji)
