This game is practically a casual clicker where you connect stars to form constellations. It’s fairly short and maybe a bit too easy for people who’ve opened some astronomy atlas at least once, there is only northern sky to explore and only a few texts of basic trivia about the constellations themselves. On the positive side, the game is available at a fair price, and features achievements plus trading cards; but if you’re looking for a more sophisticated astronomy-themed game, look elsewhere.

The main objective is to discover all 35 constellations on the Star Field three times each, making it optimal to complete a constellation discovery and identification three times in succession before moving on to the next constellation. During subsequent attempts, the difficulty slightly increases, including the appearance of incorrect stars.
The soundtrack is relaxing, though the star-clicking sound can grow irritating for some. Several constellations are ridiculously easy, such as Canis Minor, Coma Berenices, Equuleus, Leo Minor, Triangulum, and Vulpecula. The Triangulum constellation was very reminiscent of the Triangulum Arc in [i]Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor 2 Record Breaker[/i] (2015). In contrast, some constellations require more work, including Hercules, Orion, and Ursa Major.

I downloaded this game, Aurora Nights, as I'm interested in this topic, but it is not as good as the app on my phone. If you are seriously looking to learn the constellations, I think you can find a better learning game/resource than this. - but 99p for this game is nothing to cry about. I completed it in 24 minutes.
I paid just under £5 for a different constellation game on my phone and its very good! It is more thorough and is going to take me much much longer to complete as it has way more depth and hundreds of levels.

Кто-то скажет, что у меня слишком большие претензии к проекту за такую цену, но за последние лет десять появилось столько приложений, в том числе и интерактивных (и бесплатных), с информацией о звездном небе и прикольными гиммиками, что данный тайтл выглядит абсолютно бессмысленно.
Зачем оно тут предлагается к покупке?
Как искать созвездия на реальном небе - вам не скажут. Вам даже не уточнят, какие из них видимы в какое время года. Не подсвечены названия звезд, подсказки по ориентированию на реальном небе, хотя бы какие-то интересные факты или нюансы.
Ну и сам процесс абсуден донельзя. Жмакать на звездочки, потом сделать тоже самое, но с большим количеством звезд, которые, догадываюсь, не соответствуют реальным. Какой навык это дает пользователю, если он захочет воспользоваться знаниями из этой игры?..
Еще раз: дело не в том, что я требую многого - дело в том, что заявлено на странице игры. И в том, что аналогов у этой штуки хватает с лихвой. Я за развлекательные проекты с образовательным уклоном, но тут имело бы смысл выбрать либо другой подход, либо более интересную реализацию.

It starts off by teaching you the correct star formations, and then has 3 levels of difficulty in identifying the correct stars in a constellation formation vs fake stars put there to thwart you. Overall it's entertaining and you get to learn about stars.

За 35 уровней, которые нам предлагает пройти разработчик по 3 раза, чтобы закрыть игру на 100% (что я и сделал) игра не предлагает даже для чилла хоть какого то маленького, но интересного вызова. Сложность уровней варьируется лишь добовлением одной или двух звезд, и то, при нажатии на нужные звезды, лучи указывают интуитивно нам правильное направление, из-за чего чтобы допустить ошибку - надо быть мной, который часто делает все по фасту. Благо игра не дорогая - и на том спасибо.
Found this in my library and was wondering why I only played it a couple of minutes, but playing it again. There really is no challenge or gameplay to this game. You just click dots and the game even tells you which one to click on next. The encyclopedia is rather nice, but doesn't have a lot of information about the constellation in question. There aren't any basics regarding astronomy or stargazing either. If you want a game: This is not it. If you want to learn about the night sky: This isn't it either. Just get a book, a small guide on the night sky and just look at the stars. There sadly is no point in buying this even for €/$1.
It is about northern hemisphere stars only and the game doesn't have an update since 2016, despite many requests to include the Southern hemisphere as well. I should have checked more carefully about that before purchasing it, otherwise I wouldn't have considered getting it in my library. If you want to identify the constellations, Stellarium is a lot better.

Gotta be honest, among all the crap Valve allows to be on Steam, this one is a masterpiece. There is little gameplay, as well explained in the store page it is a short game where you can learn a thing or two. That's about that, easy achievements (hint - do the same constelations 3 times in a row as soon as you start the game for the final achievement). Looks good, great audio.

Skyrim skill interface in 2D, except that instead of increasing health, magicka or stamina you get some nice achievements. Plus, you get to learn a thing or two about the history and features of some of the most prominent constellations of the northern night sky. I like.

Ну не знаю. пустая игра какая-то. Просто кликаешь по звёздам, даже не обязательно соблюдать "порядок" созвездия. Не подсвечивается, что прошёл повторно, а что нет. Звуки и музыка бесплатные что-ли, я их не раз слышал в других играх. Лок на 35 фпс зачем-то. За бесплатно может быть и да, но блин я в интернете, могу почитать про созвездия и сами звёзды, больше чем в этой игре.
Well presented and easy to use, I would certainly encourage my grandchildren to play this game. It introduces very basic information about the constellations found in the night sky above the northern hemisphere. A simple game at a low price.
Aurora Nights is an 'educative' connect-the-dots game about constellations.
It is not bad by any means and I definitely am not a fan of astrology, constellations and what not. However, I can say that as a game by itself it is just not good at all. There's no in-game music, the sound effects of clicking on stars is annoying and everything is just so simple and bland. The map with all the constellation is bigger than your screen, you can't even see if you're completed the one in the top right. The 'educative' part of the game consists to have a description of each constellations in an encyclopedia.
To play without lines you would need to know constellations by heart and when you play with them, they are barely visible. This might also be one of the shortest games I've ever played on Steam: the final achievement requires you to finish each constellations 3 times and I clocked in 20 minutes on the game... this means the game is approximately 6 minutes long!
Overall, cheap at $1, uninteresting (at least for me) and extremely short (6 minutes long!)

35 constelações, o jogo consiste em ligar os pontos até acertar o caminho da constelação da imagem.
É um jogo bastante único e particular, raramente veremos alguém que joga e tem esse conhecimento.
Nada que um guia não lhe ajude para as 5 conquistas.... eu acabei só jogando farm das cartinhas...achei bastante diferenciada a ideia, porém pouco sei de estrelas.
Se sabe o que é, fecha olhos e vai..apenas R$1,75 em promocao

I absolutely love this game. Except that it does not resize itself in order to fit on the size of my laptop screen. What happens? Some of the stars are not accessible for me to click on when I am working on a constellation. This is very frustrating. But, if you have a bigger screen, I would imagine this would work. If anyone can figure out how to use this game on an average size screen of a laptop, please tell me! Overall, I do like this game, even if I'm unable to complete all the constellations.
As a kid, stargazing and stories about the constellations fascinated me. This was a relaxing little star-puzzle.

Он идеально передает ощущение бесконечной космической пустоты, где нет начала и конца, есть только вы, курсор и приятная, но навязчивая мелодия, вгоняющая в состояние легкого транса.

Иногда же ваш мозг начинает медленно закипать, когда вы в который раз не можете с трех попыток получить заветные три звезды за созвездие, название которого даже выговорить не можете . Это не просто «соединить звезды», это почти что духовная практика по обретению смирения и проверке на прочность вашей памяти. Вы боретесь не с игрой, вы боретесь с собственной забывчивостью. И победа над собой сладка, как... ну, как щелчок заполненной ячейки в энциклопедии игры.

Сюжет здесь настолько же глубок, насколько глубока космическая бездна. Атмосфера — это квинтэссенция уютного, почти домашнего безумия первооткрывателя . Здесь есть только вы, ваше упрямство и созвездие, которое так и норовит не собраться с трех попыток. И знаете что? Иногда такого чистого, честного вызова самому себе и своей памяти более чем достаточно.

Aurora Nights — звездное небо, карты, и быстрые достижения.
Кто из нас не заглядывался когда-нибудь на ночное звездное небо, с мыслью о том как велика наша вселенная и сколько в ней интересного? Есть однако люди, кто не просто смотрит на звезды, но и умеет находить на небе созвездия. Всегда таким завидовал. Ну что, попробуем натренировать сей скилл.
Перед нами простенькая, но приятная казуалка. Есть северное полушарие, разбитое на сегменты, на нем звезды. Задача — найти все звезды из созвездия в оном сегменте. Все просто, и приятно. Хотя для всех достижений надо будет собрать каждое созвездие минимум 3 раза, для 3 «звезд».
Полноценным учебным пособием это правда считать нельзя, ибо без знания ориентиров, и вообще куда смотреть, контуры созвездий помогут не сильно. Это даже не считая что тут все оказуалено, в том плане что и звезды висят фиксированно, и светимость одинаковая, и т.д. Тут правда надо отдать разрабу должное, он отсылает нас на астронет, сайт который как раз посвящен астрономии, в том числе любительской.
Как итог: вот что странно, купил игру я давно, но добрался до неё только сейчас, когда уже сам разработчик её изъял из продажи. Зачем изъял? Неясно. Тем более что по сравнению с кучей жуткого трэша что ныне торчит в Стиме, это вполне себе приятная игрушка. Такие дела.

Очень атмосферная музыка в главном меню. В этой игре можно научиться определять созвездия, но нужно много практики, чтобы научиться этому в реальном мире. Есть описания, мифы к этим созвездиям. Рекомендую.

Спокойная игрушка с довольно приятной музыкой. Рекомендуется лишь для тех, кто только хочет начать познавать мир звёздного неба. Так как созвездий тут не так много, и они изображены с некоторыми условностями. Поэтому нет нужды делать ставку на реализм. Эта игра рассчитана на то, чтобы позволить подарить один часик полного расслабления.

Конечно, игра проходится очень быстро (я за 59 минут справился со всеми созвездиями, прошёл каждое на три звезды, за всю игру совершил только три ошибки,и прочитал данные из энциклопедии), но чёрт побери, она хороша. Мне очень жаль, что не все созвездия в ней присутствуют, но, полагаю, не ко всем из них прилагается интересная история... хотя, если вдруг будут дополнения со всеми остальными созвездиями, я буду только рад <3

很遗憾现在steam已经不提供购买了，虽然我也忘了何时购得的该游戏。1分钟就能了解玩法，纯粹的点点点，主要内容20分钟刷完。开星座+3星一共是刷4次。难度每次上升会多一颗错误的星星。点错就重来。全屏可能导致边角显示不全。实质上是买bgm送游戏。睡眠休闲向。刷全3星成就比较难，因为你很难记住有那些星座还没刷到，它也没有特殊标记~就酱。
И вы конечно же понятия не имеете, что такое астрариумы и в жизни не видели Dragon Age: Inquisition?
Конечно. Верю. Меня просто расположение созвездия Лисичка не устраивает. Да, кстати... где же оно?
Соглашусь с теми игроками, кто дизанул этот проект: задумка обучения поиску созвездий - просто огонь! Я всегда мечтала этому научиться! Но реализация - на нуле: думать вообще не надо - просто тыкайте по самым ярким звездам и следуйте по лучикам - и все. Как создатели думают, это должно чему-то обучать - не ясно. Звезды - одинаковой яркости, расположены, как говорят, не под тем углом к горизонту. Нет никаких лайфхаков как их запоминать, как находить отправные точки, нет последовательности, нет названий основных звезд для запоминания, нет даже перевода созвездий на русский язык! Игра пустая.

Short game, fun while it lasts, slightly educational, but repeating the same line puzzles can become repetitive. Cheap game if you want to add something nice to your library with leftover money during a sale.
I guess it doesn't matter as the game is no longer available on Steam but I'll give my opinion anyway.

- interesting information explaining the history of the constellations

I wouldn't really call this a game. It uses gamification in an attempt to make an educational lesson more engaging through simple achievements and cards. It absolutely achieves its primary purpose: to familiarize the user with star constellations and provide a little information about each one.
It looks nice in all its simplicity and will probably appeal to anyone who likes looking at the stars. It explores a nice amount of constellations (35 in total), most of which the average user probably won't be familiar with.
I thought going through each constellation the first time was engaging. The repeat visits offer no added difficulty. It basically holds your hand through a game of connect-the-dots that doesn't have very many dots (as few as 2). The "game" basically uses repetition to commit images to memory, providing achievements as a reason for some users to keep going! I think repetition is fine for learning, and it is great to see something educational/reference on Steam.
It is relaxing and simplistic, but in the end I wouldn't really call it a game.

Wenn du dich allerdings für Sternbilder Interessierst aber keinen Plan hast, gibt dir Aurora Nights recht gute Infos - so hatte ich doch das ein oder andere mal einen AHA Effekt. Die Zeit in diesem Spiel ist allerdings recht kurz gewesen, den hast du alle 35 Sternenbilder 3x durch, wars das auch schon.
Solltest du aber Interesse an Sternenbildern haben - lohnt es sich reinzuschauen :D
I really don't know what to say about this. It's not a game, it's just dot-clicking. I guess if you turned the lines off you could possibly learn a bit about astronomy, but by and large, it's just dot clicking.
The single music track is ambient, but you're basically just clicking dots and joining the lines up.
As a game: Not really very good.
As a teaching aid: Not really very good either.
As a star map reference: There are much better resources out there, e.g. Redshift...
As a chilled experience of just dot clicking... mmm.. pretty good, I guess....
It was pretty cheap, under £1... but I'm not really sure I can recommend it, although it's nice for what it is, it doesn't really deliver on any kind of level... Sorry...

Personally, in my opinion, the game is very exciting and informative and even interested me ....... Even I learned a lot of interesting things here, and I really believe that astronomy should be used both in schools and universities, and even for a child who does not even go to kindergarten, it does not hurt..... Because it's a good start for a child's brain development ....

Simply an educational game of astronomy. For sure the easiest and funniest way of learning to recognize different constellations. What I especially enjoyed was the information regarding history aswell, for I didn't know constellations had such old and meaningful backgrounds. I recommend it for people interested in the subject :)

This 'game' is an example of a pretty trivial application on par with a student final project for a semester of newbie programming. There is nothing here that couldn't be done in a more interesting way, and there is no intellectual rigor as far as sources cited for factual statements nor is the topic covered in adequate depth. In addition, the content is poorly proofread. If anything, this is an early alpha release of an educational game that is in so many ways not ready for prime time. I hope the author invests time in improving so he can pick something more relevant as he obviously has skills and knowledge.

睡觉之前适合玩，主界面音乐和点星星时候的bgm都挺舒服。
美中不足：
1.整个星座图的那个页面看不全，出界面的部分看不见
2.进入点星星外面bgm就没了，一直进出的时候音乐有一段没一段的，关掉声音之后又是真的所有声音都没了。。
3.不知道是不是我电脑的问题？开全屏比窗口要少一圈界面，还是感觉不太舒服吧。
最后，没中文，所以连好了我也不知道到底是什么星座（当然也是我个人不懂的问题

Вполне сойдёт как интерактивное пособие для самого первого знакомства детей с формами созвездий и базовыми мифами о них. Карта созвездий серьёзно обрезана по краям — главный минус.

Encyclopedia section is not impressive at all. It doesnt provide many facts, it is more focused on mythology, where I would rather prefer some scientific facts. Constellations are only here so you can see their shape, but there is no explanation how to find them in real life, for example, what is the main star of every constellation from where we should start searching.
I liked what they done with Big and Small Dipper , you get 2 achievements for it, it also could have been done for other constellations. Music is chill, but it get borring over time. Animations are solid.
In the end, for this price its absolutely worth it, but it could have been much more!

that game helps you identify constellations, and find their location onto the sky dome. you have a 1st run where you can't miss. it will help you know how each constellation looks like. then once you did all the sky dome, you have another round, more difficult as it will include fake stars, put around to fool you. so it's at the same time, an educational, and a puzzle game. a simple, , intelligent and, creative game

1 虽然成就全拿，除了北斗七星我还是一个都没记住。。。。
2 住在城里根本没有实践知识的机会。。。。
