Das originale Bullet Soul hat mir richtig gut gefallen. Infinite Burst macht vieles richtig, letztendlich war meine Erfahrung aber dann leider doch frustrierend. Denn ein Spiel ohne Speichersystem sollte nicht so häufig zu Abstürzen neigen wie dieses.

Dafür, immer wieder von vorn anzufangen, ist es dann doch nicht unterhaltsam genug. Das Gameplay ist fair und einsteigerfreundlich, aber insgesamt schon zu leicht, sodass mir beim x-ten neuen Anlauf nach einem Crash einfach die Motivation fehlt.

Game is stupidly easy if you just play for survival. Playing for score, however, is fun as hell, especially in burst mode which is basically like Baby's First Dangun Feveron, barely paying attention to the enemies while you zip around trying to collect medals to keep your multiplier up before they fly off the screen. Also, in general this version appears to be a bit better than the original release, with somewhat more interesting enemy and bullet patterns. Still, this is less of a bullet dodger and more of a medal collector. Looks nice, audio can be annoying in burst mode because of your avatar yelling the same thing over and over, but in general this is a fun score chaser. Not a 5/5 but maybe a 4.

The Microsoft XBOX store version is region-locked, so Steam is the only way to go now.

-Musique power metal au top. Ca reste en tête et ça colle parfaitement à l'action.
- Un peu trop facile sur le début, beaucoup (trop) de cancel. Du coup sur les premiers niveaux c'est pas très intéressant.
- Ca se corse après, j'ai tjs pas battu le TLB en 1CC.
- M'enfin, surtout : C'est fun. Super gameplay, graphiquement c'est beau, (un peu fouillis des fois)
Du coup pour tous les fans de shmups, je recommande.

A promising, new shmup game enters the foray. It shows great potential, ready to prove itself as one of the greatest among its peers. But when it comes to its actual performance, it cannot do as well as everyone had hoped. The game vanishes and then returns with a brand-new form after 3 whole years, promising that it will be better than before this time around.
Will the game be able to fix its shortcomings, being remembered for ages as a mighty shmup?

[h2]Apparently not![/h2]
I honestly, truly cannot believe this is what the developers came up with after 3 years of the original game being out on the market. I did not expect them to go out of their way and remake the game from scratch, but also did not expect to see them changing the gameplay in a way that hurts the overall experience even more, with the additional content being something that doesn't warrant a new release and could have been added as DLC.
If you have not read [url=https://steamcommunity.com/id/TDP-X/recommended/544580/]my review on the original game[/url], I recommend you to do so before continuing as the core of the gameplay has not changed and a lot of my points still stand. What you get in Bullet Soul: Infinite Burst's normal modes is almost everything that was already in Bullet Soul, with gameplay's shortcomings and clarity & difficulty issues staying intact. Even the launch issues were the exact same. There are a bunch of changes that are welcome, but unfortunately they bear no effect on the gameplay.
To name a few of those good changes: Enemies who were exclusive to the original game's caravan mode now appear in this version's normal modes, which differentates the experience to a small degree if you have already played the original. Score calculation at the end of a stage can now be sped up. Main bosses now get a visual alert before facing them and also have a visible countdown timer. The brief invincibility frames on some of the bosses have also been seemingly removed. And finally... the new music tracks are really, REALLY good.

[h2]It has changed... but not for the best[/h2]
Seems like the developers saw all the criticism about the game's difficulty and decided to tweak it, but the way they have done so is incredibly mixed at best and really bad at worst.
I'm saddened to say that the developers' solution for the original game's easy and dull gameplay is enemy and bullet spam. They have tried to raise this version's difficulty and challenge by increasing the number of enemies appearing on the screen, increasing the enemy projectile speeds, adding brand-new dense bullet patterns to the mix and also introducing enemies that only remain on the screen for a very short time so you won't have much time to shoot them down.
And they have done this in an uneven and uncurated manner imho. If the original was very easy in the main stages and got hard when you got to the bosses, Infinite Burst's difficulty curve starts fluctuating in middle of the main stages. One moment you are moving down enemies with literally no effort, and then all of a sudden you will see the screen filled to the brim with enemies and bullets. And in some cases, like the bossfights, the bullet patterns seem nearly undodgeable at times. These all feel like desperate attempts to make sure you always have something to dodge and hope it fixes the dullness. Which it doesn't.
This enemy/bullet overuse also makes the screen readability situation even more dire as now there are way more things on the screen that can blend with each other. And to make matters worse, some enemies can now enter the playing field from literally behind you, in addition to the sides of the screen. In fact, many enemies now arrive and shoot from the lower parts of the screen even from the early levels, greatly increasing the chance of getting hit by something you didn't see coming.

Infinite Burst also adds entirely new things to the mix. One of these additions is the brand-new Burst Mode, where Bullet Soul turns into Crimzon Clover. A bootleg version of Crimzon Clover, to be precise.
This mode ditches bombs in favor of the new burst ability. By defeating enemies, coins will drop from the enemies for scoring purposes and also a gauge at the side of the screen will gradually fill up. When the gauge is full, you can press the bomb button to trigger a time-limited burst mode, resulting in a massive power increase and all of the newly dropped coins turning into a variation with higher score value and the power to extend the burst time. You can keep the burst mode going by constantly collecting coins, or end it prematurely by pressing the button again and unleashing a bomb.
Now this seems fun when you read it in the text format. When you play this mode, you realize pretty quickly that it's not really much different from the main game anyway; It's the same thing with all issues and boredom intact. And it also has issues of its own. The burst gauge fills up too slowly for it to make an impactful difference, and its rainbow colored primary shot just worsens the visual readability issue. THe enemy and bullet patterns are still uninspired. While the game switches your health with a rechargable shield in this mode, the shield pickups refill a laughably small amount of it. The characters will utter a voice line upon picking up any coin during burst mode, which really gets on your nerves after a while.
The only positive change this mode has and I am utterly baffled on why it has not also applied to the other modes, is the fact that bullets actually disappear after an enemy's death. No, they don't turn white and stay on the screen; They cease to exist. The devs removed this unnecessary visual element in one mode instead of removing it from the whole game and I have no idea why.

The next addition to Infinite Burst is... UNLOCKABLES! By fulfilling certain requirements, you can unlock a number of artworks and also a hidden game mode called "Musou Mode". It's exciting to see they actually added something like this, right?
What if I told you they are all worthless letdowns?
There are only 4 artworks in the whole game, each showing up on the screen after beating the campaign mode with any character. And to unlock Musou Mode, you have to beat the campaign with each of the 4 characters. In other words, you have to play through the same, boring game 4 times for a game mode which is literally Burst Mode with unlimited burst gauge! Your reward for going through a boring experience multiple times is a game mode that is even more boring because it literally has no challenge in it! Can that really be considered a reward?

Tries to enhance the experience of the original game utilizing new changes and features, but still cannot be better than the dull game it once was. There are way better shmup games to play out there.

this is a really bad shmup.
- Burst Mode: rolled up to True Last Boss on my first play-through b/c i didn't die during my run. Bullets just get cancelled so easy & Bosses' Health drains so fast that their phases change before they even fire bullets lol

- Everything moves so fast. like needlessly fast on burst and normal mode (touch slower on normal mode) , but you don't even get a chance to see anything because it zooms on screen and then is dead and it's bullets are cancelled

- The bullet patterns on here are atrocious, and they come in massive groups when a boss appears. Honestly, they are not that hard to dodge. What is hard to dodge is the 5% of a time when a boss switches phases and before it is done shaking and visually showing the player it is going to attack, it blows a load at you extremely fast from a forward position of its body. On Normal Mode, this happened a few times, and it was uber cheap. Basically, the shot is unavoidable laser unless you were just randomly strafing during a boss's phase change.

- Again boss bullet patterns are ugly, and they are layered on top of each other, some swirling, some snaking, there;s triangular blobs that get bigger, then maybe rows to dodge, plus random bullet spray, and it is all going on at once, "like what is going on here dude?," not to mention some bullets are puke green and pastel yellow and pink. It's like getting shot by the Easter Bunny.

- Occasionally, bad enemy placement. Like I said enemies whiz in without warning, so there are some areas where enemies whiz in and station themselves in the player's safe zone near the bottom of the screen. Kills you or knocks down HP. No warning.

- this game should have been slowed down and created more difficulty by making the bullet cancellation less OP, and using legit bullet patterns. Another thing with messy bullet patterns is that it makes them boring because you end up with huge gaps that make it so easy. The developer tried to compensate this lack of difficulty by speeding up the game but the error is just so blatant.

- music is uber low quality for the ending , sounds like a mic was put up to a speaker to record the song. like a bad attempt at pirating a song off the radio to put into ur game lmao

-endings are just a screenshot? the game crashes the window during credits, and then pops up a new window to show the ending screenshot. like da heck is going on there

- weird screen resolution that you have to manually stretch out, otherwise, you are playing in a tiny box, no tate mode, 720p max

Overall, with the main ship presented, it is an easy to 1CC, fast-paced mess lacking challenge that doesn't allow you to take in the scenery

Fantastic game. The absolute best format for online leaderboards (full game run, individual stage via bancho mode, caravan and it is organized by pilot). Amazing soundtrack, casino quality score bonus feedback and an overall great aesthetic. It does work on steamdeck you just need to touchscreen press “start game” and it works perfectly fine. I

I’ve bought this game 3 times (xbox 360, nintendo switch and now steam/steamdeck) and each time i’m happy with the purchase. If you’re looking for a slightly more forgiving shmup this is the game for you. I need to mention again how good this soundtrack is…

敵を倒すとその敵が発射した弾が消えるので、とにかく出現と同時に倒すゲーム。
ゲームモードは大きく分けてバーストモードとノーマルモードの二つがあり、ゲームルールや敵の出現パターン等に違いがある。

【気に入った点】
・攻撃的なほど稼げるシステム
バーストモードでは敵を早く倒すほど早回しで稼げ、ノーマルモードでは敵に近づいて素早く倒すほどスコアに掛かる倍率が上がる。
頭空っぽにして撃ちまくれる。
・自機が強い
全部で4キャラ居てそれぞれ火力が出る敵との距離は違うが、適切な距離で戦えばどのキャラも高火力で非常に爽快感が強い。
もちろんキャラによって稼ぎ易さは変わるが、スコアランキングはキャラごとに集計されるので問題無し。

【気に入らない点】
・画面横から突然出現する敵が多い
被弾理由のほとんどが敵からの体当たりで、ノーマルモードでは真後ろから出現する敵まで居る。
・ラスボスがトレーニングモードで練習できない
一番トレーニングしたい相手なのに出来なかった。

【総評】
このシリーズは初プレイだったが面白かった。
弾避けを頑張る必要があったのはラスボスくらいだったので、弾避けよりも敵を倒すのが好きな人に特におすすめ。
ラザロやデライラっぽい敵が居ること等からスターソルジャーを意識した作品のように感じた。

1st: runs perfect on steamdeck!
addictive and bullet hell newcomer friendly shmup with great visuals and even better soundeffects!
If you aren't one of the few "chosen ones" shmup players, who have reflexes and memorisation with godtier abbilities, you will have a very fun game on your hands.
It has various game and trainingmodes but collecting medals in burstmode is best to score high. finally a game where one can reach the end without dzens of continues (although you can).
played it on my 360, still fun!

I rate Bullet Soul Infinite Burst 3.5/5. Almost exactly like the original Bullet Soul, this is still a pretty good vertical scrolling, 1990’s arcade styled shmup game (which lets you continue an infinite number of times if you die). Unfortunately, with only 5 levels (and these are not new levels either), it is just as short as the original and still fails to let you rebind the keyboard controls to alternate keys (or to even tell you what the default keyboard controls are).

+/- This is a slightly more polished re-release of the original Bullet Soul game, and if you buy or have already bought this version, there seems to be no reason to get the original. If you already have the original however, I also see very little reason to get this version (unless you happen to be some sort of great fan of this particular game and/or its bland music). If you do not already have either version though, I do recommend buying Bullet Soul Infinite Burst; it is the best of the two versions (especially if you can get it during a special sale as this is still a fairly short game).

+/- Infinite Burst has the same enemies, the same bosses, the same characters/spacecraft and the same five levels as the original Bullet Soul game. I think this version has slightly easier to understand menus and perhaps slightly (very slightly) better graphics (perhaps running at a slightly higher resolution but I’m not sure). This version also lets you play any character in any mode. The new Burst mode also replaces the old B mode of the original version of this game. In the new Burst mode, destroyed enemies turn into coins for you to collect which fill up a meter which allows you to enter a more powerful "burst" mode which upgrades your primary weapons instead of letting you use the normal limited-use bomb type weapons.

+/- Perhaps the only other highly recognizable difference between Infinite Burst and the original Bullet Soul is this version has an “arranged” soundtrack option for its generally bland, busy, frenetic and forgettable heroic music. The alternate version of the music doesn’t really make it better though, just different.

- Infinite Burst also does not fix the key binding problem found in the original version (in that it still has no ability to rebind keyboard keys to alternate keys at all and again assumes you will be playing the game using some sort of controller) and continues to assume that you want to exit the entire game if you dare to press the escape key.

+ The default keyboard controls continue to be fairly intuitive and responsive though. The inability to rebind keys aside, this continues to be a solidly good game of this type for both beginners and advanced players. The game gives you immediate access to up to four characters/spacecraft and lets you have an infinite number of ‘continues’ if you repeatedly die (so you can relax and see all the levels and the game’s ending no matter how bad you are at it).

The default and apparently unchangeable keyboard control scheme is as follows:

‘Z’ is the primary fire.
‘S’ is an alternate, tighter firing pattern.
‘A’ fires a bomb or activates burst mode depending on the game mode you are playing.
‘1’ pauses the game
The Escape key, when pressed at any time while the game is active temporarily switches the game to windowed mode and brings up a dialogue box asking you if you want to exit.

Bullet Soul Infinite Burst offers the classic version, burst mode and caravan mode of Bullet Soul. With Bullet Soul just being the classic mode in this game. While I liked Bullet Soul classic mode, I think almost all the additions and changes made for burst mode offer a faster, more furious and funnier experience. Particularly, if you've played classic mode or the original Bullet Soul for a while.

The big difference between classic and burst mode are with classic you have limited bomb attacks that both cause damage and offer limited time protection from enemy bullets. In burst mode, gone are the bombs which are replaced with a burst meter that fills up to unleash devastating damage when released.

Additionally, with burst mode you don't have multiple ships. Instead, you have a single life bar. Once depleted it's game over. Although, the game has green square 'R' drops to recover a little bit of health. These are few and far between. So, don't count on taking a few hits and recovering that damage anytime soon or even all of it. As it doesn't seem like damage and recovery are 1-to-1. It can take a few 'R' drops to recover a single hit.

The levels (at least the first half of the game) seem to be pretty much the same between classic and burst. Although, there are a few more enemies in burst, and I feel the game play in burst is faster. It also seems the difficulty tuned a little better in burst mode. As in classic its pretty easy to coast to stage 3 destroying most non-boss enemy ships before their bullets ever have chance to get close without being canceled.

Because in Bullet Soul, the major mechanic is all enemy bullets are canceled upon their death. And the sheer amount of firepower of the player's ship (no matter which they select) is enough to hold the enemy back until least half way through Stage 3 on classic mode. However, burst mode keeping the enemy ships in check takes a little more work. Once the player can't cancel bullets, they can often loose swaths of the play area preventing additional non-canceled bullets until the player can recover and gain back control of the play area.

Another mechanic to keep in mind is Bullet Soul rewards aggressive, point-blank shots. Being near the top of the screen means knowing where and what enemies are coming. At the same time, Bullet Soul favors the enemy on side of the screen and then the same enemy on the other side style of pattern. Which does keep the memorization down. Even when the game doesn't follow this, I feel the game is usually pretty straight forward in where the next wave is coming from. Though, there's this gold combiner ship that sometimes catches me out in burst mode.

I liked Bullet Soul classic and enjoyed Bullet Soul Burst even more. I'm glad I became familiar with the game on classic mode (for me, I just played Bullet Soul before this game). Classic mode let me get a good feeling on what challenges the game was going to throw at me. And Bullet Soul Burst rewarded that previous play experience. I recommend Bullet Soul Infinite Burst if you like massive, overwhelming firepower while the game can still challenge you. At this point I would just buy this version of the game and skip Bullet Soul. Which is basically just the classic mode of this game.

다만 키 설정은 엑박 패드 및 아케이드 스틱만 설명하고, 키보드 유저는 전혀 배려를 안해놓은 점에서 별 5개 중 4개를 드리고싶습니다.

디폴트 설정으로는 버튼 배치가 이러한데요, 따로 옵션에서 키 설정 바꿔놓지 않으면 불편해집니다. 더 골때린건 게임 중 일시정지는 1번키나 2번키로 배치해놔서 전작으로 입문했을땐 일시정지 후 재시작하거나, 컨티뉴 하는것도 한참은 해맸네요.

마치 패드로 플레이할 것을 강제하는 느낌이었습니다.
요약하자면 키보드 유저에 대한 UI가 불친절했네요.

그것만 제외하면 대체로 재밌었습니다.

Un peu déçus, ou sur ma faim. J'ai essayé le premier avant, et celui-ci reprend les grandes lignes, mais en modifiants quelques trucs. Il n'y a plus les tirs ennemis qui "partent en fumés", mais il semble que nous ne soyons pas plus inquiété pour autant. J'ai franchis les premiers niveaux facilement, tandis que je ne suis pas un bon joueurs. Comme pour le premier, le but final, serait peut-être de récolter le plus d'argent possible, ce n'est pas trop ma tasse de thé, un genre de SHMUP qui ce rapprocherait d'IKARUGA. Un peu dubitatif, tandis que la réalisation est sans reproches- Je n'ai rien vu de notables. Il y a une des personnages, qui rend le titre encore plus facile, que ce soit son auto-fire très puissant, et son attaque spéciale. Elle me fait bien rire, quand on tire avec X, en plus du rayon différent de celui de A, elle balance des poing dans nos ennemis. Les jauges des premiers bosses est dépouillée en peu de temps!

原作の制作会社と移植担当会社のゲームデザインセンスの差が如実に表れた作品だ。

本作はケイブの弾幕縦STGである怒首領蜂大往生とケツイの移植を行ったメーカーによるオリジナルSTGだが、「移植でノウハウが蓄積されたからオリジナルを出してみますかね」とそんな安易な発想で生まれたかのような、ゲームデザインに物足りなさを抱えた作品だ。

ゲーム自体は一見してスタンダードな弾幕STGであり、ケイブ作品の移植を何作か担当していただけあって、「ケイブっぽさ」がそこかしこで感じさせる。穿った見方をすればオリジナリティがないとも言える。

実際触ってみるとどこにでもあるような個性の弱さを感じさせる。無難に遊べるがゲーム展開が全体的に単調で、機能としても「敵弾を放った敵を倒すと放たれた敵弾が消える」というケイブでよくみる仕様もあるのだが、ケイブの場合それは一部の敵だけであったり、ゲージを使用した特殊機能であったりといつでも使えるわけではない。ところが本作の場合はいつでも使えるどころかすべての敵に適用されているので、特に序盤の敵はそれを見せつけるかのように「敵機出現」→「攻撃」の行動において敵弾がこちらに辿り着く前にほとんどの敵を何も考えずに倒すことができてしまえるせいで、ゲームの仕様は伝わりやすくある一方で、「やらされている感」を覚えてしまう。敵が出てきて敵弾をこっちに放っているのに辿り着く前に敵が死ぬせいで向かっている弾が途中で消える、というのを大量に見せつけられるとわざとらしさしか感じない。大げさであり、演出過剰。それのせいで機体によっては思考停止した攻撃で場面を乗り切ることもできてしまうため、弾幕STGの本来あるべき面白さとかけ離れてしまっているように感じた。別の見方をすると手軽に敵弾を消すことができるので初心者に配慮したバランスにしたと言えなくもないが、仮にこれを初心者向けにしたとしても果たして初心者がこれを楽しめるだろうかという別の疑問が浮かび上がる。きついから弾消しにありがたみを感じるのであって、きつくない局面で弾消しが起きても…ねぇ？

初心者救済用のオートボムも「敵の接触に対しては発動しない」という半端さが個人的には嫌いだ。ボムの抱え落ちをせずに安全に進みたいからその機能をオンにするのにそれを無効化する攻撃があるのでは何のためにその機能が存在するのかわからない。例えば敵に接触するというケースが「稼ごうと思って前に出すぎた」というのが原因であればリスクとリターンが釣り合っているのでわからなくもない。逆に言えば前に出すぎない限り敵との接触は避けられるので、無理に稼ごうとしなければ敵と接触をすることもなくオートボムが正しく機能するからだ。ところが本作の場合、どこに位置取りしていようと明らかにオートボムを無効化して被弾させようという狙いの突撃が幾つかあり、ただの意地悪にしかなっていないあたり老舗の制作会社と移植中心の会社のセンスの差が明確に浮き出ていた。

ゲームデザインそのものとしても道中は緩急が弱く、同じような敵を長く相手にしていたりでシーンが退屈で間延びしがち。肝心の稼ぎも爽快感が薄く、「どうすればプレイヤーが楽しめるか」という観点が最初から抜け落ちているのだ。なぜその観点が抜けているのかと言えばそれを考えるのはその作品を生み出すメーカーだからだ。最初からお膳立てされていてその観点を持つ必要がない移植メーカー（特にべた移植が多いメーカー）がそれを持ち合わせていようはずもない。或いは見当違いの方向に行ってしまっている。ボスの弾幕にしてもかわしていて楽しいと感じさせるものは少なく、単純に面白みがない。もっというと全体的にどこかで見た要素の継ぎ接ぎ感があって薄っぺらい。

ただ値段は安い。これは本作の魅力の一つだ。文句はあれこれ言ったがこれだけ安ければ難点に感じている部分も正直そんなに気にしていない。「MAGESがまともなゲーム作れるわきゃねぇだろ」という期待の薄さが最初からあったのも大きいが。

「どこのものとも知れないインディーSTG」と考えればあり。イラスト担当のぽよよんろっくもMAGESならではのチョイスであり、男性キャラはともかくとして女性キャラはなかなか魅力的と言える（もとが2011年作品なのでさすがに古さは否めない）。

なので結論としては
[h1]出来にさほど期待していない低価格STGを買うつもりならおすすめ。
商業メーカーが手掛けた作品だから相応の出来なんじゃないかと期待するならおすすめはしない。[/h1]

The perfect shmup for any kind of gamer cause Infinite continues makes it possible for anyone to complete it without being a pro.
Great rocking music and 4 characters in the beginning to choose from for multiples runs.
Bullets cancel when you destroy enemies but the bullets are very fast so you are not safe all the time. Some people may says it is too easy, but i have no problem with it.
Even more you can practice any stage in any mode as long as you beat the level once wich is good to become a better player.
Had a lot of fun with this so recommended.

Eh, it's passable. But overall in my 5.5 hours with the game so far, it's just kinda meh. The game also just loves to crash after completing a level (usually level 4).

The whole premise of bullet soul seems like a fun idea on paper but in actual gameplay it makes things kinda dull.

There's no game options, like difficulty, lives, extra lives points thresholds etc. It's just one difficulty and that's it in every mode.

Speaking of every mode, they all feel the same. You have to beat the game with each of the 4 characters to unlock the final mode, but again it's just the same stages but your ship is very OP which makes it even less exciting.

Graphics are nice and the soundtrack is awesome. Other than that, barely passable. 6/10.

Sehr einsteigerfreundlicher Vertikaler Shoot em’ Up, den ich damals in den Ardennen auf der (Red Ring of Death) Xbox 360 schon gespielt habe.
BS Infinite Burst bietet eine Anzahl von Spielmodi, darunter (sehr schön) einen Arrange Mode / Directors Cut des original Bullet Soul Spiels. Wer schon BS besitzt, braucht dieses deshalb nicht umtauschen, da die Infinite Version sich anders spielt. Anzumerken wäre nur, dass BS stramm in Richtung “Spieler Abwatschen” marschiert, es also nicht einfach ist.
Zurück zu Infinite Burst…
BS IB ist sehr, sehr einsteigerfreundlich! Wem Cave’s Mushi oder DoDonpatchi zu schwer ist (trotz Novizen Schwierigkeit) kann sich hier erste Erfolgserlebnisse holen, ohne direkt schon nach 20 Sekunden alle Leben verbraucht zu haben.
Die Spielmechanik ist simpel: Gegner versprühen Kugelregen; Todt des Gegner lässt Kugel verschwinden (Bullet Cancel), Münzen regen setzt stattdessen ein, diese erhöhen den Highscore immense. AUS das war es… Sehr überschaulich.
Wie die meisten Cave STG’s ruht auch die “pew pew bang bang” Mechanik von BS IB auf drei Knöpfen: Schuss, Dauerfeuer, Spezialfähigkeit.
Dauerfeuer ist meistens ein 45 - 60 Grad nach oben gerichteter Streuschuss (was auch sonst ne?) hält der Spieler dazu gleichzeitig den Schuss Knopf gedrückt, wird der bildschirmfüllende Kugelvorhang zum Laserpointer. Alle Geschütze richten sich auf eine Stelle aus, prima um Bosse, Mini-Bosse und solche, die es werden wollen, schnellstmöglich den Gar auszumachen.
Die Spezialfähigkeit ist im original BS die typische Bombe. Während diese in der Infinite Version zum Burst-Cancel Strahler mutiert. Der Schaden erhöht sich drastisch, feindliche Geschosse verschwinden in einem roten Münzregen, diese roten Münzen füttern weiterhin Highscore und die Burst-Leiste.
Bosse & deren Mini-Me’s haben auf ihren Körpern Geschützpforten verteilt. Diese stoßen einen wahren Touhou Kugelregen aus. Wer also nicht sehr schnell diese ausschaltet, kann sich nur durch die Bombe (BS Mode) oder durch den Burst-Cancel retten.
BS IB spielt sich wie eine gesunde Mischung aus Memorizer / kluge Positionierung mit einem milden Anteil an Reflex-Shooter. Position ist alles in diesem Spiel. Daher ist es wichtig die Level zu lernen (Memorizer)
Die Steuerung ist präzise mit Gamepad, oder einem Arcade Stick und kann nach den eigenen Vorstellungen angepasst werden. Die Grafik ist in 720p realisiert. Das Spielfeld kann an den Monitor angepasst werden. Es bietet auch TATE & YOKO in den Einstellungen. Also nichts Besonderes ist hier anzumerken.
Der Soundtrack & und die Sound Effekte sind okay. Auch hier halt nur normaler Durchschnitt, ohne Höhen und Tiefen.

Bullet Soul: Infinite Burst is an expanded release of the original game, featuring an altered original mode along with a new mode with completely different mechanics. At heart, this is essentially a caravan game albeit an odd one since anything destroyed will have it's bullets cancelled. This will not strike everyone's fancy as it is highly unusual compared to lots of other shmups nowadays. The point of this mechanic however is that you gain more meter in either main mode the higher up the screen you are when destroying enemies so aggression is key while risking getting point blanked by an enemy or ramming one (which is more punishing than getting hit by a bullet) if you have any error.

It's a good game to turn on if you just want to shoot **** and blow stuff up and look at big weapons and colors, while having a layer full of secrets and tricks as one would expect from a caravan-like game. I think it's a bit mindless until you start to take the time to understand how some of the secrets work for those chasing scores.

The gameplay isn't my personal favorite because I think it leans too much into it's bullet cancelling mechanic, but it can feel like a legitimate scoring game when you really grind away at it. The music is alright, the style is ok, the game isn't offensively bad in any particular area but I'm not sure if it will really blow veterans away unless they happen to be big fans of scoring systems similar to Caravan games or even more closely Dangun Feveron.

The reason I can't recommend it however is that trying to play the game repeatedly I keep crashing when stage 5 is about to start and I can't figure out why it keeps happening randomly. I can't consciously recommend it in good faith if the game has issues being finished, but I have seen full runs on the leaderboards submitted for each character (and I finished a proper run myself eventually) so this particular problem may vary from person to person depending on miscellaneous hardware configurations. For me though, the random crashes are annoying and a real deal breaker. The game doesn't seem to log anything on shutdown/crash so I can't figure out why the crashes ever happen.

It’s the most basic bullet-hell possible with little depth and a steep difficulty progression. Feels like an arcade game that wants to take your money… wait this is a port from arcades, right? Figures.

It’s also a pretty lazy port in general with the game running in low resolution and not having any options for PC.

There are better and cheaper schmups out there. If you are going to play this then you might as well just emulate arcade systems instead. In my opinion this isn’t even worth buying on a discount.

A schmup where you select 1 of 4 different ships and go through several stages filled with the usual destruction and mayhem.

This is a bullet hell game where you will have a lot of bullets to dodge and have to come up with strategies of movement for some more dangerous enemy attack.

One mechanic that seems to be pretty unique to this game is how if you kill an enemy then all bullets fired by that enemy disappear.

You get 3 hit points, if you lose them – you die. Attack can be held down and you have a super mode that charges up while you kill things and collect point power-ups. There are no weapon power-ups or different weapons here – your selected ship will attack the same way from start to finish.

It controls well, but is that really a thing that’s worth mentioning? You’d expect a game that’s all about precision to control well, but I was struggling to find anything good to say about this.

While things that are important are clearly visible, the amount of fire, explosions and everything else just makes it difficult to appreciate any visual design. For the life of me after beating it I can’t even remember how any of the bosses looked and I beat the game yesterday.

First mission I didn’t get hit at all, it was effortless. Granted I’m used to playing Touhou (although I can’t beat half of them even on Normal setting), but it’s still easy. Second map gave me a run for my money. Third map I got hit once. Fourth one took me at least 2 continues. The difficulty curve here feels like it’s designed to take your quarters rather than offer a legitimate challenge. In any Touhou game I can at least get to the last stage on Normal setting reliably. Here it’s just too steep of a difficulty curve.

Pour moins de 4 euro en promo il mérite LARGEMENT qu'on si intéresse ! Enfin l'occasion de pouvoir jouer au mode Infinite Burst que je n'avais pas voulu payer plein pot à l'époque de sa parution boite sur 360 alors que j'avais acheté la première version justement ainsi que les DLC contenant le mode B, le Caravan Stage et le nouveau personnage/vaisseau. C'était d'ailleurs un beau doigt d'honneur fait aux premiers acheteurs et joueurs qui ont soutenu le jeu mais à qui ont disait de repasser à la caisse pour un simple mode supplémentaire ! Alors qu'ils auraient du proposer ce mode supplémentaire en DLC pour les premiers acheteurs (ainsi que le rebalançage du mode normal par la même occasion). Bref ... content donc car Bullet Soul c'est du manic shooter japonais pure souche ! Accessible et à la fois hardcore ! Tout dépendra de votre manière de jouer ! En bas d'écran ? Il sera accessible car le principe de bullet cancel (les boulettes disparaissent quand les ennemis qui les tirent sont tués) est ici mis en avant.
- Bas d'écran = Safe : idéal pour ceux qui veulent dans un premier temps apprendre le jeu, faire le 1CC (terminer sans continu) mais il faudra quand même bien jouer un minimum et s'impliquer.

- Le plus haut possible sur l'écran = pour les joueurs hardcore ! Ceux qui vont accrocher et voudront exploser leur record ! Plus on joue haut, plus le multiplicateur augmente vite et inversement ! Le scoring pousse à prendre des risques !

Possibilité d'activer un autobomb (qui divisent les gains de pts par 2 ! Mais idéal pour le joueur normal)

- Mode Normal visiblement réarrangé par rapport à la première mouture 360 .. mais pourquoi ne pas avoir proposé les deux équilibrage ? Version 1.1 et 1.2 par exemple ?! Bizarre ... ils ont rendu le jeu encore plus accessible, les Boss et mid Boss qui étaient justement le smoments de bravoure à l'origine sont ici trop simple ... une petite déception pour moi mais idéal pour un joueur lambda.

Mode Burst : On ramasse des pièces, quand la jauge de Burst est rempli on active le Burst et on enquille les pts en rammassant les pièces qui change de couleur, on a plus de puissance durant un temps limité, très fun mais super bordélique visuellement !

Mode Caravan super sympa et bien foutu, très accrocheur.

Voila ... j'en garde un excellent souvenir sur 360, heureux de le retrouver sur PC aujourd'hui même déçu par le manque de soin du portage (qualité de l'affichage assez horrible je dois bien le dire, aucunes options visuels dispo, juste ceux de base mais impossible de calibré résolution etc et je ne peux pas mettre en plein écran ... doit y avoir un moyen mais pour l'instant je me contente du mode fenêtre !), la lisibilité en prends un coup ...

Au final, en promo ça vaut le coup et je ferme volontier les yeux sur les défauts mais il aurait mérité plus de soin sur le portage PC quand même ... maintenant entre ça ou l'acheter en boite sur 360 aujourd'hui (hors de prix) ... le choix est vite vue !

Le jeu est fun, accessible, jouable par tous à des dégrés d'implication différent, très bon systèmes de scores en normal, très fun en Burst. Un bon titre.

Dommage que l'équilibrage de base ne soit pas sélectionnable.

游戏本身很好，虽然都是弹幕STG但风格和CAVE完全不一样，初上手需要适应，内容对得起价格，值得一玩。

给差评的理由就一个
分！辨！率！！！
最基本的分辨率调整根本没有，只能忍受1280 X 720窗口，或者无拉伸的1280 X 720全屏（画面还是那么大，剩下的地方全是黑边，全屏个寂寞），而且游戏内Alt+Enter切换，直接关进程，技术力太超前
移植不上心，发售后根本不管，不愧日企，只能差评。

This game is not bad but its not amazing either. It's generally a good time to relax but overall I gotta confess, this game is like an abusive relationship. It's bad but you always come back to it for a good time. I like cancelling bullets and I like the simplicity of scoring by chaining coins. The music is cool but after listening to 100 times I end up just putting my own. It's also fairly easy up until the TLB. This is pretty much my guilty pleasure game in terms of shmups. Buy it... or dont? I'm already in too deep and will continue to chase some leaderboards.

当時XBOX360でプレイして以来、数年ぶりに購入してみました。

追加されたバーストモードは、コインのジャラジャラ感が気持ち良く、ライフ性になった事で気軽に爽快感を味わえますが、代わりにボムが無くなったのでゴリ押しができなく、緊張感があります。

ノーマルモードは敵配置などのバランス調整がなされていますが、ザコ敵の急な体当たりによる事故死でストレスを感じる場面があるのが残念でした。
難易度的には前作の方が低いでしょうか。

実績はXBOX360版と比べ、累積系が緩和されていると思います。
最後に取得したのが「メダル王」だったのですが、想像より時間がかかって不安になりましたので、現在の累計数を確認できると嬉しかったです。

OP/ED共に歌が変更されましたが、それぞれの良さがあります。
前作のALTAIRが大好きだったのですが、今作では静かな曲に代わっていて

気になった点としては、フルスクリーンモードでプレイしていると急に解除される事が数回あったので、ウインドウモードを選択しています。
ウインドウサイズや位置を保存できないので、毎回手動で調整するのが地味に面倒でした。

It plays like an amateur project created by some Cave bullet hell shump fans. The enemies could spawn from any corners to smash player down (not power down but lost 1 life stock). The mechanical designs are strange and very forgettable bosses. And the boss fight strategy is plain and lack of satisfaction after victory, just like watched a fireworks show.

Got this as a bundle from Phantom Breaker: Battlegrounds, so i can't (or won't) complain.
Haphazardly translated and hastily ported from XBOX 360 to PC without any clear enhancements, which shows:
-Resolution limited to 1280x720 with no option for higher and it bugs out at fullscreen, forcing me to stop from the Steam client itself.
-Very limited POV with your choice of waifu (or husbando) taking large part of the left or right side of the screen
-improper translation, such as "shot" for lock-on laser and "rapid fire" for spread shot
-Ending untranslated! But the story is nonexistent anyway.

Oh apparently this is but just one of the game mode, the other mode is the regular Bullet Soul. What makes Infinite Burst different? The game has no power ups, you start (and stay on) maximum power, and the standard "bomb" mechanic has been turned into "burst" which fills regularly, clears the screen as it used in a flash, and upgrade your firepower (but not making you invulnerable). Also unlike other many 2D shooters, your ship didn't blow up and replaced by the other and drain your power ups or making it drop, instead there are shield, you got hit you stop firing and invulnerable for awhile. Shield is replenished regularly as you pick the "A" (or "R"?) green boxes that sporadically dropped once per level.

Difficulty raises on its own from stage to stage, from "so easy you can avoid getting shot" to "basically luck and pray you didn't get shot" as you often graze the very very very small gap between all those bullets, your color of bullets isn't different against the enemies, and lastly, again, the small game window screen.

Overall if you get this for free or as a bundle, play it. Otherwise, uhhhh.... idk, 2D shooters are basically relic of a (perceivedly) better days at the arcade community or the "shmups" forums (never liked the term shoot em up or run and gun, because it can mean anything from 2D shooters to 3D first or third person shooters, it's 2D shooters for me, always)

Might consider getting a DLSS card just to upscale this.

First of all, this game should be sold as a DLC to Bullet Soul. Kinda weird decision by dev.

My main attraction to this game is the OST, with Stage 1 and Stage 5 being my personal favorites. The style of this game is anime'ish with the opening and the characters. It is pretty much the BlazBlue of shooting game in terms of style.

In terms of gameplay, when you kill the enemies, their bullet will get cancelled... all the time. In my early playthrough, it did get boring because no bullets are getting near my ship. To spice things up, I had to point blank all enemies. That might help with the scores although I still don't know the scoring mechanics.

For the quality of life of the game, unfortunately you can't save replay. Bancho mode, which the stage select mode can act like the training mode. There is also an online leaderboard if you want to get competitive. After you beat the game with all characters, you will unlock Musou mode. I think Musou mode only makes your ship overpowered.

Ce shoot à première vue classique n'est pas un shoot Cave. L'essence même de la boulette (référence rapide au titre du jeu) est de scorer haut et donc de shooter proche des ennemis et rapidement. C'est moins calculateur que dans les derniers Cave par exemple mais plus instinctif et plus bourrin. Au joueur lamba il paraîtra plus simple qu'un bullet standard mais quand on cherche à scorer vraiment alors la simplicité s'envolera ! 3 vaisseaux, 3 choix différents et 5 niveaux. Du classique oui mais du bon si on veut bien y porter un intérêt autre que le finir.

旧作よりも遊びやすく爽快感が大幅に増したBURSTモードが楽しすぎて熱中しています。
クリアするだけならばおそらく通常モード（ボムがBURST発動ではなく弾消し性能のあるボム）で遊べば良いのですが、出来ることならより楽しさが増しているBURSTモードをお勧めしたいです。より計画的に敵機を破壊しコインを回収していくことでスコアをガンガン稼いでいくモードなのですが、これが非常に楽しいです。

選べる機体に関して。
前作はループ一強という壊れバランスだったのですが、本作では前作最弱機体候補だった主人公ゼンイチはもちろん、全キャラ全ステージにテコ入れが入っている為、ループさえ選んでればOKというような安易なバランスではなくなりました。ゼンイチが主人公機らしい扱いやすさと稼ぎが熱い機体に仕上がった為かなり楽しくなっています。

難易度的な悩みは敵雑魚による体当たりでしょうか。
ゲームのバランスを考慮すれば画面下で撃ってれば安全というお約束、かつ画面上方で戦う程稼げるシステムであるためにはある程度仕方が無いのですが、敵雑魚の弾幕よりも「ある程度硬い敵機の打ち漏らし＆画面横からの奇襲」からの体当たり事故が怖いです。
幸いステージ事に状況を設定して挑戦できるトレーニングモードがあるので覚えてしまえれば対策は可能ですが、この体当たり事故は主に即破壊が困難な中型機によるものが多く、早くも1面から発生するので、覚えるまでは辛酸をなめさせられるかもしれません。

The ships are way *way* too fast, especially the default ship, which feels four to five times faster than what you'd probably expect from a shmup...

...which would be a problem if the ships weren't so massively overpowered that nothing other than the large enemies are able to get on screen before blowing up. I mean I've *literally* probably not seen ninety percent of the sprites in this game because they just seem to explode off screen.

If you've been looking for a game where you can zip around the screen like your controller's stuck on mouse acceleration, pressing a win button that makes everything explode before you've even seen it, than you've found that in Bullet Soul Infinite Burst.

...seriously, I have no idea why anyone would recommend this game, to the point that it makes me think that the curators who are recommending this title have no idea what they're talking about.

As it is, it's definitely not worth what they're charging for it and if they were to reduced the price to what it's actually worth, it would cheapen the whole experience to the point where it just wouldn't be worth paying for.

It's a shame because this game has pretty high production values which are just wasted on its crude and heavy handed core mechanics.

最近の弾幕シューは敬遠していたのですが
「殺られるまえに殺る！」タイプのシューティングでとても楽しいです。
４キャラとも強くてそれぞれ個性があるので４キャラとも使っています。
※回り回って、結局主人公が一番強いかも
BGMがいいので何時間でもプレイしてしまいますね。
買った後で気づいたのですが作曲者が伊藤賢治氏なんですね、
RPGのイメージだったからびっくりしました。

　2011年4月に発売されたXbox360用のバレットソウルに調整と新規モードを追加し、2014年5月にインフィニットバーストとしてリリースされたもののSteam版。4人の主人公の中から好きな1名を選び、計5ステージを戦い抜くステージクリア型の縦スクロールのシューティングゲーム。キャラクターデザインに物語シリーズやグリザイアシリーズの渡辺明夫(以下、敬称略)、コンポーザーにはロマサガシリーズのイトケン(伊藤賢治)とリッジの高橋コウタ、編曲にはシャンティやショベルナイトのVirtことJake Kaufman、歌手にはシュタゲのいとうかなこなど、名前の知られた方が多数携わっているのも売りのひとつ。

　最大の特徴は敵を破壊することによって、その敵が放った弾を無効化・消滅させることができる仕様です。弾幕型のシューティングゲームはその物量を回避しながら攻撃をしなければならず、シューティングが下手な私のようなユーザーにとっては「自機周辺の敵弾の情報」「回避可能な空間」と「敵機の位置」「敵機が放つ弾の軌跡」を把握することが難しく感じられます。その点、本作は弾を撃ってきた本体(ボスの場合は部位)を破壊すれば、瞬時にその把握しなければいけない情報を消すことができ、回避よりも攻撃偏重に振られたバランスがとても遊びやすく感じられました。敵機が出現したら全力で叩くを繰り返すだけでなんとかなる印象です。

　無印から調整が加えられたノーマルモードはボムを所持したスタンダードなシューティングですが、ボムの代わりに魂ゲージを溜めることで一定時間攻撃力を強化できるバーストモードはより上記の特徴をさらに強く感じることができました。大量の敵機が出現しても、瞬時に溶かしていけるのでプレイしていてとても気持ち良かったです。

　ノーマルモードと異なり、バーストモードでは敵を倒したときに出現するコインの獲得数に応じてスコアが伸びていき、逆に取り逃すとコイン当たりのスコアが落ちる仕組みとなっているのも面白い仕様だと思いました。合体バースト発動時には画面内にあるコインを獲得する能力もあるので、画面上部まで逃したコインが移動しそうになったらバーストを発動させるなんてことも考えないといけません。また合体バースト発動時はコインが番長コインに変化してレートが上がるので敵が大量に湧くポイントを見計らってなど、色々と試行錯誤できるのも良かったと思います。

　キャラクターとモードが複数あり、それぞれ一長一短あるので何度もリプレイできるのも魅力だと言えます。私のようなへっぽこシューターにとっては一度ロックしてしまえば、画面内のどこからでも敵機を攻撃できるユンが使いやすく、「ばばばばば番長」と言わせるだけで満足感を得られますが、[b]時にはサダハールのことも思い出してあげてください[/b]。あまりに使う人がいないのか、私ですら世界ランク1位を取れました…。これもキャラクターとモード別にリーダーボードが存在するおかげと言えばおかげ。

　実績はそこまで難しいものはなく、本当に敵の配置などを意識しないといけないものは1つか2つぐらいでした。あとは数さえこなせば、誰にでも取得できる印象です。ただステージクリア時のメダル獲得数が一定以上手に入れないと得られない実績は、取得条件がちょっと分かりづらかったです。よく分からないトロフィーみたいなものはおそらく計上されておらず、バーストモードなどで獲得できる番長のメダルのみが対象だと思われます。

　デュアルディスプレイでフルスクリーンプレイ時にオープニングやエンディングなどの映像が始まると解像度が変更されて、画面の比率がおかしくなる挙動がありました。何度再起動しても終始この状況だったので、仕方なくウィンドウモードで遊んでいたのですがこの点だけ気になりました。

　リアルタイムで遊んだ方々からすれば何を今更と思われるかもしれませんが、シューティングゲームは格闘ゲームなどと同じで初心者からはハードルが高く、新規を寄せ付けないオーラみたいなものがあるのです。その点、本作はプレイしてみたら配置とか覚えなくても割とすんなり(初見殺しはあるけど)最終ステージまでいけちゃうし、短時間で何度も遊べるしで、シューティングゲームってこんなに楽しかったんだと思えました。普段シューティングゲームやらない、って人にこそオススメしたいと思います。ホント、ピースオブケークですぅ。

弹幕界的超初心者，star soldier的风格，加上全部敌人打爆以后都会消弹，本作难度非常低，基本上只需要记得几个比较恶心的体术位置就行了。

说一下medal king的解锁方法。今天在评论区看到有人提到了这个，就是说为什么我们玩这个游戏的时候medal king死活不解锁，其实是因为日版xbox版的medal king要求是100个奖章，其他版本的只有25个，但是移植到steam的这个版本是照搬日版的，导致实际上要打100个奖章才能解锁medal king。所以狂刷1面就可以解锁了。

现在解锁了，确实是按每过一关来结算的，不是等到一个完整流程打完才算。所以还是狂刷1面吧（喜）

Bullet Soul Infinite Burst is a game that on paper has everything to become one of the coolest shmups ever made and a personal favorite. It has a caravan-style scoring system with enemy waves to quick-kill, it has the Dangun Feveron item collection mechanic with falling/bouncing coins to pick up without a miss penalty as massive as in Dangun, it has a fast-paced guitar-based soundtrack that fits the action, it has tons of score bonuses all over the place waiting to be obtained with pleasant jingles every time you get one.

But I hate it. I hate this game despite all those design elements. The only reason I kept playing it is to clear it and be done with it. How is that even possible? How did they mess up such an ideal formula?

Well, the first reason is probably the most obvious one : any time you kill an enemy, all the bullets it fired are instantly canceled. That does not exclusively apply to massive or specific enemies like in a CAVE game nor is it tied to a specific shield/bomb mechanic like in a Milestone game. No, every single enemy cancels its bullets upon death. And the cancelled bullets are useless in the game loop.

The result is that the difficulty curve is all over the place because spending the majority of the run knowing that you are not actually threatened by the bullets on screen makes you easily lose concentration and focus. And then all of a sudden, there will be one stray bullet that magically won't be cancelled because its parent enemy wasn't killed for some obscure reason. The issue is that you no longer track bullets as potential dangers until you suddenly have to, without any real warning.

So you are telling me, duh, an easy fix would be to disable that mechanic and surely the game will be more enjoyable. Unfortunately, it won't. The patterns in that game were not actually designed with dodging in mind, and even though most of them are actually technically dodgable, they feel completely out of place in a game that emphazises fast movement.

In Dangun Feveron, the bullets are relatively sparse but fast, which makes sense as you will be moving a lot. If the patterns were slow and dense, then moving at a high speed is bound to be needlessly difficult and very frustrating if you are not a superplayer. But Bullet Soul's patterns are exactly that, slow and dense. Is it because the devs didn't really understand their game? I think it plays a role, and the bullet cancelling mechanic itself is also a major culprit in this case.

If your enemies only fire a single fast bullet, then cancelling that one bullet when they die won't look impressive on screen. So the devs put dense patterns in the game to justify the bullet cancelling mechanic's visual appeal. There's a huge cloud of bullets coming for you and then, bam! Gone in a flash! Better than just a single stray bullet disappearing.The issue is that not only it exacerbates the feeling of not caring about the bullets, it also extends to boss fights whose bullets are not as easily canceled.

Boss patterns in this game are friggin weird, man. That's one of the places where I feel the devs really don't get what their game is supposedly about. The player ships are rather fast, even in focused mode, and yet the boss patterns are slow, dense, and later on feature gimmicks and organic, curving, zig-zagging bullets that wouldn't be out-of-place in a Touhou game. Touhou patterns in my Dangun-like caravan game? With that ship speed? What the hell? Also, the last boss in Burst Mode has an absolutely ridiculous spiral attack where it sweeps across the entire playfield without any visible gaps between the bullets. Either you stay at the bottom of the screen and gamble your lives or you have to move to the top right or the top left of the screen near the boss even though it spawns other bullets very close in a way that feels like a exploit/safe-spot abuse rather than the intended solution.

This is even more annoying when you realize the Burst mode scoring forces you to clear the game to even have a chance at getting a decent score. The end-game bonus is almost worth the entirety of the rest of the game. Why is that? Why ruin any chance at getting a competitive score if you don't kill the terribly-designed TLB whose opening pattern has no place in a game with ships that fast and whose other patterns involve bullets firing other bullets at you at point-blank range from the bottom of the screen, or the boss itself moving at the bottom of the screen and filling the screen with bullets while you can't hit it? While a decent score bonus of a few million points for a clear would make sense, this is not a checkpoint-based game like R-Type where you should give massive point bonuses for every life remaining on clear to prevent checkpoint milking. Such a concern does not exist in this game, so why did they make the clear bonus so massive? It's very baffling. Wanting to reward the clear is fine but not to the point where value-wise, it is worth as much as the scoring in the rest of the game, especially in a shmup that's supposedly built around scoring tricks.

One other thing that makes some boss bullet patterns harder than they should be for the wrong reasons is the way the bigger bullets look like blurry upscaled versions of smaller sprites. That makes them a lot easier to blend in with the background, harder to read and more annoying to keep track of, even without the smoothing filter that blur stuff even more. It might be due to my (rather standard as of now) 1920x1080 resolution but in any case, that's an issue I never had with any other shmup. Even the classic Taito orange bullets, while not always easy to see, were never blurry the way these bullets here are.

Speaking of bosses, the bullet cancelling that occurs when you destroy a part or a phase is very far from reliable. Sometimes the bullets are cancelled and the boss doesn't fire anything for a few seconds as it staggers, sometimes it fires a new pattern half a second after the cancel, so if you want to grab the coins as soon as possible (to maintain your Burst mode for example), you can be screwed.

On top of all that, another really annoying thing in this game is the level design and the enemy collisions. True, you can lose lives due to a single bullet that somehow wasn't cancelled. But as soon as you try to get into the system, the biggest cause of lost lives are the enemies themselves. Because your shot is gigantic and extremely flashy, it easily obscures enemies and makes it difficult to know where they are. This can cause failures to speedkill a wave as the last enemy is seemingly hidden, and more infuriatingly makes you more likely to collide with them.

とにかく敵を倒せば弾が消える、非常に爽快感のある縦弾幕シューティング。
前作は真ラスボス撃破までやりこんだが、本作は変更点が多く新鮮な気持ちで楽しめた。

前作のパワーアップ版であり、平たく言えばブラックレーベルに相当する。
ただし面白いsteam実績が軒並みなくなっているため、やりこみで言えば前作のほうが楽しかった。

難易度に関しては前作よりも難しめ。

バーストモードで[spoiler]ノーコンティニューの場合[/spoiler]真ラスボス出現を確認。

前作同様オートボムは敵弾に対してのみ有効であり、敵本体に当たるとそのまま被弾してしまう。
そのため真横から突っ込んでくる敵機体が厄介だったのだが、本作ではその真横から突っ込んでくる機体が増えている。

加えて高速編隊の増加、弾幕の難化、敵弾の全体的な増加など、かなり被弾しやすくなっている。

特に真横から突っ込んでくる機体は覚えてないと１ミス確定のため、より覚えゲーになったと言える。

本作では大きく分けてバーストモード・ノーマルモード・キャラバンモードがある（番長と表記があるのはステージセレクトモード）。

ノーマルモードは前作におけるverBにあたるが、敵配置の変化や敵弾の増加、倍率の上昇率アップなどかなり変更点が多い。

バーストモードは稼ぎアイテムとしてコインが登場するほか、ノーマルモードとは異なり自機が体力制となっている。
被弾すると1ゲージほど減り、道中の回復アイテムでゲージを回復することが可能。
ただし上限があり、4残機分以上増えることが出来ない。

また敵を倒したりすることによりバーストゲージが増加、MAXになるとショットが強化・コインがアップグレードをするバースト状態に。
この状態になると非常に稼ぎやすくなるが、どうも敵弾幕も強化される様子？（要検証）のため注意が必要。

注意点として、ノーマルモードとは異なりボム・オートボムが存在しないことが上げられる。
ノーマルモードのようにオートボムでゴリ押しすることが難しく、無敵になるのはバースト状態でバースト解除したときのみ？のため、バーストを回避に使うか攻撃に使うか考える必要があるだろう。

とはいえコインが大量に降ってくる様は非常に楽しく、BGMも格好良くアレンジされており文句なしのクオリティとなっている。

またキャラバンモードではループが使用可能になっており、前作以上に生存しやすくなっている。

前作と比較するとかなりパワーアップしたものの、全体的な弾幕密度は濃くなったため難しさは上昇したように思えた。
セール時でも前作と本作は倍ほど値段が違うため、どちらを購入すべきか力量に合わせて選ぶと良いだろう。

Este juego tiene varios pros y un contra. El juego tiene un buen control, buenos gráficos (aunque se mantengan a 720p nativos) y una banda sonora espectacular. Además es muy rejugable y tiene muchos modos de juego, entre los que destacan el modo Burst (el modo estándar) y el modo Normal (similar a la versión primigenia de Bullet Soul, con vidas y bombas).

Ahora bien, el juego tiene un problema en la jugabilidad, y es que debido a su mecánica de borrar las balas de los enemigos cuando mueren, en muchas ocasiones a los largo de las fases, el juego no tiene reto, básicamente puedes quedarte en la parte inferior, en el centro, y ni siquiera moverte hasta llegar a un boss. En el modo Burst vas cogiendo monedas para puntuar, lo cual te incita a moverte continuamente, especialmente cuando activas el Burst (hyper), pero básicamente hay muchas partes sin reto salvo en los jefes, los cuales son bastante duros sobre todo porque el juego te mal acostumbra a relajarte y no hacerte esquivar balas.

Aun así merece mucho la pena, Si vas a puntuar o intentar hacerte un no miss, el juego te ofrece un buen reto acompañado de una gran banda sonora.

・国産STGのマイナーチェンジ版（のベタ移植）
　無印版バレットソウルにバーストモードを追加して、敵パターン等を再調整した作品です。
ループが常時使用可能にはなりましたが、ストーリーもステージ構成も変わらなければ、キャラクターも変わってません。
　箱360版でも言われていた様ですが、正直言って別作品として出す程か？と思えるレベルです。
　気になるのは無印版との違いだと思われますので、その辺を中心に書きます。

・引き続き日本語対応（地味に重要なこと）
　無印版もそうだし、わざわざ触れる必要は無いと思いますが、今回も日本語対応です。
　個人的には大事だと思ってますので、触れておきます。

・バーストモードの追加（唯一最大と言って良い変化）
　C○VE作品で言うところの、ブラックレーベルみたいな感じです。
　弾消しシステムはそのままで、ゲージ満タンでバースト（いわゆるハイパー）が発動可能になり、ショット大幅強化。
　効果は凄まじく、低火力のゼンイチでも無双できます。
　あと、残機制からライフ制に変更されたので、あまり事故を気にせず攻めれるようになりました。

・調整は少し大味だけど許容範囲（ノーマルモード除く）
　敵配置や攻撃パターンは刷新され、バースト，ノーマル両モードで一部除き概ね共通です。
　あと、2週目も無いようです。条件満たした時に真ボス出てきて、1週で終了。
　バーストモード前提だからか、高速弾や体当たり狙いの敵がかなり出てきます。
　火力とライフ制でバランス保ってますが、調整の安易さが拭えません。
　特にノーマルモードだとキツイです、バーストモードより火力は低いわ殺しポイントは増えてるわ…。
　死角となりやすい横や後ろからの特攻で事故った時には、結構キますｗ
　ここまで露骨に事故狙いの作品も珍しく、エグいという意味では上位に入るかも知れません。
　規則的なので覚えれば対処できますし、パターン構築の楽しみもありますが、アドリブ重視で何も考えずやりたい人には向いてないかも知れません。
　本作のメインはバーストモードであって、ノーマルモードはおまけって事ですねｗ
　どうしてもノーマルモードでプレイしたい方は、無双モード（通常ショットがバーストと同じ）の開放まで待ちましょう。
　キャラバンモード？そっちもエグいけど、短いし良いでしょうｗ

・ BGMはアレンジ（個人的にはもっと変えても良かった）
　楽曲自体は変わってませんが、ショベルナイトや怒首領蜂大復活ブラックレーベルのJake Kaufman氏によるアレンジ版に変更されてます。
　無印版同様、サントラもMP3とFLACの両方収録で配信されてます。

・悪いところも変わらず（せめてPC向けの微調整位はして欲しい）
　OPEDが縦画面でも横向いたままとか、[strike]マウスカーソルが常に表示されているとか、[/strike]（修正済）悪い仕様もそのままです。
　箱360版だと3年も空いてたのに、何やってたんだか。新規OPソングよりも、そういうところを先に修正するべきでしょう。
　しかも、後述の様な不具合？もあるし。

・不具合？（おま環だったらごめんなさい）
　20時間弱プレイして、ステージクリア後のロード中に数回落ちました。最低2回はバーストモードでした。
　当方の環境が原因かもしれませんが、無印版では一度も発生していないので、触れておきます。
　ちなみに、当時の環境は2600K＋RX480＋Win7_64Bitです。

・作品自体は悪くないけど…（それ以外の部分にモヤモヤする）
　無印版同様、攻めを推奨するスタイルとライト層でも気軽に楽しめる作りは引き継がれてますので、作品自体はオススメにしても構いませんが、他の部分をメーカーに問う意味で、あえて親指下げます。
　ぶっちゃけ、CA○EならDLCで出してる内容だと思います。
　作品単体の値段は高くありませんが、それでも購入を躊躇う無印版ユーザーもいるでしょう。
　自分は所持者割引でリリース当初に購入しましたが、割引がなければセール時に買ったかどうかというところでした。
　そして、新規の方も悩むと思います。両方買うなら無問題ですが、どちらか片方となると…難しいですね。
　決め手はバーストモードが肌に合うかと、ループ愛ですかね（無印版はVer.Bでしか使えない）ｗ
　せめて、まとめ買いパッケージがあれば違うんですがね。
　メーカーさん、ファントムブレイカーでバンドル販売する位なら、無印版もそうしましょうよ。

PS：这个游戏可以部分改键（手柄键）。如果你是键盘玩家，只需要搞清键盘和手柄按键间的映射关系，就能畅快的体验游戏乐趣。由于游戏不像隔壁那个爆衣骑士团那样多操作键，你完全可以按往生复活的按键进行游戏。
PS的PS：对了，这游戏大概好像没有bomb（我实在找不出什么可以PS的了）

바렛소울의 확장팩...인지 뭔지
여튼 인피니티 버스트입니다
기존 바렛소울의 노멀모드가 그대로 탑재되어 있으며 버전2 는 제외된 상태고
대신 버전2 의 패턴을 그대로 갖다 쓴 버스트모드랑 버스트샷이 기본샷으로 탑재되어 있는 무쌍모드가 추가되어 있습니다
무쌍모드는 탄속이 느려진 대신에 탄량이 많아진 벌레공주 매니악모드 같은 느낌이네요
버스트모드는 도돈파치 대부활의 하이퍼모드같은 느낌으로 도중에 캔슬도 가능합니다
캐러반 모드는 기존의 캐러반모드랑 약간의 차이점이 있습니다
그 뿐인 느낌이네요. 딱히 뭐 새롭다 뭐다 할만한게 없는게...
기존에 바렛소울 산 사람이라면 뭐 안사도 크게 상관없지 않을까 싶네요
다만 아무것도 사지 않은 분이라면 인피니티 버스트를 추천합니다

前作と比べると地味に敵が硬くなっていたりする。前作で軽く2周目行っていたのが今回はそうでもなくなってしまった。
これまた地味に進めないといけなくなって、またヘコむ。

オールクリアできていないのにスコア稼ぎをしてしまうのは、スコア稼がせてくれるシステムが悪い。（いい意味で）

ちなみに前作は「全画面モードで起動したら、OPで画面が一旦ブラックアウトしたでござる。

XBOX360版のほぼスライド移植で、前作同様PCに対しての適正化がロクに出来ていない状態なので、あえて買い増しする程の仕上がり。本家より安くは買えるしSTGとしては面白いので、未経験者ならどうぞ。

This is just a quick PSA to let players know this isn't a new game as much as it is a different set of arrangements of the same game. This really should have been a DLC expansion rather than a separate title.

The new "Burst" modes as seen in the trailer omit bombs in favor of offensive gameplay using a new powerful weapon that charges during the stage. Lives are also replaced by a shield system. The player starts with three charges, and getting hit consumes one charge of the shield. Shields can be replenished with green "R" pickups in stages, but once the shield runs out, getting hit again results in a Continue.

If you own the original game, pick it up on sale if you're up for more challenges. For new players, the choice is a bit less straight-forward. I think it really comes down to preference. I recommend watching videos for both versions, and make a decision from there.

（非常に悪い情報を追記しました、購入は慎重に検討してください！）
最初から選べるゲームモード選択画面には以下の5つがありました。
・バースト
・バースト+番長
・ノーマル
・ノーマル+番長
・キャラバン
steam説明文にある「隠しモードが一つ」とは「無双モード」のこと。
xbox360と同じ条件でモード解除可能。

ダメな点
・アナログで斜め方向へ自機の移動ができない（xbox360アナログスティックで確認）移動は縦横に限定！
・horiジョイスティックは使えない、（英語版バグ情報）。
・ソフトを立ち上げてsteamコミュニティを見てるとopムービーが突然始まり強制中断になることがよくある。
・音声バランスが悪く、デフォルトでは音が小すぎてほとんど聞こえない（設定メニューで調節してもバランスは整わない）。
・本来二人でプレイするゲームなのか？片方の画面は寂しい状態のままゲームが進行するので一人プレイの空しさを常に感じるゲーム。
・画面の90°回転機能などは無いので、飽きたら「横シュー」にしてみよう、とか出来ません。
・steamの宣伝文にある「新しいプレイスタイルのコンビネーションバースト」が何か？プレイしてもさっぱり分からない。「コンビネーションバーストとは合体バーストのことか？」とメールでサポートを通じて販売会社に質問したが無視、返答は来ていない。

良い点
・画面解像度設定項目などない、フルスクリーンかウインドウか？の2択だった、しかし映像はキレイ、ドットが粗いとか感じなかった。
・Xbox360用コントローラで一応遊べた。（斜め移動ができない点を除いて）
・イージーモードなど無い、でも無限コンティニューで20分くらいでエンディングに誰でもたどり着くことができる。

Beau, coloré, epileptique, des tas de choses à l'écran, un mode "caravan", abordable mais quand même interressant pour les scoreurs, co-op local, vaisseaux aux gameplay différents et bien pensés, classements dans tous les sens, musique(bon c'est pas danmaku unlimited à ce niveau)sympa, en un mot comme en cent : FUN, véritablement FUN.

J'avais fait l'impasse sur l'original, ne faites pas la même bêtise avec cette version...cerise sur le gâteau il est moins cher et plus mortel qu'un paquet de clopes.
Indispensable !

What I love in this game - you need no time to understand how to play, and beat it. Definitely worth the cost. It's a great time-killer, and a good game for a shmup-fan. Great music with 2 versions of it is included. If you want a competition - this game has leaderboard.

Also it's kinda funny to hear "COME GET SOME DESU" or "YOU SUCK DESU".
