Control was made to be awed that, to showcase the skills of the art team and it never fails to deliver museum-esque visuals. Every single corner of the Oldest House is mesmerizing. Minimal and squeaky clean walls combined with retro tech and cosmic horror deliver a visual spectacle. You should play Control for its visuals alone. You'll be doing yourself a favor.
Control is a third person shooter which I wish it wasn't. In terms of gunplay, this is Remedy we are talking about so of course it's good. Not up to the level of Max Payne but it's still one of the best third person shooters around which should tell you how good Remedy has gotten in this genre. My nitpick is, since it's a TPS and camera is so far away from Jesse, you don't feel completely immersed in the world. You are constantly moving around (which is the main way to avoid taking damage) which can result in not paying enough attention to the surroundings.
Speaking of surroundings... I don't think I've seen a game this detailed in terms of environment. Every single room is dense full of little things like white boards, sticky notes, personal desks, etc. Remedy's engine is probably also the best at environment destruction. When you levitate, the objects and props below you are blown away, when you dash the force generated blows everything close to Jesse, everything you shoot, throw and dash through react realistically. Almost photoreal visuals, thousands of physics stuff happening all at once and the game still runs smoothly.

Control can actually pass for "an experience" rather than just a game. It was incredible from start to finish. The graphics (I played with RT on) were incredible it was so trippy.
I will say the only qualm I have with this game is the weapon and player mod system. I think the execution of this system was quite poor and left a lot to be desired. I ended up using basically the same 6 mods (sometimes I switch maybe 2 so in fairness, the same 8) or such the entire game. Other than that, I think it's an amazing game and worth its money and more.

Artefacts visuels même avec un bon pc dans certaines portions du jeu, mais graphiquement très agréable , avec un style personnel leché,

优化适配:优化属实一般,容易爆显存,这也是绿美迪游戏的通病:画面很酷炫,但也是显卡杀手,部分时候环境会突然变成低模,需要回菜单切换精细度才能修复,这点出现得比较频繁
上手难度:对新人还是挺友好的,毕竟有官方桂,但指引做得比Doom2016还差,建筑密度过高也使得刚开始容易迷路。此外这个游戏的解密也不少,难度有的很简单但有的很难,有些地方需要找攻略才能过,这也是绿美迪游戏的通病之一

Que jogo bom, o mistério e tudo que roda por traz da federação são muito legais de descobrir. A Jesse e uma ótima protagonista, além de todos os personagens segundários da trama como o Darling e o Trench, que sinceramente as linhas diretas do Trench falando com a gente da uma vibe incrivel. Com certeza tenho vontade de jogar os outros jogos da Remedy pra ver como tudo isso se conecta.
Control é um dos melhores jogos que já tive o prazer de jogar, possui uma atmosfera única, personagens loucos junto com sua história esquisita e divertida.
If you're a fan of the SCP Foundation and unique stylings of Sam Lake (that hack (affectionate)), then this is for you.

Interesting story, distructable environments, enjoyable gameplay. I'm enjoying learning more about the lore and the backstory of the main character as it's being revealed. I'm not a great FPS player (mainly solo gaming) and I'm having some difficulty with some of the groups of enemies that come at you (a lot of restarts in some places), but I've been doing side missions and things to upgrade my abilities and practice better techniques so I shouldn't have problems finishing the game. [I noticed in the settings there are some available to help you that I haven't used-- even a "god mode" because some areas should feel like a struggle]

Залупа в которую невозможно играть по причине того, что игра выдаёт мыло, какие бы настройки графики ты не ставил. Попробовал фиксануть данную проблему, вроде получилось! Ура! Аллилуя! Но нет!. Появилась новая проблема. После такого фикса в игре просто стал порой появляться чёрный экран, который не пропадает.
Замечательно, браво! Откуда у игры столько положительных отзывов, для меня это загадка...

En general es un juegazo con todas las de la ley ,en cuanto al gameplay y a la historia no hay queja.
Pero si tienen que corregir algunas cosas:
- Los audios al Español no esta sincronizado con el habla de los NPC (No todos)
- La textura del humo del Hiss a veces crea una pantalla negra (no se si sea por la resolución)
Pero obviando estos fallos ,sigue mereciendo la pena

First time i played this i felt like i was playing a movie
I played it first at my friends house when it came out in his pc, he didn't played it much so i got hooked.
Went to his house on weekends and played it everytime and completed almost half of it, until one day my friend completed the whole thing without me, i was sad
So finally bought it now after couple of years, and its still a 10/10 game
I'll start by saying that this game kept crashing on my steam deck. But it was mostly playable. But I could not get to the end, which was a bummer. I got to the credits, but none of the post credits stuff. And I had planned to do a lot of missions after I finished the main story. Did not happen due to crashes. That said, still worth it. Still an awesome experience. Loved it. But don't expect perfection on the steam deck. When it was working, it worked great.

Many, or perhaps few, liked this game, but it's enjoyable and stimulates the memory of anyone who plays it. It's full of many beautiful things. The story revolves around a girl searching for her brother, and that's what makes it a beautiful game. It has excellent graphics, music, and a superb storyline.

Its and interesting setting. Very similar to stuff found in the SCP community. The gun play is a little difficult but the powers were cool. Eventually the gun doesn't feel like much of a good source of damage and you use the powers alot more. The flight power is kinda difficult for me to use but I think that was just a me issue. Had fun cant wait for the next one!
Eu entrei esperando um jogo mais linear, mas encontrei algo mais próximo de um metroidvania. Não era exatamente o que eu imaginava, mas funcionou bem.
O mapa, de início, parece meio confuso, mas conforme você explora vai se acostumando. A arquitetura da Casa Antiga chama bastante atenção e deixa a exploração mais interessante, com partes que lembram escritórios, outras que parecem laboratórios ou setores de pesquisa e contenção, e algumas em que é até difícil saber o que eram antes do Ruído tomar conta.
Eu achei bem fácil gostar da Jesse, e alguns dos outros personagens também chamaram minha atenção.
A história tem momentos muito bons, e eu achei bem legal essa ideia dos objetos de poder e dos itens alterados.
Os poderes são bem bacanas de usar, e tanto a história principal quanto as missões secundárias conseguem manter o jogo interessante.
No fim, gostei da experiência e me diverti jogando.

Recursos como o Ray-Tracing brilham nesse título, fazendo um enorme diferencial, e fazendo valer a pena os frames perdidos pela estética que ele cria.

A aplicação da física nesse jogo é um ponto importante de toda a narrativa e gameplay do jogo, pois quase tudo é arrancável do chão e usado como uma arma, quase tudo pode ser empurrado, você pode voar, destruir o chão, as paredes, colunas, descobrir passagens secretas, e desmantelar o cenário, e tudo isso será feito de uma forma extremamente realista. Chega a ser satisfatório como a física reage a quebrar o pé de uma mesa e ver ela mudando de posição por causa disso.

A trilha sonora do jogo é totalmente vinculada com a engenharia de som, ela interage intensamente com o que acontece no jogo, então a tensão e suas ações afetam como o som tocará. O som é muito mais um background distorcida criando ambientação perturbadora e hostil, passando a ideia do ambiente inexplorado, da falta de explicação concreta para o que ocorre durante sua jornada e os perigos da exploração.
Quando se trata de música, o jogo tem surpresas através de rádios espalhadas pelo mapa, nelas você pode ouvir o faxineiro Arthi cantando um tango finlandês, beats eletrônicos, ou então músicas “surpresa” excelentes da Old Gods of Asgard ou da Poets of the Fall (que são as mesmas bandas, só que a primeira é a versão in-game da banda, vinda lá do Alan Wake).

A Jesse é uma protagonista simples, não é a engraçadinha com aura de protagonista, e nem o herói fodão, ela é uma pessoa comum que tem poderes não descobertos ainda, e está em busca de conseguir reencontrar seu irmão perdido. Ela é uma personagem empática, é fácil entender, pois ela se comunica mentalmente com si própria e de certa com o jogador. Com o tempo, Jesse se torna uma pessoa mais aberta, aceitando o seu papel em toda aquela bagunça, mantendo a ordem em uma situação a qual nem deveria cair sobre as mãos dela.
Os personagens são muito legais, mas o foco não está neles, porém a atuação da Jesse, e do maluco do Dr. Darling (o mesmo VA do Alan Wake) entregam momentos com muito carisma.

Praticamente impossível de explicar, tem que jogar o jogo com cuidado e se quiser realmente entender, é melhor jogar Alan Wake, vai facilitar bastante.
Eu particularmente gosto, mas ela é bem difícil de acompanhar, pois ela tem uma pegada de horror cósmico, e por isso nem tudo precisa de explicações perfeitas e claras, é feito para ser criativo e fazer sentido (e isso faz bastante), porém não para entregar as respostas na mão do jogador.

Lembra o que eu falei sobre os gráficos, isso só é possível pois a direção de arte é impecável, a mistura do brutalismo, com o sobrenatural, com entidades estranhas, um tipo de mofo vindo de outra dimensão, e um estilo anos 60 de itens e objetos em um mundo moderno, é algo bem diferente e interessante.

O ponto chave, ela é muito boa, muito divertida e diversa, porém pode ser um pouco repetitiva, muitos momentos que simplesmente irá spawnar inimigos e você precisará dar conta deles.
As vezes a habilidade de jogar itens nos outros é tão roubada que você só faz isso, mas eu particularmente recomendo alternar as armas, pois torna tudo mais divertido, tente voar e usar o Shield em seguida jogando ele em cima do inimigo, tente controlar inimigos mentalmente, crie variedades na sua gameplay e garanto que será uma experiência bem gostosa de se jogar.
[b] Eu definitivamente recomendo, é um jogo que com toda certeza vale a pena seu tempo, e seria uma boa porta de entrada para o universo compartilhado da Remedy, que tem outros excelentes jogos.
Sei que pode ser inicialmente um jogo confuso, mas é parte da alma do jogo, é um grande labirinto na forma de um departamento bizarro do governo que gere o paranormal dentro de um prédio também paranormal. [/b]
Unfortunately while Control has a lot to love - from the weapons system, to the environment, and many of the powers you unlock - the game is ultimately an exercise in frustration.
The signposting is horrific at the early section of the game to the point where its entirely possible to miss upgrades and new powers unless you're actively exploring, and happen to pick the "right" path that leads you to further exploration and not another section of the story that'll have you bouncing around the map. Combat often devolves into just seemingly endless hordes of minions with no real end in sight, and the same can be said for the game's puzzles at times. Towards the end of the game and throughout the Foundation DLC I often found myself just standing around waiting for more minions to spawn just so I could progress.
It doesn't help that the controls are just straight up clunky. Having your sprint give out on you because you chose to strafe or simply move in a direction other than a perfectly straight line forward is absolutely horrific, especially since by default its TIED to pushing in on your stick. And this problem also extends into combat with the Foundation DLC, as your button for your new powers is directly tied to a button for already existing powers with zero option for separating the two by remapping controls.
It stinks because there's a LOT about this game that I really enjoyed. So many of the side characters were great, and there were little missions sprinkled throughout that had me ooo-ing and ah-ing at the art direction and how well the visual elements of the game were done. Everyone loves the Ashtray Maze for a reason. But it's overshadowed by the frustration that comes baked in to pretty much everything. Even the narrative is frustrating, building out a mystery box without ever bothering to open it. The end of the game came as a little bit of a shock to me. Not in the way where it was so amazing and subversive, I mean I was genuinely surprised that the game was ending because it felt... unearned. Spoiler for the final fight: [spoiler] The final fight is a half-hearted gauntlet. At this point in the story you're an absolute machine, churning through enemies like it's nothing. And those same enemies make up the entire final fight. The hardest thing about it is just waiting for the next enemies to show up and frankly it's just not engaging. There wasn't even a cool boss waiting at the end of it all, just an abrupt cutscene that completely ends the game. It feels almost insulting to have that as the capstone when a much cooler, better developed gauntlet was thrown at us during a moment that had more emotional weight to it than the climax of the entire game. Ultimately, I'm not mad at Control... just disappointed. Alan Wake 2 was great tho, go play that instead if you're craving some Remedy

BUT... There is a lot of searching for the right rooms and stuff.

Control is a cool third-person action-adventure game from Remedy, the developers behind Alan Wake. It takes place in the same universe, but it plays very differently, since Control is a proper shooter.
The story is decent and much easier to follow as well, although there is still plenty of optional lore to be found in the form of collectibles. They’re more varied as well, including audio recordings and small videos. Both Jesse Faden, the main protagonist, and the other side characters are interesting.
In a nutshell, Jesse enters the headquarters of the Federal Bureau of Control, a secret government agency that deals with the paranormal, in search of her brother. That building is in lockdown since a paranormal force has invaded it and is possessing the people inside, turning them into the Hiss, the main enemies in the game. Since Jesse can use supernatural abilities, it’s up to her to fight that threat while searching for her brother.
Those abilities play a big part in gameplay, like being able to launch objects telekinetically, create protective shields, and levitate for a short time. Technically, there’s only one weapon, but it can change into multiple forms that function similarly to a revolver, shotgun, and grenade launcher, for example. Ammo is unlimited, but its usage has a cooldown, just like the abilities.
There’s also a skill tree and modifiers for both Jesse and the weapon forms, allowing for different builds and playstyles. Enemy variety is also decent, and everything together makes for a solid gameplay experience with balanced difficulty. It’s not too difficult, but I still died a few times, even in regular fights. Boss fights, however, can be frustrating without a proper strategy.
Besides combat, there’s exploration and some puzzle-solving across the building’s multiple sectors, which are surprisingly varied considering the entire game takes place indoors. Besides the main story, there are side quests, some of which are pretty good as well. There are also optional objectives you can trigger for extra loot, although the game gives you enough just by playing naturally. There are also a lot of secrets to find.
The included DLCs are also pretty good. One takes place after the main story, and the other is a crossover with Alan Wake, shedding more light on the events of the original game while also setting up its sequel. Both add new sectors to the map to explore and a significant amount of content to the base game.
Under normal circumstances, I’d say that the graphics are good. However, there’s an issue with texture streaming that makes them look very blurry, which is very distracting, especially with text and in cutscenes. You may have to lower your texture quality, but even then, I never got rid of that issue completely. It’s a common complaint, and even after years this hasn’t been fixed, which is frustrating.
But overall, Control is a pretty decent game, even if it didn’t blow me away. It’s good, just not great. It’s usually pretty cheap on sale, so my recommendation is to grab it then.

Having rebought this game on steam, can definetly say that it's as good as when i first played it. This time the dlc's were included and they were just okay. Nothing new really, just more control which i'm fine with.
Though the 100% achievements in this game do suck, i cant recommend doing that unless you like control so much that you rebought it on steam like me.

Посрєдствєнна гра. Сюжет не зацепив з самого початку. Анімації вообще лажа. Консольний фпс при тому що гра підходить майже до рекомендованих характеристик, Навіть як типовий проходняк не хочеться грати, тому що нічим не зачіплює.

40h全成就,控制这种新怪谈游戏实在太对我的脑电波了,一点点探索收集拼凑出世界观,跟随剧情发展逐渐走向未知的旅程真的让人欲罢不能。整体游戏探索为主,战斗部分比较死板,后期就是扔物品和打枪无缝衔接。场景破坏和演出大赞,各种视觉奇观层出不穷。
缺点就是怪物的种类相对少了些,还有除了dlc的哈曼博士之外其他boss战设计的都比较简单和敷衍。
刚玩完一第二部马上就出,简直不要太爽。
Kind of mid. Note that this review is only for the early stages of the game a bit after I unlocked the ability where I can [spoiler]throw stuff[/spoiler]. I dunno if it gets better but either way, I stopped playing for reasons explained in this review:
It performs and looks really good, and the lore is quite interesting. However, the gameplay is generic and there's not much too it besides shoot enemies, take cover, and use special abilities or whatever. The tutorial's are wayyyy to obvious and hand-holdy. I don't need to be put in an isolated area where I suffer zero consequences for getting hurt or dying, all I need is a good difficulty curve.
What really ruined it for though me was the dialogue, and some stuff just isn't explained well. The character you play as, Jesse, occasionally breaks the fourth wall and says stuff that tries to be badass but just come's off as cringy and uneccesary. There's also a lot of parts where the game acts like I should understand what's going on but I don't and it's frustrating. Like I love mystery and theorising why stuff is how it is but it should be made clear what I'm not meant to know. You can't just give me super powers and be like "yeah you have superpowers now have fun". Jesse just seems to accept all this weird stuff that's going on and it drives me crazy. She even litterally goes on to say something like "You should know what's going on by now". No. No I don't have even the faintest idea what is going on. To be clear I have been reading all the lore entries that I have found.
Anyway, I'm sad I didn't enjoy this game. If you're just looking to shoot stuff and look cool doing it and bad dialogue doesn't shatter your immersion then this game is for you.

-核心玩法是战斗爽,而游戏前几个小时的战斗也确实挺爽的,角色操作顺滑,枪械手感优秀,技能效果炫酷,打击感良好。
-战斗玩法多样,六种武器(手枪、霰弹枪、冲锋枪、狙击枪等),七种技能(瞬移、飞行、化敌为友、护盾、操控物体砸人等),面对八九种敌人(普通小兵、狙击手、火箭弹兵、飞天轮椅兵、自爆兵等),可以钻研出多样化的打法。
-游戏全程为室内场景,建筑设计采用粗野主义风格,颇具视觉冲击力。
缺点:
-引路系统极其糟糕。地图还算直观,但由于场景为多层次建筑,本身非常绕,地图本身的引导是不足够的,导致后期非常容易迷路。
-战斗环节重复性高,后期较为枯燥。全流程几十场战斗,无一例外是玩家进入场景后一波一波地凭空刷新敌人,没有潜行,没有解谜型击杀,甚至没有boss战,敌人没有台词,没有特殊演出,全流程的敌人都是同一套,到后期索然无味。
-游戏具有独特的世界观,然而并没有体现在战斗中。武器、技能、敌人都是很平庸常见的设计,缺乏新意。
-对于注重剧情的玩家来说,本作的人物演出效果不佳(与死亡搁浅类似的念稿式对话),过场动画表现力不足,有时显得莫名其妙。
★★★优化问题:
-灾难性的贴图加载问题,全程几乎没有一处场景可以正常加载所有贴图,糊成一片说的不是远景,而是角色脚下的地板、路线指示牌上的文字、解谜关卡线索白板上的图案以及对话中NPC的脸。尝试各种方法解决该问题,无果。在我玩过的54款游戏里这是唯一一款出现这种奇葩问题的游戏。
-画面微卡顿,帧率正常但就是感觉一卡一卡,非常影响游玩体验。该问题度过前几个小时后奇迹般地自然消失。
总结,在不考虑优化问题的前提下,本作是一个及格线水平的战斗爽类型游戏,可惜不能不考虑。

Control is an incredibly fun and engaging game from start to finish. The game offers a lot to explore, and there’s always something interesting waiting around every corner. The world design is truly unique and mysterious, making exploration both exciting and rewarding
One of the best parts of the game is the combat. It’s extremely satisfying and creative, especially with the supernatural abilities you unlock as you progress. Throwing objects, flying around, and combining powers with gunplay makes every fight enjoyable
Another standout feature is the destruction system. Being able to destroy almost everything in the environment adds a huge level of immersion and satisfaction. Watching rooms fall apart during intense battles never gets old and makes the gameplay feel powerful and impactful
The only bad thing for me is the map a bit annoying sometimes and makes navigation much harder but overall, everything about the game feels polished and well-designed—from the atmosphere and storytelling to the gameplay mechanics, The two dlcs adds a lot (two whole new areas), actually the best side mission i played is inside one of the dlcs. Control is an excellent experience and a game I would highly recommend

I have finished this game previously on the other platfform, around 20 hours. One of the best metroidvania I ever played. The superpowers in this game are really fun and made you feel like a complete bad ass. The worldbuilding is really good too.

So I got this for about $3 during a sale. For 3 bucks I'd say its a pretty decent game. The visuals and sound design are pretty cool. Despite not being a horror game I sometimes found the atmosphere a bit eerie. Especially in the beginning when you don't have any major weapon upgrades or abilities. An aspect I did not expect to enjoy as much as I did. Another aspect I enjoyed was the way your character moves around in general. Movements don't feel exaggerated or choppy. In fact they surprisingly feel pretty fluid. To be more specific the walking, crouching, and flying animations feel very satisfying. I took noticed to small things like the way your character will stand on uneven surfaces without it looking awkward. Or how the way they switch between holding/shooting with one hand versus both. There's a specific mission towards the end that I remember slowly walking through as I shot down enemies without ADSing. Such a cool feeling. Point is you can tell the devs put some effort into the animations. Weapons and abilities were fun. Not very complicated and there's enough variety to support multiple playstyles.
There're a handful of things I didn't particularly enjoy though. Navigating the map can be so frustrating and confusing. I get that this is part of the story but man did it drive me up a wall sometimes. It's even worse when you can't find a place that you know you've been to before while looking for a different area in the past. I do also wish the enemies had a more consistent spawn rate. This is made more noticeable once you start to farm for different materials to upgrade your weapons. The game gives you the location and rarity of all materials in one of the menus provided you've picked them up at least once. The issue is how often said materials will actually drop and that's if you can even get the enemies to spawn. I cannot speak for everyone else but in my game it didn't seem to matter what rarity any given material was. I just could not consistently get them to drop. So as a result I barely got most of my weapons to lv2 by the end of the game. One of my weapons pretty much stayed at lv1 for the entire run. My last critique would have to be the story. On the surface I found the story interesting. There are some pretty cool concepts that get introduced throughout the game. I just wish I was able to fully follow along. After I finished the game I immediately went looking for an explanation of the story online. Again not a bad story I just had trouble following along more than I'd like to admit.
Despite my issues I would give this game a strong 7/10. So far with what they've shown the sequel looks pretty fun. I look forward to trying it out.

Геймплейно — это очень хорошая игра. Визуально (свет, цвет, арт-дирекшен) и сюжетно-нарративно — на мой взгляд, просто потрясающая. Сеттинг и общая атмосфера игры тоже оказались мне очень близки.
А вот технически проблемы есть. Я встретил 3 основные:
1. Общая оптимизация.
2. Баг на дефолтном (как выяснилось впоследствии — 12й версии) DirectX. Какие бы значения графики не выставлялись, все текстуры (особенно заметно на картинах и текстах с указателей) всегда размывались до полностью нечитаемых значений. Благодаря советам в интернете выяснил, что на DirectX 11 этой проблемы нет, на нём по итогу и проходил игру.
3. Где-то в середине игры картинка самого игрового пространства (т.е. всего, кроме UI menu) полностью пропадала вскоре после начала прохождения с точки моего последнего сохранения, и становилась чёрной. Опять же спасибо советам в интернете, оказалось для починки этого бага нужно очистить полностью папку с шейдер кэшем.
Т.к. все проблемы оказались решаемы, а оптимизация всё же не катастрофически плоха, и плюсов игры лично для меня оказалось очень много, Control оставил практически исключительно положительное впечатление.
