Not the best in the series, but the highlights were cooking in the kitchen and the thrilling chase after the culprit at the end. My only issue is that I couldn’t get past the Fox and Geese puzzle.
fox and geese + cooking = fun
This is the best Nancy Drew game I've ever played.

Trust me, I have autism.
Followed closely by Warnings at Waverly Academy.
If there's one thing I've learned in life, it's that you always trust a person with autism when they're talking about their special interest. In fact, I'd probably trust a neurodivergent enthusiast slightly more than I'd trust a neurotypical field expert. But that's just me.
So I humbly present to you: My autism-fueled opinion on this Nancy Drew game.
The top pros are:
- Vibes. I strongly believe that the biggest determining factor in whether a Nancy Drew game is excellent or mid lies in the aesthetic, the theming, the coziness factor, and the vibes. And this game has some of the best vibes of them all.
- There's a wolf. I like animals. And best of all,
you get to befriend the wolf! Haha! Puppy! Very good!
- Just the right amount of repetitive. Chores include housekeeping, cooking using time management skills to be efficient without burning things, and snow shoveling (minesweeper), but the chores never get too grueling in my opinion. Just the right amount of repetitive.
- Good puzzles, including an approximation of minesweeper, checkers but worse and evil, a logic puzzle mixed with a maze somehow, a plan-ahead puzzle where you have to carefully order what coins you put in what slot and when, and many more.
- Foley artist knew what he was doing. The sound of snow crunching under boots, and sometimes squeaking, which is very good in my opinion.
- Good characters and suspects. No one is too obvious or overly suspicious, so the mystery remains compelling right to the end. The character dialogue is entertaining and some of the voice lines have made it into my regular vocabulary of niche references. (Bonus points if you can guess which lines.)
- Compelling side plots bring richness and depth even outside the main story.
There is one big con.
The time-limited puzzles are a little too hard. There are exactly two parts of this game that are slightly terrible, and they are the only two time-limited puzzles in the entire game:
The ice floes and the pipes.
IYKYK. But that's coming from someone who hates time-limited puzzles on a baseline. But it's not insufferable enough to outweigh the excellent parts.
All in all, this game is violently comforting and high quality. Would recommend to anyone who likes cozy lodge vibes, wolves, slightly repetitive tasks, and rich side plots.
This game is so nostalgic from my childhood. Lol. Also, being set in Canada as a Canadian, I love playing it.
wonderful and fun! i love the puzzles and am a big fan of the cooking! the chores can get rather tedious but still fun! and i love finding the easter eggs <3
Good game.
that 20 minute chase segment was ridiculous, like surely that's a bug????
just a really fun game
wanna retry this one, i am really bad at minesweeper so i get stuck at the frozen lake part. love the vibe of the cabin!
All I do is cook, clean and sleep and people keep trying to kill me with bombs
One of my favorites in the series for a more in-depth whodunit, with some wonderful fake-outs, red herrings, and suspicious activity on top of the great puzzles and some meme-worthy dialogue here and there.
8.5/10, would pelt children with snowballs again.
This one was OK - I felt like the repeat tasks got very old very quickly. And once it even glitched out and kept saying that a certain room was not clean even though it clearly was. That said, I liked figuring out some of the clues, and it's a great franchise. 6/10.
This was the last Nancy Drew game I played as a child and at that point, I hadn't beaten it. Now having finished the game as an adult, I remember why. This is one of the more tedious ND games and it can be quite limiting in your game play, which can make it boring at times. You have to fix meals at certain times every day, do chores in the morning and time your investigating to meet the guests when they're in the lodge. At first it's fun, but it gets boring very quickly and I had to sleep through so much of the day just to advance to the next part it felt like it broke the immersion. The plot is ok, the characters are forgetable. 6 out of 10. It's meh.
I enjoyed the story and atmosphere of the game. one thing I dislike is that when Nancy walks somewhere far, she has to make the same long walk every time she goes that route, it doesn't cut it even though you already explored that section. It is a fun game though!
(the goose vs wolf mini game required to move forward and get... you know what, to open... you know what.... is NOT FUN! Especially when you have to play it 6 times in a row!!!)
This game is fine until the final chase. I've tried 3 times now, all of them lasting nearly (if not) 5 minutes, I'm playing on a laptop so my finger is starting to hurt, and I still can't catch the culprit. No matter how close I get, as soon as I get near them, they get a sudden burst of speed. The culprit goes through trees, but if you take the path they do, nope you get dinged. The ending of this game is stupid.
Ngl I started this game as a kid (on the wii) and never finished it. Picked it back up years later and it was still challenging lmao. But, it was pretty fun and nostalgic for me, so I enjoyed it anyway.
I'll admit, I did have to give this game a second chance to be able to complete it (yes, on my first try I gave up on the infamous puzzle!) I don't know if having already gone through half of the game meant I found solving the puzzles easier this time through or what, but I definitely enjoyed the game more the second time. Overall, a good game.
I once said "I love Isis" because of this game. That's how I found out about the terrorists.
♥♥♥♥ you Tino Balducci. That survey was the biggest waste of time in any ND game. The cooking minigame is most of this game and it is A-N-N-O-Y-I-N-G. Pro tip for anyone who reads this, you can skip meals if you set your clock to the exact closing hour of the meal time. For example, if it's 7:00a.m. set your alarm clock to 8 and it'll be 8:00p.m.
It's best to use walk-throughs but I really enjoy the childhood fun of this game.
Although the Fox and Geese game absolutely ruins the later half of the game; being able to pelt snowballs at a small child does help to redeem it!
this one is a classic - nice fun balance of puzzles and snooping with a solid amount of easter eggs
One of the worst ND games. Everything is timed. Being outside is timed, your chores are timed throughout the day (constantly watching for breakfast, lunch, and dinner). Cant talk to all the characters so have to fast fwd the times. Have to do laundry. make beds. I play games to escape my life, not do the same thing virtually.
Cool setting for a nancy drew game, good story. ♥♥♥♥ the goose and fox game- have fun spending 2-3 hours on it because you will lose your mind!!
One of my favourites of the series (and wow is it cool to have a game take place in my home province!). It's a cool story with fun characters, and I just love the puzzles in this one (fox and geese, I'm looking at you!). I've played this one more than most of the other Nancy Drew games.
One of my favorites of the earlier Nancy Drew games!
I love this game, but I hate the fox and geese segment. I have never been able to finish it without following a guide step by step, and even then the ai is so bad that it's almost impossible to finish.
im gay
Done. Case solved. Hard. Interesting. Really slow motion with daily tasks. :-D But cool, really!
I played this game with my 9 year old daughter. She thought it was a very good game and very adventurous. She liked the minigames and the puzzles. Some of them she thought were kind of difficult and didn't enjoy, even on Junior Detective. There is a lot of busywork in the game that extends playtime. Overall, a good experience with lots of exciting parts but nothing scary or gruesome.
dont like how this one has daily mandatory minigames, and there's a weather condition that prevents you from going out at night so there's a limited time to progress the story before it's mandatory minigame time again.
It was fun but couldn't finish it, the hand cloths and towels weren't appearing for the wolf, i restarted it and it does the same by the time i get to that point they towels stop appearing i totally could've been doing something wrong but it was pissing me off. Still a good story hated the chores that's why i wont recommend this game
Fun game but screw the survey...
do chores simulator
This is the worst Nancy Drew game we've ever played. If you like doing chores, it's great! Nancy becomes a maid and a cook and you have to keep to a specific schedule - grinding out chores over and over again. If you fail to complete them, you will be fired, so there is no way around it. Not to mention the horrible game mechanics (cough cough the snow mobile).
fun game
This is a good game -- but I honestly can't say it's my favorite. It is so full of forced "chores" that it interferes with the game's pace and overall playing experience. While some puzzles are excellent (fox and geese and the snow-shoveling puzzle, for example), others can be brutal. Great atmosphere and music, though -- this game is renowned for being THE iconic winter ND game, so it's worth a play.
Relaxing, leisurely game. Likable characters.
The worst puzzles and the start of Nancy Drew games diverting from quirky funny feel-good games to something that is trying too hard to be taken seriously and not fun. I feel happy knowing I'll never see Fox and Geese again in my life.
really good nancy drew game not horbily hard ethier
fantastic
Loved the environment. Some games a bit tricky, but if you get it, you can do it.
Didn't like to call so much and don't like to cook either, but that's personal.
Overal a very nice game to get some hours of playing.
Fox and Geese was a challenge until I actually started trying and stopped with the defeatism. Managed complete all 3 within 5 minutes after that.
Ahh, Nancy Drew...
Sometimes (always), I feel exactly like Nancy Drew... (every second every day)
The Count and I started this one about two years ago. Only now have we finally finished it. What an accomplishment!
I am a Learned Lynx, so I can tell you for certain, with my expert research skills, that this is my favorite Nancy Drew game that I've finished. Does that have anything to do with it being the only Nancy Drew game that I have finished? Who's to say...
I really like the part where all the radioactive stuff is hanging out in the lodge. I also think the cooking is funny.
There was also a part where you get trapped in the sauna. Good thing it wasn't filled with Kryptonite!! HAHA!
(that one is for all my Smallville fans out there teehee)
If you can get the pig on the geese and foxes game you're officially King-Level.
*Gameplay spoilers below*
I realized typing this out that I don't have too much positive to say about this. I'm somewhere inbetween recommending and not recommending it, but ultimately I have more negative to say than positive. I wish ratings could be "number of stars" based and if it were, I'd give it a 3 star rating. I wouldn't play this again, personally.
Things I liked:
-Being the cook
Things I disliked:
-Having to dial the full number when wanting to call someone, as opposed to just clicking "Ned" for example
-The heads of the animals with glowing eyes in the lodge leading to absolutely nothing
-No guidance from the checklist and little to no guidance/hints when you call Ned/Tino
I felt like I spent most of this game wandering around aimlessly and the other huge time stealer was playing fox and geese at the end for (I stg) like 2 IRL hours.
Idkkkkkkk. The wolfie cute tho and I'm glad is safe.
Although I hated a few mini games (I'm looking at you floating ice and skiing) and this one had the SLOWEST start to action (or so it felt), Isis and her story made everything worth it!
whoever made the ice and fox + geese puzzle should be in jail
Ive played a lot of the nancy drew games. This is my least favorite. Its very tedious and focused more on chores than inveestigation. Not the best
This one is not the strongest HER Nancy Drew game out there. The atmosphere is chilly and intriguing, but the plot and story are bogged down by pointless errands and kitchen duty. The characters aren't very likable, and the puzzles are few and far between. Exploring the resort grounds is interesting enough, but the child in the snow fort is insufferable.
Overall, this one is for you if you enjoy the cooking mini-games as Nancy is stuck cooking all 3 meals a day.
Edit: I changed this to "not recommended" because as much as I tried to go back to this one, I actually DNF'd it.
Another great Nancy Drew game. This time she goes to Canada and explores the snowy mountains! Puzzles aren't too hard and everything runs smooth. 10/10
Very fun game, and the wolf is cute.
One of the worst ND games, simply because it has multiple "puzzles" that rely on random chance and are extremely frustrating to repeat over and over until the RNG likes you.
There are also fewer actual puzzles and more busy work in this one, like having to cook food every day, 3 times a day.
Great Mystery
I am not recommending this game because of Fox & Geese being the ONE barrier to you finishing the game and you can spend hours on it without succeeding. Eff that.
i like the game and the puzzles you have to figure out I would recommend it .
there is a cute little puppy in it
I love the Nancy Drew games, but lately I`ve had issues with every single Nancy Drew game. Some suddenly shuts down in the middle of the game, some shuts down when I`m about to save the game and some won`t open at all. Anyone else having the same issues?
stupid f***in goose game, I wish I could make her flip the board and slam it in his face
its a point and click game, but I loved it cause of Isis the wolf, she really makes the game special
You get to violently pelt snow balls at a young girl without remorse or punishment. Best game ever
very fun and i love how chill these types of games are.
fox and goose game makes me so mad i feel like puking so i havent actually finished this one but otherwise it's a solid 8/10 imo
love nancy drew! play it!
Dare I say White Wolf of Icicle Creek is an under-appreciated gem. The graphics were bad, even for the standards of the time. Now it gives the game a nostalgic charm. It's my go-to for when I want wintery cabin coziness, but can't afford the getaway. I am on the case, snowshoeing through a scenic wilderness and snooping through the belongings of lodge patrons. Exactly where I belong.
My favorite game ever! Better than anything else in this world, better than FORTNITE, no ♥♥♥♥!
Grew up on Nancy drew games, I just got a steamdeck and wanted to try it out on it. The game works ok but I highly recommend getting a Bluetooth mouse for sections that require fast/accurate mouse clicking. But I can still play Nancy drew while sitting at work so it's good in my opinion.
0/10: Unplayable
It's a shame, because the story and setting are both super cool!
Unfortunately, it is possible for plot-related events to just not happen. The character "Lupe" never appeared for me until I cheated my way forward. From what I've read, I am not the only one to experience this glitch. I also hear it's possible to beat the game without ever meeting two characters, which is embarrassing. Other issues included:
- Mandatory, awful time-sensitive cooking simulator, three times a day
- Laundry
- Real-time simulation where the day passes regardless of what you do (even if you are in the options screen! You can't pause!!)
- Criminally easy to save over your game and delete it in the process
- Inability to investigate one of the characters as a suspect (Nancy just assumes they're a good guy)
- Unused & forgotten spaces and items
- Unused & forgotten subplots that should lead to criminal charges on multiple characters, such as
theft of dinosaur bones
and
tampering with someone's gun
- Back-loaded, disappointing puzzles
- And of course, the classic:
no evidence points you to the bad guy before the big reveal, and they are just whoever is the least assuming
Listen, other than that TERRIBLE fox and geese game that took me hours to complete (I had to look up a tutorial,,,), I did like this game overall. There's lots of good puzzles and Isis is absolutely adorable.
I come back to this Nancy Drew installment about every year or so. It's a solid game, and one I think is well-suited for beginners:
PROS:
-Interesting premise: Bombs, poisoned guests, and a seemingly paranormal local wolf.
-Cozy game play: One thing that the 'old' Her Interactive did well was developing comforting and interesting settings. I always enjoy coming back to this game for the atmospheric elements of the lodge, snow, and the surrounding Canadian mountains.
-Exploratory elements: My biggest pet peeve with Nancy Drew games is when they lack places to explore. This one has some pretty good ones and a few cool places to look around: Shacks, guest rooms, the lodge, nearby trails, etc. The trails can get repetitive at times.
-Low danger, low stakes: This game is a good primer. Sure, the stakes of the game are portrayed as time-sensitive. But, in reality, the player has all the time in the world to go about solving the case. Newer Nancy Drew games tend to have elements of danger, which I enjoy. This is a good skill-builder to lead up to those, in my opinion.
-Relatively easy puzzles: Enough said:)
CONS:
-Boring characters: These characters are so incredibly boring. I have never considered any of them remotely suspicious or interesting, for that matter. Conversations never last too long, which is good, but it's also not great, either. In this case, the short conversations equate to little information being shared in terms of suspenseful character building.
-Character interaction stops: There comes a point when the characters are just... done with you? This often happens near the end of Nancy Drew games when there are just a few loose ends to tie up. But I felt that this happens way sooner than in other games. Plus, one of the characters has a premature exit and stops talking to you even sooner. This makes for an experience that becomes repetitive and isolating at times.
Love this game. Played it when I was younger and always come back to play over and over
Absolute worst Nancy Drew game I have played. That absolute awful fox and duck game sucked out all enjoyment. Whoever designed that and made you do it THREE TIMES is an awful game designer. Combined with the insane about of walking around between locations that require about 5 cut scenes each time made me just beg for this game to come to an end. If your game makes the player want to quit and just wish the game was over, you've done an awful job designing the game.
I love this game. The scenery is so cozy and the later story is fun. Logically, it's a bit of a disaster - you can see that Her Interactive has started to care more about how many puzzles they can fit in than whether they make any sense in the setting/story, but regardless, I still play it every winter to soak in the atmosphere and hear the crackling fire. It's a good one!
Playing a Nancy Drew Game is always a great way to spend your time. Loved it!
But If I have to play 4 rounds of Fox & Geese again I will throw my Computer out of the window. smh.
Slower paced entry in the franchise with lots of tedious chores.
Big ND fan here. These games were a huge part of me and my sisters' childhood and I've really enjoyed going back through them with my sister recently. This one however, SUCKED. The atmosphere is quite nice but aside from that I can't say much. The chores are tedious and get in the way of a satisfying game progression. Got stuck countless times wondering what the hell to do next. Most notably was the godforsaken trapper Dan notebook.
Anyone who's played ND games before knows that usually if you find an encoded text, you are sure to find the key or hint to decipher it soon (for instance Danger by Design). So when we saw the coded text, we put it away and assumed we'd get some hint for it when the time was right; these things become second nature when you play ND games long enough. We spent a few hours mindlessly wandering around the cabin trying to find the animal counters - I even beat the fox and geese game several times thinking that if I followed the formations in the book it would spit the counters out from the table or something. Come to find you literally just
zigzag the letters up and down to read it, and it gives you the location of the counters
. I mean what the hell, man. There were no hints AT ALL for the cipher - a good puzzle should at least nudge you in a direction to start with, even if its a dead end. This puzzle gives you NOTHING. On top of this, after we got the counters, we had to do the fox and geese game AGAIN... 3 MORE TIMES.
Nothing about this one was satisfying. Nothing. The puzzles were all so stupid that I felt dumber solving them. Definitely secured a spot at the bottom of my list of the best ND games I've played so far.
2/10
Every Nancy Drew game has intriguing characters and fun puzzles! I can play them over and over and never get tired of them!
liked hitting the kid in the face...not much else
The gameplay is too difficult.
Overall a solid Nancy Drew game even if the Fox and Geese puzzle/minigame is soooo frustrating
This game is truly something else. In the beginning, its amazing, would recommend. The pacing is perfect and the mystery is gripping. However, fox and geese is demonic, and it test your patience like no other. Play this one with caution.
This game sucks. You can only play the same puzzle over so many times before it gets old. I quit the game 2/3 of the way through. This game left enough of a bad taste in my mouth that I don't know if I will waste any more of my money on Nancy Drew.
Another Nancy Drew game I had growing up that I loved! Replaying it my love for this game has gone down a bit, mostly because I have since worked in a restaurant and the cooking really just felt like more work :). However, 8/10 I still enjoyed this game and would recommend anyone to play it!
.
Although I enjoyed many parts of this game, freaking Fox and Geese ruined it for me. You cannot pay me enough money to play Fox and Geese ever again. If you were torturing me and made me choose between being waterboarded or playing fox and geese I would pick being waterboarded EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.
Pretty fun aside from that though. If you just follow a guide for the dreaded Fox and Geese game it won't be too bad.
Very Good.
Fun adventure. Original story and puzzles. Liked the setting. Good game to replay.
Fun to play in the winter!
An old adventure click and point game. I was happy to re-visit my childhood memories of Nancy Drew.
I'm playing my way through all of the ND games, and I suspect most people reading this review are too, regardless of reviews! But here are my thoughts anyway.
this one sits in the high-middle for me. I enjoyed the setting and plot a lot, very traditional mystery feel all holed up in the lodge with bad weather outside! this was one of the games that I felt was really streamlined, I was able to get through over half of it without ever really stopping, but the last quarter of the game definitely had some head scratchers for me. I didn't mind the food making mechanic but I do agree it gets a little excessive having to do it 3x/day, and they do not give you ANY time at all to solve a certain timed puzzle, which was super frustrating! overall I enjoyed the game and appreciated the way they had the wolf's story end, just got bogged down by some frustrating puzzles that kept it from being on my truly great list
loved getting to hurl snowballs at a small child and never seeing her again for the rest of the game
While I enjoyed it, it is far from my favorite game. The lodge is very cute, and I enjoyed the chores and cooking tasks, like always. However, I felt that there were less puzzles than in other games, and the time system made trying to talk to certain people a little annoying. ALSO, I managed to soft-lock myself by not talking to Guadalupe on the first day. If you don't talk to her at the perfect time, she will disappear and you can't contact her to finish a certain puzzle, Not great. Also found the snow traveling to be cumbersome.
I liked this game a lot! Perfect winter game. Played it on Steamdeck (compatibility mode) which worked perfectly fine without any problems.
This is one that had the potential to be a really good ND game. However, the amount of time spent doing your "jobs" and the amount of time spent waiting around for certain characters to become available to talk to just isn't worth it in my opinion. This wasn't quite as bad as some of the ND games I've played, but you could definitely go without completing this one. There aren't quite enough ACTUAL puzzles in my opinion - too many tedious "tasks" and games that just simply took far too long to beat due to their being seemingly no strategy to them whatsoever. More time is spent sleeping to skip time forward to cook and then hope the characters you need to talk to are available than it is playing the actual story. In reality this game probably should've taken 4-5 hours to complete and it took me almost double that. The potential was there, but this definitely chalks up to being probably the most annoying of the ND games.
The White Wolf of Icicle Creek is the 16th game in the Nancy Drew franchise and it is one that came at an interesting time in the franchise's history. Following the release of Last Train, the 13th game, Her Interactive released Danger by Design and The Creature of Kapu Cave, both of which are generally regarded as two of the weaker entries in the franchise (I relatively enjoyed the former, really couldn't stand the latter). Following these two divisive entries, Her released White Wolf, which was then seen as an improved game over its predecessors (it was then followed by the equally positively received Legend of the Crystal Skull). In hindsight, White Wolf's reputation is a little bit more mixed, leaning towards the positive. This game has quite a few fans, but also some vocal detractors. As far as my own experience, I actually really enjoyed White Wolf and would recommend it, with a few caveats. It is a very flawed game and there are certainly better entries, but, much like The Captive Curse, I managed to enjoy the game despite its flaws.
First, the positives:
- The overall atmosphere of this game is wonderful and one of my favorites from the ND franchise. The lodge is beautifully detailed, yet weirdly isolating, adding to the air of mystery. It is wonderfully complimented by the surrounding mountains of snow and ice. You feel trapped while you're there, which is one of my favorite feelings in any kind of mystery story.
- I had quite a bit of fun snooping and exploring in this game, finding plenty of secrets and cool story beats hidden throughout the lodge and surrounding areas. The location and atmosphere really carry this game and, for me, elevate it a great deal.
- I quite enjoyed the mystery and story of this game, especially learning more about the titular white wolf and the history of each of our suspects.
- Music. As always, the music is great in these games and White Wolf contributes some lovely Native American inspired music in its soundtrack.
- Plenty of solid and fun puzzles with this one. I felt quite accomplished making my way through several of these. HOWEVER, there is a big caveat with this one, which I will discuss below.
- The Wolf is adorable and also a fascinating character in her own right.
- A minor and personal point, but because Last Train is my favorite Nancy Drew game, I was giddy to see that Tino Balducci was a phone contact in this one. Tino is certainly a prick, but I find him to be a lovable ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ who pairs well with Nancy, so having him as her "assistant" in this game, was a fun bonus.
Now for those caveats:
- The cast. They aren't as bad as Kapu Cave, but a lot of them are pretty rude to Nancy or are just kind of bland. Ollie is a grumpy old man, Yanni is a jerk. Kessler is from oop north, Lupe is haughty, and Louis is...there. There isn't much to them, though I found their individual motivations and backstories to be more interesting. However, Chantal might be Nancy's worst "boss" in any of the games, save for Minette from Danger by Design. She is whiny, annoying, rude, and just kind of an idiot. She makes Nancy work as her maid AND cook without pay, falls for Tino's detective act, whines constantly and pesters Nancy to hurry up and solve the case. She is the most unpleasant character in the game, more than the actual culprit. The Sheriff on the phone is also a lazy ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. The one off phone contacts are funny, though.
- While I liked the puzzles, TWO of them are an absolute pain: the ice floe puzzle and Fox and Geese. The latter of these is particularly infamous and considered the bane of this game and why several players can't stand it. Once I figured out the pattern, I didn't have too hard of a time with Fox and Geese, but the ICE FLOE puzzle was infuriating and easily one of the worst ND puzzles I've ever played. It's a shame because I think the other puzzles are quite good and fun. Those two, however, are particularly bad.
- Lastly, there are the chores. Because you are the maid and cook (for free, screw you Chantal), Nancy has to be sure to clean the rooms every morning and cook during meal times. If she misses too many, she's fired. Cleaning is quite easy and actively plays a role in the plot, but the cooking stuff is just kind of a distraction. I didn't hate it too much, but it felt more like padding than anything. Eventually, you don't have to cook anymore, and I honestly didn't mind it, but it might be something you find annoying.
- As a teeny tiny nitpick, having to snowball fight Freddie every time you wanted to pass was a little annoying, but her game is easy and fast. She also at least gives you a reward as well.
White Wolf has some distinct drawbacks, but I think the mystery itself, the atmosphere, the location, and MOST of the puzzles are what make it worth playing. While the cast is unremarkable, the chores are cumbersome, and those two specific puzzles are REALLY annoying, the rest of the game balances it out for me. I'd recommend this game to any ND or adventure/mystery fans, though I'd probably recommend other games before this one.
White Wolf gets a 7 out of 10.
i like the vibe and puzzles
I've had it. that stupid game of fox and geese just ruined it. the game was awesom up till that point. i've spent an entire months just on that point. There is no strategy. And i'm on the "easy" version of the game
