The game follows a fictional storyline where you find yourself in the quarantine zone five years after the event. Everything has changed in that time, and you find yourself in a very different Britain, on the wrong side of the quarantine wall. The area is run by the military and beset with factions, in-fighting, and a growing sense of fear. It’s up you to unravel the mystery of what happened. Explore the countryside, villages, and settlements and meet odd people, wicked cults, rogue government agencies and others along the way.

That game felt weird.
There's nothing particulary wrong, it's just the feeling of "hey, I've seen that one before" - it seems to be a blend of Stalker and Fallout, but without Fallouts' looney humor and without Stalkers' dark atmosphere.
But let's get to the good part.
It's beautiful. Not "photorealistic beatiful", just "beatiful", but it works. The voiceover acting is just perfect and the subtitles like "gaol" instead of "jail" are right on spot. The story is good. Not a masterpiece, but good. The overall retrofuturistic design looks just fine.
But there are some things that are... odd.
Trading makes no sense at all. Literally everything you can buy could be found and the exchange rates are kinda odd, this game lacks currency. Crafting weapons feels like Minecraft and not in a good way. Enemy AI feels dumber than it should be, but they can shoot you across half of the map. And the endings... They don't feel like anything changes at all. Several outcomes with several more bells and wistles. But the process is totally worth it.
Also that's the the first game where I felt like every story NPC around me is a shady t%at with an ulterior motive. Quite an experience.
I think this game could be something a lot bigger and better, but it's good the way it is.
PS: I was soiling my pants every time I went through the hallway to central processor. That I can't forgive,

Really good story and excellent gameplay. Love how most things are optional and didn’t feel compelled to compete every single quest line but you’ll quite often stumble upon different parts of quests as you play anyway. Shane they didn’t use more of the mechanics from sniper elite since the stealth is a bit janky. But honestly the art style and story are just stellar.

Bugs left mostly unsolved. Game was obviously rushed out of the door - most notably with UI design, enemy AI and constant immersion breaking re-spawning. It's such a shame cause game could have gotten traction and critical appeal, but they cashed out on lack of polish.

I finished the main story except for leaving the quarantine zone. Then, I circled back to play the DLC only to find that I am locked out of it now that I have progressed this far. In the process of struggling to figure out why I couldn't open a DLC gate, all of my auto and manual saves were overwritten. I'm now completely locked out of the DLC story line. This sucks.

This game is a Fallout like that is more action oriented with very light RPG elements, and that's perfect.

Most enemies require one shot to the head to drop, as opposed to the former where you need to empty a couple of magz, spongy enemies are never fun.

The environments are beautiful and interesting enough, with varied landscapes, some of which reminded me of Metro Exodus. The game is very well optimized for how good it looks, kudos to the devs.

The story was interesting enough, not too heavy and overwhelming, I appreciated the notes and documents that added context and background throughout my journey, the only other games where I bothered paying attention to these things were Control and Prey.

The quests were interesting enough and never felt tedious, what's even better is that the maps aren't littered with useless junk to collect or points of interests that had no substance.

This is a game that respects your time and doesn't overstay its welcome, highly recommended.

독특한 맛. 많은 것이 없지만, 그래서 긴장감이 끝까지 유지됐던 거 같음. 덜어낼 수 있는 건 죄다 덜어내서 정말 작게 압축되어 있는 게임 시스템을 씹어 먹었더니, 입 안에서 진한 맛이 우러나오는 것 같은 경험이었다.

그래도 진행을 종일 뚜벅뚜벅 걸어다니며 해야 했던 걸 감안하면 DLC지역 스토리는 그 지역 내에서 엔딩으로 이어지게 했으면 더 쾌적하지 않았나... 하는 불평 정도는 하고 싶음.

전투 말 많아서 걱정했지만, 생각보다 괜찮았다. 역시 인터넷 평가는 반신반의가 맞아. 다만 그게 무슨 말이었는지는 알 거 같았던 게, 타격음이 막 무기의 질감에 맞게 난다기보단 적이 맞았는가, 안 맞았는가, 맞고 죽었는가의 셋으로 압축되어 있어서 자연스러운 소리라기보단 시인성에 집중한 느낌이었음. 뼈 부러지는 소리가 통쾌했음.

그리고 게임 외적으로 느낀 거 하나. 오픈월드라고 해서 로딩 없이 모든 맵이 한 덩어리로 이어져 있는 건 분명 멋진 일이지만, 그걸 댓가로 최적화가 박살날 바엔 이거처럼 지역별 로딩하던 시절로 돌아가는 게 맞는 거 같아.

-Вариативность, как самого геймплея (стелс или раш), так и сюжета (несколько главных персов, сам выбираешь с кем кентуешься)
-Визуал отпад
-Стрелять, бегать, исследовать приятно. Зачистил все локации за 16ч.
-Сюжет довольно интересный и подаётся необычно, но жалко не рассказали какую то предысторию ГГ

Из недостатков
-Не докрутили стелс. Сюда напрашиваются какие то базовые инструменты, по типу кинуть чёт чтоб отвлечь, этого прям не хватает
-Слабая рукопашка, просто закликиваешь

Играйте только на хард или на самой последнй сложности, так будет намного интереснее
По началу играл на харде, потом подкрутил врагов, ресов сыпят много, даже на самом высоком уровне

Good game. Fallout meets Call of Duty meets Half Life.

Nice setting, good amount of story, large / long enough of a game (I play with trainers, so 11 hours is a lot). Graphics look pretty good, and love the HDR support.

Alternative endings not really worth it to replay.

Would recommend game for 40 euro's or less.

- Quand à un endroit, il y a un accès que vous n'arrivez pas à ouvrir, notez impérativement la zone et la partie non ouverte, afin de ne pas oublier d'y revenir plus tard.
- Ne foncez pas dans le tas, surtout au début : prendre l'ennemi par surprise, marcher à croupi pour ne pas se faire repérer est essentiel à certains endroits.
- Malgré certains ennemis qui vous "feront peur", apprenez à découvrir leurs faiblesses, et ensuite, ce sera très facile et fun !

- When at a place, there is an access that you are unable to open, imperatively note the area and the unopened part, in order not to forget to come back to it later.
- Do not rush into the pile, especially at the beginning: catching the enemy by surprise, walking on the nose to avoid being spotted is essential in some places.
- Despite some enemies that "will scare you", learn to discover their weaknesses, and then it will be very easy and fun!

Skyrim-like feeling, fighting, looting and puzzling, Fallout atmosphere. Scarce ammo which requires you to be stealthy in certain situations but not too much that it becomes slow-paced(the tension is comfortably challenging), some bandage- and potion-crafting. To unlock certain doors or find certain items gave me a Half-Life feeling aswell.

There's not much I don't like. At a certain point I thought I had enough of going to the same place over and over again but it all makes it worthwile in the end. There are lot's of sidemissions aswell but I stuck to the main story as much as possible. Not sure if there's any particular thing to unlock that improves my game so sidemissions are more for the adventurous completionists if you ask me.

I will not recommend this. For a few reasons. Time played is low because I didn't want to surpass the refund time and I did lots of research after playing, so I saw story-content and other gameplay, which shares a similar experience to what I had.
The most blatant reason for my negativity being the lack of Quality-Control. Rebellion isn't new to the industry, they've been making games for over a decade, the problem is they've been making a singular game, for a decade.

The only things I can speak positively about this game, is the beauty, and the performance. Both of those are great. The problems however, it's buggy, Stealth is not functional (some claim it works, but they were literally tracking me through walls, or from way far away, even when I lowered the Stealth difficulty). The animations are absolutely horrible, crouch in first person I dare you, you turn into a torso, you can watch your legs vanish - that's not immersive. Combat is not engaging, again the animations don't help.

It feels like We Happy Few during EA, but worse. Rebellion has more than enough funding, and developers to make this game a better product, but this is what they gave, and it's not good. I will remind you, in Australian Dollars. It's $75. In my opinion, it's worth no more than $20 full price.

ok game. not mindblowing and not horrible, just in between.

the game's story is a bit like an open world exploration with lore/quests in-between rather than telling you every moment. some like it, some dont. not much substance with the characters either.

the gameplay is fairly decent, but trying to shoot guns with depth of field constantly messing with vision is distracting, and melee combat is not worth attempting because of how flawed it is.

the DLC's... ammo feels sparse on the wicked isle, and the staffell crag DLC is not part of the deluxe edition FYI.

trading feels like it couldve been better, even using the barter system to acquire gear is fine, but the traders almost never restock and the limited inventory means bringing junk to trade is a lot of back and forth between storage and trader (which takes time to walk back and forth constantly)

edit: the graphics and the mechanical performance is pretty good on my computer considering that most games dont run smoothly even with my OK hardware.

Одна из немногих игр за последние несколько лет, которую я прошёл от и до, и остался вполне доволен, тк сказать найден был скрытый гем хоть ожидания поначалу были довольно скромные.

В игре отличная стрельба, импакт, проработанное оружие, стрелять крайне приятно, сам арсенал скудный, но каждая единица ощущается великолепно.

Сюжет радует, особенно если играть на сложности выше "выживший", отключаются маркеры, нет подсказок, игра в принципе будто меняет жанр становясь гораздо более исследовательско ориентированной, бегаешь, ищешь подсказки, складываешь воедино, делаешь выводы, лучшая часть игры это именно что начало, тк как опасность для тебя представляют даже базовые болванчики, и как ни странно отсутствие информации, о том где ты, что ты, куда тебе идти, для чего, и чёрт возьми, что такое этот ваш OBERON?!.

Из минусов, всё стандартно, малое обилие противников что с успехом нивелируется приятностью их истребления, мало контента что частично нивелирует два сюжетных длс с новыми локациями, в целом, всего мало, хочется больше, а как по мне это и говорит о том что игра хорошая, с радостью перепройду её в третий раз, и куплю продолжение если оно когда-нибудь будет. Рекомендую.

This is an excellent, post-apocalyptic survival game which oozes flavors of Bioshock, Deadspace, Stalker, Fallout, Sons of the Forest and Half-life. Even given this, the game stands on its own merits for originality, story and smooth playability.

PROS:
Ultra immersive experience
Excellent gunplay, bowplay, melee, crafting
Unique skill development (No skill tree here!)
Excellent storyline
Superior voice acting and writing
First class background music

Cons: none

Note: This is NOT a run and gun type of game. Atomfall is a discovery centered, story driven game that requires thinking and planning ahead. Players that want to kill everything in their paths only waste their ammo and ruin their chance to discover what's really going on in the zone.

Another item of note: I am playing this game on a system that doesn't even meet the minimum system requirements, yet it plays smoothly and looks beautiful!

Conclusion: If you loved the other games I mentioned above, and like to take your time to explore and find hidden secrets in hostile environments, then you'll find Atomfall as good as a Cornish pastry with a cuppa tea!

Неплохая игра, хоть и чувствуется "некоторая" бюджетность, из-за чего игра довольно сильно камерная.
Но атмосфера, дизайн локаций, оружий действительно хорошо сделано.
Лично меня напрягал элемент метроидваний, что в некоторые моменты ну слишком много бектрекинга.
Так же система квестов интересно сделано, но в игре практически отсутствуют сайд-квесты, которые обычно в подобных играх мотивируют исследовать мир, здесь же из-за маленького инвентаря нет смысла исследовать какие то локации просто потому что, в локациях лежат крохи лута, которые не стоят потраченного времени.
Как гамзуха на 2-3 вечера за 70 процентов скидки очень даже неплохо.

Its a pretty good game story wise. Having to basically follow leads in one big investigation that feels tied together is great. It starts off pretty slow, but I feel that once you find a quest that intrigues you everything sorta falls into place until about the endgame. Exploration is pretty good. Not perfect but I think it was good enough that the lack of fast travel did not feel like a drawback, and it made me sorta plan out how to navigate the map to avoid running back and forth.

I will say, the endings that I got were pretty bad. The whole game builds to one big mystery that for some reason everyone is so tight lipped about, and the endings are just EXTREMELY anticlimactic and dont really answer a whole lot or give a ton of payoff. If you did not piece together everything by that point then youre not gonna get closure and you also wont really find out anything new. Its by far the worst part of the game in my opinion, and maybe the other endings are better (not sure if I will replay this in the future so Im only speaking on 2 of the ones i got) but I think its nonetheless a drawback. Still, I do think in this case the journey kinda makes up for it but I do think the story took a hit from this.

Combat wise, its pretty lackluster. Again, early on it doesnt feel super good, in fact I thought it was pretty bad. Its not an RPG in the way Fallout games are where you can carry a bunch of ammo, guns, and just blast through things. The game really wants you to pick your fights wisely, use everything you have and be careful with ammo. In the beginning it feels a little weird since imo the ui for inventory is pretty ♥♥♥♥, and having only 4 buttons to bind a weapon to when you can carry 4 big weapons, melee, pistols, and throwables is pretty ♥♥♥♥. If they make another game I really hope they give you more ways to quickly access things since opening inventory doesnt pause the game, so its a hastle to pick certain things on the go. I get why they did it, but its far too limiting in this which just made me stay away from those things until about midgame.

The combat does pick up in the midgame though. You get more skills, can carry more resources, make better weapons, get more used to it, and I think the game feels best here since in the endgame it kinda runs its course and becomes very easy. They do introduce a late game enemy that just felt ridicoulously tanky with NO REWARD for it. Im not sure if they intended them to be enemies youre supposed to move around, but 5+ shotguns shells to the face out of like 30 is absurd, so I just...ran past them. You can still die pretty easy but the enemy pathing/ai is very bad at times so, I had more issues with environmental threats than anything.

Now, the things that I REALLY hope they improve.
Anti Aliasing: I dont know why, but when I was playing the anti aliasing in this game is HORRIBLE. I messed with setting and never fixed it. The game isnt exactly a looker, but legit if you look at ANY view with foliage it looks terrible pixelated and fuzzy.

Depth of Field: In the year of 2025/2026 for some weird reason this game has NO WAY to turn Dept of Field off. In a game where youre supposed to sorta pick your fights, keep your eyes open, this game for some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ reason blurs EVERYTHING around your focus when you aim. Its frankly absurd and makes no sense in a game like this, please fix this in the next game.
Enemies: As i mentioned the enemy ai is pretty bad. They can see you in wacky scenarios, you can kill one of them in front of another and they either will pinpoint exactly where you are or sorta just say "dead body" and stand around for like 10 seconds before walking away. Or like toward the end of my game I came across a ton of enemies and I literally just....ran in front of their face without a single shot. In some cases you can kill an enemy and play it off like "who did that?" but in others someone like at the other side of the area is going to know it was just and gun you down .

Ui: The ui isnt as offensively bad as the previous issues. However, it can feel very annoying with some of the little things. For example, item names are on the bottom right but you can toggle tooltips for them, yet for some reason the tips are under your cursor when you hover over them instead of having both name and tips under the same box. Another example would be with the quest/journal ui. Theres pretty much only 1 filter which is for quests and leads vs quests, leads, journals, by recent. Despite their attempts at creating categories it all ends up jumbled when I decide to look back at something I found earlier. A little off topic too, but PLEASE add more keybinds.

Despite these issues I still recommend the game. Its not for everyone but if you are interested by story and the idea of investigating a giant mystery yourself then i think this game does deliver for the most part. If you like the idea of fallout mixed with stalker, this may scratch that itch. However, expect less RPG mechanics than a fallout game since its very different gameplay wise, and the choices in this game have a are more local, with only a handful having a "bigger" impact. There are a lot of drawbacks, but the game at its core is far from bad, mediocre at worst. Theres a LOT of potential for the sequel if they can address these issues, but I definitely understand the mixed reviews.

While I really wanted to like this game, it ultimately left me cold.. having just played the Last of Us, it felt like a cheap knock off althogh the story idea is good and the british flavour is welcome, It kinda feels like a game fron the 90s.. set in the 50s.. too much back tracking, too much grinding, complex ui and devoid of any interesting characters outside of a few humourous NPCs. 3 hours in.. I know. but life is short and Last of us 2 is the same price right now.

Right after the launch, I managed to get halfway through opening the Interchange. I got discouraged by the repetitiveness and the lack of any deeper narrative.

On my second attempt, I pushed through and finished the game, though I had several moments of doubt along the way. Unfortunately, the later stages of the game don't change much. The plot and story technically exist, but they are not engaging. The characters you encounter are just... there, acting as quest givers. I felt no connection to them whatsoever. For me, the ending was bland and oversimplified.

Regarding the mechanics: the inventory is frustratingly small. Ammo is so scarce that I spent most of the game using the first melee weapon I found.

I guess this just isn't the game for me. I definitely wouldn't call it a "British STALKER" or "Fallout."

This is a phenomenal game for people who like immersive sims, and the user-defined tags unfortunately don't do a good job reflecting that. The world building is good, the atmosphere is divine, and the story is engaging. The only real gripe I have is that the NPCs didn't get much in the way of character development as the story went on and the interactions felt a bit shallow. If you liked Prey (2016) you will probably like this too.

It's an okay fallout styled 7/10 game but not quite the same. It's a great building block if they decide to expand with a future game but it has it's issues. A bit repetative and backtracky, the Open World is just "Decorated" zones to explore and loot. The limited inventory was annoying with no way to expand the slots only amounts of materials. The "Perks" were a bit too simple though useful. The very tinkerable way you can adjust difficulty was nice. The "choices" and consiquences are not visible until the end of the game "Slides" style and the plot did feel a bit meh. The enemies were pretty simple and the combat wasn't great but i got used to it. I did like the heartrate system instead of stamina that was cool. All in all i enjoyed it because i'm a Fallout and STALKER fan and if you know those games you know what to expect.

An solid post apocalyptic title!

Many compare it to Fallout,I get why but als fell like its more like a METRO in Great Britain with nods towards the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. franchise whileit also has a ton of its own unique features and ideas in it.

Gameplay, gunplay and combat are very satisfying there is a decent amount of customization and playstyle variation, lots to explore &loot, the 50s UK setting is super immersive and the story is really enjoyable and ymsterious throughout the whole game.
My biggest gripe is that the not very british sunny weather never changes and there is no day/night cycle at all. But believe me the dark atmosphere of a post apocalyptic Zone is definetely still there, especially in its many underground areas.

All in all an absolutely solid - not too short and not too long - Zone adventure!

An enjoyable game, and the developers achieved their vision. Game often felt like a remix of HL1+2, Bioshock 1, if the focus was more on environments than on FPS gameplay. Which is pretty cool.

Game has some janky and antiquated elements, like a Fallout 3 experience. If you're used to or enjoy games from that era, then Atomfall should feel right at home to you.

Overall the game was fun to explore. The environments are so detailed and believable, like a Black Mesa come to life. Sometimes even creepy, but never jump-scary.

Только что закончил Atomfall — это было мощно! Выбрал по фану самую высокую сложность, но хардкора не ощутил. Если собирать все, что под руку попадается - проходится на одном дыхании. Облазил все уголки локаций, разработчики добавили пасхалки с разных сериалов и прочее. Тем не менее - места в инвентаре не много - для каждого предмета свой слот. Атмосфера скорее красочная, чем мрачная. Но ощущается, будто игра должна была выйти намного раньше, наряду с Fallout 4...

Atomfall — это одно большое разочарование.

Сюжет — максимально пресный. Игра делает вид (пытается), что рассказывает глубокую историю, но на деле это набор заезженных клише без нормального развития как персонажа, так и ключевых неписей и без единого по-настоящему сильного момента. Просто скучное брожение по карте.

Фракции картонно-карикатурные. Фанатики, злые военные, «таинственные» учёные — всё настолько шаблонно, что становится очень больно в это играть.

Открытый мир красивый, но пустой. Ну вот серьезно, мне за время путешествия от одного конца карты до другой встретилось всего 3 бомжа и все? Достаточно? Понятно что пост-ап, но это не дело. Неписи до боли тупорыле и неповоротливые. Встанет на лестнице перед тобой, в тюрьме например и все, гг

I don't watch promotional materials if I'm interested in stuff. If it catches my attention I'll just play it/watch it. I don't like letting others interpretations meddle with my own. So I enter every experience with no expectations good or bad. The one mistake I made here was assuming this was going to be like a Fallout England edition. Absolutely nothing like fallout. But a great game nonetheless. It's open world "figure it out" kind of game. You as the player are in the same position as the Main Character. We're both thrown into a world we know nothing about with no direction other than a strange voice on the phone. You spend your time hunting clues and deciding who to trust. The scarcity of ammunition is what makes this game a challenge when almost everything wants to kill you and being sneaky isn't your playstyle, but it added a welcome challenge.

Wonderful game! Feels like Doctor Who crossed with Stalker, although parts of Fallout are there. But mostly Doctor Who. The game has the most charismatic raiders I have ever met. more often then not, went I was about to enter combat they would actually talk me down and I would find myself avoiding combat not just because of resource limitations, but because they felt like real people just trying to survive in a bad situation. The exploration felt great, and the firearms look amazing. The combat is very dynamic. It also ran really well for how old my computer is. I also liked how the Operator sounded like Davros or a Dalek. 8/10 RPG.

Overall I enjoyed the game. I played on the default difficulty. The game ran well on my rig.

Pros:
- The story is good. I took my time exploring everything, and there is plenty of backstory to find.
- There are plenty of ethical and moral decisions to make.
- There are some plot twists, and plenty of outright deception.
- The game atmosphere and ambience are very good.
- The crafting system is well integrated into the game, and rewarded exploration.
- The map system is well done.
- The Journal system is well done.

Neutral:
- The combat was decent.
- There are nice variety of weapons, but there seems to be no practical difference between them.
- The inventory capacity limit was somewhat punishing.
- Skill points are spread liberally, but you must search for them.

Cons:
- The AI is dumber than a box of rocks.
- Swarms are way overdone.
- Respawns are overdone.
- There are no crafting improvement options for any weapon that is not a firearm. Keep that in mind before you spec melee or bows.
- Skill trees are hidden. You must find a manual to open the tree before you can put points in. At one point in the game I had over 30 skill points with nowhere to put them...

While I probably set myself up for failure, assuming this was just "British Fallout", that was also what a LOT of independent marketing implied. No biggie there, just not the itch I was looking to scratch.
Game seemed weirdly unbalanced, considering that, even with accessibility options utilized far beyond what I actually require in terms of adaptivity, I was still constantly getting my ass kicked. Not sure if that's due to DLC or not.
Game ran well- no stuttering issues, crashes, etc.
But absolutely not for me in terms of story, mechanics, or plain fun.

For a game touted as 'English Fallout' this was pretty disappointing.

I'm going to leave a negative review for the same reasons as many, and that is that for a game this good looking the gameplay itself was very bland. Nothing drew me in and there was very little in the way of engagement. The amount of running around made me not want to explore or more specifically I didn't want to take the time to return to areas I didn't have to because it just took too damn long. I probably missed a lot, but like I said, there was nothing interesting enough to make me want to engage with it (this is probably why I finished it in 10 hours, which is another disappointment). At no point did I feel compelled to do anything other than find the batteries and get the job done. The story is almost nonexistent and the game mechanics, which just felt clunky didn't make up for this in any way. All up the whole thing felt really uninspired.

TL;DR: The core gameplay is fine, but even at $25 (on sale) I don’t think it’s worth it; it should cost $10.

It starts off very promisingly, but just as quickly as it begins, the game reveals its flaws after a few hours. That’s why it’s a advantage that it’s not very long.

To summarize the biggest disadvantages:
- combat: it’s clunky, quite monotonous and unsatisfying
- quite quickly you lose the urge to explore - because what’s the point? Either there’ll be a building with absolutely nothing in it, or just the exact same items you already have in excess
- trading; it’s a nice idea that there are no coins, and you have to exchange your items for the traders’ items - the disadvantage is that there is no real need for it, and halfway through the game it probably doesn’t make much sense anymore; generally speaking, if they weren’t there, nothing would happen
- small inventory; even if I wanted to explore and could add something to my inventory, there probably wouldn’t be any space, and the pneumatic tubes don’t have much space either - plus, there aren’t enough of them in many places (I don’t think there’s any story-related justification for them either, but that’s just a minor detail)
- There’s no character progression; I don’t really understand why, to unlock skills, you have to go and find stimulants - which I’m sure I missed on more than one occasion - but another issue is that, by the time I finished the game, most of the skills were locked anyway, I couldn’t unlock them because I didn’t find what would unlock them; what’s more, the skills themselves are boring, imperceptible, and basically, how I felt at the start is exactly how it felt at the end of the game
- unclear endings; it’s nice that there are plenty of them, and it’s nice that you can even ignore their existence, but none of them really explain the whole situation - it’s literally as if there was a lack of will and ideas on how to wrap them up
- the enemies are just as annoying as in Far Cry 1; they respawn after you leave in most locations, and their patrol routines are artificial and confusing (mainly the bandits, as the others - like robots, soldiers or forest freaks - have more narrative justification)

On the plus side, the story is decent, it evolves interestingly, and there’s plenty of choice as to whose perspective you want to believe. Generally speaking, all the negatives can be overlooked, and I finished the game in 16 hours with relative enjoyment, though I didn’t really focus on excessive exploration, engaging in combat, or the need to fulfill all the tasks.
