I really wanted to like this game. I played a lot on Steam and even more on my phone. As a TRPG it's a lot of fun with tight mechanics and interesting characters. The Spiral of Destinies has some very compelling stories that would be great as a stand-alone game (and you get to play them for free without any gacha stuff...).

The only issue is that the game is built around gacha mechanics and as you progress there is more and more and more and more to do, and all of it time/resource capped. For me, keeping up with it all got to be draining, so I just finished out SoD and shelved the game. But I'm not complaining, it's a fun game and worth exploring.

Also, the soundtrack is awesome. Worth adding to your music library on its own, with "Hi éReila" as a major standout--and the scene where Nono Will sings it is a good example of this game at its narrative best.

You're into gacha games?
You love strategy games?
You like getting better equipments through gacha bs?
You like daily login to grind gacha currency?
You love the unobtainable hard pity that makes you always playing the same character in multiple banners?
Then this game is for you.

[spoiler] The fact that the MC and every characters in this game is [u] dead [/u] ruins the immersion for me ngl, and i hate doing Spiral of Destinies stories even though it's good (which is a time sink in itself).
It's kind of useless knowing that the fact it doesn't change anything (they're still dead) and it's just a backstory and what-ifs. [/spoiler]

This game's redeemable quality is just the pixel art, it's beautiful i love it so much.

I like it, you can easily tell it's made with love.

I've played The Alchemist Code for many years before the EoS, and wanted to try something similar since I was missing it. Some people told me about this game and didn't expect it to be that good.

I really like the story, the pixel art and the characters, so it is exactly what I was looking for rn.

I mean, yeah, it's a gacha game, it has stamina and you have to pull the characters you like, but it's really f2p friendly. You can farm the shards of the characters so there is no reason to pull for dupes after you get the first one. The weapon banner have a guaranteed of the featured weapon at the pull 50 and you can get them with astral shards with some lucky. And 5* standard weapons are farmeable.

I recently played Sword of Cornvallaria, and I didn’t expect to enjoy it this much. I ended up playing for almost 4 hours straight, and even then I still felt like continuing, which says a lot about how engaging the game is.

What really stood out to me is that it’s free but still feels like a proper RPG. The gameplay keeps you interested, and it doesn’t feel boring or repetitive too quickly. If you like RPGs, this game definitely delivers that experience.

I also liked how easy it is to get into. You don’t need to spend money to enjoy it, and the progression feels smooth. That’s something I appreciate because many free games usually hold you back.

Overall, I’d recommend it to anyone who enjoys RPG games and wants something engaging without spending money.

Das Spiel erweckt zunächst einen F2P freundlichen Eindruck - man hat sehr viel Glück in den ersten paar Wochen, 180 pulls bis legendär garantiert aber man pullt sie in 20-30? Es lief sehr gut, für das was machbar war als Newbie. Aber als dann meine Truppe 60 wurde kam es: Dass Meine Helden 50% der Kraft haben, die Veteranen in ihren Profilen ausstellen liegt nicht daran 60 noch nicht erreicht zu haben, sondern das Gacha Spiel geht ab dann erst los. RNG Aufwertmaterial auf jede Ausrüstung (3), rare Ressourcen um das zu tun und zusätzlich reicht es nicht einen Helden oder Gear zu haben, es ist fast schon die Norm, dass man Kopien pro Held maximiert.

Das wäre alles nicht so tragisch wenn man alles an Content mitnehmen könnte, aber die meisten Events sind für 60er high-power Accounts getuned. Als frischer 60er ohne viel Glück beim bis gear (das ist absolut standard, es kommt auf die rolls beim aufwerten an) RNG aufwerten habe ich kaum eine Chance auch nur die ersten Event Kämpfe zu clearen. Das kann man sicher hinkriegen wenn man full invested ist und null Wert auf den AFK Modus legt. Für mich war es enttäuschend, weil ich wirklich Spaß mit dem Story Modus hatte. Aber auch dieser erlaubt irgendwann einfach echte Account Helden zu nutzen - die ganze Emulation die diesen Modus bis dahin interessant gemacht hat war dann auch dahin.

1년 넘게 안하다 복귀했음. 너무 재밌어서 '와 내가 이걸 왜 그만뒀지?'라고 생각하고 있었는데 뽑기 50연차를 모아서 신캐를 뽑고자 했는데 기억이 싹 돌아옴. '아 뽑기 확율이 거지같았지?' 그리고 복귀한 유저에게는 현재 난이도가 너무 올라가 있음. 옛날 캐릭으로는 진짜 깨기가 어려움.

It's a JRPG with Turn-Based Tactics like the Disgaea serial, the pixel graphic are holding on, and there dialog with option to went thought, the art style and the music or effect done with higher quality, the story is a little boring to went thought.

most of the character need to draft out by microtrons system, which meaning there little freedom to decide your team cause they are draft out instead of you talk and invite them or capture them into your team.

Very fun game. I've put in about 10 hours so far at the time of this review. I don't typically play a lot strategy / tactical RPG's, so I don't have a ton of games to compare this to, but if you are looking for a pretty easy to follow game that has similar mechanics to games like Fire Emblem / Final Fantasy Tactics, you will enjoy it. You will have a fun time discovering & upgrading a unique team of characters!

Necesitas ENERGIA para poder jugar, una vez la gastas, tenes que pagar con recursos o dinero real si queres seguir o esperar todo un dia practicamente hasta que se recargue para asi poder jugar al menos 1 hora, es tedioso, y en este juego es peor que en el resto, porque miles de diferentes tipos de mazmorras, no podes completar todas diariamente sin optimizar al maximo este recurso o pagar

30대에서 50대까지의 도트 향수를 제대로 저격한 게임(Tactics oger의 온라인판 계승작!), 그 기준으로 본다면 스토리도 이만하면 나쁘지는 않고 그래픽도 나쁘진 않다. 특히 '운명의 소용돌이'라는 스토리 라인은 과금도 그리 필요없으니 추천한다. xd란 회사도 나름 성실하게 소소한 이벤트 준비하고 업데이트를 지속적으로 하는편이라 지금까지는 나름 불편함은 없었다. 당연히 무료로 할 수도 있지만 결국 단순 작업에 지쳐서 과금을 해야 하는 분위기로 간다(꽤나 오토로 돌리는 유저도 있는가본데... 그다지 막는거 같진 않는듯. 나름 출시가 얼마안된 게임인데도 고인물들이 슬슬 늘어나는게 보이긴한다.). 어느 정도 갖춘 유저들은 과금을 케릭터, 무기를 뽑고 성장시키는 두 번에 걸쳐 지불해야 제대로 신규케릭터 한명의 사용이 가능하다. 이 비용이 만만찮은데... 이 가격으로 계속 유지를 한다면? (글쎼?) 운이 좋으면 한 두번에 되겠지만 확률이 꽤나 적은지라 일반 유저들은 한달에 미니멈 10만원 정도는 넣어야 그래도 게임 돌리면서 할만한 환경이 될듯하다. 물론 시간이 많은 분들은 과금 주게임이 아닌 무과금 서브게임으로 조금씩 키우는 재미로 돌리면 상당히 만족할 수 도 있을듯하다. 그 외 데일리로 하는 것들이 있긴한데... 열심히 돌면 한시간 정도 시간이 소모된다. 암튼 굿 럭~

택틱스류 게임을 좋아하는 사람으로서 충분히 매력있는 게임이네요. 일주일 쯤 해보고 있는데 여러가지 지형 요소들도 재밌고 개성있는 가챠캐릭들도 좋고 할만 하네요. 다만 무료로만 즐기시길 추천합니다. 게임을 잘하다가 저처럼 업데이트 실패가 뜨면서 접속불가능해질 수 있기 때문입니다. 대충 찾아보니 한번 업데이트 실패뜨면 얘네가 수정을 안해주나 보더군요. 일주일 쯤하다가 강제로 접속 금지 되었습니다. 현질했으면 입에 거품물뻔. 어쨌든 무과금으로 소소하게 즐기다가 어느 순간 업데이트 실패라는 문구를 보게 된다면 그냥 맘편히 접으시길 추천합니다. 지우고 깔아보고 해봐도 해결 안되네요.

um bom jogo focado apenas no melhor do PVE casual, existe o PVP, mas é apenas para quem gosta de um ranqueado amistoso, mas nada que preocupe o jogador casual, pois o essencial e necessário para seu crescimento pode ser obtido através das diárias/semanais e principalmente em eventos, o único incomodo que tenho a respeito é que os recursos ganhos no jogo são muito poucos para o alto custo exigido para a evolução ou até a obtenção das unidades pelo gatcha que, nem todos tem a sorte de obter com poucos tiros, isso pode não ser problema para quem costuma gastar com o jogo embora isso não seja um compromisso do jogador para obter o que quer, mas quando esse jogo envolve o fator sorte para se obter novas unidades, isso costuma ser algo bem frustrante para os jogadores F2P, sem mencionar o custo alto da loja de cash do jogo, até o kit de recursos simples tende a ser bem caro pro bolso de quem não utiliza o dinheiro base do jogo(dólar), fazendo com que seja algo muito expensivo para o bolso do jogador Brasileiro por exemplo. Apesar dessa crítica, eu ainda considero esse jogo muito bom, apesar de que necessite de melhorias para a qualidade de vida do jogo em questão comercial...

모바일 턴제 전략 게임.
위쳐3 콜라보 마지막쯤 입문했는데 이때 얻은 콜라보 캐릭 성능이 좋아서 플레이가 조금 쉬웠다.
메인 스토리인 바보의 이야기를 밀면서 재화 던전을 열고 결투장을 열고 탑(10층)을 여는, 시즌있고 월정액있는 전형적인 모바일 게임인데, 내가 이 게임에서 가장 좋았던 요소는 운명의 소용돌이라는 컨텐츠였다.
운명의 소용돌이는 내 캐릭터 3명까지 데리고(만렙 데려가도 1렙부터 시작, 스킬은 초기화 안됨) 스토리 진행을 하는 컨텐츠인데 분기가 있고 바보의 이야기만으로는 알 수 없는 스토리들도 볼 수 있다. 처음 열리자마자 하면 좀 어려운데 나중에 스킬을 다 연 캐릭터들로 데려가면 쉽게 진행할 수 있다.
다만 이 게임 템포가 좀 느리다. 대화할 때 꾹 누르고 있어야 빨리 진행되는 것도 좀 귀찮고 게임 플레이 시 속도를 가속 2단계까지 할 수 있는데 이게 기본 속도여야 하는 게 아닌가 싶다.
그런데 운소 때문에 매력을 느끼고 시작했는데 막상 시간이 오래 걸리다 보니 자주 안 하게 되는 게 함정.
플레이 도중 빠져나올 수 있고 진행도는 유지되지만 끄자니 더 하다 끄고 싶고 조금만 하자니 감질나고 아예 안 하자니 아쉬운 컨텐츠.

es un juego de gacha y muchas de las cosas no vas a obtener, me encanta la idea que es un juego de turno tacticos, creo que por eso fue que lo instale, no obstante es muy frustrante darle 10mil veces a los diamantes y que no te salga una poronga, hay misiones de eventos que no vas a poder hacer porque te meten el huevo de un solo golpe y lo peor es que algunos te consumen energia, con respecto a las armas lo mismo vas a tener que darle a muchos diamantes para obtener las que son de tu personaje o las que van mejor con alguno que te den, subir los objetos y personajes tambien es complicado.... siento que si o si tienes que meterle plata o durar 15 años para obtener lo que quieres

Acredito que Sword of Convallaria se tornará um clássico Cult quando o jogo for descontinuado pela XD. Quem não jogou ouvirá historias carinhosas e nostalgicas daqueles que jogaram. Algo semelhante ao que ocorre com Chorno Trigger e Final Fantasy Tactics, SoC passará pelo mesmo processo de envelhecimento.

Em Sword of Convallaria encontramos elementos de Final Fantasy Tactics, Final Fantasy Ogre, Fire Emblem e também um roteiro semelhante ao de Suikoden.

Sword of Convallaria é um jogo Gatcha P2W (PayToWin) surpreendentemente amigável com os jogadores F2P (Free to Play).

동일 장르에서는 대체재가 없는, 택틱스 오우거의 정신적 계승자 (온라인 한정)

pc 클라이언트에서 주로 플레이해서, 스팀 플레이 시간은 얼마 되지 않네요.

特別缺點：抽卡又貴又難抽，機率喪心病狂，保底令人髮指，還有乾死人不償命的活動

序盤しかやってないけど、ガチャを売るために作られた低コストゲームという印象。
ガチャゲーでなければもう少し楽しめたと思う。

メインキャラもガチャキャラも魅力がない。
エピックキャラ（☆4？）の多くが顔を隠しているモブみたいなキャラ。
ドット絵は普通。

ストーリー進行が早送りしても遅すぎる。しかも常時クリック長押しが必要。
序盤ですぐに鍵付きの選択肢が見えるので２周目があることはわかるが、こんなの何度もやりたくない。
進行は遅いが序盤は急展開でついていけない。たぶん早くガチャシーンまで行かせたいだけ。

「ピクセルアートに最新の３Ｄ技術を融合」と書いてあるけど、視点変更できないし全くわからなかった。

i have a love hate relationship with this game. yes, it's fun, i do enjoy the fools journey and crossing worlds. but when you spend 100+ hours on the spiral of destinies just to accidentally get a bad ending, i cannot explain how soul crushing that feels. i like this game a lot, i enjoy the base mechanics, but i haven't forgiven it for giving me the bad ending, even though that's essentially my fault.

besides that, this is probably one of my favorite tactical RPGs. yes, this game does have gacha elements, but it's not the main part of this game. some parts of the game the gacha part isn't even required or used, the gambling is just a fun extra element lol

i usually do more detailed reviews than this, but i simply don't feel like i've played this game enough to go over everything in it. it is technically 2-3 games together to me, each gamemode being it's own different bit. really, if you're into tactical RPGs, i would give this game a whirl

절대 시작하지 말아야 할 게임
여기에 긍정적으로 평가 쓴 인간들은 알바거나 관계자임에 틀림없음
그냥 사기 게임 이라고 보면 됌

현재 현금90정도 쓴 거 같은데 저 수많은 케릭터중에 5성이 하나도 없음(장담하건데 이게임 올케릭 5성에 전무5성 만들려면 억 단위 이상 무조건 써야됌 ) 한달에 몇 백 쓸 수 있는 사람 아님 게임에서 할 수 있는 게 없음 초반에만 친절하고 중반 넘어가면
현질을 안하고선 바로 고립됌 모든게 막혀버림
평가중에 보니깐 6500원짜리 패키지 질러서 모든케릭 5성 맞췄다고 써놓은 새끼 있는데 그냥
그 키보드 치는 손 오함마로 찍어서 가루를 만들어야 함 개새끼가 어디서 약을 팔어

처음에 접속하면 환심 살려고 온갖 보상을 뿌림 근데 그것마저도 좋은거 많이 주는거 같지만서도 결과적으로 최종적으로 가야할 좋은 케릭터5성 에 전무5성을 맞추는 데는 하나 도움 안되는 템뿐임

게임을 좀 진행하다보면 알겠지만 이게임 안에 있는 모든 컨텐츠가 그냥 다 악질적으로 현질을 요구함
렙업 장비렙업 스킬포인트 하다 못해 게임 한판 한판 하는데도 현질을 요구함
이게 뭐냐면 게임속에 전투를 할 수 있는 소모 포인트 같은 게 있는데 이게 극 초반에 뿌린 보상있을때는 못느끼다가
이게 소모 되는 순간 포인트가 모자라서 할 수 있는 게 없음 결국은 현질을 해야함

제일 ㅈ같은게 현질해서 케릭터랑 장비 뽑아봐야 게임 코인이 없어서 써먹을 수가 없음
전투 한판에 보통 1분~5분정도 걸리는데 현질 2만원 값 해봐야 10판도 못한다고 보면 됌
개 병신같은 게임 만들어놓고 돈 쓸어 모아갈 짱깨들 생각하면 자다가도 벌쩍 일어날 정도로 분노가 치밀음
아무튼 긍정적 평가에 낚이지 말고 절대 시작하지 말길
그리고 유저들 사이에 섭종 이야기도 심심치 않게 나오는 거 보니 하루 아침에 섭종할 위험성도 있어 보임
이 새끼들 고객센터 대응 하는 거 보면 마인드가 어느정도 보이는데
더이상 빨아먹을 거 없으면 기존유저 생각안하고 그냥 섭종할 거 같아 보이긴 함
아무튼 절대 시작하지마 이런 개 사기게임

настоящий шедевр инди-экшена. Визуал поражает атмосферой сказочной страны, бой — точный и динамичный, а музыка держит планку эпичности до финала босса. Лор манит загадками, а выборы в истории влияют на концовку и отношения с NPC. Отличная оптимизация и поддержка моддинга делают игру реиграбельной. Рекомендую всем, кто любит красоту мира и продуманную механику боя.

Самое тупое что могли придумать создатели - это при проведении боев на арене ГДЕ ДЕРУТЬСЯ НАСМЕРТЬ РАБЫ добавить СУДЬЮ который говорит как можно бить (в этом кровавом месиве для потехи толпы) А КАК БИТЬ НЕЛЬЗЯ ведь ЭТО ТАК ВЕСЕЛО ПРИДУМЫВАТЬ ПРАВИЛА...ура? Отличная игра была ... Кто-то из разработчиков решил что усложнять ВСЁ включая первые этапы каждого ивента и пихать НЕ ИНТЕРЕСНЫЕ, А РАЗДРАЖАЮЩИЕ УСЛОВИЯ БОЯ!!!! это то что нужно чтобы окончательно добить игру))) А самое раздражающее что добавленные условия аукаются на поздних этапах уровня (15-20 минут просранного времени для игрока) чтобы вы использовали "отмотку этапа" которые бесконечны ...угадайте...на ПЛАТНОЙ подписке!) НО я не стану покупать подписку в игре КОТОРАЯ НЕ ПРИНОСИТ УДОВОЛЬСТВИЯ ОТ ИГРЫ))) Удачи в банкротстве - надеюсь писатели и художники найдут хорошее место работы а геймдизайнеры - нет. (для любителей пошаговых боев и эпичных историй. Настоящая вариативность сюжета, что удивительно, и приятное дополнение к прекрасно написанной истории с интересными и "живыми" персонажами. F2P очень щедрый и не ограничивает контент и не нужно по 19 копий персонажа выбивать чтобы он стал "хорошим", что редкость. Огромное спасибо авторам за их труд.)

So long as you can pull a character you can get their fragments type things to make them stronger by just grinding. I was looking for a FE like game not made by nintendo and found this. It's not genshin and that is why it's good.

I liked genshin but some of their decisions make me not like the game anymore. Whereas here, it's kinda like fire emblem with the grid battles and it's possible to get anything you got to max with enough time and patience, it's not bad. I play a bit each day

If your not into Gacha games or dislike turn based games this ain't for you but if you like both genre's this is a good one. One of the better ones I've played, games also free so you can try it and see if you like it and uninstall if you don't

For a clunky port that requires me to swap between mouse and controller, it's a great game with grim themes. A decent tactics game, a gacha system, a lot of lore and story, TONS of voice acting in the prologue, though it is not throughout the game, real nice hand-drawn artwork, SUDDENLY I'm watching an anime cut scene. This game gets deep. The subject matter of the levels sometimes gives sensitive content warning because, hey, it's war and it gets dark. A lot of factions, a lot of fantasy, a lot is going on. I've only just begun this story and I'm hooked. In 2.3 hours played, it honestly feels as if I played for 4 or 5 hours.

It´s okay

More details: This is probably my favorite grid based tactical gameplay, and that is coming from a die hard fan of trpg games like FFT, Tactics Ogre, FIre Emblem, Disgaea, Fell Seal, Devil Survivor, Soul Nomad, Triangle Strategy... and even not so grid based tactical games like Valkyria Chronicles, Unicorn Overlord, Troubleshooter: Abandoned Children, ost Dimension, Divinity Original Sin, Baldurs Gate 3, XCOM games, and so many more, I am telling you this because if you are just looking for a random gacha game to put on auto while doing other things... well you can do that with strong meta characters, but the game shines when giving you tools and letting you use the environment to your advantage, using knockback skills to move things around, push enemies to the abyss, push enemies to barrels, push enemies into other enemies and so on... putting or using existing traps, leaving fire on the ground to damage enemies passing through... it´s a lot of fun, and it allows you to come up with different strategies and tactics to beat the stages.

If you are worried about the paid elements, well, you can complete pretty much 90-95% of all content in the game with F2P characters and resources, it even has a story mode (Spiral of Destinies) that is 100% F2P, you cannot even bring your gacha equipment into it, and you can beat it easily with the given F2P characters, it is a pretty robust story mode with multiple routes and endings based on your choices, it´s great. The other part of the game, the tower of conquest, normal gacha story and so on... you can just try to pull meta characters and likely pass most of them on auto, but you can also try to use tactics and creativity to come out on top, so even when doing hard events it´s usually fun.

That last 5-10% bit you "cant"? ranked event content, in which you are participating in a global ranking to beat stages in an optimal way, and even if you manage to beat the stage (getting usually 99% of rewards with it), getting to the top ranks may require some very specific characters or strategies. There is powercreep, no doubt about it, and it´s pretty blatant, which would have been a deal breaker for me in most circumstances... but here it kinda doesn´t matter because pretty much all content is PvE. As far as pvp goes... not far really, there is an asynchronous seasonal mode that you can completely ignore, or just play againts oponents marked as "easy" (which are usually bots) to get literally all rewards, you wont appear on the rankings maybe, but that gives literally no rewards at all. And there is a live PvP mode, but it gives 0 rewards, I have played plety of it in my guild, but just for fun.

As for the negatives... it IS a gacha game, they constantly try to give you FOMO to pull by making the hardest current even easier to beat if you have the latest character, there is a stamina system for the normal story mode (not for Spiral of Destinies tho, there you use a currency called "keys" which allow you to beat an entire chapter per key, but you get a bunch of them at the start of the game and then 2 keys every week, they expire after 2 weeks each but I have rarely used more than a single one per week since chapters can be quite lenghty if you play meticulously)... and "skin" events are a scam, don´t bother with those. the gacha itself is pretty good, having 2% pull rate for a legendary character, and getting enough for around 70 or so pulls per month (if you log in every day, varying based on events and first clears), and usually getting a new character every fortnight, so if you don´t pull for EVERY character you usually have more than enough for those you really want, even as a F2P player, and you can farm dupes of them, so you can as a F2P player get a completely MAXED out character, on the level of whale players in around 3 months of daily logging (by farming shard dupes, you can farm up to 3 characters at once so you actually get 3 maxed out characters at the end of those 3 months), great stuff.

A good pixel turn based JRPG. My main points are as follows:

- Tutorial is a little lengthy but worth the effort once you're past it.
- Two primary story modes with many events which typically run for a lengthy duration.
- You will realise its heavy in lore once you progress and unlock several routes.
- Despite being a mobile gacha, it's F2P friendly and not P2W.
- Many of the units can be obtained through steady play from summoning banners.
- Some units can outshine some modes if you decide to spend.
- Gacha element can be generous at times, but it's not required for the main play.
- Event collab units will take some spending.
- Combat can become tedious.
- Generous with gift codes and freebies.
- Units are level locked behind your player cap and rank requires duplicates.
- Great pixel animation and art aesthetics
- Good music, and VAs. Not every scene is voiced however.
- Despite a guild function, it's single player sadly. You cannot interact with other players outside this.

There are some things which are left to be desired. If your casual it's ideal. For those expecting a heavy strategy or tactical experience I would say don't go in with overaching high expectations.

First Playthrough – 3 Hours In (Quick Intro Review, will update later)

Art Design → INSANE.
The visual style is absolutely gorgeous. The pixel art, animations, and overall atmosphere are incredibly well done.

Story (Prologue Only) → Ordinary so far.
Nothing groundbreaking yet, but it’s still very early. I’m hoping it develops more depth as the game progresses.

Characters → Appealing.
The designs and personalities are engaging. They’re interesting enough to make me want to see more.

F2P Friendly? → If you’re a casual player, yes.
At least early on, it feels manageable without spending. Long-term remains to be seen.

Sound Design & Voice Acting → Great.
Music and character voice-overs are strong and add a lot to the atmosphere.

Gameplay → Better than I expected.
I haven’t unlocked everything yet, so there’s clearly more depth to explore, but first impressions are positive.

Current Score: 6/10
Solid start with strong presentation. Waiting to see how the systems and story evolve.

Edit: After 4.5 hours, I’m kind of bored. The game is okay, but it’s not really what I’m looking for. I’m also pretty busy right now, so it’s time for me to stop playing. That said, it’s a good choice if you’re looking for a casual SRPG, and it’s fairly generous to some extent.

I've played around 50h across all platfroms (Android, iPad, Steam) and I'm really enjoying myself and plan it became my go-to game! Yes, its a Gacha game so that comes with all the usual stuff like Summoning, Energy usage for the combat and lots and lots of resources, but SoC is a lot more generous when it comes to its Gacha mechanics. The Pity system does give you Legendary Characters pretty frequently and as a F2P player (only bought a Skin) i got lots of good units. BUT what really makes this game special for me is that it's basically two games in one: The Standard Gacha game where you explore "the Fools Journey" story and "Spiral of Destinies" and oh man is Spirals good. This game was originally meant to be a single player console game and that shows in Spirals. No enery usage, no Gacha elements, just pure tactical-RPG fun with a fun and engaging Story line that takes a long time to beat and they added two more campaigns to it since its launch. And ofcourse the Pixel Artstyle is absolutely gorgous with great animations and beautiful music. So yes, i fully recommend this game for anyone who likes T-RPGs like Final Fantasy Tactics and Fire Emblem and enjoys gacha games.
