Неплохо как идея, но реализация хромает.
Физика прыжков скопирована хорошо: скорость движения и в полете похожи на любую кс, в том числе гравитация/высота прыжка и дальность прыжка. Ускорение velocity (max speed) не ограничено, набирается от стрейфов и плюс-минус всё так же очень похоже на кс. Серф карты пока не играл, но встречал элементы на бхоп картах и в принципе выглядит и ощущается очень похоже.
Проблема игры больше в картах. Они сделаны мягко говоря сомнительно. Карты лежат в большой перемешке из лёгких и "тяжёлых", нет адекватной (линейной) сортировки по сложности. По сложности карт штук 50 и есть разные режимы с автодвижением, с механикой подпрыгивания, классические бхоп и сёрф. Но конкретно фановых карт мало (в отличие от какой-нибудь кс2 с картами симпсонов и соуспарка, которые весело проходить просто по одной лишь этой причине), почти всегда расчёт идёт просто на сложность и топорность "нужен бхоп и всё тут", нет интересных паттернов и бэкграунда - это уныло, хотя копировать можно было до посинения. Ведь бхоп карт (и соответственно паттернов оттуда) наберётся как минимум пару сотен штук за счёт только лишь одного воркшопа кс2. Лёгкие карты иной раз представляют из себя 10 платформ по прямой, в таком случае даже грузиться на карту дольше, чем её играть. Некоторые карты здесь просто сами по себе кривые, например буст с прыжком не срабатывает, только со 2-3 раза можно набрать достаточную дальность прыжка и скорость. Очень часто не понятно куда идти, куда прыгать и что делать - это отсутствие логики карт (провальный левл дизайн) - нет подсказок, наводок, визуального языка, направления. А некоторые карты так вообще жуткая темень и фонарик (под себя...) здесь совсем не спасает = с освещением тоже беда. Прыжковые платформы вообще работают через раз и запускают вас в воздух всегда на разную высоту / с разной силой. Спецэффекты не понятные, то есть прыжковая платформа - это какие-то красные блики, а финиш вообще какая-то кнопка с грибами (походу под грибами разработчик именно этот финиш и придумал). Не понял отсутствие карт KZ (паркур), раз уж тут зачем-то засунули SURF карты. Жирный минус за ачивки по картам из платного DLC. Ну и не понял зачем было нарушать вековую традицию бхоп карт и убирать авто-респавн, когда долго стоишь на платформе без прыжка. По итогу на одной платформе можно и стоять сколько нужно и распрыгиваться сколько хочешь. Оптимизация отвратительная - много фризов и просадки фпс с 400 до 50-100 регулярно.
Игра прикольная, но более лучшим решением будет просто скачать бхоп карты на cs1.6 / css / cs2 и проходить их там. Зачем играть в пародию на игру, когда есть совершенно бесплатные оригиналы, в которых более качественно сделан и бхоп, и серф. И карт там наберётся пару сотен, если уже не пару тысяч. За весёлое времяпровождение и некоторые достаточно трудные карты всё же поставлю рекомендацию. За счёт карточек выбил всю цену игры, считай получил её бесплатно.

This game is built around parkour, but the environments you have to jump through look like rough CS: GO workshop drafts—unpolished and lacking attention to detail. It all runs on Unreal Engine 4, but the graphics and lighting are underwhelming, and the character physics are kinda iffy.
Why wouldn’t you want to recommend it? The gameplay itself is pretty raw. Even though the game has long left early access, version 1.3 makes it seem like the developers kinda abandoned it halfway. Most levels, split by different mechanics, suffer from inconsistent difficulty. You might finish an easy level and then immediately hit an expert-level challenge. On medium levels, there are obstacles that an unprepared player just can’t get past in a reasonable time. There are moments when you have to jump to a block at such a tricky angle that it feels unfair even for a bunny hopping master—tryhards don’t even stand a chance here
I'm not a fan of this mechanic, even though I get that it's a nod to CS:GO (the design even looks like it was kinda ripped from Portal). But even there, thanks to Source physics, those tricks were doable with some effort. Here, everything just feels clunky. The character doesn't grab platform edges, so you're constantly at risk of falling. Most maps don't have proper checkpoints. The game's presentation and overall gameplay feel are really low.
As a parkour game, 'Bunny Hop League' clearly falls short of what you'd want. Since it still feels unplayable, giving it any rating other than negative just isn't possible.

На игру забили ещё до релиза. Карты максимально неприятные, механики много где не работают, сёрф, баннихоп... вообще все доставляют только неприятные ощущения. Количество карт можно пересчитать по пальцам, а половина из них ещё и платная. Новые карты не добавляют, комьюнити, логично, у игры нет.

Imagine extreme sports, but everyone is a hyperactive bunny. Fast-paced, chaotic, and slightly absurd, it’s as much about dodging opponents as it is about mastering your hops. 8/10—chaotic, and somehow very addictive.

While the engine is smooth and has potential, and the maps are kind of fun to play, the game lacks so much basic QOL features that it makes it a chore to navigate. Things like being able to change the level without having to leave to the main menu; entering in noclip to scout the level; the server browser not working at all; getting stuck in loading dialogs all the time and having to restart the game, etc...I would play this if it gets polished and introduces a working multiplayer, but as it stands right now, I wouldn't play it.
This is a speedrunning game except you're punished by going fast. The physics/engine for that rewarding bhopping experience simply isn't there. You constantly gain speed from air strafing, and there's no cap so you just keep getting faster and faster with every jump until it becomes too unrealistic to control.
The platforms are small and spaced out just enough that it requires you to be at a very specific speed to reach them, but as soon as you make one jump, now you're going too fast to make the next one so you have to reset your momentum. It becomes a very unsatisfying dance of starting and stopping constantly after every few jumps since there's no other way to manage your speed.
Most games like this you can wiggle or make wide arcs in the air to stall and redirect your movement, but in this game the more you turn the faster you become so a lot of the time it's more beneficial to just hold W and move in a straight line, which goes against the design of what makes these types of movement games fun.

Wonderful first person movement game, with a good variety of maps and modes for the price~ As someone without any experience in any of these movement types, it was very challenging, but I never really felt like I hit a wall because of the good difficulty curve of maps (besides the very beginning and learning surf, and Ruins at the end). Would have been fun to hang out in multiplayer and just jump around with people, but unfortunately it's pretty dead. Still, it's a good game with bhopping, surf, slide, and ramp maps, all of which were satisfying to learn.

Bunny Hop League runs on the Unreal 4 engine, which causes the physics to be very different from Source-based games. This results in your muscle memory from these games to be almost completely useless. You can tell the developers tried to make it feel like Source, but they gave up trying at some point. The biggest issue with the physics though is the height of the player. Because of the player model being shorter than in CS:S or CS:GO, you constantly overshoot jumps, causing you to miss platforms.

The maps are a mixed bag. Some of them are beautiful, some of them make your eyes bleed; Some of them are fun, some of them are absolute dogs**t. The biggest issue with the maps is the huge amount of dark spots where you can't see anything. You can't change the brightness of the game either and the only way to see stuff is to use your flashlight which has such a tiny radius, it's practically useless. Sadly, most maps feel like they've been made in less than 15 minutes, with texturing being offensively bad and the gameplay being essentially a copy-paste job. Also the DLC maps (which are PAID) are very low effort. Most of them use only a single brick texture for the entire map... JUST 1 !!! How lazy can you be??? At times, the game feels like a glorified asset flip.

Achievements for completing each map are cool and all... if they worked that is. You literally have to use the Steam Console to download an older version of the game in order to unlock some achievements, since in the latest version, they are bugged and never unlock.

Overall, this game is just a cash grab to monetize on the niche community that is the CS:S / CS:GO BHOP community. The developers have already abandoned it so it's essentially a dead game.
at first I hated the unity-looking bhop port but as I played more I really liked a lot of the maps, and beating some of the hardest ones was a pleasure. If you like Bhopping give this game a try.

This game is pretty much officially discountinued and it probably wont be long before it is delisted from the store as well.
I played this at release and it was pretty fun back then, but bunny hopping is a dying art now and most new fps players dont use it at all and therefore do not need to practice it.

Existem muitos jogos. Alguns são bons, outros são mais ou menos, outros são ruins. Existem jogos bons que parte das pessoas simplesmente não podem gostar, não por haver algo de errado com o jogo, mas sim pelo jogo não se encaixar em seus gostos, da mesma forma que é plenamente possível gostar de um jogo tendo consciência de que ele é ruim, simplesmente porque é prazeroso joga-lo. Mas a maldade desse jogo ultrapassa os limites da tecnologia. Eu estava platinando alguns jogos, só para passar o tempo enquanto Silksong não lança. Foi um grande erro escolher platinar esse jogo em específico. Esse jogo deixou minha vida mais miserável, e mais amarga. Eu não vou me alongar nos detalhes sobre como esse jogo me fez mal, visto que isso não é relevante para outras pessoas que forem comprar o jogo, então vamos nos concentrar em aspectos do jogo que são comuns a todos.
Os erros de BHL já começam nos bastidores, na escolha da engine, para ser mais específico. Se você quiser fazer um jogo sobre bhop, é lógico que você vai fazer ele usando Source, mas, por algum motivo que eu realmente não consigo compreender, BHL foi feito usando Unreal. Saindo do aspecto da Engine, vamos para o jogo em si, e começando pelo começo: o tutorial.
Novamente, BHL erra em um aspecto básico: o tutorial não cumpre sua função de tutoriar. Ele foca em ter um narrador engraçadinho para dar um toque de comédia que o jogo com certeza não precisava, o que não seria um problema se o tutorial fizesse o trabalho dele. O tutorial não te ensina absolutamente nada que você não teria descoberto sozinho, ao mesma tempo que não ensina aspectos básicos do bhop, e por causa disso eu precisei recorrer a um amigo que já tinha experiência com bhop no CS:GO. Indo para as fases, eu realmente não entendi porque alguém acharia uma boa ideia organizar elas por ordem alfabética dos nomes, ao invés da ordem de dificuldade. Não que isso ajudasse muito, porque os marcadores de dificuldade são extremamente imprecisos.
Visto que a ideia do jogo era treinar bhop, e ele pode ser jogado em multiplayer, eu realmente não entendo porque não foi adicionado um modo para os jogadores fazerem seus próprios mapas, e compartilhar eles. Isso automaticamente faria o jogo ficar muito melhor, e não restringiria o jogador aos mapas que já vem no jogo.
Voltando para escolhas estranhas que foram feitas no jogo, eu realmente não entendi qual era o propósito das músicas. Nesse tipo de jogo, existem duas opções boas: fazer algumas melodias simples, pelo menos para dizer que o jogo tem música, ou deixar ele sem música. Mas nenhuma das duas opções chegou no produto final. Foram colocadas músicas royalty free extremamente datadas, e que não combinam nem um pouco com o jogo. Elas simplesmente não precisavam existir.
Agora para as conquistas:
Tem uma coisa específica sobre esse jogo que por mais que eu pense, eu não consigo entender: por que a conquista do mapa Welking Blue se recusa a funcionar? Cada mapa te dá uma conquista assim que você termina ele, mas para conseguir a conquista do mapa Welking Blue, você precisa baixar uma versão antiga do jogo, o que só deixa isso mais estranho ainda, porque isso significa que a conquista costumava funcionar, mas com o update 1.3, ela não funciona mais.
Isso sem contar com a conquista de terminar algum mapa 500 vezes, que é basicamente uma forma de fazer você alternar entre dois dos mapas mais fáceis até pegar ela, e a conquista de pular um milhão de vezes, que eu obviamente consegui por meio de um glitch, porque nem fudendo que eu vou jogar esse jogo até completar um milhão de pulos.
Em conclusão: se você quiser jogar bhop, não faz o mínimo sentido gastar 10 reais em um joguinho mequetrefe enquanto o bhop do CS é de graça.

This is one of those games that aren't fun solo.
I'd say that joy did come from the competition.
But unfortunately: The multiplayer is just dead.
People stopped playing this, so it is just empty.
It looked promising when it first came out, tho.
Seems like the developers abandoned it, sadly.
No workshop, cash-grab items store, It's awful.
Most of the maps are quite fun, but it's boring.
Especially if you have no one to play this with.

It's been dead for these past two years in fact.
And: I don't think that a revival will ever come.
It would truly be a waste of money to buy this.

Bunny Hop League is a standalone version of bhop custom maps in FPS games. The game had potential but is pretty much dead with no updates. We need tools to make our own maps and workshop.

The fov is actually horrible and you cannot change it. Horrible game feel. No workshop?? Why does it always open my oculus VR software when I launch it too.

The game had serious potential for making a more user friendly bhop game, however even though I still play and have fun it is very clear the game is dead.

Es una poronga, anda para el culo, pero me salio 4.99 y es para ayudar a un fellow dev, pero para la proxima aprende a escribir bien el script de la camara asi no sea bugea cuando muevo el mouse gil de goma.

This game simply isn't worth it, the graphics are great but... The movement is "Alright" at best, it just doesn't feel as good as it does on CS:S or CS:GO. Combine this with the "Meh" performance (On a 1080) and it just doesn't sell. I want to give this games devs props for the map design though, a good amount of the maps are truly stunning with really immersive lighting. Feel like this team of devs would make a damn good co - op KZ game.
