音乐画风剧情都是顶级！小动物们都傻傻的很可爱，顶多有几只说话有点不客气但是大家都很好，[spoiler] 帮狗勾找画笔那里没有一个人抱怨真的很暖…… [/spoiler]主角一家都是天使，难怪主角要设定成狗，只有狗狗才能这么小太阳！小菊苣的成长是有迹可循的，一路上陪着她走能看到她一点点振作起来，不像有些心理疾病游戏的角色莫名其妙就燃起来了到底在燃什么。[spoiler] 最后两个人互相扶持打boss真的很好……[/spoiler]地图设计也很赞，四处试炼+不同的环境+开放探索让我想到了塞尔达，很沉浸式体验，[spoiler] 最后结尾还感谢玩家是美术师真的很有参与感了！ [/spoiler]解谜难度适中，实在卡关还可以求助爸妈，基本不用自己查攻略这一点很好，打折的时候都抓紧无脑入好吗[spoiler] 就是狗勾明明明确是公的为什么给的衣服基本都是女装：D…… [/spoiler]

差点被我退款的游戏（？没想到是最好玩的一个。Omg这么便宜章节这么多地图这么大。不过我以为是纯任务向的那种游戏没想到突然冒出来个大boss（（（但是还好恐怖的地方都不在我害怕的点上，如果说boss是个蜈蚣的话我马上就死翘翘，但它是个眼珠子。有一个我挺喜欢的点就是哪里不会玩了直接随地找个电话亭给爸妈打电话，不仅能收获安慰关心还能收获游戏提示非常之人性化。而且不是那种一下子把所有都告诉你，是先让妈妈来接你电话完了关心关心你，问你要不要更详细的提示，如果要的话就换爸爸来，如果不想剧透或者是相信自己实力的话就可以直接挂掉。真的好有创意我好喜欢这个设计。

What initially drew me to Chicory was the idea of a gigantic colouring book, where you can colour the world to your heart's desires. You could easily get through the game by doing the bare minimum, and the game doesn't judge you for it. Not in the mood for art classes? Fine. Only feel like colouring in the trees? Wonderful. The puzzles also provide a fair amount of challenge as you colour the world and bond with the Brush. It's a judgement-free zone that's also giving you a warm hug.

What I stayed for, however, is its story about an artist's relationship with their craft and what it means to have and make art. As someone who enjoys drawing but got the confidence and creativity beaten out of them at a young age, Chicory gave me a chance to reclaim some of what I had lost. After approx. 25 hours of playtime, I now feel less terrible about my artistic abilities, and am proud to see how my in-game art has evolved over time too. Of course, there's still work to be done...but progress is still progress, and Chicory blessed me with that. The optional art classes have been especially healing, where I usually spent thirty minutes painstakingly drawing my cat. The brushes and colours you get to work with are limited, and there's a charm to that. With those imposed boundaries, I was forced to shed my perfectionism and just be happy, if not proud, of leaving some kind of artistic mark in that world.

Overall, Chicory has a special place in my heart...I truly love this game*, and I'm nowhere near done with it. It is a game about confronting your demons, creating the perfect balance between the wholesomeness of the world and its darker themes...and what better choice to compose the music than Celeste's Lena Raine. This game is absolutely for the ones battling self-doubt and imposter syndrome; the ones itching to create world to really call their own; the ones craving to encounter new, endearing food-named characters; and anything in between.

*A slight nitpick: I personally would have liked the boss fights to be a bit more challenging [spoiler] such as maybe using the brush upgrades as combat features. [/spoiler] I know it's not entirely the point of the overarching game or narrative...just think it could have slightly elevated the gameplay.

It's probably great for kids who enjoy coloring in every screen or if you played it cooperatively with one, in which case I could recommend it. Sometimes it's cute and some of the puzzles like the moving platforms with bugs under them that are attracted to eating your paint were neat. A few of the characters like your parents are funny and even when the NPCs only have one line they look like they have personality. I loved the part where you go to the underworld and interact with the talking bugs.

But I don't like the game very much. I know it's supposed to be a cozy game, but the bosses aren't challenging and I suppose I wanted more combat. It's all so low stakes and the conflict behind the corruption is dependent on you connecting with the subtext. Sometimes getting around feels tedious and the world looks so bland since it's not colored in whenever you walk into a new area. You could color it, but it feels like a waste of time when there's a similar screen right behind it. I usually did the bare minimum of coloring to make it easier to navigate through the map easier. Whenever I played it I got bored after a couple of hours.

I didn't enjoy the dot matrix puzzles even though you can get hints to get through them. In fact, I didn't care for most of the puzzles. Most of them felt like I've been there and done that already in other adventure games that had better eye candy that you don't even have to color in. I would walk into a dark room and essentially immediately know where to go and what I needed to do, but I'd still have to wait half a minute until I had filled enough of the room with paint to light it up and proceed. I guess I don't enjoy coloring nearly as much as some people. I stopped after the first Wielder trial and might not finish it. At least it tried to do a few new things though which is why I can give it a thumbs up,

A charming and unstressful game which tries to tell a story without resorting to force. At any point you can take a break without leaving the game by drawing on scenery. You can even amuse yourself by drawing in cutscenes. A bit like animal crossing. Also like animal crossing in how the inhabitants agree with you a little too much sometimes.

人物塑造得非常好，从质疑自我到肯定自我的一个故事。没有人是完美的，但是可以一步一步去追寻靠近理想的自己，就算没有目标，就算没被肯定或是所有的开始仅仅是个意外，也不会轻易放弃。
本来是在商店里随便逛逛随手买的，以为是纯解密，没想到会有boss战。战斗画面搭配游戏音乐也有一种战斗爽的感觉。当然不止boss战的音乐带感，npc的音乐也非常好听有趣。
连着几个晚上玩通关了，[spoiler] 当主角的画笔重新长出来的时候和最终boss小菊苣加入战斗的时候 [/spoiler]感觉大脑在颤栗。

This is one of those games that’s filled with SOUL and HEART, with some pretty great gameplay puzzles- though with some kinda glaring lowlights. Chicory feels like a game that absolutely thrives based on how much you put into it, and decide to immerse yourself with the world and play around with it. I think how you end up feeling about this game when you walk away from it is highly based on how much its writing and messaging resonates with you, and how much you’re willing to overlook some of its more apparent flaws.

It’s a 2D Zeldalike- though with a very much lack of combat on the overworld. I think that’s a good thing. You get to intimately become familiar with the map and each of its screens. There are quite a lot of fun sidequests that really test your knowledge and memory of certain places! I really liked that!

Working in tandem with that, it’s extremely freeing and rewarding exploring previous areas with your new movement abilities as you progress through the game. It’s actually pretty wondrous how many hidden secrets there are. Of course, all of the optional collectibles are, well, optional. And they don’t really affect any of the gameplay, but it does scratch that collectathon itch.

This OST has some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ BANGERs in it. Mostly more chill overworld songs and I really enjoy the detail of the layering of songs. There’s variations for being on the edge of an area, which is real neat! Not to say there’s not some good hype moments and aura songs as well. I think an interesting part of a lot of the overworld compositions is that they do have a bit of a slow start, and become pretty beautiful pieces once they get going. Songs like Sips River and Teatime Meadows are perfect songs to just take your time walking through these little transitory aeries, or just take a seat and color in a screen nicely. I legit had a visceral emotional moment when I stumbled upon Hummus’s garden side story, while the music of Teatime Meadows picked up. :(

Now, let’s talk about the bosses. I feel like they’re a pretty great visual and narrative spectacle for the most part. How the bosses work in tandem visually with the phases and the music responding to it, is REALLY cool!

However, I feel like there’s some tonal dissonance on the first two bosses, especially the second one looks kinda really dumb… And the gameplay of the bosses is where it really falls flat, which kinda sucks. The game’s systems aren’t really built for combat, which makes the bosses stick out like a sore thumb. This is kinda band-aid fixed by the fact that you can’t really fail the bosses, you’re given a pretty generous check points and infinite retry window. But, with how the boss attacks look visually, while very pretty as a spectacle, are extremely visually unclear in terms of hitboxes on when they’re active or not. It’s pretty much due to how the paint works, fading after some time. It’s hard to tell when paint strokes are active hitboxes still, or not. UNFORTUNATELY the final boss is kinda the worse with this, which is a pretty big damper. With how the final boss depended on Chicory hitting the boss with her own paint strokes to open up weak spots, I actually genuinely also was confused when I was playing and I couldn't tell if she was missing or like it’s not actually doing anything and there’s just a hidden timer on when the boss became vulnerable. Obviously the bosses are not the main focus of the game, but the fact they have such important narrative importance and that the game ends on a BOSS makes me really wish they were just a bit better.

For some more criticisms, sometimes the perspective with depth perception could get real weird and unclear. Especially with some of the late game puzzles. Paint bomb pushing always had a little degree of jank to it. I also had a little bit of frustration with the wind and cloud cycles during the late-game mountain climb just not lining up.

And this might be nit-picky, but man I really wish that NPC dialogue just didn’t stop with the NPCs becoming un-interactable. It’s a little immersion breaking, given the world feels super fleshed out and alive with the NPCs often visiting and appearing in different places. Just wish once you exhausted their dialogue that they had a repeating filler line, at least, instead of becoming cardboard cutouts.

But to end it on a more positive note, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. The writing and messaging of this game is a really intricately woven and beautiful story on the actual examination of creative drive and the joy in that, whilst juggling unhealthy expectations, setting self-boundaries and imposter syndrome, burnout, and even mental abuse/trauma. The worldbuilding of a society that’s so highly-dependent on the Wielder, and the burden that comes with that, is not shied away from. It’s got some real down-to-earth depictions and extremely touching conversations throughout. The story is pretty deep in showing how it affects Pizza (the protagonist) and Chicory in different ways. Chicory is held up to these extremely high regards by everyone, and decoupling that mask of a savior, and being able to just Be, is some ♥♥♥♥♥♥’ real ♥♥♥♥.

Pizza being an accidental wielder and breaking societal standard- with seeds of doubt on if they deserved to be one. Throughout the entire game, they have this feeling of anxiousness, of rambunctiousness to prove themselves, and of amateur ambition. These feelings persist even up until the finale. All the NPCs gathering around to encourage them, and that extreme pressure, while still feeling unworthy… coalescing into defeat. The pre-final boss conversation has them ask for the confirmation that Chicory DIDN’T choose them, and they initially come to the conclusion that Chicory chose them because (in Pizza’s eyes) they were a bad choice.

Chicory rebuffing that conclusion as a capstone to the friendship they built up, and whilst admitting that she didn’t CHOOSE Pizza, Pizza shows how you don’t HAVE to be chosen to be capable. And so in the finale, with how it concludes with how powerful it is to be unique and different, lets them defy tradition and find a new way forward- that nobody had thought about, is gratifying as all hell.

With the realization that anyone can form their own brush and color being free, is like, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥… Anyone can draw or be creative. You don’t need to be a professional, you don’t need to PROVE anything.

I feel like so much of the side cast has things relevant to the writing and themes of the story as well, with SO many small things and details, where not every feeling is neatly resolved. Not everyone is completely and perfectly happy, yet people continue to strive on and grow, figuring themselves out. It’s so surprisingly mature, for such a cutesy looking game on the outside. There also are some pretty damn witty and funny jokes. It’s a great balance for the writing!

I think the ending credits sequence showing timelapses of multiple different screens you drew, as well as the ending map, is so ♥♥♥♥♥♥’ cool. Not just those, but the paintings showing up around the world, the decor placement sidequests, and more… I personally tried to at neatly colorize pretty much every screen, and the ending capstones a showcase of how personalized the world of Picnic becomes based on You, the player, and I think it really hit me when the credits theme picked up whilst showing a timelapse as a screen filled up with color.

♥♥♥♥♥♥ man, I don’t know. Myself, as a critic, finds some issues with the game (it’s still largely great), but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, that story and writing hit me so hard, as someone who’s constantly wished they were “creative” or could “do it” in terms of art. Maybe I can do it. Thank you, Chicory, for giving me the encouragement to try again.

On joue un charmant cabot dans un monde où la couleur a disparu. Alors muni d'un pinceau il nous est possible de recolorier le monde avec 4 couleurs dispos à chaque tableau.
Sinon, on explore le monde en résolvant des énigmes (pas trop difficiles), en trouvant des vêtements et en ramassant les ordures (pour les échanger plus tard contre des objets un peu plus agréables, tel meubles et plantes).
L'accent principal du jeu porte sur l'exploration et la découverte de petits secrets à droite à gauche.
Le monde et les habitants sont sympathiques sans être d'une originalité flagrante. C'est au dessus de la moyenne mais loin d'une transcendance absolue.

Le gros défaut, la raison de mon pouce rouge et de mon abandon du jeu, c'est la présence de boss style arcade à intervalle régulier. Alors que rien dans le gameplay ni dans le monde autrement ne semble justifier cette exercice. De plus, ce qu'il faut faire peut se révéler obscure au possible. J'ai arrêter lors du boss des insectes, notre double. Impossible de trouver l'action à faire pour blesser l'adversaire et le jeu ne nous donne alors aucun indice supplémentaire. J'aurai apprécié juste une foutue ligne de dialogue pour arrêter la galère après avoir eu l'impression de tenter toutes les solutions possibles.

Il y a une option pour annuler les combats, ce que j'ai fait et je me suis demandé si j'avais vraiment envie de continuer. Ben non :/ Pour moi un boss pas clair, vraiment trop obscure, non pas sur ses paternes mais sur ce qu'il faut faire pour avancer, ce genre de boss, c'est un red flag. Pas d'indices, débrouille toi à trouver notre soluce alambiquée à la con pendant qu'on te tire dessus alors que c'est à la base un jeu mignon, d'énigmes et d'exploration, c'est NON.

Conclusion: Un jeu mignon, assez moyen mais avec des boss arcades et chiants.

【色塗りが楽しい！】
優しい雰囲気の世界観で、白黒の画面に自由に色を塗ったり絵を描いたりできる！
最初はこれ全部塗るの大変すぎないか？と思っていたけれど、このマップは来たことある、という目印として塗るのは便利……というところから、だんだん色塗りが楽しくなってきて、最終で気には画面に少しでも白いところがあると塗りにいき、マップの色塗り達成率は最終的に99.93%になった！
どこをどう塗ったかの記録はタイムラプスGIFで残されており、自分の冒険の軌跡を感じられて感動した。

【キャラクターが個性豊かでかわいい！】
登場するキャラクター（動物たち）が皆かわいい。爬虫類や鳥類、虫なんかも登場する。それぞれに人生・生活があるんだろうなと感じられる生き生きとしたキャラクターたちで、とても良かった。
主人公はこの世界ではヒーローで、話を進めるうえでたくさん人助けをするので皆に好かれるんだけど、主人公のことを嫌う子が出てきたりするのも良い。両親や妹との家族関係もとっても暖かくて良い。
それから、主人公の性別が決まっていなくて、最後までプレイヤーが好きに解釈していい形だったのも良かった。主人公の服装も男の子っぽいものからキラキラドレスまで何でも着せ替え放題。多様で楽しい！
私の主人公の名前は「とりももやき」でした。それ主人公の名前なのか～！て最初は笑ったけど、皆からその名前で呼ばれるうちにすごく愛着がわいた。

【納得感のあるパズル、かっこよくて優しい弾幕バトル】
お絵描き以外のゲーム性も良かった。ジャンプなどのちょっとしたアクションを使うパズルは、アクション性よりもパズル性重視で、難しすぎず、程よく頭を使う難易度。
ボス戦は弾幕バトルで、アクションが苦手なので当たりまくっていたが、やられてしまっても（倒れる画面はあるけど）ゲームオーバーなどのペナルティはなく、すぐに続きから復帰できる。スピード感を削がず遊べて嬉しい。ボス戦のBGMや演出がすごく格好良かった。（弾幕バトルの格好良さという意味ではアンダーテールを思い出した）

【創作の楽しさ】
クリエイター陣からのメッセージで、「クリエイティブじゃないひとなんていない」という言葉がすごく良いなぁと思った。クリエイターという仕事をしていなくても、日々のちょっとしたことで「自分はこれが良いと思う」とか、他の人の作品に何かを思ったりとか、そういうちょとした心の動きって、クリエイティブだよね。

遊びに来た孫と少しづつ進め、クリアまで２年位（笑
協力プレイの場合、1Pは主人公と絵筆、2Pは絵筆のみとなります。1Pと2Pを交代で遊びましたが、タイミングよくジャンプする場所とかボス戦は幼児には少々難しく自分が主人公を操作することが多かったです。

色んな絵筆ツールを使いどこでも自由に塗れるところ、ギフトボックスを拾うと着替えが出来るのが特に楽しかったようで、「闇落ち」という言葉も覚えました（滝汗

コントローラーで遊びましたが、幼児にはアナログスティックでのお絵描きは少々難しくかなり味のある絵に（爆　よき思い出としてゲーム内に記憶しておきます。（描いた絵はアニメーションGIFとしてもPCに保存可能）

可愛い絵柄とは裏腹に心に悩みを抱えるキャラが多く、そういうのが苦手な方は注意かも。
孫は漢字が未だ読めず読んで聞かせていたせいか、余計に重かった（汗

クリア後の実績収集も孫とやりましたが、
ゴミ集め衣装集めオブジェ集めは流石に飽きたようで、最後だけソロに。

唯一無二の？お絵描きゲーム、絵柄が気にいった方はどうぞ。

An adorable puzzle adventure with some out of place bullet hell boss fights.

The graphics and overall graphical style of the game is great.
All the characters are adorable and the world is a joy to explore.

The audio tracks are great background music, but there is very little sound in the game.
It makes sense though since there is not a lot of action in the game.
The sounds that are there, are fine and never get on my nerves.

The gameplay is somewhat Zelda-like, in that you travel around the map solving other people's issues. But without the action.
Most of what you do in the game is solving some light puzzles and travelling the map.
At the end of each section is a boss fight and for me personally, those are the only thing that let the game down. And I think the developers knew that because there are several options in the game to make these fights easier.
In a combat focused game these bullet-hell styled fights might've been appropriate, but in what is essentially a kid friendly casual game they don't fit.
Obviously YMMV, but I hated these fights.

That being said, would I recommend this game?
For most people I would, but I would definitely mention the boss fights.
And that's for the simple reason that nothing in the description, overall vibe of the game and the screenshots indicate these to be an important part of the game.

- Cute Artsy Game about finding your passion, dealing with self worth and the wonders of talking to each other.
- Phenomenal Soundtrack, mainly instrumental with the exception of 1 or 2 pieces.
- Very zelda-like with completing areas unlocking new powers. Secret Areas etc.
- Lots of optional side activities and collectables.
- I found side characters and random npc's a delight to interact with. Eventually it grows a bit stale, especially if you are at the post-game.
- Coloring in stuff and drawing things is fun even if you're garbo tier stick-man level artist like me. Makes it a bit funny with how characters over-praise your art sometimes.
- In-game hint system helps getting 100%, recommended to take advantage of this post-game. Clocking in around 14 hours for 100%, if you just go for main story this game can be done in around 6 hours or so.

J'étais très intéressée de base par ce jeu et sa mécanique de peinture, mais malheureusement, je me suis lassée de la peinture en 5 minutes. Bien que je suis sûre que les mécaniques se rajoutent au fur et à mesure, le fait de s'ennuyer si tôt dans le jeu fait que je préfère m'arrêter là. De même, l'histoire ne me semble pas assez rythmée pour moi (pourtant j'ai l'habitude de jouer à tout types de jeux dont des cozy games). Autre point négatif, le choix de couleur est très réduit. Je m'attendais à pouvoir choisir parmi bien plus de couleurs et ce dès le début (peut-être que ça vient ensuite) ou bien aimer les couleurs de départ (ce qui n'est pas le cas sauf une ou deux).
J'aurais vraiment voulu accrocher, vu tout le bien qu'on en dit, malheureusement ce n'est pas le cas pour moi.

How can you make another Wandersong? I watched the trailers, I played the demo and still I was not convinced.
But it's Wandersong again and a better game in terms of gameplay and pacing.

There is a metroidvania-like structure to it, with new painting-themed powers to help you in your journey, a few light puzzles, lovely boss fights and an amazing set of characters scattered all over the place.
You don't feel overloaded with new characters/dialogue as you are always free to go wherever and come back later. The backtracking gets so enjoyable as you can colour the world, adding layers and layers of new paint every time you pass through. They also try so hard to involve you in the art of the game, make it yours, make it personal. And they will love whatever they do. Cause you are the best at drawing IN THE WORLD. They love you so much and they are not afraid to say it.
It's just so lovely. So so lovely. Play it.

A true delight. I liked it way more than I thought I would, the mechanics were more invovled and surprising than one would expect. The writing feels honest and genuine, I don't remember rolling my eyes or cringing at anything. The music is awesome and sometimes I just stood in place to listen to it. Not only do [spoiler] boss fights?![/spoiler] exist they're really hype. Getting 100% is supported in-game, as in there are characters that can give you hints which areas still have stuff in it or what to do next in general, and there's no "no hints" achievement so do not hesitate using those! I was smiling and giggling the whole* time playing it so it's an easy recommendation. It made me want to paint something irl!

谜题与其说是用画笔创造，不如说是利用地形限制和上色与否两种状态拼接，画笔比起绘画工具更像是一种开关，并没有将创造发挥到极致。不过倒是有很多可以自由在白纸上绘画的机会，NPC们也会把你的画挂起来，这点看还挺萌的。

评个分的话综合7/10吧，一般推荐。

Az utóbbi időben egyre többször találom magam szemben egy-egy olyan gyöngyszemmel melyek a 2020-as években készültek, de csak évek múltán találkozom velük. Pont ilyen a Chicory: A Colorful Tale is. Évekkel megjelenése után lett alkalmam kipróbálni, és ráadásul pont akkor, amikor a gyermekem is megérett rá, hogy együtt próbáljuk ki. Az kell mondjam CSALÁDI JÁTÉK-nak is kiváló a co-op mód miatt, de saját jogom is egy kiváló műalkotás ez.

Képzelj el egy életre kell színezőkönyvet, melyet először csak pár színnel és esetlen mozdulatokkal tudsz festeni, majd új és új technikákat tanulva életre kell maga a kifestőkönyv világa, s megelevenedik egy mese is benne. Körülbelül ilyesmi a Chicory is. Egy Zelda-like világban logikai puzzle-öket kell ecsettel-színekkel-gondolkodással megoldani. A fejezetek végén bullet hell jellegű küzdelmek várnak a játékosra, de azokat úgy hallottam ki is lehet kapcsolni, ha túl nehezek.

Képi világ: Aranyos, izometrikus, retro, amelyet a játékos maga színezhet ki saját kedve, s később saját mintái - és SPOiLER: akár saját színei - segítségével is. Igazán kedvesen vannak megrajzolva a karakterek, épületek, s maga a könyezet is. Relax játéknak sem utolsó. Esetleg a fekete-fehér dolgok színessé tétele repetitív lehet az arra érzékenyek számára.

Zenei világ: a különböző pályarészeknek hangulatokhoz passzoló hangulatos zenéi vannak. A nagyvárosban jazz szól például. Azt kell mondjam, hogy a soundtrack alkotója kitett magáért!

Történet: Sok játék készült a számítógépes programok hajnala óta. Számos érzés került megjelítésre jobb-rosszabbul. Úgy vélem ez egy mélyebb godolatokat ébreszteni képes történet, amelyben a készítők saját élményei, érzései is visszaköszönnek.

算上美术和音乐，面对轻中度用户来说，Chicory 就是steam上最优秀的类2d塞，这个品类下几乎没有对手。

对于游戏爱好者来说，Chicory 的问题也十分明显：前期引导节奏偏慢，玩法展开较为克制，直到第三、四章之后，随着能力逐渐丰富、可探索区域不断扩大，游戏才真正释放出探索的乐趣。当然我可以理解前期慢节奏的目的：让玩家享受拿到画笔后到处涂鸦的感觉。（的确这种体验成功吸引了大量轻度玩家购买游戏）并不是所有玩家都是冲着解密探索而来消费的。

真正打动我的，是 Chicory 并未将自己局限在传统意义上的“治愈游戏”框架之中。我见过太多以“治愈”为卖点的独立作品：用可爱的画风吸引轻度用户，再配合一个安全而俗套的故事，以近乎流水线化玩法设计的方式制造情绪感动——某种“爆米花电影”式的体验。起初，我也以为 Chicory 会是其中之一。
但当我仔细阅读游戏文本，倾听小狗与野餐省居民、与小菊苣之间的对话时，感受到了一种极其真实的“活人味”。那些看似轻描淡写的交流中，隐藏着对“创作者”这个角色的剖析与救赎。我相信小狗的角色中或多或少有制作组团队的影子，他们真正将创作中对“自我角色”的思考融入故事，以交互，以游戏的方式表达了出来。
此外，我也在游戏中清晰地感受到了这支来自加拿大的团队对自然、对土地的热爱——无论是地图的空间结构，还是音乐所营造的氛围，都在悄然诉说这一点。对此，我想向他们致以由衷的敬意。

One of the most downright enjoyable experiences I've had with a game in a while, and by far the best interactive coloring book you could ask for. For how casual it seems on the surface, it has a surprisingly engaging story about self-worth and what it means to be a creative. Along with that, it features some of the downright coolest boss fights I've seen in any video game! A surprise to be sure, but a more than welcome one!

Мне сначала эта игра не понравилась, потому что начало унылое. Но после часа игра раскрывается лучше старфилда, добавляются новые механики типа прыжка, светящихся красок, рисования на воде, скольжения по краске. В пещерах есть тараканы, пожирающие цвет. Механики в каждом регионе простые, понятные, но дают геймплею новизны. Понравилось прыгать по тучкам, кстати. Боссфайты тоже есть, но имхо — душноватые для такой игры, как и все квесты на коллектиблы + сцаная почта.

Сюжет про типикал художников. Депрессия, ответственность, картины собственные — говно. В итоге приходит решала-гигачад-уборщик и становится самим пиздатым владельцем кисти за всё время. Юмор где-то на уровне моих давних 16 лет. В целом, аудитории до 23 лет юморец зайдёт. Дальше, как мне, будет в целом кринжовенько и уныленько

В целом, добротный проект. Он необычный. Раскрашиваешь буквально всё сам от и до. Рекомендую поиграть, на стимдеке так особенно. Моя оценка, несмотря на все шероховатые моменты — 7/10

An absolute masterpiece, I really enjoyed this game a lot. A story with themes of art and expression, finding yourself, depression, burnout, the crushing weight of expectations. Kind of reminded me a bit of the tone of Omori but with funny little animals and art and slightly less scary haha. I really enjoyed the friendship of my character and Chicory and meeting all the fun characters in the world. Some of the boss fights [spoiler] Dark Chicory / Dark You [/spoiler] and the final one were incredible, I loved the music and even had a bit of difficulty on a few of em. Also thank goodness for the fill tool, idk how I would've colored everything in otherwise haha.

这么好的游戏怎么这么冷？？？游戏玩得很舒服，可以很开心地画画而不必在意实际上画的是什么样子，因为不管画成什么样npc都会猛猛夸我，很有成就感。花了一番功夫达成了全成就，达成全成就的时候游戏作者会打电话给我，分享一些他的创作心路和在角色身上投射的情感。游戏作为最让人有沉浸感的信息媒介，创作需要耗费的心力是远远多于创作其他形式的作品的，作为游戏爱好者我非常喜欢听游戏创作者讲述这些......看到他们说即使我们可能永远也不会见面，但只要玩了这个游戏我们就是朋友了的时候很感动......这就是创作的意义吧，作者的真心捧给认真做全成就、用心对待他们作品的玩家，双向奔赴。而且游戏做得非常全性别友好，没有熏人的顺直男味儿。
