Art of Murder - Cards of Destiny es una aventura de apuntar y clic con vibra de “detective de sofá” donde sigues a una protagonista femenina metiéndose en un misterio criminal con la delicadeza de un elefante en una escena del crimen. Tu trabajo: explorar escenarios, juntar pistas, resolver rompecabezas y armar la verdad mientras el juego te mira con cara de “sí, tú puedes… creo”.

La primera impresión es clara: esto es escuela clásica del género. Mucho investigar, mucho clic, mucho “¿por qué ese objeto era interactuable si parece parte del fondo?”. Si te gustan los misterios y el ritmo pausado de la aventura tradicional, aquí hay carnita… aunque servida en plato familiar y con cubiertos de otra época.

Art of Murder - Cards of Destiny es de esos juegos que te atrapan por el “quiero saber quién fue” más que por cómo te lo cuentan. Como aventura, cumple: investigar, recolectar pistas y avanzar en un misterio con sabor a novela policial. Pero también trae los vicios típicos del apuntar y clic: momentos de lógica cuestionable y una presentación que no siempre se siente moderna.

Lo controversial: el juego tiene 105 recomendaciones, así que claramente encontró su público… pero hoy está más solo que sospechoso sin coartada (0 jugadores actuales). Aun así, si tu placer culpable es resolver casos a base de clics y paciencia, aquí hay una experiencia competente, no brillante.

Meist ist es ja so, dass der erste Teil der beste ist und dann immer schlechtere folgen.
Hier merkt man aber mit jeden Teil, wie das Spiel besser wurde und die Entwickler dazugelernt haben.
Dialoge waren zwar teils echt lang, aber das Spiel machte trotzdem spaß.
Beim zweiten Teil fand ich ja das Ende unbefriedigend, hier aber ist es nicht einfach so abgehackt und ergibt einen Sinn.
Grafik hat sich verbessert, Sound und Vertonung ist wie immer gut, Spielzeit recht lange.
Klassische Adventurefreunde werden ihre Freude dran haben, vor allen die etwas älteren unter euch.

Le jeu semblait prometteur mais à la longue c'est devenu pénible: les associations d'objets sont très discutables, je n'accroche pas du tout aux énigmes alors que les décors sont bien réalisés et les dialogues très dynamiques.
J'en suis venue à devoir regarder la solution en ligne à certaines étapes parce que je ne trouve pas les puzzles logiques (enlever un clou avec une barre de portail mais pas avec le marteau qui a l'encoche pour le faire, vraiment?) et je suis bloquée au laboratoire car "il faut le remettre comme avant" mais quoi que je fasse (le laboratoire est remis en l'état), je reste bloquée dedans sans pouvoir en sortir. Après une recherche, c'est un bug connu et non résolu.
Les dialogues répétitifs avec les indices sont énervants à la longue (exemple: mettre un indice sous scellé).
Au début, le jeu semblait sympa mais là je n'y prends aucun plaisir.

[h1] Genre [/h1] Ein Klassisches Murder Mystery Detektiv Point & Click Adventure

[h1] Story [/h1] Wir spielen natürlich auch hier im Dritten Teil der Reihe wieder die junge FBI Agentin Nicole Bonnet und sind wieder einmal hinter einem Serienmörder her. Dieser hinterlässt an den Tatorten immer eine Spielkarte als seine Visitenkarte. Schnell wird uns bewusst das er mit diesen Spielkarten, uns in sein Tödliches Katz & Maus Spielchen direkt einplant. Können wir diesen Wahnsinnigen Mörder stoppen?

[h1] Gameplay [/h1] Wie auch in den beiden Vorgänger Spielen, sammeln wir wieder verschiedene Gegenstände, lösen ein paar doch recht zum Teil knifflige Rätsel und befragen verschiedene Personen. Ich musste des öfteren zu einem Guide greifen weil vieles hier unklar war. Zum Teil sind die Rätsel total kryptisch gehalten und man weiß gar nicht was man genau machen soll. Auch Gegenstände lassen sich nicht einfach finden, des öfteren gibt es Szenen wo man den Gegenstand nicht rumliegen sieht, weil dieser am Rand des Bildschirms liegt. Es gibt ein Tipp System bzw. man kann via Tastendruck die Hot Spots in der Szene Anzeigen lassen, dafür muss man am unteren Bildschirmrand auf das Fragezeichen klicken, dies habe ich aber erst nach guter der Hälfte des Spiels gefunden. Ich weiß gar nicht mehr ob es bei den Vorgänger Spielen auch da war. Die Deutschen Sprecher sind an sich ordentlich und es sind auch einige Bekannte dabei, zumindest hat man diese bereits in mehreren anderen Spielen gehört. Problem sind die Dialoge selbst, diese machen zum Großteil überhaupt keinen Sinn und man fragt sich ständig "Häh, was soll das". Die Atmosphäre ist wie auch bei den Vorgängern wieder sehr gut gelungen und die Musik ist passend. Auch die Story ist an sich wieder spannend

[h1] Fazit [/h1] Im allgemeinen ist auch der Dritte Teil der "Art of Murder" Reihe gut gelungen. Ich finde persönlich allerdings das es der schwächste Teil ist. Dialoge machen teilweise überhaupt keinen Sinn und einige der Rätsel sind unnötig kompliziert. Nichts desto Trotz kann ich das Spiel jedem Fan von Point & Click Adventures Empfehlen weil die Story ist wieder einmal gut gelungen & spannend

Potentially the worst point and click game I've ever played, and I have been playing them since the 80's. Terrible mechanics, dialogue is a joke, puzzles are vague and difficult to complete without a walkthrough because of lack of direction and the aforementioned mechanics. I finally gave up when I couldn't get past the map puzzle even with a walkthrough. Really sorry I purchased this one.

Fazit:
Art of Murder - Cards of Destiny (Die Kunst des Mordens - Karten des Schicksals) ist der dritte Teil der Point & Click - Reihe. Wieder einmal müssen wir als FBI-Agentin Nicol einen Fall lösen und reisen zu Orten in New York, Louisana und Maine.
Wie schon seine Vorgänger sind die Orte wundervoll ausgearbeitet und mit gut gelungenen Rätseln, welche manchmal unlogisch erscheinen, bestückt. Das ruhige und einfach Gameplay lässt einem im eigenen Tempo voranschreiten, was auch gut ist, da man wieder viele unnötige und lange Laufwege hat. Es muss erst durch z.B. ein Gespräch die Option freigeschalten werden bestimmte Objekte aufzuheben, obwohl es offensichtlich ist, das man diese braucht.
Die erzählte Story ist, vom Plot her, die spannendste im Vergleich zu den bisherigen Geschichten der Reihe. Getrübt wurde das Ganze jedoch von den Dialogen. Diese waren einfach schlecht. Entweder wirkten diese zusammenhangslos oder zeigten keinerlei Emotionen der Charaktere ("Oh Nein Typ X und Y sind tot... Ich habe jetzt Lust auf ein Eis!" - Nur Versinnbildlichung und keine Zeile aus dem Spiel). Allgemein war die Übersetzung ins Deutsche nicht wirklich gelungen, was wahrscheinlich zu dieser Zusammenhangslosigkeit geführt hat.
Trotz der großen Mängel wollte ich dennoch wissen wie die Geschichte ausgeht, da diese das Beste am Spiel ist. Empfehlenswert!!!!

It is a good adventure game, but a difficult one. If you miss the tiniest of details you are stuck. You think you tried everything but you missed one detail. Logic is not enough, combining items is not enough until you turn them around and try one more time. Can be very frustrating. So either be prepared to seek hints or spend a lot of time. My respect for anyone who can solve this one without any help.

Well... It's a great improvement over the second game.
Still there are some kinks but it's not a bad game.
The progress is very annoying.

Senza dubbio il capitolo più debole della serie (senza contare ovviamente quelli stile "hidden object games" perchè erano semplicemente scandalosi e inclassificabili.
Rispetto ai capitoli "FBI Confidential" e "Hunt for the Puppeteer" questo mi ha abbastanza deluso, i colpi di scena sono inesistenti, e la trama scorre davvero male inserendo ogni tanto personaggi ed eventi a caso.
Le ambientazioni non sono state niente di che a parte forse l'area nella palude in Louisiana.
I dialoghi poi li ho trovati pesanti, solitamente nelle avventure grafiche adoro consumare i dialoghi di ogni personaggio, scoprire cosa hanno da dire eccetera, ma qui erano davvero troppi troppi troppi troppi troppi troppi troppi troppi troppi troppi troppi troppi troppi troppi troppi dialoghi, lunghissimi e infiniti che non portano a nulla, sembra li abbiano scritti giusto per aggiungere più roba possibile, cosa che non succedeva nei capitoli citati all'inizio, non dico che è un brutto gioco ma confrontato con gli altri 2 (che consiglio) per me non regge proprio, verso metà gioco non vedevo già l'ora di finirlo per la noia.

Estamos en el tercer juego de la serie y la cosa ha mejorado un poco, pero sigue siendo insuficiente para recomendarlo. Visualmente está bien, pero tanto la historia como los personajes flojean mucho, especialmente la protagonista, que es de cartón. Los puzles son un poco más difíciles, pero no por mucho, y algunos los puedes resolver a base de prueba y error.

Art of Murder – Cards of Destiny" ist ein klassisches Point-and-Click-Adventure, in dem man in die Rolle der Ermittlerin Nicole Bennett schlüpft. Ziel ist es, durch das Untersuchen und Kombinieren von Gegenständen einen Serienkiller zur Strecke zu bringen.

Besonders hervorzuheben sind die atmosphärische Grafik, die stimmungsvolle Musik und die gelungenen Dialoge, die der Story eine dichte, spannende Atmosphäre verleihen. Die Rätsel gestalten sich teils fordernd, wirken allerdings nicht immer logisch durchdacht – einige davon konnte ich nur mithilfe einer Lösung knacken.

Insgesamt bietet das Spiel ein eher kurzes, aber unterhaltsames Erlebnis, das vor allem Fans klassischer Detektivgeschichten gefallen dürfte.

Bizarre, convoluted, nonsense story with plot-holes galore. Intensely insane and dislikeable protagonist. The puzzles are okay, except occasionally one relies on objects hidden at the edges of screens. Voice acting isn't very good, and the translation is obviously ESL.

My favorite moment is when the lady FBI agent breaks into a guy's cabin with no warrant, beats him up, cuffs him to a support beam, and interrogates him. She makes fun of his career, then he mentions a "black guy" he bought the cabin from. She corrects him "UH I THINK YOU MEAN AFRICAN AMERICAN." She then ends up letting the guy get killed. That's just how she rolls. She's an impulsive, stupid, gullible, "boss ♥♥♥♥♥♥" gal who don't need no man (except she constantly causes disastrous situations which her partners and bosses have to clean up) and she's supposed to be the hero we like.

No, she's just awful, and the stories she's in are gibberish nonsense filled with dream-logic and rube goldberg puzzles that would make Sierra blush.

I think this is the best of the trilogy, it was a fun investigation.

Finally, the FBI building is not completely dead, you got interrogations, too, a few suspects, and an interesting case with a decent ending.

Best of the Art of Murder series, Cards of Destiny got some really memorable places, like the trip to Louisiana. It has the mistakes known from the previous titles (interface, puzzles, translation, voice acting problems), but still it's a great adventure game, the player could feel her-/himself a real agent and I really liked the story.

These games are gems of the Point and click genera. I highly recommend you play the first 3 the verdict is still out on the last two as the original team I don't think return for those. Truly the trilogy is rich in story and content I did find I miss this graphics era of gaming since I feel it looks great, we get so much but do not need or really worry about our computers lack of space. 4GB is great compared to a game I recently play that had a similar style of game play but was 33GB because it "looked pretty". Sorry got to go comfort my PC.

Art of Murder: Karty Przeznaczenia" to trzecia część serii przygodówek, w której wcielasz się w agentkę FBI, Nicole Bonnet. Gra polega na rozwiązywaniu zagadek, zbieraniu przedmiotów i interakcji z postaciami, aby rozwiązać sprawę seryjnego mordercy zwanego "Karciarzem".

Zalety:

Ciekawa fabuła: Historia jest wciągająca i pełna zwrotów akcji.

Różnorodne zagadki: Trzeba trochę pogłówkować, ale to przyjemne wyzwania.

Ładna grafika i dźwięk: Gra jest dobrze wykonana i tworzy odpowiedni klimat.

Wady:

Zagadki mogą być zbyt łatwe: Dla doświadczonych graczy mogą wydawać się mało wymagające.

Powtarzalność: Po jakimś czasie gra może się znudzić, jeśli już grałeś w podobne tytuły.

Ultimo dei capitoli giocabili ed interessanti della serie, che secondo me doveva finire con questo.
Anche qui ci ritroviamo ad indagare nei panni dell'Agente FBI Nicole Bonnet. Sta volta c'è un piccolo omaggio a Dario Argento, con il Cartaio. C'è un pazzo serial killer che lascia una carta da gioco, là dove ha ucciso. Bonnet sarà coinvolta dallo stesso Serial Killer e tra un interrogatorio, un'analisi in laboratorio, una ricerca tra le prove raccolte durante l'avventura, enigmi, situazioni da risolvere facendo ricorso non solo alla nostra intelligenza, ma anche alla nostra pazienza, si arriverà alla fine con un misto tra il WOW è finito, ce l'abbiamo fatta e TANTI PERCHÉ. In ogni caso, rispetta le avventure precedenti. La modalità di gioco è simile. Mi ha ricordato in diversi punti Syberia ( i primi capitoli della serie... Non capisco che gli preda ai produttori di questi giochi... Perché devono cambiare qualcosa, quando funziona tutto perfettamente cosi com'era stato pensato il gioco. Entrambi i giochi vanno bene per i tre o due capitoli, poi si decide di cambiare totalmente e si rovina ogni cosa!). Avviso non prendete i capitoli successivi di Art of Murder perché sono inutili, in-giocabili, fatti male ed uno spreco di soldi!

Easily the best of the 3 games (well best of 5 really but we don't talk about the last 2 games)

The nonsense and trial and error puzzles don't feature as much as the second game although they are still there to a degree. The inventory based puzzles are actually really interesting and there are actually some hints this time around which was nice. I think the story is engaging too, leagues above the first two outings, has vibes of the bone collector that Denzel Washington film from 1999. The soundtrack is excellent and atmosphere is really tense at times, the hair on the back of my neck was standing up while investigating the theater. The design of the FBI building with all of the different rooms that you can explore and use throughout the game was super immersive, again so much better than the first and second game (the second game you don't even have jurisdiction let alone an FBI office to explore, it may as well have not been about an FBI agent at all.)

There are still some issues, one thing is when using the scanner the game takes these 10 second pauses after each scan attempt which may not seem much but it can get really frustrating when you have to repeat the scan several times (the scans are one example of the still present trial and error.) Also when logging into the scanner you have to press enter on the keyboard. The game is fully playable with the mouse apart from this single aspect.

The main issue I experienced and its a pretty major one is that sometimes when combining the right items the character will actually initially reject the combination but if you try it again it works. I don't know if its some kind of lag where is doesn't detect your holding the right item or a mouse tracking issue so it doesn't target the hit point exactly right or maybe even potentially there is some terrible time based factor to some puzzles. Maybe its all 3 reasons at different times but regardless I'm positive that on occasion I was initially told incorrectly that I had the wrong combination. It cost me an hour in the amusement park as I was told initially [spoiler] I couldn't extract the nail with the rail pin[/spoiler] Eventually you get wise to the issue and start checking each combination a couple of times.

In conclusion, it retains some of the same problems and jankyness as the other games but its a significant improvement overall.

Wo ich Teil 1 der Serie recht gut und Teil 2 etwas durchwachsen fand hatte ich bei diesem Teil am wenigsten Spaß

- Dusselige und umständliche Rätsel (Nagel in Holz lässt sich nur mit einer Stange entfernen, nicht aber mit einem Hammer?) und sinnlose Aufgabenstreckung (Scanner auf, Item Rein, Scanner zu, Scannen, Scanner Auf, Item Drehen, Scanner zu...)

- Unfaire Minispiele (Todes-Hopsen mit Krokodilen, Laser-Bomben)

- Schlechte Kommunikation (Statt "Es ist zu hoch" sagt die Heldin nur "Das geht nicht") und Wenn man Objekt A mit Objekt B verwendet passiert nichts.... PROBIERT MAN ABER OBJEKT B auf Objekt A klappt es plötzlich. Solche Spiele-Schwächen nehmen viel Spaß und führen zu Frust.

Letztendlich deutlich unsympatischer als die Vorgänger

Nettes Point n Click Adventure, zu einem sehr kleinen Preis.
ABER: Manche Rätzel sind schon sehr umständlich und unlogisch Beispiel gefällig?

Ich kann das Küchenpapier nicht mit dem Glasreiniger im Inventar kombinieren. ICH MUSS den Glasreiniger mit dem Papier anklicken! Oder man findet eine Flasche Öl (die scheinbar leer ist, keiner sagt das aber und man denkt die ist voll). Der Barkeeper füllt die Flasche aber erst, wenn man zwischendrinen noch was anderes gemacht hat (die zeitliche Abfolge ist teils komisch)

Dennoch kann man das Spiel gerne kaufen und spielen, trotz dieser Momente, wo man sich mit der Hand an die Stirn fasst. Für zwischendurch und wenn man sonst die meisten Point n Clicks schon durch hat, ist es eine Abwechslung.
Es gibt auch Zwischensequenzen und die Szenen sind nett gezeichnet. Deutsche Sprachqualität ist ok.

Man braucht Geduld und gelegentlich die Komplettlösung, da (zumindest mir) zu wenig Hinweise an manchen Stellen gegeben werden).

The game is ok, but nothing more. The (german) voice acting was probably recorded during the first test reading. I can't explain the complete lack of emotion and the monotony in the voices any other way.

The puzzles are challenging. Sometimes, however, they are a bit too difficult to guess. Also, it is often a problem that clicks have to be made very precisely, which sometimes leads to false negative feedback. (For example, if a cigarette is to be lit and the match is not drawn exactly to the tip of the cigarette, a "That won't work" is given).

In my opinion, the story is the biggest plus point. The plot remains exciting and is only resolved towards the end of the game.

Long story short -> If you like point and click and can live with the drawbacks, play the game. All others probably have better games in their library they should turn to.

Nettes Rätselspiel. Man muss die Morde aufklären und hat dafür viele verschiedene Locations zum ermitteln. Mitunter sogar spannend. Die Rätsel reichen von einfach bis hin zu kniffelig. Wichtig ist....nicht aufgeben.
In meinen Augen nicht ganz logisch zu jeder Zeit nachvollziehbar aber doch noch ok.

[b] Die Geschichte: [/b]
Zum dritten Mal jagt die FBI-Agentin Nicole Bonnet einen Serienmörder. Diesmal einen Psychopathen, der ein Spiel mit der Agentin spielen möchte. Er liefert Nicole gezielt Hinweise und Informationen, er hinterlässt sozusagen Brotkrumen denen Nicole folgen muss. Sie folgt diesen Spuren quer durch die USA. Als Visitenkarte hinterlässt der Mörder an seinen Tatorten Spielkarten. Was verbindet die Opfer miteinander und was ist das Motiv des Serienkillers dieses blutige Spiel zu spielen? Wird aus der Jägerin eine Gejagte? Der Killer ist immer einen Schritt voraus. Schafft es die Agentin weitere Opfer zu vermeiden und somit Leben zu retten?

Vielleicht ist das sogar die spannendste und beste Serienmörderhatz mit Nicole, dennoch hat die Story auch ihre Schwächen. Die Story-Twists bzw. das Aussieben der falschen Verdächtigen hat bei mir wenig Überraschungen und “Ah-ha Effekte” ausgelöst. Das eigentliche Motiv des Killers bzw. sein Charakter ist nicht sonderlich gut ausgearbeitet und blieb mir verborgen. Ebenso wenig geht seine Beziehung zu Nicole in die Tiefe. Hier wird Potential liegen gelassen, es scheint so als würde es hier um ein persönliches “Kartenspiel” zwischen dem Serienkiller und Nicole handeln. Eine wirklich persönliche Verbindung und warum Nicole dieses Spiel spielen muss, diese Hintergründe werden meines Erachtens nicht zufriedenstellend aufgelöst. Die Wahl des Psychopathen Nicole als erfolgreiche Serienmörder-Ermittlerin als Gegenspielerin zu wählen, wirkt auf mich einfach zu belanglos. Vielleicht habe ich auch den “Ah-ha Effekt” einfach verpasst und nicht mitbekommen, sofern es diesen denn doch gibt. Daher kam für mich keine Atmosphäre und Tiefe auf, so wie man sie z.B. vom Film “Sieben” kennt.

[b] Grafik / Ton / Rätsel: [/b]
Die Grafik bewegt sich auf dem Niveau der Vorgängerteile. Die Szenenbilder vermitteln eine düstere Serienkillerjagt. Visuell hat mir der Spielabschnitt in Louisiana am besten gefallen. Für ein Adventure aus dem Jahr 2010 ist die Grafik völlig in Ordnung.

Die deutsche Sprachausgabe ist solide, hat aber die gleichen Schwächen wie alle anderen Adventures von City Interactive. Die Dialoge und Betonungen wirken nicht immer natürlich und passend.

Hier müssen durchschnittliche Aufgaben und Rätsel gelöst werden, die weder übertrieben positiv, noch negativ herausstechen. Manche Logik oder Hinweise konnte ich aber nicht wirklich nachvollziehen, wie z.B. das Finden eines bestimmten Sitzes in einem Kinosaal. Daher habe ich manchmal in einer Komplettlösung nachgeschlagen, da ich das Lösen mancher Rätsel sogar als etwas nervig empfunden hatte.

[b] Der Entwickler “City Interactiv”: [/b]
City Interactive ist ein polnisches Entwicklerstudio, welches zwischen 2008 und 2010 mindestens fünf Adventure-Spiele veröffentlichte. “Die Kunst des Mordens-Reihe" und die “Das Vermächtnis-Reihe”. Hier wurde ganz offensichtlich auf Quantität gesetzt und nicht auf Qualität. Es wurden Adventure-Spiele wie am Fließband und nach Schema-F produziert.

Eigentlich schade, denn man muss City Interactive grundsätzlich attestieren, dass sie dazu befähigt sind bzw. waren brauchbare Adventure-Spiele zu produzieren. Hätte man in derselben Entwicklungszeit vielleicht nur 2 oder 3 Spiele entwickelt, bei diesen aber einen stärkeren Fokus auf wirklich gut ausgearbeitete Geschichten und Charaktere gelegt und sich beim Rätseldesigne noch etwas kreativer und bemühter gezeigt, dann würden wir wahrscheinlich nicht über Mittelklasse-Adventures, sondern vielleicht über Top-Adventures reden. So bewegen sich die Spiele nicht auf Augenhöhe mit der “Geheimakte-Reihe” oder “Still Life”.

Danach wurden nur noch Wimmelbildspiele im Namen der “Die Kunst des Mordens-Reihe" und die “Das Vermächtnis-Reihe” veröffentlicht, die man sich wohl aber getrost schenken kann, wenn man dazu mal einige Reviews quer liest.

Falls City Interactiv jemals nochmal ein klassisches Point & Click Adventure entwickeln sollte, sollten sie sich bitte mehr Zeit nehmen um ein wirklich gutes Spiel zu veröffentlichen.

Vielleicht ist "Karten des Schicksals” das beste Adventure von City Interactive, aber es ist kein makelloses Adventure.

Najlepsza z dotychczasowych odsłon, zarówno fabularnie jak i pod względem zagadek. Jest w niej więcej dialogów co pozwala bardziej wczuć się w historię, która nie jest tak łatwa do przewidzenia jak w poprzednich częściach i posiada sporo zwrotów akcji i niespodziewanych momentów. Zagadki wydają się bardziej logiczne i mniej jest backtrackingu w obrębie tych samych lokacji niż w poprzednich częściach. Chociaż występują momenty gdzie można się zaciąć, gdyż samo używanie przedmiotów w menu nie jest intuicyjne. Wprowadzono także więcej misji rozgrywających się w siedzibie FBI i możemy się poczuć jak Sherlock Holmes przy swoim laboratorium.

There were aspects of this game that were enjoyable: Graphics were decent and the story line was interesting with some twists and turns. It also was not expensive. However, I found some of the puzzles to be overly complex and frustrating. The only way I could solve them was through the use of a walkthrough. I think it says something when the game's publisher has a walkthrough posted on the web. I also found the dialogue to be much like the other games in this series: stiff, unrealistic. It may have been due to the English translation but much of it was laughable and I don't think it was intended to be humorous. Maybe this isn't a critical factor for this type of game but it really got to me after a while.

Сюжет по началу был достаточно интригующим, но конец как-то всрали, но мой скромный взгляд.
Главное героиня временами выбешивала своей впертостью и логикой действий.
Головоломки не были сложными, но вот это " кликну то на то....а нет ты не то на то шо надо кликнул..." после 20 минут я думала, что к херам удалю игру.
Но в целом, усьо отлично.

i did not complete this game, infact do not play this if you are easily distracted, and you should probably take a note on what your needing to do for your next steps if you need to save it and reload game the next time you play it.

i love puzzle games, i love crime games but i got bored with this one, i really was hoping itd have a bit more of a flow to it, but it got tedious.

as soon as i have to look up a walkthrough for ANY game i kinda think is it worth it, it just didnt have a good flow to it at all.

so you start of in the girls apartment, im a searcher so i look at everything and collect everything that can be collected, but after you leave that door it just becomes a bit meh i guess and that padlock is not easy to see on the bathroom window.

Der Titel ist der dritte (wenn man vom Wimmelbildableger absieht) in der Reihe Art of Murder (Die Kunst des Mordens) und stammt aus dem Jahr 2010.

Die junge Agentin Nicole Bonnet erhält ein mysteriöses Paket an ihre Privatadresse. Damit beginnt ein Katz- und Mausspiel mit einem Serienkiller, der Spielkarten an den Schauplätzen seiner "kunstvoll" (überkompliziert) inszenierten Morde hinterlässt.

Ihr neuer Partner ist keine große Hilfe und so lässt sie sich wieder überwiegend allein auf die Sache ein, die diesmal nur in den USA spielt.

Wie immer ist sie schlecht ausgerüstet und muss oft improvisieren, das Gesetz und Vorschriften umgehen und was sonst noch alles zur Arbeit einer engagierten FBI-Mitarbeiterin dazu gehört.

Auffallend sind die extensiven Dialoge, teils OK, teils übel (z.B. sexistisch).

Schön (wenn auch konstruiert) war es, dass es viele falsche Fährten gibt, wer denn nun der Serienmörder ist.

Insgesamt ist die Story die eines B-Movies, also halbwegs spannend auch wenn da so einiges den logischen Verstand strapaziert.

[b]Gameplay[/b]

Während die Geschichte also eher leichte Unterhaltung ist, sind die Aufgaben unterschiedlich schwer. Wie immer muss sie als schlecht ausgestattete Agentin vor Ort improvisieren (eine Taschenlampe hat sie bspw. bis heute nicht), zurückgekommen ist auch etwas Laborarbeit, soweit sie nicht von dem sie sexuell belästigenden Cheflaborant übernommen wird.

Aber gerade die Rätsel im Labor haben sie entsetzlich verbockt. Sie sind stupide und meist nur Versuch und Irrtum.

Andere Rätsel sind typisch für P&C-Spiele, von einfach bis superschwer ist da alles vertreten. Einen Guide habe ich doch häufig benötigt, weil mir manche zum Lösen erforderliche Gedankengänge zu hoch waren.

Insgesamt hat mir das Gameplay eher nicht gefallen.

Der Sound ist recht gut. Die Sprecher sind auf Deutsch.

I wasn't really sure how to rate this, but overall, I don't think I'd recommend it, for only one reason.

Gameplay was fine, graphics were good, puzzles were a little unbalanced (some too easy, some only solvable with save-scumming), which made the pacing a little awkward.

My one true problem with the story was the main character was a... something I'm not going to say where children might read it. I think they were going for strong-capable/lone-wolf or something... but it came off more of a total-mother-of-puppies. She was rude to her partner, even cussing him out at one point (he wasn't exactly congenial, but at least he could keep his temper), condescending to... basically everyone, openly belligerent on multiple occasions in the game, and seemed to have no problem breaking laws herself, all in the name of "I've got work to do".

That being said, I did finish the game, but I won't be going back to look for any other titles in this series. No problem playing other titles by the same developer/publisher, but... need a main character who is very slightly more than COMPLETELY unlikable. If you like this style game and don't mind a main character who comes across as hating everyone and everything, even Louisiana (seriously? How?), maybe it'll be okay for you if you find it on sale, but you've been warned - she's pretty awful.

Last true sequel of Art of Murder FBI Confidential and Art of Murder Hunt for Puppeteer. A must have if you like FBI Confidential. Plays like Syberia series. The only rush sequence is the Laser Bomb in Power Plant. No crazy hard puzzle like the Slider Puzzle in number Hunt for Puppeteer. Calm relaxing mystery solver adventurer game.

COMPATIBILITY
This game works with Windows 10 and modern computers way better than the other Art of Murder games. NO crashing issue what so ever. Using Intel UHD 630 and Nvidia 1050ti dual graphic. Has no problem running on Modern Intel graphics card.

Argh, I gave a positive recommendation at first but I must turn it to negative because of how extremely irritating Cards of Destiny becomes. At first sight it is a more polished version of the previous games, with a more ambitious plot and more interesting settings, and even some genuinely creepy moments as the one in the cinema, but there are several points that makes it unbearable, and those appear with more frequency towards the second half.

The puzzles are mean and unfair. It is not that they are too complicated, but they demand backtracking. Some objects cannot be interacted with until some unrelated action happens. There are NO CLUES whatsoever in the game, so any incremental object combination puzzle is done via trial and error - the only answers you will ever have is "nothing doing" "yeah right" and "not gonna happen". Also, the objects must be combined in a specific order: using tape with scissors is "nothing doing" but scissors with tape works. WHY. GOD ALMIGHTY WHY.

So there you are, in a game that makes you go through all the previous screens when some conversation happens just in case you can see or take or examine something that wasn't available before that conversation. Without any clue on when a phone call is needed or when the game is going to trigger an action for a phone call by itself when you walk to a random screen (which is the trigger point needed for being able to look at some objects or interacting with others). With no coherence, no consistency. It is a mean game all along, hating its main character, hating all the rest of the characters, giving you sudden deaths with no shame, like a game done by designers wanting to sh*t on the whole point n click adventure genre making a decent story a chore to play with bad writing, bad characterisation, bad design, bad puzzles and annoying use of environments, which turns a generous length into a painful experience. Avoid. Or play with a walkthrough.

EDIT: must add that the voice acting is awful as well, not matching the tone of what the game is telling, that the way it is designed the main character is absolutely useless as an FBI agent and that... it is almost a pity that a good work on graphics, videos and above it all music is wasted on this mess.

Beautiful graphics, mostly fair puzzles, thrilling soundtrack, characters and dialogues a bit under-developed, but a story which increased in tempo and tension and made you want to play to the end (an ending which itself was a bit weird, but nevermind). Liked especially the idea to regularly switch locations between the FBI central, where part of the game plays, to outside areas where the victims had to be rescued from deadly traps. Gives the whole 'being an FBI agent' an additional kick.

Art of Murder - Cards od Destiny to tradycyjna przygodówka w stylu "wskaż i kliknij". Cała historia przedstawiona w grze kręci się wokoło jednej sprawy którą wraz z zespołem musi rozwikłać Nicole Bonnet, agentka FBI. Ogólny zarys fabuły jest pełen oczywistych zwrotów akcji i oklepanych schematów zatem nadaje się idealnie na scenariusz typowego telewizyjnego thrillera ale co za tym idzie, podczas rozgrywki nieraz przyjdzie Nam złapać się za głowę czy skomentować poniżający wręcz poziom inteligencji protagonistki. Poza blokadą wstrzymującą Nas od wymaganego a wielce nierozważnego działania występują tu niestety również blokady wynikające z ustalonej kolejności wykonywanych czynności. Choć wiele razy zdobywamy przedmioty i dostęp do pewnych miejsc to wykorzystania ich możemy doczekać dopiero po zaistnieniu zupełnie niezwiązanych innych zdarzeń. Ostatnią dotykającą fabuły bolączką jest nagminne pozbywanie się wykorzystanych przedmiotów które w rzeczywistości pomogłyby w znacznie większym zakresie niż przewidzieli to Twórcy.

Samo zbieranie i "łączenie" przedmiotów jest tu rozwiązane najprościej jak się da czyli jak widzisz coś to podnoś, nieważne że jest większe od Ciebie, ważne że zmieści się do kieszeni. I faktycznie Twórcy postarali się o to byśmy nie musieli się nad tym zastanawiać bo bohaterka sama wyjaśnia co robi z podniesionymi przedmiotami https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2455197596 Choć przedmioty to podstawa tego typu rozrywki to kolejny raz w tej kwestii brakuje rozsądnego podejścia. Nieraz znajdziemy się w sytuacji w której choć wiadomo co trzeba zrobić to oczywisty do tego przedmiot będzie nie tym czego bohaterka potrzebuje za to przedmiot zupełnie nieoczywisty jest kluczem ku osiągnięciu właściwego rezultatu. Inna sprawa że taki telefon to praktycznie tylko instrument fabularny który wykorzystywany jest zupełnie automatycznie choć teoretycznie pozwala on nam na swobodę w kontakcie ze znajomymi (jakimś niewyjaśnionym powodem sami nigdy nie możemy się do nikogo dodzwonić). Słabo wygląda również interakcja z innymi aktorami tego spektaklu. Tu niema dowolności, jeżeli jakiś przedmiot chcesz komuś przekazać to musisz rozpocząć rozmowę, niema możliwości "użycia" takiego przedmiotu na postaciach niezależnych i podobnie jest podczas kombinowania bo rzecz(A) z rzeczą(B) możesz połączyć ale rzecz(B) z rzeczą(A) już nie zawsze. Takie ograniczenia bardzo męczą. Jest jednak jedna kwestia, która wymaga pochwały. Twórcy potrafią zachować spójność świata który kreują i agentka posługując się dowodami musi zachowywać pewne procedury. Czy to skanowanie dowodów czy logowanie się do systemu mamy ściśle określone kroki które powtarzamy za każdym razem. I choć samo zakładanie rękawiczek by operować dowodami jest bardzo dobrym zabiegiem to już komentowanie każdego dotknięcia torebek na dowody tym samym tekstem szybko zaczyna drażnić.
[b]Gdzie jest Wally?[/b]
Na szczęście Twórcy wykazali się minimum wyobraźni i zamiast monotonnego klikania dostajemy również od czasu do czasu akcje wymagające manipulacji przedmiotami. Czy to korba czy joystick mamy możliwość kilka razy głębiej zanurzyć się w wykonywanych czynnościach, to cieszy. Martwi jednak brak odpowiednio opracowanej koncepcji punktów interakcji. Choć sam kursor skutecznie wskazuje możliwości Naszej interakcji a sceny są wykonane starannie i szczegółowo to nieraz przedmioty niemal zlewają z tłem i trudno wszystko znaleźć bez korzystania z pomocy podświetlania a i te nie zawsze widać. Najgorsze jest jednak to że takie punkty występują w bezpośrednim sąsiedztwie z Naszym menu ekwipunku który wysuwa się za każdym razem gdy celujemy w dolny punkt interakcji. Sama oprawa graficzna jest w porządku choć różnice pomiędzy tłem a postaciami są zbyt wyraźne. Podobnie jeżeli chodzi o animacje postaci które są po prostu bardzo sztywne.
[b]Człowiek-zagadka[/b]
Sam poziom przedstawionych wyzwań jest niski ale nie przez brak finezji, co to to nie. Same w sobie są niemal spełnieniem marzeń bo prezentują naprawdę spory zakres różnych rebusów. Problem w tym że brakuje w nich logiki, elementu który jednoznacznie określa dany problem. Występują również takie które choć z punktu widzenia gracza można rozegrać metodą prób i błędów to z punktu widzenia Naszej agentki już prowadzą do śmierci a tak być nie powinno! Są też takie momenty w których brakuje po prostu instrukcji opisującej ogólnie dane zagadnienie co prowadzi do rozwiązywania danego problemu w efekcie szczęśliwego trafu zamiast zamierzonego działania. Bardzo dobrym przykładem bezmyślności jest np. analiza karty, polega ona na wybraniu maksymalnie 3 punktów które komputer przetworzy zwracając Nam odpowiedni wynik. Bezmyślność polega tu na tym że po pierwsze moim zdaniem wybrane przez Twórców punkty nie były najbardziej charakterystycznymi a do tego argumentem na ograniczenie ilości punktów wcale niebyła ograniczona moc obliczeniowa maszyny a brak cierpliwości pani Bonnet do czekania na wynik, przy większej ilości punktów analiza trwać miałaby dłużej (kolejny błąd logiczny). Ale czy faktycznie pojedyncze oczekiwanie na taki wynik byłoby dłuższe niż osiągnięcie wymaganego rezultatu po serii kilkunastu niepowodzeń w doborze właściwej kombinacji?!
[b]Spoiler, czyli element poprawiający aerodynamikę[/b]
Mam wiele pytań do Twórców na temat dlaczego "to" trzeba "tak". Problemy z pokonywaniem pewnych etapów spowodowały że czas - tej wątpliwej już na tych etapach - zabawy znacznie się wydłużył. Raz było to niesygnalizowane wykonanie działania które następnym razem przy podobnym zabiegu wymagało dodatkowej akcji. [spoiler]Wyjście z teatru wymagało użycia metalowego elementu ale po tej akcji pani nie wyszła sama a przedmiot nie "zużył się" stąd błądziłem w poszukiwaniu innej drogi ucieczki zanim po prostu nacisnąłem ponownie na drzwi. Inne drzwi w latarni które wymagały kija i ucha od wiadra trzeba było zahaczyć, pociągnąć raz i drugi raz aż kij zniknął, ja natomiast już po pierwszym pociągnięciu i wyraźnej zmianie "klamki" uznałem że drzwi zostały otwarte[/spoiler]. Inny moment w którym Twórcy odlecieli to analiza biletu czyli metoda prób i błędów nieoparta o nic. Czy da się to logicznie wyjaśnić?[spoiler]Dlaczego drugi od dołu?[/spoiler] Ostatnia przedstawiona tutaj to zagadka z kodem do lodówki. [spoiler]Ustawiając kolejno klucze w skrzynce otrzymujemy dwie strzałki wskazujące na numer 14 i to jest super. Ale co z resztą? Brakuje nam klucza numer 16 (który mógłby mieć strzałkę). Czemu mamy brać numery prosto spod strzałek i dlaczego po kolei? Jaki jest "klucz" tej zagadki? Czemu nie jest to spójne? [/spoiler] Dobrze że po ponownym odwiedzeniu tej zagadki pani z FBI sama podaje rozwiązanie, tylko czy samo to nie wskazuje na to że Twórcy za bardzo bujali w obłokach kombinując z tym kodem, że niebyli pewni swojego rozwiązania?
[b]FBI, ręce do góry![/b]
Choć bardzo chciałbym polecić tą grę bo zawiera mnóstwo dobrych pomysłów to niestety realizacja, pokrętna logika i historia zakończona chyba najgorzej jak można nie zasługuje na to. Ja się po prostu poddaję.

Me parece una aventura gráfica bastante mala y mal ejecutada.

Empezando por los diálogos, donde apenas tienes incidencia y simplemente, tienes que ir haciendo clic, a menudo en una única opción (para eso, no podría haber sido automático?), muchos de ellos totalmente irrelevantes o hablando de tonterías que no van a ningún sitio ([spoiler]¿ese diálogo con el escritor en la cabaña a qué viene?[/spoiler]). Además, las traducciones están mal hecha y a veces lo que aparece en los subtítulos no es lo que están diciendo.

Lo siguiente son los puzzles, que no tienen un término medio...o son tan fáciles que no merece ni llamarse puzzles, o son directamente "imposibles" porque no hay nada que te indique cómo resolverlos en el juego y es casi más un ensayo/error, lo cual suele ser muy irritante. Pasa lo mismo con el encontrar objetos; acabas teniendo que usar continuamente la ayuda para encontrar objetos porque entre la escasa iluminación (recomiendo subir el gamma del juego, porque una cosa es intentar hacerlo oscuro para dar atmósfera y otra que al final nada destaque sobre nada) y los gráficos, a veces puedes estar encima mismo de un objeto y apenas notarlo. Las combinaciones con el inventario es habitual que acabes intentando prueba y error porque no son muy intuitivas. Y un inventario incómodo y nada intuitivo. Ahm, por no hablar del móvil...¿de qué sirve incorporar un elemento el cual no puedes usar (sólo para recibir llamadas, siempre que llamas tú, comunican todos)? Sí, puedes leer notas del caso, pero no aporta un elemento diferenciador (en el primero le daban algo más de juego).
También destacable como a veces una simple acción te bloquea una conversación u otra acción, pero a veces hasta un punto que no tiene sentido. No hace falta que la aventura sea abierta, pero es que a veces la linealidad de la misma es absurda y te saca muchísimo del argumento (no hablamos de que haga falta encender una luz para ver algo más en detalle, hablamos de tener que revisar un objeto en concreto muy perdido para poder hablar con algún tipo sobre otra cosa totalmente diferente que tú has adivinado ya mucho antes).

Y llegamos a, lo que para mí, es lo peor, el argumento, que en el caso de una aventura gráfica, es determinantes. [spoiler] No creo que tenga ningún sentido la historia, no hay por dónde cogerla y no es nada creíbles. El asesino habla de que todo gira en torno a Nicole cuando los asesinatos comenzaron mucho antes y sin que ella tuviera nada que ver. Y las explicaciones finales no vienen a aclarar ese punto ni remotamente. Igualmente poco creíble es que, una vez más, dentro del FBI, de la misma unidad de la protagonista, vuelva a haber un culpable/cómplice del caso, ¿en serio? Es la típica aventura que su manera de hacerla "interesante" o parecer que le dan profundidad es creando una historia que no tiene sentido, llevándote en una dirección para a continuación darle un giro de 180º y que así parezca sorprendente...cuando la realidad es que el argumento no se sostiene de ninguna forma. Lo cual nos lleva al final...un final que no explica nada (¿cómo podría, si no tiene sentido?), pilladísimo por los pelos y que te deja una sensación muy, muy fría. Ah, y toda la subtrama con el compañero es muy absurda...¿llevas acumulando pistas sobre él media hora y aún le haces preguntas como si nada pasara? ¿De repente una persecución absurda que acaba con su muerte porque sí?Plot twist fordazo, no, lo siguiente...[/spoiler]

En definitiva, una mala aventura, con un argumento con poco sentido y poco creíble, personajes muy planos con los que es difícil empatizar, unos gráficos mal implementados que no están al "servicio" del juego y un sistema de puzzles por momentos confuso y poco intuitivo. Aventura muy "pasable", de esas que parecen echas con la "máquina de churros de hacer aventuras" y de la que puedes prescindir perfectamente.

I wanted to enjoy this game. At times I really was enjoying it. The pacing isn't as good as the previous game (Hunt for the Puppeteer). The new features were interesting but in the end mostly pointless. The puzzles at times had moon logic, but that isn't a huge problem for me. I ran into some personal confusion with the set up of one of the end game puzzles. Even though I was able to figure it out eventually after looking up a video walkthrough, I was very annoyed. I ended up finishing the game and the ending is so boring. The culprit just monologues and then you win. No epilogue cutscene or explanation of what happens next. I think I got fire? Or I quit? I don't know. Nicole deserved a proper ending.

[h1] The Killer! You forgot the killer!!! [/h1]
Help, nothing makes more sense than starting a series on its third installment, right?
Well, as it turns out, it wasn't that much of a problem. The good folk at CI did dump this one into a bundle by itself, so they would know it works fairly well on its own.
And true, there ain't nothing like major spoilers or continuity aspects that would have left you confused and looking for answers.
Other than repercussions that some characters you know close to nothing about, have suffered from past adventures. It doesn't go beyond that, simply sets you up with another partner.
Connections between the main character and side characters are clearly expressed.

[b] In short [/b]
To keep it simple, the overall quality of the product varies. Even with aspects the game did well at earlier moments.
Some highlights are still memorable, with great atmosphere, varied and fitting soundtrack.
occasionally diving into bad writing, a product that sometimes derives from poor translation, but having seen it to its conclusion, just seems like there wouldnt be enough excuses to forgive some of the events.
Not just that, you will find some really bad puzzle solving and adventure type elements that rival the logic on some HOG games you find on steam.
And of course an ending so baffling, it exposes the biggest fault in Cards of Destiny, we have a terrible villain, that fails to hit the mark on few key moments it had.

[b] STORY [/b]
Nothing new here, Nicole is the one detective that gets the killers attention as she is led and manipulated while following the trail.
However unlike the typical Hollywood Romanticization of serial killers, the killer doesnt strike anyone as fascinating or charismatic, his reasons are not solid, his plans are a bit too unpractical. He is mostly out of the picture, aside from the formulaic cell call, sending evidence, leaving small clues, as if toying with the detectives.
The resemblance to perhaps other calm villains with eloquent speech and manipulative nature, quickly loses its power from his preposterous reasons and backstory alone.
The formula works fine for a while, independently. There was a nice pool of victims and people who aided or got involved with the killer´s endeavours to show how easily we could manipulate justice?
Quite a few, vastly different locations as well.
They definitely went a bit over the top with the "Art of murder" but, fun until we start getting close to finish line, at which point it fumbles and dives deep into absurdity.

[b] So...about that ending, huh? [/b]
[spoiler] I'm speechless, i understand the gist of it, but the events did not occur as expected for any of this to make the least amount of sense.
As mentioned before, a lot of the plot revolves around Nicole looking over clues the Killer as been feeding the investigation with.
He is essentially, separating her from the rest of the team, calmly manipulating her, with the true intent of making her the Killer weapon.
All fine thus far, Nicole was there, in many of these locations by herself, the victims brought there to test her all died, as unpractical and unlikely it was, it had worked.
Even her partner died due to a mindnubing confrontation that resulted in a car chase.
Nicole is caught by the killer, trapped with another victim, possibly with the intent of ending both their lives. The case would come to an end with both Nicole and the killer being reported dead after a shoot out.
The events don't unfold that way however, Nicole manages to escape and trap the villain. In his speech, he refuses to understand that Nicole is in fact standing right in front of him, armed. Instead he acts like, Nicole would still be considered one of the murder victims. He simply believes he can casually walk away from the crime scene, which he did try, quite calmly i might add.
So what exactly was his goal in all of this? why didn't he kill nicole in the first place? Why was the other victim already dead? Wouldn't it make more sense if he had promised freedom if the victim shot Nicole. [/spoiler]

[b] Gameplay [/b]
Mostly good puzzles and adventure elements. There are a few areas that were certainly memorable.
However, at points it has no vision of what elements to bring into a fun puzzle, often relying exercices in patience, punishing the player with pure slog and boredom of having to wait for an animation to end to simply click on the next objective.

The point n click aspect can also break the flow of things with unnecessary pauses. Example: having to wait on npc to finish their animation to finally be able to click somewhere else.
Similarly, the system nitpicky when it comes to item combination, requiring the player to observe the item first, even forcing a voice line describing the object before you can do anything.

[b] Dialogue [/b]
At points in can sound awkward, not in a way that would sacrifice one's understanding of the plot. Though it does sound unnatural at times. Personally i don't like the dialogue box either, it might as well be automated, as it doesnt require me to make any decisions.
I've also noticed quite a few dialogue options are strangely put, its not exactly you would make a question or a statement, but referring to information you want out of that interaction.

This is terrible. The worst part is the dialogue. Almost every line of dialogue and every conversation is nonsensical. Seems to be a toxic combination of incompetent translation and incompetent writers even in the original Polish. On top of the awful dialogue, the voice acting of the main character is not good at all, and they have her commenting on everything. So even when she's not in nonsense, long, pointless conversations, she's monotonously blabbing pointless comments constantly. Puzzles were okay up until you get to the FBI office, but then it is just tedium and random guessing to get correct combinations. Everything takes nine steps when one would have been fine. I gave after that section.

Teil 3 macht vieles besser als seine Vorgänger!
Wer die beiden Teile gespielt hat und es bis zum Ende durchgehalten hat, der kann beruhigt zugreifen. Es ist fast alles besser als im Vorgänger!

Story:
Wendungsreich, verworren, nicht wirklich vorhersehbar und somit alles was eine gute Story braucht.
Es ist kein Bestseller, aber insgesamt macht es einen runderen Eindruck als beide Vorgänger zusammen.

Gameplay:
Klassisches Point and Click, aber mit viel mehr Variationen in den Rätseln, als die Vorgänger.
Ermittlungsarbeit bis zum Ende, bei der man nicht wie im Teil 2 den Eindruck hat, die Frau rennt Kopflos durch die Gegend und es werden einfach nur neue Hintergründe entgegen geworfen.
Es macht insgesamt viel mehr Sinn.

Fazit:

Wer Teil 1 und 2 mag, macht hier alles richtg! Preislich ist es top!

En general es un buen juego de aventuras gráficas.Historia bastante interesante.
Entonces me dirán xq tiene reseñas negativas?...Pues porque:
.Es un juego que hay que ir guardando a cada rato,porque algunas cosas deberás hacerlas en el orden que los creadores determinaron,sino se bugea sin poder avanzar.(ejs.Motor del carrito al faro,las 2 impresiones del mapa,etc).
.Hay que prestar bastante atención a la trama del juego,porque al final terminamos sospechando de todo el mundo y si no sabias el porque como que no vas a entender el final.
.Hay ciertos puzzles como la hoja que hay que ir dando vuelta,o en el momento que buscamos la frecuencia de la radio que podes demorar un rato largo,ya que no hay indicaciones o indicio alguno de como seguir o que es lo que estamos buscando.

Unnecessarily long dialogues, clunky game play (combine object a with b: wrong. combine object b with a: correct - why? sometimes you need to go into detail view first, sometimes it'll open it for you if required, etc. You spend more time wondering if how you did something is correct instead of what), unsatisfying end. I lost track of the story pretty quickly.
All in all the game felt like a chore.

I didn't think it was possible to get even worse than the previous two games, but here we are. More bad writing! More pointless minigames! More random gating! A lot of tedious tasks! Seriously, in the third installment finally getting to do some FBI stuff instead of being a poor man's Tomb Raider could have been good, but the sheer dullness of the sequence of things you have to do in the lab is astounding - what's next, filing Nikki's taxes in real time? Also, what's the point of having an empowered female protagonist if every NPC who talks to her has some sexist remark to make? At this point I'll keep playing only to justify to myself the fact that I spent real money on this.

This is the third game of the Art of Murder series. While in the beginning it seemed not particularly captivating, because, as always, you find yourself in the middle of a murder case without really knowing what was going on, it turned out to be a highly interesting case with many twists. The quality of the game series improved a bit in terms of animation and voice-acting. I enjoyed this game more than the “Hunt for the Puppeteer”. The fact that this game offered me more than 10 hours of game play, had lots of puzzles and places to visit, I give it a 8/10.

PS: It's funny that the FBI bureau has its own bomb-defusing-room. Seems common for the FBI to receive lots of parcels with explosives xD

It has a very well-made programming, there's no technical or buggy issue whatsoever. The background music is not amazing but it's good enough and the story it's a little clichéd.

Puzzles are a little challenging. You'd be surprised how most graphic adventures have an easier way to achieve its logic. I really needed to be a little smart to pass through the game some times. In my case, I have a lack of observation sometimes so these kind of games help me to focus better on those.

Игру рекомендую всем любителям поинт-энд-клик приключений и детективов. Графика неплохая, дела интересные, вот только сама героиня какая-то глупая, я заметила это ещё во второй части, когда у неё прямо под носом убили несколько жертв, а она ничего не сделала (букиниста и шаманку)! А в третьей части так вообще далеко не хэппи-энд: она, в итоге (внимание, спойлер!), станет пешкой убийцы и вообще уйдёт из ФБР... В общем, фильм с такой концовкой и такой главной героиней меня бы разочаровал))) Но если забить на эти неприятные и нелогичные моменты в сюжете, и просто играть, то, в целом, можно неплохо провести пару вечеров, особенно, если купить (но лучше брать со скидкой!) все три части. Четвёртая и пятая, насколько я знаю, просто поиск предметов, что, кстати, расстраивает, можно было бы продолжить приключение в качестве частного детектива.

Der dritte Fall ist von der Geschichte her außergewöhnlich gut.
Dieses Klassische Point-and-Click-Adventure basiert auf Crime Scene Investigation. Gespielt wird es als Krimi in Abenteuerstyle. Du musst an verschiedenen Orten eine ganze Menge gut gemachte Rätsel lösen um Spuren des Serienmörders zu finden. Diese Spuren musst du dann Auswerten. Wirklich interessant gemacht, mit einer sehr guten Story. Das Gamplay ist sehr gut gemacht.

Der Schwierigkeitsgrad der Rätsel in dieser Geschichte ist durchweg sehr hoch, hier lassen sich die Rätsel kaum noch durch Nachdenken lösen. Sie sind oft einfach zu schwer um noch daran Spaß zu haben.
Da ihr bestimmt Hilfe brauchen werdet, schaut mal dort nach.

3/5 detective game from 2009.

The third case is exceptionally good in history.
This classic point-and-click adventure is based on crime scene investigation. It is played as a thriller in adventure style. You have to solve a lot of well-made puzzles in different places to find traces of the serial killer. You then have to evaluate these traces. Really interesting, with a very good story. The gameplay is very well done.

The level of difficulty of the puzzles in this story is consistently very high, here the puzzles can hardly be solved by thinking. They are often just too heavy to have fun with.
Since you will definitely need help, have a look there.

The most fun I had playing this game was trashing it with my sisters. It's nearly impossible to get through with out a walkthrough, unless you take the time to try out every possible item combination. And even then she makes a comment each time you guess wrong and you have to be holding a specific object to use on the other one. The dialogue is bad, but I assume they just directly translated it, which may explain the poor voice acting, but doesn't excuse it. The plot is pretty interesting leading up to the end, but the ending leaves many plot holes and the clunky dialogue doesn't help to clear things up really. Luckily, I bought it and the rest of the games in the series on sale, but I wouldn't pay full price for it. That said, I did really like the background music, I thought it helped set the tone and gave the game a sense of danger, particularly in the swamp. The background music also tends to drown out the dialogue, but that's a plus in my opinion.

Ne var ki zoraki tetiklemelerle açılan eylemler oyuna birçok yerde kabak tadı veriyor. Zekanız yerine sinirinizi test etmiş oluyorsunuz. Üzücü. Bu nedenle de tavsiye etmiyorum.

Interesante juego de detectives. La protagonista es muy competente y en el final se resume toda la trama del juego. Recomendado, aunque no esté en español. Hay que dar las gracias a la compañía City Interactive S.A. por los magnificos juegos que realizó, entre ellos este. Desgraciadamente iba mal de fondos y por ello no tradujo al español este último juego, después cayo en bancarrota.
Joyitas que hay que buscar para encontrarlas. Me he divertido mucho jugándolas.
