I love this game and the aspect of getting the different delegates of food to a peace conference. Also collecting box tops are so cool. I also love how a carrot talks to Sam and this game is about sweets and has lots of food in it. This game is inspiring definitely get it if you get the chance.
I bought it for the nostalgia, but now my 6-year-old is getting to play it too. It runs as well as it ever did on Windows 98, and there are no major graphics issues on Windows 11. The story holds up, and the game's randomizing puzzles make it re-playable for kids.

Great for children and a fun distraction for adults. The artwork and animations are gorgeous with rich color and the story is very cute. Takes around 2 hours to beat, but I believe the puzzles to solve change slightly each playthrough. Works great on the Steam Deck running in ScummVM and still receives occasional compatibility updates now 26 years later. Highly recommended!

This game reminds us why it's important that we should choose peace instead of war all over the world. Pajama Sam even reminds us that all the best culinary food delights are made by different kinds of food mixed together and that we should work together to make a better future.
As a kid, probably played this the most of the Pajama Sam games, but I couldn't tell you why. Playing it now, I think its one of the weaker entries. Not bad by any means, but definitely not as good as 1 or 2.

the graphics on this ScummVM version aren't as good as they should be. and not as good as the first two games. everything is jagged. still a great game and probably the most challenging of the three. but not as good. the world doesn't feel as big as 2. i think the game could have had a few more areas you could explore.
I really liked Pajama Sam 3.
It continues to use the gameplay formula from Pajama Sam 2 but in a new environment. Sure it doesn't Innovate, but it doesn't devolve the formula either. You still have item randomisation and different places where each main objective/person can spawn.
Also in some ways it feels both like first and second game atmosphere vise, which is good considering most people consider It a true finale of the series! It feels laid back and open world esque exploratory like the 2nd game, but with a more kid focused tone of the first game(since now there's less subtle jokes that only adults will get like how 2nd game had more humour that older audiences can appreciate, like the office culture)
Also just like the second game, the puzzles aren't immediately solvable/easy, so that means it's more enjoyable to play it as an avid p&c adventure fan as an adult, with zero nostalgic attachment to the game
So yeah, go buy/play this one after the first and second game, and you can skip on the 4th game since it's a very weak entry in the series

Ну что же "Pajama Sam 3" оправдал ожидания. Первая часть мне показалась нудноватой. 2-я вселила надежду на потепление отношений с сериалом. И вот третья часть. Она всё такая же весёлая, но в тоже время не вызывает раздражения излишним туплением. "Сэм" вообще больше конечно мультик с элементами квеста. И из-за мультяшности трудно бывает сосредоточиться, слишком много лишней для квестера анимации. В общем приятный квест и не то что бы детский, в смысле простой. Ещё порадовала русская локализация(если найдёте русификатор в сети). Переведено кажется всё, до чего дотянулись руки переводчика.
зы. Ну что же, на очереди "Pajama Sam 4 Life Is Rough When You Lose Your Stuff!" и можно закрывать гештальт по этой франче.
зыы Посмотрел на Ютубе прохождение. Вообще все ключевые моменты не такие! Участников совещания собирать надо другими способами. Например фр. Батон у меня застрял на колесе обозрения. А в прохождении на Ютрубе этот самый батон вообще приз, который надо выиграть. Так же там надо добывать вантуз(при спуске на лыжах), а я вообще прошёл игру без этого вантуза. И я кстати не понял, несёт ли спуск на лыжах какой то смысловой нагрузки в моей версии игры. Вообще, я читал где то, что авторы любили обновлять версии Сэма, при этом иногда алгоритм прохождения сильно менялся.

Had this on PS1 os a kid. Randomly seen a video of a fella ragging on games, this one included, and then MEMORY UNLOCKED. Finally knowing the name, I found this and did what I couldn't at 3. Like beating it. What I like? It is untouched from what I can tell. Seems like a game stuck in the mid 90s. What I don't like? Man, I must've been a dumb kid to not figure this out... Kinda checks out for how the last 25 years or so have gone... 10/10 for the time capsule/nostalgia kick.

I remember playing the demo as a kid. The CD was from a cereal box. Good times. Game still holds up, good for kids.
This game is good for a younger audience. I grew up playing the collection now I get to experience these games again with my own children, 10/10 wish they made Kids games like this again.

Although differing a bit more from its predecessors, this game still holds a level of care and attention come to be expected by the previous entries. It has a unique vibe to it with the body and health focus--with heavy political undertones--I had a blast streaming it to my friend group and found it super enjoyable even without playing it as a kid. Something about the style and charm of these games holds up so well and I cannot recommend them enough.
This game was my childhood. I play this game whenever I think of it.

Out of all the games, this one will make you the most hungry due to all the delightful food you'll be eating and meeting along the way. Once again great art,characters,music everything is to the usual Pajama Sam quality.
Multiple playthroughs to keep it fresh and interesting, with a bitter sweet ending to the Pajama Sam series.
The last good "Pajama Sam" game and considering its short length, therefor not overstaying its welcome, and a comparably more profound, funny and satirical spin on the cast of characters and its writing in general, this game (and all but the last Pajama Sam game) gets close to being recommendable to adults, without any caveats.
By the way, just letting you know that this entry is the most "political" of the "trilogy".

this game is SO FUN!
Played this for nostalgia, but I really appreciate how much time and care has been put into this game. From the dialogue to the effects you get when you click different things on the screen, it was still fun playing this as an adult. I wish more games were like this.
I use to play this as a child. I spent countless hours clicking and just getting lost in the world. I'm now 25 years old playing this game with my 2 year old and it still is a great game!
It's very nostalgic for me. I'd also say it still holds up well to this day and should be good for kids still! I did find this one wasn't as humorous as the other games in the series, but that's ok, it still has its moments! Like the other games, it also has mild randomization to the situations you get into, so you can play it multiple times.
Like the first two, Pajama Sam 3 is a really fun game. Its music is really nice to listen to and the characters are comical (and delicious)! The minigames are pretty simplistic, but are fun nonetheless. Just try not to eat too many cookies and cake; it'll make you sick. :D
Although not as iconic as No Need to Hide When It's Dark Outside this is one of the great classic early childhood point & click adventures from Humungous Entertainment and is still to this day just as charming.
Now we'll see how my nephew adjusts to having to use a mouse instead of a touch screen to play this game.

So this time, the portal to Sam's hallucination world is in the pantry. And I never thought I would say this, but this game is too political. I mean what child would know what a political prisoner or Peace Summit is. There's a part with workers striking because of race issues, I get the lesson their trying to teach about working together, but I think the subject matter is a bit more advanced for 5-8 year olds. Also this is the first Pajama Sam game that drunk me could do by himself, yay drunk me.

Un très très bon jeu, je suis content qu'il soit traduit en français juste dommage de ne pas avoir le droit au sous-titre afin que les sourds complet puisse en profiter sans que l'on leur demande un bon niveau d'anglais.
Mais sinon la plupart du temps, il est facile a comprendre se qu'ils disent voir même deviner a peu près

just as good as the other games, the map is a bit harder to navigate though. i got stuck not being able to get back to part of the map because 2 of the parts to click are too close together. once i figured out to click a bit lower down it worked fine

Shorter than its predecessors, and not themed around a fear, as much as an acceptance of healthy eating. Still a positive message, but a notable difference. The game seems more built around exploration, with simpler puzzles, and more backtracking.
