Chronicles of the Witches and Warlocks is an adventure game about a lawyer, Kathleen Wilson, who has to hold her own investigation in order to free her beloved. She'll have to solve a plethora of puzzles before she can learn what really happened. Collect photographs, notes, slides - anything that might be useful in your investigation. Record all the facts and clues in your notebook - they could come in handy later. It isn't hard to hit a dead end in an investigation, but don't panic - you can use a hint.

[b]Chronicles of the Witches and Warlocks[/b] is one of those Hidden Object Games that I really enjoyed. I played this with my wife who absolutely loved the story, mini games and hidden object scenes.

We encountered a few hidden scenes with the wrong description of an object (i.e. a Pretzel was incorrectly named a Croissant) but luckily we didn't encounter any game breaking bugs. There were a few broken achievements though. The two achievements involving completing the game actually popped after I restarted the game after the end credits. The last two (Sniper and Pull a Fast One) after I replayed the game a second time but luckily only about 30 minutes in.

I found the story quite strange and it didn't really tie well with the title of this game. The scenes, visuals and sound effects were great though. The puzzles were somewhat creative albeit too easy. The music fit the game well.

Jeu d'objets cachés et d'énigme assez plaisant, pas trop difficile et dans des "mondes" un peu différent.
Il faut compter 3 heures pour le finir.
J'ai mis une note négative car il comporte plusieurs "bugs" (5 au total), mais surtout les succès Steam sont bloqués (celui de tous les HOG sans aide et tous les puzzle sans passer).
C'est a cause du bouton d'aide qui se décharge durant le jeu.
Un 2ème run a été nécessaire en veillant a bien attendre tous les chargements pour débloquer les succès

Honestly badly made and the story is not written well at all and reallyyy doesn't make sense but its a cheap mid range puzzle/hidden object game and if you're just playing it for that its decent enough. I liked it well enough but I didn't have high expectations solid 3/5 type of deal.

Entführt Spieler in eine geheimnisvolle Welt mit Rätseln, Minispielen und Wimmelbildern. Obwohl das Game bereits 2015 veröffentlicht wurde, habe ich es erst kürzlich gespielt und fand, dass es auch nach fast einem Jahrzehnt immer noch gut in das Genre passt.

Die Atmosphäre des Games ist beeindruckend, dank detailreich gestalteter Grafiken, stimmungsvoller Musik und filmischer Übergänge zwischen den Kapiteln.
Die Möglichkeit, Übergänge zu überspringen, ermöglicht es Spielern, ihr eigenes Tempo zu wählen und sich noch tiefer in die fesselnde Welt von Chronicles of the Witches and Warlocks einzutauchen.

Das Gameplay bietet eine Vielzahl von Herausforderungen, darunter einige Rätsel, die wirklich zum Nachdenken anregen. Allerdings habe ich auch Momente erlebt, in denen das Game das volle Potenzial eines Rätsels nicht ausschöpfte.

Ein weiterer Kritikpunkt sind [spoiler] gelegentliche Fehler in den Wimmelbildern, die den Erfolg "Sniper" (alle Wimmelbilder ohne Hilfe abschließen) etwas frustrierend machen können. I am 32 years old.

My ex-wife and I have a daughter together, and we adopted our son together. Both are now 4 years old.

When we were going through our separation, I felt lost and unhappy. I was self-destructive. One day, I was so angry with everything spiraling out of control that I punched a concrete wall in a moment of overwhelming emotion. This resulted in breaking my fifth metacarpal in my right hand—the hand I worked with, played games with, and used to carry my children to bed—the hand I desperately needed to ensure I could continue providing.

Upon learning the severity of the self-inflicted damage, I became almost suicidal. Keep in mind that just a few months before this, I was the happiest man, with no history of depression or anxiety. I had never experienced anger outbursts, nor was I the type to break down and cry, but I was in a tough situation that truly prevented me from seeing the light on the other side.

With nothing better to do, I looked for a game I could play WITH ONE HAND while recovering. Somehow, I stumbled upon this game and read some of the comments. I decided it was worth a try... I must admit I didn't beat the game, nor did I play as much as some of you. In fact, I may have played this game for only a day or two. That being said, after doing so, I had a new joy and hope for life. I managed to leave behind the pain and suffering that had been thrust upon me. I could experience the joy and happiness of other people. I relaxed for 5 ♥♥♥♥ minutes listening to this music, long enough to realize that I would be okay.

After realizing this, I turned off the game and went back to work. My hand hurt a lot, but I was motivated. I stopped feeling so sorry for myself and became the father I needed to be at that moment, not the weak boy I was behaving like.

Today, I am close friends with the mother of my children. We don't fight, argue, or say hurtful things to each other. We are parents and friends.

Now I have 3 children. My third child is, wait, ALSO 4 YEARS OLD. The woman I am with was going through a very similar situation at the time of my separation, and we just unexpectedly stumbled into each other's lives. We have been dating for a year and are very happy together.

Moral of the story: you never know what life has in store for you, and if I had given up when all odds were against me, I wouldn't be where I am today. This silly little game helped me realize that.

What a buggy piece of crap. The game is unresponsive as hell and full of game breaking bugs, one of which I got that doesn't even seem to be reported before by anyone else. Stay away from this one, its not worth the nerves.

Ante todo quiero aclarar que mereceria un voto NEUTRAL este juego y explico porque:

A ver... es la tipica aventura point & click medio "misteriosa" donde hay algun crimen o alguna tumba o algo medio oculto o satanico y vos tenes que "averiguar" enfrentandote quizas a algun peligro, quizas no, y siempre tenes que hacer puzzles algunos con logica, otros sin (generalmente de la saga 8floor o los bigfish son juegos donde no agarras items basura o innecesarios y en muchos casos se simplifica porque es prueba y error pero en otros los puzzles son indescifrables) hasta que logres llegar al final del juego.

En esencia es eso, pensar un poco, observar el ambiente y entrenar las neuronas. La musica es buena pero algo repetitiva, los graficos son lindos, esta bien diseñado, pero no hay voces basicamente y eso es un brutal Contra.

En fin... tiene logros y cromos pero no mejora mucho mas.
En este caso particular la historia me resulto bastante aburrida y pobre, casi inexistente, como si fuese la excusa para hacer los puzzles. Si bien compras este tipo de juegos para eso, cuando la historia es tan deficiente, el resto del juego tiene que brillar y si bien rescato la musica y los graficos como muy buenos, no son excelentes y los puzzles tampoco son cosa de otro mundo, las mismas acciones de siempre, cambiar cosas de lugar, poner X cosa en X lugar. usar X item para que interactue de X forma con alguno, fusionar items, etc. pero no sale de ahi, no logra romper con el paradigma tradicional.

Tampoco esta en español y en algunos items que tenes que buscar, se te pierde un poco como hacer.
En definitiva, no puedo recomendar, ni ponerle positivo porque en este caso, fue bastante decepcionante, no es que tuviera la vara alta pero particularmente la historia fue bastante pobre, gane el juego y no entendi bien de que trataba (creo que la chica mato a alguien porque tenia una especie de regresion pasada con algo de su madre, pero como digo, viajas en el tiempo como investigador, estas en lugares raros, hay como cosas de magia pero no encajan bien en la historia, no se, no me cierra como lo articularon, no es mal juego pero es neutral).

Compralo solo si sos fan del genero y queres pasar el rato, pero el juego en si es 0 memorable.

Spiel hat eine Ingamekonsole, wodurch man sich sämtliche Fortschritte ergaunern kann. Aufgrund der Rezensionen und der 5-stündigen Walkthroughs fasse ich dieses Spiel nicht an.

TENTATIVE RECOMMENDATION. If I recall correctly I had to restart the game because I grabbed item A before item B. That said I was able to get all the achievements. I recommend the game on the assumption that (1) you look at the guides to locate the items before you play so you don't have to restart, and (2) you bought on discount.

A wonderful HO game packed with action and mystery. There's this artefact everybody wants to get their hands on it, there's the protagonist's fiancee who has been framed, there's this masked man that's after the artefact and there's you, the protagonist, a lady lawyer who is willing to go on this strange mission to free your fiance from custody. It's a long journey ahead with awkward situations that will test both strength and skills. Are you willing to throw away your usual life plans for a week of adventure?

PROS:
- Beautiful scenes;
- Nice music;
- Interesting story;
- Journal and fast-travelling map;
- Logical puzzles;
- Varied HO games;
- Trading cards;
- Obtainable achievements.

CONS:
- No voice-acting;
- After putting an item inside something, there's this luminous effect that's pretty annoying.

So far, a great experience. I am yet to finish the game. It doesn't seem to have a bonus chapter, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. I prefer games that keep the flow running. Rather than breaking the action into two parts, the main game and the bonus chapter, I'd like a long game. Say, what do you prefer?

This one has a lot of the issues you see in HOPs, particularly those that were translated. Some items have very regional names, other times there are hidden object items that match multiple things (specific lightbulb on a string of lightbulbs). The script for the story has errors, there are many items that would work but you aren't allowed to use (can't use the pickaxe to hook an item out of reach under a log, have to get a different hook item and come back)

Good hint/skip feature, map/fast travel, journal keeps clues & story line.
The game and puzzles had a good logic flow.

It's not a bad game, especially if you get it on sale, however there are bugs. Visual bugs, hit box issues, nonsensical tool usage. So, fairly standard for a budget HOG. Big issue is two game breaking bugs near the mid and end of the game, so if you do buy this on sale make sure to check the achievements guide because the top of it mentions these bugs without spoiling much of the game.

Further critique: There's no voice acting, which is a shame. Some of the objects have odd word choices. A kayak being labeled a "boat" and a pretzel a "croissant" or even an oil can labeled as a "funnel." The worst by far is clicking on a peacock feather to cross off "ostrich feather." The main bug I came across was trying to enter the hangar for the first time the game telling me "there's nothing past here." But after checking the map and clicking the hangar, I was teleported there. I left and reentered like nothing happened and didn't get that bug again.

Music was fine and average for a HOG. Cursor was a bit slow and the animations like puzzle completion light ups/ effects were also slow. Especially having to watch each totem be put in the box and then having to exit the box screen to keep playing. Overall plot was interesting, though I think the title is rather misleading compared to the actual game plot.

Giving this a thumbs down so buyers are aware of the big bug issues outlined above before buying.

I recommend this game to casual gamers of all ages. But it is worth preparing for the fact that many things will be called not what you need to find ...

Terrible.

Game breaking bugs (multiple), puzzles with the WRONG instructions and hidden object puzzles that ask you to find the wrong thing. They have a map but it's hard to use. You also don't get the achievement for completing the entire game if you use a SINGLE hint at any time, including out in the open outside of puzzles. There's also no witches or warlocks.. so even the title is misleading.

This whole thing was a MESS. Absolutely do NOT recommend.

Malo, a tal punto que tiene bugs que te rompen la partida pero si pese a eso querés intentar jugarlo te recomiendo que busques en las guías los bugs que pueden arruinarte el juego. Nombra 4 bugs de los cuales sólo sufrí 1 y los otros los evité gracias a los comentarios o no me sucedieron por suerte, asumo que nunca los arreglaron.
Los logros de terminar el juego sin pistas y de realizar un puzzle en menos de un minuto no me los dio y hay que volver a entrar al juego para que te reconozca que pasaste el mismo./

[h1] Story [/h1] Wir spielen die Anwältin "Kathleen Wilson" und wir wollen unserem Freund "Danny", der des Mordes angeklagt wird aus der Patsche helfen. Um seine Unschuld zu beweisen, müssen wir mehrere Totems finden um damit in die Vergangenheit zu reisen

[h1] Gameplay [/h1] Es ist das übliche, typische Hidden Object Adventure. Wir sammeln Gegenstände & lösen verschiedene Rätsel/Minispiele sowie Wimmelbildszenen. Die Rätsel/Minispiele fand ich ganz ordentlich, diese sind allesamt relativ schnell & einfach zu lösen. Bei den Wimmelbildszenen hatte ich einige Bugs, ich sollte ein Tintenfass suchen und am Ende war es ein Armband. Gleiches hatte ich dann nochmal mit einem anderen Gegenstand, was echt irritierend & frustrierend wird. Das Spiel hat zudem an 2 Orten gegen Ende des Spiels 2 Game breaking Bugs die man scheinbar auslösen kann, dadurch kann man das Spiel dann nicht mehr beenden. Ich habe mich vorher im Community Hub schlau gemacht um dies zu verhindern. Ich musste das Spiel nach den Credits beenden und wieder neu starten um 2 Achievements zu bekommen. Die Musik ist ganz ordentlich und Voice Acting gibt es hier nicht

[h1] Achievements [/h1] Es gibt insgesamt 13 Erfolge. Hierfür muss man das Spiel im Experten Modus beenden, in den Wimmelbildszenen keine Tipps einsetzen, keine der Rätsel/Minispiele überspringen & dann noch die üblichen Erfolge wie z.B. 4 Gegenstände in 4 Sekunden finden oder eine Wimmelbildszene mit weniger als 5 Fehlklicks lösen

- Technisch ist das Spiel nicht ganz sauber (man muss teilweise um mit Personen zu sprechen an einen ganz bestimmten Punkt klicken

[h1] Fazit [/h1] Wieder nur so ein Mittelmäßiges Hidden Object Adventure mit einigen schwächen und sogar Game breaking Bugs wenn man nicht aufpasst. Auch allgemein ist das Spiel technisch nicht ganz sauber. ich kann es nur wirklichen Fans des genres Empfehlen. Ich gebe dem Spiel gerade noch so einen Daumen nach oben

Sometimes the mini game doesn't get stuck. even if the right choice good story The colorful glow effect is so beautiful that it matches the mini-games perfectly.

Okay...I have never played a game that would give you a puzzle to guess what the correct answer is in that puzzle instead of giving you a hint...and YES I am talking about the area with the house in SPOILER ALERT!!! You have to guess what the combination on the house lock is and they do not give you a clue as to what in the heck it is....I mean hours and hours of trying to figure that freakin lock out until finally I said screw it and looked it up and that is ridiculous this game needs a huge over hall and who ever is beta testing or game testing this game needs to be fired seriously some puzzles make no sense and some areas you are left with this whole I have no idea which direction they want to me go in but ok geezzzz don't waste your money or your time.

Wer auch immer die Übersetzung geschrieben hat ist für ein paar meiner grauen Haare verantwortlich und wird demnächst zur Rechenschaft gezogen. Hinsichtlich Stil und Story kann man aber nicht meckern. Ein paar kleine Logikfehler gibts inklusive dazu. Schwamm drüber.

Bug-ridden incomprehensible mess. Only playable with a walkthrough at your side at all times, warning you about game breaking bugs in advance and helping you make some sort of "sense" of it all (thank you anrkyuk!). Wth is the story about? Why is the title what it is? Who the f gives a s_it about a little girl ghost wanting a doll when you've just crashed and nearly died?! Things like translation errors can be forgiven in certain instances but certainly not in Hidden Object Scenes when you're looking for specific items. I bought it at 90% off for 0,49 Euro and it's still not worth it. It's just... atrocious.

Eu QUASE recomendaria esse jogo. Enfase no QUASE.

A história é confusa na melhor das hipóteses e mal escrita na pior delas. Isso não seria um problema, se:

O jogo não tivesse bugs que podem causar softlock no jogo, eu mesmo perdi uma partida quase inteira. O jogo tava sempre a um ponto de: "Vou ser um Hidden Objects mediano" pra tropeçar em algo, seja na narrativa ou jogabilidade.

Se for comprar, tenha em mente consultar guias pra contornar esses bugs.

If I could give 51% to 'just' give a thumbs up then that'd be my rating. A tough game to rate as the hidden object part is quite addictive and makes you switch back and forth between locations frequently (which is good). A lot of cons with this game though. No voice acting is really jarring to create the connection with the story. Because of this, the story is largely forgettable and I forgot by the end why I was doing what I was doing in the first place (again, the HOG part of the game is the drawcard here). There are a few items to find that have been lost in translation (including the infamous 'leaflet' item that is actually a leaf) making it frustrating at times. The worst puzzle in the centre of the game needs you to click 4 buttons in 4 sectors but actually only 3 are required which was rage inducing.
When you get past all of that, however, there is still something worth pursuing with in this game and with some more polish and refinement could have been great

О том, что представляет собой квест с весьма странным названием, предлагаю поговорить ниже. [/code]

Парня Кэтлин Уилсон арестовали по обвинению в страшном убийстве. В ходе тревожного телефонного звонка молодой юристке мало что удается выяснить, однако одно становится понятно совершенно точно - любимого человека кто-то подставил, и что-то в этом деле совершенно не чисто. И потому Кэтлин решает взяться за дело самостоятельно, и провести свое независимое расследование. Вместе с главной героиней нам предстоит докопаться до правды, собирая улики и доказательства в самых невообразимых местах.

Chronicles of the Witches and Warlocks - абсолютно типичный представитель жанра "квест", ничем не отличающийся и не выделяющийся от своих собратьев. Упор в игре будет сделан на поиск предметов и способов применить их по ситуации, однако периодически гегемонию hidden objects будут разбавлять иные не слишком сложные задачи. В наличии несколько режимов прохождения, в т.ч. режим эксперта с ограничениями на подсказки.

По сюжету нам предстоит знатно попутешествовать, как по миру, так и во времени. Арт-стиль и музыкальное сопровождение на достаточно достойном уровне передают атмосферу мест, в которых нам предстоит очутиться. Имеются весьма неплохие видеовставки однако, к сожалению, не озвученные. Порадовала и сама завязка в формате расследования, однако, она же через какое-то время и расстроила, потому как разработчики в какой-то момент перестарались и начали нагромождать одно на другое, искусственно растягивая не слишком оригинальный сюжет тогда, когда уже и так все будет ясно и понятно. В конечном итоге сюжет ничем не запоминается и быстро выветривается из головы. Думается, именно в этой сюжетной затянутости и кроется одна из причин низкой востребованности игры.

[u] [b] ๑۩۩๑ СТОИТ ЛИ ИГРАТЬ? ๑۩۩๑ [/b] [/u]

На полное прохождение Chronicles of the Witches and Warlocks у меня ушло чуть более четырех часов игрового времени. В игре имеется набор из 13 достижений, большую часть которых мне удалось выбить при первом прохождении. Русский язык здесь представлен в довольно приемлемом виде, ошибок и несовпадений названий с реальными предметами, как это часто бывает в играх подобного жанра, мне лично не встретилось, как и каких-либо критических багов или ошибок. По итогу, можно сказать что перед нами - абсолютно проходной квест, за которым приятно будет скоротать вечер-другой, но в то же время Вы ничего не потеряете, если этого не сделаете.

For a HOG it's not that bad, I actually enjoyed playing this game even though it had a few minor bugs here and there, and the story sometimes didn't make much sense, but I won't give it a negative review because of that. The game has good graphics, some achievements that aren't too hard to do, a decent story, a cool soundtrack and some interesting characters.
I highly recommend this game for fans of Hidden Object games.

Demorou menos que os outros que eu já me acostumei mas a história é legalzinha, os puzzles simples - o que tornou mais divertido - só que às vezes não era tão nítido o que era pra fazer. Me ressenti em ter que apertar o Hint várias vezes. Num geral, sim, minhas horas jogando valeram.

Just finished this game a few moments ago, with all achievements, meaning you're lookin' at about 2.5-4.5 hours of play time. (I have more because I got a bug and had to restart.) I've always loved HOG's like this that seem to take themselves kind of seriously, so my view on this may be through an overly flattering lens, but I think this game is worth it, especially when on sale. What you see is what you get, a point&click meets hidden object game, with the obligatory supernatural plotline.

The story is a bit ridiculous. It almost makes sense as you're going though it, but it definitely doesn't make much sense as a whole, and it also uses some outdated terms for Natives, which was very whack.

For what it is, the game is also really pretty, especially in some cutscenes.

HOWEVER, I cannot review this game in good conscience without noting some bugs. There are a few that are just annoying (clickboxes being wonky) but there are a couple that can full on break your game, keeping you from continuing without a full restart. (One of these moments is in the literal last three minutes in the game.)

If you can deal with that? There's no real reason not to get it if you're interested.

Yeah this is a wacky little HOG. It can be a bit annoying when trying to find objects that are mislabeled: a peacock feather being called an ostridge feather, or a leaf being called a leafet. There are bugs, like not being able to talk to characters or click items. Some of the cutscenes that happen after you finish a puzzle are laggy, so it makes it feel like you didnt do the puzzle right. And some of the puzzle mini-games are so easy, its almost not worth it. I really liked their game Portal of Evil, so this was a complete bummer.

Chronicles of the Witches and Warlocks довольно типичный представитель жанра "поиск предметов" без какой-либо интересной фичи. Бравая героиня пытается оправдать своего нерадивого жениха и попадает в замес с древними тотемами, мёртвыми девочками и пазлами разной степени сложности аж в трёх временных эпохах. И поначалу игра цепляет, много видеоставок, бабёнка действует относительно грамотно. Но после первой трети игры, всё несётся в тартарары, скомканный сюжет трещит по швам, головоломки теряют логику, а происходящее всё больше напоминает фарс. Появляются какие-то левые персонажи чьи проблемы мы вынуждены решать за кусочек зеркала или другую фигню, а вишенка на торте странные баги (в моём случае хотя бы не критичные). Ну а про косяк с озвучкой по моему упомянул каждый. Поставлю 6.0 только из-за первой трети Chronicles of the Witches and Warlocks.

解密慈善包购买的的8Floor系列点击解密游戏。游戏体量不大，玩起来也相对简单，没有中文对游戏进程影响不大，提示给的很足，按照提示基本都能顺利通关。
喜欢这种点点点类型游戏的可以尝试下，可以玩。
ps：游戏还给配了过场动画，意外的挺精致哈哈~
