So sad my best game with future future engine , the game won't start with my new graphic card.

Only players are me and my homeboy getting railed in challenges for 4 hours straight.
9/10 with friends overall, ragebait disguised as a first person class based shooter.
Too advanced for its time and fell off because the world wasn't ready for parkour shooters at the time, STAYED DEAD because it was honestly mid.

I like the style but the bot Ai was terrible except for Lim and the campaign was a little buggy. I'm on team save the ark. Had a catchphrase with a friend I played with "The Brink (of uninstalling) Experience".
I'm trying to convince everyone i know to download this and play lmao.
"ChatGPT generate me a videogame that all my loyal armenian soldiers will love" type of game.

man i remember playing this on the xbox 360... until the damn think did a normal one and fried itself.
It's largely as I remembered it... except now i can aim properly. And no a higher resolution doesn't make the character models any less ugly.
The entire thing is... very very scuffed. Though somehow in an endearing way? I guess it's a bit of the 'rose tinted glasses' effect, at the very least to an extent. Nothing that really got in the way of gameplay though.
The announcer is extraordinarily annoying and doesn't stop talking. Like. Ever. At all. You'll get random dialogue barks about command points and who's doing what objective - informative, yes. Annoying - ALSO yes!
And well yeah on the topic of scuffed, the animations and some interractions... defnitely are. like a game that's not [i]quite[/i] finished yet. Like how the scavenger perk requires you to be at a very specific location for you to use it. Or how the range of your buffs (Engineer damage buff, Medic health buff, Soldier ammo resupply) isn't very well conveyed (or at all). The parkour is also extremely basic. I wasn't expecting Mirror's Edge - but honestly calling the movement 'parkour' is a gigantic stretch.
The guns are... well, the aspect of the game where it's painfully obvious it was entirely developped with consoles in mind. The moment you hold down your trigger for more than a quarter of a second, the spread skyrockets. And hipfire is entirely useless you're literally breathing down your enemy's face - at which point you might as well use melee (or a shotgun).
There's also the issue that the game is somehow almost not dead. There are basically three servers available. And they [i]do[/i] fill up with actual people, sometimes. If you drop into an empty server it [i]will[/i] fill up with bots. And these bots are very OK most of the time. Really, unless you've got a friend group of at least four people you won't consistently get human players to play against.
Otherwise... I liked it. Yeah, I know I've been largely negative but it just rubs me the right way. There's a surprising amount of build customisation if you can get over the weird gunplay and the overly chatty announcer. Besides, it's free and I think it's worth a play.
Wasn't actually that bad, just massively unsupported by the publisher, so doomed to fail.
Great as a concept but failed by the execution.
The mechanics, once mastered made it enjoyable to move through the levels and the character design along with the art style was well done while being very much of its time.
8/10 dentists agree, its a game.
