Join Alba as she visits her grandparents on a Mediterranean island. She is ready for a peaceful summer of wildlife exploration with her friend Ines, but when she sees an animal in danger, she realises she needs to do something about it. This is truly a Mediterranean paradise if you ignore all the litter! From the idyllic beaches to the ancient castle overlooking the town a whole island is ready to be explored. um joguinho relaxante de andar por aí, tirar foto de pássaros, limpar a cidade e ajudar o meio ambiente :) a história é bonitinha e tem uma mensagem bem clara de cuidar da natureza, mas recomendo pegar esse jogo na promoção porque ele é até que bem curto - as conquistas [spoiler]são puramente da história, e coletar registros de todas as criaturas possíveis só te dá uma pequena recompensa, então não é obrigatório.[/spoiler]
no geral, arte adorável, personagens legais e objetivos simples, recomendo pra quem gosta desse tipo de jogo!

Omg this was such a sweet little game 😍🥹 it was very cute and cozy and super interesting with the wildfire. The graphics look really nice and I had a great time taking pictures of wild animals, cleaning the island etc etc. Don't expect it to be a long game. I finished it in less than 5h of gameplay. Then you still have a couple of side quests to finish and explore as you'd like but overall, really a great game to spend a day when you have nothing else to do 😁

Esse é um dos jogos mais fofos que já joguei! Conheci ele no canal do Tex e assisti a gameplay, mas como já faziam uns bons anos não lembrava de nada da história.
É um jogo extremamente divertido, ele ensina sobre a importância da preservação da natureza e dos animais através dos acontecimentos da ilha em que os avós da alba moram. O design e estilo de arte são LINDOS demais, perfeitos! Como se tivessem saído de um livro infantil.

an absolute gem of a game. got on sale for like $2 & it's worth full price! if you enjoy nature/bird watching or collecting an index of animals in games like pokemon or even wingspan, this is for you! it's a cute story of a young girl spending a week on an island with her grandparents where she tries to save the wildlife. thoroughly enjoyed my 5 hours of playtime. the art style is very cozy, the story is sweet & the characters/world are fleshed out very nicely. great for achievement hunters as well!

Alba est une bulle de douceur qui nous sensibilises sur la faune et la flore et l'écologie.
On suit la petite Alba qui a pour mission de photographier une liste d'animaux tout en subissant les choix questionnables de son maire.
L'île est magnifique, remplit d'habitants adorables, accompagné d'une ambiance musicale douce, nous sommes dans un cocon qu'on ne veut pas quitter.

Милая, не напрягающая игра на часика 3. Приятная графика и не нагруженное окружение, понравилось изучать локации. Искать животных сканируя на камеру прикольная задумка, но некоторые животные настолько маленькие (например речная крачка), что я так и не смогла найти их чтобы закрыть журнал на 100%.
[spoiler] И я так и не поняла, как сюжет от концовки с петицией перешел на пожар на острове, как будто не смогли придумать концовку. [/spoiler] Но все равно игра затянула.

通关了。从游戏上来说是比较休闲，我也没遇到什么bug。主角是个深色皮双马尾短裤小女孩让我购入了这款游戏，内容大部分是在拍鸟让我非常喜欢它，但是，吸引我玩到最后的其实是我很在意场景里有很多叫“家猫”的东西，我以为这也会是剧情的一部分，但是从头到尾从来没人在意过这个这么多鸟的家园里放养了这么多只猫……我不懂在场景里加上这些东西的用意。
还有一点就是一句台词，主角说“它不是森林之王，是森林女王”，我不清楚原本的台词是什么是不是翻译的锅反正这句台词非常莫名其妙非常诡异，本来能放松玩玩的一个小游戏给我整得很不爽。

This game is absolutely precious.

Very chill, easy, cozy game. You just run around taking pictures of different animals/birds and it's very easygoing, you don't even need to complete the collection for the 100%. All achievements are story-based and you don't have to worry about missing them, which is a relief!

It's just so, so dang cute and wholesome and I have to recommend it, especially as an easy 100%!

I finished this in one sitting and was hooked almost immediately. The moment you arrive on the sunny island with Alba, the whole game feels warm, peaceful, and incredibly relaxing.
The music is beautiful and fits the calm, nature-focused setting perfectly, and the sound effects really make the island feel alive. The dialogue is simple but charming, and every character is friendly.

If you're looking for a wholesome and relaxing game, this is definitely it. The Mediterranean environment is beautifully crafted – I enjoyed just running around aimlessly and got excited whenever I spotted familiar animals (which were also impressively life-like). Sehr schönes Spiel. Habe es für meinen Sohn in der zweiten Klasse besorgt. Neben dem sehr schönen und guten Inhalt, auch ein super Lesetraining da es relativ viel Text enthält :) und obwohl lesen nicht seine Lieblingsbeschäftigung ist hat er es komplett an wenigen Tagen durchgespielt, weil ihm die Story so gut gefallen hat. Er ca. 4h für die Story mit den meisten Nebenquest gebraucht.

A really charming and relaxing experience with a really positive message. Game's pretty short, but it works perfectly for what it is, sit down for a few hours just exploring the island and helping people around you.

The photography mechanic is simple but surprisingly fun to document the wildlife. You start paying attention to sounds and movements around you, since a lot of animals can actually be tracked by the noises they make.

The art style is very colorful and warm, and it fits the tone of the game really well. The island feels lively and peaceful at the same time, and the sound design helps a lot with that too. You hear birds, waves, animals moving around, and it really sells the idea that you’re just spending a quiet vacation somewhere nice.

Short, sweet, and completely charming.

This is a lovely game. It has a beautiful soundscape, with realistic environment and nature sounds and gorgeous evocative music. The low-poly graphical style is detailed enough and full of enough artistry to be compelling. The story is filled with wholesome childlike wonder, and this is reflected in the player character and laid-back gameplay. All in all it immerses you in a simple childhood world of such charm that you can't help but smile.

I've played the game through on console but wanted to try it on PC as well. My only criticism is the lack of an option to invert the mouse.

I bought this game because it was cheap and it intrigued me enough to purchase it. Little did I know that I would be very pleasantly surprised! It is a "small" game, I completed it in about 4 hours, however it is worth the gameplay! I found myself getting sucked into the surprisingly deep story about human impact on nature and enjoying the collector aspect of the game. I originally wasn't too excited about the art style (especially the people models) from the store page previews, but it grew on me and I wholeheartedly encourage everyone who loves nature to play this game.

Alba: A Wildlife Adventure, is absolutely worth it (on sale, $16.99 is a lot for the playtime of the game)

For about three hours of gameplay, you play as Alba, a child set on rescuing the wildlife and restoring the nature reserve on the island. You scan animals (mainly birds) as you... walk (there is no sprinting) around the island.

I highly enjoyed the story, and found myself captivated by the music, NPCs, and interactions within the island. If anything, I would wish two things for the game: an ability to sprint, as I found myself going back and forth along the entire island exploring and scanning animals. The second thing is that there is no reason to complete the animal scan collection once you finish the game, as there is no achievement in steam for it. You could just for fun if you'd like, but there is nothing in the story that encourages you to do so.

Lastly, I think it would have been a nice touch to maybe add facts about each animal as you scanned them, or in the journal that you could go back to. In the journal it includes the animal call, as well as the location and photos of the animal. I think a fact would also be nice!

祖父母の住む小島に来た主人公が１週間島の住民からのお使いをこなしたり島に生息する生き物(主に鳥)を助けつつスマホで撮影し図鑑を埋めていく。
真面目なテーマとは裏腹にゆるーい会話を繰り広げる住民と環境音の鳥の鳴き声に癒され、時間に追われることなくまったり動物(主に鳥)を観察できる。
実績は図鑑コンプ関係なくストーリーをクリアすると全解除できる。

▷気になる点
・カメラ操作感があまりよくなく地面や壁にめり込むことも多々あり３D酔いしやすい人は注意かも。
・そこそこ広いマップに対して主人公は走ることができない上に、場所によっては迂回しなければいけない場所もあり正直ちょっと面倒だなと思ってしまった。
・探索そこそこにストーリーだけ追うとちょっとボリューム不足かな。セール時に買うのがオススメです。

Cuando éramos niños el mundo se sentía diferente. El tiempo pasaba más despacio, los olores del campo eran más intensos y el sol picaba distinto en mi nariz. Las cigarras cantaban mucho más estridentes que ahora, y la tortilla de patatas estaba mucho más rica. Cada tarea se sentía una aventura y yo acababa los días agotada pero feliz.
Jugando a Alba he vuelto a sentirlo. La banda sonora, la iluminación, el poder ir a mi ritmo, el hecho de que no te saturen con misiones secundarias, el mimo en los detalles... Ha sido como volver a mi infancia durante tres horas y que la vida fuese más bonita otra vez.

Esto no es un juego; es una joyita. Es cortito (en una tarde lo acabas), precioso visualmente, entretenido y, sin duda, se siente como un lugar feliz donde descansar.
Ideal para niños, perfecto para adultos que disfruten de los cozy games. Educativo pero no como los cuadernillos de Vacaciones Santillana, que parecían juegos pero al final eran deberes. Alba es un juego con animalitos.
Especialmente divertido si eres español y reconoces los guiños y referencias a la terreta.

Ahora sólo quiero que saquen un DLC, una segunda parte o lo que sea, porque les doy mis dineros sin vacilar.

Alba: A Wildlife Adventure is a pretty good game. I especially liked the soundtrack and background noises. It wasn't a very long game, but I think it was the perfect length for the plot (<4 hours). You play as a kid, Alba, who is trying to get people to sign a petition to stop Big Capitalism™️ from building a hotel and destroying the nature reserve. You're also focusing on scanning all the local wildlife for documentation purposes.

You're able to take it at your own pace and the achievements are progress based, so you can't accidentally miss them.

Something I wish there was was a setting to change key binds. I personally didn't find it, but I am also not the best at noticing stuff, so there is a chance it was there. Just something to keep in mind.

Overall, I give it an 8/10. Would recommend.

Cute and cozy. It's a bit weird that you can already see 90% of the game on day 1. There's also not really a reason not to do it, so I mostly spent subsequent days backtracking for minor goals. In hindsight, I could have also just done everything on the last day, and saved myself a lot of back and forths. Also kind of buggy; the first time I played, the tutorial sequence didn't start properly and I got softlocked. When I restarted on a different save file, it didn't unlock the achievement for completing day 1 correctly. Other than that, pretty nice.

This was a really good game all around: filled with adventure, fun characters, a moving storyline, and wonderful music. A short game to run-through, but wholesome!

A very charming and inspiring walk-em-up.

I love the message and nuance this game takes when discussing human impact on nature. The people on the island of Secarra do seem like real people you would meet on such an island (maybe a bit too friendly, though)
The game's main mechanic of taking pictures is fairly engaging and documenting animals makes this game go into the direction of a collectathon, though it is not the main way to progress the story. Animations and soundscape are great as well, with animals making noises that you can hear to actually track them down.

I do have some problems with it, however. For one, while it is a walk-em-up (a term I use instead of the derogatory "walking sim") it would GREATLY benefit from a sprint feature. Currently, you can sneak to not scare animals and run. And with how much back-tracking you end up doing, it can be a slog to walk around the island. I am gald the devs did not implement fast travel as traversing the environment is a core selling point of the game which allows you to take in its soundscape and document animals. But man, was I bored walking to a place to repair one thing or document one animal I had missed.

Additionally, I feel that, after scanning 75 % of animals, undocumented ones should have some shimmer or other signifier that I have yet to document them. Some animals do look the same and it can be a slog to walk to an animal, take out the samera and then realize, no, you already document that animal.

I would have also liked more mammals or reptiles to document, but that is nit-picking at this point.

You get all achievements during story progression, [spoiler]which is a bit of a shame as tracking all animals should at least have some reward[/spoiler]

For full price, I believe this game is asking a bit much given you get about 3h of gameplay from it. Definitely get it on sale, however, as it regularly is reduced by 90 %. And it seems trees are platned for every download, and I can image the devs giving some of the profit to charity.

Get this if you are open to more of laid-back nature walk-em-up. If that description turns you off, that is fine. This game is not necessarily for everyone, but its message certainly is.

鳥の囀りや虫の声、波の音なんかを聞きながら自由に島を駆け回れるゲーム
やることリスト？そんなん知るか私は野生動物と戯れたいんだああああ！！！
ってひたすらバードウォッチングしたり、うさぎさんを眺め回したりしてても無問題！
気が向いたらタスクをこなしてストーリーを進めてもよし、自然の音に耳を傾けながらのんびりするも良し…
仕事に疲れた時や鬱ゲーで心が病みそうな時に挟むと心機一転頑張れそうな、癒したっぷりの素敵なゲームでした
本編自体はサクッとクリアできるボリューム・本編クリアで全実績解除・図鑑などはクリア後にのんびり回収できるところもGOOD
鳥の声や仕草にめちゃくちゃ力を入れている印象なので、鳥好きさんにもオススメです～！

很棒的小品遊戲。
聽BGM中各種動物的叫聲找到他們並拍照掃描，協助清理島上環境，寓教於樂的環保遊戲。
順著主線走完故事就可以全成就，蒐集類以及支線任務都不影響成就，很親民。
容易3D暈的人要注意休息，我自己玩到一半稍微有點暈。

There's something magical in the whimsy yet very anchored angle in which Alba: A Wildlife Adventure has tackled seeing the world from the eyes of a child. We control Alba, who's visiting her grandparents on a Mediterranean island that has seen better days. There's too much litter, too little birds and, on top of that, some rich guy has convinced the mayor of building a giant super hotel in the middle of it.

The contamination and deforestation had pushed most of the local fauna away, but Alba and her friends decide that they're not going to be discouraged from bringing some life back into the place. For all of its idealistic ways of handling not only the main ecological issue but also conflict between characters, Alba: AWA never speaks down to either Alba or the player. This is a family game, but it treats the younger crowd with respect. As simplified as the topics are, the consequences are not sugarcoated.

Not only that, but the ending sequence was bone chilling, actually.

The emotional delivery is influenced by the amazingly detailed animations and sound effects that the team has given the animals. No two species have the same chirp or gargle, much less the same walk and flight patterns. Mammals don't stay too far behind either, regarding their bespoke everything. Reduced in numbers, yes, not in detail.

Restoring the natural reserve (and pretty much the rest of the island) will require Alba to take pictures of all the animals, mainly, and finally, _finally_ we have a photography game that feels like a photography game. Mostly. It's very forgiving, but to find the animals, you'll have your trusty guide to know which biomes they reside in and what they sound like, and the experience that the game successfully emulates is nothing short of glorious. I felt both rewarded and elated every time I found a bird by listening to its particular song.

I read The old man and the sea shortly after finishing my time with Alba, and what a coupling those two are. As painfully realistic as one can be, and as fantastically idealistic as the other is, both do teach that _it_ is worth the effort, whatever _it_ might be for you. Alas, my time with the game and Alba's vacation are both done, and I'm left with the bittersweet warmth of accepting that I can't do it all over again for the first time.

But I can go out and take pictures of birds, plant a tree and do my part each and every day.

Gorgeous game, gorgeous message.

小さな島・小さな町を駆け回りながら野鳥を探しつつ環境保護にいろいろ貢献するゲームです。
鳥の鳴き声で位置を特定しなければならないこともあって、全編BGMは控えめ。
というか、イベントシーン以外は環境音と鳥の鳴き声しかありません。
デフォルメしたデザインの野鳥や動物はちょいぬいぐるみチック。刺さる人には刺さるデザインです。

半面、派手な戦闘やイベントはないので、劇的な感動とか爽快感を求める人には向いてないかも？
