I played this game when I was a kid so I have an obvious bias for it, but objectively speaking this is a pretty good kids game with a banger OST, however the story is very lackluster compared to the movie.

The tractor tipping segments scared me more than any horror game has ever done, very anxiety-inducing for a kids game lmao. *insert spongebob rollercoaster gif here*

Um jogo maravilhoso, divertido, sofrido, ROUBADO, porém é algo que me entreteve durante 11 longas horas. Ultima vez que joguei esse jogo, foi na versão de Wii, porém acabei comprando para PC, porém alguns NPC's bugavam completamente (a ponto de sair do mapa da corrida), Missões que não colaboravam e que acabavam pedindo coisas absurdas de serem feitas, não posso reclamar da dificuldade que joguei o jogo por que eu platinei no Expert, mas é um jogo que vale muito a pena ao meu ver para uma história engraçada, explorar, correr contra Carros Monstros! (Até o Mike Wazouski e o Sullivan aparecem nesse bendito jogo)

I played the 2006 game back in the PS2 days but never this one its more like an expansion game than an actual full new game:

Pros:
+ driving physics are alright and a bit improved
+ alright story plays after the events of the 2006 game
+ tracks are fun to drive
+ even there are a lot of soundtracks only 6 they all are nice (fun fact alll the soundtracks are actual licensed music, kinda a wonder the game is still up for sale because of it)
+ a few game modes nothing special but nice like Race, Tank, Teamplay, monster truck waaypoint race and mini games like Tractor Tripping
+ open world is still there, smaller than the 2006 game but serviceable

Cons:
- the only unfun part i had with the game was the last Hook race it was pretty unfair on "Champion difficulty" bots are way to fast in the corners and also accelerate a bit to fast
- such a shame i dont find anything how to set up the draw distance way higher it looks aweful here way to low
- no widescreen resolution, without any fix you stuck at 720p
- the game changes your destop at startup because of an old 720p loading screen, its annyoing to always set the TV/Monitor back to normal
- its kinda the ps2 port with lower lighting, draw distance and textures (sadly there is no PS3 or xbox 360 mod that restore the better textures, lighting and draw distance)

For fans of the series or someone just like the first movie its worrth a playthought

Keybinds are awkward and while they can be rebound they don't feel natural or functional.
"Partial Controller Support" while true once again feels unnatural & unresponsive.
The game has to played in fullscreen with ALT+TAB causing window bugs.
Display resolution can be set to 720p but not 1080p.

Yep its Cars Mater-National alright, except the window bugging on you everytime you start the game, it not ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hooking up to your keyboard at all. Trust me I had to find a controller that actually ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ worked with this because my keyboard just WOULD NOT input the keys to do my ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ name in the beginning. Yep that good ol Disney releasing a game from their vault without ANY CURRENT YEAR OPTIMZATION. Not near as much to do as the first cars game, default controls are brainrot defintley rebind your controls in the main menu, although I did have my fun with this game, 7/10 loved this game as a kid on the ps2 and wii.

P.S: Fillmores Fuel Frenzy is the most lazy and boring content in either of the first 3 cars games.

A classic from my childhood, enhanced by the Super Drive mod made by other diligent and loving fans of these games.

Rainbow Studios does get one criticism from me: the minigames.

They range from gratingly easy with Fillmore's Fuel Frenzy Ghosting Mater, the Monster Truck Races, and Mike & Sulley's Last Laugh, to ridiculously stressful with Tractor Tipping and Doc & The Law's Race 'n' Chase, to absurdly difficult with Ramone's Rhythmic Rumble. How this managed to happen is beyond me.

хей, вот я очередной раз прошёл эту игру на 100% процентов, только теперь на лицензии пхаха это победа! замечательная игра, хорошие саунд, неплохая на своё время графика, интересны и порой бросающие вызов гонки. да, есть неприятные моменты. мини-игры не всем зашли (я смотрю на тебя, шугание тракторов), недопиленность и потерянный потенциал. но я всё равно буду продолжать любить эту игру). жаль что намёк на гонки в европе так и не сбылись, мне очень грустно(. благо вышла race-o-rama. и ещё недостатка, так это русская озвучка. голос молнии и некоторых других (не вспомню) не те, что были в мультфильме. лично меня это не раздражает, но понимаю тех, кому не зашло. в общем, играйте в то что вам, не взерая на других!)

There is a catch.

This port does not register analog controls, which means precise adjustments while driving is out the window as any turn, no matter how much you tilt the stick, is essentially always a full roll of the steering wheel with no in-between. This doesn't seem like a huge deal-breaker but when you take into consideration how much of a benevolent clusterf*** driving this game's dirt tracks is to begin with you'll start to regret not having proper controller support.

Credit where its due though, the game plays extremely smooth. You will lose a lot when cutscene audio desyncs or sounds go missing, but you get Steam Remote Play and... unrestricted access to all of the game's files.

I'd recommend the Xbox 360 version for the best (normal) experience, emulated or otherwise, but if you want to toy around defiling McQueen's paintjob, play with friends across the globe, or are deranged enough to speedrun this game, this port is for you.

-Lack of Steam achievements
-Forced to use a THIRD PARTY PATCH, due to the game NOT supporting widescreen displays.

Já quero começar essa análise falando que tive que baixar um "mod" que corrige a sensibilidade ao dirigir no controle, só nisso dai já perde uns 2 pontos na nota final.

Cars Mater-National é a sequência do primeiro jogo da franquia clássica, sendo eles: Cars: The Video Game, Cars Mater-National (esse da análise) e Cars: Race-O-Rama, que não tem para PC, o que é uma PENA, se não eu zeraria também!

Eu não vou enrolar muito aqui, muitas das coisas que falei na minha análise de Cars: The Videogame se aplicam aqui, com bastante melhorias, porém mesmo assim irei reforçar os pontos aqui.

[h3] Tem história ou não? [/h3]
A história se passa depois dos acontecimentos do primeiro jogo, é algo original e mais trabalhado, sem enrolação, vamos lá!

A história resumidamente consiste em que o McQueen quer construir uma pista de corrida em Radiator Springs, nisso, na divulgaçao deste projeto, Mate acaba se confundindo e nomeia a competição como MATER-National, acredito que seria McQueen ou Lighting-National, certo? Nisso, vários pilotos do mundo inteiro vêm para competir nessa pista e nessa competição que o McQueen está organizando, fazendo com que ao decorrer do jogo, possamos ver o crescimento e desenvolvimento do estádio, que ao final do jogo, estará 100% completo.

[h3] Principais melhorias e pontos importantes [/h3]
Um ponto que recebeu uma melhoria visível, foi a gameplay, pra jogar, tá uma [i] DELICINHA, [/i] os controles estão mais fluidos, e o McQueen parece menos "travadão", dá gosto de jogar esse jogo utilizando todas as habilidades!

Outro ponto a ser notado é que temos mais variações de minigames, fazendo com que o jogador tenha bastante opções pra se divertir, além de correr é claro. O esquema de adesivos foi uma sacada muito boa, mostra que estamos progredindo ao decorrer do jogo, pois, a cada minigame / etapa que concluímos ao longo do jogo, ganhamos um adesivo da Lizzy, incentivando ao jogador que ele complete todos os minigames e eventos, porém eu tenho uma crítica em relação a isso que será falado mais pra frente.

Por fim, eles adicionaram dicas! Diferente do primeiro jogo que eu vi muito jogador se "batendo" pra onde ir, o jogo aqui fala o tempo todo o que você deve fazer, não deixando que o jogador fique perdido, bem bacana!

[h3] Pontos negativos (tem muitos!) e críticas [/h3]
Pra começar, o mapa foi drasticamente reduzido, isso tem fatores bons e fatores ruins, fator bom é que o jogador não vai precisar se deslocar muito para acessar os eventos, e também os coletáveis se tornam mais fáceis, o fator ruim é que algumas partes do mapa que estavam presente no modo livre do primeiro jogo e era legal de se explorar, agora são apenas acessíveis em eventos e corridas, algo que na minha opinião, eu não achei legal.

O segundo ponto que quero destacar é que alguns minigames continuam sendo chatos e massantes, e minha principal revolta e que leva o título da análise...
[h1] A FASE 5 DO TRACTOR TIPPING DO MATE É MUITO MAL FEITO! [/h1]
Essa fase é muito mal programada, isso pra um jogo pra crianças, é muito complexo! Eu sinceramente odiei essa fase e odiei o minigame de dança do Ramon, mas esse eu relevo pois eu sou péssimo em jogos de dança. Essa fase me fez tomar ódio de colheitadeiras e tratores, [i]espero nunca mais ter que tombar tratores novamente...[/i]

E novamente, a dificuldade não mudou, mesmo no CHAMPION (modo mais difícil SEM cheats) as corridas continuaram bem tranquilas e só algumas que eu tive que reiniciar, padrão para um jogo infantil mas eles poderiam ter dificultado um pouco mais certo? Acredito que na dificuldade EXPERT isso mude, mas só testando para saber.

E por último, como foi dito lá em cima, eu fiquei decepcionado na questão dos adesivos, pois... (contém spoilers!) [spoiler] O McQueen não fica com os adesivos ao final do jogo, ele coloca eles em um mural em frente ao estádio, e isso ao meu ver foi meio decepcionante, pois eu gostava de jogar com ele adesivado, mostrava que eu estava progredindo no jogo! Claro que sim! Mesmo com todos esses defeitos, o jogo ainda continua muito bom, e como dito na outra análise, pra quem é fâ dessa franquia, vale muito a pena, como um jogo de corrida, pode ser meio fraco, mas para um jogo da franquia Carros, ele é um jogo bom.

Игра прикольная, графика лучше чем у тачек 2006 года что заманивает, появилось больше мини игр, режимов и разновидностей гонки, собирать покраски и колеса намного приятнее чем открытки из первой части так как с помощью них можно обновить макуина в игре, также стало больше гонок, различных персонажей и територия в ущелье щучий хвост и клаксоновая долина стали больше, но сам радиатор спрингс урезали дабы не нагружать игру

Como si de un portal hacia una nueva dimensión se tratase, este videojuego se erige como la cúspide de la experiencia interactiva, una obra inigualable cuyo refinamiento y pulido deslumbran al observador más exigente. Cada gráfico, cada textura, cada animación parece haber sido concebida no solo para deleitar los sentidos, sino para trastocar la misma esencia de lo que significa vivir, pensar y sentir en este vasto mundo digital.

La calidad de sus paisajes, que emergen ante mis ojos como auténticas maravillas visuales, no tiene parangón, y cada curva, cada carrera, es una sinfonía de emociones que me sumergen en un torbellino de euforia y concentración. Este videojuego, en su forma más pura, ha logrado despojarme de todo lo mundano, llevando mi mente y espíritu a un estado de paz y, a su vez, de constante fascinación. Ya no puedo concebir un día que no esté impregnado por la huella indeleble de Cars: Mater-National, como si su magia transformadora fuera la fuente misma de mi motivación diaria. Cada avance, cada rincón que exploro dentro de su universo, refuerza la idea de que este título no es solo un juego; es una obra filosófica, una lección de vida embebida en píxeles que redefine lo que significa ser parte de una experiencia interactiva.

A lo largo de los interminables circuitos que he recorrido, he sentido como el mismo tiempo se dilataba, como si estuviera suspendido en una burbuja donde el único propósito era disfrutar y aprender. Los personajes, tan entrañables y complejos, son ahora mis compañeros de viaje, figuras que trascienden su condición digital y se convierten en verdaderos maestros que guían mis pasos. Como si de una amistad inquebrantable se tratase, cada interacción dentro de Cars: Mater-National me ha dejado una marca indeleble en el alma, una huella que jamás desaparecerá.

En resumen, este videojuego ha sido mucho más que una simple distracción o una forma de entretenimiento; ha sido el catalizador de una profunda transformación interior. I know kid me would've been flippin' out over this game, it has everything you can ask for: Open world exploration of Radiator Springs, fun interactions with characters like the movie, the racing feels really good especially the drifting and it has alot more charm than most movie-based games. My only complaint is that I don't know why they removed the Piston Cup levels from this game, those were the best part of the og Cars 1 game, the game feels really lacking without them. A short but fun experience for enjoyers of the movie.

Side note: this game is stupidly easy (I know its a kids game but still) use cheat commands to unlock expert mode for an actual fun experience where the AI isn't braindead.

Игра неплохая, но ощущается как сиквелы диснеевских мультов на DVD, в которых был урезан бюджет, из-за чего качество и количество контента проседает, количество загрузочных экранов стало меньше, кат-сцен тоже, но добавили минимальну кастомизацию.
Нет 1080р разрешения, хотя первая часть имела его.
Игра норм, но первая лучше.

(накатите сюда мод Superdrive Edition и не покупайте первые тачки. Этот мод добавляет весь контент из первой части и другой игры по тачкам на этом же движке, которая даже не выходила на пк. Получается одна большая игра. А оригинал первых тачек идет тока в 30 фпс, а с модом на 60 становится невозможным прыжок)

Очередная игра, чьи 90% положительных обзоров построены лишь на ностальгии. Разработчики просто взяли оригинальную первую часть Тачек, которую обожали вообще все, и сделали какой-то халтурный спин-офф, чтобы срубить ещё денег. Первая часть не отходила от мульта и тем не менее развивала вселенную Тачек из-за чего ты ощущал себя буквально внутри неё. А тут что?

— управление такое, что либо ломай пальцы, либо бери геймпад;
— каждая гонка, не смотря на "разные" условия - это тупо проедь 3 круга;
— графику вроде прокачали, но про физику забыли;
— очень мало музыки, особенно в местах где она очень нужна;
— мини-игры отвратные и сделаны будто для галочки;
— открытый мир порезали, хотя исследовать его всё равно неинтересно;
— сюжет тут может и не прям плох, но каноном и не пахнет.

Я понимаю что те же самые претензии можно приписать и оригиналу, но опять-таки в нём это всё было впервые. Даже если что-то было сделано на слабом уровне, то это можно было оправдать отсутствием опыта у разработчиков. И даже так, в оригинале это всё ощущалось свежо и конкурентов у этого не было. Сиквел же не учёл вообще никаких пробелов и эта игра сплошной халтурный фансервис...

I tried to change controls on both controller and keyboard but neither of them changed. I have scrolled through hundreds of the guides to try and fix it, but no luck(original controls sucks i hate them). Just wanted to try everyone's childhood game but unfortunately, i couldn't have a try.

Used to play this on the Wii years ago as a kid. I had no idea they made a PC port to this game.

The nostalgia, even on an older, mostly forgotten game, is almost overwhelming.
