18 Wheels of Steel: Haulin' - это не просто игра, это портал в те времена, когда ты запускал её на слабом ПК, включал музыку и чувствовал себя королём американских трасс. Ты не просто водитель - ты человек, который везёт арбузы через полстраны и переживает за них больше, чем за свою жизнь. Каждая поездка - это борьба с усталостью, с кривым управлением. Геймплей простой как жизнь: взял заказ - поехал - доехал (если повезёт). И вот в этой простоте есть какой-то странный кайф. Едешь себе по ночной трассе, фары светят, радио в голове играет и ты уже не просто игрок - ты дальнобойщик с великой миссией доставить груз, желательно целым.
Но если говорить о минусах:
• графика сейчас выглядит как воспоминание, а не как реальность;
• машины иногда ведут себя так, будто у них свой сюжет;
• однообразие может накрыть быстрее, чем штраф за превышение;
И всё же в этой игре что то есть. Это тот случай, когда ты запускаешь её на 10 минут, а потом внезапно уже строишь свою транспортную империю и думаешь «ещё один рейс и спать».

Melhor jogo desse estilo. Jogabilidade, objetivos. Melhor que todos os demais que são mais novos. Pena não ter sido atualizado!!
É um jogo bem antigo (20 anos atrás) agora em 2026, tem opções bem melhores como o American Truck Simulator, obviamente, só comprem isso pela nostalgia, esse jogo de 2006 á 2012 tinha um comunidade bastante ativa. Praticamente hoje em dia, roda em qualquer máquina.
Campanha dele é simples, tem vários caminhões legais, mas é tudo muito simples, repetitivo, nos tempos de hoje, a música dele realmente me pega muito, tudo nele claramente foi feito com muito carinho.
Recomendo mesmo assim pra quem queira um jogo levinho, pra passar um tempo, mas o modo carreira dele, pode ser frustrante e enfadonho nos dias de hoje.
Good enough for me, however ATS is superieur, but here we can drive in almost all states of the USA (except Hawaii and Alaska)
And we have snow in the north!
Graphics are very poor with a lot of pop-up but it has that atmosphere if you can put yourself 20 years back ;)
Не совсем понятно для чего сейчас нужны старые части 18 wos. Разве что купить в приступе ностальгии как сделал я. Но, конкретно эта часть не просто не прошла проверку временем, она была плоха еще в момент релиза. Играли в нее скорее от безысходности. Вторые дальнобойщики на тот момент были пройдены по сто раз, третьи еще не вышли, а ATS даже не было в планах. Приходилось играть в это.
Главный минус игры - она неимоверно унылая. Чтобы вы понимали насколько просто скажу, что на момент выхода игры мне было 9 лет. Казалось бы ребенка легко завлечь, но даже тогда меня клонило в сон уже спустя несколько часов. Все города одинаковые, графика хуже чем в первых частях "колес", грузовик ощущается не многотонной махиной, а игрушкой. При этом грузовиков много, но все ощущаются одинаково. Звуки в игре сделаны тоже так себе. А еще, для тех кто не знает английского упомяну что в стимовской версии русского нет. И не уверен, что ссылки на русификатор живы. Потому что в свое время дли игры было много модов, но сейчас живых ссылок осталось всего на несколько штук. Да и те не сделают ваше пребывание в игре сильно интереснее.
Честно говоря, на 2026 год у игры из плюсов разве что оптимизация. Так что Convoy, Haulin и American Long Haul можно смело пропустить и либо знакомится с более ранними играми, либо с Extreme Trucker, там хотя бы идея интересная.

Buen juego, por la fecha en la que salió es de esperarse que se siente algo arcade, sin embargo tiene muy buen contenido y funciones, considero que es un juego bastante entretenido y los gráficos han envejecido muy bien a su estilo. La conducción con teclado es un poco "feíta" y no se siente tan suave como en ATS por ejemplo, sería mucho mejor poderlo jugar con un volante

More of a nostalgia kick than anything. Fun and relaxing game to play. Don't expect it to be perfect... or particularly good.

This game only has nostalgia going for it. as it is essentially an inferior version of ETS.
I was pleasantly surprised with this sequel. AI traffic is still terrible and cars are not aware of your presence on the road, however if you sometimes use the service lane for driving there are usually no problems. All in all, when all the pros and cons are considered, I recommend playing this sequel because it's great for killing time and relaxing your brain.

I purchased this game through Steam in February of this year. Today I have tried to play it again, but every time I click the icon, I get a message saying, X 18 WoS Haulin. I have tried restarting my laptop, restarting the game, deleting things to make sure I have room and nothing works. I am not happy as I paid for this game, and now I can't even play it.

Sabah 6'da uyanmanın uykusuzluğuyla birlikte okul yorgunluğunun çökmesine rağmen deli gibi oynardım, radyosu için yaptığım arabesk, rap karma playlist, karlı bölgelerde müzik eşliğinde gezmek falan... Ne güzel zamanlarmış.

Surprised on how similar this game was to how I remember it from my childhood.
It has been 15 years since I played it, but the banter commands for radioing other NPC truckers while driving was still in my muscle memory.
So glad to see this game still being playable and on steam after so many years since it's release.

Küçüklüğümde oynardım. 900-640 derecelere sahip bir direksiyon seti ile yer yer ikinci el tır bakacağınız, yer yer polisten kaçacağınız, yer yer şoför alacak paraya sahip olup tır bulamayacağınız bir maceraya sizi sürüklüyor. Tüm bunları aşacağınız tırlarda ise lisans yok ancak bu fiyata eski bilgisayarlarda yaşattığı deneyimle alınabilecek bir oyun.

I would recommend this game however, at night, when you turn the headlights on, for me, they came on but they didn't light up the road. Really with Steam would fix this but in my opinion, Steam doesn't care about fixing any of their games if there is something wrong with it.

This is an old school simulator. Fun and nostalgic. This game is all about haulin' and watching strange things happen with AI vehicles. A lot of little things like CB radio communication (to ask for weather or traffic), buying used trucks and taking contracts with specific companies makes this game so unique and great. If you don't mind some bugs and those "strange" things happening, even though we have American truck simulator that is so much more sophisticated, Haulin' is so cool to play!

American Truck Simulator's very cool but somewhat less attractive grandfather. I never played this game until after 200+ hours of ATS and 100+ of ETS2. They graphics are dated but very good for games if that ere. It took a few gaming sessions, but I was able to tweak the Xbox controller settings to a decent level of response. They controller still feels a bit off and in cab steering wheel animations are jerky but again far better than many games from other devlopers.
Surprisingly this game does two things better than it's grandsons ATS and ETS2. I like that upgrading to a sleeper cab has more than cosmetic consequences. You can actually use them at any time to rest and restore fatigue. The fatigue settings and do seem to be a bit too strict. They can be turned off with by editing the configuration file, changing fatigue setting from 1 to 0.
Another thing that I like better is how the driver manager works. There is an actual logbook including graph but no countdown of minutes until you get fined for driving tired. You have to keep track of your driving hours.
This is a good diversion or franchise history lesson for SCS truck sim fans.

This game takes me back to simpler times. It is just how I remember playing it so many years ago. I would recommend any of the 18 wheels of steel games not just this one in particular. They are all so good.

It is like Bus Driver - this game sucks, but if you, like me, have spent your whole childhood playing this game then you just can't get enough of this game!! One thing tho' that's ACTUALLY cool about the game is that the map is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO biiiiiiig!!

Oh the nostalgia. I remember this game from my childhood. My dad was a truck driver and got me this game from I think Gamestop a while back when I was little. I lost the game and during my last days of high school I had a strong urge to want to find this game just to play it once again. It hasn't changed much from then. I personally like the game. Sure, there isn't much to look at but you have to remember this game is old. Like released back in 2006 old. The textures were pretty good for its time. If you want to enjoy a game where you can travel from Miami Florida all the way up to Vancouver, then this will give you some enjoyment. Overall 8/10!
If you came for the Nostalgia then get the game. Bring back the nostalgia!

В игре присутствует свободный мир, обширный выбор грузовиков и огромная карта. По сути - это дополнение к "18 Wheels of Steel: Convoy". Обновлены текстуры, подредактирована и увеличена карта, слегка изменены очертания населенных пунктов, а вокруг них построены объезды, что упрощает транзит и делает его более реалистичным. Вот, собственно, и всё. Зато предоставлена возможность сеть за руль автопоезда со сдвоенным трейлером, причем не в специальной миссии, а когда захочется, потому что такие грузы есть чуть ли не на любой базе.
Игра детства. Покупать, скорее всего, только для ностальгии.
