No pude jugarlo porque no me dejó. Quizás se cayeron los servidores o se han cerrado. Es una lástima porque pensé que se podría jugar, pero estuve un buen rato tratando de acceder y simplemente se mantiene cargando; no pasaba de la pantalla inicial. Tal vez fue un buen juego en su tiempo, pero por ahora no puedo ni acceder a la pantalla inicial. No lo recomiendo.

En Abril del 2014 estrenó ArcheBlade, un MOBA gratuito (en pleno auge del género) a manos de Codebrush Games y que ya era accesible en 2012, dos años antes de su estreno oficial.
Debido a sus enfrentamientos tan directos comúnmente lo denominan como un juego de peleas en 3D; y no se equivocan del todo, la acción en ArcheBlade es tan inmediata que casi no pareciera ser un MOBA y el manejo de la cámara dista mucho del control cenital al que estos juegos acostumbran.
Estéticamente es fenomenal; se le notan los años, pero los modelos continúan siendo hermosos y las ilustraciones oficiales (Cuya mayoría hoy hay que buscarlas por Internet) son absurdamente preciosas. Mecánicamente no es muy complejo, el tutorial abarca las bases del personaje más sencillo del catálogo y, de ahí en más habrá para elegir entre 14 campeones de mayor o menor techo de habilidad y versatilidad. Kinesteticamente es muy cómodo y las animaciones son lo suficientemente vistosas como para acabar siendo gratificante.
Las partidas no se rigen por matchmaking, en su lugar entraremos a un servidor y arrancaremos a jugar con quien sea que esté allí dentro, tal y como ocurria en los juegos en línea de antaño.
Y si te interesa, tenés para elegir entre versus duales (1v1) a grupales (7v7) además de una selección de modos de juego bastante extensa (Deathmatch, Capture Point, Round Match y TDM) y 6 escenarios sin contar el área de entrenamiento (Under Siege, Nether Dale, Naga’s Pit, Steam Canal, Summer Island y The Bridge).
Hoy, a finales del 2025, el juego está fundamentalmente muerto. Ahora mismo hay 10 servidores activos pero ni un sólo jugador en ellos, tuve que jugar con un amigo para tan siquiera volver a experimentar algo similar a cuando esto venía instalado en los PCs del cyber más popular de mi ciudad.
Codebrush Games lanzó un comunicado hace unos años anunciando que cederán el mantenimiento y las actualizaciones para ArcheBlade por no ser rentable (Considerando que se trata de un equipo independiente), no obstante conservaron el juego en Steam y hoy por hoy cualquiera con las suficientes ganas puede abrir su propio servidor por medio de un ejecutable disponible junto a los archivos del juego. Esto es digno de admirar, muchas otras empresas deberían hacer lo mismo en pos de la preservación del medio.
Hay un grupo en Steam llamado ‘[url=https://steamcommunity.com/groups/Archeblade2]ArcheBlade 2[/url]' que hace un excelente trabajo en compilar mapas comunitarios y mods; es evidente que acá hubo una comunidad muy apasionada y no cuesta entender el motivo, ArcheBlade es bello visualmente y cómodo jugablemente.
Es importante destacar que al entrar por primera vez el juego va a quedar pausado en ‘Connecting‘, es un error común y se soluciona fácilmente, tan sólo hayu que seguir los pasos disponibles en archeblade.net/apifix, véase colocar en Steam el parámetro de lanzamiento ‘[b]-exec=../boot[/b]‘ (Sin las comillas) y descargar un archivo llamado ‘boot‘ (Disponible en el sitio previamente nombrado) para luego colocarlo en el directorio de instalación del juego.
[b]¿En conclusión?[/b] Un excelente título competitivo que amerita revisitar de vez en cuando.

Someone left a scathing review on this game 10yrs ago & obliterated the devs ego, who then abandoned the game forever. Hackers tried to bring it to life, then other hackers destroyed it for good. Game could've been good, great even, but it was the wrong place at the wrong time.
Only a matter of time before some cunning devvo swipes this lost gem & refine the concept.

Archeblade é um daqueles jogos que deixam uma mistura de nostalgia e tristeza. Apesar de abandonado, ele ainda possui uma essência que o torna especial, principalmente para quem busca uma experiência hack-and-slash multiplayer focada no combate corpo a corpo. É um título que, mesmo com mecânicas datadas e poucos personagens, oferece algo diferente da saturação atual de MOBAs e battle royales. Infelizmente, Archeblade é um exemplo do que acontece quando ideias promissoras não recebem suporte contínuo. O abandono do jogo reflete uma falta de visão em um gênero que nunca conseguiu um nome definitivo, mas que claramente tinha um público apaixonado. Nota final: ★★★☆☆

Странно, но даже когда в эту игру никто не играет(мультиплеерный файтинг), удалось поиграть с ботами. Мне понравилось, т. к. множество(мало) разных персонажей с разными способностями дерутся как между собой, так и с ботами (железными мусорками). Графика конечно не ягодка, но что вы хотели от игры 2014 года.
НУ ОНА ЖЕ ЕЩЁ И БЕСПЛАТНАЯ. И там есть горячие персонажи-девочки. Воот

Ich weis noch dass das Spiel damals echt Spaß gemacht hat. Mit einem Fix kann man es auch starten. Die Server gibt es noch, nur spiel halt niemand mehr sehr schade, das Game wurde echt mal viel gespielt
