A childhood classic. Absolute masterpiece. Bought the double pack to play with my friend, but he never plays with. There's always online fights and a large community. Of course I stick to the arcade fights because I'm still a noob, but hey, it's worth every cent.

This game is really for hardcore SNK and King of Fighters fans, specifically. If you're just casually looking to get started in fighting games or in the KoF series, this might be tough to get into, but also... if you love jumping into the deep end of the pool and having lots of choices, then maybe it's for you.

It offers an immense roster, including some of super-broken characters (though you can turn those off in online-matchmaking and just have fun with them yourself or in other modes if you want) and I'd argue that if you could only have a few of the many older 2D KoF games in your library, the top ones would be 98 UM, this game, and probably KoF 13. (I kinda also like King of Fighters XI, too, but that game is stuck on old consoles/arcades and doesn't have a Steam version.)

Anyway, this is the some of the best of old-school King of Fighters before 13, and worth checking out if you're genuinely interested in the franchise. Casual players might be overwhelmed by the amount of stuff going on here, but for serious fans this is a nice version of the game. Then again, like I said, you could just take a deep dive and see if you like it. If you're hesitant - then try out some other versions of the games on older consoles or hardware if you can. There's lots of options out there.

It's great and fun to play. But when challenging your friends, they might cheat you and use the stronger bosses who are illegal to use in the original 2002. Then again, this is unlimited match. Great game!

Um de muitos clássicos arcades da SNK, para mim esta versão do 2002 seria a versão definitiva mesmo, única coisa que eu senti falta foi o personagem K9999 que foi cortado devido aos seus direitos autorais devido ao personagem do curta-metragem do anime Akira.

Sistema on-line as vezes encontra partidas rápidas, mas deve ser o número de players jogando, assim dificultando de platinar o game.

Existem umas conquistas muito chatas de fazer, na qual na minha opinião não havia necessidade de ter, mas ok.
