Atelier Ayesha: The Alchemist of Dusk DX es un [b]JRPG[/b] de fantasía con protagonista femenina donde el verdadero “poder legendario” no es una espada ancestral… es tu capacidad de [b]recolectar cosas del piso[/b] y convertirlas en algo útil sin preguntarte por qué llevas 38 hierbas, 12 minerales y un trauma emocional en la mochila.

La propuesta mezcla [b]exploración[/b], [b]combate por turnos[/b] y [b]fabricación/alquimia[/b] como núcleo. Si vienes buscando un festival de explosiones y testosterona, aquí te van a dar [i]ternura, mitos y leyendas[/i] y una vibra de “todo es bonito, pero el mundo se está apagando”. Y sí, suena dramático… hasta que estás farmeando ingredientes como si fuera trabajo de oficina.

Primera impresión: es colorido, adorable y emocional, con una historia que intenta pegarte donde duele, mientras tú estás pensando “ok, pero ¿qué receta desbloquea esto?”. Un rol japonés que te abraza con una mano y con la otra te pide que craftees 15 cosas antes de avanzar.

Atelier Ayesha: The Alchemist of Dusk DX es el tipo de JRPG que te hace decir “yo vengo por la historia” y terminas en una relación tóxica con la recolección y la fabricación. Es adorable, sí, pero también tiene una melancolía interesante y una narrativa que se toma en serio. Y cuando la música entra, hasta tus mandados alquímicos se sienten épicos.

Ahora, seamos controversiales: si odias el crafteo, aquí no te van a “convertir”, te van a [b]absorber[/b]. Y en PC, esa compatibilidad parcial con mando es el recordatorio de que a veces el verdadero jefe final es el menú.

Con 7 jugadores actuales, esto no es tendencia: es [i]culto[/i]. Pero con 487 recomendaciones totales, queda claro que quienes lo juegan suelen salir contentos… o al menos resignados y tarareando el soundtrack.

楽しい冒険に、クリアまでなら適度なやりごたえが味わえる
中々に面白い作品です

行方不明になった妹を探す手がかりを見つけたアーシャちゃんが、
世界中を巡って情報を集める物語

さて本作の特徴ですが、探索が非常に面白いです
各採取ポイントごとに、敵の撃破と採取回数のノルマが存在し
それを達成すると何らかのボーナスが入る仕様になっているので
採取や戦闘がやりがいがあります

またこれが、本作の分かりやすいゲームクリアへの目安になっていて
要するに、全採取ポイントでノルマをこなせば、ラスボスぐらい倒せる実力になるということです
アトリエシリーズは終盤の敵が強くて苦戦しがちだけど
本作はそういうこともなかったので、バランスは絶妙

仲間との関係性も素晴らしい
本作には日記システムというものが存在し
重要イベントを日記に書くと、アーシャがパワーアップします
この重要イベントというものは、好感度を上げた仲間とのイベントも当てはまるので
仲間の好感度を上げることが、アーシャを強くすることに繋がるという
よくできた仕組みになっています
野郎なんてパーティーに加えたくないけど、本作ではさすがに入れちゃうぜ

と本作、良い部分は素晴らしいんだけど、錬金がちょっとね……
はっきりいってわけ分からん。コストが増えたり減ったりスキルが増えたり変わったり
一体何が起きてるのやら
攻略サイトとか見て、ようやくシステムを理解したよ
まあ、クリアまでなら適当にやっても問題ないから気にするな！

あと、イベントの発生条件が分かりにくいんだよねぇ……
時間が進まないと発生しなかったり、特定メンバー同士組み合わせないと起きなかったり
時間制限のあるゲームで、こんなフラグ作るなよ……

時間制限に関しては、かなり緩い
初見で色々ともたついたプレイでも、半年ぐらいは余裕があった
時間制限でスルーしちゃう人も多いだろうけど、あんま気にする必要ないよ！
だって、採取ポイント制覇という目安があるから

と、総合的に非常に楽しめた作品でした
アトリエシリーズに興味がある人にお勧めな作品

It is unfortunate to see something as unique as Ayesha went somewhat off the radar by JRPG fans. It's certainly one of my top 3 Atelier games of all time and it's one of the best JRPGs I've ever played too. Everything about this game seems to have been made with passion from the team; from its music, stories and characters all the way up to gameplay. Most other Atelier games have very shallow plots and storylines but they actually managed to come up with something compelling in Ayesha. The plot is melancholic and deep but at the same time, the whimsical characters lighten the mood a little bit, and all this makes up for a perfect blend of engaging and impactful storytelling. All the characters are pretty well-written too and you don't usually get to see this in most modern Atelier games because only in Ayesha where every character gets the spotlight, unlike in other Atelier games where the main focus is put on the protagonist of each game.

Ayesha's synthesis can either be quite simple or complex, depending on how much you're willing to explore the synthesis system. Of course, you'll be rewarded with better items if you go the extra mile with the synthesis mechanic. I think that this is a good thing because it lowers the barrier of entry for people who are not familiar with Atelier synthesis but it also gives the option for more advanced players to craft the most broken items they can think of.

Resource and time management are also something that make this game unique. I haven't played Arland myself but I can tell that Ayesha definitely benefits from the time limit because you're forced to use materials and money sparingly and you'll have to decide in what order to complete the checklists in your notebook. These constraints somewhat tie in very well with the story, too. You'll get what I mean when you play it.

Despite the presence of time limit, I think you shouldn't be too concerned with it if you've never played an Atelier game and even more so if you've played them before because the amount of time provided to you is very generous and the game is not really that hard to begin with, so as long as you do all the objectives in the notebook you should be able to reach the main objective before the time limit. Even if you couldn't, the game doesn't really have a bad ending, so you can rest assured knowing that you won't be locked to a bad ending for your bad decisions.

For me, I think that Atelier Ayesha is the single most flawless Atelier experience to date. It might not be my favourite Atelier game but everything works so well in this game. The synthesis, story, characters, settings and combat are so meticulously crafted and consistent throughout the game that it's hard to point out the flaws. I think everyone and their dog should try and play this game. Don't let the presence of time limit discourage you from trying it because it is IMO among the best starting points in the franchise.
