Государство прописано до самых мелких деталей, мы можем узнать её взаимоотношения с другими государствами, политический строй, религию, архитектуру городов, историю войн и этот список может идти ещё долго. Такой ворлдбилдинг можно сравнить разве что со Средиземьем Толкина где можно узнать множество о происходящем в мире вне истории главных героев, что я и сделал.

В этом увлекательном приключении рассказывается про Эстель Брайт и её приёмного брата Джошуа. Их главная мечта стать великими брасерами как их отец.
По пути к этой цели они пройдут половину страны, познакомятся с разнообразными людьми и помогут им. А так же преуспеют в раскрытии дел и решении проблем выстроенные злодеями.

Для меня это первая jrpg и поэтому мои ожидания не были завышены. И это было замечательно. История была потрясающая прописана, я смог испытать весь спектр эмоций от грусти и злости до смеха и радости. В полное удивление меня ввела концовка. От её накала и сюжетных поворотов сердце может ойкнуть в груди. Из-за чего пролог выглядит так обманчиво добро и мирно, что хочется остаться в нем навсегда. Так же помимо сюжета мне понравились виды: моря, гор и городов - да, даже не смотря на то что ей более 20 лет, виды в ней прекрасный от чего полагаю что в ремастере они выглядят ещё краше. Не могу не сказать про систему сражений - она здесь пошаговая, что лично мне нравиться. Она здесь достаточно легкая, в ней разберётся даже ребенок. У каждого героя есть свои статы. По мимо стандартных оружие и броня есть настраиваемый под себя стиль - орбенты. С помощью их можно увеличить здоровье, уменьшить расход маны, усилить оружие и добавлять виды магии, что добавляет разнообразия. Так же не могу не уделить внимания и музыке в этой чудесной игре, скажу прямо эта музыка превосходная. Каждый саунтрек идеально подходить под ситуацию происходящею на экране. И за это нужно сказать Спасибо композиторам.
Подводя итог мне жаль что я не могу выразить все чувства, из-за не желания спойлерить сюжет. Да и в целом подвести итог такой игре сложно...

this game feels like it drags on and on and on but it reminds me of how critical muv luv extra is to the rest of game. it was very difficult for me to sit through all of the dragging. i hate the concept of 'payoff' in long games, but this game definitely pays off by the end.
What a game.
I heard about this series only recently, and after hearing some basic selling points like:
- "Every game is a continues an interconnected storyline that builds on the same world"
- "You meet characters from prior games that are now background or important characters in later games"
- "It's the One Piece/LOTR/Frieren of JRPGs"
- "Some of the best worldbuilding in gaming"
- "The Fr*nch are the baddies!"
I couldn't pass up on it. That's everything I wanted.
And it delivered masterfully.
An absolutely beautiful, cozy, and grounded story experience about two kids growing and finding their place in the world, and trying to build relationships between each other and those around them that they meet along their journey. It's human, hopeful, and full of heart. A great way to kickoff a new franchise, and kickstart my interest in it.
And I can't wait to play SC. In fact, I already bought it as soon as the credits finished rolling!
2026 might be the year of Trails for me.
Imagine getting cucked by a chest achievement
Trails in the Sky starts off like a lighthearted feel-good adventure of two youths who traverse their country in an attempt to become proper bracers (a sort of guild, focused on helping out people), but it quickly becomes a much bigger adventure. It does this while remaining well-written throughout. This is the older, original version of the game, great if you want to progressively experience how Trails gameplay has evolved as the years have gone by.
I highly recommend that you give the game an extended period of time to prove itself. There's a very good chance you will find yourself immediately diving into the second chapter (and subsequently, third) as soon as you complete this one.
Yes, the gameplay definitely feels dated, but with the SoraVoice Lite mod you can patch in voice acting from the Vita versions, which is highly recommended for a more immersive experience. Or, you know, you could just play the remake.
(I wanted to experience the gameplay mechanics as they evolve, and I wanted to be able to dive into the sequel right away, which currently isn't possible since Sky 2nd is slated to release later this year, and the wait would be... difficult. In retrospect, I am very happy I played this version. I am currently about done with the sequel, which I wanted to see the majority of before properly reviewing the first part of effectively Estelle & Joshua's duology.)

Концовку можно описать так, как если бы машина на последнем метре трассы сделала бы последовательно разворот на 360, самую натуральную сальтуху, а потом ещё и добила бы разворотом на 180. И при этом все четыре колеса остались бы на дороге. И машина осталась бы цела.
К слову эта метафизическая машина называется "сюжет". Для меня это первый опыт полноценного прохождения JRpg, может потому меня так концовка впечатлила, но ёперный театр это надо самому играть.
Только умножайте заранее длительность (около 40-45 часов) и цену раза так в три. Там ещё два сиквела есть.
И я скорее всего куплю оба. Ибо ♥♥♥♥, саске вернись в коноху ёпт.
Trails in the Sky es un JRPG con un sistema de combate táctico por turnos que funciona bien gracias a sus distintas opciones de ataque y a las formas de construir diferentes builds. Ofrece una exploración amplia con una estética propia, aunque en algunos aspectos se siente algo anticuado. Las misiones varían entre tareas simples y algunas pocas mejor elaboradas. La historia se toma su tiempo para desarrollarse, funcionando claramente como el prólogo de una saga más grande, algo que se nota sobre todo hacia el final, acompañado por un buen elenco de personajes y buena banda sonora. I 100 precented Trails in The sky FC and now I am nearly done with Trails in the Sky SC . Almost every issue I had with the story in the first game got resolved in the second because it served the purpose of very detailed world building and character development. By the end of chapter 6 I was blown away and all the memories of the first game made me appreciate it even more , Trails in The sky is a special cozy comfort JRPG about two kids against the world , it focuses on their relationship and takes its time immersing you in this charming world. I genuinely loved every second of it and when I saw that all of the side quests and NPCs I talked to MATTER in the second chapter I was blown away. I strongly recommend 100 precenting this game because there is heavy story telling and world building in its optional content .Overall it was an amazing game that stays strong even on Its own two legs but because it is a set up for a true masterpiece (Trails in the SKY SC) it becomes mandatory experience for any fan that wants to take on this special series Nihon Falcom created. I cannot wait to finish SC and give my overall thoughts but I was truly impressed , I recommend Trails in The Sky FC to every JRPG fan that does not mind a cozy slow burn that will ABSOLUTLEY PAY OFF in the next game. My first score was 8 out of 10 but seeing all of the plot threads it created I must raise it to a solid 9 out of 10 , truly charming and special experience.

Trails in the Sky FC's writing, humor, and scenarios eclipse most other JRPGs. I've never felt such a strong connection to a cast while playing a game. Every character, including side characters, is well-developed with a logical history. Strong characterization is buoyed by a send of place unrivaled in games. Liberl, and Zimeria as a whole, are developed similarly to Tolkien's middle earth. Our story as players is just the latest in a lengthy mythos; a window into a moving world.
I'm stoked to play SC onwards. I am grateful to have discovered this game.
The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky is a charming JRPG with fantastic story, interesting characters and wonderful music. The best part is that the world has rich history and the plot has some fun twists and turns. Characters have rich history too. Even the NPCs all have names! It is madness!
There are a few issues though. I had to play the DirectX 8 version in windowed mode. Otherwise the game would keep crashing or not start at all. And while the combat is serviceable, it is nothing special. At least it is possible to fast forward the battle animations, migitating most frustrations.
Despite the issues, playing through the game was super engaging. Can't wait to play the rest of the games in the series. It will probably take decades though. 4/5

The story of Estelle and Joshua is heartwarming and deeply engaging, featuring some of the best-written dialogue in the genre. Bilanciamento a difficoltà massima discutibile, si ha in generale la sensazione di combattere in tunica di cotone con un bastoncino e uno scudo di legno.

Hey friend! Heard about this series and decided to check it out? Trying to determine if you should play this game? Well, first off if you're anything like me and always dreamed that the Final Fantasy games should all correlate and connect in some way, well lemme tell you this is the series for you. Currently 13 mainline entries in the series that all take place in the same world, same time frame, and all eventually come around full circle to fill in any missing pieces of the puzzle this series is sure to throw at you. Now you're sitting there debating if you should start here or just start with the much flashier arc that has better graphics and voice acting. I mean everyone on Reddit says its fine to start with the Cold Steel arc right? Hell ChatGPT even says you can start with Trails from Daybreak if you want (You're not loved if you do that). "You aren't missing much", right? Well let me do you a favor and clear up any uncertainties you may have. Don't even think twice about it, PLAY THE ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ SKY ARC FIRST. Yeah I get it, it's a little slow at first....okay maybe through a good portion of the first half, but jesus christ we have to start somewhere. I mean if you aren't a lore nerd, what are you even looking to play JRPG's for anyways? Nevermind I answered my own question while typing that, you lil freak. But seriously, there is a lot to unpack here in the land of Zemuria (37 regions and we've only seen 6-7 so far), so understand that the first game is more of a setup for character development and feeding you lore about the world without you wanting to gouge your eyes out through a 5 hour lecture. And if you're being a little baby back ♥♥♥♥♥, crying about the 2D sprites and graphics, go play the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ remake. The first remake is already out, the second one is scheduled with trailers already, and with how fast Falcom has been cranking these games out, I'm sure the 3rd will be out before the end of the year. Everything about this series is worth the money and the time invested into it. The art style is great, the story is absolutely phenomenal, the combat system is that exact nostalgic RPG system we all love and crave out of newer games with it's own twist to keep it new and refreshing. All of the characters in this series have unique and quirky personalities and traits that help you better connect with and understand the character, whether "good" or "evil". I've lost count at how many scenes I've teared up at or how many times I've bounced up and down in my chair like a giddy little 12 year old getting their first nuke in Call of Duty (do they even call it a nuke anymore? ♥♥♥♥ I'm old). Seriously, if you like any of the Final Fantasy games (I will fight you if you come at me talking about you've only every played FF14) or any other similar JRPG (The Tales of games had me in a chokehold for a while), than I promise you that you will ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ love this series. The satisfaction of seeing characters you've grown attached to and love appear in the other arcs as you progress through the games, connecting the dots and watching plots come full circle, being mind blown by the new twist that's always waiting in the shadows for you, is a dopamine rush like no other. So go ahead, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ get on with it and play the Sky Trilogy first.... or I will ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ find you.
Oh and did I mention there's a built in Turbo Mode in every game if you wanna be fast as ♥♥♥♥ boiiiii?

In my playtime I missed most quests for 2 towns cause I genuinely did not find the correct time slot to do them. I also skipped some stuff in final dungeon.
Now i don't finish many games but I finished this one.
Muy buen juego JRPG, ya tiene sus años( le sacaron un remake recientemente) pero se sigue sosteniendo bien a día de hoy a nivel jugabilidad, historia, desarrollo de personajes y de mundo. la música es muy buena, el juego no es especialmente difícil si vas haciendo misiones secundarias y comprando/consiguiendo mejor equipamiento por lo que no hay que estresarse mucho con los jefes ni hay que grindear para avanzar, la única parte en la que hay que ir con más cuidado es en el primer capítulo por falta de hechizos y medios con los que lidiar con muchos combates consecutivos pero fuera de eso una experiencia muy casual.
Se puede saber solo jugándolo unas horas que este juego fue hecho con mucho cariño, estoy deseando jugar la segunda parte.
PD: Como no he jugado al remake no me atrevo a recomendar 100% la versión original por encima del remake pues no estoy seguro de si cambian cosas, se altera la experiencia o solo se mejora gráficamente para adaptarlo a un público más moderno.
En mi humilde opinión, si te gustan los JRPG y no te molesta el combate por turnos definitivamente deberías jugar este juego

Fini en une 30aine d'heure selon le jeu (j'ai usé et abusé de l'avance rapide)
En parlant d'avance rapide ce jeu possède 2 des meilleures fonctionnalités de JRPG : Le FFwd et le "retry offset" qui permettent de jouer à un VN si on le veut, et un JRPG/VN de très bonne facture qui plus est.
J'avoue les TRPG c'est pas forcément ma camme (sauf Valkyria Chronicles, ça s'est bien) mais on a pas besoin de réfléchir énormément aux combats, le bourrage, la fuite et le retry offset marchent très bien dans 99%des cas (juste 2 boss, l'oiseau du ch3 -ou 2?- et le boss final dans sa P1 demandent un peu de tactique). D'ailleurs j'ai fini le jeu avec Estelle et Joshua niveau 21, ce qui est très peu.
Si vous vous lancez, faites pas comme moi, allez-y d'abord à petites doses (j'en ai fait une indigestion et en 3jours autant qu'en 1mois).
Enfin bravo à l'équipe de la fantrad française (un peu ironique parce que je l'ai fait en anglais, mais l'avoir traduit pour l'amour de l'art force le respect)

Corre el año 2006, recién había adquirido una PSP, un regalo de un gran amigo, solo poseía un juego y era el FFVII Crisis Core, con hambre de probar mas juegos conocí muchas joyas de esta grandiosa maquina, varios años después por ahí en el 2011 o 2012 di con un juego llamado Ys SEVEN, el cual descubrí mas adelante que pertenecía a una gran compañía llamada NIHON FALCOM y de ahí en mi afán de probar mas juegos llegue al nombre de Legend of heroes Trails in the Sky, este juego en su momento me llamo muchísimo la atención porque tenia recien inyectado en mis venas la fiebre por Final Fantasy Tactics y algo en las fotos que vi me recordaron a ese juego pero la saga Ys estaba recien inyectada en mi y esa gano mi atención por muchos años, el tiempo paso y lo que fue el nombre de Trails in the Sky seguía presente en mi cabeza pero ya ocupaba un asiento muy atrás, hasta que en el 2025 vi el boom que la saga estaba agarrando pero para mi sorpresa la saga ya llevaba como 14 juegos, dude si adentrarme a esta saga ya con mis 38 años de vida era una buena idea pero le debía a mi yo de 18 años esa promesa, así que compre este juego y que excelente decisión, ESTE JUEGO ES MUY BUENO en la forma de contar la historia, de construir su mundo, se toma su tiempo, dedica horas a que comprendas la relación que tienen su duo protagonista (la escena de ellos en el lago mientras JOSHUA toca la armonica, hermosa), no tiene afanes para llevarte al punto donde ya dices, estoy dentro de este mundo y quiero saber mas, quede muy encantando con ese primer juego, no se como se desarrollara la historia de aquí en adelante pero si se que quiero estar ahí para descubrirlo.
Nejlepší hra jakou jsem kdy hrál. Je to klidné, ale zábavné, úžasná atmosféra a skvělé postavy. Příběh je taky skvělý, a i když mě boje někdy štvaly, pořád jsem si je strašně užil. Za mě 10/10.

Excellent story-focused JRPG with great world building and characterization. Good tactical combat and freedom of character building with the orbment system and accessories. Estelle is a delight, character interactions and growth are all well done, and the writing and localization work are all charming.

A phenomenal JRPG that has me kicking myself for waiting so long to finally play. A large delightful cast of characters, engaging story and absolutely cruel cliffhanger have me installing the sequel and excited to dive completely into the Trails series.
